This is the first boyband slash fic I've written, so I would love your feedback, positive or negative, long or short, just please please please send me some feedback, my mailbox gets lonely on its own!

Before we continue, I would just like to say that I in no way know the guys of either Nsync or the BSB, or any other celebrity mentioned in this story. As such I cannot comment on their true sexuality, I can only speculate (and dream). If male/male sex offends you, what the hell are you doing in this part of the archive anyway, then please leave, also if you are underage, or it is illegal to read texts of this nature in your jurisdiction then please utilise a vital tool, your browser's back button.

So now we've done that bit, here we go

Whistle down the wind : Part 1

It was the first day of my brand new job, and I was already getting hell for who my father is. You see my new job is working for Jive records as the head computer and sound systems technician for the Joint BSB and nsync tour. Basically that means that I'm in my dream job, but not only that I get to tour for 9 months with 10 incredibly hot guys. Anyway the reason I was having hell because of my Dad is that he happens to be the chief executive of Jive records and everybody thought that I was in the job because daddy gave it to me. The fact is that I worked damn hard and was over qualified for the job, the only three reasons I took it were who I would be working with, that I really enjoyed the kind of work I would be getting and that I would be guaranteed a future job with Jive. I had already met the guys several times before at Jive parties, and I really liked Lance, the last party I went to I spent the entire evening talking to him. When we got home Mom and Dad confronted me about it, and I told them that I was gay and that I had a crush on Lance. They were mad as hell, but not because of me being gay, it was just that they thought I couldn't trust them as I didn't tell them when I first knew I was gay. I went home that night feeling strangely liberated. And now 6 months later I still have my crush on Lance, and am openly gay. I don't go around broadcasting it, but if someone asks me I will tell them the truth. A 21 year old, blond haired blue eyed, gay boyband fan. That was me, but I'm also an incredibly talented computer and sound & video technician, which is why my job title is 'Head audio visual engineer and network administrator', I am also incredibly modest.

Anyway, on with the story: My day was going great, 1 day until we left Orlando for the first leg of the tour and the staff already hated me. I walked into the conference room and all immediately went quiet, "OK guys, lets make this quick it's been a long day, most of you already know me, I'm Chris James, but call me CJ. I am the son of Jives chief exec, but I worked bloody hard for this job, my father had no part to play in me getting it whatsoever. Also I've heard several comments made about me today, I'd like to quickly mention that should you wish to make a derogatory or offensive comment to me, or even think about using foul language in my presence," I paused, "just be warned, I give as good as I get." This comment was met with laughter all around the room. "right, now down to business, tomorrow is an easy day, we're simply loading the buses, The boys are on bus one, ignore it; security are on bus two, ignore it; I'm on bus three with more computer equipment than you could dream of, ignore it until I tell you not to; you are on bus four, get it packed up and ready to go first thing; and finally bus five is carrying the other equipment, if you have something that needs to be on it get it on tonight, tomorrow IGNORE IT. We need to be ready to leave at noon. Just remember the guys last concert here was four days ago, this is the longest clean up period we have. OK get to bed the lot of you, I'll see you tomorrow, just be ready to leave by noon, the latest any of you can crawl out of bed is ten O'clock."

Little did I know that an extra ten pairs of eyes and ears were observing my speech. "When do we get to see him again?" "Soon, tomorrow, first thing I think he said Lance, why?" "I want to put that plan into action" "Are you sure?" "I'm sure"

I was on the top deck of my bus, just setting up the final computer, when I heard someone call out from the bottom deck. I stuck my head through the hatch and saw it was Andy, one of my better sound techs, I quickly walked down the ladder and closed the hatch. I led Andy through to the back of the lower deck of the bus and offered him a drink. He said he didn't want one, so I grabbed a bottle for me and took a long swig from it, "I just came to tell you," started Andy, "that the guys want to meet with you soon" "OK, well give tell them to meet me in the main conference room in 5 minutes" "Great, cheers CJ, I'll see you at the venue if I don't see you before" With that, he left and I went back up to the top deck to finish off. I quickly packed up the equipment that the Guys were getting, grabbed my projector and my own laptop and hauled it down the steps onto the lower deck, I then made sure that the server was on and lugged the huge box that all the stuff was in over to the main conference room. I set up the projector on the huge mahogany table in the centre of the room and pulled the screen down from its position in the ceiling. Then I opened the laptop and hooked the projector up to it. No sooner had I done that than the two groups entered the room, well the two groups minus Lance of N'sync. They all grabbed a chair and sat down at the table, waiting for me to begin. "Before we start guys, I want everyone here. Where's Lance?" "He's just running a little late is all, it's his first day with his wheelchair" replied Justin "Wheelchair?" "Yeah, his accident, when he fell off the stage, left him with 3 broken ribs and a broken arm." commented Kevin "He has a broken arm and you expect him to manage pushing a wheelchair?" I asked astounded "Well, um we didn't think of that" replied JC "OK, well I'll go and give him a hand then" I said and walked out of the room I walked through the halls of the arena and quickly found the exit, I headed towards the guys bus and found Lance sitting in a wheelchair with a rather annoyed look on his face. "Hi Lance, I'm CJ" "Yeah I know, hi CJ, could you give me a hand?" "been goin' round in circles have you?" "Um, yeah" he replied sheepishly "Don't worry, lets get you inside" With that I pushed Lance across the tarmac and we were quickly back inside the conference room, there we were met with 9 grinning faces, I shook my head bemused and asked Lance where he wanted to sit, he pointed to the space next to me, so I wheeled him there and put the brakes on the chair. I noticed that all eyes in the room turned to Lance, and he nodded which caused their smiles to widen. "All right guys, I need your undivided attention, so stop the cloak and dagger stuff and sort out whatever you're smiling about and then we can get on and get out." "Well," Lance started, "we were wondering, if I could bunk with you on your bus?" "Why?" "With me in a chair I need a bit more room and being on a bus with 9 other guys and all their stuff wont be easy, so we figured if you don't mind I could bunk with you until I'm out of the chair" "Yeah, of course you can, if you're sure you want to" "I'm sure" "Well OK then, can we get on now" "Certainly" replied AJ "Oh, one more thing you were testing me just then weren't you, to see if I would think of Lance's broken arm." "Um.....well.....yeah, kind of" Justin said shyly "Well that would explain the hyenna smiles, and prove you're not a bunch of inconsiderate bastards" That got a shock reaction, I don't think they thought I would pick up on the test and probably also didn't think I'd be so blunt with them. "Right, now thats sorted, you've all got brand new laptops, top of the range with windows XP pro. they do have speakers onboard, but I also got you a pair of the best PC headphones each. All of the PCs on the tour are networked, and the laptops are on the same network, but they have wireless 1 gigabit cards so you don't need to plug the thing into a port everytime you want to use it." I paused and handed out the laptops, headphones and chargers required. "Now if you power them up, you'll get a logon screen like this one" I flipped on the projector and showed my logon screen. "Now with XP you may be used to the Welcome screen, with this network you wont get that, you have to type in your username and password everytime, now here are your usernames and passwords, you'll be asked to change the password, I don't care what it is, just make sure it's different from this one and is memorable to you but not obvious." I gave them each a slip of paper with their usernames and the current account passwords. "OK now once you've changed your password, concentrate on the projector screen." I logged on, and by the time my settings had been applied all the guys attention was back on me "Right, all of your settings are personalized to you, but at the moment all of yours are the same, with your user types pretty much all you can do is change the wallpaper and screensaver and use the applications on the machine. The icons on the desktop cannot be changed by you and neither can the contents of the hard drive. To save a document you do it to the Z drive, this is a network folder on the server, the only person that can get to your folders is YOU, not even I can. If you want to install anything on the computer, YOU can't, you have to let me do it, I'll cover how I will do that in a minute, but first if you want to install software that is an illegal copy, you need to tell me that it is a copy and not the original, I don't have a problem installing it, I just want to know, so that if Jive want to check out the contents of your laptops, I can uninstall it in time. OK now on your desktops you have an Icon, that looks like a blue circle with a questionmark in it, and it says 'ask CJadmin' under it, if you need any help at all with the laptop, double click on it. It'll send a request to me, and I can access your computer, chat with you about the problem and then take control of your computer and fix it. If you want me to install anything, click that icon and tell me what you want to install in the chat. No matter what time it is, if you need help double clic on that icon, one computer will always be on, if I'm out and about the request will come to my laptop, if I'm on the bus it will go to my desktop there. before I continue are there any questions so far?" All the guys shook their heads so I continued, "OK then, The internet" "Woo, hoo" shriek AJ happily At this point I pulled out a thick manual about 750 pages long and dropped it on the desk with a resounding thump, all the guys heads shot up "This is the manual Jive sent me about your internet usage, 750 pages long, it took me a week to read through it, the first 50 pages detail general things you can and can't do. The next 200 list sites you can visit, the last 500 list sites you can't visit." Several quiet comments were made at this, "In my opinion," I continued "this is complete and utter bullshit, and this manual is going on the first Barbeque we have, the Jive rules are simple, no porn, no chat rooms, no fun. My rules are different, you can go on whatever porn or erotic story sites you want, do whatever you want on the net. The only rules I do have are regarding chatrooms and these are for your own safety. On your desktops is a document called 'chat guards' in there is a list of your usernames and next to these is a chat name, in whatever chatroom you use, you must use these usernames, if there is already a user with that name then use the 'ask CJadmin' and I'll give you a new name, also in that document is listed what you absolutely MUST NOT chat about. If I catch any of you disobeying these chat rules, I will not only disable your user account, but I have a piece of filtering software set up according to Jive guidelines" I gestured to the thick manual "I will activate the filters and no one can get to any chat or porn sites of any kind, am I understood?" They all nodded "Good, now quickly, I spent the past five weeks setting up these computers, before I was even officially employed by Jive, if you remove any hardware or software or try to add hardware and software without my knowledge and consent I will disable your account, and I am not joking by any means. Now are there any questions at all?" "You're the chief execs son aren't you?" "Yes Kevin I am" "Then why are you so prepared to break Jive guidelines and rules?" "I am not here to enforce every guideline to the letter, how I do my job is my choice, my father has noting to do with it. The fact that my dad is the chief exec, has no bearing on my job at all, it only means that if I get caught then I am going to be in even more trouble and under a lot of scrutiny" "Well thank you, I am pleased that you trust us enough already that you would put your job on the line from the start, thank you" said Howie "It's a pleasure Howie, I want to go away from this tour with a lot more friends and I want to include you all in those friends, I'm sure I will, and I also hope that you can all trust me as much as I am trusting you" "I have a question" said a rather shy Nick "Yes Nick go on" "Will we be able to play network games?" "Not on the laptops, but on the top deck of my bus are 15 desktop PCs, all networked, if you all want network gaming then let me have the game CDs before we leave, and I'll install every game you want on all the PCs, then when we get some free time we can all ahve a game, or little groups of you can or whatever. I also have a PC DVD player and 5.1 surround set up, and with this projector we can also watch films in style should you wish to." "Printing?" asked Brian "Yep, you've got a laser printer on your bus, and I have a colour laser and inkjet and a photo inkjet on my bus. The laser is already set up on all the laptops, to print to the ones on my bus contact me from the 'ask CJadmin' button and I'll set it up for you. If you want to burn CD's or DVD's I've also got a CD-R and a DVD-Ram drive on my bus. OK that's all we've got time for now. I suggest that you all think of any more questions you want to ask me and then ask them later once we're on the road with the 'ask CJadmin' icon, tis will give you some practice using the remote assistance feature. Now stick your arm up if you have any games you want me to install for network gaming." everybodies hand shot up "Right then, well I'm gonna help Lance get his stuff onto my bus, so give me the CDs then.

I shutdown my laptop and shoved it in the box along with Lance's laptop and the projector and all the other stuff I needed along with the Jive guidelines. I told Lance to wait a minute and quickly rushed the stuff back to my bus and dumped it. I then hurried back to the conference room where I found Lance waiting for me. I took the brakes off his chair and wheeled him out of the arena complex and over to the guys bus, there Kevin handed me another huge cardboard box, "It's all of Lances stuff and all the CDs for the games" I took a quick look inside and saw 2 holdalls 3 backpacks and a massive pile of CD's "Thanks Kev" both me and Lance said in union, we all laughed. "Right we need to get going, Kev, could you do me a favour and take this box over to my bus and just dump it right in the back with the other one." "Sure CJ" with that he grabbed the box and headed off, I turned Lance around and pushed him towards my bus, we passed Kevin half way there as he was on his way back to the guys bus. Once at the bus I crouched down beside Lance and put one arm behind his back and the other behind his knees, I lifted him like this, keeping his body as still as I couldto avoid hurting his ribs, I then carried him onto the bus and set him down on one of the built in couches. "Do you want the chair on the bus or in the boot?" "The doc said I should try to move about as much as I could without the chair" he hesitated then "But you'd prefer to have it on the bus incase it gets too painful" I finished for him "Yeah, thats exactly what I meant" "OK then" I went and grabbed his chair and folded it and stored it right at the front of the bus

"We're just off, are you both ready?" The driver called out "Yeah Luke, we're ready." The door hissed to life and closed, the engine roared and the bus smoothly moved off

"You OK Lance?" I asked as I returned to the back of the bus "Yeah I'm fine," "Good, now, do you want to sort out your stuff and put it by your bunk" "I will, but what bunk am I in?" "Whatever one you want." "Which one are you in?" "The bottom one on the left in the front set," "Well can I go in the one opposite you" "Certainly my friend, if I put the stuff on your bed, is that alright, or would you like me to help you unpack it as well?" "Can you just out it on my bed please?" "Sure" I went through and got the huge box that Kevin had given me, put Lance's things on his bed and took the CDs up to the top deck, I dumped them on my desk and went round flipping the computers on, 10 of them had been set up to automatically log on and load the software I used them for, the other five I quickly logged on to as myself and then set them up for autologon aswell, that only left one desktop not powered up, and that was the one I used for DVDs anyway. With that done I headed back down to Lance. I went through to the back and grabbed my Laptop, and then went and sat down next to him, "Lance, I've got those games to install, do you wna tme to do it from here, or would you like to come up with me" "Can you help me up with you please?" "Yes of course I can, let me just grab the projector and stuff, and we can go up" I quickly grabbed the last cardboard box containing Lance's Laptop and the projector and dumped it in a corner on the top deck. I then descended the stairs again and found Lance standing by his seat, a grimace set on his face. "Do you want me to carry you up?" "Please" he gasped out "OK, well sit down again" He slowly lowered himself back into his seat, from where I grabbed him under the knees and behind his back and carried him up to the top deck. I set him down in one of the leather executive chairs I had, then I went over and sat down at my desk. Using his feet he managed to propel himself across and sat next to me, and watched me as I flipped thrugh the CD's, "God, there are over 40 games here" "Yeah, well we spend a lot of time on the buses, and we need something to keep us entertained, Jive have always provided us with Laptops, but we wanted them networed this time, so they got you" "And I got stuck with the job of running 1 wireless computer network, 1 wired computer network and 2 wireless comms networks and monitoring 10 guys laptops and controlling the entertainment in 3 busses. On top of that I also have to organise all of the audio and visual set ups for every show on this tour." "What do you...." Lance was interupted by one of the computers beeping rather loudly I looked across and saw that it was the one labelled 'Nick', I pushed myself across the laminated floor and had to laugh at what was displayed on the screen, Lance came over and almost fell out of the chair from laughing. "Are your ribs up to that?" "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for asking," "'sOK" I just remembered a couple of things I hadn't told the guys, so I went over to the computer labelled 'bus 1' and put the mic headset on I clicked a few buttons on the screen, and then started talking. "Guys, can you hear me?" "Yeah" came the reply through the speakers "OK, well I forgot to tell you a few things about what else I'm doing on this tour, have any of you tried the TV,video or PS2 yet?" "Yeah, and none of it is working, neither is the hifi" AJ replied I clicked a few buttons on the screen "Oh, sorry, try all of them again now" "How the fucking hell did you do that? its all woring now" "Well Justin, I can control all of the electrical equipment on the bus, from the lights to the TV, I can't change channels or anything just turn it on or off, I think Jive wanted a babysitter. Anyway, I won't use it unless one of you wants me too for a good reason or Jive tell me to turn everything off at a certain time, also I have 10 desktops monitoring one of your laptops each, oh by the way Nick?" "yeah" "You're not 13 are you" "No, why?" "Well I was just curious as to why you were looking at pokemon porn a couple of minutes ago" Laughter roared through the speakers, "The filters aren't on, you can get to the good stuff" I had a quick glance round and found that AJ was typing something, I read it and then replied "AJ, that is not a nice thing to say about me. I may be gay but I still have a smaller wardrobe than you do" This was met with even more laughter until one by one each one of them realised what I had just said "Did you just say you were gay?" Questioned Joey

Well there you have it, thats part 1. I plan to put out a chapter a week if I can, and if you like it. I would just like to re-iterate my plea from the beginning, please please please send me feedback on this story. the address is zmaster125@hotmail.com. I'd also like to appologise for the long lectures etc, I made in this part, but it is important for the storyline later on that all the details are clear now.
