Hello all of you out there in the big world! :-) What I wanted to say is that only some aspects of the story are real. Just as a general response for many of you. And yes, of course, the ones interested can ask which of them. That's about it for now! Enjoy and send me the feedback! You know that your feedback keeps the story going! Thanks E for the editing, and all of you for the mails! And of course the usual disclaimer!

Triangle 2
by Marcos Rojas
Oh God, 11 already! I have a talent to skip my mornings... Well, good that I don't have to work. Well, actually I have to but not like that. You see I am a writer. Of course there has to be some kind of inspiration. But as a very good friend of mine once told me, all you have to do is to walk with open eyes through life. And inspiration will come. I always found people attractive as they are. Or not attractive. That depends on the situation... Anyway I have some classes to teach and to write my thesis. I love gathering postmodern literature and to make a synthesis of what it all can be about. I really love poetry about gene technology. See this is why I want to got to this conference to Rome. There is one other specific aspect I enjoy in my life. That is the freedom. See I don't have to be at work at 7 am or to look after a wife or lover. But still sadness pretty often takes control over me. And I hate that, but as long as I can't, won't or whatever find a boyfriend it will be like this.
Breakfast is always annoying. How I wish to have a boy here with me... Anyway, the radio keeps me busy. Having breakfast above the city is the best. People running around, the life of the city down on the streets and me in my private little world up here, drinking cappuccino and eating croissants... Hmmm...
Anyway I have to go to do some shopping too. You know food, candles etc. just things normal people need. This always brings me back down on Earth and reminds me of being human and part of the society. Don't get me wrong, I am a good citizen!!! I pay my taxes and behave civil, help old ladies cross the street, but also I'm one of those who are to blame because of the demographic changes... No children, too many divorced or not married people, or families without children. I am surely a member of that crew too...
I also love to have different types of clothes. Just to be a different person for a couple of hours. You see I had enough of the "what will people say if I dress like this". So now I want to be a French artist, for instance, so I recall some memories, images of long ago seen movies or long ago read novels and I pick some brown squared, a white shirt, some old leather jacket and of course a typical cap. Good to go. With my blond short hair and green eyes I won't be too convincing but I will use my glasses. Just for the sake of the look. So for the next couple of hours I will be living this life. With not too much money in my pocket, just see the city with different eyes!!!
I get on the street and try to picture the world I see. I take the tram. You know our typical blue-white ones. I love Swiss tradition. It is sooo sweet. Anyway it is a different feeling. I like the autumn breeze. Falling leaves...People running around, no one is too late of course. How could they? I think even the ladies do their shopping on time here. The BahnhofstraBe is crowded as always. Most of the passengers get off. The doors close and we resume our journey through the financial heart of the country. I take my eyes off of the city and look at the people. They are busy, each one of them, reading, talking or looking over some papers. Probably contracts. Wow! Well, look what we have here, a human being! This can't be! This guy looks to be late! How can it be? He is probably not from here. Hmmm, nice tie. I always loved men in suits. I hate to wear a suit, but I love good looking guys in suits. And this one is too cute. He has dark brown, almost black hair and a darker skin. He is probably form a Mediterranean country. The cutie. And he is modern and traditional, somehow both in one. And he is lost. In a hurry, but like people in a hurry who are held up in traffic, they obey to the rules of modern society just like birds to their own old routes of traveling through continents and seas. Oh God he has beautiful eyes. He is soo cute. Come on, look at me! Come on, I'm sending you my vibes! Damn it, I'm probably causing serious problems in the communication by now, mobile antennas would not be able to work properly if I keep this going on! Okay, just a little smile! Look at me! L O O K at M E!!! That's it! Finally! Now let's see who will break the eye contact! Are you stronger than me? Oh, you are so tired cutie! Ah, so now you are interested! Oh, great eyes by the way! Now don't set me on fire! Okay, we will definitely need the firemen! Let's try a little smile! I must break you, you are too strong for me! Damn, no one ever resisted so long! Oh God he smiles! I wicked smile! He enjoys it too! Good, but I still have to win! Keep looking at him Rob baby, you can't loose now! The cute enemy needs to obey! Down on your knees sexy man!!! Wait, where do you go? Damn, why do you have to work? Why? Don't get off now! Is this all I get? A smile and a wink? And you go? Nice body by the way. Now let's see the ass and the package! Hmm looks delicious!!!
I want to get off too. I need some fresh air! The breeze coming from the lake touches my face. It is just right with the weak sun, I can take it. It freshens up my mind. Maybe time for a walk on the riverside? I love this clear water. The little boats, everything on this place. I must smile. I love it. It is beautiful. "Follow your inner voice... Close your eyes and let the breeze touch your face. Let the air fill you and take you to..." Bang!!! Auch! That was my head. Well the inner voice obviously had forgotten to tell me to stop and not to run around with closed eyes. I hear a child laugh and turn my head. A cute little boy is standing there with his backpack in his hands. I love these little kids. Dressed so sweetly, this typical kid you know... I just love it!
"You find it funny? You know this really hurts!" I'm trying to build up a conversation with this cute little kid. The expression on his face is just precious. I love kids! He doesn't know what to say, he can't decide whether he has offended me or not. I love it! I decide to wink and give him a full smile. You know, just like in the toothpaste spots...
"So where are you heading? Isn't it a bit late to go to school?" Well down idiot! Now he looks lost again! Don't do that kid! I hate it when children start crying.
"Look, can I help you? I`m also late, and maybe we can go together to school! That way it will be the two of us, who come too late!" Oh, fortunately that helped!
"I don't know where the kindergarten is!" He almost cries.
"We can figure that out! We both are clever guys, aren't we? Now come let's talk it over." Again that scared look. What on earth have I done wrong?
"But I am not allowed to talk to strangers! And you are a stranger!" OK, clever kid! Now what the hell am I supposed to say? Come on mind, work! I can't hold this plastic smile on my face any longer! I hate myself you know, sometimes my mind works like a computer, you see, just like when you type in the search field a name and than the scan begins. Searching... Searching... And sometimes the `no matches found'. Just like now! What the hell am I supposed to do? I really don't want to mess up somebody's education now, do I?
"You know what? Let's call your parents, and see if they allow us to go together to the kindergarten! I call and you speak! How about that?" I saw a sparkle in his eyes.
"So we have a deal! Give me five!" It works! I'm a genius! Applause, applause! Too bad there were no spectators. No-one will believe me! Anyway I pull out my cell phone and call his mother. The boy's face is sad. He's getting worried.
"What's wrong?"
"She isn't at home!"
"So let's call her at work!"
"I don't know the number!" with some tears in his eyes. Of course!
"Now take it easy! Let's go to the kindergarten!"
"I got lost..." he starts crying.
"Don't worry! Just tell me the address! Where is the kindergarten?"
"It is in the big grey building." Great! How many grey buildings are in the city? And what is big for him and what is big for me? Now I'm really in trouble!
"Well, you should come home with me and we will try to call your mother later. You can't stay on the street."
"But I can't go with you! I must tell Mom! The machine picks it up and she she isn't..."
"Don't cry! Come here! We'll leave a message on the answering machine with the address we are going to, and as soon as Mom or Dad gets home they can pick you up there! How is that?"
"Okay I guess!" Now that's it! "By the way I`m Robert!"
"Christian..."
"Well Christian, are you hungry?"
"Just a bit!"
"Okay, we'll eat something at my place! Do you like trams? Can we take the tram? Is it fun?"
"Yeah! I love it! Can we take the new one?"
"Of course!" What happens to the traditions? I mean we have ONE new tram, a prototype, and the kid wants to take that! Now let's see IF it is on our route. Should be...
I'm lucky again! Thanks buddy up there! I guess I'll have to go to church! I can't really postpone it anymore... Anyway, it's fun! I love the way people look at me. They think I'm Christian's father! Cool! At least this way I can be a father for one day! Great! The kid is so sweet!
"Come on Christian! We have to get off here!" He stops and looks at me.
"What?"
"You are supposed to hold my hand!" And he gives me his little hand! God, he is so sweet!
"Sorry, I forgot about that, come on! We have to hurry!"
The hours passed so quickly. I left a message on the answering machine. I mean we left, Christian said the first part, I said the second with the details. You know parents, I just wanted to make sure it was all made by the book. Around 4 pm the phone rings. We are watching some kind of cartoon I have downloaded from the net for Christian.
"Yeah, speaking! Just a second, your son wants to talk to you!" It is sooooo sweet. And he is now perfectly calm. I love it! He is just sweet! She will pick him up at 8 pm, she can't make it sooner. That's fine with me! We eat some pizza and sit in the winter garden. You see I have this huge terrace and a winter garden too. I can open it though, and that way I have an even bigger one. It is great!
It is 8:15 and Christian gets worried. I don't know what to show him anymore. Finally we are looking up some trees in a book. He is drawing! He's explaining how I have to draw! It is sooo sweet!!! Someone's ringing. I just press the button and start packing Christian's backpack. Kids just have a natural talent in spreading their few belongings everywhere in the house.
The doorbell rings just as I'm in the process of dressing Christian. He starts running with a only one half of the coat on. I run along since I have no other option. He opens the door. All I can see are stylish black shoes and black pants.
"Sorry, he was in such a hurry!" I look up and the world starts spinning! This can't be! I blush and he blushes.
"Oh, sorry, I thought his mother will pick him up." I finally manage to say.
"She couldn't make it. She works late. Ahm, anyway..." Oh those blue eyes!
"So, sorry for the inconvenience..." He starts to speak again. And looks around. We still stand there, he outside, us in the flat, Christian looking up, always at the speaker.
"Oh, come on in, sorry I am such a bad host. Please, excuse me!" I feel my facial capillaries filling with blood. Damn, why do I have to blush? I look horrible when I'm all red!
"I wouldn't want to disturb you. It is a big inconvenience." He looks down at Christian and strokes the kid's hair.
"No, believe me, he is such a great kid! You did a great job educating him!"
"So, it is really some coincidence, huh?" He tries to keep the conversation alive looking away.
"Yeah. Sorry for saying it, but you looked pretty tired in the tram this morning..." He gives me a killer smile. He is tired. But his eyes are radiating. His face expresses the features of a calm, very tired man.
"Oh, the young man here will cheer me up!" Aha, so you need your son to cheer you up. Poor woman, how can you do such a bad job??? Not with this GOD!!! Woman, you are one hell of a looser! But wait...
"Oh sorry, my name is Robert. I totally forgot about courtesy and stuff."
"Antonio Morassi. I am a bit tired too..." Let me help you out! Just lay down on the couch and take your clothes off... No! Let me take your clothes off! Argh! Bloody hormones! Down boy!
"Ahm, you look tired too..." He moves towards the door.
"Well Antonio, in case you need any help, don't hesitate to call me. You liked it here Christian didn't you?" Please say yes...
"Actually we have a girl..." He is saying his routine text now. He doesn't care... He looks at me. I'm trying to give a forced `I got the message" smile. He looks into my eyes searchingly, looks away for a second, swallows and says "Still, I might consider your offer."
"Let me write my number down. I hand him the number and he touches my fingers. He maintains the contact just a bit too long, but again he is looking down and then gives me a sad smile."
"Well, I will be looking forward to hear from you. Bye Christian! Come visit me soon!"
"Yes, thank you again! Oh, I almost forgot! Here's my card. Call me anytime if I can help you." He swallows again. "Better in the office. I have more privacy there." never looking at me.
"Good night Robert!" and he leaves without shaking hands. He takes the little hand I took a couple of hours ago and heads towards the elevator.
I close the door and collapse right there, with my back against the door, push the button and close my eyes.
`Now the lights are blowing out, I can feel my love so strong, when the moon is getting down, it doesn't matter if I'm wrong, Show me, show me that your love is growing, that you goanna give me your love tonight. Show me, show me that your love is burning, Make me feel your lovin' tonight...'
To be continued?
Well, what do you think? Should I continue? Waiting for your mail!
