He had the brightest smile on his face when I said that.

  • I am anxious to know what it is, he said, but I am suspecting what your answer will be.

So I sat in the chair in front of his desk and explained to him the conversation I had had with my

Granny and the input she had brought to make my decision easier.

  • So, if you want, I really would like us to give it a try at running that Youth Centre.

  • That's what I thought you would chose. And as a matter of fact, I even anticipated it and called my

accountant to prepare the necessary paperwork to put this business for sale. I don't expect to have a

buyer tomorrow, but I am pretty sure there will be enough candidates. I even gave orders to the

accountant to contact some of our direct competition who will probably be interested in buying me off

the market.

  • Are you always that prepared? I asked him.

  • Pretty much so Steve, it's the only way to be and stay in business. What do you think about your

colleague Jason?

I was a little bit surprised by his question but answered him truthfully that I thought he was a very

professional and competent asset for the company. Joe grabbed his internal phone and called Jason to

his office. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and Jason came through.

As he sat down next to me, Joe informed him that I was quitting. I didn't expect that he would tell the

news so quickly and so abruptly. Jason looked at me and the only thing I could do was to nod as to tell

him Joe was right. Joe then went on explaining that he had other matters to attend to and was looking

for someone to take his place on a temporary basis and, maybe, a more permanent basis if everything

went alright.

  • I was thinking Jason, that you could be the perfect man for the job. Do you think you could handle

the fact of sitting in my chair?

Jason was clearly stunned at this sudden offer and looked from Joe to me and back several times. He

asked Joe if he could think it over and what the conditions would be. Joe grabbed a piece of a paper

and a pen and wrote something on it. Then he handed the paper to Jason saying that that was the

offer and the conditions would be that he could run the company as he wished as long as the results

would show in the accountancy. Jason unfolded the paper and I guessed the figure was high enough

as his eyes almost popped out of their orbits.

  • That's double of what you are paying me now, he exclaimed.

  • Yes, indeed it is, but you'll have twice as much work as you have now as well. It is quite a demanding

job. You also have to know I am going to sell the company. I will of course insist that they keep all the

people working here, but I can't promise anything. If they would agree, the job as manager would be a

permanent one. I guess you will want to discuss this over with your wife and therefore I would say

you can leave early today. But I want an answer by tomorrow at the latest.

Jason was still too stunned to react in a normal way, but had equally a bright smile on his face. He

thanked Joe profusely and stood up and shook both our hand. As he was standing at the door with his

hand on the door handle he turned around and said:

  • By the way, congratulations to both of you. You make the perfect couple.

He then turned around and left Joe's office. Joe was thinking for just a few moments and then got up.

He went out and talked individually to each and every person in the office and when he was finished,

he called for their general attention and said:

It is a special day for me, and I know you are not used to this, but I see everybody is quite up-to-date

with his work. So ... why don't you all get up and go home early? ... And don't get used to it, because it

won't happen everyday!

He came back to his office where I was waiting for him and he said we also would have an early

evening. He shut down his computer, switched off the lights and we were out of the door before

anyone else.

As we got in his car, he said we would go and have a look at the mansion. It was only 2 o'clock in the

afternoon and there was almost no traffic at all. We were out of town in less than 20 minutes and

reached a quite secluded place a few miles from downtown. We reached a little road and at the end of

it there was the gated entrance to what seemed to be a huge space. He drove up to quite a big house

surrounded by gardens that really needed some attention. At the entrance of the house there were

several vans parked and I saw they were all of a construction company. Joe stopped his car just in

front of the main door. WE got out and went in.

I was awestruck. This mansion was superb although it still needed quite some work. As the foreman

saw Joe, he came over and shook our hands. He immediately started to show Joe what had been done

and what still had to be accomplished. It seemed to me, after hearing the explanations, that they has

been working there already a few month and I couldn't imagine what that mansion had to look like

when they started the refurbishments. Joe gave me the gran tour of the house and its surroundings,

explaining in detail what it was like before and what he intended to do with each and every space. If I

counted well, we would be able to host to about a dozen guys and still have some private quarters to

ourselves. Every room was equipped with a little private bathroom but with all the necessary

amenities. There was a huge lounge and an adjacent dinning room. Just behind the dinning room

there was a totally equipped kitchen and a storeroom.

As Joe asked the foreman how longer he would need to finish the job, he was pleased to hear that

everything would be done in less than a month time. Joe looked at me and said:

-We have quite a lot of work to do in that time. I'll show you the project on my laptop and you will

understand.

We left after that because we were of no help at all. I maybe could take a brush in my hands and paint

a wall or a door, but that was the most of my skills I could show. We went back in town and to my

place. It seemed to be that Joe loved my place a lot and where he felt at home. As soon as we reached

my penthouse, he took of his shoes and socks as it started to be his habit. He also took off his jacket

and his tie and unbuttoned the first two button of his shirt. I don't know if he actually knew the effect

that had on me as his chest hair was poking out of his shirt. I went over to him and kissed him

passionately and slipped my hands in his shirt to caress his chest. He responded briefly to my kiss

and then said we would have time to play later. I realized he was in "boss-mood" and obliged. Before

we started on the project I went to the kitchen and prepared a fresh opt of coffee as I suspected we

would be busy quite some time.

As I sat down with two steaming mugs, Joe had already started up his laptop and surfed through the

hundreds of file on it. He then opened a file and started to explain what he had planned up till now. I

could hear and feel the enthusiasm in his voice and his whole being. He was so excited by everything

that had been done and what still had to be accomplished. He gave me every detail of the project and I

thought it was just brilliant. I gave my opinion on a few things and he seemed to like it as he typed

furiously away to add notes on the existing file.

He also had a list of professionals that we would have to hire. One of the professionals that seemed to

be missing on his list was a lawyer.

  • You see, I said, we will have to deal with angry families and parents. Some of those guys we will offer

shelter and help to, will not even be legally adult. We will have to protect them as much as we can in

case some parents want to get back at them.

  • As strange as it can sound, I never had to deal with lawyers. The only time I had to do so, was when I

started up the company and I was then helped by an acquaintance of my father. That lawyer died a

few years ago. I don't know any other one and wouldn't know whom to turn to.

I took my phone out of my pocket and dialled my Granny's number. She answered so quickly that I

thought she was having her mobile phone in her hands. I explained the problem to her and she said

she would make a call and get back to me in a very short time.

She did. I took her about ten minutes to call me back telling me that her lawyer had a grandson who

just finished law-school and was at practice in his office. He was sure he the guy would be delighted

to be of any help. She gave me the number of the guy and said I could call whenever I wanted, as her

lawyer would tell him straight away that we would be interested in his services. She also assured me

that her lawyer had said he was a very good person and a professional as there are no longer.

As I had put the phone on loudspeaker, Joe had been able to follow the conversation.

  • Seeing you have the necessary contacts I will leave you in charge to hire the people we will need.

You have an absolute carte blanche in that matter.

I nodded to him, realizing bit by bit that I would have equal responsibility in the Youth Centre. I

assumed this responsibility, as we were now talking in earnest and going all the way. I didn't loose

any time and called the young lawyer and made an appointment to meet him the following morning at

my penthouse as the offices at the mansion were not ready yet..

When Joe had finished explaining me everything we realized the sun had gone down. Our stomachs

rumbled at the same time and I went to the kitchen to prepare us dinner while Joe finished up a few

notes on his laptop. He soon joined me in the kitchen and wrapped his arms around my waist from

behind and kissing my neck. I felt shivers going through my body. I just loved to feel him so close. It

was not only physical; it was also that we connected emotionally and mentally. I felt we were really

complementary to each other.

His hands roamed over my chest and belly and he kept on nuzzling at my ear lobes, knowing perfectly

well it would awaken my sleeping cock. His left hand played with the hair on my chest while his right

hand travelled downwards and rested finally on my crotch. The warmth he radiated went through the

fabric of my trousers and if that was not enough he squeezed me softly. I sighed softly and let out a

moan. I switched of the cooker, as I didn't want our dinner to burn. He unbuckled my belt and opened

my trouser with a surprising agility as he did with only one hand. My trousers fell to my ankles and I

was standing there, wrapped in his arms, with my briefs tenting obscenely. He rubbed my shaft

through the fabric of my briefs and I had to hold on to the kitchen counter if I didn't want to fall. My

knees felt weak and I lifted my hands above my head, grabbing him by his neck.

As my trousers trapped my ankles, I couldn't move, so I kicked them off and spread my legs a little. I

felt his hand leave my cock and fumble with his own belt and trousers. Soon enough he was grinding

his crotch at my ass-crack. Joe was impatient and apparently quite excited as He put his fingers in the

waistband of my briefs and slipped them down. Then he dropped his briefs as well. His steel-hard

cock was now rubbing directly on my buttocks and trying to creep in between of them. I moved my

ass sideways and tried to catch his rod. Joe grabbed his cock and guided it directly to my rosebud. For

just an instant I was afraid he would fuck me dry, but he was to considerate for that. He took the

bottle of olive oil that was on the counter and poured some on my lower back. The oil dripped slowly

into my ass-crack and he smeared it over my rosebud with his cock-head. It felt wonderful and I

relaxed as much as I could in his arms. I felt a pressure at my hole and I wanted him so much in me

that I pushed back with one powerful thrust. I was totally impaled on him and felt his pubes tickling

my ass-cheeks. The burning pain was intense and I stayed still for a moment till I noticed that the pain

was converting into pleasure. I moved a little and Joe took that as the sign that he could start his

pumping motions. First they were long slow strokes but he increased his speed. I felt his heavy

breath on my neck and soon my balls were retracting in my groin. I knew I was on the verge of

coming, but I didn't do anything to avoid it. Joe stroked my manhood in unison to his pumping in and

out of me. I felt me heart skip a beat as the first volley of juice spurt out of my cock. I involuntarily

contracted my ass-muscles and that was the trigger for Joe to start coming as well. He went on

thrusting in me and with each push I spurted out more juice out of my dick. Our movements slowed

down till we were standing perfectly still. Our cocks deflated and far too soon Joe's cock slipped out of

my ass. He took the kitchen paper roll and cleaned us both as well as possible. As the temperature in

the penthouse was really pleasant, I didn't even bother to put my clothes back on. Joe saw that and

felt overdressed, so he took off the remaining of his clothes and we both stayed naked for the rest of

the evening and night.

I resumed my cooking and we had a nice intimate dinner with again a single candle in the centre of the

table. It was unavoidable that the conversation went back to our Youth Centre. I was just about to set

desert on the table when my mobile phone rang. I looked at the caller's ID and saw it was Granny

again. I picked up, of course.

  • Good evening Granny.

  • Hello Stevie. I had a thought and couldn't wait till tomorrow to call you about it. I don't want to be

nosy, but I know you had a good salary. What I don't know is your financial situation right now. If you

are going to manage that Youth Centre, I would like you to have your say in everything. So, can you

just find out what it will all cost and I want to give you at least half of the total investment. It is better

for you to have part of your inheritance now that you need it, then to wait till I go on my last journey.

  • Granny, don't talk like that ...

She interrupted me immediately.

  • There is no way you are going to tell me what I can do and what I can't. Do as I say and find out and

tell me as soon as possible. End of discussion. Have a good night Stevie.

And with that she hung up. Joe looked at me questioningly. I explained him what Granny had said and

asked him if he could bring me up-to-date on that matter.

  • Well, there are maybe a few things you should know. It is not that I wanted to have secrets for you,

but the right time didn't come along, till now, to tell you my situation. When I was just twenty, I met a

man who was twenty years older than me. We fell in love at first sight and had a happy relationship

despite our age difference. During five years we were so happy that it almost hurt. Nonetheless, we

felt we were everything for each other till that tragic night. We had gone to the premiere of a new

show, which was clearly a little more than just gay-friendly. When we came out there was a group of

homophobes who were expressing their disgust about gay people. Everybody tried to get away as

quickly and as safe as possible. Those homophobes started to throw all kind of things towards the

people that came out of the theatre. Some of those things were stones and one of the stones hit my

lover in the head. I grabbed his hand and we ran away as fast as we could. Once we were in safety I

looked at the wound on his head and at that same moment Simon, my lover, fainted. I tried to wake

him up, but couldn't. I shouted for help and it took quite some time before a police car came by. I

gestured them to come and help me and when they saw the situation, they called for an ambulance

immediately. Simon was taken to hospital but actually didn't make it. The stone on his head had

provoked a brain bleeding. I was totally devastated and went home, shutting myself up and crying my

loss day and night.

I could see Joe had a problem coping with the memory. His eyes were moist and a few tears even

came down on his cheek. I told him he didn't have to go on if it was to hard, but he insisted

  • A few days later I had the visit of the police. They wanted me to press charges as they had several of

the homophobes in custody. I gave them my version of the facts, but didn't expect anything coming

out of it. The week after that, I received a letter from an attorney, asking me to drop by at his office.

To make a long story short, Simon had left me all his possessions. That included his house and

surroundings and an important amount of money. I didn't care about the house or the money and left

it all like it was. I guess you already understand that the mansion you saw this afternoon was in fact

Simon's house. The funds to refurbish it and convert it in the Youth Centre, is as well Simon's.

  • Would you mind meeting my Granny and explain that to her? I asked.

  • I would be delighted to meet your Granny, as I understand it is probably the only person of your

family I will ever meet. But apart from that, she seems to be quite a Lady.

We both had a smile at that. I explained to Joe what she meant to me and what she had done for me.

He understood perfectly well. I also had my share of past to tell him and when I was finished he said

that he would understand if I had problems dealing with kids that were in a situation equal to mine,

even if mine was already a lot of years ago.

The day had been tiring and we soon found ourselves under the covers, spooned together and

wandering off to dreamland.

The following morning we were up quite early. Joe had to go to the office and prepare the necessary

paperwork to install Jason as the new manager. He was absolutely convinced Jason was going to

accept his offer. For me, I had the appointment with the lawyer Granny had put me in contact with. At

nine o'clock sharp the bell rang and I let him in. I had opened the door to the penthouse and I was

pending of hearing the elevator reaching my floor. When I heard the elevator I went to the door and

was met by one of the most gorgeous guys I had ever laid my eyes on. That guy didn't have to be a

lawyer, but a model on international fashion shows. Perfectly proportioned with neatly trimmed hair

and beard and the most incredible blue eyes. On top of that he was wearing an Italian suit with a

white shirt and a discreet tie. His shoes were shinning and he had a discreet briefcase in his hand. As

he approached me he stretched out his hand and had a firm but gentle handshake. He introduced

himself:

  • Norte, David Norte. I guess you are Steve Spencer, right?

  • Indeed I am, I said, please come in.

He came in and I invited him to sit down at the table where Joe had left his laptop and a bunch of

papers, all related to the Youth Centre. The first five minutes we had some small talk about

everything and nothing in particular. David had a deep baritone voice, but with an extraordinary

softness in it. As he spoke he looked me straight in the eyes and I could feel his sincerity and honesty.

As I said, everything except the typical lawyer.

As the small talk winded down, he said:

  • Let's come to business, as my grandfather didn't tell me a lot about it and I love to have a maximum

of data in my hand before accepting a case.

I liked his directness. So I started to explain to him the project of the Youth Centre with all the

possible implications. He listened without interrupting me, not even once. What he did was writing

down a few notes while I told him what we wanted to do and what we expected from him. When I

was finished, he started with his questions and I answered him as truthfully as I could. Some of the

questions were not having any answer yet and others I had to ask Joe. But I mimicked his way of

doing things as I went on writing down what had to be clarified in the very near future. As we came to

the financial part of the business he surprised me, stating:

  • I want to participate in this project in a very active way, meaning that you will be able to count on me

and with me for a lot of things. But first things first. For the first year I won't charge you for anything

at all. Those young guys that will be a situation where the law is involved will need all the possible

support. I want to give that to them. For the legal part of setting up the Youth Centre, I will ask you to

pay the legal fees but I don't want anything for myself. You have to understand that my twin brother

and me are both gay as well, and we were lucky that our parents and family accepted us without

restrictions. We always said that we would help the gay community as much as we could and

according to our abilities. But this project deserves a lot more and I can speak for my brother and

myself: we will put in it everything we have.

I was flabbergasted. This was a lot more than we ever expected from a lawyer, but then again I had to

admit that Granny would never mingle with people she didn't like a hundred percent. She also was a

very good judge of characters and I saw now what she saw in this young man if he had any of the

genes of his grandfather. On top of that, this god of a man had a twin brother!!!

  • Can I ask you what your brother does for a living? I asked.

  • Of course, he works at the General hospital. Most of the time he works in Emergency Room, to try to

relieve the pain of the people coming in after an accident of any kind.

I thought this was too good to be true because a doctor was on the list of the people we wanted to

hire. I asked David if he thought his brother would be interested in covering the medical needs at the

Youth Centre. David was totally convinced his brother would jump to the occasion, as that was

something they already had talked about in the past. I arranged for David to have a draft of the

constitution of the Youth Centre and that we would meet as soon as that was ready. We could actually

have a dinner with his brother and Joe, so that everybody would know the others. David promised me

give me a call as the draft would be ready.

As David left my head was spinning. Not only was he gorgeous like a god, he had a twin brother and

they were both concerned with the welfare of youngsters in problems.

Joe had promised to pick me up to and see Granny and a little before midday he came through the

door. I asked him how everything had gone this morning at the office and he couldn't be more

pleased. Jason had accepted the offer and the necessary papers were signed. Officially Joe had now all

the time of the world to concentrate on the new project. He asked me about the lawyer and I told him

everything there was. As I was describing David, Joe stopped me and said to shut my mouth because I

was drooling. He was joking, but didn't have a clue how close he was to the truth. I told him about the

dinner plan with the twins and he agreed wholeheartedly. But we had to hurry up. When you were

invited at Granny's, you'd better be on time. She hated people who arrived late, being it for an

appointment or anything else. She had said 12:30 and we had only 7 minutes left to arrive, park the

car and ring the bell. We actually did in six minutes and a half.

Granny welcomed us with open arms. She hugged me, then she looked at Joe, holding him at arms

distance and after a few seconds she just said "yes" and pulled him in a hug as well. I knew what it

meant as I had seen her doing that in the past. She needed just an intense look in the eyes to have an

idea who she had in front of her. We went to sit in comfortable chairs next to the window, over-

viewing the square. First we had some small talk and then she came down to business, asking about

the financial situation of the project. Joe told her what he had told me and just like me she had a tear

in her eye. When he was finished she looked at the both of us and said:

  • I can't change a thing about the mansion and the refurbishment of it, but you still have to set up the

legal part of the Youth Centre, right?

Joe just nodded.

  • Just tell me how much the mansion is worth and how much money you've put in it to get it back in

shape.

Joe told her the figures and I could see Granny was making some mental notes.

  • Ok, that's settled than. I'll put the same amount of money on behalf of Steve and I want it mentioned

in the set-up of the Youth Centre. I guess you have a lawyer now, isn't it?

I had a big smile on my face and told her "yes, we have".

  • Good, I'll make the necessary calls to have all that on paper so we can sign it and I can transfer the

money.

Joe was speechless. The value of the mansion was quite a huge and having suddenly that same

amount to make the Centre work was beyond belief. Suddenly there were a whole bunch of new

possibilities. What Joe had put off to a further date for completion, were just possible right now. As

for me I was flabbergasted, as I knew Granny had quite some money, but I didn't know she could

afford this! As I was about to say something, Granny just cut me short before I could even open my

mouth.

  • Don't say a word, Stevie; I know what I am doing. I maybe old, but I am not senile and just as I told

you before, I prefer you to have that money now instead of waiting for me to pass away to be able to

use it. As I see you want to make this work, you have now the means to do so.

She looked at both of us now, saying:

  • I also know that you will need a lot of funds to help these poor young boys and girls. The money I

am putting in will not last forever and I decided to help you with that as well. I know quite a lot of

people and will organize funds-raising evenings as long as my health allows me to. You will see, it is a

lot of fun actually. I did it before so I know.

You could actually see that Granny was already having fun and probably had quite some ideas in her

head.

The days and weeks flew by as in a blur. We had so much to do and so many people to see that we

almost had no time to ourselves. David called me to say he had the draft of the set-up, with the new

inputs of Granny and we met to go over it. We just changed a few minor details and he could make an

official document out of it. The constructor at the mansion called us to say everything was done and

we took Granny to the mansion for her to see it and even, in a certain way, have her blessing about it.

We met David's brother and it was impossible to keep them apart, till David mentioned a little birth

mole under his left ear. From then on it started to be easier. Joe had a big interview at a local radio

station about the whole project and from the phone calls that came in just after the program, we could

say it had been a tremendous success. Both Joe and I emptied our apartments of personal things and

rented them out. We moved to the mansion so we could be there on a permanent basis. Jason turned

out to be the perfect choice to run Joe's company so that Joe decided not to sell it anymore, but to

leave it in Jason's capable hands.

As the mansion was completely ready and we had received the necessary permits from the Fire

Department, we decided to have a grand opening with the most important people from Town Hall and

the social services. Quite a few reporters were invited to, and not only the ones from the local papers.

Granny was there as well and had invited a few important people she knew and she made sure we

were properly introduced and that we exchanged cards and contact details. The evening was a huge

success and the comments in the next day's papers were the living proof of it. We even hit a headline

in the town's most important newspaper. This was even better than a free advertisement.
