In the middle of the dark, a dim light illuminating Jay's room, he stirred wide awake, announcing, "Nature call!" to anyone around listening.

Always sleeping flat on his back, Jay moved his hinged head towards the part of his bed not facing the wall, again making his plea.

Still no response, Jay figured he would try it on his own, something he hasn't done in a long, long time. Clawing at the covers, he manages to get himself into a roll, shoulder coming off the bed.

"Dammit!" he fell back in failure. His reserve tank wasn't taking `no' for an answer!

Not giving up, doing the clawing thing again, this time Jay works his way down to the mattress. Such were the pangs of pissing, he worked his nails under the edge along the thin piping, exclaiming. "Oh good," happily finding a handle, made into the side, it's purpose to lift. He heralded his efforts, doing a complete flip, but then was scared shit when things escalated, a downhill surge sending him to the floor!

Because the house was as quiet as a church, a thud of such velocity traveled. Immediately footsteps could be heard outside of Jay's room.

"Oh my god!" Jared panicked, seeing Jay lying on the floor.

All he could think of, is not who was supposed to be taking care of him, but Jay himself, "What happened to you?" he goes to scoop Jay up.

However, Pete, with nothing on, warns, "No, you shouldn't pick him up!"

"What?" Jared poses to Pete.

"He could have broken something." Then, seeing a cell phone lying on a side table, Pete picks it up, "I think we should call an ambulance."

He was right, Jared thought, going on his own first reaction, turning back to his brother, petting his hair, "Are you feeling okay, bro?"

"I wish," Jay replies.

"What hurts?" Jared says in a concerned manner.

"Nothing. It's just that I'm lying here, with my balls crushed by the floor and I'm not feeling anything, except a growing need to piss?!"

Then it dawns on Jared, with Jay joking, "Where's Jeffry?"

"Beats me," Jay says.

"Watch him," Jared says to Pete.

Sweetly, Pete says, "Things are going to be all right. Just remain calm, sweetie," he swipes a hand softly over Jay's back.

Calm was not the feeling, when Jared walks into Jay's toliet room, seeing Jeffry and Dan, in each other's arms, in the tub. The water had apparently drained out, but the two never noticed, being asleep.

"Wake up, you bastards!" Jeffry took the blow of Jared's hand, slapped to the back, since being rolled over on top of Dan.

"Uh-oh," Pete says.

Jay tells him, "I'm fine. Go, before Mt. St. Helens erupts!"

"Sounds like its too late," Pete quips, pressing hands on the floor to stand.

Jay wasn't at all perturbed about the position he was in. He knew at times he would fall, picking himself up. Yet, it would be something of a feat, not having the facilities to do so, so he would just lie there until someone came. Being in a casual mood, having been `found', when Pete jumped up. Able to do a slight pushup off the floor, Jay got a kick out of watching balls bounce, cock bobbing up and down!

According to Pete, Jared manhandling both Dan and Jeffry, more of the blame was being put on, "I can't believe you're friends with Joseph. Wait till I see him!"

Not a physical person when upset, which in respects, his brother's dilemma has taught him patience, this was a rage of a different kind. Pete exhibits his own kind of justice, putting Jared in a full nelson, while rationalizing, "Killing them won't serve any purpose, but to get you into trouble with the law, Jared."

It seems, Dan and Jeffry taking their leave made Jared calm down, the visual means for his rage out of sight... out of mind, but not completely, "I can't believe it... Jeffry was watching Jay... Was supposed to be."

"What's done is done. Forget about it, Jared. Main thing is Jay and the paramedics should be here soon."

Then, in a downhill spire, as his arms were still pinned, "It's all my fault."

Realizing he could release Jared, Pete takes to spinning himself about, from Jared's back, to front, "How is any of this your fault?" he was keen also, to walk Jared back into the room where Jay lay on the floor, saying, "Jared says this is all his fault!"

"How so?" Jay responds in a chipper manner. "You didn't do anything Jare. If it was anyone's fault, it was mine for..." Jay puts on a sour face, "Sorry, but I pissed on the floor," His face was beet red!

Timely comment, as he says it, the doorbell rings.

"Will you get that Pete?" Jared requests.

Pete tried looking around for something, on the way to the door. He could have ducked into Jared's room, but instead it was easier to pick up the throw rug, blot out his pubes, before pulling the door open.

"Zoon residence?" the paramedic says, eyes going to the oriental rug.

Pete didn't get the connection, just acknowledging `yes'. He had seen the one of the three paramedics at the club, daring to say, "Aren't you the one who stuck a 50 in my pouch?"

It took a minute, the seriousness of the matter turning subtle, a smile doting the face, "I think it was you, though you had a little more on than right now?"

Pushing right by, Phil Holt says of his brother, "Gary, in case you're wondering why we're here, we're not on pleasure?"

"Oh right," Gary says. "Sorry `bout that."

Pete wasn't, yet since then, feeling Gary's hand position the fifty dollar bill under the thin lace of his g-string, it left a different impression on his mind. Meeting up with a guy after leaving a big tip, the large sum often meant a hook up after the night is over. When he thought on it, Pete also revisited thoughts, like he hadn't had sex with a guy like Jared, in a long, long time, knowing it could lead to something more. Now, as Gary had presented, he could make it more in his past-history sense, cut loose and begin a new trend.

Then he got hit by the third paramedic entering, "Oh, could you take this please?"

"Sure," Pete read off the badge, "no problem, `Justin!'"

Whether he was gay or not, having recalled Gary Holt, he was sure this was the other guy with Gary.

"I sort of know you," Justin says, handing Pete an oxygen tank.

While in Jay's room, watching Gary and Justin go to work, the other Holt brother appears, "Hey, Justin, you got a dog, you would know this," Phil asks, "what takes pee out of a rug?"

"Seltzer water and lots of paper towels, if you got any?" Justin says, getting ready to roll Jay over onto a stretcher.

Turning back to the room, Phil mumbles, "It's going take a shitload of paper towels!"

Jared tried to help out, sopping up his brother's piss, but Phil claims, "I got it. You just take care of Jay."

Justin and Gary had checked Jay out, determined he didn't really do anything to hurt himself, except ego, trying to do something on his own, without human assistance.

Then, to brighten up the scene, Thor comes in. On his knees, sopping up, Phil gets licked on the side of the face. Rather than take it offensively, he turns out, from on hands and knees, to sitting, a bright smile on his face, "Oh, hi boy!" he pets Thor behind the ears.

As if no one else was in the room, Phil's hard exterior, gruff manner of professionalism melts, the two carrying on conversation, mental and aural, the two like old friends.

Jay says, "Thor won't bite," he steals a glance, the rug slipping.

"I could already tell that!"

Justin and Gary, deeming Jay out of any danger said they were going to pack up.

Phil tells them, "Why don't you run along and I'll stay and finish mopping up?"

Jared insists, "You don't need to."

Jay raps his brother hard in the side of the leg with his fist!

Feeling Jay's friendly animosity through the feeling in his leg, Jared says, "On second thought, I think we could use the help."

Of course, Jared got the death stare from Pete, but then understood, "For him, not me," Jared mouths the words to Pete, relieving pressure on the situation.

Phil asks, "I don't know if we can save the rug. Got anymore paper towels?"

"In the kitchen, I think," Jared leaves.

Pete says, "I better go help."

Phil just smiled, watching that lily-white ass walk out, throw rug dangling between!

"Thanks for doing that for me", Jay broke his concentration.

"Oh, it's nothing," Phil readjusted his focus.

"It's really my fault, because I couldn't get to the toliet in time," Jay starts up the small talk, saying anything cool with the moment.

Gary and Justin went to check things out, just now returning, Justin saying, "We've got the wagon all set, boss. Whenever you give the word."

"Thanks, bro," Phil says.

Jay asks, as the two pick him up by way of stretcher, looking Gary straight in the face, "Are you and Phil brothers?"

"You think we look alike?" Gary returns.

They did, according to Jay, but Phil was more the serious, down-to-earth character, Gary more the flake, but play along, "Sure. Almost twins!"

"Uh," Phil cuts in, "lets not make a faulty distinction here?"

With a flow of soft bickering, each brother boasting about the other, Jay got a better picture of each, even though he saved more info about Phil on the hardrive of his brain. Even though they looked close in age, he stored Phil's 26-years and some other info, like Gary claiming, even though Phil more intelligent, he was quick to react.

Which Phil claims, "Like, how you're working your biceps, Gary, instead of moving Jay out of the room?"

"I was just about to move my feet, Bozo!" Gary says.

It kind of reminded Jay of him and Jared and how they could be condescending towards each other, all in the name of mocking each other out in fun!

One of the few vehicles allowed on the roads, Jay was being ferried to the hospital in an ambulance, Phil in the back with him, Justin at the wheel, Gary beside him.

Pete was happy to learn Jared had a special permit, on account of Jay, to slowly roll his truck through the streets. Both vehicles took their time, with this not being a true emergency.

"Has this happened before?" Pete asks Jared.

"Jay? Nah," Jared replies, then suddenly on his mind, "but I expect, when someone assures me they are keeping an eye, they're keeping an eye and not playing around!"

Pete could see Jared's point, coupled with what he now knew, the devotion he had for his brother. He wouldn't feel any different, other than, "However, as you and I well know," Pete weasels his way up to Jared, "when two hot guys get together, sometimes there's no tearing them apart?" a hand slips down Jared's pec, sliding over the side of his abs.

"If you're trying to change my mind," Jared had to stutter a moment, searching the smiling face for an answer as to why he should bend, "it might be working!"

"I think I heard Pastor Mark talk once about throwing stones. Something like, if you've never goofed in your life, hurl it?"

Smirking, moving his head back and forth, Jared is bold to say, "I think this is one of the reasons I'm starting to dig you."

With a horrified look, Pete asks, "Like, dig my grave?"

"Get real," Jared says, parking and hopping out of the truck.

Close behind, Pete wanted to know more, "Like how did you mean it, is all I'm asking, Jared?"

"We'll talk about it later."

Though, Pete hoped there would be more than talk!

Right inside the emergency room doors, they were rolling Jay in, Jared and Pete coming through at the hospital entrance. It was an opportune moment to catch Phil Holt in the act, kissing one of the doctors on duty. At least, it's what Jared thought, the long white coat, covering who knows what, ginger `emo' haircut, darker red-haired beard, fully sculpted along the chops and dark-rimmed glasses, which Jared thought made the doc look sexy!

"Take care of him babe. I've got something to do," he hears Phil say to the doctor.

When Jared reports to Jay's side, first thing he says to his brother, "Hey, idiot, you lost a sock," he holds Jay's bare foot up to let him see!

"Don't do that, please," the doctor says.

"Oops!" Jared puts it down.

Said sternly, the doctor rethinks his harshness, "Might have something to do with his condition," and on lighter terms, breaks away from the examination long enough to extend a hand, "I'm Christopher Duffy. Sorry, but being on off hours, I'm the only physician available to check Jay out."

"Is that good or bad?" Jared replies.

"I think it's good."

"Then go to it, doc!"

While Dr. Duffy checks Jay out, Jay is applauding efforts, "Phil called Chris while we were on our way."

"Chris?" Jared questions Jay's informal attitude.

"You can call me Chris, too," Dr. Duffy says, "or Christopher. Whatever is your pleasure!"

Silent until now, Pete says, "Um, you mind if I answer that?"

Patting Pete on the ass, Jared replies, "I'm capable!"

Christopher asks, "Are you boyfriends? Partners?"

Pete takes this one, "Neither. We just met, but you never know!"

"Not the rate you're going Pete," Jay jokes, "trying to pick up the doc here!"

Pete seeks revenge, "I know you wouldn't be able to feel my hand on your ass, but I understand your chest isn't numb!"

Jared, seeing playfulness and not harm, offers, "Yeah and my bro's got some sensitiveness there, too!"

"Shut up Jare! You're supposed to be on my side!"

"Um, I can't get a pulse," Dr. Duffy says, "with all this jibberish?"

Jay says, "Well, I'm not dead, doc!"

Grabbing Pete's arm, Jared says, "We'll wait for your results in the waiting room, Dr. Duffy."

"Finally! Some quiet!" Jay says. However, more important to the 22-year old, was some solitude, while he checked out Dr. Duffy. Opening up some conversation, "Do you think I'll ever surf again?"

"You were a surfer, were you?"

"Yup. That's how I got this way," Jay replies, which set the stage towards telling the whole story of surfing on the Oregon coast, lying in the water while everyone swam towards him, telling something he thought of afterwards, "yeah, some hot guy had me in his arms and I didn't even know who it was!"

Standing at Jay's feet, staring up his bod at his face, Christopher says, "Some guys have all the luck!"

Now, fully knowing where Christopher stood, not immune to Phil's affectionate peck, Jay asks, "You and Phil, you got something going?"

"Had. Now we're friends. Just a second," he walks over and checks a vent.

Jay says, "I saw once in a movie, they pumped laughing gas through the vents to knock everyone out in the room."

"Lucky or unlucky for us, nothing is coming out, which means the A/C is down again. I hope you don't mind?" Christopher undoes one more button of the white shirt he wears underneath the lab coat.

"Take it all off, if you want!" Jay remarks!

"You would like that, would you, you little scalliwag!" he tickles Jay's rib.

Jay smiles, saying, "I can't feel that low." But then his face turns serious, "Wait a minute. Tickle me again, right in the same spot," he gets his hopes up!

Waving his hands around, Chris says, "Well, I don't know exactly where I..."

Impatiently, Jay demands, "Any place down there, dammit!"

Like a bumbling idiot, Chris gets to work, exclaiming, "Right away, sir. You got it!"

This was something for Jay, not even noticing Chris' shirt hanging open, sweat making his ginger hair inside the shirt, what was visible, shine like gold, as he leaned to check out, like a doctor would, probing abs and legs.

Jay then gives up, "Darned it. I thought I really felt something."

Seeing the murky look on Jay's adorable face, Chris says, "Tell you what I'm going to do. If your brother agrees, I'm going to keep you here overnight and do a complete workup of you tomorrow. Who knows what might turn up?"

"Really? You think so?"

"No promises, but it wouldn't hurt. Sometimes you feel something once and it takes moving around to feel it again," Chris assesses.

"Cool! Go get Jare... I mean, can you go get Jare?" Jay restates his thoughts a little kinder.

"That I will do."

Then it hit Jay, what he saw during his traumatic moment, the doc's uniform parted down the middle and because it was hot in the emergency room, the reason for seeing clear down to his stomach. Closing his eyes, Jay imagined seeing more, like Chris finding it way too hot in there, stripping his shirt completely. Then he was shook out of his sweet dream by Jared and Pete coming back.

Jared was just as delighted as his brother, saying, "So you felt something?"

Whether Jared was joking or not, Jay took it as such, "Not the way you're thinking, bro!"

"Of course," Jared was covering up his try at humor, "I meant your foot."

"My abs, moron!"

Pete knew the sense of humor, which could waft between the two, but it made Chris giggle, saying, "You're no better than my brother and I!"

"Is he older or younger?"

Chris had brought it up, now he had to face the music, "Right now it doesn't matter. He passed away as a result of a high school football injury."

Standing right above Jay, he reaches up, touches Chris` arm, saying, "I'm so, so sorry Chris." Then it happened, what commences every now and then when Jay hears something extremely happy or sad, eyes tear up and he gets the sniffles.

"There he goes again," Jared says of it, though not in a way he's stirring up fun.

Coming around to the side, Chris sweetly wipes away a tear with his thumb, "That's nothing to be ashamed about. Empathy can be a strength to one's nature."

"Is that what it is?" Jay asks.

Jared shares, "We've been trying to figure it out for awhile."

They are all surprised when Pete joins in on the `seminar', "You can try, but you can't control it. It just happens."

"Is that right?" Jared asks Pete, like digging for a reason how come he knows so much!

"I've read up on it," Pete replies, not sharing what happened to his brother.

Then, they were disrupted by a knock on the door already open. Coming in, from the waiting room, Dan leads, "Um, we're like really sorry for not watching Jay?" said in a tone of yearning for forgiveness.

"You should be," Jared says, ranting and raving about how their negligence put Jay in the hospital.

It was strange, Jay thinking, the two, Jeffry and Dan, standing side by side, didn't they make a hot looking couple? Still partial towards having them as friends, Jay says, "Why don't you cut them a break, Jare. I mean, you were young once too!"

Turning around to face his brother, Jared says, "I still am young!"

Pete agrees, "Jay's right. After all, no real harm has been done."

"Maybe even some help, if Jay is feeling something," Chris puts his 2 cents in!

He really wanted to forgive and forget and basing it on what Chris has said, "Okay, but next time, if there is a next time, I expect either of you to stay parked right in front of Jay."

Because he wasn't there to see, Jay asks, "By the way, where were you guys?"

Dan and Jeffry look to each other, neither wanting to confess.

Quicker than them, Jared spells out the truth, "I found them cuddling in the bathtub, with probably their semen washed down the drain!"

"Cool!" Jay replies.

"Sounds sexy," Pete says of it. "Maybe we should try it sometime, Jared!"

"There you all go, against me again," Jared speculates. Looking over towards the doc, "Nothing to say, Chris?"

"Nah. For once I'm minding my own business!" His business was making sure no more tears cascaded down Jay's lovely cheeks and had coiled his soft locks around a finger, making little curly-Q's.

"Giving Jay a perm there, Chris?" Dan says, walking over towards Jay.

None could be more surprised than Dan, leaning over Jay and giving him a peck on the lips, "Sorry for ignoring you to get it on with Jeffry. I guess my balls overruled what was right."

Jay smiles, saying, "Well, I want to know every steamy detail, Dan!"

"Me too!" Chris agrees.

Jeffry, stepping over in the vicinity, says, "The steamy details are okay, but the outcome we think is more important."

It was like pieces of a puzzle coming to a dead end, no one able to guess, Pete provoking, "Which is?"

A smile on Jeffry's face, he says, "Dan and I did some talking and we're thinking of dating."

"Oh," Jay just said, thinking his little teddy bear cub was going to be his. But then, looking up the arm which has been playing with his hair for the past 15 minutes, he says, "That's awesome guys, but I still want to know the steamy part!"

"Me too!" Chris says, looking at Jay and licking his lips.

It made Jay feel like he had respond physically. Not being able to sit up, he slips a hand over Chris` 5 digits, saying, "Cool, tonight Dan and Jeffry and Jare and Pete became couples," but left out the fact he wished it could be the same for him and Chris, but what stood in his way, even though Chris already proved he could be kind, considerate and caring, the fact, he was a doctor and went through medical school and all that's attached to get to the position he is in, he has to be considerably older. Unafraid to say anything, he looks up, "How old are you, Chris?"

"Very old. Don't I look it?"

He was being facetious. In college they thought he was the same age as Doogie, fictional `kid' doctor. Chris wasn't putting on any airs and the fact he was acting more like a casual guy, rather than a stuffy, philosophical type, Jay looked upon Chris as more of a guy he could get to like, which is why he burst right out with, "Hey, after I get out of the hospital, you wanna go on a date?"

"I'd like that, except, as the rules go, I'm not supposed to be picking up my patients," Chris smiles.

Jay rationalizes, "Rules are only right for part of the time. There's always that 10% you have to bend them for?"

He likened the way Jay put it, wanting to include him in that percentile rating, "Well," Chris says sneakily, "how about we meet someplace, like Kermit's Nook and then we can say we met outside the hospital."

To see what Chris says about this, Jay quips, "But I'll still be your patient?"

With rude attitude, Chris says, "Hey, after you're discharged, I don't know you from Adam!"

Getting it, Jay replies, "Adam who? You don't have a partner, do you?"

"No, I don't have a partner, and I didn't mean Adam, like in a `real' person."

"I know," Jay says, "that Adam is a fake, but I was wondering why you haven't hooked up with a guy yet?"

Folding his arms across his middle, Chris asks, "Why would you think that?"

"I dunno," Jay acts casual, "maybe because you're so damn cute?"

"That'll do it," Chris replies, though he returned the compliment, sheepish grin, like he's been embarrassed to death!

The attendant at the desk calls Chris over to tell him a room was ready for Jay.

In turn, Chris told Jay the same. Instead of calling on an orderly to ferry Jay up to the third floor, Chris provided the service, saying, "I pulled some strings to..."

"G-strings?" Jay cuts in.

Getting back at Jay, Chris tells him, "How could I, when I don't know you that well?"

A tiring subject for Jay, he returns with, "Well, if and when you do get to touch me there, I'm warning you, it doesn't work, on account of I can't feel anything, except when I gotta go pee!"

Joking around, but being serious, because he had a hunch about something, Chris says, "I'll have to include that part of the anatomy in my examination!"

"Even though... I'd like that," Jay says. He couldn't feel, but he could sure imagination Chris' hands on his cock and balls!

"You're not the only one!" Chris remarks, pushing Jay into an elevator.

Chris talked on about how nice the room Jay headed for. In doing so, Jay didn't dwell on it, but rather starved for a certain kind of affection, how he liked a dude surfing his tube, he only could picture Chris performing an examination on his lower half.

It's then he suddenly blurts out, "Wait! Stop the elevator!"

He does and in doing so, Chris changes from cheerful to horrors, "Oh, right, we forgot about your brother. I'll turn us right back around and..."

"No, wait! It's not that!" Jay exclaims.

Normally, a person tagging another would be at the same height, grabbing at a sleeve. Lying down is another story, Jay caught up in the excitement of any part of his bod which felt sensation, crumbles the fabric of Chris' baggy hospital pants, "I think I felt something!"

It was happy news, but also, "Trust me, you're not the only one feeling `something'!"

Realizing he's reached out and touched very close to Chris' crotch, Jay does a crunch, noticing his fault, slowly opening his hand, "Uh, sorry." He lays right back down.

Sure, it felt cool, a disturbance in the force, the tension of pants tugging at his wares, but Chris was also astounded, "I think you're putting me on?" he pushes the button to return to the lobby.

"About what?" Jay acts adamantly, in disbelief Chris didn't believe he felt some kind of movement with his balls, or happening so fast and surprising, it could have been his cock twitching?

Forgetting about himself for the moment, Chris says, "You sat up," carrying on in layman terms, "which means maybe your spine is healing?"

"No, I can't do stuff like that. It must've been me pulling on your pants, that's all... which I'm sorry if I messed with your junk."

Right now Chris didn't care about his junk... well, he did, but more important to him, "Here, grab my hands," he stood at the bottom of the stretcher, leaning his long arms up Jay's legs.

"I can't reach."

"You can if you try?"

"I can't even reach your fingertips," Jay claims.

Rolling his eyes, Chris says, "If I lean over any more, my face is going to be in your crotch!"

Being dead serious, Jay revives his humor at realizing the imposition, "I wouldn't want to make you do anything you would regret, Chris. By the way, you pushed the `down' button, but we're not going down?"

So caught up in Jay, Chris had not realized, "That's right," he drops his hands, standing up. Approaching the panel, he presses down again, with no results.

"Press `up'," Jay suggests.

Chris pushes `up', with no results. Turning around abruptly, saying, "Only 2 floors and we're stuck between. Eventually someone will realize the doors not opening on either end."

"Kind of like life," Jay says, leaving a blank stare on Chris' face.

"I don't see the assimilation?" Chris drops his hands to the piped rim of the stretcher.

"I suppose I should be as concerned about getting out of here, as you are?"

Knowing how claustrophobic situations can be, especially caught in an out of service elevator, a stigma Chris can relate to, "Y'know, I've got my stethoscope," he picks up the end from the midchest region. "I could start your exam, instead of wasting time?"

"Okay," Jay is all for it, "but just warm it up with your breath, so it's not so cold on my chest?"

"You don't have to take your shirt off. I can do it right through the material?" Chris replies.

But Jay `wanted' to have his shirt off, it being the only part of his bod he could feel, except, wishful thinking, the doc would kiss him... "I would if I could."

"Would if you could, what?"

Jay says, "Take my shirt off."

"Have you ever tried?" Chris moves from Jay's feet, to his side.

"Not really. No. Never. Another dude has to do it for me."

Chris waits, like he's thinking. He was, but decided to let Jay think for himself!

After a short duration, Jay says, "Um, did you forget you're going to check my heartbeat?"

A plot to his `madness', Chris says, "As soon as you take off your shirt?"

Suddenly, the bitterness Jay felt about his predicament, literally grounded from surfing, returns, "I can't, damn it!"

Meant to stir Jay's heartbeat up, in a different way, Chris takes the tail of the 22-year old's tee shirt, musses it till it flies up to just below Jay's pecs, "Fuck that shit, just do it!"

Sneering, Jay replies, "You're not a nice doctor!"

Bobbing his head back and forth on his shoulders, Chris sasses Jay back, "And you're a spoiled little brat!"

Caving in, the banter a little too much for Jay, he pouts, "I am?"

"What I really think," Chris musters up, "is for too long people have been doing for you, what you could be doing for yourself and the more people do for you, the less and less you do for yourself. It's a downhill spire, that if you do not address sooner than later, you'll never be able to be your own man. You'll always need someone around to take care of you."

Thinking on it, Jay says, "But I want someone around to take care of me?"

"Don't we all... Don't you want to take care of your man?"

Jay lightens up, "There's nothing wrong with my hands?"

"Great. If you can jerk with a man's cock, then you can use them to take your shirt off!"

Jay could see the doc's point. Perhaps he was speaking the truth. Admitting it, Jay grabs up the edge of his tee shirt. Pulling it up, he got it above his neck, but masked in his face tighter than The Green Hornet, "Wanna help?"

Chris could see he also pinned in his arms, was confident Jay could work things out, "No." It also sparked his mind about the smooth chest, following right down to the happy trail, but kept his attention on the matter at hand.

"I think I'm stuck."

"Then get unstuck!"

"How?"

"What'r you, a moron? Figure it out!"

"No," Jay figures it out, reversing the trend, and in a blaming tone, "I'm not a moron, stoopid," He sweeps his shirt right back down over his abs!

"Back to where we started," Chris remains stealth.

"What am I supposed to do?" Jay looses confidence, again pouting.

"Think," Chris replies. He hints, "If you can't do both, try one at a time?"

He hadn't thought of it, saying, "That was my next move," Jay began lassoing his head, popping one arm out of the sleeve of his tee.

"I thought so," Chris didn't believe it so, giving Jay the benefit of the doubt. "Next?"

"Don't be so pushy," Jay replies, scooping the shirt up over the other arm, which acts like a slingshot, catapulting his shirt clear overhead, hitting the elevator wall and falling straight down.

Chris goes too far, "I hope you don't expect me to pick your tee up off the floor?"

"No," Jay says with sarcasm, "I'm going to use my levitation powers and bring it right back to me!"

Bending over, Chris picks it up and tosses it between Jay's legs.

"Would've been sweet," Jay says.

Well knowing what two men can do, one haunched over, "Don't think I'm not on to you?" Chris fixes his hospital shirt from riding up when he bent over.

"Yeah," Jay making the connection, "I would if I could!"

"And you won't, if you don't!"

"Okay. I get the message. You don't have to like, beat it to death!"

Saying that, the elevator gives a jolt, Chris stating, "Oh goody."

"Yeah, right," Jay says, "now you don't have to put up with the big brat!"

"You're not a big brat," Chris replies. "You're a little brat!"

"Big? Little? What's the difference?"

Reading into this, Chris says, "Hm-m, would I like to find out!"

"You're sick," Jay tells him, the elevator picking up speed.

Soon as the doors open up to the lobby, there's Jared, "Jay! Are you okay?" he rushes in.

"Oh, he's just fine," Chris replies.

Jared, picking up Jay's tee shirt, says, "Oh, I bet he is!"

However, he wasn't jovial, as if he had seen what had taken place, assuming, "Easy to take advantage of a guy who's flat on his back?!"

"Oh my god, Jare! Will you fuckin' lighten up?"

Even Chris honed in on him, "Yeah, will fuckin' lighten up, like, nothing happened?"

Changing the subject faster than the seasons, Jay says, "I don't suppose you'd be interested to know I took my shirt off all by myself?"

"Yourself?" Jared starts to mellow out, looking to Chris, "I don't suppose you had help?"

Meant to send a message, Chris says, "I didn't touch your brother."

Other than the flip of the tail of his shirt, Chris had a point, Jay saying, "In fact, I almost, accidentally, touched Chris!"

Acting cool, embarrassed by the tables being turned, Jared says, "I'm sure whatever Jay did, was... an accident?"

"Nope!" Jay grabs Jared's attention, "I got so horny, I reached right out and groped Chris."

He hadn't caught on by now, but throwing around the doctor's first name, not in respect calling him rightfully, Jared says, "Well I certainly hope the doctor saw didn't terribly mind?"

"Oh, it was a terrible experience, I can assure you," Chris retorts!

With that out of the way, Jared asks, "Well, what's next?"

"What's next?" Chris gets mixed signals.

"My room with the great view?" Jay suggests.

Meanwhile, over at Jeffry's pad, where he sacked out with the rest of the HOODWINK'd crowd of dudes, Dan and Jeffry have been hashing and rehashing over their behavior, which has gotten them thrown out of Jay's house by his `over-reactive' brother.

"He had every right to throw us out," Jeffry says, sipping tea.

"I feel ungrateful, after Joseph told me how supportive Jay was, even when it looked like the cards were stacked against me," Dan tells.

"I know," Jeffry says, "I was there. I thought the same."

"Oh really?" Dan looks upon this as `bonding'.

Seeing a glitter in Dan's eyes, Jeffry replies, "I meant, if Jay thought it was cool, I thought so too."

"In other words, if it was good enough for Jay, it was good enough for you, though you really did think I stole the dude's wallet?"

Jeffry confesses, "Right. What you thought, I thought, but I don't think that now."

Dan had to admit to himself, after spending time bobbing his bod up and down in the tub and abruptly waking up with Jeffry, in the buff, face to face, it was too hot of an experience to hold a grudge, "I forgive you. You can get up off your knees!"

"I'm not on my knees, but maybe later?" Jeffry smiles.

Later was cool, but right now Dan's mind was on, "What are we going to do about Jay?"

Jeffry thinks, "Hm-m, I don't think it's as much with Jay as with Jared?"

"Right," Dan agrees, "which maybe if you get on your knees for him?" he wore a cagey grin!

"I don't think Jared's into bears," Jeffry honestly opinions, "more the smooth, blond, slim type?" he countered Dan's sneaky expression, eyeing the slim blond from head to where the kitchen table cut off his view.

The smile slowly dissipating, Dan reacts, "Perhaps," he suddenly becomes scholarly, "if we both go to him?"

Jeffry sarcastically states, pointing to Dan, "I knew there were some brains in that dumb-blond head of yours!"

"Oh really?" Dan doesn't question necessarily the size of his brain, but another size particle, "So, all that sweet talk from before was from down here," he fondles Jeffry's privates, under the table with his sock, "and not," slides fingertips slides fingertips across the table, "here?" he tweaks the left nip!

"Oooh, you really know how to push a man's buttons!" he cracks a half-smile.

Dan's foot still lingering, he comments, "I wonder how I can tell?"

"Oh stop! Oh stop!" Jeffry is really hoping Dan doesn't stop with the hands and foot!

Reading his mind, Dan replies, "Like, you really want me to Jeffry?!"

"Okay, don't stop!"

Dan stops! He smiles.

"Sure, after you went and got me hard!"

From leaving the club, to ferrying Jay home, the bathtub scene, water helping to bob his bod up and down, open mouth, gulping Jeffry down, but not without reciprocation, it has all struck Dan as being totally wrong about accepting a chubby guy, "I know what we can do about it, Jeffry!" Dan backs away from the table.

Rubbing his hands together, not that it's been a vengeful act, just wishful thinking, "Oh man, I have always wanted to take advantage of a hot otter!"

"Otter?" Dan asks.

With a smile, Jeffry teases, "Dumb blond!"

Right now, Jeffry wasn't the only one all horned up, Dan forgetting about the name calling, with more important matters at hand, "Where's your bedroom?"

Back at the hospital, while Jared did up some paperwork, `deja vu', he was thinking on Jeffry and Dan, how they tried to make amends, and...

Upstairs, Chris was making Jay comfortable, "How do you like it?"

Gazing out the second story, top floor window, Jay replies, "Awesome!"

What Chris didn't realize, included in Jay's assessment, was the reflection, lying his head to the side to take on the view.

"I thought so," Chris states, thinking much the same!

Then, as Jay looks up, to Chris' reflected face, Chris connects, laughing as he says, "Nice we both like the view!"

Chris had to whole-heartedly agree, having to look horizontally across Jay's bod, to look out.

It's Jay who realizes Chris giving him the `once over', from about knees to chin, lamenting, "I'm never going to be what a man wants another man to be for him," he turns his head back to the window.

Placing a hand on a hip, Chris says pompously, "Oh, so you're a mind reader, are you?"

Smirking, Jay, wishing it could be different, turns back, "You're so gay, Chris!"

"I am, am I?" he slaps a hand down on Jay's chest.

"One of the places I `can' feel and it feels good."

"Oh really?" Chris replies, sliding his hand down, tucking it under Jay's new hospital shirt, moving it back up.

"Do you make it a practice of manhandling all of your patients?"

Chris, still exploring, right up between Jay's pecs, his wrist taking the tee with him, "Only the men!"

Jay could stop him, but he wasn't loco, "Good to have that information!"

Then, just as they are getting to know each other, there is a knock at the door.

"Oh shit!" Chris bellows out, slipping his hand out of Jay's shirt and giving it a taut pull down over his abs!

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, doctor?"

If Jay had only knew, the two in an off and on open relationship, he would not have tried a coverup, "Um, Dr. Duffy was just checking my vital signs!"

"Was he now? So, Doc, how are they? Vital?"

Rather than answer anymore questions, Chris introduces, "Jay, this Eric Haert, whose job it is, to provide healing music on his guitar, to help relieve a patient's stress, while bedridden at the hospital."

Jay could swear it were his favorite porn star, Tommy Defendi, working the guitar from hanging at his back, over a shoulder. He didn't know if Tommy could sing, but with the ginger-brown beard, emo-styled haircut and from what he could see, bluish eyes, he was dead ringer...

Outside the room a few seconds ago, Eric had searched the plastic pocket for the patient's vitals. Not finding any charts, he wasn't sure if the patient were male, female, age, etc., things he banked on when choosing a song. Upon entering, he quickly changed from `The Sound of Music', to singing, "Love me tender, love me sweet..."

Chris says, "Elvis is dead, Eric!"

"Elvis who?" Jay asks.

Having received the brush off over the slick crooner's signature song, Eric quits that tune, reverting back to a country number, "Oh shenandoah, I'm doomed to wander..." he wanders over towards Jay!

Chris jokes, "Watch him Jay, his hands have been known to wander away from the frets!"

Stopping midsong, Eric says, "That was so mean and rotten, Chris," he sticks his tongue out!

Eric was facing Jay, Chris stepping behind Eric, placing his chin on Eric's shoulder, saying, "I know, because I'm an evil dude with a cruel heart!"

Jay smiles, seeing Chris place his arms around Eric's middle, in between his bod and guitar, remarking, "Are you two lovers or something?"

Eric strums a chord, saying, "Wow. You have gaydar!"

"No, dah, Eric," Chris replies, turning to Jay, "Smart boy, isn't he?"

`No only that!' Jay had thoughts of his own, agreeing, "Yeah, real insight Eric!"

"So," Eric rested his strumming arm on the stretcher, twiddling his fingers over Jay's kneecap, "when does Chris plan on getting you into a bed?"

"Why?" Chris connects, "So you can lullaby Jay to sleep, Eric?"

"It crossed my mind," Eric says, skiing his fingertips down the inner side of Jay's leg.

Of which Jay could not feel a thing, he makes eye connection with Chris, telling, "Careful or you'll give me a raging hardon, Eric!"

"Yeah, Eric," Chris busts on him too, "housekeeping has enough work as it is, without having to clean up after you too!"

Tit for tat, Eric responds, sweeping right past his sometimes lover, "Between you and me, Chris can produce, but not more than this man can handle," Eric stands proud!

"He's so into himself," Chris replies. Then, addresses his guitar-friend, "Want to lose the guitar for a minute and give me a hand, Eric?"

"Sure. Why not?" though Eric thought it not a total loss, having to pinch-hit for an orderly, reaping the benefits of manhandling the handsome patient!

Taking a few minutes, it gave Jay the chance to `hit on' Eric, finding out he's been a freelance guitarist since leaving music school, but not a whiz at promoting himself.

"I didn't know Kermit's Nook had live music?" Jay questions.

"Didn't, until I opened my mouth," Eric replies.

Chris says, "And Eric, he can have a big mouth!"

Jay throws in an open-ended question, "Do you like to French kiss?"

Placing both hands on Jay's ankles, since he was in charge of moving the lower half, Eric says, "Whenever you're ready, my cherie!"

"I meant do you and Chris like to?" Jay throws it off, trying to tie down what kind of relationship existed.

Eric says, "Kind of a personal question?"

Chris flatly says, "Not much. Eric is more into getting head and not much into foreplay."

Playing it cool, Jay tells them, "I like both!"

Misinterpreting Jay's statement, Eric says, "Cool. I can get into an open relationship!"

Jay has second thoughts, thinking out loud, reeling in Chris' direction, "You two are in a relationship?"

"On and off," Chris replies.

Not opposed to at least having 2 new friends, Jay says, "Well, whenever either one of you are off, I can be on!"

Right there at Jay's side, Chris says, "He's cute, huh Eric?"

"Very," Eric replies, hanging heavy on the first syllable.

Their playful attitude came to a halt, a knock on the door, Dan sticking his head in, Jeffry's chin on top of Dan's head, jaw dropping, "Okay with you dudes, if come in?"

Right through the corridor of Eric and Chris, Jay is welcoming, but with conviction, "Jare had a cow over you two, you know?"

Jeffry, butting his stomach up against Dan's back, literally pushing him inside, says, "We'd be surprised if it wasn't a whole litter!"

Dan pleads, "We're sorry, if it still means anything?"

Eric, whose eyes have patrolled Dan's bod from top to bottom, offers his condolences, "Would sure mean a lot to me!"

On him, nicely, Jeffry replies, "Dan, he's with me."

"Well," Eric replies, "I guess that closes the door!" he giggles.

However, with Jay, whereas he had high hopes for something more with Jeffry, turns to Chris for guidance, "So, what's next, Dr. Duffy?"

Chris looks down at Jay with soft regard, having felt a hand touch his, fingers entwined, "Getting you situated in a proper bed for the night?"

"We can help?" Dan offers.

Meanwhile, Jeffry had taken up to asking the guitar player all about his instrument!

With handling the transition from stretcher to hospital bed, Chris saw it as negligence, if something should happen while Dan helped him transport Jay, but gave Dan the duty of keeping the stretcher from rolling away, even though he nonchalantly secured the wheel locks, "Ready? 1.. 2.. 3!"

"That was sneaky!" Jay says of Chris, pulling a pad which was under him, making the switch easy as pie.

Pulling on his sleeves for effect, Chris replies, "Oh, I've got more than a magician up my sleeves, just you wait!"

Having learned a thing or two from Jeffry, about Jay, Dan says, "Only up your sleeves, doc?" he stares purposely at where Chris' shirt was parted.

Feeling conscious of Dan's staring, Chris buttons up the long stream of shirt fasteners, "Oh, it must've come undone when I pulled Jay over."

Dan looks to Jay, giving a smirk, like he knew otherwise!

Covering for Chris, Jay says, "You better watch yourself, Chris. People will think you're trying to flirt with me!"

When they walked into the room, by Eric's actions, suspect of his gay nature, it was obvious. Now, with Dan checking out Jay's doctor, getting a feel for things, leaving it a little vague, "Oh really?"

Reading Dan's assumption, Jay takes things a step further, "Yeah, the good doctor here has a fine sheathing of fur from neck to navel!"

It was Chris' turn to turn traitor, "Oh really, Jay? Aren't you the snoopy one?"

"The plumbing might not be working, but it doesn't stop me from getting horny, Chris!"

Deep in thought, Dan is suddenly awakened, by Jay, saying, "Not like them two!"

Turning around, Dan is appalled, "Jeffry, what the fuck?"

Claiming innocence, Jeffry, guitar under his pecks, Eric's hands on the guitar, sandwiching the cub in between man and musical instrument, he stands up for himself, "What? Eric is just showing me a few chords!"

Familiar to Eric, "Yeah, so don't bust your g-string!" he laughs.

Funny or not, not to Dan, the others laugh, Dan being serious, "Standing behind Jeffry, Eric? Is it putting a strain on `your' g-string?"

"A little," Eric replies.

Regardless, even though it felt cool having Eric hug both him and guitar, Jeffry breaks from the hold, "Sorry, Eric, but I wasn't feeling much!" Walking over and throwing an arm over Dan's shoulder, he twirls them both around, facing Jay, "So are we okay with the apology?"

"Fine with me," Jay tells them, "but it's my brother who has the real grudge against you two!"

They had talked about it, had no inhibitions by which means to make up, Dan says, "We've figured out how to smooth things over with Jared."

Chris, following the conversation, gestures and vocal inflections, can only guess, "Can we watch?"

Slow, Jay replies, "You're going to smooth things over with Jare, by offering sex?"

Jeffry answers, "Do you think he'll go for it?"

"That's your business, but let me give you a tip," Jay clues them in, "throw Joey in the package and you shouldn't have a problem!"

Jay had recalled how he and Jake fell under Master Bartosz' spell at bdsm night at the club. After Joseph and Jared had bailed them out, saving mostly Jake from having his balls stretched lower, the two received a tongue-lashing, Joseph going into a dramatic scenario, meant to scare the shit out of them, telling of not only ball torture, but swollen nips, striped backs, and if you were lucky, a cock up the ass and not a fist or arm! When he and his best bud escaped from Joseph's speech, they were scared shit, thinking of something happening, which would keep them from sitting down for at least a week!

Dan had briefly met the man he had heard rumors about, now, with Jay's inside info, "They say Joseph can be ruthless when he has to, but so far I haven't seen it."

True, Joseph, built like a giant muscle-bear, wearing leather garments most of the time, to anyone he would look like a staunch character, ready to give any man a bruising. As Dan and others who knew him personally, Joseph wasn't anything like the character he portrayed, unless a person got on his bad side.

"You don't know Joey, like me and Jare know Joey," Jay says with conviction.

Giving Dan's opposite shoulder a squeeze, Jeffry calls attention, "Maybe we should get to know Joey and Jared better?"

Then that was it, the two walking out, in deep thought!

"Nice guys," Eric says, though his cock was loving being so close to the back of Jeffry's pants.

"Right," Jay replies. "Um, when are you going to play me some healing music? I gotta get up and take a piss soon!"

Eric did play `Love Me Tender', but it wasn't anything like Elvis. More like a high-pitched tenor, with a country twang. On the last note strummed, he stood right above Jay's side.

Other side of the bed, Chris had felt melancholy enough to pick up Jay's hand and hold it softly with his two, "That was beautiful, Eric."

"Yeah, it was cool," Jay adds.

"Well," Eric says, feeling like the odd wheel, "I suppose you have things well in hand, Chris."

Indeed, accordingly, Chris did have it together, but then `Jay' had to get in the way, "Why? You can't give us another tune, Eric?"

He had flipped his guitar over to his back, like it was part of the act, Eric whipping it back around and with a soft smile on his face, "I could give you one more tune, I suppose, even though they tell me it's one to a customer!"

"He takes requests," Chris meant it in a mediocre way.

"Cool!" Jay exclaims! "Can you play the Beach Boys?"

Chris clues Eric in, pointing with his thumb, "He's a surfer boy!"

Staring down at Jay's predicament, hardly a position to be in for taking on the sea with a surfboard, "Oh!"

Unabashed of talking about it, Jay says, "That's how I got here. Was surfing in Oregon, got flipped off the board and got stopped by a rock in the water."

Again, the guitar never seemed to get worn out by being flipped back and forwards, Eric walking over to Jay's bedside, "That really sucks," he said calmly.

Chris knew, how Eric could be brash at times, soft and melancholy when the times called for it, becoming a witness to how sweet Eric becomes, holding Jay's hand and petting it like his best little, furry friend.

"So... what do you want to hear by the Beach Boys, if I can play it?"

"Do you know Surfer Girl', but can you sing it as if it was Surfer Boy'?"

"Lemme see," again, without effort, Eric's guitar is in front of him, picking it out. "Nope! Don't know it, but give me time, I'll get it, just for you!" he bends over, giving Jay a peck on the forehead.

Chris says, "Any lower, Eric and you'd have me to answer to!"

It made Jay smile, thinking of Chris being so protective, yet protected from whom, "Um, you're not a murderer, are you, Eric?"

"No, in fact, we can be very sentimental and affectionate," Eric looks to Chris, like he was looking for recognition.

Jay caught on, "`We?'"

"Long story," Eric wouldn't mind hanging around to share.

However, Chris didn't think Jay was ready for it, "Aren't you going to go away somewhere and learn `Surfer Boy', Eric?"

To Jay, Eric asks, "Sounds like he's trying to get rid of me?"

"I don't think so. In fact you can come back any time you want, but aren't there other sick people who can feel better by your songs?"

"Okay," it lightened Eric's attitude, put a smile on his face, "but I'll be back later," turning to Chris, "I hope you're not here!"

Chris just shook his head.

Upon Eric's leave, Jay asks, "So, tell me about you and Eric."

"Eric?"

"And you," Jay figured there needed to be another component to making the equation work!

"There's nothing much to tell. I met Eric shortly after he arrived and even though his stay had been temporary, I was the one to convince him of the opportunities for a wandering minstrel. I mean, he not only landed a job as music therapist at the hospital, but he plays soft background music at some of the restaurants, alternating nights. He's really very good at what he does," Chris takes a turn for the `other' part of Eric, "but he also..."

Thinking of where Chris was going with this, "We all have our faults... Me? You?" In particular, "Eric?"

"About a year ago, when Eric hopped off the ferry, I spotted him outside Kermit's Nook. He was panhandling for a cup of coffee. Feeling sorry for him, because I knew if a cop came along, it would mean a one way ticket off the island, I took him inside, bought him more than coffee."

Smiling, Jay says, "He's good looking too?"

Head moving side to side, Chris says, "Yeah, I have to admit I had other things on my mind, but I'm not one to let things go. I bought Eric lunch and after talking with him decided it would be okay to share my apartment with him."

"Room mates?"

More, Chris relates, "Bed mates and we enjoyed each other's company immensely, until Eric brought home Jessy."

"Uh-oh."

"At first... It was my place and he brought a guy home, with intentions of sharing the apartment, without asking me."

"Of course," Jay understood the implications.

"Though, as things worked out, Eric became the unhappy one, when Jessy and me hit it off!"

"Good for you. Bad for him!"

"Exactly and he took off, claiming I stole his boyfriend from him. As fate has it, Jessy was looking for a free place to stay during gay pride. He didn't have an interest in neither Eric nor me. We both were losers."

"Or winners," Jay puts it, "whereas Jessy might have taken you for more than a roof over his head!"

"True and that's how Eric and I looked upon it. In fact, we both got drunk over neither of us seeing it first," Chris ends with a smile.

Telling Jay things worked out in the end, he asks, "And Eric moved back in with you?"

"I took a room with a former hospital employee who needed the money to make ends meet. Eric lives next door in one of the other rooms."

Because it looked like Chris was coming onto him, yet Eric the same, "You and Eric aren't together anymore, then?"

Taking a deep breath, Chris says, "We are and we aren't, which is what makes it so complicated."

"Friends?"

"Sometimes more," Chris huffs, "sometimes `less!'"

"I think you kind of lost me, when this Jessy dude came in?"

"Listen," Chris' arm cradles the top of the bed, the other hand casually tagging Jay in the chest, "the way you should look at this, get to know Eric, if you want, get to know me and then draw your own conclusions, without either of us swaying opinion."

Lifting a hand, piling it on top of Chris' hand, Jay assures, "I already have my opinion of you, Chris. I'm just wondered what you think of me and if what I'm thinking you're thinking, are you going to do to me what Eric did to you, with Jessy?"

Confused, Chris could only stare into Jay's deep blue eyes, "I think you lost me after you stopped the circulation in my hand."

"Oh!" Jay says, picking up his hand. "What can I do to get the circulation going again?"

"Remember, I'm supposed to be examining you?"

"Right," Jay replies. "I know. So?"

"Later on," Chris shyly says, "maybe I can do a thorough exam?"

As if he invited Jay out to dinner, he responds, "I'd like that!"

When Chris leaves, promises to return in a few, Jay panics, thinking of the full exam, from head to `head', thinking of how he's going to miss out. For certain he thinks, Chris handling his private parts, will get a rise out it, regardless if he stood tall as a celery stalk or, as the case will certainly turn out, timbered into a flatlined position, "Bummer!"

However, Jay is totally whacked out of his gourd, "Tell me it's not true!"

Yet, how much he has prayed, hoped, wished, longed for to be as he was before, not so much as walking or surfing, though it would have been nice', but with some kind of living', `breathing' feelings restored to his...

The most meaningful person in his life walks in, which Jay proclaims, "Jare! Look!"

"Funny," Jared says with sarcasm. Often enough, Jay has teased the hell out of him, holding a hand up, like half-praying, under the sheet, portraying a larger than life stiff cock. Walking right over, as he's done in the past, he rips the sheet off to expose, "Stop fooling a--round..."

This time he's stymied to find Jay's zipper parted, briefs anchored below the balls and, "I'll be a monkey's uncle!"

"Isn't it cool?" Jay says excitedly, "And I didn't even stroke it or nothing. Just thought about it and it did it all on it's own!"

As if something contaminated, Jared looked but didn't touch, "We better get the doc back in here to check it out."

Jared rushing out. Jay can only think on times past, when he first got his taste of gay sex, rather Jared doing the tasting, which is why, not being at home, relaxed, is probably the reason Jared didn't bend over and wrap his lips around it, the timing being off. Strangest thing though, he could stroke it up, keep it hard, but didn't have any sensation up or down the barrel. Even feeling his adequate balls, he slowly sank into depression. With these thoughts, his high continued to fade, his cock wilting along with it.

Tearing into the room, Chris asked with a purpose, "What's up, Jay?"

"You mean, what `was' up?"

Jared asks, "What happened?"

Not wanting to admit failure, Jay says, "I don't know."

"But you were just..."

Chris cuts Jared off, "Why don't you leave Jay and me alone, Jared?"

As he says it, in walks Joseph, "Hey! What's up? Brought you some flowers as soon as I heard!"

"Hey, moron," Jared tells Joseph, "that's not flowers, it's a cactus!"

"So?" Joseph is fit for an argument, "Jay likes'em, don't you Jay?"

Though Joseph is trying to pay attention to Jay telling his brother how he `adores' cactus', he can't keep his eyes off Chris, seemingly toying with Jay's cock, "Um, you need some help there, doc?"

Jared, on his way out, says, "You came, Joseph. You saw, now it's time to leave?"

"I just got here," Joseph resists Jared's tug on his arm.

"Good and now you're taking me to dinner," Jared manages to coerce Joseph into leaving.

Soon as they are out the door, Chris says, "Joseph's a hot man."

"Yeah," Jay replies, but finds it a lead in, "but I wonder if you are as hot as him, without a shirt?"

Standing, Chris says, "I have a feeling you'll never leave me alone, until you know?"

Jay licked his lips, as Chris goes to the door, flicks the lock.

Coming back, he says, "Only fair if we both check each other out once?"

Then Jay couldn't believe it! Was it only his cock which had responded, or could he do what he was doing now, sitting up to strip off his tee shirt?

Sure, it was exciting, doing something he couldn't do in the past year, but seeing Chris coming towards him, shirt unbuttoned, that lush ginger fur, he exclaims, "You're going all the way?"

Unbuckling his belt, Chris replies, "Of course. We have an opportunity, let's go for it!"

Jay was amazed he could take his own shirt off, even sit fully up to whip it off overhead. Taking his sweatpants off, he had to do the impossible, invert his back, raise his hips, which was as easy as pie to do. Yet, all this miraculous stuff, his mind was still trained on Chris, now standing there in only briefs, "You're beautiful!"

True, the sheathing of hair from Chris' shoulders, down to where his thumbs were thumbing the elastic of his briefs, shone like gold, "Ready for this?"

Then horror struck, "Are you a bottom or a top?"

Walking over to Jay, as he sat on the side of the bed, Chris was like a ship coming into its berth, "Who cares about labels?" he holds Jay's cheeks in his hands, kisses him.

Hands about to touch those hairy pecs, Jay wakes up!

"Where'd you go?" he looks to the right and left, down his own front. "Dammit! What a time for dream, when I almost had him to myself!"

Sure enough, Jay lay there, still clothed and unfortunately, his cock totally limp!
