Chapter 27
Timothée smiled, opening the condo's door, two arms going around him, the man enveloped in a manly hug.
"Good evening, Dad. Glad you could come." he smiled, seeing his mother standing beside them, her hands full of containers.
"Mom, you didn't have to bring food! Kolby's got dinner well in hand." Timothée smiled, kissing her cheek, taking the three containers from her.
"Never go anywhere without something." Nicole smiled, Marc laughing, guiding his wife into the condo, the two taking off their jackets, Marc smiling at the young man seated in the living room, Kolby getting to his feet, smiling and walking up to them.
"Good evening, Mr. Chalamet." Kolby said, Marc shaking his hand, then gently hugging the young man, Kolby surprised, Timothée beaming.
"Good evening, Kolby. Glad to see you're calm and relaxed. I'm sorry you had such a hurtful time lately." the older man smiled, Kolby blushing.
"I'm surviving, sir. Thank you for your concern." he smiled, the older man smiling at him.
"It's just Marc, Kolby. You're part of the family now. Kudos for dealing with my son's wild antics." he smiled, Kolby laughing, Timothée's arm going around him.
"I'm practically an angel, Dad, and you know it." Timothée smiled, Marc laughing, Nicole joining him, she hugged Kolby now.
"Kobe, my love, could you make my parents a drink, please? Mom loves white wine and Dad's a whiskey man." he smiled, kissing Kolby's cheek, the young man nodding, asking Marc how he liked his whiskey.
"Just on the rocks, thank you."
"Mom, Dad, you have to see Kolby's new painting he gave me at Christmas." Timothée smiled widely, guiding his parents towards his bedroom, dropping off the containers in the kitchen on the way, Kolby smiling, heading for the bar area.
A few minutes later the three returned, Nicole staring at the young man with awed wonder.
"My God, Kolby! That painting was so symbolic, so rich in color and love!" she said, Kolby smiling at his man's smiling face.
"Your boy inspires me. His love I had to put to canvas." he smiled, the young man handing the older couple their drinks, both thanking him with quiet awe.
Timothée beamed, Kolby smiling and handing him a glass of white wine, one in his hand has well, the man's arm going around his waist.
"Here's a toast to Kolby's beauty. In art and in life. To his love!" Timothée smiled, the four smiling, toasting each other.
The four went to the sofas, sitting down, Nicole smiling at Kolby.
"It's so wonderful to spend some time with you finally, Kolby. Our son has told us all about your life, your troubles lately and your hidden talents. I talked to Diane this week; she's practically drooling over your talent. She'll be calling you shortly to organize an appraiser to go over your artwork." she smiled, Kolby nodding.
"She has more faith in me than I have myself." he said, Nicole patting his knee, she seated beside him.
"We all see your talent, Kolby. My son saw it first." Marc smiled, Kolby smiling at his man snuggled beside him.
"He sees through his eyes of love. What can I say, the boy's smitten." Kolby smiling, Timothée's parents laughing.
Timothée lightly slapped his ass, Kolby smiling at him.
Nicole's hand went to Kolby's shoulder, their eyes meeting.
"We'd both like to hear about your past, Kolby. We'll understand if it's too emotional for you." she smiled, Kolby seeing the caring in her eyes.
"Your son's driven those truths from my soul, his love the anchor for the boat of my loss. I want you to know all about me." the young man smiled, Timothée staring at him with love.
For the next half hour Kolby told them all about his life, the two staring at him with compassion and warming friendship and love.
It ended with Kolby being hugged by Timothée's father, the man smiling at his son.
"You've weathered life with courage, strength and hope, Kolby. I see so easily why my son fell in love with you. Your heart's your most endearing quality." he said, Timothée smiling at his parents, seeing both now on board with his happiness.
"I love your son, Marc. And please, it's just Kobe. I hope to earn both your friendship and love." the young man smiled, Nicole in tears, she now hugging him.
"I'll go check on dinner. I hope you've both brought your appetites?" he smiled, Nicole releasing him, Kolby smiling and rising from his seat, walking into the kitchen.
"He's so strong, Tim. You feel the calmness radiating off him." she said, Timothée's arm around his mother.
"He's my life, Mom." he smiled, his father smiling at him.
"A remarkable young man. He's so in tune with life. I don't think anything will stop him on his path." he smiled, the three relaxing, chatting about the young man who had just left the room.
Kolby returned shortly, smiling and asking Timothée to help him bring the food into the dining room, asking his parents to head there.
Nicole oohed and awed over the table's elegant settings, she and her husband sitting down.
"I hope you'll make your coffee for after dinner, Kobe?" Nicole smiled, Kolby walking in with a platter of roast chicken and beef.
"Already brewing, Nicole." he smiled, Timothée carrying in bowls of salads and other treasures.
Kolby returned with a platter of baked potatoes loaded with cheese and fixings, Nicole's eyes widening with desire.
"Thank you for bringing the taco salad and homemade rolls, Nicole. Timbo says you're an awesome cook." Kolby smiled.
"No problem, Kobe. My son's too skinny. I think you're well capable of fattening him up." she smiled, Kolby laughing, Timothée blushing, kissing his man's cheek.
"I'll make sure he gets lots of protein." Kolby smiled, winking at his man, Timothée blushing, returning to the kitchen for wine and a cheese platter.
The four sat down to a delicious meal, Kolby saying a short grace, the four smiling, diving into the delicious food.
"This is all so delicious, Kobe." Marc smiled, adding more to his plate.
"Looks like Nicole's got you under control also, Marc." Kolby smiled, Nicole laughing, Timothée smiling at his man's warm humor.
"That she does, Kobe. I'm well rounded." he smiled, Kolby laughing.
The four made conversation over the meal, Timothée and Kolby trading looks of love throughout the meal.
For dessert Timothée brought out a large raspberry cheesecake, his parents awed at the delicious dessert.
Kolby brought a carafe of his coffee, filling all their cups.
Marc tasted the coffee, his eyes widening in surprise.
"My God, that's so delicious! You were right, Tim. It's heaven in a cup." he smiled, Kolby smiling widely.
"I'll make sure Nicole gets the recipe." he smiled, Nicole smiling at him.
"If it's okay with you, Kobe, I wouldn't mind you calling me Mom. As long as you're comfortable with that. I think I've just gained another son." she smiled, Kolby tearing up, Timothée's arm going around him.
"I'd...I'd like that. Thanks, Nicole...I mean Mom. I guess I now have two surrogate mothers." Kolby softly said, Nicole smiling at him.
"I'd love to meet your Nancy soon. She sounds like a mothering angel." Nicole smiled, Kolby nodding.
"That she is." Timothée smiled, Kolby smiling at him.
"Your voice is so soft, Kobe. But Tim tells us you're a singing dynamo." Marc smiled, Kolby nodding.
"Complications from the bleach burning have somehow, in some way, changed my vocal cords, Marc. James Hartwick thinks that's enhancing my higher ranges." Kolby said, Nicole patting his arm, smiling at him.
"I'd love to hear you some time, Kobe. I'm sure you're amazing." she smiled, Kolby smiling at her.
"I'm just me, Mom. Shy, lonely, infamous me." he said, Timothée kissing his cheek.
"Those days are gone, my love. Our love has opened you to a new world." he smiled, Kolby smiling at him, smiling at Timothée's parents.
"The boy thinks he's a miracle worker. But I will admit his love has challenged me often." Kolby smiled, Timothée beaming.
"Got to keep you on your toes, Kobe."
Timothée's parents smiled, watching the two together.
The four walked back into the living room after dessert, relaxing and chatting, Kolby smiling at the family before him, seeing Timothée's deep love for his parents.
He glanced towards the grand piano in the corner of the room, the young man rising to his feet, Timothée wondering where he was going, the three watching him walk up to the piano.
"I didn't know you played, Kobe." Timothée smiled, Kolby smiling at him, sitting down on the bench.
"Do you, Timbo?" he said, Timothée smiling back at him.
"A little. Mom had me enrolled in music classes for years, I've picked up some. I use the guitar more than the piano. Mom and Dad both play, that's why I have it." he smiled, Nicole and Marc smiling at the young man.
Kolby's fingers went along the keys, the young man smiling, music beginning to fill the quiet living room.
Nicole sat up, the next moments flooding her soul with surprise.
When I look into your eyes
It's like watching the night sky.
Or a beautiful sunrise
Well, there's so much they hold,
And just like them old stars,
I see that you've come so far.
To be right where you are
How old is your soul?
Well, I won't give up on us.
Even if the skies get rough.
I'm giving you all my love.
I'm still looking up.
Timothée teared up, the words echoing in his soul.
His man was voicing his love for him in every word.
And when you need your space
To do some navigating
I'll be here patiently waiting.
To see what you can find.
Because even the stars, they burn.
Some even fall to earth.
We've got a lot to learn.
God knows we're worth it.
No, I won't give up.
Marc and Nicole sat in silence, his rich voice awing them to their souls.
Timothée rose to his feet, walking up to the piano, Kolby moving over on the bench, Timothée sitting down beside him, his eyes glistening with tears, hearing his man's love echoing in every note.
I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily.
I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make.
Our differences, they do a lot to teach us how to use the tools and gifts we got,
Yeah, we got a lot at stake.
And in the end, you're still my friend, at least we did intend for us to work,
We didn't break, we didn't burn.
We had to learn how to bend without the world caving in.
I had to learn what I got, and what I'm not.
And who I am.
I won't give up on us.
Even if the skies get rough,
I'm giving you all my love.
I'm still looking up.
I'm still looking up.
No, I'm not giving up.
God knows I'm tough enough.
We got a lot to learn.
God knows we're worth it.
I won't give up,
Even if the skies get rough.
I'm giving you all my love, Timbo.
I'm never giving up, on us.
Kolby ended the music, his soulmate wrapping his arms around the young man, Timothée going against his chest, Kolby holding him close, the young man smiling at Timothée's parents, both rising to their feet, walking over to the piano.
"I'm never giving up either, my love." Timothée said, raising his head, Kolby smiling and wiping his tearing face.
"I know that, Timbo. I just thought I'd sing my love for you. That's an old Jason Mraz song." he smiled, the young man seeing tears in Timothée's parents' eyes as well.
"Your voice is amazing, Kobe. That song was etched in your love. I see why Tim is emotional. You're so unbelievable." Nicole said, Kolby softly smiling.
"As I've said, this is me. Unbelievable at times, crazy at times, and just all around amazing." Kolby smiled, everyone laughing, Timothée smiling at his man.
"That was so beautiful, my Kobe. Your heart's symbolism astounds me at times." he said, the two kissing tenderly, breaking the kiss.
"Got to keep you on your toes as well, sweetie."
Timothée laughed, the four returning to the sofas, Timothée snuggling against his man, Kolby smiling at his parents.
"Well, you've seen my paintings, heard my voice, you'll soon get tired of me." he smiled, Nicole laughing.
"Never, Kobe. I think you're going to amaze us for years." Marc smiled, Kolby smiling more.
"I know your son amazes me every day." he smiled, Timothée smiling at him with love.
"Didn't I tell you he was amazing." Timothée smiled, his parents nodding.
"Indeed, son." Nicole smiled, Kolby's eyes meeting hers.
"So, you now have the school interview Sunday. I'm certain you'll get in with that voice." she said, Kolby softly smiling.
"Here's hoping. I really love music, and painting. Both relax my soul, in different ways. I'm sure Tim told you about my symbolic paintings, laced with a touch of déjà vu." he said, the older couple nodding.
"That's just part of your amazing self, Kobe. We won't fault you for having a mysteriousness around you." Nicole smiled, Kolby smiling.
"Thanks, Nicole...I mean Mom. I have no idea why it happens; it just comes from within me. I paint what I see in my mind. As I sing what I hear there." he said, Timothée kissing his cheek again.
"It just makes up the specialness that is you, Kolby. I love your surprising self." he smiled, Kolby blushing a bit.
"Meet my number one fan. He's over the top at times, but man, what a sexy beast!" he smiled, Nicole and Marc laughing, Timothée lightly slapping his ass.
The four relaxed, their happiness flowing together.
At eleven Timothée's parents bid their farewell, Kolby hugged tightly by both, Timothée smiling at his happiness.
Kolby sent food home with them, the two smiling and hugging their son and him goodnight.
They left, Kolby locking the front door, Timothée's arms going around him, kissing his neck.
"You had them eating out of your hands, babe. They're both totally smitten with you." Timothée smiled, Kolby turning in his arms, smiling at his man's happiness.
"Must be a family trait. I wowed you weeks ago." he smiled, their lips meeting, Kolby sensing the love flowing from his man.
"Calmness, my sexy boy. You've got the dishes to wash." he smiled, Timothée smirking.
"Do I get a bonus if I do them fast?" Timothée smiled, Kolby lightly slapping his ass, his hand remaining on one cheek, rubbing it.
"One hour in heaven, babe. I'll do anything you want." he smiled seductively, Timothée grinning.
"Awesome. I may break some dishes with my speed." he grinned, the two smiling at each other, walking into the kitchen hand in hand.
"You start, babe. I'm going to call Nancy and Steph, see what's happening back home."
Timothée nodded, heading to the sink, beginning to fill it with dishes and soap.
Kolby smiled, picking up his phone, called Nancy first, the young man sitting down at the kitchen table.
He chatted with his adoptive mother slash friend, everything good back home, he telling her about his last two days.
After a few minutes of chatting, he hung up, Timothée smiling at him, Kolby calling Stephan.
They chatted for a few minutes, Kolby hearing all the restaurant news, the two chatting happily.
Kolby ended the call, walking up to his man, picking up a dish towel, Timothée smiling at him as he started drying dishes.
"So, how's everyone back home?" Timothée smiled, Kolby smiling at him.
"Momma Bear's fine. She sends her love. She's been seeing Henry all week, the two are getting more serious I believe." he smiled, Timothée leaning over and kissing his man's lips.
"That's awesome, babe. They're really perfect for each other." he said, Kolby smiling and nodding.
"Henry's flying into New York on Sunday. We should meet up with him maybe Monday for dinner. Here or out somewhere nice." Kolby smiled, Timothée agreeing.
"He has our info, I'm sure he'll give us a call." Timothée said.
"Stephan told me that Evan's been arraigned, a sentencing hearing set for next month. Looks like they've got more than enough to charge him with assault and possession of illegal narcotics. He's going to do some serious time." Kolby said, Timothée quietly looking at him.
"Well deserved, Kobe. Do you have to testify?" he said, Kolby shaking his head no.
"No, the police have my statements, as well as Stephan's. That, with the large amount of drugs confiscated, will be enough to convict him." he softly said, Timothée's arm going around his man.
"That's over, babe. On to better things." he said, Kolby smiling.
"You're slowing down, sexy. I may have to please myself." Kolby smiled, Timothée laughing, tackling the last of the dishes, Kolby smiling, helping dry the lot.
Within a few minutes they were done, Timothée helping him return everything to its place.
The two walked out of the kitchen, Timothée dousing the lights, Kolby about to head to the bedroom, Timothée stopping him, his arms going around him.
"Not there, my love. You said whatever I wanted." Timothée smiled, Kolby nodding with a smile, the man pulling him towards the door to the terrace.
Kolby smiled, the two walking out into the night's darkness, the cool air hitting them immediately.
"It's freaking cool out here, babe!" Kolby said, Timothée wrapping his arms around him again, their lips meeting.
"I'll warm you up, sexy." he said, the young man feeling Timothée fingers on his belt, the man smiling.
"Kinky, babe. Outdoor sex! You could have waited until it was above zero you know. We're going to freeze our dicks off!" he grinned, feeling Timothée's hands on his bare ass.
"My dick's going someplace warm. I need you now, Kobe." Timothée said, pushing Kolby up against the stone railing, turning him around.
Kolby gasped, feeling Timothée's tongue on his ass, his hand stroking his rising shaft.
"Oh fuck, babe! You know what that does to me!" he moaned, Timothée diving into the sweetness before him.
Kolby felt the lips leave him, his man's hands moving, his cock lost without his man's touch, then he felt a hardness on his backside, a large hard shaft sinking slowly into him.
"Oh fuck! That's the spot, my tiger! Own me, you fucking stud!" he gasped, Timothée starting a steady rhythm, his hands returning to Kolby's front, one going under his shirt attaching to his right nipple, the other attaching to his shaft again.
For a few minutes the two were lost in the openness of their showing love, Timothée staring out at the starlight night and the lit city below them.
"I'm free, in the open, and within you, Kobe! I'm totally in love! Oh God!" Timothée gasped, exploding within his man.
Kolby's own orgasm exploded all over the railing, the two coming slowly down from their passion, Timothée slowly slipping out.
He turned his man in his arms, the two kissing tenderly, lost in their afterglow.
"You're the best, babe. And we're indeed going to freeze our asses off if we stay out much longer." Timothée smiled, Kolby laughing, the two pulling up their pants, walking back into the living room, Kolby shutting the terrace door, locking it.
"You can go out there in the morning, and chip my frozen seed off the railing. An erotic popsicle." Kolby said, Timothée laughing, the two kissing again.
They smiled when they broke the kiss, walking down the hall, heading for their bedroom.
The next day was a day of happiness, the two relaxing and enjoying themselves.
Kolby created a warm breakfast, the day looking chilly outside.
The two ate together, then had a long warm shower of happiness.
They went out again mid morning, Cal and Dee in tow, the four deepening their friendships, Timothée happy to now call them friends.
They were both two years older than him, that providing a closeness with them, Kolby smiling at his man's happiness.
They visited the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Kolby learning the city's history.
The four dined at an upscale pizza place in lower Manhattan, Kolby footing the bill.
Around one o'clock Timothée answered a phone call, Kolby smiling at him, the two about to climb into their vehicle, Dee driving.
"Ok, bud. That would be swell. How about seven? Yes, I know the place. Ciao for now." Timothée smiled, ending the call as he climbed into the back seat of his vehicle.
He smiled at Kolby, gently kissing his lips as he did up his seatbelt, Dee pulling out into traffic.
Cal smiled back at the two, Kolby snuggling up against Timothée.
"Where to next, chief?" the man smiled, Timothée smiling at his Kolby, waiting for his suggestion.
"I'd love to go back to the art museum again, babe. There was so much we didn't see yesterday." Kolby said, Timothée nodding, snuggling more into him.
"Sounds fine with me, Kobe. You heard him, Dee. My man's happiest when surrounded by art." Timothée smiled, Kolby kissing his lips.
"Well, I'm in the arms of a sculpted beauty. A bronzed God. I'm indeed happy." Kolby smiled, Cal and Dee both chuckling.
"He looks too lily white to be called bronzed, Kobe." Cal smirked, Dee smiling at his man.
Kolby laughed, Timothée slapping Cal's shoulder.
The two younger men smiled at each other, settling back into each other's arms again.
"That was a good friend of mine on the phone, Kobe. He wants to go out for dinner tonight. He's in town for a few days." he smiled, Kolby nodding, smiling at his man.
"Sound like fun, Timbo. You should always try to make time for friends. I'll make myself dinner at home." Kolby smiled, Timothée smiling at him, loving the fact Kolby considered his condo now home.
"You're coming with me of course. He's a nice guy, babe. Don't be shocked, but he's a movie star also. We did a movie together." Timothée smiled, Kolby nodding.
"It's not that dreamy Jason Mamoa, is it? I'll just faint, if it is!" Kolby smiled, batting his eyelashes, Cal and Dee laughing.
Timothée slapped his ass, Kolby smiling at him, snuggling more into him.
"Relax, babe. I only have eyes for you. And fame doesn't shock me. I'm sure he's a nice guy underneath the magic." he said, Timothée smiling at his man's honesty.
"Austin's a great guy, Kobe." Timothée said, Kolby's eyes widening with shock.
"Austin Butler?! Who was in Dune 2 with you?! Elvis himself!" he said, Timothée laughing, seeing Kolby's surprise.
"Yep, one and the same. Smitten with him in that movie also, were you?" Timothée smirked, Kolby softly blushing.
"He's very handsome, Timbo. But I've already told you that you're the one who sparks my fire." Kolby said, Timothée smiling.
"He's a stud, Kolby. Reminds me of Cal." Dee smiled, Cal smiling at his man.
"Calmness, tiger. I'm the only blond you need." Cal smiled, Dee winking at him.
Timothée and Kolby both chuckled, Kolby kissing his man's cheek.
"I'd love for you to come also, Kobe. I want you to meet my real friends. Austin and I just clicked on the set. He's so nice, so honest and genuine. He's a nice guy. We've only known each other for about a year, but we just like being together."
"I'm sure if he's a good friend with you, then he's obviously nice. I'd love to meet him, for his friendship. Although eye candy's always nice."
"Want me to take my shirt off, Kobe?" Cal smiled back, Timothée grinning, Kolby smirking.
"Sure, stud. And I want to see some smooth hot chocolate too."
All four laughed, Dee pulling into the museum's parking lot.
The four spent the afternoon again at the art museum, Timothée seeing Kolby's happiness as he walked from painting to painting, explaining each one to him, Timothée just happy to see his man happy.
They left the museum at four thirty, saying goodbye to Dee and Cal with hugs, the two men climbing into their own vehicle in the underground garage, Timothée and Kolby waving goodbye, heading for the elevator.
Once inside the condo the two were in each other's arms, their lips attached.
Kollby felt Timothée's hands on his ass, their lips parting, the man's lips going to his neck.
"God, been needing that all day! I'm so horny, babe!" Timothée said, his fingers working on Kolby's button shirt.
"My baby's on fire." he said, Timothée opening his shirt, his hands moving across Kolby's warm smooth chest.
"Let's take a shower, babe. I want you wet against me." Timothée said, his hands pulling off his polo shirt, Kolby gazing across his smooth sleek chest.
"I want to taste your sweaty chest and pits first, babe." Kolby said, pulling the man against him, his tongue bathing Timothée's smooth chest, then licking his hairy sweaty armpits, tasting his man's scent, the man moaning.
Kolby raised his head, smiling at his man.
"Let's hit the water, babe." he smiled, taking Timothée's hand in his, the two walking down to their bedroom, their clothes leaving the bodies as they entered the bathroom.
Both smiled, joining immediately once Kolby had the water flowing, both lost in the passion flooding them.
For half an hour they took in each other's needs, pleasing each other in familiar ways.
They dried each other, walking into their bedroom naked, Kolby smiling as they walked into the walk-in closet, each selecting the other's outfit for the evening.
They helped each other dress, their hands touching with love.
For the next half hour they relaxed in the living room, snuggled together on the sofa.
At six thirty they left Timothée's condo, Timothée driving his own vehicle, the two heading towards midtown Manhattan, a short distance from Timothée's condo.
Timothée parked his SUV in a parking garage close to the restaurant, Kolby smiling as his man put on dark sunglasses to try and blend in.
The two exited the vehicle, walking along the sidewalk, Timothée smiling at Keens Steakhouse coming into view.
"Austin loves steaks. I'm sure he picked it just for the name." the actor smiled, Kolby smiling back.
"You know I love steaks as well. I think he and I are going to get along great." he smiled, Timothée smiling.
The two walked into the restaurant, Timothée removing his sunglasses, the maître d smiling at both.
"Mr. Chalamet! And your guest! Mr. Butler's table is ready for you, please follow me. Mr. Butler hasn't arrived yet." the older man smiled, the two young men following him.
The sat down at a table, four chairs surrounding it, the maître d handing them each a menu, setting another at the place beside Timothée.
"Your waiter will be here momentarily for drinks. Please enjoy your evening with us." the man smiled, both thanking him, the man walking away.
Kolby's eyes took in the place's charm, it styled like a last century English inn, bringing back memories from places he'd been in himself back home.
"I feel like I'm home." he smiled, Timothée smiling and looking around as well.
He spotted someone heading towards them, the man smiling and rising to his feet.
Kolby looked up, seeing a handsome blond-headed man envelope Timothée, the two hugging tightly.
Austin Butler broke his embrace with Timothée, the man staring at him with soft emotion.
"God, it's good to see you again, Tim!" he grinned, Timothée smiling widely.
"Missed you so much, Austin!" Timothée grinned, Austin's eyes meeting Kolby's green pools.
"Oh, you brought someone else. I thought we'd be alone." Austin softly said, staring at the young man seated, Timothée's arm going around his friend, smiling down at Kolby.
"Austin, this is my dear friend, Kolby Wentworth. Kolby, this is my good friend, Austin Butler." he said, Kolby rising to his feet, the two staring at each other.
"Good evening, Mr. Butler. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm a big fan of your movies." Kolby said, extending his hand, Austin quietly taking it in his, the two shaking hands slowly.
"Hello, Kolby. It's just Austin. If Tim has your friendship, then you have mine as well." Austin said, a soft smile showing on his face now.
"Let's sit down, guys. I'm more than ready for a drink." he said, the man sitting down beside Timothée.
Kolby sat down, sitting opposite Austin, the man quietly taking in his youthful looks.
"It's been too long, Tim. I've missed you as well." Austin said, his wider smile now directed at Timothée, Kolby quietly watching the two.
"Yes, it's been over three months. Why are you in New York this week, Austin?" Timothée smiled, a waiter walking up to them, introducing himself as Gregory, the three men taking in his youthful looks.
"What would you like to start off with, Mr. Butler?" he smiled, Austin smiling at him.
"I'd love a whiskey on the rocks, your finest, please." Austin said, the waiter nodding, looking at Timothée.
"And yourself, Mr. Chalamet?" he smiled, Timothée selecting a light beer.
"And for yourself, sir?" Gregory smiled, Kolby smiling at him.
"I'll just have a glass of white wine. Maybe a Sauvignon Blanc." he said, the man nodding, walking away with a smile.
Austin smiled at Timothée, then at Kolby.
"I'm in town doing some PR spots for my latest movie, Tim." he smiled, Timothée nodding.
"You should have told me you were coming; you could have stayed at my place." he smiled, Austin smiling back at him.
"My management team handled the reservations."
Austin's blue eyes looked into Kolby's green, taking in the young man's striking looks, then looking at Timothée.
"So, what's happening in your life, Tim? I ran into Kylie in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago. I was surprised you weren't with her." he smiled, Timothée glancing at Kolby.
"Kylie and I have ended our relationship, Austin. We both decided we were seeking something else. We parted as friends." Timothée said.
Austin's hand went on top of Timothée's, the man nodding at him with compassion.
Kolby thought he saw something else in those blue eyes.
"I'm sorry, Tim. If that's true, then you should know I saw her at a party with another man. They looked pretty well wrapped around each other." he said, Timothée nodding, smiling at him.
"Life gives us changes, Austin. And she told me she was seeing someone else. I'm sure it will only get better from here on for myself as well." he said, glancing at Kolby, the young man smiling at him.
"I'm sure it will, Tim. So, who exactly are you, Kolby?" Austin said, smiling softly at the young man, Timothée smiling at him as well.
"Kolby and I met in London a few weeks ago. It's an interesting story. I'd love you to hear it." Timothée said, Austin smiling warmly as his friend.
"I'm all ears, Tim." he said, looking at Kolby quietly, the waiter returning with their drinks, smiling at Austin.
"I'll give you some time to peruse the menu, gentlemen." he smiled, Austin smiling back at him.
"Thanks, Gregory." Austin said, the waiter smiling widely, walking away.
For the next half hour Timothée told his friend about his and Kolby's meeting, leaving out the more revealing parts.
"Wow, that Harry Styles is something else. I've had a run in with him as well, Kolby." Austin said, their eyes meeting.
"You did, Austin?" Timothée said, the man softly blushing, looking at his friend.
"Harry put the moves on me in Los Angeles." he said, Kolby quietly looking at him.
"I...I turned him down, as you did, Tim. I think he's gone after half of Tinseltown. He's a total asshole." Austin said, sipping his drink, Timothée patting his friend's hand on the table, Kolby quietly looking at the man, his thoughts his own.
"I made that assumption quickly. Especially since he hurt my friend Kolby." Timothée said, Kolby smiling at him.
Austin's blue pools stared at the young man, Kolby's eyes meeting his, seeing a soft look of compassion on his handsome face.
"I'm sorry he did that to you, Kolby. I'm glad you overcame that hurt. And I easily see why Timothée's now your friend." he smiled, Kolby smiling at him.
"Thanks, Austin. I consider Timothée's friendship one of the greatest joys that has happened in my life." Kolby said, Timothée smiling at his man.
"I feel the same, Kobe." Timothée said, Austin smiling at both, taking in their quiet staring at each other.
The waiter returned, the three smiling at him.
"Ready to order, sirs?" Gregory smiled, the three having been perusing the menus while they'd talked.
"I'll have the porterhouse steak, medium rare, with mashed, carrots and a side salad. I'd like a bowl of garlic mushrooms as well." Austin said, the waiter smiling at him as he handed him his menu.
Timothée and Kolby both ordered the prime rib, Caesar salads as their sides, Timothée ordering mushrooms as well.
Austin smiled again at Kolby, the young man blushing softly.
"You're quite handsome, Kolby. You and Timothée are almost twins." he smiled, scanning the young man's chiselled physique, the young man wearing a black silk shirt and black khakis.
"That's a recurring joke with everyone. Believe me, we both see the similarities." Timothée smiled, Austin laughing, Kolby smiling, feeling relaxed around the man, seeing why Timothée considered him a good friend.
He was sincere, honest and genuine in himself.
"So where are you from, Austin? I really don't know your background." Kolby smiled, Timothée seeing his man was trying to be genuinely friendly with his friend.
"California born and raised, Kolby." Austin smiled, Kolby nodding.
"Ah, a surfer dude. Blond, shaggy hair tanned and handsome." he smiled, Austin laughing, smiling at him.
The three quietly chatted, Kolby learning more about Austin's life, a comradery building between them.
Their meals came, all dining on rich steaks, the three happily chatting throughout.
They passed on desserts, all three content and happy, sipping on coffee after their meal.
Timothée's eyes met Kolby's, the young man sensing what Timothée wanted to reveal.
"You're only in town for a few days, Austin?" Kolby said, the man nodding, smiling at him.
"Yes, supposed to fly back out west on Monday." he said, Timothée nodding.
"Why don't we all head back to my place after dinner, Austin? We can chill and relax. We haven't been together in a while." Timothée smiled, beating Kolby to the offer.
He sensed Timothée wanted to open up more with his friend, and for that they needed privacy.
"Well, that sounds great. I walked over here from the hotel. Can I hitch a ride?" Austin smiled, Timothée waving at the waiter, the young man smiling and coming over to their table.
Timothée paid the bill, Austin admonishing him, as it was his suggestion they meet up, Timothée brushing him off.
"How often do I get to spoil a good friend. It's on me." Timothée smiled, Austin smiling at him.
"Thanks, bud. I'm getting the next time." he smiled, Kolby seeing his gaze focused on Timothée.
The waiter smiled, the three men rising from their seats, the young man thanking them and inviting them to visit again.
The three walked out of the restaurant, Austin at Timothée's side, Kolby walking behind them, the three walking towards the parking garage.
Kolby walked quietly, his thoughts his own.
