TWO OF A KIND, part one
by Marin Giustinian
Virginia, USA
Jake Carlson, 22, graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in creative writing. His mother passed away when he was two and his father, Merce Carlson, an eminent architect in Richmond, raised Jake, his only son, alone.
With the years, Jake worshiped his dad more and more. His father worshiped Jake as well. When, as a young adult, Jake told his father that he wanted to become a writer, Merce encouraged him to follow his dream as long as he followed it all the way. So when Jake graduated with honors, he told his father that he didn't want to continue into post graduate studies. He wanted to directly work on a book, alone, in their ultra contemporary cabin in the mountains. Merce gave Jake the deed to the cabin and an allowance to live on.
The ten acres of woods belonging to the Carlsons neighbored the Ross Vineyards. Jake's cabin was built as a modular unit placed above ground on slender pilings, situated on a slope ending along Dogwood Creek. Merce had conceived and created the cabin as a self-sufficient, off grid dwelling unit immersed in nature. The facade facing the creek was totally glassed in. The inside space contained a cooking block, a wet room, dry toilets, and an informal lounge area. The sleeping area was a simple rectangular box, the width of a king-sized bed with a platform at the foot over the living area, accessible by a loft-ladder.
Solar panels kept the service batteries charged for the small fridge, led lighting, and plug-ins for phones, computers, etc. Water arrived by gravity from the creek upstream. The cabin was heated by a cast iron, wood burning fireplace in the center. Butane gas fueled the cookstove and hot water system. This small dwelling was a declaration of eco-awareness, a live-in statement of simplicity, elegance, and sustainability.
Jake packed his things in the back of his Chevy Silverado pickup truck and moved in on July 24, 2017. He immediately called on his neighbor, Chuck Ross, owner of the vineyard, informing him that he would be living in the cabin for an unlimited amount of time. Chuck immediately proposed Jake a fairly well paid temporary, part-time job as keeper of the bunkhouse for the grape pickers during harvest season. Wanting to experience living on his own resources, Jake immediately accepted and began the following week.
Timothy Gresham, eighteen, from Palmyra, Virginia, was the son of a single mother and unknown father. Sheila Gresham worked as a cashier at the Dollar Store in Gum Spring, Virginia. He and his mother lived in a mobile home where the US 522 connects with Interstate 64. After graduation from high school, Tim worked until August behind the counter at the Dairy Queen. But when his mother's new man moved in, life had become unbearable for him. The man took up all the space. That's when Tim decided it was time for him to leave. His mother agreed. He thumbed up to the grape country and found a seasonal job as a picker at Ross Vineyards.
Summer 2017
Tim stood leaning in the doorway of the bunkhouse office, waiting his turn to check in. Jake startled a bit when he first saw Tim. They could have been close to twin brothers with the same dirty blond hair, the same blue-grey eyes, the same fair, unblemished skin, slim nose and refined lips. For a fleeting second, Jake stared at him before saying, "Are you here for the harvest?"
Tim nodded.
"Come on in, take a seat. My name's Jake Carlson. I'm in charge of the bunkhouse, the sanitary facilities and the dining hall. And you, what's your name?"
"I'm Tim Gresham. Pleased to meet you."
Tim put his sack on the floor and sat. Jake thumbed through his papers. As Tim waited, he too was fascinated by Jake. He felt like he was looking at himself with four or five years more.
"Gresham... There, I found you. Could you give me your Social Security Card, Driver's License or Identity Card, please.
As Jake filled out the form, he felt Tim's eyes on him. He looked up. Tim gave him half a smile and then looked down, a bit embarrassed. Jake handed Tim's Driver's License back to him with a key, stating, "You're in bunk number sixteen. Can you leave me a twenty dollar deposit for the sheets, pillow case, and the key to your locker? It'll be given back to you the day you leave."
"Uhh... I only have a ten. Can you take the other ten out of my pay?"
"Sure... The linens are on the bed."
"Is there a towel included in the deposit?"
Jake winked at Tim and replied, "Yes, for free... just don't steal it, Okay? It's in your locker... Read the house instructions on the inside of the locker door. If there's any questions, I'm here until seven, and, by the way Tim, welcome to Ross Vineyards."
"Thanks, Jake... see you around," replied Tim with a smile.
"Next..."
During the following days, whenever Jake and Tim saw each other, they exchanged a certain smile. One day in the dining room, the cook, Jethro, asked Jake if that boy over there, chatting with a bunch of giggling girls, was his brother.
"You mean Tim Gresham?"
"Whatever his name... are you all kin?"
"Not that I know."
"I swear you could be family!" chuckled Jethro, "He's even more good looking than you, man... and look how he's drawing those flirty little females like honeysuckle draws bees!"
"I don't have a brother, nor a sister for that matter."
"That's almost spooky..." mumbled Jethro, heading back to the kitchen.
A week later, the heat hit. The overseer reorganized the harvesting, putting the pickers to work from five to one until the heat wave was over. One afternoon, Tim was reading a book in the shade of big sycamore tree when a dump truck drove up and poured out a big load of firewood next to him. Jake was behind the truck with his pickup.
"Sorry to bother you, Tim. That's my winter stock of wood. I had it delivered here because the road up to my cabin's too narrow."
"You going to load your pickup here?"
"That's my intention. Go on reading... I've got all my time."
"And let you haul all that wood by yourself? No way, man! Let me give you a hand. How many trips will it take?" inquired Tim.
"At least three, if not four..."
"How far away's your cabin, Jake?"
"Twenty minutes, maybe twenty-five uphill and fifteen back..."
"You'll need a hand to unload too!"
"I'd really appreciate that, Tim... Doesn't the heat bother you?"
"It's just summer! Ha!"
They made a first load, climbed in the truck and drove off. On the way to the cabin, Jake asked Tim a few questions about himself. Tim had no problems telling Jake about growing up in a trailer with his mother. He admitted that he liked school and was sad that it was over. He said he had no way to afford further studying and admitted that he didn't know what to do later.
They parked.
"The cabin's just there, behind the trees. Let's go down and get the wheelbarrows for the wood."
Seeing the cabin, Tim exclaimed, "Wow, man! Looks like something out of a science fiction book!"
"My dad's a minimalist architect. He designed it. Let me show you around."
Tim followed him in. It was cool inside. Jake kept a neat nest for himself. Tim just stood there, wide-eyed, and uttered, "I'm in a film... I love this place, man. Do you know what it's like living in a flimsy, ugly trailer, Jake?"
"Not really..."
"A trailer's not fit for humans to live in... This place is heaven. You live by yourself up here?"
"Yes"
"Never feel lonely, do you?"
"Hardly ever... I write. I want to be an author and an author needs to be alone... or in very understanding company."
Tim nodded, looked a bit nervous, and said, "Let's unload the wood!"
After two more trips, all the wood was nicely stashed. Jake took a twenty out his wallet and held it over to Tim.
"That's mighty nice of you Jake. I prefer that you put half of that on the deposit I owe and keep the rest. I don't need the extra cash."
"Are you sure?"
"Jake, I really enjoyed helping you with that chore! That's pay enough!"
"I enjoyed you helping too, Tim..."
There was a moment of awkward silence, and then Tim said, "We never say anything about how much we look alike. The others think we're kin."
Jake blushed a little.
"I like that others think we're kin. Maybe in some way we are. Maybe we're like islands... you know, separate above the water, but linked beneath. I love books, so I'm glad to know that I look like an author!"
Jake really blushed.
"That's the nicest thing I've heard in long time, Tim. Do you think that the water's deep between our islands?"
"I don't know yet," replied Tim, shrugging.
There was a moment of silence.
"I guess we'd better get back down for supper," stated Jake.
"I guess so."
Ten days later, the grapes were all harvested. Tim and several others were hired to go further upstate to work in another vineyard.
Knock-knock... "Got a minute?" asked Tim, peeping through the door of Jake's tiny office.
"Sure, come on in."
"Remember when I arrived three weeks ago?"
"Of course I do, Tim, and I'm afraid I'm going to miss you being around."
"Me too, Jake. Remember what I said after having unloaded your firewood?"
"About islands..."
"Well, maybe I could swim over to yours sometime, if you don't mind..."
"I'd really be glad seeing you wade up on my shore, man. Give me your phone. I'll punch in my number."
"I don't have a phone yet... just jot your number down. I'll keep it with me."
Jake wrote his number on a small card and handed it to Tim.
"You know, I think you deserve to enjoy the fire in my chimney sometime soon... Come whenever you can!"
"I'll think about you every time I look in the mirror," laughed Tim.
Jake laughed back, "I already do!"
Tim smiled, looked aside as he shuffled his feet, and then uttered, "So I've got to go. My ride's waiting."
Jake stood with open arms and said, "Before you go, come and give your look-alike a hug!"
A slight, stifled whimper escaped from Tim's throat as they held each other a bit longer than just a quick man hug. Tim's scent lingered in the air after he had crossed the door, leaving Jake with a strange empty sensation deep down inside.
Autumn 2017
The school year had started two month previous to Jake's visit to Blue Mountain Academy, a private, rather posh, boarding school for boys in Saint George, eight miles from Jake's cabin. The headmaster welcomed him, congratulated him for being the son of the famous Merce Carlson and was pleased to accept Jake's offer to take on private lessons, if needed, for the students in difficulty. They decided on an equally posh hourly sum for the lessons. It was also decided that Jake's lessons take place between four and six in the afternoon.
"I'll ring you up as soon as we've found the boys needing your help. You'll have a private parlor for your work. Thank you again for calling in on me," concluded the headmaster as he accompanied Jake to the door.
Jake had just started the motor when his phone rang. He didn't recognize the number.
"Hello, Jake?"
Jake immediately recognized Tim's voice.
"That you, Tim?"
"Yes, it's me!"
"How are you?"
"I'm fine, and you?"
"Fine, thank you. Where are you?"
"I'm sitting on a rock in front of your cabin!"
"WHAT!"
"I thought I'd come for a visit."
"That's great! The sliding glass door's not locked. Make yourself at home. I've got a quick errand to run and I'll be there in a minute."
Jake didn't bother to question his excitement seeing Tim again. He just laughed as he pulled out of the parking lot of the Academy and drove over to Maybelle's Market. He picked up two tenderloins, several potatoes to bake, a head of fresh lettuce, a can of salted peanuts, a bottle of Coca-Cola, and a sack of ice. He looked at the wines and decided to splurge on a bottle of French Bordeaux, costing a small fortune.
Jake mumbled to himself, "What the hell! I've got company!"
The cashier joked saying, "Jake, you look mighty happy! Got a date for dinner up there at your place?"
Jake smiled, tilted his head and replied, "More or less..."
The cashier didn't understand a damn thing as she rang up the bill.
"Have a good evening, Jake."
"Thanks Maybelle!"
Jake's tires were scratching gravel as he sped up the dirt road to the cabin. There was a 125 cc motorcycle parked beside the garage. Jake tooted the horn before getting out of the truck. Tim ran up. They hugged, patting each other hard on the back.
"This is a wonderful surprise, Tim! The bike yours?"
"Yes, all mine! Let me help you with the groceries!"
By the time everything was stashed, it was already happy hour. Jake put three split logs on the fire. He then put a bowl of ice and another full of peanuts on a tray with a bottle of Jack Daniel's.
"Do you like your JD on the rocks, with water, or with Cola?" inquired Jake as he put the tray on the low table between the big fat cushions on a rug in front of the fire.
"I drink my JD like a lady with ice and Coca-Cola," stated Tim, wiggling a bit. Jake returned with the glasses, and Cola. He served Tim his drink and poured his JD on the rocks.
"Now you just help yourself for seconds... and we'll see about thirds..." laughed Jake.
They made the ice tinkle in their glasses, raised them, and looked into each other's eyes. Tim winked and Jake toasted, "To us!"
"Yeah! To us, man!" echoed Tim.
After the first sip, Jake said, "Tell me all about yourself since you left."
"It was six steady weeks of bonanza for me. During the whole season, I raked in on the average eighty dollars a day, spent nearly nothing and wound up with the most money I'd ever seen. Guess how much I earned in the vineyards?"
"Let's see... eighty per day and that for..."
Tim interrupted, bragging, "Four thousand, six hundred and twenty-seven dollars and fifty cents, all deductions made!"
"Great... so you bought a phone and a motorcycle..."
"The phone I bought, but the motorcycle's another story. I got a call from my mom saying she had sold the trailer and wanted me to have half the money. I said, 'Mom, you're crazy!' and she said, 'Maybe... but now I'm getting married and my man's renting us a real house. Do you want the cash or not, dumb ass?' Dumb ass, that's me... So I said I'm coming right away. Now she's happy and I'm richer by a bit over eight thousand more! And wham! There you go!"
"That's awesome, Tim! So you bought your bike..."
"It's second hand, but runs like a jewel."
"And what did you do with your belongings?"
"What belongings? I packed my better winter stuff, four of my favorite books, my diploma and threw the rest away... childish junk. All of my stuff is in the two saddle bags over there. The rest is in my duffle bag."
There was a moment of silence as they looked at each other, smiling.
"Jake, you look really great. It's so good to see you, man!"
"Me too, Tim... really good!"
They talked, sipping their drinks. The warmth of the fire, the gayety of the evening, and Jack Daniel's relaxed them as if they actually were brothers.
"And what's new with you, Jake? How's the book coming along?"
"I haven't started it yet. I've been taking notes. My problem is that I've got too many ideas and can't make up my mind on which one to start with! All I know is that it must be about friendship, strong friendship... but not the alpha male, soldier, cowboy kind of friends. It's still a bit mixed up in my head. All I know is that it has to be a man's story, with men bonding..."
Tim looked a bit dreamy eyed as he listened to Jake go on talking about his ideas.
"But I'm giving myself time... By the way, I got hired to tutor some boys in a boarding school nearby."
"Lucky fellows!" exclaimed Tim.
Then looking at the fire, Jake said, "Yeah, I guess, I'm fine, but sort of dreading the winter up here by myself."
Tim shrugged, looking at Jake with an understanding smile on his face.
"Look, Tim, the coals are perfect!" exclaimed Jake, changing the subject, "It's steak and baked potato time!"
"I'll do the salad. You got oil and vinegar? I make a wicked French dressing!"
"Great! I bought us a bottle of French wine to go along with the steaks."
"Wow! This place is first class, man!"
As each went about their job, they carried on talking about the world, about Trump of course, about the mentality of the Republicans, about the ultra rich, the poor migrants, and so forth and so on... When Jake mentioned that Tim should try to get a scholarship or a loan or something to go back to school on, he firmly replied, "Shit, man -- school's not for me, Jake. I think too much to keep my mouth shut and let others tell me what to think. I get along well with my own head. If there's a library around, that's enough, quote-unquote, Higher Education, for me!"
"You really do love reading, don't you, Tim?"
"I can't read enough. But being with you right now is better than any book written! I'm having a great time, man! You're cool, good looking and a free thinking writer... otherwise you wouldn't be here. Am I right?"
"I like to think I'm cool and look like you, and... and sure enough I'm a free thinker. Yeah, you're right, otherwise I'd be somewhere else, for sure! Shall I put the meat on?"
"I like my steak RARE. My mouth's watering already!"
The meal was appreciated, and so was the wine. Tim yawned as he helped clean off the table.
"Since we're sharing your bed, I'd like to wash up before we turn in. How's that done here?"
"That's done in the wet room. Come with me."
Jake led Tim in.
"You see, there's a seventeen gallon stainless steel tall pot on legs under a spigot. Beneath the pot there's a mobile triple ring gas burner. I just fill the pot, like I'm doing now. Then I light the fire, and wait until the temperature's right. By the window, there's a full sized mirror, a basin on a stand for shaving, and several quart sized pitchers hanging on the wall for dipping and splashing all you want. The floor's a latticed wooden grill over a drain. I do my laundry by hand in here too. Simplicity, my friend!"
"Sounds like fun."
"Dad and I had loads of fun in there scrubbing each other!"
With a weak, almost sad smile Tim looked at his feet, and said under his breath, "Yeah... that must have been nice."
Remembering that Tim never had a father, Jake added, "Want us to try it together?"
Tim beamed!
"I sure do!"
"So while the water's heating, I'll dash up to put fresh linens on the bed," declared Jake.
"While I do the dishes!" added Tim.
A little while later, they were both stark naked in the wet room. The water was slightly steaming. Jake dipped a pitcher in the pot and threw the water on Tim. They both laughed. Soon water was flying everywhere.
"Do you want us to soap each other up all over?" asked Jake.
"Absolutely!"
It was a moment of wet, sudsy fun, laughter, and unashamed groping.
Back in front of the fire they toweled off.
"Ready to turn in, Tim?"
"I'm your man!"
It was never a question of night clothes. Scented by the lavender in the towels, they scrambled up the ladder and dove in bed. As they cuddled, naked and still half drunk, Tim whispered, "Thank you, Jake. Can I kiss you in the neck?"
"Even elsewhere, if you want..." whispered Jake, pulling Tim up close.
"I guess we've got all day tomorrow, if you want, to let it happen..."
"Let what happen?"
"Everything... tomorrow," uttered Tim, halfway asleep, as he caressed Jake's chest.
Jake too yawned, pulling Tim up closer, "Yeah, tomorrow morning..."
And that was it. Both of them fell asleep, breathing together like a pair of doves in their nest.
Dawn was flowing in through the small side window of the bed-box when Jake felt Tim, under the covers, softly sucking his cock. As he actually realized what was happening, he smiled and remembered, "Let it happen..."
With infinite tenderness, Jake took Tim's head in between his hands and pulled him up out from under the covers. Tim beamed, licking his lips, "Do you mind?"
"Not at all... just wanted to kiss you good morning, my sweet prince!" whispered Jake.
"Good morning to you too!" replied Tim, leaning in for the kiss.
Suddenly they began making out like mad. They rollicked and rolled around in the big warm bed, entwining legs, clawing backs, struggling with the sheets, rubbing cocks together, laughing.
Suddenly Jake exclaimed, "Man, I've really got to pee!"
"Good idea!" echoed Tim as they scrambled down, opened the sliding glass door, and stood side by side, peeing into the rising sun.
"You really piss a wicked distance, Jake!"
"My initials are J. C. That could mean Jet-Cock, too!"
Tim broke out laughing and informed, "Let's get back up... I always finish what I start!"
Once in bed again, Tim dove down on Jake's cock and sucked it in. Jake moaned, writhed, bucked and couldn't help not pushing deeper into Tim's thirsty throat. Tim barely gagged. His swirling tongue was working miracles. Then without warning, Jake stiffened, screamed, and spewed his semen, scissoring Tim between his legs. He was as if paralyzed for an instant before collapsing, spent, gasping for breath.
Slowly, softly, Tim emerged and then declared, "That's the best breakfast ever!"
Even if Jake was still a bit dazed, he giggled, "I'm glad you liked it... Me too, I like it. That was wild!"
"Now how about some coffee, toast and eggs?"
"And when do I get my share of you?"
"After coffee!"
Jake took his time getting his wits back together. He sat crosslegged on the bed as Tim busied himself by the hearth blowing on the coals. He draped a blanket over his shoulders and with another blanket in his hand, eased down the ladder.
Jake said, seeing Tim nude, kneeling over the coals, "My God, you're too beautiful!"as he draped a blanket over Tim's shoulders.
"Thanks! Now if you want to put more wood on, I'll take care of breakfast."
Soon full plates of eggs, bacon, and biscuits landed on the table. Pouring coffee in their mugs, Tim asked, "Sugar, milk?"
"Black!"
"Like me!" laughed Tim, "We are really two of a kind, aren't we, Jake?"
"More and more!"
After dishes, Jake took Tim in his arms, and said, "I'm thirsty for you, Tim, but first I want to tell you something."
"Here or upstairs?"
"Upstairs..."
"Lets go."
Back on the bed, in the warmth of the heat rising from the fire, Jake held Tim up close and began.
"The moment I saw you, something broke open inside me. At first I was puzzled, that's all, but I kept on looking for you around the vineyard, in the dining room. Do you remember how we'd sometimes just look at each other and smile?"
"I certainly do, Jake..."
"So... before this morning, I was totally asexual..."
"Asexual? What's that?"
"I wasn't attracted to anybody. I could have had all the girls I wanted, but the problem was, I didn't want them. Same for some of the guys... I ended up having very few friends. My father was worried too..."
Jake took a deep breath.
"A few days after seeing you around, I began to realize that what had cracked in me was the slow surge of desire for somebody, for you, in fact, swelling in my heart, as well as in my cock. The feeling was new, powerful, obsessional. The afternoon we spent loading and unloading the wood was a turning point for me. That night in bed, I still had your scent on my skin from the hug we had shared. I jerked off like a mad man, thinking only of you."
Tim put his hand on Jake's chest and nuzzled his neck.
"Are you listening?"
"Yes"
"I couldn't tell you anything. I didn't know what to say. I was scared to say too much or not enough. I was at a loss with you. When we hugged again before you left, I thought I was going to cry, to die. It was so hard to stay composed. When I gave you my phone number, it was like a prayer..."
"That I answered," whispered Tim.
"Yes. Something inside had always told me you would call, that things weren't over between us. I trusted the fact that our islands were on the same ground underwater. And..."
"And?"
"And -- And now I want to keep you and suck you dry!"
Tim had tears in his eyes.
Jake continued, "I hope I don't sound too romantic, too possessive. I don't want to tie you down... I just want..."
Throwing himself on Jake, Tim yelled, "I want you to tie me down! Good God, Jake, I want to say that you've been on my mind all that time too. I dreamt of blowing you, of you fucking me, making me yours, for good! I told my mom what I felt for you. She said she knew I was gay, at least in love with myself, which is the same thing! When I first started jerking off, I'd do it, looking at myself in the bathroom mirror. My mom said I was moaning and whimpering so much, that she got worried and peeked in on me. She said that now I've found the guy in the mirror, I'd be a fool to not try to keep him. Oh, Jake, I'm NOT a fool. Maybe it's crazy to love you, but that's the way it is. Now, hurry up before I shoot off just thinking about it! I love you, brother!"
In fact, Tim didn't last very long. Jake relished Tim's cum. He had never tasted cum, not even his own. After a long moment, cuddling in silence, Tim whispered, "I think we've got a lot to learn together, don't you?"
"I don't even know where to start..."
Things went fast. After lunch, they took a walk down by the creek. They sat on a stone and talked.
"I love this place, Jake! I could sit here for hours, just soaking in the beauty."
"We're two of a kind, Tim! All my worries and troubles seem to wash away in the rush of the creek."
Tim took Jake's hand. A dragon fly lit just in front of them, its gossamer wings shimmered like trembling rainbows as it lingered in a narrow beam of sunlight. Then, in a blink, it was gone, making them smile...
The energy flowing between them became intense. Tim leaned in on Jake. Both hearts were beating, quaking in their chests. Jake inhaled a deep breath, nudged his head against Tim's and uttered, "How long are you staying?"
Tim rubbed his hair into Jake's, replying, "As long as you don't put me out... Ha!"
"Do you have your winter stuff with you?"
"I've got all I own with me," answered Tim.
Jake stayed silent for a moment and then said, "So I guess we're together for a long time, then..."
"I guess so... Promise?"
"Promise..." echoed Jake, adding, "I can't go against the will of..."
Jake didn't finish his sentence.
"The will of?"
"I don't know, Tim. All I know is that if I'm here now with you, it's because it was meant to be. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?"
"You know I do, Jake!"
"That's right."
"So, I guess we should go do some shopping. I'd like to get us some extra towels and linens and buy some more groceries now that we're two. I'm low on toner for my printer too."
"I've got cash! Let's go!"
They drove over to Charlottesville and actually had a shopping spree, never overdoing it, but still... Jake helped Tim choose some finer clothes for the winter. They wound up with some very classical casual sweaters, a pair of corduroy trousers, Bass Weejuns, socks, boxers, etc. Jake bought them two very plush caftan house robes to lounge around in. They filled two shopping carts with food and wine. Jake bought two reams of paper and a stock of toner for his printer, and to top it all off, a motorcycle helmet for them to ride around together on Tim's bike...
"We've got enough stuff to last up there in the cabin for weeks, Jake," exclaimed Tim as they loaded the pickup.
"Exactly! We can eat, play in bed, take walks, play in bed, eat again, play in bed, ride your motorcycle, play in bed! By the way, the Swedish duvet and covers are a great purchase! Thanks, man. It'll be so much easier to play in the bed that way!" stated Jake, adding, "I hope we'll wear each other out!"
"That's what I'm hoping for too!" shouted Tim, kissing Jake right there in the middle of the parking lot. That evening, the drizzle began. They had everything stashed before dinner and for happy hour, Tim put on a fashion show. He was very pleased with his purchases... Jake even more!
It rained for three days. Neither one complained. They often steamed up the wet room, indulged in sharing long, tender massages. They cooked and sipped wine and, of course, played a lot in bed. Their conversations were often metaphysical, rarely superficial.
On the fourth morning, around ten, the Academy called to fix six appointments for private lessons the following week.
"I'll take you over there to meet the headmaster. He's really nice."
"Sounds good to me, Jake."
"I was thinking... would you mind if I introduced you as my brother?"
"Not at all... just brief me about the family in case there's questions."
"Good idea... And, I've got an even better idea. Let's go to Richmond this weekend. I wanted my father to meet you and tell him about how happy we are and all... and ask him to adopt you."
Tim gasped, then squealed, "What?"
"It's possible to adopt adults in Virginia as long as the adopter, if that's the word, is at least fifteen years older than the guy being adopted..."
"How in the world do you know all that?"
"I found it on the internet..."
Tim looked at Jake with a knowing grin, "You're one unbelievable man, Jake Carlson. We really think down the same lines, only you're faster. I'd be honored to become Timothy Carlson. It's sort of like incest and marriage at the same time -- or something weird like that!... Sounds great to me!"
"I'll call my father right now."
"Wait... There's something I've been thinking about too," stated Tim, taking Jake by the hands.
"What's that?"
"Listen Tim... I want... No, I need you to... I don't want to sound vulgar. You always say delicate things so nicely, but I..."
Tim leaned in, their foreheads touching. Jake squeezed Tim's hands and waited.
Tim sighed and then went on, "I'll just say it the way it is. I need you to fuck me. There! I said it!"
"That's..."
Tim interrupted, adding, "I think we should do that before becoming officially brothers, because I'm ready for you to take me... In fact, I'm dying for us to do that."
It was like lightning striking inside Jake's head. He too had been yearning for Tim to fuck him but was too inexperienced to do or say anything about it. So he just smiled, and nodded his consent.
"Jake, I've already greased up a candle and shoved it up my ass. Does't hurt... well, not much, but once it was in, I saw stars. Make me see stars, Jake! Please! I need you in me, deep!"
"Tim, I want you in me too... I want it bad."
Tim exclaimed, "Fuck me first!"
"Hold on... We've done a lot of sucking, stroking, playing and all... but penetrating each other is not just playing harder... it's something more, something deeper is shared, involving us, and..."
Tim put his hand over Jake's mouth, "I know what you mean. It's love all the way. It's making love like lovers do. We are already lovers, Jake, since you love me and I love you. That's why I need you all the way. I don't want just a fuck... I mean, I do want a fuck and I do want to fuck you too, but it's not JUST fucking! It's making love!"
"Lovers first, then brothers. Brothers and lovers," uttered Jake.
"YES!"
The late morning sun flowed through the fiery foliage. Jake smiled, tilting his head, and whispered, "When do we do it?"
"Now!" replied Tim, lifting Jake's caftan.
Nude, his satin skin glowing, haloed in the golden beams flooding the lounge, Tim slowly kissed his way down Jake's athletic body. On his knees he worshiped Jake's perfect cock, licked its moist tip, fondled his balls. Jake was lost in expectation as Tim coaxed him to lay down on his back, whispering, "Just a second..." Tim hastened to the pantry, opened the bottle of massage oil, and returned beaming. He straddled Jake's thighs, anointed Jake's straining cock, then slathered his own hole. Jake moaned as Tim slowly lowered himself, clenching Jake's throbbing glans in the muscular clamp of his anus. Drawing Jake further in, slowly moving together, Tim's own cock began to drool. Tim smothered Jake with kisses, thrusting his tongue into Jake's panting mouth. Jake bucked, instinct took over. Jake grabbed Tim and rolled him over, splaying his slender legs. Tim clawed Jake's buttocks, pulling him deeper in. Jake's sweat dripped onto Tim's entranced face, his mouth agape, squealing as the pace of their merging quickened. Lost together in the spiraling maelstrom of an imminent orgasm, they gasped, grunted, snarled, their souls colliding, fusing together as their bodies shuddered and jerked in unison. Jake arched and howled like a wolf. Tim screamed, enthralled, as Jake's semen filled, fulfilling him.
After a long moment, Tim wiggled out from under his totally extenuated lover and put another log on the fire. Jake rolled over on his side, lost in the miracle of what had just happened. He held out his hand, beckoning Tim to return. Tim melted on him, burying his face in Jake's pit. Then they both began to chuckle, quietly at first, then the chuckles became giggles overflowing into blatant hilarity.
Nothing was said. All was understood. Tim slowly stood, blew Jake a kiss, and limped off to the wet room to take care of his lost virginity. When he came back out, Jake was preparing lunch.
"Are you all right, Tim?"
Tim shrugged, smiled and giggled, "I've never been better! You'll know what I mean this afternoon!"
"YES!"
Jake experienced Tim's penetrating love after a nap together upstairs. He saw stars, galaxies of stars, shooting, exploding, spinning. Then, holding his spent young love, they both purred, knowing that even more love was in the making.
That evening, they didn't feel the need to especially celebrate. Their loving celebrated itself as it would many times more. They knew they would still play, suck, stroke, and lick, but now there was that one something more giving a deeper meaning to everything.
Tim peeled the vegetables for his very yummy version of a Brunswick stew. Jake rang up his father with the phone speaker on.
"Hi Dad, how's life?"
"Fine... and you?"
"Great! Listen, Can Tim and I come down to the house for a visit this weekend? I know it's short notice, but..."
"Who's Tim?"
"That's why I want us to come. Don't go asking questions. Are you free? Can we come tomorrow and stay over to Sunday evening?"
"Sure you can. But who IS Tim?"
"My brother."
"I didn't know you belonged to a fraternity."
Tim was giggling by the sink.
"I've never been in a fraternity, Dad! Tim is my brother... and lover and you're going to love him too!"
Silence on the other end...
"Dad, you still there?"
"Yes... I'm pouring myself a double Scotch."
"Good idea! You can drink to celebrate your very happy son and his new brother! I'll explain things tomorrow. Can we be at the house for lunch?"
Still a bit stunned, Merce responded, "Yeah... fine... I'll tell Hattie -- Damnit boy, are you sure you've not gone crazy?"
"No Dad, I'm not sure... but if being crazy's like this, I'm all for it!"
Merce laughed and said, "Shut up! See you -- and... uh..."
"Tim"
"Yeah, Tim -- see you all tomorrow. I love you."
"Love you too, Dad... and drink only one Scotch."
Merce quipped back, "I said shut up! You know that's impossible. Bye."
Jake just sat there smiling like a raccoon. He took a sip of his wine and looked over at Tim.
"I love you too, Tim."
Tim looked up with tears flowing down his cheeks.
"It's just the onions, Jake..."
"Onions? Adorable liar!"
