Robert kept himself touching Lucas' thighs and looked down at Lucas.
"I remember you during our first month together, hesitant, not sure of yourself, hurting but playing good hockey. Don't get me wrong; I really enjoyed being with you. You have blossomed. You looked so confident today with my department members and I heard you talk of forensic accounting with excitement and a depth of knowledge that was incredible. Dad or David will love working with you."
Lucas put his hand over Robert's mouth. "It is you who has opened my eyes. You do bring out the best in people and take on those who have to be taken on. I watched you with Professor Levesque. Both of you were reacting intensely with the other."
"OK, enough. You know what I want tonight? I may be the bottom but I want you to be a power top working with me as the power bottom. Get to it, lover."
Robert put his fingers on Lucas' nipples and pinched. Then he started to ride his guy hard and fast. Lucas and he had discussed the concept of a power bottom and top and Robert closed his eyes and felt Lucas start to move in hard as Robert went down on Lucas even harder. They kept doing that for long minutes. Lucas pushed Robert's hands off his own cock and Lucas' hands started to move up and down as he went in and out. It was a night in which they were in perfect sync with each other. It was hard to tell whose moans and yelps were the loudest as they pinched and dragged finger nails over each others bodies. It was Lucas who was the first to yell that he was there and Robert could feel the intensity of his rhythm and then he felt it change as he stroked to intensify the feelings. Robert put his hands on Lucas' hands and gave him the tightness and the rhythm that he needed. With his eyes closed and his mouth open gasping as he called out Lucas name as streak after streak landed on Lucas' chin, chest, stomach.
Laughing at the intensity, Robert collapsed on his guy. They kissed. Robert finally felt Lucas shrinking and finally came out. Lucas turned them on their sides and looked at Robert. "Robbie, I never knew that it could be like this." Robert licked the wetness in Lucas' eyes and pulled him tight.
Present
They had decided on a leisurely leaving. They had packed up a little each day over the last remaining days. Their computers were now packed. Their hockey equipment had been well washed, dried, and packed days ago. They wanted to finish this morning and have something to eat at noon. They looked at each other and they knew what the final thing was that they had to do. They moved the beds to their original positions. They had both agreed that moving them together that had been one of their best decisions of the first term. As they looked at the room, Lucas put his arm around Robert and pulled him close. Nothing was said but each knew what this room had meant to them.
After lunch, they would go over to their departments to see if any results had been posted. Before they left for Lucas' home, they were going to go over to a house that Paul and Brett had found. Paul and Brett had left a payment to hold the house. Robert and Lucas wanted to see the house and they would give the remainder of the down payment and sign a contract. It would be their home for the year. There was even a third bedroom that they could lease out to help defray the cost. They were excited.
They left for the cafeteria. By chance, there were some people who they knew in the cafeteria which now was serving food for the incoming summer students. It wasn't really the food they came for. It was just to go to a spot which they had been in so many times and made import decisions. They reminisced with several guys that they knew.
They split up and each went to their own departments. They would meet at 1:30 to load the car and visit the house. Robert arrived at his department. Two of his courses were listed and he had As in both of them. He was about to ask the secretary if she knew when the others would be posted when Robert heard a familiar voice. "Thank you Dean, I hope that you understand." There were some good byes and Charles Hunter came out of the Dean's office.
"Professor Hunter good to see you again. We still have good memories of the BBQ at your place."
"Robert, I am so glad that you are here. I would like to speak to you and explain my visit to the Dean."
They went down the hall and up a flight to a nicely furnished office. "I have been meaning to contact you. I was just in to see the Dean about Professor Robertson's course. I have told the Dean that I just don't have time. I did not mention you. I simply explained my situation and my position. Apparently if his health is good, Professor Robertson wants to take the course on again and you are going to be offered the TA position again as well. He is impressed with you. That makes several of us."
"Several of us?"
"I was going to email you today. I managed to get your marks in all your courses. I am patting myself on the back, intelligent and well spoken. Young man you have two As and three A+s. Congratulations."
"I saw the two A s but not the others. I am pleased. I hoped that I had done well but didn't quite expect this."
"I think that Professor Robertson will want to talk to you. Perhaps a good idea to leave your summer telephone number here at the office with your email address. You have a good future in this department."
"Thank you so much. I have really enjoyed my year in so many ways."
With a smile, "I bet that rather handsome partner has been part of it."
"I am sure that YOU would know the answer to that question with an equally handsome partner."
"To quote your guy 'you have no idea'."
"Oh yes I do."
They both laughed. Robert looked at him. "By the way, have you chosen your dates for your trip to Europe?"
"Bought the air tickets two days ago. We leave in the middle of July and get back the weekend of the week before classes start. That gives me time to get my office in order and prepare for a new course that I have been given. That is one of the reason that I don't want to have take on Professor Robertson's course."
"Emile convinced me to end the trip in Paris. So we shall be there for 8 days. We don't want to be rushed. I have so many things that I want to see and do with him in Paris. In addition we have some very good friends there."
"I would love to go back. My trip with my dads last year just touched the surface. I would love to take Lucas there. He has never been out of North America." He sighed. "So what are the dates and your itinerary, just to make my mouth water."
Hunter printed a copy of the itinerary and added his email account to the print out. They wished each other a good summer and Robert was off to meet Lucas for the last time in their room.
"Oh by the way, here is the name of the club again and the name of the guy I met there. I have a lot to thank him for?"
Hunter gave him a look. "Short story. I broke up with my girlfriend in June." He saw the look from Hunter who smiled and raised his eyebrows. "Yes and it wasn't a celibate relationship." Hunter smiled and shook his head. That bright look was back in his eyes. "I met Andre at the gay dance club in Paris and we clicked. As I was about to leave with my dads, he kissed me and I opened my mouth for his kiss. I realized from our time together and the kiss that you could find a soul mate in many places, even with a man. Andre told me that there was little gay in every hetero man. I met Lucas. It took a while, over a month and I realized that I had met a special person, my soul mate."
"I knew that you and your partner were different and special. I could see the way that you looked at each other and reacted to the other. I shall try to find Andre for you."
They met on the way to their room. Robert looked at his guy. "Well how did you do?"
"Better than I expected two B+s and three As. I was really pleased with the A in that forensic class."
"I knew that you would do that well."
"I suppose that you got straight As"
"I did better than I could ever imagine, two As and three A+."
Lucas grabbed him and gave him a hug. They were in their room with everything at the door. Lucas looked around the room. Wistfully, "So many great memories. I remember the time my mother phoned and we were ... enjoying each other in a physical way and you told her I had to put my computer to sleep."
"That was the day that your relationship with her changed for the better as it turned out. Do you remember that day when we put the beds together? Some celebration after that."
"How could I forget that. Oh god, you are turning me on. Let's get going or I might attack you right now."
Robert chuckling, "Tempting. You are so easy and that is not a complaint."
With the car loaded, they arrived at the house, their potential home next year. It was in walking distance to the university. Both agreed it was a good looking place on a tree lined street and the place was well kept up. As arranged, the owner met them and took them in. Both were impressed with the living room and the kitchen. Both really liked two of the bedrooms and they had earlier decided that because Paul and Brett had worked hard to find a place, they would have the choice of bedrooms. They paid the remainder of the deposit and the first month's rent. They arranged for occupancy in the last week of August.
They were excited as they started their drive to Lucas' home. They wanted to spend a few days with the Stephensons and then they would drive to the chalet to help with the opening of the chalet for the summer. Then it was to work at The Accountants that first week and then with Marchese Construction the following week.
They had good days at Lucas' home. They had developed a good rapport with Mrs. S. His mother had cooked some delicious meals. He and Lucas had bought a slow cooker and they had prepared a meal in it. They, Paul and Brett, had decided that they would take a limited meal plan the next term at university and they would take turns putting food in the cooker in the morning and that would be the evening meal for the four of them. They knew that it was not only a good idea but would leave more money for Brett to enjoy for special meals and the club. Their first meal cooked in the slow cooker at the Stephensons had been given high praise especially by his mother.
They arrived at the chalet early on the Friday and as they planned, Robert's dads would be arriving on Saturday morning. They wanted a day by themselves to prepare for work on Monday and to relax after a busy but great first year at university. It turned out to be one of those late April days with wonderful weather. The humidity was low. The sun was out with light fluffy clouds in the sky. The temperature when they arrived was 17 C, a perfect morning in the spring in the country; by noon, it would be around 23 C, perfect for work around the chalet. They opened and aired the chalet. Robert had been taught how to start the water system and water heater. He went through all the appliances that had to be turned on. They even managed to start the satellite dish.
The best thing they did was to take the shutters off the front porch. They had brought a cooler and had left overs from the previous evening at the Stephenson's. They sighed with pleasure as they sat in front porch looking down at the lake at noon eating a wonderful meal.
Robert sat beside Lucas as they looked over the water. "You know this is the first time that we have been able to sit here with no one else around and just relax and enjoy the moment. Do you remember how we arrived for the first time at Thanksgiving?"
Lucas was laughing. "I was scared shitless and we were laughing so hard. You asked me to repeat after you that 'I am going to be fine' and all I could manage was that I was going to poop my pants, stammer a lot and crush someone when I hugged back. Then you hit my arm hard and we ended up laughing like idiots until your dads came out of the chalet. One of the best days of my life and there have been so many since then." Lucas leaned over and kissed his guy. It was not a gentle kiss; it was a scorcher.
Robert looked at him. "Are you suggesting something, now, right here? If I know my dads, they have probably used this porch more than once."
Lucas didn't need anything more said. He kissed Robert again and as they kissed, he took off Robert's t shirt and then his own.
They broke the kiss. Robert leaned back and scanned Lucas' body. It was a magnificent large body and the chest was finely defined from the hockey workouts. Robert never ceased to be drawn to it. Today was no exception. "Lucas, you keep telling me how good my chest is. Yours is magnificent. It reminds me of a Renaissance statue."
Soon they were standing naked on the porch with Lucas turned looking at the lake and Robert behind him. They were lubed and ready. Lucas turned his head. "I knew my feelings for you in September but it was here at the chalet that I really felt whole and accepted for the first time ever and it has only grown."
Robert pulled him closer and kissed him. Then he made him bend over so that he could enter him. The head popped in and Robert could feel the heat and the pulses as Lucas contracted and let go time after time. He closed his eyes savouring the erotic feelings.
Lucas with almost a pleading voice, "Don't stop. I need you all the way in and then you know exactly what I want."
It was breathtaking as Robert went in and Lucas pushed back against him. Robert put his arms around Lucas' chest and pinched each nipple hard as he moved in a relentless in and out. It was Lucas' who with ragged breaths told him to pinch harder. For minutes, Robert was pounding his guy who was loving it. They lost track of time and suddenly Lucas heard 'ah shit' and Lucas felt Robert go all the way and hold. Lucas was now stroking himself hard and fast and suddenly, he moaned and Robert could feel the contractions of Lucas' whole body as he started his finish.
Minutes later as Robert turned Lucas around and looked at him. "I remember that first night here when we slept together and the next morning. I finally figured out how I felt about you and what I wanted; that first morning together was amazing."
They decided that they needed to clean up. The water was already hot and they stepped into the shower together. They cleaned each other. They enjoyed it so much that they ran out of hot water and had to hop out and get dressed.
They worked a lot of the afternoon. They cleaned up the winter debris, fallen branches, leaves and dirty entrance ways. Finally, they opened up their family cabin, had the water running and cleaned the bathroom. They vacuumed the floors and put fresh sheets on the beds.
It was two happy guys who finally relaxed with more of the delicious leftovers and glasses of wine on the porch looking over the water. The dock was not in but that would have to wait until the water warmed up a bit over the next month. Then with wet suits to start, it would be time for water skiing. Lucas had done some but Paul and Brett were novices. They talked about some of the spring and summer holidays and Robert started to think about the July 1st party that was still kept up by the Malenfants and Robert's parents. He had some ideas that he would run past his dads and Lucas this weekend.
The movie from the satellite dish was silly but that was OK. It was just the two of them snuggled together enjoying being there. They went to bed but didn't sleep immediately. Lucas had muttered that they really were two horny buggers alone in the chalet and they could be as loud as they wanted. Later, Robert joked that they probably could have been heard for many kilometres around the chalet. The last thing that either remember were Robert's arms around his guy with both feeling completely at peace with the world.
They had turned on the furnace so it was breakfast with shorts only. There were touches and pinches and lots of laughter. By the time they heard a car, they were dressed and ready for the day. Robert figured that it could only be his dads. Like him, they loved arriving as early as they could at the chalet, breathing in the country air with those lovely smells of spring in the north.
Almost like his dads when they had arrived last Thanksgiving, the guys were out of the chalet and walking quickly to meet the dads. Hugs were over and all the stuff in their SUV was in the chalet. They started another pot of fresh coffee and took it out to the porch.
It was Timothy who looked down at the lake and sighed. "I always forget how magical this place is. What I really like is that it looks as if you guys have done all the work."
Robert corrected that statement with a list of things that they had saved especially for them. There were threats and counter threats and lots of laughs. Lucas as usual was so impressed with how close his guy was to his parents. He realized that he too had joined in; he really was part of this family.
They all worked hard. They took a quick break for lunch. His dads had brought a mixture of salamis and smoked meat with a great potato salad which Timothy had made and some vegetable salads. Finally by 5 in the afternoon, they declared the end of work for the day.
The guys decided that they needed their daily run. It was exhilarating. They stopped running just as the came to the lane up to the chalet and they walked slowly, catching their breath. As they approached the chalet and close to the porch, they heard voices and movement. Robert looked around the edge of the porch. He signalled a don't talk to Lucas and they looked around the corner. There were his dads with arms around each other kissing. It was his Papa who broke the kiss. "The guys may be back from their run shortly. What a wonderful day with them." He looked at Jeremy. "I have some wonderful memories on this porch. Do you remember that night with the lights out and no one around. I can still feel it or at least remember it."
Jeremy spoke quietly. "And then the time when we came up ready for action again and your parents were here. Disappointing but we made up for it later on the new bed." They started to chuckle as they looked at each other and hugged.
Very quietly, Robert and Lucas moved back and retreated. When they were at the family cabin, Robert grabbed his guy. "I told you that we weren't the first. Let's talk louder as we approach the porch."
"Now, I know why you are such a horny bugger."
"Hold it. I am adopted." He stopped and then laughing. "Ah, their genetics must have seeped into me somehow."
By the time they arrived the dads were sitting sedately looking over the water with a glass of wine. "Good run guys?"
"Yeah, we need a shower. Do we have time before supper."
"Yeah just make it quicker than last Thanksgiving." There was a trace of a smile on his Dad's face as he said it and he took a sip of wine. He looked so innocent. He knew what had happened after their run at Thanksgiving and with his steel trap mind, he had remembered. In his mind, Robert thanked his father for not embarrassing them then or now.
Delicious supper and they could still sit out on the porch. Timothy looked at them. "You haven't mentioned it but do you have your results?"
Robert sighed. "You worked us so hard today that I guess that it slipped our minds." That had a lot of comments at how lazy he was. Finally, pointing at Lucas, "My guy did really well."
All eyes shifted to Lucas. "Two Bs and three As."
Robert spoke up. "He is really pleased with the A in the forensic course that he took. He couldn't stop talking about it all term."
Lucas with a smile, "Well that was when I could get a word in as you went on about your the course that you were a TA and a professor in it as well." Pointing at Robert, "By the way, two As and three A+s."
That stopped the conversation. Congratulations from his dads. Timothy looked at him with a questioning face. "Professor?"
"Well, I had to fill in for the professor when his mother took sick and then died. That was six lectures. After his heart attack, I took over the last two weeks of lectures and a final week of helping students with questions before the exam."
A bewildered Jeremy, "You are a first year student."
"The professor knew that I knew the language very well and the Dean watched me teach a class. The students responded well. Most of them called me Mr. Malenfant or Professor by the end of the classes. Actually, that started at the funeral of the professor's mother weeks before his heart attack."
Timothy looked at them. "Anything else that we might be interested in hearing."
Lucas, "He took me to the staff BBQ of the Computer Technology Department as his partner."
Robert jumped in. "I decided that it was time. The invitation read staff and partner so I invited my partner. We met a professor in the Department and his male partner who are going to be in Paris in August. I gave them the name of the last dance club that we went to last summer and asked them to see if they could find and talk to Andre." He sighed looking at his fathers. "That time in Paris and then Italy was magical. I wish I could go back to Paris." Pointing at Lucas, "This guy would love Paris."
A look passed between his dads which both guys missed as they were looking at each other. Jeremy continued. "Lucas, he convinced us to go to gay clubs that he had researched. We had a blast and your guy was like bees to honey. He handled it very well. Andre was a very interesting guy."
"Yeah, Robbie told me about him at the chalet last Thanksgiving. I think that I have a lot to thank Andre for as well."
Timothy, "It appears that you both have had a great first year. We are so looking forward to having you home with Paul and Brett."
Robert spoke up as he figured this was a good time. "I have been thinking of the July 1st party. I would like to invite some people. Of course, Paul and Brett will be there. I would like to invite Anna and Michael. We have made a very good connection with Michael and Lucas really enjoys Anna. Papa, you remember Hank?"
Chuckling, "How could I forget?"
"He has become one of the best defence men, after that big lug over there and I have been quite close to him as well. I would like to invite him if he can make it. Even if he can't, he will know that we thought of him. We can all pitch tents and sleep outside."
Jeremy with a smile. "That's what your Papa and I did that first time on July 1st when I was going up as his friend to learn how to water ski. A July 1st that I shall never forget." He gave his husband a soft, connected look. "You know that we always have tonnes of food and drink. A few more are no problem. It would be nice to have a bunch of university students here. Decision made."
They watched a movie from his dads' iPad and then went to bed. The next day Robert and Lucas started to talk about work the next day. For Robert, it was a return to The Accounts. He was known and appreciated. Lucas knew that he would have to fit in slowly and that would mean that he would doing menial jobs to start and maybe by the end of the summer he might get to at least help out on a few forensic cases. He wanted it as an experience for his next forensic courses in the Fall. Having talked about it, they both were looking forward to their first day at The Accountants and they enjoyed the afternoon as they packed up and were ready to leave. They all had quick showers and dressed up a bit. His dads had reserved a table at one of the best French bistros in the city. It was their treat for the start of the summer and their good results at university.
The dinner was exceptional and the dads spared no expense, lovely wine and superb dishes. They went home ready to go to bed and face their first day at work the next day. However, Brett and Paul had arrived earlier and they had joined them discussing the last few days. Everything had gone well at Paul's and Brett's homes. No surprise encounter with the minister. In fact, Brett's father was quite engaged with Paul; Paul and he had bonded over hockey. It had been a good visit. Paul and Brett were full of praise for Robert and Lucas' results. That was returned to both Paul and Brett as they had done as well as the Lucas and Robert had.
Of course, Robert and Lucas didn't go to sleep immediately; they had a lot to say vocally and with their actions. They slept soundly and were ready with coffee the next morning for everyone.
Unlike the previous year, Robert drove in Lucas' car and they arrived early at The Accountants. He was glad to arrive with Lucas as there were still people there that didn't know his relationship to the big boss. Lucas hung back a bit at first. The receptionist and then, it seemed that everyone they met, welcomed Robert back. Lucas had heard how Robert had saved the day when the main file server had malfunctioned and he had solved the problem and brought the system back. Robert took Lucas to the manager of the accountants section. Robert introduced Lucas as a friend from university and then disappeared to the IT area. There, his welcome was even more vocal. He found his cubicle and he knew his duties in the department. His boss knew that he had been assigned to refresh The Accountants web site. Little did he know that Robert planned to make a totally new site but that would come later.
When they were in the car on their way home, they both agreed that it had been a great day. As he had expected, Lucas had had done some very basic fact gathering and fetched some coffee for some of the accountants. As he said, he was still paid for the day but he did hope that in fairly short order, he would have some accounting jobs. He now had eight accounting department courses under his belt and one of those was forensic accounting.
They had turned on the slow cooker in the morning and when they entered the house, it was filled with a wonderful smell of a beef stew. They had some broccoli and prepared it to put in the steamer as soon as the dads came home. The dads arrived about a half hour after them and they, with Brett and Paul, were seated eating by 6. After what the dads said was a delicious meal, his parents asked Robert and Lucas to come into the living room. His Dad looked serious. Robert wondered what it could be.
Jeremy looked first at Lucas and then at Robert. "Guys I made some phone calls during the day. I have a suggestion for you. First, we do listen to you. Robert made a comment during the weekend and your Papa and I decided to act on it. I have a presentation to make in Basel in the second last weekend in August. Your Papa is coming with me."
The guys could not hide their excitement. "Ah, Dad that is great news for you. I don't think that you have been in Basel before."
"No we haven't. However, we have changed our date of arrival. We now are planning to arrive on the Monday evening before the weekend presentation. Our arrival city is Paris." He looked at Lucas. "I have phoned your father and he is OK with my suggestion. We would like you two to fly on the Thursday before we arrive and spend that weekend by yourselves in the city of light. We'll join you on Monday night. I am going to book the apartment that we had last year. I see your looks. Guys it is cheaper to rent for a week and a few days than to stay in a hotel for a few nights. It is our gift to you. We have a points card with Air Canada and we can all fly on points. It isn't going to cost a lot. We, personally for Robert and Mr. S, for Lucas, will cover your last two week's pay."
The guys were speechless almost not believing what they had just heard. "Dad, I don't know what to say."
With a chuckle Timothy spoke up. "How about yes, dads, that is the most incredible offer we have had all day. Which my lawyer's brain says is probably accurate."
The two guys looked at each other. Looking at Lucas, Robert spoke first. "It looks as if I get my wish. We are going to Paris." Turning to his dads. "This is a dream come true. I told Professor Hunter that I would like to take Lucas to Paris. What about our jobs?"
Jeremy, "All taken care of. Philipo is excited for you and Lucas, so is your dad. I had a little talk with the CEO of The Accountants and he said OK." They chuckled as the CEO of The Accountant was sitting in the room talking to them. We thought that we would let you know now. Planning and expectation is half the fun of travel. The actual trip seems to go so fast."
There were two excited guys who went to bed. They could talk of nothing else but what they should do and on what day. However, they could think of some other things to do after all the talk and planning was exhausted. Lucas was to say later that they would certainly repeat what they did after their talk when they arrived in Paris. It seemed so romantic to even consider making love in the city of light.

If you liked this story, you might want to read the others that I have published on Nifty. In particular, my first story, Unexpected Change which has had the most positive comments and one of my other favourites, What a Difference a Year Makes. I have recently reread Introspection and it is worth a read, Michael Burtchell's story is in Discoveries; its ending is a little weak but getting there is fun.
