Disclaimer: No, I don't know *N Sync...wait...Receives a message from Nimm Oh sorry. I don't know the BSB. If you think I'm a Backstreet boy, go away. This is all fictional.

A short message from KN: Now I know I haven't been shamelessly plugging in stories but I need you guys to check out 'Watching You Without Me' If you look past the initial shock, you might find something good in there. It's worth a look.

Also read any fics by NCfan and Sophie V. Those two are the best authors I know.

And let's not forget Carter's 'Open Arms.' It should be updated soon enough. At least I HOPE so. (Carter, you lied to me!)

Ok, my friend Lum's writing this chapter. Please, be nice to her.

Part 2: "Lead a friend Through an unfamiliar world Teach unfamiliar things And fall in love all over again."

"Who are you?" Nick repeated. He stopped. "Who am I?" The man seemed taken aback by his question earlier. "Why am I here? Where am I?"

Brian finally found his voice. "You're in the hospital. A car hit you. Your name's Nick. I'm Brian."

"Brian..." he rolled the new name on his tongue. He smirked inside; what a beautiful name. Such a name to suit the beautiful man with him. "Brian, why are YOU here?" he asked.

"I'm here for you, Nick." Brian replied quietly.

"Well, the patients checks out fine. He should be able to go home today." Dr. Albright smiled. "How are you feeling, Nick?"

"Scared and confused." Nick quietly admitted. He saw Brian get up and head towards the door. "WAIT!" he called out. Brian turned and faced him. "Where are you going?" he asked.

Brian smiled. "I'm going to the hotel to get you some clothes."

"Oh...ok." he sighed. He leaned back in the pillows. I guess I can be safe with Brian, he thought, and I FEEL safe around him. He smiled at how he remembered how warm he felt when Brian was near him. He smirked to himself.

Brian returned a few minutes later with some clothes. "Here you go, Nick. The bathroom's over there. You DO remember how to dress yourself, right?" he asked jokingly. Nick blushed and shook his head. Brian blushed and ushered his friend into the restroom where he instructed him how to put his clothes on. They returned a few minutes later and Nick looked over himself.

"Brian?" he called.

"Yeah?"

"Why did you say 'going to the hotel'? Don't we live in a home?"

Brian chuckled. "Nick, we're in a group called the Backstreet Boys. We sing for a living."

"Are we famous?" Nick asked excitedly.

"Just take a look outside." Nick removed the curtains and saw a plethora of fans screaming for him. He quickly closed the curtains; his eyes huge.

"Wow." He let out a nervous laugh. "Guess that answers my question, huh?" They headed out to the limo and drove to the hotel. "So, is there a way to regain my memory?" he asked suddenly.

"Well, there IS a way to fill you in on what's going on." Brian smiled. "Go online and search for Profile: Backstreet Boys. That should fill you in on what's happening." They walked up to the penthouse where everyone was waiting. A small, red-haired woman came up and hugged Nick.

"Welcome back, Nick." She looked like she had tears in her eyes.

"Nick, this is Mrs. McLean. AJ's mom." Brian said.

"I'm AJ McLean." A man covered in tattoos and wild hair coloring shook his hand. "It stands for Alexander James McLean. I'm the son of this fine woman." Nick chuckled at AJ's antics.

"I'm Howie." Howie briefly said. "We used to go to auditions together when we were young." Nick smiled.

"I'm Kevin. Brian's cousin."

"That's what he reminds the crowd every single day." AJ said in a stage whisper. Nick laughed as Kevin glared at him.

"Well, Nick, if there's anything you need help with, just ask." Kevin explained.

"How long has this gone?" he asked immediately.

"You mean, the group?" Nick nodded. "About 8 or 9 years."

His blue eyes widened. "Wow. That's a long time."

"So, welcome home, Nicky." Howie whispered. "We better get to our rooms before Kev kicks us out. Night." Howie strolled out.

"Well, young man?" asked Mrs. McLean.

"Yeah, yah, I'm going to bed too." AJ grumbled as he made his way out.

"C'mon, Nick, I'll show you to our room." Brian led Nick out of Kevin's room as the blonde waved goodbye. They entered the room across from Kevin's as Brian sat down on a chair and Nick sat down on the floor.

"Brian?"

"Yeah, Nick?"

"Why do we share the same room?" he asked.

Brian paused. "I'll tell you when you have a better understanding of everything. Good night, Nick. I'll take the couch, you can take the bed." Nick nodded and snuggled under the limp covers while Brian got comfortable on the couch.

"Brian?"

"Yeah, Nick?"

Nick paused. He wanted to say something nice but what? "Good night." Nick managed to stutter.

Brian smiled and left a lamp on. "Good Night, Nick." He closed his eyes. Maybe this was a chance to fall in love...all over again.
