Chapter 31
Kolby smiled, he and his new friend walking into the restaurant, Cal following close behind.
Timothée had called Cal while Kolby had been finishing his audition, telling the bodyguard where they’d meet for a late lunch.
Here now they’d walked into a lower Manhattan Italian restaurant, Kolby spotting his man immediately at one of the back tables.
He smiled, pulling his new friend along with him, Cal smiling towards his man sitting with Timothée and Austin.
As they approached, Eliot’s eyes widened, immediately identifying the two actors coming into view, the young man stopping abruptly.
“My God! That’s…that’s…Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler!” he squeaked, Kolby chuckling, patting his friend’s back.
“Yep, indeed it is! Who’s hotter, do you think?!” he grinned, Cal chuckling behind the two young men.
Eliot’s eyes met Kolby’s, staring at him, the young man blushing deeply.
“They’re…they’re your friends?!” he softly said blushing, Kolby nodding, smiling at him.
“Yes indeed, Eli. Cal here and the other man with them are Timothée’s bodyguards and also my friends.” Kolby smiled, Eliot looking at Cal, the man smiling at him.
Kolby patting his back again, smiling.
“Relax, my friend. They’re both amazing, nice guys.” Kolby smiled, winking at Cal, the man chuckling again.
“Some more so.” Cal laughed, Kolby chuckling, pushing his new friend forward.
Timothée and Austin both smiled, all three standing up, Dee looking at the young man with Kolby, Kolby seeing the man’s protective nature on full view as usual.
The two actors smiled at Kolby, he and Eli walking up to the table, Timothée’s green pools meeting Kolby’s green.
“How did it go, Kobe?” Timothée smiled; Cal not having known that truth when Timothée had talked to him on the phone.
Kolby smiled, introducing his new friend.
“This is Eliot Tanner, everyone. He and I are two of the five new students at Mannes School of Music!” Kolby grinned widely, Timothée beaming, pulling the young man into his arms hugging him tightly, nothing more able to be shown in the crowded restaurant.
“That’s awesome, Kobe!” Timothée smiled, widely, breaking their hug, Austin the next to hug Kolby, the young man feeling his warmth and friendship.
“That’s awesome, Kobe! I told you that you would have no problem!” Austin smiled, Eliot quietly staring at the handsome actor and Timothée, both men smiling at him, Dee patting Kolby’s shoulder with congratulations.
“I guess congrats are in order for you as well, Eliot. Hi, I’m Timothée.” Timothée smiled, walking up to the young man extending his hand, Eliot blushing.
“Thank you, Mr. Chalamet. I’m a big fan.” he softly said, Timothée smiling at him, patting his shoulder as they shook hands.
“It’s just Timothée, Eliot. Any friend of Kobe’s is my guaranteed friend.” he smiled, Austin walking up to the young man as well, smiling at him, extending his hand as well.
Eliot stared at the handsome actor, Austin smiling and staring at him as well.
“Congratulations, Eliot. And I’m just Austin.” he smiled, Kolby smiling at his new friend, seeing the stunned look across his face, the two men staring at each other as they shook hands.
“Thanks…thank you, Mr. Butler…I mean Austin.” the young man softly said blushing, Austin smiling at him, still watching him.
“This calls for celebratory drinks.” Austin smiled, hugging Kolby again, he and Eliot sitting down at the table, Dee making room for Cal after Kolby had introduced Dee to Eliot, the bodyguard smiling and shaking his hand, Cal smiling at his man, the two kissing, Eliot’s eyes widening in shocked surprise, Kolby chuckling, patting his friend’s arm beside him.
“They’re partners in work and love.” Kolby smiled, Cal smiling at the staring young man.
“Sorry, sexy, I’m taken.” Cal grinned, Eliot blushing, Kolby laughing, Timothée looking at his man, so wanting to do the same.
Kolby winked at him, Timothée seated on his other side, one hand joined with his under the table, squeezing it gently.
Austin smiled at the new young man at their table, Eliot’s eyes glancing at him.
“Congratulations to you both. Champagne is a must!” Austin smiled, waving over a waiter, the man ordering a bottle.
Everyone smiled, Timothée looking at his man.
“Tell us everything, Kobe.” he said, Kolby smiling his secret smile at his man, feeling Timothée’s hand let go of his under the table.
“Before or after the drama?” Cal smiled, Eliot lowering his eyes, Kolby patting his shoulder again.
Kolby walked everyone through the day, Eliot adding some things, such as Kolby’s amazing audition, and the classical music director’s crying on stage after.
Everyone smiled at a softly blushing Kolby, Timothée so wanting to kiss him.
Kolby went on with the details, he and Cal filling them in on the final drama concerning Eliot’s mother.
Austin’s hand went to the young man shoulder, he seated on his other side, Eliot looking at him.
“You showed a lot of courage, Eliot. Your adopted mother has no right to stop you in achieving your dreams. She sounded like a real nutcase. Sorry for saying that.” he said, smiling at the young man.
“It’s okay, Mr. Butler. I’ve known that for a long time.” Eliot softly said, Austin smiling and patting his shoulder.
“It’s just Austin, Eliot.” he smiled, Eliot smiling at the handsome actor.
“Sorry, Austin. And I’m just Eli, everyone.” he smiled, the waiter returning with a bottle of champagne, Dee and Cal only taking half a glass, the others smiling at the two guards.
“Here’s to music’s new students! Two amazing young talented men. Congrats Kobe and Eli!” Austin smiled, toasting the two young men, all cheering them, taking a sip of the sweet drink, the two young men beaming.
The six chatted, ordering lunch, Eli gradually relaxing, seeing the two stars as just normal men, the two drawing him into their conversations.
He smiled more, Kolby seeing him coming gradually out of his shell.
The meal was amazing; Timothée, Kolby and Eli splitting a pepperoni and sausage x-large pizza, all three relishing its gooey taste.
Austin, Dee and Cal all ordered pasta dishes, the three savoring their Italian taste.
After lunch the six sat drinking coffee and finishing off the champagne, all relaxing with friendship.
Eliot saw Kolby’s deep friendship with Timothée and Austin, the young man sighing, Kolby catching his sudden quietness.
“Penny for your thoughts Eli.” he smiled, Eliot looking around at everyone.
“Where do I go from here, Kobe? I can’t go back to my hotel room; my mother would think she’s won.” he softly said, Kolby’s eyes meeting Timothée’s green.
The actor smiled at Kolby, their eyes meeting.
“I have more than enough room at my condo, Eli. You can stay with myself and Kolby until you get settled at the school. Austin’s crashing with us as well for the next few days.” he smiled at the young man.
“I…I couldn’t put you out like that, Timothée. School doesn’t start for weeks.” he softly said, Kolby’s arm going around the young man, their eyes meeting.
“We’re your new friends, Eli. And with that friendship comes aid and understanding. We all want to help you in any way we can. Timothée’s home is nice and friendly. His friendship I enjoy deeply. What do you say? We’d all like to be your friends.” Kolby smiled, Timothée smiling at his man’s welcoming friendship, the man showing his pouty face, Austin matching the look.
He looked around at the five, focusing more on Timothée and Austin, Eli smiling at them both pouting.
“Me, friends with movie stars! I think I’d like that. And those looks could make anyone cave in.” he smiled, the others smiling back at him.
“Excellent! More eye-candy!” Cal smiled, the others laughing, Dee kissing his man’s cheek.
“Meet my boyfriend, Mr. Class.” Dee smiled, Cal smiling, kissing his lips.
The waiter walked up again, smiling at the six.
“One bill, please. My treat!” Austin smiled, the others fighting him, Austin waving them off, the man paying for everything.
Kolby smiled, everyone rising from their seats, the two bodyguards going front and back, one following and one leading the other four out of the restaurant.
Dee and Cal said goodbye in the parking lot, Timothée driving his own vehicle home, the other three piling in with him, Kolby in the front passenger seat with Timothée, Austin and Eliot in the backseat, the two chatting, the young man greatly relaxed.
The four arrived at Timothée’s condo, the man smiling and letting the four into it.
Eliot smiled, taking in the beauty of the large condo, Timothée giving him a guided tour, Kolby and Austin relaxing in the living room, while Timothée showed the young man the place.
They returned to the living room shortly, Timothée jumping onto the sofa with Kolby and Austin, Eliot smiling and sitting down in a large chair beside the sofa.
“Timbo showed you your new room?” Kolby smiled, Timothée smiling at his boyfriend, Eliot staring at Kolby.
“Yes, he did, it’s so nice. Timbo?” he smiled, Austin chuckling, Timothée smirking at his friend.
“Something you wanted to say, Pogo?” Timothée smiled, Austin softly blushing, smiling at his friend.
“No, I’m fine, Timbo.” he smiled, Kolby’s and Timothée’s eyes meeting.
Timothée sat up, smiling at the young man seated in the chair.
“Okay, Eli. House rules to start with.” he smiled, the young man nodding.
“First off, you need to know what’s really going on here, my new friend.” Timothée smiled, his arm going around Kolby, their lips meeting, Eliot looking shocked, staring at the two.
The two parted, Kolby smiling at his new friend, lightly laughing.
“As this sexy stud here so quickly pointed out, my Timbo and I are in love. We’re soulmates.” Kolby smiled, Timothée happy with his man’s smiling happiness.
“Oh, wow! For real?!” Eliot softly said, looking between the two men with awe.
“Yes, Eli. For real. I’ve fallen in love with this beautiful young man. We fell in love in England about a month ago.” Timothée smiled, Austin smiling at his friend, looking towards Eliot.
“They’re like two lovebirds around here. Tim may need to be neutered.” he laughed, Timothée giving his friend a finger, Austin laughing more.
“I’m…I’m so surprised. Congratulations to you both.” Eliot softly said, Kolby smiling and rising from his seat, Timothée smiling at him, the young man sitting down on the edge of the large chair Eliot sat in, his arm going around the young man.
“Thank you, Eli. We do both love each other deeply. I hope you understand the necessity for privacy and secrecy in regard to Tim’s career.”
The young man nodded, looking at Timothée.
“Of course, guys. You have my sworn secrecy, Timothée.” Eliot said, Kolby quietly looking at the young man, hugging him gently.
Timothée smiled, looking at the young man.
“The only other house rule is that everyone be themselves. We’re all friends, new and old.” Kolby smiled, Austin smiling at his friend.
“You and I are the old ones, Tim. These young bucks have years on us. Two young twinks.” he smiled, Timothée laughing.
“And with that truth, maybe you could open up more to us about what’s going on in your life, Eli. I feel your need to let go of the emotions. Judging by your mother’s earlier outburst, you have a few secrets yourself.” Kolby said, the young man looking up at his new friend, then around at the other two older men.
Kolby smiled, leaning down and kissing his cheek.
“Let’s start with today’s hidden reality. I’m really touched, Eli. That you would find yourself attracted to me.”
The young man looked shocked, blushing deeply, Timothée quietly staring at his man.
“I…I don’t know what…?” Eli softly said, Kolby’s eyes meeting Eli’s dark brown pools, Austin quietly staring at the young man as well.
“Come on, my friend. I sensed your immediate attraction to myself. Talk to me, my friend. I’m not angry or surprised.”
Eli looked up, seeing no hatred in Kolby’s eyes, only giving friendship.
“You treated me so nicely, right off the bat. You wanted to be friends with me so easily. And you’re so beautiful. I’ve never met anyone like you. Now that I see you’re with Timothée, I would never do anything against your love. I’m so sorry.”
Kolby smiled, letting the young man continue.
“As you guessed by my own outburst at the school, I’m gay. I’ve known since I was twelve. I could never tell her. Her abusive tone today made me stand up against her. I’d had enough.” he softly said, the other three men looking at him with compassion.
Kolby smiled down at him with friendship, the young man focusing on something else.
“You don’t have to hide your pain, Eli. I know that wasn’t the only abuse she’s given you.” Kolby softly said, the young man looking up at him.
Eliot rose from his seat, walking up to the large window beside the terrace, Kolby quietly watching him.
He rose himself, walking up to the young man.
“Let me tell you the story of my own abuse, Eli. Perhaps that can guide you to your own stand against the pain.” Kolby said, the young man looking confused, Kolby quietly beginning to tell his own story about his younger life, Timothée and Austin both quietly watching Kolby talk about his past.
Twenty minutes later, Kolby stood at the window, Eli’s arms around him, the young man hugging him tightly, sobbing against the young man’s chest.
“Oh, Kobe! The life you had! The pain, the anger!” he sobbed, Kolby hugging him close, his green eyes meeting Timothée’s green.
“I lived it, Eli. And I survived. As you yourself did.” Kolby said, parting from the young man, Eli staring at him with tears in his eyes.
Kolby’s hand went to his slim shoulder, the young man staring at him with deep friendship.
“I’d like to hear your story, my friend. I believe we’re brothers in pain.” Kolby said, Eli nodding slowly, the young man guiding him back to his chair, Kolby sitting down on the sofa beside him, seated close to his new friend.
Eli looked at the other two men, Austin smiling at him.
“We’re here as friends, Eli. We’d never judge you on your pain or hurt. Open up, my friend.” Austin smiled, Eli softly smiling at him.
“I was born on a native reservation in lower Wyoming. My mother was unmarried, having been raped when three other natives got her drunk one night. She was only sixteen. The night after I was born, my birth mother’s father carried me away from her, giving me over to a Catholic orphanage a few towns away. My adopted mother told me my mother had killed herself shortly after. I never had a chance to meet her. It was there at that orphanage that Mrs. Tanner found me, adopting me when I was only three months old. A year after I went to live with her, her own husband died. I don’t remember him at all. She raised me alone. Ever since my youth she’s towered over me, disciplining me, hurting me, driving the fear of God into me.” he softly said, Kolby patting his knee, giving the young man some space.
“She never taught me anything about my heritage, or my lost family. She said I was no longer native, only a lost child of God’s neglect. That I was to do God’s work for her. To be righteous, innocent and timid. I lived with that all my life. Up until today.” he said, Timothée and Austin feeling deep compassion for the young man.
Austin stared at the man, taking in his innocence and beautiful self.
Kolby stared at the young man, keeping him talking.
“Her abuse was more than just emotional, wasn’t it?” he said, Eli’s eyes meeting his.
“Yes, Kobe. She…she did this.” he softly said, the young man turning in his chair, pulling his polo shirt up slowly, all three men softly gasping, the young man showing the old scars on his back.
“Oh God! How could she do that to an innocent child?” Austin softly said, Eli’s eyes meeting his.
“I was bad in her eyes. I was a sinner.” Eli softly said, Kolby staring at him.
“You were a young man who only needed love, Eli. That neglect lays at her feet.” Kolby said, Eli lowering his eyes again.
“How can anyone love a disfigured man like me?” the young man said, Timothée’s arm going around his Kolby.
“Look at Kolby, Eli. I love him with all my heart. His injuries don’t make him, it’s his love that binds us together. I love him as himself. Scars and all. And those scars I think are so beautiful. It makes his love very special.” Timothée smiled, Kolby smiling at his man.
Eli softly smiled at the two men together, Austin moving and walking over to the young man, going to one knee beside his chair.
“Tim’s right, Eli. You’re a fascinating young man who’s had a painful life. It’s only going to get better from here on out. You see three friends before you who want to start you on that new life.” Austin smiled, Eli’s eyes meeting his blue.
“You…you still want to be my friends?” he softly said, Austin smiling at Timothée and Kolby, both smiling at him.
“Of course, Eli. Tim’s right. A man is more than his physical self. It’s his character, love and kindness that make him. I sense you’re a remarkable young man. Look where your talent’s brought you today. You have a career in music ahead of you.”
Eli smiled more, Kolby and Timothée seeing Austin giving him hope, the actor returning to his seat beside Timothée, the three smiling at the young man.
“I think my friends would love to hear your music, Eli.” Kolby said, the young man smiling, looking towards Timothée’s black grand piano, Timothée smiling at him.
“It’s yours to play anytime, Eli.” Timothée smiled, the young man rising from his seat, walking over to it, running his hand across its shiny black top, sitting down on the bench, lifting the cover off the keys.
The three men smiled at each other, beautiful music beginning to fill the room, Timothée and Austin surprised at the young man’s talent, Austin rising from his seat, walking over to the piano, Eli smiling at him, softly blushing, Austin sitting down beside him, the young man continuing to play.
Timothée and Kolby snuggled together on the couch, the room filled with classical music.
Eli ended the music, Austin’s and his eyes meeting.
“That was unbelievable! You’re amazing!” the actor smiled, Eli blushing again, smiling more.
“Thanks, Austin.” he said, Austin smiling and returning to the sofa, Eli walking over and sitting down again in the chair.
“Incredible, Eli. You do indeed have a remarkable gift.” Timothée smiled, the young man staring at the handsome young actor.
“Do you drive, Eli?” Kolby asked, Timothée looking at his man.
“Yes, Kobe. I’ve driven since I was ten on the farm.” he smiled, Kolby kissing his man’s cheek.
“Well, we need to get you some clothes and accessories. You need a total fresh start. How about you and I borrow Timbo’s vehicle and hit a mall for some basic stuff? You can drive, I’m English, you guys drive on the wrong side of the road.” the young man smiled, Austin laughing, Timothée’s fingers finding Kolby’s armpits, the young man bursting into laughter.
“We drive the right way! You’re outvoted three to one, Limey!” Timothée smiled, Kolby laughing.
“Okay! I know when I’m outnumbered!” Kolby laughed, Timothée smiling.
Eli smiled at the two, Austin smiling at the young native American.
Timothée stopped his tickling, Kolby sitting up.
“You and Austin can chill here, babe. That way Eli and I won’t draw any attention.” he smiled, Eli agreeing.
“Too much beauty around us would be distracting.” Eli said, Timothée smirking.
“You talking about me or Austin?” he smiled, Eli blushing, Kolby smiling and kissing his man’s cheek.
“Only you, Mr. Ego!” Kolby said, Timothée blushing now, their lips meeting.
“Come on, Eli. Let’s shop till we drop.” Kolby smiled, the two young men rising to their feet, Timothée handing Kolby a debit card out of his wallet, the young man looking down at him.
He pulled his man down, whispering the pin number in his ear, the two kissing again, Kolby smiling as he stood up again.
“It’s all on my Timbo, Eli.” he smiled, Eli blushing.
“I…I can’t thank you enough, Timothée.” Eli said, Timothée rising up, hugging the young man.
“You’re welcome, Eli. And I’m just Tim. Think of this as the christening gift of our new friendship.” he smiled, Eli thanking him again.
Austin rose as well, the two older men saying goodbye to the two younger men, both putting their jackets on at the door, all four hugging each other, Timothée handing Eli his car keys.
“Treat my baby right, Eli.” he smiled, Eli nodding, his eyes meeting Kolby’s.
“I think you man wants me to stop somewhere and make you really happy, Kobe.” Eli grinned, Kolby laughing, slapping the young native’s back.
“I know he was referring to his SUV.” Kolby smiled, Timothée laughing, the two kissing again, Austin rolling his eyes, Eli smiling at him.
“We’ll bring back dinner, babe.” Kolby smiled, Timothée nodding, the two young men walking out of the condo, Austin smiling and closing the door behind them, his blue eyes following Eli’s disappearing form.
For over two hours Kolby and Eli walked around a mall near Timothée’s condo, the two young men hitting all the trendy stores.
Kolby outfitted the young man in new clothes, picking up accessories as well, as well as some beauty aids and shaving items.
Eli was in awe of Timothée’s giving heart, a lot of the clothing expensive.
Kolby had asked the young man if he wore boxers, briefs or boxer briefs, the young man blushing, saying boxer briefs.
He chose three packs of Calvin Klien boxer briefs for him in different colors, the two smiling at each other.
“You’re in charge of doing your own laundry. Don’t leave these laying around, Timothée has a fetish for sniffing briefs.” Kolby smiled, the two men bursting out in laughter, their friendship growing.
“Sounds like he’s a kinky pervert!” Eli smiled, Kolby grinning.
“You don’t know the half of it.” Kolby smiled, Eli chuckling.
The two stopped at a Chinese restaurant to pick up dinner, Kolby placing a large order, knowing his friends would be famished, the two young men sitting down at a table to wait on the food.
“Thanks for everything today, Kobe. I can’t believe I’m here, with you and your friends. Famous friends at that. They’re both so amazing.”
Kolby smiled, seeing the young man’s budding happiness.
“Timothée’s amazing, I love him deeply. I’ve only known Austin for a few days, but our friendship is growing fast. He’s a very nice guy, down to earth and decent.”
Eli nodded, looking out the window, Kolby seeing the young man deep in thought.
Their eyes met again, Eli staring at him.
“Austin’s…he’s so…” Eli softly said, Kolby smiling at him.
“I’m a great believer in love at first sight.” Kolby said, Eli’s brown eyes meeting his green with surprise, the young man lowering his brown eyes.
“What…what do you mean?” Eli softly said, Kolby smiling more.
“I saw the instant connection you had with him, Eli. I think he felt the same. He likes you too. Just as much as you like him.” Kolby said, the young man looked shocked by Kolby’s words, their eyes meeting.
“He’s so beautiful! And so out of my dreams! I’m nothing against him.” Eli softly said, Kolby folding his arms.
“What am I, Eli?” he said, his voice calm and determined, Eli staring at him.
“You’re my new friend. In fact, my best friend.” Eli said, with conviction, Kolby smiling.
“Thanks, Eli. I’m also just an average Englishman, with no stardom, fame or wealth. My Timbo looked past all that and saw the real me. I love him so much for that. He treats me like an equal. Fame, stardom and wealth mean nothing to him or to me. We love each other for our true selves. Fame never entered the equation of our love. I know Austin has the same giving heart.”
The young man nodded, looking out the window again, then turning back to Kolby.
“Do you really think he likes...?” Eli softly said, not able to say more.
“I don’t know his own self, Eli. But I sense there’s something there between you two. Maybe it’s just friendship, maybe it’s more. It’s up to both of you to have the courage to seek out life’s dreams. All we can do is go with our hearts.” the young man said, Eli nodding, a soft smile showing now.
“A dream it would be. He’s so beautiful and kind.” Eli softly said, Kolby smiling.
“Only person getting hurt here is me. You’re ditching fantastic me for an airhead sexy California surfer!” he smiled, Eli now laughing, Kolby joining him, the two hugging tightly, Eli smiling at his friend as they broke the hug.
“We’ll make a stop on the way back home, and I’ll thank you for opening my eyes to more from life. You hot sexy stud.” Eli said, batting his eyelashes, Kolby laughing again, seeing the waitress waving to him.
He smiled, heading to pick up their dinner, Eli smiling widely, his thoughts on the handsome actor who took his breath away.
The two young men walked out of the restaurant, Eli carrying all the bags, Kolby seeing three young teenagers walking down the street, two girls and a long haired young man.
The guy stopped, staring at Kolby, then whispering to his friends.
Kolby opened the SUV’s door for Eli, the young man placing the bags in the backseat, closing the door, the three teenagers walking up to Kolby.
“Hey, man! You’re the dude from YouTube! The karate guy! Props on taking on those three subway goons! You were amazing! Are Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler really your friends? That’s so cool!” the young man said, his friends blushing and looking at Kolby’s handsome looks.
“Karate guy?” Eli said, Kolby softly blushing, looking at the teens.
“Yes, I’m Kolby. My friends were indeed there. I was protecting all three of us. Those guys were dangerous. You always have to protect your friends. I’m sure it would be the same for you and your friends here.” Kolby smiled, the young man nodding, smiling at his friends.
The young man gave Kolby a fist bump, their eyes meeting.
“My name’s Sean. These are my best friends Kali and Lana. Friends stick together, man! You’re amazing!” the young man smiled, his two friends agreeing.
“I’m just someone who doesn’t stand by and let others be hurt.”
“You’re a hero, Kolby.” Lana said, Kolby softly blushing again, shaking all their hands, the three watching the young man walk around the SUV, he and Eli were climbing in, the three youths waving goodbye, Eli pulling the vehicle out into the street, heading back to Timothée’s.
“What was that all about?” Eli said, Kolby looking in the rearview mirror, the three teenagers continuing their trek down the street.
“I’ll let you know later, Eli.” Kolby sighed, Eli sensing his friend was deep in thought.
The ride home was quiet, a calmness settling between the two friends.
Back at the condo, Timothée and Austin were relaxing in the living room, the television on a basketball game, both sipping a mug of Kolby’s special blend, a carafe on the coffee table.
Timothée smiled, his man having shown him how to make the brew, the man proud of his accomplishing that.
He always wanted Kolby to be proud of him.
His eyes glanced at Austin, seeing his friend not staring at the television, but looking towards the front door, seemingly in deep thought.
Timothée smiled, sensing what was going on with his friend.
“My balls are aching, want to suck them?” Timothée smirked, Austin not answering him.
Timothée laughed, shaking his friend’s shoulder, Austin about a foot away from him on the sofa.
“Earth to Pogo!” he said, Austin breaking his thoughts, looking at his friend.
“What? Sorry, Tim. Did you say something?” Austin said, Timothée smiling at him.
“Someone’s lost. I offered you my balls to suck and you didn’t even acknowledge me.” Timothée smiled, Austin looking confused, Timothée laughing.
“You looked like you were in a dream world. Everyone okay, bud?”
Austin blushed, looking towards the door again.
“Yeah, I’m good.” he said, focusing more on his friend, Timothée nodding, sensing his friend was mulling something over.
“Eliot seems like a nice guy. I hate the past he’s endured. No one should endure that kind of abuse. That bitch needs to be taken down a notch.” Austin said, Timothée seeing his friend’s protective self.
“Yeah, it’s terrible. It kind of mirrors my own Kobe’s life. Beaten because of religious righteousness, when all they needed was love. Kobe had it even worse. I hate what his father did to him. I think Kobe zoned in on him because he sensed the young man’s similar pain.” Timothée said, Austin seeing soft tears in his friend’s green pools.
He moved, his arm going around his friend.
“Kobe survived, Tim. And look at the wonderful, giving, beautiful man he’s become. I think his happiness increased greatly when he met you. I see how happy he and you now are. You two have true love.” Austin smiled, Timothée smiling at his friend.
“We do, Pogo. I love him so much.”
Austin smiled, hugging his friend gently.
“I really envy what you have, Tim. Everyone deserves true love.” he smiled, his eyes glancing to the door again.
Timothée softly smiled, watching his friend.
“I guess your infatuation with myself is now over, stud.” Timothée smiled, Austin’s blue pools meeting his green.
“I’ll always love you as a dear friend, Tim. I now see that’s all we ever had. Kolby has your heart and soul. I’ll always have your friendship.”
Timothée smiled, the two hugging again, parting and smiling at each other.
“As touching as those words were, and yes, you’ll always have my friendship, I was talking about my sensing your eyes are drawing somewhere else. If the way you’ve been looking at that door means anything.” Timothée smiled, Austin blushing, lowering his eyes, Timothée’s arm going around him.
“Talk to me, Pogo. Friends share all their hopes and dreams.” he said, Austin’s blue eyes meeting his green again.
“You’re attracted to Eli, aren’t you?” Timothée smiled, clueing into what Austin was thinking about.
The man blushed, Timothée letting him gather his words.
“He’s so amazing! That music he played, the depth of his talent! His tragic life! I just want to wrap my arms around him and protect him. And man, those looks! I just wanted to run my fingers through that long black hair.” Austin blushed, looking towards the door again.
“I’ve always had a thing for younger men, especially young native or Latino guys. Their coppery skin, their smooth beauty. God I’m feeling like a giddy teenager.”
Timothée chuckled to himself, kissing his friend’s cheek, their eyes meeting again.
“Looks like little Pogo’s in love!” he smiled, Austin blushing more.
“He’s…he’s so perfect. His scars mean nothing against his own self. I see how you realized the same thing with Kolby. I just want to protect him and keep him safe. I want to help him to achieve the dreams he wants. And I’ll just be his friend, if that’s all he wants.” Austin softly said, Timothée smiling, hugging his friend again.
“I think you need to talk to him, Austin. I’m not psychic or anything like Kobe, but I saw Eli’s eyes going to you quite often. I think’s he’s looking at you the same. Just give him time to talk to you. Happiness starts with opening truths.” Timothée said, Austin smiling at his friend.
“I think you’re learning from Kolby.” he said, Timothée beaming.
“The boy’s grown on me in several ways.” Timothée smiled, Austin nodding, looking towards the door again.
“Kolby’s a beautiful, handsome young man, Tim. It must be so beautiful to have all his desires and love.” Austin said, Timothée smiling more.
“It’s heaven, Austin. He makes me feel things I’ve never felt before. He’s what’s been missing in my life. True love, as you said.”
Austin smiled, the two friends sipping their coffee, ignoring the television, deepening their friendship.
End of Chapter 31
Two new souls of opening love may be joining.
Austin needed a special person in his life.
And Eli needs so much more.
For those thinking I may join these four even more together sexually, I’m sorry to say, that won’t happen.
I want the two couples to be separated.
Kolby and Timothée’s love needs to be singular in its beauty and intensity.
Up next, managerial tension and some surprises.
At this time of year, I want to extend warm wishes to everyone for the upcoming holidays.
This will be my last installment for this year, returning in the new year.
May your season be merry and bright.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hugs, Angel.
