Chapter 21
The party had ended after midnight, all the staff thanking Henry for their bonuses, and gifts.
The man had given most of them expensive gift cards for several London stores, as well as bottles of wine and other items.
He'd shaken their hands with humility, everyone smiling at his joyful, festive smile.
The four were the last to leave with Stephan and Olivia, Henry hugging all of them goodbye, the last he hugged was Nancy.
"We'll see you tomorrow at church, Henry." she smiled; his smile focused only on her.
"I will fly there with angels, knowing your smile awaits." Henry said, Nancy blushing, he kissing her cheek.
"Until tomorrow, dear Nancy." he smiled, Nancy giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.
The other five younger people smiled, Nancy glaring at them.
"It's time I got the kids home to bed. They may need spanking. Goodnight, Henry." she smiled, Henry laughing, he, Stephan and Olivia saying good night to everyone.
They'd returned home, sitting in the living room for a few minutes, chatting about the night, the gifts and the surprises.
"Henry's such a generous man." Nancy said, Dina smiling at her mother.
"And I think he's taken a liking to you, Mom." she said, Nancy blushing.
"That's not true, Dina. He's just a good friend. He's also a multimillionaire, philanthropist and businessman. We walk in different circles." she said, Kolby smiling, kissing her cheek, Nancy sitting with him and Timothée on the sofa.
"Just look at Timbo's and my path. Love knows no path of reality. What is in people's hearts unites them, not their backgrounds. I think you and he would be so great together." he smiled, Nancy blushing again.
"We're just going to be friends, my young meddlers. Don't put more into it than that." she said, the woman looking towards the Christmas tree, a soft smile showing on her face.
Timothée smiled, leaning over his Kolby, kissing her cheek now.
"So, when do we start calling him Papa Bear?" he smiled, batting his eyelashes.
Everyone laughed, Nancy slapping his chest.
"Don't be ridiculous, Tim! We're just friends!" she lightly laughed, smiling at her two boys.
Kolby smiled, seeing something more in that smile.
"Well, it's getting late. We should all head to bed." Nancy smiled, Kolby kissing her cheek again.
"You and Dina sleep in tomorrow. I'm making my special Christmas Eve breakfast as usual, Momma Bear. I'm healed enough for that." he smiled, the four getting up from their seats, hugs exchanged.
"Looking forward to your delicious spicy scrambled eggs, Kobe!" Dina smiled, the two women walking towards their bedroom, Timothée and Kolby following.
Timothée excused himself, heading for the washroom, Kolby smiling and crutching down to their bedroom.
Timothée smiled, walking into the bedroom a few minutes later, seeing Kolby sitting on the bed, staring at the mahogany box on the nightstand.
"It's back with you, my love. As it always was destined to be." he smiled, sitting down beside his man, scanning Kolby's naked chest, the man sitting in only his briefs, his clothes hanging already in the wardrobe.
Timothée's arm went around his warm back, Kolby's head going against his shoulder, the young man smiling.
"It's so unbelievable, Timbo. That I'd find it after all these years. I thought it was lost forever, a memory of my happy past, before..." he softly said, Timothée's hold tightened on him.
"It truly is my love. It's like you are, so special. It knew it had to return to you." Timothée smiled, looking at the wooden box.
"What's the large C and trees mean? It looks like a crest." he said Kolby's eyes meeting his.
"I don't know, Timbo. My mother never told me anything about that." Kolby smiled, setting the box on the nightstand, Timothée kissing Kolby's shoulder blade, more gentle kisses moving upward along it, then on his neck, Kolby smiling.
"I'm all yours, Timbo. I felt your soft jealousy in the restaurant when Daniel hugged me. He was only staring at me with friendship and so he could read my lips." Kolby smiled, Timothée stopping the kisses, lowering his eyes.
"He was so attractive. I thought he was... he was so attractive and muscular... he's nothing like me." he softly said, Kolby raising his chin, staring into his green pools.
"We were and are only casual friends. I never saw him as anything more, only a young man who needed a friend. I gave him that friendship. And I guided him to what he needed. Sports and his Robert. No man will ever change how I feel about you, Timothée. You are mine, and I am yours. Now take off those clothes and climb into this bed with me. I need your love and your amazing beauty alone." Kolby smiled, Timothée tearfully smiling at him.
"I love you so much, my Kolby. I'm sorry I was feeling jealous." he said, their lips meeting in a tender kiss of love.
"If anyone should be jealous, it's me, my Timbo. You're so beautiful, you're a sex symbol to so many fans." he smiled.
"I never bought into that role, Kobe. I'm just my skinny self. I love who I love, and that's you." Timothée smiled, Kolby seeing the honesty on his handsome face.
"I love you more, my sexy, hot, attractive, beautiful, handsome, delicious, amazing, sexy..." Kolby smiled, Timothée laughing, silencing Kolby with another kiss, the two breaking it.
"Okay, I get your point. I must really be attractive to you." he smiled, Kolby kissing his lips again.
"No one else is, my Timbo." Kolby smiled, Timothée smiling, standing up and walking over to the wardrobe, beginning to unbutton his black silk shirt, Kolby smiling and lifting his ass, pulling off his briefs, tossing them at Timothée, the man smiling and catching them, bringing them to his nose, sniffing the warmth there.
"That's pervy, stud. If you want that, come and sniff the real fucking thing." Kolby laughed, climbing under the covers, his eyes watching Timothée remove his clothes, the man putting them back into the wardrobe, his and Kolby's briefs he tossed into the hamper.
Kolby smiled, watching his naked man walk to the door, killing the lights, walking back to the bed and climbing in, the man on top of him in moments, their lips meeting, both feeling their centers hard against each other.
Timothée broke the kiss, leaning downwards, taking a deep sniff, smiling.
"Yep, much better from the source." he smiled, Kolby laughing, then gasping, Timothée's mouth wrapping around his shaft.
Kolby trembled, his man devouring him, the young man lost in the love surrounding him.
For ten minutes his man tasted him, then kissed him all over, licking his chest, his armpits and nipples, then his shaft and balls.
"Fuck babe! That's amazing! Don't fucking stop, you sexy stud!" he moaned, Timothée smiling, urged on by his man's needs.
His head went lower, licking Kolby's balls, then moving Kolby's legs upwards, his tongue going alone his stump, licking every inch of it, then moving to the muscular hairy leg, licking down it, reaching Kolby's foot, licking it, sucking on his toes, Kolby moaning more.
Timothée's eyes looked forward, seeing Kolby's center, his legs open, seeing the smoothness of that most hidden place.
He moved forward, kissing and licking his thighs, then moving towards that center.
He sniffed, only breathing in the scent of his lover, the man's aroma intoxicating.
Kolby sensed what Timothée was maybe about to do for the first time, trying to prepare for the moment.
Timothée dove in, his tongue licking Kolby's rosebud, the young man gasping, his mind flooding with emotion.
Timothée was lost in his own emotions, the man licking everywhere, the taste and scent driving him onward.
For ten minutes he tasted Kolby's center, then felt some liquid hitting his forehead, the man stopping, raising his head, seeing Kolby's cock covered in semen, the man smiling.
"That was supposed to go in my mouth, you tease." he smiled, moving upwards, licking all the moisture off his man's shaft and balls, and under them.
Kolby groaned, the man seeing his chest heaving, their eyes meeting.
"Fuck! That was intense! I can't believe you did that!" Kolby softly said, Timothée moving upwards after he'd captured all his man's essence.
Their lips met in a tender kiss, breaking it slowly, staring into each other's eyes.
"You bitch! Why didn't you tell me that ass was so fucking tasty?" Timothée smiled, Kolby laughing, slapping his naked ass.
"Not as tasty as yours, I bet." he smiled, Timothée blushing.
"I can't believe I did that. It wasn't anything like I expected, you know, gross and dirty. You're so clean and tasty." he smiled, their lips meeting again.
"Enough of the teasing down there. Ram that saber deep in me, my fucking sexy, so attractive stud. I fucking need you deep!" Kolby moaned, Timothée beaming, seeing what Kolby was offering him and why.
The man moved Kolby's legs upwards again, moving back and about to grab some lube and a condom, Kolby stopping him.
"We love each other, Timbo. You're the only one I want. We'll get tested soon. After that there will be no need for protection. We'll only need each other. You're so unbelievably attractive. Take me, you fucking adonis." he said, Timothée smiling, grabbing a condom and lube out of the nightstand drawer, their lips meeting again.
He readied himself, staring into Kolby's green pools.
"I love you, Kobe. My heart, body and soul are only yours. And you're all I need. You make me feel so alive." he said, gently guiding his shaft deep into Kolby's center, the man gasping, feeling every inch sink deeper into him.
"Enough of the foreplay, tease. Fuck me, you handsome young stud!" he moaned, Timothée smiling, increasing his rhythm, the two bonded in their need for each other.
For over an hour the two made love, switching places, Kolby sinking deep into him, then Timothée sinking back into him, the two lost in their passion, needs and desires.
They finally crested the end of their passion, Kolby pulling out of Timothée for the second time, both snuggling together, kissing each other deeply.
"We're back, my love! The beauty of our passion is back! We are a part of each other again! How I've missed it!" he tearfully smiled, kissing Kolby's sweaty chest, his eyes taking in only a very small soft bruise on Kolby's ribcage.
"Our passion never left my Timbo. I feel it every time our eyes meet." he smiled, Timothée kissing his lips.
"How do you feel, babe? That wasn't too taxing?" Timothée said, Kolby seeing the love and concern in his green eyes.
"Not at all, babe. I feel fine. But my man tires me out." Kolby smiled, their lips meeting again.
Timothée yawned himself, Kolby hugging him closer.
"To dreamland my attractive man goes." he smiled, Timothée smiling, his head going against his chest.
"Thanks for making me feel loved and beautiful." Timothée said as Kolby kissed his forehead.
"You are so beautiful to me, my Timothée. No one is more." he smiled; the two snuggling closer.
"I love you. Goodnight, my love." Timothée said, Kolby kissing his head again, his fingers in his curls.
"Goodnight, my Timbo. Your Kobe loves you more." He smiled, the two closing their eyes together.
Timothée smiled, buttering toast, standing beside his man, Kolby at the stove cooking.
"That smells like heaven, babe. I'm starving!" Timothée smiled, kissing Kolby's cheek.
The two had woken early, quietly showering together, dressing back into t-shirts and shorts then walking into the kitchen, Kolby's main agenda his Christmas Eve breakfast.
The young man smiled, balancing himself on his crutches, stirring a pan full of scrambled eggs, laced with onions, ham, peppers and mushrooms.
Pancakes, bacon, sausages and home fries were already warming in the oven.
Timothée smiled, looking towards the table, seeing Kolby had festively decorated it, wooden nutcrackers at every plate, as were wrapped Christmas crackers.
A centerpiece of greenery decorating the table's center.
"My man's so happy it's Christmas Eve." he smiled, the two kissing tenderly.
"I've always enjoyed the season; I like to have it so festive. Christmas is nothing without greenery and decorations." Kolby smiled, Timothée scanning Kolby, the young man wearing a t-shirt with Santa's smiling face on it, the shirt red, with matching green shorts.
"Well, can I sit on Santa's lap later?" he smiled, Kolby smirking.
"Sure, babe. And he's got a big candy cane for you to lick."
Timothée laughed, Dina and Nancy walking into the kitchen, Kolby smiling at them both.
"Good morning, Momma Bear and Sis. Happy Christmas Eve!" Kolby said, both kissing his cheek, hugging him and then Timothée receiving the same, Nancy smiling at the festive table and the two young men.
"Looks like the elves have been busy. That looks so beautiful! And something smells damn wonderful." she smiled, Timothée handing both each a mug of steaming coffee.
Dina had her new phone out, taking photos of the table spread.
"That's my eggs, they're done. And my hot, sexy elf helped." Kolby smiled, Timothée lightly slapping his ass.
"Have to get in good with sexy Santa." he smiled, the women laughing, sitting down at the table.
The two men kissed again, Timothée bringing the food over to the table, Kolby sitting down, leaning his crutches against the windowsill.
Kolby said a short, dignified grace, the four diving into the warm breakfast, Timothée loving his man's scrambled eggs.
"These are indeed heaven, babe. Lightly spiced and rich." he smiled, Kolby smiling.
"That's the heavy cream and chili powder, and a touch of paprika and cayenne. Makes them tender and aromatic." he smiled, Dina loving them as always.
"You're the best, Kobe! Been waiting weeks for these." she smiled, filling her plate again with eggs, Kolby grinning.
"I'll give you the recipe so you can make them at college, Sis." he smiled, Dina thanking him, the four eating heartily.
After breakfast the four opened their Christmas crackers, each going off with a bang, treasures hidden inside.
Nancy's and Dina's had gift cards and small bottles of perfume in them.
"That's for a salon near the restaurant, Momma Bear. You might as well get spiffed up for your New Year's Eve date with Henry." Kolby smiled, the older woman blushing, kissing his cheek.
"Thanks, Kobe. I do need a new hairstyle." she smiled, Timothée smiling at his man.
"Starburgers! Awesome, Kobe! I love their burgers! There's a location right by the campus! Thanks!" Dina smiled, kissing his cheek.
"You're getting too skinny." he smiled, Dina laughing, slapping his shoulder.
Timothée smiled, staring at the bottle of cologne in his hand.
"How predictable. It's my brand, Blue De Chanel." he smiled, Kolby kissing his lips.
"The scent I hunger for." he smiled, sniffing his man's smooth neck.
Timothée beamed, smiling.
"And you got yourself the same bottle. We are twins."
Nancy and Dina laughed, Kolby smiling.
"What can I say? I like the scent, and the man it's attached to."
Everyone smiled, thanking Kolby, the young man smiling more.
"We'll do the dishes, Kobe. As thanks for this fantastic breakfast." Dina said, Nancy agreeing.
"Thanks ladies. Come on, sexy. Let's get changed and do some deeper sniffing." Timothée smiled, batting his eyelashes at Kolby.
The young man laughed, Timothée picking up all their plates, putting them in the sink, the two then heading towards their bedroom.
Nancy and Dina laughed, heading for the sink.
The day flew by, the four laughing and enjoying each other's company.
Dina had popped out for wings and burgers for lunch, the four dining together again.
Christmas music filled the background, the day festive and joyful.
At four-thirty everyone got dressed for church, Timothée and Kolby selecting each other's attire.
Timothée dressed Kolby in his navy suit again, the young man looking stunning.
"Should paint the crutches blue to match." he smiled, Timothée laughing, patting his butt.
"Nah, that would take away from your singular beauty." he smiled, Kolby's eyes scanning over Timothée's slim form.
"And my man looks stunning in blue also. Woof!" Kolby smiled, taking in Timothée's light gray slacks and navy-blue dress shirt, a tweed navy blazer over it.
Timothée smiled, the two walking out of their bedroom.
They joined Nancy and Dina, the four walking out of the flat, Nancy driving due to Kolby still using crutches.
They arrived at the church, Timothée helping Kolby manage the ramp, the four smiling and walking into the church.
Timothée smiled, an usher guiding the four down the aisle, the actor seeing James Hartwick and his wife Maria in a back pew, along with Stephan, Olivia and Henry seated further ahead in a mostly empty pew.
He stopped beside James and Maria, inviting them to join the rest of them in their pew.
The two smiled, Timothée hugging James' wife, they were old friends of his mother.
The two walked with them down to their friends, the usher quietly talking to Kolby.
"I've got to go join my friends in the choir. See you later." he smiled, Timothée smiling at him, Kolby crutching down the aisle, heading through a side door.
Timothée introduced the Hartwicks to Stephan, Olivia and Henry, all greeting each other, everyone sitting down.
Ten minutes later, the choir walked out of the side door, taking its place behind the altar, Timothée smiling at his man's smiling face, Kolby standing in the middle of his choir friends, a couple having helped him reach his seat.
He saw all their smiling faces, a lot of them directed towards Kolby, glad to see their friend back among them.
Within a few minutes the minister walked out, smiling at the congregation.
"Happy Christmas, everyone. Let us all rejoice in the family and friends we have surrounding us. Let's stand and say the Lord's Prayer." she said, everyone rising, the prayer vibrating around the church.
The minister gave a blessing, talking of tomorrow's significance in our lives, and the blessings that faith and joy gave all of us.
Words from the scriptures were recited by a couple of parishioners, the minister smiling.
"Christmas is a time of joy and love. Music is a special part of this occasion, sacred hymns sung by all denominations. Our Lord's birth is surrounded by joy and love. Today we'll hear joyous hymns of faith and spirit. Now our choir will sing the first hymn, O Holy Night, sung by our lead soloist Kolby Wentworth. We welcome Kolby back after his tragic injuries last week. Our prayers have been answered in his gradual recovery." she smiled, Kolby rising from his seat, his crutches in place, the young man smiling.
The church filled with his rich tenor voice, the congregation silent and in awe as his voice carried them through the hymn.
Timothée's eye went to his friends, seeing James and his wife in tears, Stephan and Olivia holding each other close, awed by the young man's voice.
Henry's head was lowered, Timothée sensing he was lost in the music, Timothée smiling and seeing his hand was in Nancy's.
His eyes went back to his man, Kolby shining in the evening's shadowy beauty.
For the next hour more words were spoken, more hymns were sung, Kolby's voice singled out of the large group of voices, the young man lost in his happiness.
The minister ended the service, wishing everyone a festive season of love and joy.
The congregation slowly followed the minister out of the church, Timothée's arm in Dina's, Henry and Nancy following.
Everyone shook the minister's hand on the front steps, she thanking them all for coming.
Timothée saw a few younger fans waiting at the bottom of the steps, smiling, and walking down.
He chatted with them, all the young girls smiling, asking him questions.
Kolby came crutching out of the church, surrounded by his choir friends, most of them heading down to Timothée, Kolby smiling.
Henry smiled at the young man, shaking his hand.
"Amazing, Kolby! Your voice is unbelievable! You must go into music!" he said, the young man blushing.
"Thanks, Henry." Kolby said, Stephan hugging the young man.
"Amazing as ever, Kobe. Tonight, you sounded even more amazing." he smiled, Kolby thanking his friend, Olivia kissing his cheek.
"We'll see you shortly. I've got to get back and get the meal in the ovens." she smiled, Kolby nodding.
"See you shortly." Nancy smiled, she was chatting with Henry and Maria, James walking up to the young man.
"Astounding, Kolby! That solo showed all your range, from the high octaves to the lower registers. I'm astounded!" he said, Kolby seeing the redness of his eyes.
"Thank you, Mr. Hartwick. I'm touched by your honesty." he smiled, Timothée walking up to him, the choir following, surrounding Kolby, the young boys and girls marveling at the star in their midst.
"We should get going to Stephan's, boys." Nancy smiled, the two young men nodding, Kolby wishing Happy Christmas to all his choir friends, they returned the greetings, a lot aimed at Timothée as well, the two men saying goodbye and Happy Christmas.
"I'll follow you three." Henry smiled, going to his Mercedes, Nancy parked close by.
The two cars pulled out of the church parking lot, heading to Stephan and Olivia's.
A couple of hours later Timothée sighed, snuggled against his man, the two seated on a loveseat.
Across from them sat Olivia and Stephan on a sofa.
"That was heaven. You're a fantastic cook, Olivia. Stephan's going to get so fat!" Kolby smiled, Stephan slipping him a finger, the younger man laughing.
"Kobe's right, Olivia. That ham was so moist and tender. The whole dinner was perfect." Timothée smiled, Kolby rubbing his man's stomach.
"Indeed, it was, Olivia. You're a fantastic cook." Nancy said, she and Henry walked out of the kitchen, having just finished the dishes, the two volunteering.
"We left some things on the counter, dear. Not sure where they all go." Nancy smiled, Olivia smiling and standing up, walking into the kitchen.
Henry and Nancy sat down beside Stephan, the younger man smiling.
"The coffee's brewing, the evening is cozy, with good friends and warmth." Henry smiled, Nancy smiling at him.
"It's Christmas Eve. The most magical night of the year." Kolby smiled, Timothée's arm around him, their lips meeting.
Olivia walked back into the living room, carrying a tray of coffee and mugs, sitting in a wing chair beside her fiancé, their hands joining.
"I always loved Christmas when I was a child. Waiting on Santa, listening to noises, finding it hard to sleep. The excitement of the coming morning." Stephan smiled; everyone was smiling.
"Yes, it was so magical when I was a small child. Mom always made it so special." Kolby softly said, staring at the Christmas tree in the corner, everyone quietly watching him, seeing him lost in his thoughts.
"All parents make their Christmas special for their children. You don't talk much about her, Kobe." Olivia smiled, Kolby smiling at her.
"I loved her deeply. We didn't have a lot of money when I was younger, times were tough. But Mom always tried to make the holiday magical. She made homemade decorations, lots of homemade cookies and treats. Some gifts were bought, but they were meager. A lot were homemade. She was a talented seamstress, she loved to crochet, knit and sew. She always made sure I had new sweaters, mittens and toques for the winter months." he smiled, still staring at the Christmas tree, Timothée quietly watching him.
"She sounds like a wonderful person, Kolby." Henry said, Kolby quietly looking at him.
"She was, Henry." he softly said, the young man quietly returning to stare at the Christmas tree.
"I'm a little warm, I think I'll pop out onto your balcony for some fresh air, Stephan. Excuse me, everyone." Kolby softly said, Timothée smiling at him.
"Need some company, my love?" he said, Kolby smiling softly at him.
"Always, beautiful."
The two young men got up, Henry watching them leave, seeing Kolby's eyes were glistening.
"Did I say something wrong?" Henry said, looking around at the other three, Nancy patting his shoulder.
"No, Henry. You just don't know the full story. We feel you're a good friend now. You deserve the full story of Kolby's tragic life." she said, the woman beginning to talk.
On the balcony Timothée's arms were wrapped around Kolby's waist, the young man's head on his chest, the two staring out at the night's twinkling lights, the evening cool, a few snowflakes fluttering in the soft wind.
"You okay, my love?" Timothée said, kissing his forehead.
"Yeah, I'm doing okay. I just always get sentimental at Christmas, my mother just in my thoughts. I miss her the most at this time of the year." he softly said, Timothée hugging him closer, Kolby feeling his giving love.
"Thanks, babe. Your love always calms my soul." he said, Timothée smiling.
"I wish she was here. She always loved Christmas. It just seems so unfair that she's not here. Why did my life have to turn out like this? Why couldn't I have her love through all my life?" he said, his face moving against Timothée's warm chest, the man feeling a soft tremble go through the young man, sensing he was fighting back tears.
"I know, my love. Life gives us sometimes great unfair challenges. We must walk the path we're given. But you have so much love surrounding you now—Momma Bear, Dina, Henry, Stephan and Olivia. And most of all, you have me. I love you, Kobe." he said, Kolby raising his tearful eyes, their lips meeting.
"I love your being here, Timbo. You've already made the holidays so special." Kolby softly smiled, Timothée smiling back, wiping some tears from Kolby's cheeks.
"Always talk to me when you're feeling like this, blue or just moody. I'm a good listener. I love you. This is all a part of that. We share everything, the good and the bad." he smiled, Kolby hugging him tightly.
"I love your giving heart, Timbo."
"I love you, my angel."
Kolby smiled, their eyes meeting again, Timothée seeing a soft look of nervous love shining in his green pools.
"It's almost Christmas, it's only a few hours away. I wanted to give you this when we were alone. Now is as good a time as any, your love so wrapped around me." Kolby softly smiled, the young man pulling out a small, gift-wrapped box from his suit jacket pocket, Timothée smiling at him.
"An early present? For me?" he smiled, Kolby kissing his lips softly again.
"It's for both of us." Kolby softly said, handing the man the small, wrapped box.
Timothée smiled, unwrapping the gift, the man staring at a velvet box, his eyes meeting his Kobe's green.
The man slowly opened the box, his eyes widening in surprise.
Inside the box were two silver rings, each inlaid with two small emerald, green stones.
"One for each of us. The color of our twin eyes. I had both engraved." the young man softly said, Timothée smiling, pulling one out leaning it towards the light, seeing an initial T and K with a heart symbol between the two initials engraved within the sterling silver band.
"If we both agree to wear one each, they'll symbolize our love for each other. Our commitment to only each other. I hope that doesn't sound too corny, or crazy." Kolby said, lowering his eyes, Timothée pulling him closer.
"Look at me, my love." he softly said, Kolby raising his eyes, staring into two green pools of wetness.
"That's so romantic, Kolby. Our love united through rings of commitment. You're so beautiful in your thoughtful love. I think you need to put yours on." Timothée tearfully smiled, raising his hand, one of the rings already there on his slim ring finger.
Kolby smiled widely, Timothée handing him the box, Kolby slipping the last ring on his finger, slipping the box back into his suit pocket.
"They're so beautiful. The color of our eyes. Two twins of love. You make me feel so special, my Kolby." Timothée smiled, their lips meeting, a deeper kiss of love showing.
They broke their kiss, Timothée's finger going along Kolby's cheekbone.
"I love you, Kobe. My love is now committed to yours. God you're such a romantic! You keep surprising me!" he smiled, the young man smiling widely.
"You are the surprise of my life, Timothée." Kolby said, the two kissing again.
"Right now, your surprise is freezing his ass off!" Timothée laughed, Kolby rubbing his butt cheeks.
"That ass does feel chilled to the bone." he smirked, Timothée winking at him.
"It's missing the bone it needs." Timothée smirked back, the two men laughing together, Timothée hugging his man tight.
"Feeling better, my love?" he said, staring into Kolby's green pools.
"Your smile always washes away the blues from my soul. Thanks, my Timbo."
Timothée smiled, taking his hand in his, the two walking back into the flat.
Stephan and Olivia smiled at Kolby and Timothée, Henry rising to his feet, Kolby seeing the soft compassion and concern in the older man's face, his eyes showing glistening wetness.
He walked up to Kolby, his arms going around him, hugging the young man tightly.
The young man smiled, hugging him back.
"You have such strength, such courage, my young friend! The tortured life you walked through! I didn't know, Kolby! The courageous, giving man you've become!" Henry said, Timothée seeing the genuine compassion on the man's face as he broke the embrace.
"It was my past, Henry. I lived it, I survived it. I'm living in the present and hoping for the future. That's all one can do." he said, Henry nodding, his hand going to Kolby's shoulder.
"Anything you need, anything, I'm here for you. I hope to be with you on that path forward." Henry softly smiled, patting the young man's shoulder, Kolby smiling at him.
"Thanks, Henry. You've already done so much." he said, Henry nodding.
"It's called friendship, Kolby. You'll always be more than an employee. All of us sense a great future ahead for you." Henry smiled, Timothée's arm going around his man, Kolby smiling at him.
"It's going to be surprising with this ball and chain permanently attached to me, but he makes up for it with his sexiness." Kolby smiled, Henry laughing, the others joining in, Timothée lightly slapping Kolby's butt, their eyes meeting, Kolby nodding.
"Look what Kolby's given us, everyone!" Timothée grinned, raising both of their hands, everyone seeing the identical rings on their right-hand fingers.
"They're commitment rings! We're now committed to always being together. I love him, and he loves me!" Timothée beamed, everyone seeing the joy on the actor's face.
That look was matched with Kolby's.
The women all stood up, surrounding the two young men and Henry, all taking close looks at the rings.
"That's so beautiful, Kobe! Rings of togetherness! Green stones like your identical eyes." Nancy smiled, kissing his and Timothée's cheeks.
"We're not engaged or anything. We're just in love and committed to each other's happiness." Kolby smiled, Timothée smiling at him, their hands going together.
"That ring will come later, babe." he smiled, Kolby looking surprised, Timothée kissing his lips, breaking the kiss and staring into his green eyes.
"I'm in this for the long haul, my Kobe. Our love will grow throughout our lives. That one day will be our greater commitment." he smiled, Kolby softly smiling back, Stephan's arm going around his friend's waist.
"You never gave me a ring, stud?" Stephan smiled, Kolby grinning at him.
"No need to. Olivia's already got one through your nose, her sexy bull." he said, Stephan blushing, everyone laughing.
"And now that I'm in your arms, let's put that mistletoe to work." Kolby smiled, Timothée pulling out a sprig of mistletoe from his jacket pocket, handing it to Kolby, the young man raising it over Stephan's head.
"Pucker up, baby! And I want some tongue!" he grinned, Stephan backing up, his hands in the air.
"I am not touching those lips! They got Chalamet juice on them." he grinned, Kolby smiling at him.
"Fine then. Kiss this!" Kolby smiled, turning around and hanging the mistletoe from his butt.
Everyone roared with laughter, Stephan blushing, slapping Kolby's ass hard.
"That's got Chalamet all over it, too!" he laughed, Timothée's arms going around his man.
"His lips and his ass are all mine, thank you. And they're damn fine!" Timothée grinned, Kolby's lips meeting his, Stephan smiling, Olivia's arm going around her man.
"Looks like you're stuck with me, sweetie." she smiled, Stephan smiling, kissing her lips.
"That suits me fine. Chalamet can deal with Kobe's skinny butt."
Timothée smiled, his arm going around his man.
"Let's sit down and have more coffee." Kolby smiled, everyone returning to their seats, Timothée snuggling against his man.
He smiled, quietly staring at the young man.
I'm going to love you forever, my Kobe.
And this is going to be the best Christmas ever.
He smiled, looking forward to tonight's love.
End of Chapter 21

Kolby sang his heart out, his man lost in his voice.

What will happen when he goes to New York?
Will music claim him, or will artistry grab his soul?
Next, Christmas arrives.
With some surprises.
Hugs, Angel.
