This story is completely fictional. Most of the places mentioned, and none of the characters exist in real life. Some may possess physical or personality characteristics of people I know or have known. But if you see yourself in this story, your imagination is better than mine!

"Tales from Bentonville" is a romantic story centering on the lives of high school kids. Lovers of other ages may appear, but not normally in a cross-generational sense. References to sex with under-age kids may be made for the sake of the story line. However, I feel that child molestation is a crime and should not be glorified or tolerated.

This is my fifth attempt at writing fiction. Tales from Bentonville, Chapter 109

The end of the school year was rapidly approaching. The major events that affected the boys from Greta's house included track and field events, the spring musical, band concerts, prom, and graduation.

The four of them were running track even though it wasn't their strongest sport. They loved the fresh air and exercise. It kept them from packing on pounds -- especially the two wrestlers who were not watching their diets as closely.

In addition to their school activities, Dave and Dustin were helping with spring planting on the Manson farm. They went out on afternoons when they didn't have afterschool activities and sometimes stayed over, driving Jared in with them in the morning. With the return of daylight time, they were able to work fairly late before it got too dark to continue.

Bob had replaced the furnace in the mobile home so that there would be comfortable accommodations for them. Usually, Jared used the other bedroom when they were there so that they could make connections about driving to school more easily - at least that was his excuse. He really enjoyed their time together.

The swing choir's biggest performances had occurred in the winter months so there was less stress on the singer/dancers, many of whom would be in the musical.

Bentonville was doing "Westside Story" this year. Some of the older students had seen Cosgrove's production several years before when they were much younger. They were eager to look and sound as good, but were feeling stressed trying to get everything done.

Joel was asked to come on a weekend to help set light cues. He was pleased to be invited to participate. He had taught some of the younger kids a lot about the computerized system, but it wasn't enough for them to feel confident. After several hours of work on a Saturday, all seemed to be in order.

Alex came home with Joel, naturally. He had a paper to do for a course, but didn't want to be separated from his husband of only a few months. So, while Joel was doing lighting, Alex was holed up in his old room at his parents' home with his laptop and notes.

He made enough progress on it to be able to relax when Joel came back from the high school. All that was left to do was to have a couple of people check his work for typos and then print off the amended copy.

Dane was selected for the role of "Tony" and Colt was cast as "Bernardo" because of his build and his dark hair. Of course, his voice quality and ability to dance had the most to do with it, but his look was the deciding factor. Alicia was given the part of "Maria" and Carrie got to play "Anita". Many of their guy friends including Trent, Jerry, Mike, Brent, Logan, and Jared had roles as Sharks or Jets. (Jared was there because Dave, Dustin, and Eddy were taking up the slack on spring planting and Bob thought that his son deserved to participate in school activities rather than to work all of the time.) Sara was cast as "Anybody's" and played the tomboy role to the hilt. There were enough roles to go around, keeping most everyone happy.

Cory and Dan helped on building and painting the set pieces rather than treading the boards. Because of their leadership skills, they were put in charge of other students who volunteered to help. They also ran the lighting and sound boards once Joel had helped with the cues.

Dustin and Dave felt that they simply couldn't participate. It was difficult enough to study, run track, and work on the farm. Anything more could have killed them! However, they ended up doing a bit of painting during the final push to finish. Bob and Eddy said that they could be spared for a few hours to benefit the theater -- especially since Jared was so involved in it.

While the production might not have been quite as polished as Cosgrove's had been, it was one of the best that Bentonville ever had done. The musical was performed on Thursday through Saturday nights with a matinee on Saturday as well. The kids played to a packed house each time. And, because of popular demand, they did one more matinee on Sunday afternoon.

The whole Albers' family turned out on the weekend to see Alicia. Allen and Abby brought Caleb along because he wanted to be there too.

Dane and Colt's extended family all managed to get there for the Saturday night show. Colt's stepfathers were nearly a proud of him as Wade was. The emotion that everyone felt about the boys' accomplishments was evident in the smiles and tears on their faces as the stood to applaud when the final note died away.

The last major event before graduation was senior prom. The guys at Greta's house went as couples because they were out and there was no reason to pretend. They doubled, going out to eat in Cosgrove before heading for the dance. The photographer seemed a bit surprised to be taking pictures of same-sex dates, but was sophisticated enough not to make any comments -- especially after the principal came by commenting on what great couples they made.

There were always a number of girls as well as guys who arrived without dates. The boys had plenty of opportunity to dance with female partners during the evening.

For the final, slow dance, the guys were with their boyfriends. No one made a big deal out of it because Joel and Alex had helped desensitize the community the year before.

After it was over, they all went to a bowling party hosted by SADD and then back to Greta's house for a late-night snack before turning in. No one was into getting drunk and there was no need to rent a motel room for sexual pleasure. In fact, they all went to sleep fairly quickly without making love. Dave and Dustin were planning to drive to the farm after an early breakfast. Dane and Colt had volunteered to help for part of the day at least. There was work to be done.

At last graduation was in sight. Colt had told his parents and stepfathers that he'd rather have them at his commitment ceremony than at graduation. They had responded that they would attend both. Life was too short not to. Sharon felt that she had already missed too many events in his life and was not about to miss either of these.

Camelot was the site of the after-graduation party. The boys wanted to keep it small because they would be having a larger gathering in a few weeks, so it was basically extended family and close friends -- their usual gang from the cafeteria table as well as Joel, Alex, Abby, and Allen.

The gifts that the boys received were mostly in the form of cash for college expenses. They really didn't expect large gifts because they were satisfied with what they had. They could have asked for a sportier car or perhaps new computer equipment, but what they had was adequate for the time being. Their main focus in the near future would be on paying for their college educations.

Toward the end of the party, Dane and Colton asked Joel and Alex to stay later to talk to them along with Dave and Dustin about wedding plans. Joel said that his grandmother, Jane, would be happy to make recommendations about the caterer she often used and he would be pleased to talk about details that the guys would probably like. He also gave an invitation that surprised them, but that no one wanted to turn down.

"Alex and I are going to jet down to Belize in one of the company planes for a week this summer. It will take as much fuel and crew to take two guys as it would six. You could use the condo that my other grandparents own and have plenty of privacy. We could take some or all of our meals together -- whatever you like. There is also a very private beach that we could go to as individual couples or as a group depending on your wishes. You can go naked all day and make love as often as you want to there."

"Wow, that sounds awesome, but it's really too much," Colt exclaimed.

"It's not too much at all," Joel countered. "As I said, it won't really cost more than it will for the two of us and we'd enjoy it even more with you guys. Think of it as a wedding gift. You can't turn that down."

The other two couples decided that it wouldn't be good manners to refuse Joel's generous offer -- especially when he and Alex were willing to plan their getaway around the commitment ceremony. They all agreed that it would be the trip of a lifetime.

The boys found out that planning for a wedding -- straight or gay -- was not for the faint of heart. They were fortunate to have lots of help from their mothers and grandmother as well as Joel's grandmother. Had it not been for the women, there was no way that they could have worked pretty much full time and gotten it all done.

Dane was surprised at the price that the caterer was giving them for the quality of the spread they were providing. He didn't know that Jane Masterson was making up the difference so that they could have a few more extras. She had also made the service aware of the fact that they would very likely get more business if the provided the best for this event considering that many young people from the community would be there.

Finally, the magic weekend arrived. The four grooms had decided to take many suggestions from Joel and Alex and to wear white outfits with rainbow sashes. Their attendants, Jerry, Trent, Brent, and Mike wore white slacks and pastel shirts. They looked stunning. The four mothers came up in pairs to light a candle each for their own sons just before the processional music began.

EJ and Emma had been enlisted to sprinkle rose petals and carry the four rings. Since this wasn't a traditional wedding, the guys were going to have EJ and Emma both spread flowers and bring two rings each.

The weather at Camelot was ideal as expected. The grounds offered a picture-perfect setting for the event. There were chairs set up with a center aisle for the young men to walk down. At the front, stood an altar-like piece that Joel and Alex had suggested as a focal point.

Fr. Jerry officiated, but Pastor Dan participated in the prayers and scripture readings. Fr. Jerry's partner, Dennis, sang "You Raise Me Up" for them, but Dane and Colt also sang to each other and for Dave and Dustin as both couples held hands and gazed into their lover's eyes. Their selection was "One Hand, One Heart" from West Side Story. Dane had sung it in the show and Colt had sung it with him as a duet when they were rehearsing at home.

Fr. Jerry gave a short, but meaningful, homely. He talked about the joys of two individuals becoming one. He mentioned his own experience briefly as an illustration of the fact that two same-sex people could have that experience. He expressed the hope that complete equality would become a reality within his lifetime. But, he was careful not to turn this sacred event into a political soapbox.

At the end, the couples lit unity candles and then knelt for the blessing while Dennis sang "The Lord's Prayer".

Almost everyone who was invited to the ceremony showed up. That included many high school students and a number of recent graduates as well as adults who had had significant roles in the lives of the couples. Their extended family members all came, much to their delight.

As people lined up to congratulate the couples, Dustin and Dave saw a family that they hadn't expected to be able to attend. All of the Manson's were there. When they came up to the boys, they gave them big hugs.

"Wow," Dustin exclaimed. "We figured that you wouldn't be able to leave the farm even for a few hours this time of year, but we're so pleased that you could come!"

"Well, Jared just HAD to be here and we did too, for that matter. You young men mean the world to us after all you did last summer and since. Eddy said that he could hold down the fort for a few hours at least."

Both Dave and Dustin were overjoyed that Bob and his family had taken off time in their busy season to come to their wedding. Some straight people wouldn't have made the effort for gay guys.

When the food was served, the guests were really impressed. Several people who were planning large events asked for business cards so that they could hire them too. The owner of the catering service smiled all afternoon and so did Jane. Her prediction had proved to be true.

Greta had had a large concrete slab poured to be used as a dance floor and had hired a professional disc jockey for entertainment. (Being the practical woman that she was, she planned to have a garage built on it later in the summer.)

After several hours of celebration, the grooms were whisked away in a white Cadillac Limo. They were only traveling as far as the hotel near the airport just south of Cosgrove for the night. It made sense for them to have the chance to consummate their unions before they boarded the small jet in the morning for the several-hour flight. Their luggage was already in their rooms when they arrived. Joel and Alex had seen to that before the wedding. Nothing had been overlooked or left to chance.

In the guys' rooms were bottles of chilled champagne that had been smuggled in as well as vases of flowers. Their rooms might not have been honeymoon suites, but were equipped with king sized beds and that was the main thing that the boys were interested in anyway.

Since Dave and Dustin had already "gone all the way" earlier in their relationship, this night did not hold the same anticipation that it did for Dane and Colt. However, they did feel different as they got ready to make love for the first time as a committed couple.

Colt and Dane took turns using the bathroom to prepare themselves for consummating their union. Colt went first and waited naked in bed for Dane to join him. Although they had practices stretching each other, they had abstained from sexual release of any kind for the past several days so that their first coupling would be really special. As a result, Colt's erection was making an obvious tent in the sheet.

Dane studied his own reflection in the mirror for a minute before exiting the bathroom. What he saw pleased him. The guy looking back was not the nervous, shy boy with a zit on his nose who had been there nearly four years ago. That timid boy had been replaced with a confident, smiling young man. Wow, how things had changed. He was ready to make love to Colt to the fullest way that he could.

The two guys kissed gently between sips of bubbly as they began their sensuous foreplay. They were leisurely because they had no time constraints. If they missed a bit of sleep, it wasn't a problem because they could nap on the plane.

Kissing gave way to licking and sucking of nipples and bellybuttons. They avoided licking each other's cock because they were afraid of premature ejaculation. Both were aroused, panting, and leaving sticky trails of precum on each other for half an hour before Dane lay back and invited Colt to take him. Dane had chosen to offer himself first, because he remembered how great it had felt to have Colt on top of him and he wanted also to feel Colt in him.

Colt lovingly prepared his husband with plenty of lube as they had practiced in recent weeks. When he pushed his steely tool against Dane's rosebud, it slipped in without any sharp pain. Dane could definitely feel that he was being taken by a MAN, but it was mostly a full feeling.

Colt stopped several times to let Dane adjust to the intruder before at last resting against his pubes. Then, he moved his hips slowly with long strokes until Dane begged him to speed up. Once Colt got into a steady rhythm, he could feel his orgasm building and he did his best to ride the wave of desire before blasting his load. Dane kept trying to defocus so that he wouldn't cum too. Neither guy was successful in holding back. Colt's orgasm was so powerful that he appeared to be in the throes of a heart attack when he came. His reaction plus that final stimulation of Dane's prostate made Dane unload between them.

They spent nearly 15 minutes in their sticky, post-orgasmic bliss; licking up Dane's offering and gently caressing each other all over. Neither guy went soft in all that time.

Colt lay back with his knees pulled up to his chest to indicate that it was his turn to be deflowered. Dane ran his lubricated fingers across, and then into, Colt's warm hole teasing it until Colt said he'd better get laid soon or he was going to be crazy! Not wanting to cause his husband undue emotional stress, Dane greased up his cock and pushed it into its new home.

Colt moaned and Dane froze.

"Don't stop, Baby," Colt pleaded. "I'm not in pain. I'm lovin' this!"

After that, Dane slowly pushed in all the way. Like Colt had done, he started with long, gentle strokes, nearly slipping out at the end. Colt wrapped his legs around Dane's back and pushed himself hard against the hot poker that was invading him.

"Fuck me like a rabbit!" he giggled. "I want to feel you take my cherry."

"Damn, Colt, when you talk dirty, you really make me horny!"

"Hornier," Colt corrected him. "I can't MAKE you what you already ARE!

It took a little longer the second round because both guys had cum really hard. However, since they had changed positions, the sensations were new to them and that hastened their way toward climax again.

Colt was pushing up against Dane each time Dane thrust into him. It was a very powerful feeling of animal-like rutting and both young men made guttural noises which expressed their lust. Colt came first again and the contraction of his sphincter muscles milked Dane over the edge. This time, the experience of afterglow was less intense and the boys began to soften since they had both been sated and satisfied (well and truly fucked as they would say to each other later).

Sleep overtook them before they could muster up the energy to shower again. That would have to wait until morning.

Author's notes:

Well readers, chapter 110 will be the final one in the lives of the Bentonville crowd. I do anticipate that the main characters may make cameo appearances in future stories, but I'm not absolutely sure at this moment.

It would please me greatly to hear from all of you between now and the last posting of the story. I know; I'm begging for emails here. One of you called me an "email slut" (in a nice way) some years back. I admit it!

Here is the roster of recent people who have fed my habit: Michael D (Paul L), Anonymous, Don, Bert (I tried to respond, but got it back as undeliverable), Larry C, Jim C, Polar, Chea, Vann, Alex, Rad, Paul R, Paul W, and Tim S.

Of course I heard from Tom and David who edit. They are going over "Always and Forever" to revise it slightly to better form. I'm not sure where it will be posted in the future.

I have other stories on the back burner. I'm thinking that "Second Chance" will be posted first, but I may post "Of Angels and Dragons" which is a short story about two adult males. I also have titles like "Tommy and Tanner" and "Changes" in the works. The latter one is about adult males finding themselves and each other.

Please remember that the characters in my stories are usually monogamous and fairly careful. Please play safe!
