Wykester University: Discovery: 5 Beauty's Wrath

Kiersten whispered one word, filled with more rage and betrayal than any yell could even hope to muster: "No." Glimpses of past wars with creatures rising into the air, summoning the power of the land to aid them in the destruction of their enemies mixed with the scenes before him filled him with unquenchable rage. The winds immediately picked up to a howling tornado and ripped apart the forest trees nearest him, revealing himself to Hayden and Dave. Both let out a yelp and tried in vain to run but were caught, and stood transfixed, as a feeling of pure agony washed over them, spreading through the area, and to the rest of the world. All over Earth, Nature reacted with volcanoes erupting, even those that were not active. Skies filled with dark, destructive lightning shot down onto the land. Tornadoes and twisters joined in the foray of anger. Tidal waves and tsunamis rocked the land. And all throughout, a passion filled emotion washed over through all the destruction - vulnerability.

The Warriors stood immobilized, struck with fear. Never had they seen such sadness and power mixed. Nature couldn't hope to pull of such an act, but two people on Earth could harness the power of Earth and Nature in such a powerful way - Mark and the Archangel, Kiersten. And after felling the emotion behind the attack, the knew it had to be Kiersten. With a sprint, they reached the area where the magic was strongest and trudged on, only to run into the bodies of Dave and Hayden, still naked. Realization hit them the Warriors - the betrayal they and the rest of the world felt was the betrayal felt by Kiersten when Hayden had sex with Dave. And in the middle of all this, floating in the air, hair being picked up and thrown this way and that was Kiersten.

Kiersten's hands were fists as he let all his emotion out, spurring on the wrath of Mother Nature. Every so slowly, his eyes started shimmering, faint color beginning to appear, and then, with a sudden flash, his eyes glowed a bright, fierce red. Throughout Earth, the element of fire increased its havoc. Burning everything in its path, lava gushing through land, never cooling as its power was renewed by Kiersten's power. The red flare was replaced with that of blue, or the element, water. This time, the efforts of water were increased a thousand fold as great buildings and land formations fell to the pounding and torrents of rain and waves. Each element of Nature went through its course, as Kiersten's eyes glowed a respective color.

Try as they might, the Warriors couldn't reach Kiersten. Even Mark Davidson, the Warrior of Earth, couldn't calm Earth, for Kiersten was far more powerful than him. As Kiersten's eyes glowed purple, the people of Earth fell to the ground, clutching their head. For Kiersten, was boring into their mind and heart, making them feel what he felt. Tears streaked down his face as he lost all control over his body and a new wave of power rocked Earth as it started destroying itself from the inside out.

Meanwhile... in a place far away from Earth, whose room was made of pure energy and power, sat ten creatures that would be done injustice had anyone tried to describe them.

"His power has awakened."

"Much more powerful than I would have guessed."

"Such emotion."

"Knowledge of the past aiding in his attack."

"We must stop him."

"But how?"

"One of us must go."

"Who?"

"It would be unwise for just one to go."

"Then let us go."

And so, the Ten Archangels set off in blinding speed toward Earth...

Kiersten struggled with himself as he watched before him, the world being destroyed. And by him! He was destroying the very world which gave him life and sustained him. He had no right whatsoever to do this. But try as he might, he couldn't overcome his rage that seemed to be endless. He cried out in his head 'HELP! SOMEONE! ANYONE! HELP ME!' It echoed through the minds of everyone on Earth, and the Ten as they entered the atmosphere, setting course to Wykester University.

With deliberate grace and superb agility, the Ten landed next to Kiersten. The Seventh stepped forward only to be pushed back by Earth's Nature.

"We must stop him know."

"Or chaos will follow here."

"But how?"

"His power is strong"

"We have no choice."

"We must do it."

"Do we have to?"

"It is the only way."

"Very well then."

"Let us begin."

With extreme care and deliberateness, they each rose into the air, circling Kiersten. They then continued on to extend their hands, enclosing the area around Kiersten. With their full concentration on the task at hand, they did not realize Earth crushing against them, breaking them from their link and thus, freeing Kiersten, who let his full rage out on Earth as it began cracking and fuming, its core consuming everything.

Kiersten watched helplessly as everything around him was being destroyed. Why? Because of him. And even the Ten didn't seem that they could take on the enraged Earth. 'But they're supposed to be the most powerful beings alive. How' It slowly dawned on him....maybe, just maybe, he could be the reason they couldn't quell Earth. 'Maybe, since I'm an Archangel, and with Earth and Nature mad at me, they can't handle all this power at once. But wait, they should still be able to easily defeat me...why? It doesn't matter...maybe...if I'm out of this picture, Earth maybe quelled. I mean, after all, this is all happening because of me.' It didn't make sense at all, why would the Ten not be able to defeat him? He wasn't even a powerful Archangel; at least he hadn't seen that much display or power until now? What could be happening? 'Fuck, it's now or never. ... Ten Archangels, if you can hear me, on the count of three you must destroy me. Ok? No matter what. Earth is being destroyed and I don't know what is happening.'

'What is happening is you are being controlled by Disphisux. They are using your rage against you....and this Earth. Are you willing to do this? After all, you will be incinerated.' answered the Ten, all at once, as one body.

'Yes! I will never be the vessel of darkness.' replied Kiersten hastily. His worst nightmare was coming true. He had promised his parents that he would never harm anyone, no matter what wrong they had done. And here, he was being used, against his will and knowledge, for something he didn't want to be a part of. Being mad is one thing, taking out your rage on two people is something else, but destroying a whole planet is completely out of the picture. 'Please, kill me. Now! Before anything else can happen. I beg you.'

The Ten stood stock-still. Not moving, not twitching, and not even thinking. All they were doing was replaying the words they had heard...'I will never be the vessel of darkness.' It rebounded off each of their minds. 'It cannot be, could it?' they all thought at once. They shot each other a look of genuine concern and looked back at Kiersten.

'Hurry, I'm losing grip now. I don't even remember where I am, or who I am. My memory is being drained. Destroy me before I do any more damage. PLEASE!' and at the precise moment of Kiersten completing his sentence, a dark, cruel aura surrounded his form. His being started shaking and laughing.

'You have failed, Ten. I have won the first battle. We are back, for good. I don't know what that kid did, but that stunt won't work again. We're ready for you Akrevia bullshit or whatever it was.' A hollow voice thought out to everyone, a voice that reeked with bitterness and revenge.

'No, you have not won. Forgive us, my love. We have no choice.'

With a piercing bellow, the Ten leaped into the air, pulled back their hands, and from thin air, came ten bows glistening with a separate color each, respectful to which element the Archangel controlled. And then, at the exact, precise time, all Ten let go and from the bows shot arrows, similar to the colors of the bows. They each found their target, at the dead center of Kiersten-s body - the resting point of his soul. But instead of destroying him like they should have, the arrows disappeared into the body. The Ten watched breathlessly and wordlessly, as Kiersten's body lost its entire foreboding glow, replaced by a slender, almost delicate, golden flare.

From the back sprouted majestic and graceful wings. Two for the top and two for the bottom. Adorned with feathers, the top wings closed around Kiersten's body - or what was his body. The bottom wings, made of skin, embraced the top wings, tying a nice bow over the others to prevent them from opening. Time stood still....awaiting the opening of this gentle package.

Ever so slowly, the bottom wings opened, followed by the top, revealing a boy in his mid teens, a sparkling smile, enhancing his absolutely, perfect lips. Made of what seemed to be the color scarlet, the lips twitched seductively and erotically, teasing the world. Golden locks of hair fell over the golden eyes, more beautiful than imaginable. As the wind passed over the hair, dropping it over the eyes, the new Archangel used his hands to move the hair, which only fell right back in place. He gave a small blow from his mouth, trying to lift the hair from his eyes. Innocence combined with seductiveness in this new Archangel stretched beyond any sensation. Every time the hair fell over his eyes, it seemed so deliberate, beckoning the people to push it aside. The hair fell all over the head, almost forming a helmet, but not quite long enough to be one. Almost a shaggy look, the hair had dirty-blonde highlights. The boy was dressed in form fitting clothes - a tank top of gold color that fit to his rippling muscles underneath, as they effortlessly glided with the wind as the boy swayed with the wind. Ass-clinging, gold-colored shorts finished off the picture, along with golden-colored flip-flops. It seemed as if the boy was the epitome of beauty and gold combined. No blemish was ever to be found on the fair skin, no piece of stray hair.

So silently, and slowly, not to mention erotically, the boy opened his wings, as if he had just discovered a new toy. He looked at the Ten Archangels in front of him, smiled his charming smile, gave a wink, and said: "Hi."

"Valian...." the Ten replied, for the boy that was forever lost, but never forgotten, stood before them, in all the glory that he had, before he became the Final Archangel, Power.

Tristan: Hey guyz! How ya'll doing. Sorry it took me so long to get this out, but with college and making the story a little longer, I had to postpone sending it. In the heading of the last section, I accidentally said it was the third, it's not, it's the fourth. So please don't mind this. There will be one more chapter to the Discovery Unit of the Wykester University Series. The only problem is, I don't know if you all want me to continue or not. I did not receive that many emails (only 3) from the last chapter, so I'm assuming you didn't like the last one. In that case, I'm most likely stop with the end of this unit. So if you want it continued, please email me. Once again, sorry for the delay. And I'm curious to find out what you think is about to happen. Very curious. LOL. Remember, email me. forgotten_secretz@yahoo.com

Next: Chapter 6: Discovery 6
