As always, if you're not supposed to be here, please leave. In other words, if men kissing,
fucking, or doing anything remotely sexual offends, disgusts, or angers you then you should get
out of here. This story includes sex between two men. But it is at heart, a love story. Plenty of
sap, romance, and professions of love. So be warned. This work is copyrighted and may not be

Comments, suggestions, complaints are all much appreciated and welcomed at

I thank everyone for e-mailing me with comments, good or bad, suggestions, etc.
Keep em coming. It's the only way I know if I'm doing a good job or not.

Enjoy,

"Green Eyed Boy" - Dolly Parton

~~~~~~~~~~
>From last time...
I felt a shift of the bed and suddenly, Alan, my Alan who I dreamed about all day, was there,
lying on top of me. I opened my eyes to his smiling face.
"I love you." I said again with even more conviction.
"I know." He said beaming. "I love you too."
"Alan." I said remembering what I'd did to him. "I just... I wanted you to know I'm..."
He covered my mouth. "Shhh. Just shut up for now and kiss me."
And I did.
Chapter Five - Green Eyed Boy
~~~~~~~~~~

I hadn't woken up with someone in my bed for months. Let me rephrase that. I hadn't woken up
with another man in my bed for months. It was an incredibly odd, but at the same time, incredibly
wonderful experience.

I was on my back and Alan had his head resting on my chest. I could feel his warm breath on me.
It was something that I could get used to very quickly. I glanced at the clock. It was only six
thirty. Still another hour before I had to wake up today. I ran my fingers lazily through his hair
and smiled, thinking about what had happened last night.

It was just... absolutely wonderful. Just having him in my arms. Being able to kiss him freely.
Being able to roam my hands all over his smooth, silky body.

No don't go getting the wrong idea. There was lots of kissing and maybe even some below the
belt touching. But last night's activities included no sex. And truthfully, that was fine with me. It
seemed that we were both clearly exhausted with everything that led up to last night.

But I also found out that I was completely correct with my earlier assessments of Alan's...
abilities. The boy knew how to kiss. But beyond that, he was just so gentle, so kind. His
personality shone through so clearly. It was absolutely wonderful.

Sex with Will was always good. He was definitely a thorough lover. And we loads and loads of
it. But it was never as intimate as I wanted it to be. It was always "wham, bam, thank you mam."
And that was it. After that, he moved over to his side of the bed.

But with Alan, he held on to me like I was a lifesaver or something. Again, not that we'd actually
had sex yet but still, it was such a good feeling. To want someone and have them want you back
just as much.

That was never the case with Will. I had thought it was, but as we all know, I was sorely
mistaken.

Alan cuddled closer to me as the morning breeze blew in through the window.

I smiled and shook myself from my thoughts. Enough comparisons. It really wasn't fair to either
of them and it wasn't fair to me. Will was my past now. I forgave him for my reasons, my own
needs. And he could do whatever he wanted with that forgiveness. I just needed to get on with
my own future. And, much to my delight, the guy sleeping next to me was very much part of that
future.

"Whatcha thinking about?" He asked with his eyes closed.

I laughed. "How'd you know I was thinking if you still have your eyes closed?"

He smiled and rolled on top of me, still not opening his eyes. "I'm psychic."

"I won't kiss you till you show me your eyes." I said, smiling.

"Well, when you make an offer like that..." He said, his piercing green eyes gleaming at me.

I smiled. "Morning gorgeous."

His lips met mine for a soft, tender kiss.

He broke it and looked at me with a horribly sappy grin on his face. "You do realize we're
sickening right?"

"Well yeah." I said, running my fingers up his face. "But we're allowed to be sickening for the
first few weeks. It's like a rule."

"Is that so?"

"It is."

He sat up and straddled me, causing my already rock hard morning wood to become... well let's
just say it excited me. He wiggled around laughing. "Looks like someone is pretty excited this
morning." He reached behind and grabbed me. "Jesus... you're huge."

I smiled. "Let's not be dramatic here."

He laughed. "Where the fuck did that thing come from? Last night when I saw you, it... it wasn't
that big."

I pulled him back down to me and kissed him again. "Calm down there big boy." My hands
snaked under the sheet to search. And I found what I was looking for. "Looks like you shouldn't
be talking."

He smiled. "Aw shucks."

And with that, we both collapsed into laughter. And I realized something.

"If I knew it'd be like this, I'd have told ya I loved you at the party." I said, smiling.

He rubbed my belly. "Such a sweet talker." He wiggled his eyebrows. "So we do have like an
hour before class..." He said, grinding his hard cock with mine.

And with that I skillfully flipped him over and was out of the bed. "Not so fast Casanova. We're
gonna use that hour to go on a nice long run. Then we're gonna go to class. And then I have to go
quit my job. Then..." I pounced him. "... we're going on our first date. And then..." I wiggled my
eyebrows seductively. "... we can consummate this relationship."

He smiled. "Or you could just fuck my brains out right now."

I laughed. "I love you. You know that?"

He nodded. "I kinda got that feeling."

I stood up and stretched. "Come on then. Let's get a move on it."

I walked over to my dresser to look for some shorts to throw on. Standing there, searching for an
extra pair of socks, I felt two arms wrap around my chest and a warm breath on my neck.

"I can't wait." He whispered seductively, his finger traveling down my spine.

I moaned. "Tonight."

"Now." He whispered forcefully.

And with that, he spun me around and his lips mashed with mine. Morning breath, or no morning
breath, it was the best, most intense kiss I'd ever shared with anyone.

He looked into my eyes, his own glazed with passion. "I need you now."

He lifted me up against the dresser and wrapped my legs around his waist.

I gasped as my dick rubbed up against his taut stomach. "Jesus, you're fucking strong."

He smiled. "How we gonna do this babe?" He asked, his tongue bathing my neck

I smiled, my heart melting at the sound of him calling me babe. What can I say?

"Only one way I know how." I said stupidly. And then I realized what he was asking. "Oh. Well
with..." I almost said his name. "... before I was always the receiver. I liked that." I said honestly.
Normally I'd be incredibly shy talking about something like this, but I guess being naked, pressed
up against the hottest guy in the world with a raging hard on kinda limited my inhibitions a bit.

He smiled and gave me another kiss that curled my toes. "To the bed then." He said in his best
superhero voice.

I could only moan as he returned to playing with my ass.

He backed his way up back to the bed, never letting go of me and his fingers never leaving where
they needed to be. He fell backwards, with me landing on top of him.

He flipped me over and began to ravish my left nipple. He looked up at me. "I wanted this ever
since I laid eyes on you. That night at the party. You were just... gorgeous." He said, his tongue
skillfully bathing my chest. He looked up at me again. "I knew it'd be this good." He said
smiling. He was slowly making his way downward and I knew that there was no time for that.

I stopped him and he looked up at me confused.

I smiled. "Relax. It's just that we don't exactly have all the time in the world here. And if you
start that, then this party will be over way too soon."

"Oh." And as if something clicked in his head, he looked up at me. "I don't want to do it like
this."

Suddenly, it was my turn to be confused. "Um... okay." I said totally dejected.

He smiled and snaked his way up my body until our faces were touching. "Let me rephrase that. I
want to do this. Badly. But I don't want it to just be a fuck." He smiled. "I wanna make love to
you Lukie. It's all I've been thinking about, dreaming about, wanting." His rested his chin on
mine.

It was in that moment that I realized why I'd fallen for this guy.

"Is that okay?" He asked hesitantly.

I smiled. "Its perfectly okay."

He grinded against me. "What do we do with these things though? Mine's so hard I could cut
through granite."

I laughed. And then I got an idea. "I could tell you what's gonna happen tonight." I whispered
seductively.

"Oh really? And just what will happen."

"First, I undress you down to only your underwear, your incredibly sexy underwear."

He smiled. "Note to self. Buy sexy underwear."

I grabbed hold of his leaking cock. "And then I give this thing the tongue bath of a lifetime
through the fabric." I began to stroke.

"And..." he moaned.

I stroked faster. "Then I slowly, seductively lower them until your aching, hard, leaking cock
springs forward to greet my waiting lips."

I smiled as his moans grew louder. "And..." he squeaked.

"I lick the underside and then bring my tongue back up to that perfect mushroom head, greedily
licking the precum that's formed there. And..."

He let out a loud moan and finally erupted into my hand. The sensation was way too much for me
to handle and I followed.

We laid there panting for what must have been ten minutes. He had his head resting on my chest
and it kept bobbing up and down quickly because of my heavy breathing.

Finally, he looked up at me and smiled. "You came just like that?" He asked me in amazement.

I laughed. "It was weird. But just the thought of you and me and..." My cock started to come
back to life. "See."

He shook his head. "That was...." He sighed dramatically. "... amazing." He moved up to give me
a kiss. "Tonight's gonna be even better."

~~~~~~~~~~
"So was it as good as you expected?" Simon asked me gleefully as soon as I walked into the
club.
I decided to feign innocence. "I haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about."
He laughed. "Don't get all Scarlet O'Hara on me. I know that look."
I smiled genuinely. "Let's just say I'm happy with the way that things turned out." And that was
the truth. Everything had gone perfectly so far. I wouldn't change any of it.
"I'm happy for you." He smiled. "And I told you everything would work out.:
"I know. I was just worried." I thought of something. "He's gonna stop by here after to pick me
up." I smiled shyly. "That's okay, right?"
Simon laughed. "I'd be more angry if he didn't come. I'm dying to meet him." He clapped his
hands together. "So what have you got for me? Any new songs?"
I nodded. "I thought of two that I definitely wanna include. What kind of time frame are we
talking here?"
"When will you be ready?" shouted Hank from the office
I smiled as he appeared in the doorway.
"Cause we could use you as soon as you are." He smiled before heading back in.
"Well I quit my job today so I'll definitely have some time on my hands. Can you give me like..."
I shook my head back and forth. "... a week?"
Simon nodded. "That's perfect. It'll give me a chance to build up the anticipation." His eyes lit
up. "Can you do one song tonight?" He noticed my apprehension. "It's just that tonight's always
our busiest and I want something to whet their appetites."
I nodded. "Well it isn't that. It's just... we were supposed to have our first real date tonight." I
almost threw in that we were supposed to also have our first real romp in the sack but I realized
that Simon would have way too much fun with that comment.
His face fell. "Oh. Well okay then. I'll just have to build the anticipation by word of mouth."
I felt bad. They had been so kind what with giving me the job and advice about Alan. Not to
mention the new guitar. I didn't want to let them down.
"I'll do it." I said.
Simon smiled. "You're sure?"
I nodded. "Yeah. I'll talk to Alan. We can do something after. It'll fine."
"You don't have to." Hank said from inside the office.
I shook my head. "No. I want to." And I did. "It's actually kind of exciting to think that I'll be
singing in front of people. Nerve-racking but exciting too."
"Knock, knock." Came a voice as the door opened.
I smiled with my back to the door. I knew exactly who it was. And my heart did a small flutter. It
really was quite sickening. We'd seen each other this morning and... well we did more than see
each other. And then we drove to class. After that he dropped me off at my old job and he told
me he'd meet me here because he had to do some shopping. A spine tingling kiss that left me
wanting so much more, and he was gone.
In the time I spent walking over from the restaurant to the club, I tried to sort out my feelings a
little. Was I going to fast? Was I jumping in head first again? Was I becoming to dependent on
another person? The answer to all three of those questions was a big resounding yes. But for
some odd reason, it really didn't bother me much. I wanted to go fast. I wanted to jump in head
first. I wanted to depend on someone. Maybe I was just a glutton for punishment. I don't know.
But as I turned around and saw Alan standing there with his bag slung over his shoulder, with a
smile on his face, with his cargo pants tight in just the right places, I knew that this couldn't be
wrong. There was nothing wrong here. For once everything was right.
He smiled. "Hey."
Before I could even get a word out, Simon was in front of me, introducing himself. It looked,
more accurately, as if he were inspecting my find. He walked around Alan, looking him up and
down, from head to toe. Finally he stopped in front of him. Poor, poor Alan had a mixed look of
annoyance and fear on his face. Simon turned back to face me.
"I very much approve." He said with a sly grin.
I laughed. "Well thank you." I said sarcastically. "Now would you stop ogling my boyfriend and
go take care of your own big hunk o' man."
He smiled. "Touché." He turned back to Alan. "I'm Simon."
"Alan. Nice to meet you." My green eyed boy told him.
That gave me an idea. "How about "Green Eyed Boy?"
Both of them looked at me as if I was nuts.
"Excuse me." Simon asked.
"The song for tonight. "Green Eyed Boy." Tell me you don't know it."
He nodded. "I know it. I just... it's an odd..." He glanced at Alan and as if on key, his green eyes
sparkled. "Oh." He said with a sense of recognition. "That's perfect."
"What's perfect?" asked Hank, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.
"Lukie's song choice for tonight." Simon said.
"Tonight?" Alan asked confused.
I smiled shyly. "Um... yeah. I was wondering if I could talk to you about that. Simon wants me to
do one song tonight. Kinda like a preview for when I start the show." His face didn't really
register anything and I got worried. "I could just cancel though. It's not a big deal..."
"No." He said, finally smiling. Thank God. "It's fine."
Hank nudged Simon. "I need your help with some papers." They walked back into the office.
I turned around to make my way to one of the tables when I felt two strong arms spin me around
and pull me into a kiss. I was a bit taken aback at first but, of course, I eased into it.
He pulled back and smiled. "I missed ya."
I breathed a sigh of relief. "You're not mad?"
Alan laughed. "No. I just was a bit overwhelmed. I didn't expect him to be..."
"Too much." I finished for him.
He laughed. "Exactly." He held onto me. "What I have planned for tonight can wait a bit."
I smiled. "Oh really? And what exactly do you have planned for tonight?"
"That..." He pecked me on the lips. "... is a very, very, very big surprise."
I nodded. "I see."
He nodded. "So this green eyed boy. Who might he be?"
I shook my head. "Wouldn't you like to know?"
"I think I already do." He winked at me.
"You're gonna come tonight right?" I asked excitedly. I really did want him there.
He laughed. "Hopefully five or six times."
"That was too corny... even for you."
He pulled me closer and whispered, "I'll be here. Wouldn't miss it for the world."
~~~~~~~~~~

"The dress code for tonight. Is it formal?" I asked over the phone.

Alan laughed. "That one's just too easy. I'm not even going there."

I smiled. "I'm dating a pervert."

"And oh so proud of it baby." He said, exaggerating his southern accent.

I laughed. "Alright I'm gonna go shower and get ready."

"Okay. I'll pick you up at six thirty?"

"Sounds good." And then I added softly, "I love you." He was silent for a moment and I got a bit
nervous. "You still there?"

"Yeah." I could hear the smile in his voice. "It's just... this is nice, you know? Talking to you
over the phone and knowing we're together and..." He laughed. "... I'm making no sense am I?"

I sighed, blinking back tears. "You're making perfect sense."

He cleared his throat. "Alright, go get ready. And I love you too."

With that, we both hung up and I sat there with the most goofy, sickening smile on my face.

The truth was, I knew exactly how he felt. Our courtship was short, to put it mildly. But that did
not mean that it wasn't turbulent, what with my own issues about the everything. Yet, as corny
and old fashioned as it sounded, the minute that I laid eyes on him at Pete and Meg's party, I
knew that we had some sort of special connection. Was it love at first sight? Maybe. But there
was certainly a spark there that was only solidified more every time we'd see each other.

I walked into my bedroom, still giddy as a schoolgirl, and began to rifle through my closet to
look for something to wear. I heard a soft knock on my door.

"It's open."

The door opened and I turned around to find my brother, sweaty and dirty, fresh from a day's
work. He was holding a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses.

I smiled. "Those are nice. For Meg?"

He laughed. "No actually..." He said, handing me the card. "... they're for you."

I took the card from him, a bit confused. I slit the envelope open and fished out the little
notecard. "Alan." I said, more to myself than to Pete. It read, "For my favorite person in the
whole wide world. Break a leg tonight. I love you. Alan. P.S., I know you'll get the whole yellow
roses thing."

"I take it the Alan thing worked out?" Asked my brother, breaking me from my daze.

"Yeah." I said simply, suddenly a little embarrassed. To me, it was romantic. But to others, it
might have seemed a bit on the sappy side. I needn't have worried.

Pete laughed. "I knew I heard moans other than yours coming from this room this morning. I just
thought you were having a really good dream."

I'm sure my face must have changed several shades of red.

That caused him to laugh even harder. "Relax. You think I wouldn't be happy? Look at that look
on your face." He placed the flowers on my desk. "You look alive for the first time in..." He
shook his head. "... I don't know how long."

"You're not mad then?" I asked cautiously.

He leaned against the wall. "Why would I be mad?"

"Well... I... I just didn't want..."

He smiled. "What did I tell you from the beginning?"

I shrugged. "I know but..."

"What did I tell you?" He interrupted me again.

I finally conceded. "You said that I was who I was and you didn't care what I did or who I did it
with just so long as I was safe."

"And?"

I smiled. "And that you still loved me as much as you did before."

He beamed. "Damn, I'm a mighty fine brother." He looked at me seriously. "He's a good guy?"

"The best." I said softly.

"Good. Now go back to getting ready." He walked to the doorway.

"Oh." I said remembering something. "I forgot to tell you I got a new job."

Pete looked at me surprised. "Really? Where?"

"It's a singing gig at a club." I smiled. "Pays two hundred and fifty bucks a gig. And they want
me to sing at least three nights a week." I said excitedly. "That means that I can start paying for
my own books and start giving you..."

He held his hand up. "I am not taking rent off of you." He said forcefully. I went to protest but he
stopped me again. "Lukie, you're my brother. If you can't count on family then who can you
count on? You have never asked me for one thing. Hell you got a full scholarship to law school
so I didn't have to pay the tuition." He shook his head. "You save your money. And that's what it
is, yours." He said smiling. And then he thought of something. "Amend that. Spend some of it.
You deserve to."

"Thanks."

He shrugged. "Damn, you've been busy. A new job, new man." He smiled. "I'm proud of you.
Daddy would be too." He added quietly, pulling me into a hug.

"I want you to come hear me sing one night."

He smiled. "You couldn't keep me away." He pulled back. "Alright, I smell."

"Well I wasn't gonna mention it." I laughed.

"Meg and me are going out tonight. Have fun and..."

"Be safe." I added for him.

He laughed and walked out of my room.

I went back to my closet trying to find exactly what I should wear tonight.

Forty minutes later, the contents of my closet were now spread all over my bed. I slipped on my
last pair of jeans, sans underwear. What? I felt naughty tonight. I pulled on a green tee shirt that I
forgot I had and over that I put on a white button down shirt with really light green horizontal
stripes. I figured I'd keep with the whole green theme tonight.

I walked over to my mirror and checked myself out. Usually, I always hated the way that I looked
but I don't know if it was because of the mood that I was in today but I was actually pleased with
my outfit choice. I ran my fingers through my hair and slipped on my brown sandals. Splashing
myself with some cologne, I gave myself another quick once over and knew that I was ready for
whatever tonight would hold.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Luke." Simon shrieked. "You look fan fucking tabulous." Something told me he might have
been a little bit on the drunk side. Not sloshed but just drunk enough to have completely no
inhibitions whatsoever. Then again, Simon didn't really have too many inhibitions as it was.
I shrugged as Alan held onto to my hand from behind. The place was absolutely packed. I guess I
really didn't know what to expect. I wasn't exactly sure what kind of clientele they had but from
the looks of it, it was a pretty gay oriented crowd. And it really was not a club per se. It really
was like a nice lounge with music. There wasn't any dancing or shirtless go go boys or anything
like that.
Simon spotted Alan. "Ditto for you my dear."
He blushed. "Thanks."
Simon laughed. "I know I can come off a bit...
"... too much." Hank interrupted as he walked up behind him.
Simon nodded. "Yeah. But I mean well."
Alan nodded and smiled. "It's alright."
Hank looked at me. "You ready?"
I shrugged. "As ready as I'll ever be."
He walked up to the small stage in the front and after a few seconds, the crowd quieted down.
Hank laughed. "Am I that scary?" Someone shouted yes and he laughed.
As he was talking to the crowd, I felt two arms wrap around me from behind.
"You nervous?" Alan whispered in my ear.
I laughed. "Kinda. And kinda not. I really just wanna get it over with so that we can get out of
here and..."
He laughed. "I know. Me too." He kissed the small of my neck. "I love you, ya know."
"Is that so?" I asked smiling. "I wouldn't have guessed."
And with that I heard Hank call my name. Alan pinched my ass and that caused me to take a
jump forward. I silently cursed him and made my way up to the stage, suddenly aware that every
single pair of eyes in there were on me as I did.
After what seemed like an hour, I got up to the stage and walked up the two small steps. Hank
gave me a bone crushing hug.
"Knock em dead." He whispered in my ear.
I sat down on the stool and still, was a bit overwhelmed at all of the faces in the place staring
directly at me. I went to reach down for my guitar and realized that in my haste to get to the
stage, I'd left it back by Alan. Trying to be as subtle as possible, I tried to make eye contact with
him but he just smiled and blew me a kiss.
I smiled shyly at the audience. "Well... um... like Hank said, I'm Luke Jones."
I guess they could tell I was a big bundle of nerves because most of them just laughed.
I laughed too and became a bit more at ease. "In my haste to get up here, I kinda forgot my guitar
back there. And um... I'm gonna need it."
Alan was up there in two seconds flat. He stood on the first step and held it out to me when I got
an idea. I had a feeling that it'd relax me a bit and it sure the fuck would embarrass him.
"This here is Alan everyone." He blushed. "He's... um... well he's my boyfriend." He blushed
even deeper, as there were a few oohs and ahs from the audience. I bent down and kissed him
lightly on the lips which caused a louder ruckus of oohs and ahs. I pulled back. "For luck." I said.
He did a smile/blush kinda combo thing and took a seat at the table in front of the stage. The guy
next to him gave him a smile and a pat on the back.
I looked out at the crowd again. "Anyway, Hank and Simon aren't paying me to sit up here and
look pretty. I have one song for y'all tonight. It's a Dolly Parton song." There were some cheers.
"She's a fantastic songwriter. You'll be hearing me sing her a lot." I sat back down and cradled
the guitar. "This one's called "Green Eyed Boy." It's special to me for a few reasons. And..." I
said looking directly at Alan, "... I dedicate it to my very own green eyed boy with love."
I closed my eyes and started to play. I finished the instrumental intro and started to sing.
I flew off to the wild blue yonder
'Cause I had a dream
And I had to go
But I'm filled with a sense of wonder
>From the love I shared
With a green-eyed boy
Lips as sweet as mountain honey
A body warm as home made wine
But he had no dreams
And no means for money
But he had me just anytime
Take me back, if just in memory
Fill my cup again with joy
The fire still burns in the old rock chimney
And I still burn for that green-eyed boy
Now he was pretty
With chiseled features
Like the movie stars in the magazines
My first love and the son of a preacher
I fantasized he was James Dean
But the world outside kept pulling at me
Offered me fame, respect, and gold
Designer clothes and a fancy mansion
Expensive cars, so I chose those
Take me back, if just in memory
Fill my cup again with joy
The fire still burns in the old rock chimney
And I still burn for that green-eyed boy
I strummed a little more and then finished it off by looking directly at Alan. He was beaming. I
stopped playing and did the last part acapella.
Do you think about me?
When the nights are long and cold?
Will you always love me?
Will ya? My green-eyed boy
After that, it was really all a blur. I know that Alan was the first one on his feet, clapping. The
rest of the crowd followed after. I blushed profusely as they clapped and I spotted Simon and
Hank beaming in the back near the bar.
I finally made my way down off the stage where Alan greeted me with a big wet one in front of
everyone there. I talked for what seemed like hours to different people in the crowd. Most of
them knew the song and everybody seemed to like it. Apparently, Hank had sent around a tip jar
or something and altogether I'd made something like three hundred dollars.
It didn't really matter though. Just being up there in front of all those people and with Alan, my
Alan sitting in the front. That was like a natural high on its own.
After talking with everyone, I made my way back to the bar where Alan was waiting for me.
"You ready?" He asked me with a sexy smile.
"Oh yeah."
And I was. I was ready for a night that I hoped neither of us would forget.
~~~~~~~~~~

Okay. Well that one was probably the sappiest chapter I've written so far. My original plan was
to inject some form of conflict in here, mainly regarding Hank and Simon's back story but after a
really draining chapter of "The Grass is Blue," I wanted to make this one as happy and saccharine
as I could. Plus today's my birthday so I kinda did it as a birthday present for myself. Because for
me, as you all should know, the sappier - the better.

Anyway, I hope everyone liked it. And a happy Saint Patrick's Day to everyone!
