I'm REALLY sorry for my slowness on getting this chapter out. I have been taking my first real college classes so I've been a lil' busy. I also wsa without any internet connection for about a week so that didn't help. I hope to be able from now on to get these things out a little faster. Thank you again. :)

As Angel sat at his desk and grudgingly typed the report on "The Effectiveness of Mystical Themes in Advertising Campaigns for the Midwest," he thought about Josh. He knew he'd continue to do so for at the very least a month. Maybe after a month he'd finally get the guy out of his head.

"Excuse me. Are you a Mr. Angel Markum," said a male voice just outside of his office.

"Huh? I mean yes I am. What do you need?" Angel blurted without looking up; assuming it was another member of the firm.

"Good! These are for you."

Angel looked up and was a little shocked to see a man in a delivery boy uniform hand him one dozen orchids. Those were his favorite flowers. No one knew that but his close friends. Well he had told Josh, but there was no way he'd done this.

"You also get a song. I'm also a singing telegram," the young man stated quickly before beginning to sing.

"I know it's on your heart That a love like ours shall never fall apart You're so afraid of the rain So I'll take your hand And I'll love you in the best way that I can And I only expect the same

Don't promise me forever Don't promise me the sun and sky Don't pretend to know you'll never make me cry Just hold me now And promise me you'll try

Though I'm sure of what I feel Never though a love so true that felt so unreal And I'm a little afraid myself But if you love me day by day With all honest heart and a little faith Baby time will tell the tale

Don't promise me forever Don't promise me the sun and sky Don't pretend to know you'll never make me cry Just hold me now And promise me you'll try

Oh yeah and here's a card. By the way just so you know Josh hasn't been out of Justin's since the other night. He fell really hard for you and he's sorry."

Before Angel could form a word the young man disappeared. Angel was still in shock about he whole thing; however, he promptly got up and shut the door to his office. He knew a crowd would form soon. A singing telegram tends to do that sometimes. He went back to his seat and started to read the letter.

"Angel,

I'm sorry for the way I acted. I started to feel something for you that I hadn't for anyone in a very long time. The reason I said what I did was that I wanted to block those feelings.

The last time I gave my heart away I ended up getting hurt badly. It was so bad the guys had to keep a watch over me just so I wouldn't end my life. I know this is no excuse, but please see me again. I know I felt something real and I want to explore those feelings.

If you're willing to give me another chance meet me at the bar at 9 tonight. I'll be at our table. Please come! I really think I could love you more than either of us knows.

With all my heart, Josh Chasez

P.S. I hope you liked Joey's singing. He would have had a heart attack if anyone else had gotten to sing Jennifer Lopez. He loves her."

After reading the letter Angel just sat there starring at it. Josh liked him; he didn't just want sex. God he felt bad. He'd said so many nasty things to Josh that night. A smile slowly over took his face as a tear ran down his cheek. He knew where he was going to night.

. . . .

"Well how did it go? Did he like the flowers? Did you sing the song the way I told you to?" JC spoke, shaking with worry.

"It went fine. He was very shocked. The guy just kind of looked at me." Joey stated with a little worry in his voice.

"OH god! Fine? Shocked? I bet he still hates me" with that JC's tears began to pour.

"Stop it! Now you know shock can be a good thing. He was just surprised you weren't a complete asshole; that you actually did have a heart. I recommend you go up stairs and take a nap before you have to get ready. I know you have a couple of hours, but we both know it's going to take you at least an hour to get dressed and you look like you need some rest," Lance commanded, his authority showing once again. . . . .

"What should I wear?!" Angel squealed.

"Hum... I'd say your Chinese pattern button-up, with your cream-colored blue jeans shorts. It's casual, but fun. I love you in that outfit, sugar." Amy spoke with her usual enthusiasm.

"Are you sure? I mean I look good but..."

"You heard me! Now hurry up you have one hour to shower get dressed and be at that bar."

"Maybe I shouldn't go," fear dripping from Angel's voice.

"I DON'T THINK SO! You and your lil' boyband babe are made for each other. Besides you've been way too gloomy since the other night. I mean you've taken this harder than your last break up!"

"I know! God I'm such a fool! I feel for Josh SO hard. I hope this isn't like a trap or something. I mean you know maybe he's just messin' with me."

"I highly doubt that. I mean if he did you so could screw his career up!"

"Yeah, your right. Well I'm gonna get in the shower now."

"K, I'm gonna go babe. I have to go home and wait for my date to get there."

"Have fun tonight Ames!"

"You KNOW I will. Enjoy yourself to my lil' angel."

"Will do!"

Angel was glad Amy had agreed to come home with him. He had to tell someone what happened and she was more than willing to listen. It was so handy to have a self-proclaimed faghag around.

. . . .

As Angel walked in the bar he headed straight for the corner of the room where him and Josh had sat that faithful night. Since it was a Monday night the bar was less crowded than it had been that night and was a lot easier to navigate.

His heart skipped a beat as he broke through the thick of people to and saw Josh sitting and waiting. Waiting for him. For his love and comfort. He was so beautiful. Angel walked right up behind JC and in his best southern accent said, "Hello handsome you waiting for someone?"

JC turned his head and with all the effect of a great line of Shakespeare responded with, "Yes, yes I have. You and for all of my life."

Their eyes meet and the feelings of that pure love took both of them over once again.

To be continued...
