Author's Notes*****
Again, I'm not even going to explain why I didn't get this out sooner, and really I don't see why it would matter. I've been getting less and less feedback, so I'm left to wonder who's still reading it.
First off lemme just say that this one is obviously shorter than the others. It's getting hard to write with such little time, so it's quite miraculous that this chapter is out like this. So, just be happy with it, k?
I gotta say THANK YOU to MH, cause if it weren't for him, you wouldn't be reading this story in a legible format. I owe him a lot, and I can never express all my gratitude towards him. You're the bestest! (And you know I mean it!)
I want to say thank you to Ice A.K.A. Jordan, who's decided to give me a little space on her site to host my story. It's such an honour to have my work hosted on the same site as her stories. Can ya tell I'm her #1 fan? So anyways sexy, thank you, for giving me the space, and for putting up with that long-ass html coding that needs to be done to each and every chapter. It means a lot. You can GIVE MY SECTION A PEEP on her site at: http://www.envy.nu/coldasice/sprout.html or CHECK OUT HER PAGE, you won't be disappointed: http://www.envy.nu/coldasice/welcome.html
Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to two of my best friends in the world. Yeah, the sickeningly sweet and incredibly amazing couple: DLS and Matt. You'll never know just how much the both of you mean to me, and I can never find the words to do justice. At times you may get on my nerves, but it's all out of love. I love you, both.
I gotta give mention to a story, Kevin & Justin, written by Pete. I fell upon it by having the same editor (go figure), and can't get enough of it. C'mon Boo, it's been FOREVER, when's the next chapter coming out?
Also, keep your eyes peeled for the new Herbal Essence commercial. It features my incredibly sexy boys; 98 Degrees. Unfortunately none of them are making any orgasmic noises, but you know, I'll take what I can get when I get it.
You know the rules... don't read if you ain't allowed, this is fake, my fantasies... yeah, there.
Enjoy and write me: bigdaddycool_0813@hotmail.com
Drew
THIS GIFT -- Last Time********
"Oh, shit!" He was about to make a mad dash up the stairs, when Lance held them forth for Drew to take. "Thanks", he quickly gave Lance a kiss on the lips, then pulled me to the cab so we could make our way to the airport. Lance stood motionless, shocked, with a slight blush creeping into his cheeks and a Cheshire grin plastered on his face.
All the way there I couldn't shake the image of Drew kissing Lance, and the smile it elicited from Lance each time he had. 'It was only a kiss' I reminded myself. 'Nothing to get worked up about...' Still, I couldn't help the stirring in my groin and the beginnings of an erection from occurring with the thought.
'Drew kissed Lance... and Lance liked it... and I liked it...' My thoughts surrounded the image of them kissing as we boarded the plane and I fell asleep in my seat waiting for the plane to take off.
THIS GIFT -- Chapter 10*******
I awoke just as the plane landed and taxied towards the terminal. It was the best flight I had ever had -- I slept through the whole thing without any problems. Drew and I decided it would be best if we waited while the other passengers disembarked, so we could avoid as many fans as possible.
Nick was supposed to be waiting for us on the other side, somewhere out there, probably by baggage claims. As we left the plane, a feeling of nervousness swept over me. Here I was, in Los Angeles for the first time, about to see my man do his work. This was a sign that I was truly a part of Drew's life now; if I didn't feel nervous I think I'd have to be worried.
Just as I had thought, Nick was waiting for us in baggage claims. Of course he was disguised, but anyone who knew him would know who it was. As we approached Nick, he embraced Drew in a hug and soon followed up with me. "It's nice to finally get to see you guys again... WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GO!?" Nick was still obviously upset.
"Can we discuss this when we get home?" Drew asked while giving Nick a look which screamed 'Don't argue with me!'
"Yeah, sure whatever. You've left us in the dark for however long, what's another hour or two?" Nick had a bitter tone, which disturbed me. This was the same Nick that I looked up to?
"Nick, can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked. "Drew, look for your bags alright?"
I pulled Nick off to the side, not wanting Drew to hear. "Nick, please, drop the attitude. You wanna know where we went? We went to France. Drew took me to France, alright? He's fucked up a lot lately and he wanted to make it up to me, and I'm sure you'd do the same for Jess." I waited while Nick's features softened as he nodded.
"He's very sensitive about the whole trip cause he got hurt while he was there, so please, just be nice. If not for him, for me?"
"I was just worried and... I missed you guys." Nick gave me a sad face, which was just too cute to stay angry at. I leaned in, giving him a kiss on the cheek and another hug.
"Hey, hey! I leave for one second and you're making out with my man." Drew joked. I was glad that he was joking, he was always able to put his anger on the side when it came to Nick. They shared a bond I would never be able to understand, not that I'd even begin to try.
Since Drew had his luggage, we headed towards the exit so that I could finally enter my man's life. "So where'd you park the car?" I asked looking out over the vast parking lot full of cars.
"At the very, very back." I gave him a look of disgust. "What? I came late, alright?" He explained while shrugging his shoulders.
"Fuck, you could've done some illegal parking, it's not like you can't pay for the ticket." I joked.
"Drew... what have you been doin' to your man? I think he's corrupted."
"Trust me, Nick, I ain't doin' nothing to him; he's doin' it all to me." Drew supplied while I blushed slightly.
"I don't think I want to know." Nick said holding up his hands as a gesture to not carry out that thought any further.
"Sure, I know you want the details." Nick gave me an exasperated look while he unlocked the driver's side door. Drew had called shot gun which left me in the backseat as always. Not that I mind though, cause, hell, I can do whatever I want back there.
As we drove I didn't pay attention to the conversations passing through the vehicle. I was so engrossed in the city passing by me. Never in my life had I seen anything so welcoming before. All of it, calling me to be a Lachey.
'Would I be a Lachey, or a Lachey-Paquette, or a Paquette-Lachey? Damn this is harder than I thought. If I was just Lachey, it'd be confusing having two of us. On the other hand, either way there'll be two of us. I don't like Paquette-Lachey, and well, maybe Lachey-Paquette, but that's just too awkward sounding...'
"D!" Nick was trying to get my attention. Snapping back to reality, I turned in his direction. "Damn, what were you thinkin' about, you had this serious look on your face."
"Huh? What?" -- I was still half-zoned.
"What were you thinkin' about?" he repeated.
Forgetting completely that Drew was in the car, I answered honestly. "I was trying to decide which sounds better: Drew Lachey, Drew Paquette-Lachey, or Drew Lachey-Paquette."
Nick's eyes widened. "Wow... um... well... uh."
"Drew Lachey-Paquette." Drew offered.
"Drew Lachey-Paquette?"
"Actually, yeah. That sounds good." Nick advised.
'Drew Lachey-Paquette... sounds good... yeah I like it.' I decided I'd voice my thoughts, "Yeah, I like it." I had the stupidest grin on my face, I could feel it.
"Ah, love... look what it does. You're back there with some kind of grin on your face, Drew's up here with a glazed-over-love-struck look in his eyes... what am I gonna do with you two?" Nick asked as he pulled into a garage.
"I dunno. Live with it?" I said, opening my door so I could get out.
"Guess so." He said with a sigh as he unlocked the door to the house.
As soon as we passed through the door, Drew pushed me up against the wall, kissing me like mad crazy. "I love you!"
"I love you, too."
He kissed me again with a fiery hot passion that ignited a stirring in my pants. "Let's go grab something to eat, and you have to call your mama, and I have to call mine, too."
Not one to complain much, I agreed with Drew and walked into their kitchen. It wasn't their permanent house, just a temporary one while they recorded the album. They seemed to like to record in L.A. a lot, so they decided to buy a house -- all four of them -- to use while they were in the area.
Grabbing the cordless off the table, I dialled my mama's number and waited for the phone to be picked up. Four rings and still no answer -- I knew she'd probably be out. Deciding the best thing would be to leave a message, I waited for the voice mail to pick up the call.
Finally the message played back and beeped so that I could leave a message. "Mama, I just wanted to call to let you know that I'm in L.A. I'm with Drew, they're recording down here and since I've got some time off and Drew offered, I decided to come down for a bit. I'll call you back later when I get the chance. K? Love you. Bye."
I hung up the phone and sat down in one of the chairs surrounding the beautiful wood table. Taking the opportunity to take in my surroundings, I began to look around. The kitchen, to me, was state of the art. It seemed to have everything you could possibly need. 'Damn, these boys got cash,' I though. 'They gotta to own a temporary house like this!'
Getting out of the chair, I walked over to the sliding doors in the far left wall. Peeking out I instantly fell in love with the back yard. There had to be the greenest grass I've ever seen, not to mention a pond surrounded by natural looking rocks. Still fascinated with awe, I opened the door and slowly walked my way down the path towards a swing that sat underneath a large tree.
Sitting on the swing and pulling my feet up under me, I began swaying back and forth admiring the beautiful view before me. Some people pay hundreds of dollars to relieve their stresses; all I had to do was come and sit here. Every ounce of tension and stress vanished as I watched the ripples move across the pond. I had fallen in love with a pond, it sounds pathetic, but at that moment, I claimed the pond as my own.
What must've been several hours later, I awoke. The sun was just beginning to set and I was now lying down on the swing, only my head was in Drew's lap as he gently traced patterns on my temple with one hand and ran the other through my hair. Yeah, I was truly in love with this place.
"Good evening, Sleeping Beauty." Drew's voice was soft.
"Good evening, Prince Charming." I leaned up and placed a gentle kiss on Drew's lips.
"If I'm your Prince Charming, then why are you kissing me? I should be kissing you, shouldn't I?" Drew asked.
"I was never really any good with fairy tales."
"I ain't gonna complain." With that he leaned down again, placing another kiss on my lips, gently sliding his tongue inside to explore the insides of my mouth.
We sat rocking back and forth in silence for a bit. I loved moments like this, we didn't have to say anything, just being there together was enough for of us. Drew may have been a very lucky man to have me, but I was the luckiest in the world to have him want me. Suddenly, other images began to pop into my head and I couldn't help but ask.
"Drew?"
"Hmm?"
"What's the deal with Lance?" I asked, turning my head to look him in the eyes.
Drew's eyes bulged slightly, a blush came to his face, and he suddenly had a deer-caught-in-headlights countenance. He was so adorable and the internal battles he was struggling with was very amusing. Swallowing hard, Drew uneasily asked, "Lance?" 'Was that a crack in his voice?'
"Yeah, Lance. Cute bass singer... blond spiky hair... ridiculously large but incredibly sexy Adam's apple? Yeah, Lance."
"W-w-what about Lance?" He was stuttering, a sure sign that there was something up.
"Well, I noticed that you kissed him a couple of times and you know, it kinda looked like Lance liked it."
"Y-y-yeah, I g-guess I kissed Lance, but Andrew you gotta believe me, it was accidental. I was just so happy that you were coming with me, and that I had you, and then he had the tickets, and then I just gave him a kiss cause I was thinking of you..." He was rambling.
"Isn't that a line from Lance's group? 'Thinking of you'? Seriously Drew, what's going on?" I was becoming a little serious, though in all honesty it was only a joke.
"D. Believe me when I say I love you, cause I do..." Where was he going with this? "Lance doesn't mean that to me, you mean that to me. Lance is just... Lance is just... well, Lance is just a crush."
"A crush?" I feigned hurt.
"Yeah, a crush... but it's you I love." It was cute how Drew was trying to smooth things over.
"Took you long enough to admit it!" I laughed, leaning up to kiss him on the lips with passion. "Now, don't you feel better that you got that off your chest?"
"You knew? You knew this entire time? And you just let me go through all the torture?"
"Well, Drew, he is cute, and I did have a crush on him for a long time, before I met you." I explained.
"You're an ass. Fuck you." Drew said with a mock angered tone.
"Hopefully, that'll be happening sometime soon." I pushed myself up off of him and walked back to the house. Looking back over my shoulder I explained, "I gotta pee, I'll be right back."
I did my business and walked back through the kitchen to the back yard again, making a pit stop to grab two cans of 7Up. "You know, it's coincidental that 7Up just happens to be one of my favourite soft drinks and you have it in your fridge." I walked down the steps of the porch and slowly walked towards the swing, taking in the beauty of this magnificent backyard.
"You should thank Nick for that one. He went to the store to get some Yoohoo but they didn't have any, so he picked that up instead." Drew supplied.
"Remind me to thank him later." I took a seat beside Drew on the swing and handed him one of the sodas. "This yard is beautiful."
"Yeah, I know. The yard is really what made us buy the house. The house was alright, we were still sceptical about buying it until the retail lady showed us the yard. I fell in love with it. That's why we're here today, actually. Nobody else wanted it, but I did. I bought it. I used all of what I could scrounge together and bought it. Eventually the other guys started to like it and paid their dues, but yeah, I fell in love with this place... just like I fell in love with you."
I was touched, to say the least. I couldn't resist, so I pulled him in for a fiery kiss. "Drew?"
"Yeah?"
"Would you sing for me?"
A slight smile crept across his face -- you know the irresistible one I keep talking about. "You want me to sing for you?" I nodded. "What do you want me to sing?"
"Whatever you want to; I just want to hear your voice." I know I blushed right then. He was my boyfriend, yet I couldn't help but feel like a twelve year-old girl when I asked him to sing.
"Ok, here it goes: All I am, all I'll be, Everything in this world, All that I'll ever need, is in your eyes, Shining at me..."
Drew chose the perfect song for the moment. His angelic voice blended with the beauty surrounding me, creating a heavenly atmosphere and a sense of belonging. This is where I was meant to be. I couldn't help but think that everything in my life was perfect at that moment in time -- it was.
"...If you're asking do I love you this much, mmm baby, I do." As the last syllable stretched from his lips, I pulled him in for another kiss -- damn wasn't I affectionate.
"I love you too, baby." It felt inadequate. Drew was able to proclaim his love for me in such a heart warming and breathtaking fashion, and all I could do was tell him. Sometimes I wondered what talent God had bestowed upon me, I couldn't tell what it was.
"C'mon sexy, let's go inside and get something to eat. I'm sure Nick's prepared a little something for us." Drew said while standing and grabbing my hand.
"Nick can cook?" I asked incredulously.
Drew chuckled, "Obviously you weren't listening, I said a little something."
Little was right. As we walked into the kitchen, a gust of smoke filled my lungs. Coughing for fresh air, I managed to ask "What the fuck is going on?"
"I made you dinner." Nick stated matter of factly.
"Oh? What is it?" My tone lightened up considerably.
"Go sit at the table, I'll bring it to ya in a sec." I complied with his directions, pulling Drew to sit at the table with me. Soon enough, Nick brought me a can of 7Up and Drew a glass of orange juice. While I opened the can, Nick went back to the stove and brought my plate with my dinner.
It -- whatever it was -- was burnt. "So, what do you call this?" I asked. Drew was having a hard time containing his laughter, biting his bottom lip to keep from having an outburst. I kicked him under the table, earning a questioning look from Nick.
"It's called a grilled cheese sandwich. Don't tell me you haven't heard of it before?" If this was a grilled cheese sandwich, I was surely surprised. It looked more like a lump of coal.
"Well, try it already, I wanna know if I made it good or not." The look of anticipation on his face and excitement in his voice tugged at my heart. 'Why do these boys have to have irresistible pouts and adorable faces?' I couldn't hurt his feelings; after all, he didn't have to cook me dinner.
With his eyes glued to me, I picked up the sandwich and ever-so-carefully took a bite, careful as to not burn my tongue. I followed my mouthful with a swig of 7Up, not because the sandwich tasted horrible, but merely because the cheese was still extremely hot and it burned my tongue. The sandwich wasn't that bad actually, not bad at all.
"So, how is it?" he asked, his eyes full of hope.
"Surprisingly, it's not half-bad. Kinda good actually." I admitted with a smile.
"You're kidding me, right?" Drew asked, shock clearly evident.
"No, taste for yourself." I slid the sandwich over to Drew who reluctantly took a bite. His face was all contorted as he began to chew, slowly easing as contented sounds came from him.
"Mmmm, this actually is good... how come you never make my sandwiches this good?" Drew asked Nick.
"I was trying to get you to make your own damn sandwiches." Nick laughed.
"Oh." Drew had this incredibly sexy hurt look on his face, which I couldn't help but kiss. And kiss again. And, oh wait... yup, it was still there, and again.
"Drew, I love you."
"I love you, too baby." Drew pulled me closer to him in order to get a better kiss. As I moved closer I straddled Drew and began kissing him feverishly, sliding my tongue into his mouth to battle over the territory within. I heard Nick groan. Still I didn't let up; I wanted my man and I wanted him now!
Suddenly we were drenched in freezing cold water. Any signs of being turned on had disappeared immediately. "Why you little bastard!" I exclaimed turning in the direction the water had come from. I was expecting to see Nick, but in turn Justin was standing there bucket in hand and a smile spread widely across his face.
"Oh, sorry. I saw smoke and thought there was a fire." Justin explained with a chuckle. "And it was pretty hot in here..." he continued while fanning himself.
"You're dead you little bitch." Drew said with a laugh as he lifted me off of his lap so that he could charge after Justin. Justin, being the smart one he is, bolted off.
"Ahh, and that's your man?" Nick asked leaning against the counter.
"Yeah," I sighed, "That's my man, and I love him."
"Love makes me sick." Jeff had just entered the kitchen and was rummaging around in the fridge. "I mean, look at Drew and D, they're so sickeningly cute together at times. And no matter how many times Drew fucks up, D always seems to take him back."
"That's only because of three reasons," I began. "One, he always makes up for it. Two, he's got an irresistible pout. And three, his kisses are so damn orgasmic they can make me cum in my pants."
Jeff spewed his mouthful of orange juice all over Nick and leered over at me. "You're ill, you know that? Ill!"
"Thanks Jeff... I needed a shower." Nick grabbed a cloth from the second drawer and began to wipe himself off. "So... you can actually... you know, cum from his kisses?" Nick was a little embarrassed, ducking his head to avoid eye contact.
"Well, it hasn't happened... yet. I'm not saying that it's going to either, but the way he uses his tongue to just..."
"ENOUGH!" Jeff cut me off. "I don't need to hear his techniques."
"Who's techniques?" Justin asked, walking into the house from the back porch, soaking wet.
"I was just telling them how when Drew kisses me, I wanna cum in my pants." I offered.
"That's um... interesting." I knew Justin thought I was whack -- his face told it all.
"I make you wanna cum in your pants?" Drew's eyes lit up and a Cheshire grin spread across is face, as he also returned to the kitchen. I knew that look. That was the look that screamed, "Let's go fuck." Not like we had had sex, yet, but I knew what he was implying.
"Sometimes." I admitted.
"I am so not hearing this." Jeff made to cover his ears.
"Aw, c'mon Jeff. You wanna cum in your pants too?" Drew questioned, moving towards Jeff.
"FUCK NO! I don't wanna feel like no damn twelve year-old having a wet dream. Like I said at the beginning of this conversation: Love makes me sick."
An easy silence befell the room, which was abruptly ended by the shrill sound of the telephone. Justin, being the closest to the phone, had answered it. "Hello? Oh, hi Lance." At the sound of Lance's name, Drew's head perked up and it was all I could do to suppress a laugh.
"Yeah, I'm good. How was your flight back? That's good to hear. Drew? Which one? Oh, alright." Justin looked up at Drew, "Drew, the phone's for you."
Drew was across the room and on the phone in record time. Everyone passed each other looks of confusion as to why he was jetting over to the phone. "Lance? HEY!" Drew's cheeks suddenly reddened a few shades -- it was cute how he was hot and bothered over this crush.
"Naa, we got here fine. Oh, I wanted to thank you again for the tickets. Well, yeah... maybe that was a bit much. No, it's okay. Really."
"And we're listening in on his conversation why?" Nick brought to our attention.
"Because what he's saying ain't as gross as what D would be saying?" Jeff offered.
"Ah, amen to that brother. Amen to that!" Justin concurred.
Deciding that standing around the kitchen listening to Drew talking to Lance wasn't what we wanted to be doing, I suggested we relocate to the living room so we could at least chill and watch something on TV. Leading the way to the living room, I kissed Drew on the cheek and told him where I'd be, earning a nod to show he understood.
"So what's on tonight ladies?" I joked.
"Ladies?" Jeff questioned.
"Oh, I know he didn't just call me a lady." Nick said semi-seriously.
"You're just lucky that you're my bandmates boy or else your ass would be mashed!" Justin plopped down onto the sofa, picking up the remote to turn on the TV.
"You know y'all love me." I supplied.
"Unfortunately," was the unanimous reply.
We all grabbed our seats as Justin flicked through the stations looking for something suitable to watch. "OH! J, back up. Again. Sweet! Let's watch this."
"Survivor?" Jeff was sceptical. "Why?"
"Jeff, man, this is only the best show ever. You can't miss it!" I explained. Justin was satisfied with my explanation and placed the remote on the coffee table. I was loving the show, the challenge was amazing, and the tribe I was voting for had won giving them extra blankets and some matches.
By halfway through the show Nick's head had fallen onto my shoulder -- he'd fallen asleep. Figuring that he was nice enough to make me supper, even though it wasn't much, I'd be nice enough to just let him sleep on my shoulder. Besides, I welcomed the warmth his head was bringing.
"Yo, D? You want something to drink?" Justin was making a run to get some food while there was a commercial.
"Yeah J, just a glass of water." He nodded and left for the kitchen. Several minutes later, just as the show was returning from break, Justin came back from the kitchen with our drinks and a huge smile on his face.
"What's so funny?" Jeff prompted.
"I think your boy," Justin glanced at me, "is having phone sex with a Mr. Bass." I had to laugh at the idea. Though I knew it might've been true, it didn't bother me in the least. I trusted Drew. "When I walked into the kitchen, whatever they were saying was hushed instantly and he turned about six shades redder." He laughed.
Justin placed a bottle of water on the table before me, slouching back into the couch opposite my place on the loveseat. Leaning forward a bit, being careful not to wake Nick, I took a sip of my water and placed it back. Reclining onto the loveseat once more, Nick snuggled closer, bringing his left hand up to my chest and placing his face in the crook of my neck. Damn these Lachey boys are sexy!
I let his hand be -- like the warmth from his head, it was a welcome feeling. I loved it. I began to slowly run my hand through his hair, delicately tracing patterns on his left temple every so often.
Beginning to concentrate more on the patterns than to the TV, my eyelids slowly became heavier and heavier. Eventually their weight won the battle and I drifted into a comfortable state of sleep.
'I have to pee.' That was the first thought in my head as I opened my eyes. 'Fuck, my back hurts,' that was the second. Every time I slept on a couch my back hurts after. It never made much sense to me, but it always seemed to happen. But I wasn't on a couch, I was on a loveseat. Pretty damn cramped wouldn't you say?
Enough about my bitching; I had to piss and piss is what I was gonna do. One problem: somehow I had ended up lying down on the loveseat in Nick's arms and covered in a sheet. 'Drew, I love you.' I thought to myself as I tried to disentangle myself from Nick. I knew it was him who covered us up, and it was probably him who suggested that they leave us there on the loveseat too. Of course he would've hated sleeping alone, but like I said before, Nick and Drew shared this complicated bond, and Drew somehow knew that Nick needed someone.
Something was wrong with Nick, that much was clear now, and as I finally managed to wriggle free to get off the loveseat, I mentally kicked myself for not realising it before. I should've known by the way Nick was holding onto me that there was something bothering him. He was protecting me, always thinking of other people aside from himself.
I did my business, washed my hands and made a quick decision: Drew would be fine alone for the night, right now Nick needed someone and I'd be there for him. Come to think of it, when was the last time I heard him talk about Jessica? It'd been a while. And fuck, I never bother to ask him about her. Here I go again with my selfishness worrying only about my life and how fucked up it could be. I frowned, 'What kind of friend am I? How could I be so fuckin' insensitive?'
Standing over Nick, I took the time to look him over. He was beautiful. Sleep is such a beautiful thing; it always brings out the innocence of even the most devilish person. And awake Nick was devilish, always concocting practical jokes to play on me just to see me smile. But now, that devilish grin was gone, the lines on his face all smoothed out, he was just... beautiful.
I crawled back into Nick's embrace and eventually fell back asleep; feeling safe, secure and loved.
As the sun began to shine through the slats of the blinds into the living room and on my face, my eyes fluttered open. The first sight I saw was that of pure beauty: Nick Lachey. I never really noticed him before, my boyfriend's brother. It was forbidden ground so what was the point of checking him out? There was none -- exactly my point.
Lying there, staring at Nick's face, I couldn't help but reach my hand to his face and trace the curve of his jaw, so square and masculine. From his jaw my fingers moved up to linger over his eyebrows, down the bridge of his nose until they finally reached his lips. Running them over the firm softness elicited a slight moan from Nick.
This moan was the beginning of his waking-up stage as he began to slowly rouse from slumber. His eyes opened. After his eyes focused on who was before him, a smile spread across his face, my fingers still planted. "G'mornin' D." OH SWEET MOTHER OF MERCY! I thought Drew was the only one who had a sexy morning voice but DAYUM! Nick changed my theory on that one. It wasn't anything like Drew's, but was just as sexy.
"Hey," I said, not trusting my voice to say anything else.
"How'd you sleep?"
"I slept alright, never really sleep that good when I'm on the couch though." I explained.
"Why didn't you go to bed?" he asked around my fingers, still pressed on his lips.
"I thought you could use someone, and you were so warm, and comfy, and sexy."
"I'm sexy?" his lips spread into an even wider grin.
"Nick, it ain't that hard to see it."
"Well, others say I am, but I just didn't think you would think I'm sexy."
"Why not?" I asked.
"It just seemed like you wouldn't ever say that."
"You'd be surprised." My hand slipped from his mouth down to his defined chest. Our eyes locked and we slowly moved into one another. Lips met with a fiery passion as we shared a kiss. His tongue pressed forward, urging me to allow it entrance to my mouth, which I did. God, he tasted good. Our tongues swirled around within each other's mouths as I felt his nipples through his thin shirt. Damn, this boy was hot!
"What the fuck? You cock-sucking, mother-fucking, son of a pussy-licking whore of an asshole!" Breaking our kiss, I turned to see Drew standing in the doorway to the living room looking towards us with rage in his eyes. Within seconds he crossed the room and his fist came in contact with Nick's face.
"How could you? Why would you? Fuck you!" Tears were streaming down Drew's face as he pounded Nick's face with each statement. "You're my own brother, Nick. My blood..." Drew trailed off as he collapsed on the floor, nothing more than a heap of emotions.
Nick accepted each blow Drew gave him. He'd done the unacceptable; he'd moved in on his brother's man. How shameful is that? He deserved a lot worse. I know that's what he was thinking -- it just had to be. "Drew..." I reached out to touch Drew's shoulder, but he shrugged away.
"Don't touch me. You fuckin' whore! Don't fuckin' touch me!" His words stung me, creating a stabbing pain in my heart. He called me a whore. Of all people, he called me a whore. That hurt.
"Drew, just listen to me... it was an accident..."
"Andrew, just don't talk to me right now. Alright... It's always about you, isn't it? Just leave me alone and let me think things through and maybe, if you're lucky enough, I'll take your sorry-ass back." With that, he left. Just got up and walked out of the room, out of the house to the shrine in the backyard.
"Nick, we fucked up."
"Yeah... we did."
TBC...
