After they had finished showering Clarence decided that he needed to speak to his father, Dion had asked for his hand in joining but he still needed to get his father's permission, but where would they live at, he didn't wish to leave the home farm it was the only home he had ever known. Maybe things were moving too, fast but after the deal with the baby he had to consider someone else.

Dion realized this was a lot for Clarence to handle but he wasn't going to step aside, he was going to stand by him and support him in his decision.

Dion, I need to tell you something and please understand that I will not waver on this.

Clarence, might I interject something before you get started? He looked at him with a firm face.

Okay you first but I need to be heard.

I purchased a small piece of land next to the Rosenburg's property so we can be near you family's place, so we can have a place of our own to raise our children.

Clarence stood there looking at Dion with an inquisitive facial expression. There are no small pieces of land next-door to the Rosenburg's, there's a giant piece but that's too much land for anyone to afford.

Dion grinned, not for me Clarence.

Dion what you mean not for you? I don't like liars and what you're saying right now does not sound correct, you work at the Z1 for a salary which includes room and board. There is no way that you can afford anything remotely like that land. I know you want to impress me but you do not have to fabricate stories, hell that's a fantasy.

Dion helped Clarence to sit down so that they could talk. My dear sweet Clarence, I did purchase the land next-door to the Rosenburg's is titled under a shell company that I own with the immediate benefactors being Dion and Clarence Willis Williams and descendants. A no one can ever take it away from our family. The front section and I mean a small front section will be reserved for personal use by our family, there are plans already drawn up for the residual parcel of property.

Clarence leaned back and tilted his head, to afford that kind of property would mean you would have to be rich but that's a joke. Dion you are joking?

No, I'm telling you the truth I came out here to clear my mind and get my personal affairs in order. I contacted an old family friend and in exchange for his silence I agreed to work on the construction crew with Robbie and his son Tim. I have enjoyed my time working under the radar. And for me that's quite an accomplishment, if it was known that there would be reporters and people everywhere wanting something from me. It drives me nuts but it's just who I am.

Dion, might I ask you exactly who you are? I feel that you have been a little aloof with some of your answers?

Okay Clarence I'm glad you're sitting down, because you now get to hear the whole truth. My name is Dion Edward Williams do you know who I am?

Some guy that works for Mr. Robbie under the construction department?

You could say that right now; but who I really known as is DE Williams of Williams Communications Corporation. I was born into the position of ownership something that I never asked for, I disappear from time to time just to escape the pressures of the board rooms and corporate world. My family has been after me to settle down and start a family until I met you that was the last thing on my mind. As far as they know right now, I'm off world tending some major conference in another sector.

I was raised by my grandparents because my parents died in an accident off world. It's just me now along with the board that have control of the company. I am the CEO CFO and COO of WCC. And I was not stretching the truth or lying to you when said that I had secured the property for our future. We can keep as much is you would like for our personal use but the rest of it, we're going to use to make credits for our family.

May I ask you how much land are we talking about?

That's simple Clarence I purchased 250,000 acres. It's small by some aspects but quite vast for others. I know that if I develop it the way I would like to there would be 1000 acres set aside and every half acre lot would have a new home on it so that workers could lease them for a nominal fee while they are employed by the company that we will start for our family. I will not withhold anything from you as my partner in life you have everything that I have.

Clarence set on the bed listening to Dion going on and he just was having a hard time wrapping himself around this news of who Dion really was. I need to talk to my father, correction we need to talk to him. I don't know what to believe, it seems unreal but you also are very confident in your answers so it must be the truth.

Dion picked up his communicator and turned it on speaker then dialed Zach's number.

Good afternoon Dion how can I help you, I thought you were busy answered Zach.

Zach I've got you on speaker phone and I need you to tell Clarence what I told you never to divulge to anyone. Just let you know he's the one, I need to go speak to his father to request his hand in joining but I'm letting you know I found my forever.

Well congratulations Dion, Clarence is a very levelheaded young Genman and the two of you will do good together. Now Clarence everything that Dion has told you is the absolute truth, I haven't even told the people here who he really is and it wasn't anyone's business. Sometimes people feel like they need to escape and that's what Dion was feeling when he came here to spend a few months. I hope this clears up every question that you have concerning of the young man that is sitting beside you.

Thank you very much Mr. Zach, I know that it is truth because it comes from you. You took two lost souls in and then found us a forever home. Once again you have helped me in my life by making Dion and myself cross paths, I have already said yes but we still have to get permission from father. Clarence looked at Dion, so you did all of this for us. You are really in love with me?

Dion leaned in and kissed Clarence. Yes, I love you and I wish to be joined with you forever. Dion reached into his pocket and removed a little box and opened it, he presented it to Clarence as a token of his commitment.

Clarence almost passed out when he saw the rings, when did you do these?

I have my ways now let's see if it fits, Dion placed the crystal encrusted Zigon band up on Clarence's finger that signified he was joined with another. Clarence took the other ring and placed it up on Dion's joining finger signifying to all that he was with another.

I guess there's just one thing else we need to do then Clarence, we need to go see your father and your family to make it official. Clarence smiled and nodded his head in agreement.

Dion this time of the day transports are very ill regular in their times so we might be waiting a while.

Ye have very little faith, I've secured a speeder for us to use until I have one delivered by a friend from the city. You see I keep all of my bases covered and very quiet.

Titus and Sampson were going through their new place and looking at everything as the workmen delivered the first load of furnishings. Titus could not believe he was so lucky, someone that loved him and the child that he was carrying, it was unbelievable. A place that they could call their own, yes it came with responsibilities and a job he couldn't believe that they were blessed so much, the elders were truly smiling down upon them. Sampson leaned over and kissed Titus and told him how much he loved him and their new home.

Elvin looked at Tony and cleared his throat, young man if you intend to be with my grandson, you realize that you need to be processed into the databanks for DNA at the Z1. It's just a simple blood test and they run it through to see if there are any exceptions and it will also make it known if you have any siblings or parents that are registered in the system. No one will force anything upon you if it does come back that you are related to someone it will only say known relations in your file, it is up to you to make yourself known to them.

They have that ability here inquired Tony? I'm not sure that I would want to find my parents because of the way I was raised, but if they produced other children and they were cast out, that I would like to know.

Adam smiled and patted the young man on his shoulder I can help you with that, give it a couple of days when Clarence has to go in for his monthly checkup we can go as a family then. I'm sure that a couple more need to go have a checkup also, Andy is a little plump for his time so we need to find out the truth.

Elvin's communicator trilled he noticed it was Clarence's number ringing through. Hello son is everything okay?

Father is it okay for Dion and Myself to come out to the farm for a quick visit, he wishes to talk to you after we stop to look at something he is interested in.

That would be fine son, we are having a meal in a little while and the two of you are welcome to attend also.

Thanks father we would be delighted to attend. Clarence hung up.

Elvin called out to Lyle, set two more places at the table.

Angelia called Mr. Zach at the Z-1, the GBI had an issue with a ship at the spaceport and they needed his help with the crew members.

Okay Angela how can I help the GBI with a ship?

It's not exactly the ship that is the issue, it's the crew and what they went through before they arrived. And you would have any and all possible answers covered to the best of anyone on the planet. The ship's captain is eager to meet you and someone else on the ship is also very inquisitive about our planet. The ship has been lost for over 150 years in the vacuums of space.

Now you are piquing my interest here Angela. How many is the complement crew?

Original crew of 100+ an additional one that was added along the way. They came out of the wormhole next to the jump gate and they are here.

Okay we can do a staging area at the great gathering Hall on the Z1. I'll alert everyone here that we have new arrivals to be on our best behaviors and we shall welcome them.

I'll let you know that they are all human with the exception of the additional one Mr. Zach, and they left Earth headed to a colony on Mars one but they were knocked off course after striking a Rogue asteroid and drifted in cryogenics for the entire time until nine years ago.

What happened nine years ago Angela?

That Mr. Zach I wish to discuss with you in person along with the captain of the ship's name is Clifton Roberts and he will be accompanied by someone known as #234 who has been renamed Jo.

Okay bring them out, when shall we expect you?

Within the hour Sir, I'm sorry but we went through the dead zone and you know communications are spotty there at best. The upper management and government did not want any of this publicly broadcast before they arrived. Everyone on the jump gate and spaceport were on a need-to-know basis when they arrived.

Okay Angela you know where the great hall is, just proceed there. Zach contacted everyone at the Z1 by a public address communications alert.

Ben walked into the office and looked at Zach. How many are arriving and what do we know?

Little to none it's been spotty at best, it is a ship's crew plus additional member they have been missing for 150 years, until nine years ago something happened. Angela offered not much of an explanation but said that they needed to come here.

So, we have no knowledge of what happened?

They were headed to Mars 2 and the ship was struck by an asteroid and sent off course floating in the oblivion somewhere. It came through a wormhole near the jump gate leading to the spaceport. I know nothing else.

Tim came walking in with his tablet followed closely by Luther. Father the name of the ship that was lost with that, complement of crew was named the Lightstar, piloted by one captain Clifton Roberts age 35. Says he was single and pick for the assignment because of his tenacity and rigorous ability to follow protocol with out exception. All members of the crew were 18 to 35 and single. They were headed to Mars 2 than to a research planetoid in the Astra Vega system. They went through a meteorite shower and were never heard from again. All members of the crew and the ship were considered lost.

Well, I guess they were not lost, but we have no idea of their condition or mental status. I'm bringing the medical crew out in case anyone needs anything.

I'm looking at their specialties and other abilities warranted by the crew. We have medical officers, engineers and communications along with construction specialties. It seems that they were being dispatched to build deep space communications on a planetoid along with an outpost when they were lost.

Ben walked up beside Zach; their loss is our gain. I imagine there are a lot of things that they will find odd and even down out right strange because of the technology that has amassed during their disappearance. And I don't need to tell you that we are going to be very damn strange to them. That they haven't ever seen a Genman before so that something else we will need to explain to them in full detail no doubt.

After a flurry of activity, the Z1 was ready to welcome the new arrivals from the Lightstar.

Four transits arrived at the Z1 all of them have blacked out windows so that nothing can be seen from the inside. Zach and Ben along with Tim and Luther walked up to the first unit as the door opened.

Angela departed the unit and smiled at Zach. Mr. Zach, I have very good news and a lot of anxious people here on the transports. There is a lot to be learned by all, I would like for you to meet Capt. Roberts and Jo. He wishes to speak first before his crew departs the transports. And I don't mind telling you they have been through hell and survived.

Off stepped a very nice-looking man 6 foot three with a slight dusting of gray at his temples, fully dressed in his military attire he held his hand out to Zach. Capt. Clifton Roberts of the UFEA Lightstar Sir I am glad to meet your acquaintance.

My name is Zachary Spinelli I along with my mate Ben run this humble ranch known as the Z1. We welcome all individuals from every walk of life. You can call me Zach; these are two of our sons Tim and Luther they help run the day-to-day operations.

Clifton smiled and held his hand backwards toward the transit. I would like to introduce someone else to you he is Jo and he is with me. He wouldn't stay behind on the planetoid Bellsauris where he was raised and I met him. He decided to hide away when we left. If you don't want his kind then we don't need to be here?

A young male of about 28 stepped off of the transport and without a doubt you could tell that he was in an early-stage condition.

Jo was on the planetoid that we had to land on after we lost all propulsion systems. His kind is different from humans, we learned how to get along and work side-by-side with them. It took a little longer to get the ship repaired thanks to the inhabitants than we had originally planned but the trade-off for the planetoid inhabitants was beneficial to both.

Ben stepped forward and shook Clifton's hand and introduced himself.

Clifton looked inquisitively at Ben; this can't be right there are no others like the individuals on Bellsauris. They said they were a break away from a slave planet.

I am a descendent of the same I do believe if you're referring to the Genman. My ancestors were in the original great migration when a ship was caught in an ionic storm and crashed here. We are plenty in numbers thanks to the generosity of some humans. Even here we are not always welcomed but on the Z1 thanks to my Zach we are all family.

Jo walked up to Ben and smelled. A pureblood here on this planet also?

Afraid so, now let's talk about that little one you're carrying, is he responsible for this as Ben pointed at the captain?

It is my first carry; I chose the captain because of his genetics and the fact that he needed offspring to carry forth his lineage. Please do not think less of him.

Ben chuckled; you are among others like yourselves. Now I do believe a proper meeting needs to take place, your crew is welcome to the great Hall. A meal has been set up for all of you and arrangements are being made for your accommodations. Once everything is settled everyone is welcome to walk around and make themselves at home.

My men have been through a lot, it's gonna take considerable time for them to acclimate themselves after leaving everything behind. We made a deal with the leaders of Bellsauris and it didn't settle with everyone towards the end. Some of our crew members are not handling it as well as they thought they could.

We have the best medical staff here; we all have open ears and we understand more than you think replied Ben.

Jo walked over towards Tim and Luther and smelled them. You are of mixed bloods; you mean it is allowed here on this world?

Luther smiled, yes, it is and it does happen all over this world. My children all seven of them are proud reminders of my ability to bring forth life.

Tim looked at Jo, I have my own sorted past so don't judge me. I am certainly no one to judge anyone else my mate tells me that as he cares for our sons.

Jo walked back to Clifton and placed his arm around his waist standing beside him.

Shall we welcome the rest of your crew members and walk into the great Hall so that a meal can be enjoyed by those who have arrived inquired Ben.

Angela looked startled for a second; oh, I'm sorry I was just listening to the stories so yes let me tell the rest of the members to disembark the shuttles.

She walked back toward the shuttle and stepped up and asked everyone to disembark the unit so that they could enter the great Hall and have a decent meal courtesy of the Z1 and the Spinelli's.

Capt. Roberts went to the other three shuttles and notified everyone that they could let down their guards and follow everyone else. They were at their new home, no one would ever have to leave anywhere again.

The crew all dressed in their uniforms slowly began to step off of the shuttles looking around. Several pointed out the fact that there were three moons in the distance along with a very bright sun.

A very fancy speeder pulled up and Ed and Carter Hawthorne got out of the unit. All eyes were upon Carter because he was dressed impeccably. The men noticed that he was different even in the way he walked, Carter had to make an entrance no matter what it was all about.

Ed walked around and took his mate's hand and they walked over to where the captain was and they introduced themselves.

Carter the moment to step away and walked over to where the crew members were. I would like to introduce myself to everyone, my name is Carter Hawthorne along with my husband Ed we own the Hawthorne ranch next door. We have dormitory style accommodations that will be at your disposal until you get settled here on the Z1 in housing. You will no doubt find it different here but we do not discriminate on anyone, we welcome all. Once you get use to the life here if you wish to visit the city complex you will find life there considerably different. They do not always accept my kind so my husband and I decided to settle here outside of the Township next door to the Z1 who we partnered with. During the great Hall you will find yourself served by others who are like me if you have issues keep them to yourself because everyone is here to accommodate you. I have read the chapters of old earth history and the way that your ship disappeared. I am so glad to see that there was no loss of life that everyone is still with us. My friends Zach and Ben Spinelli run the Z1, here you will find employment along with housing, a university for education and the Museum of the perils of our journey to this planet.

One gentleman walked up and looked at Carter. Are you one of the special ones that are made different. I don't mean to be rude but where we came from, they were the only inhabitants.

I am a what is known here as a Genman, our ancestors were genetically created by the Goran race. DNA and cells from an unknown humanoid race and Goran were combined to create a worker drone. We are full of surprises.

My name is Al and the planet that we were on, it had special beings there also they had escaped in a ship and went to an uncharted planetoid where they created their society. We did things that we're not proud of but it was to get our ship running so that we could continue on with our journey. We all left loved ones behind but that was the bargain that had been made, Jo was the only one that had the brains to follow the one that he was in love with, please don't hold it against the captain or Jo.

How I believe that you will find everything that you need here what is and everybody come on into the great Hall, I imagine everyone could use a good meal.

After space rations, I will eat just about anything commented Al.

Everyone made their way into the great Hall; the servers were just as curious about the new arrivals as they were them.

Capt. Roberts was looking around and asked Zach exactly how many people lived on the Z1?

Well for that I would need to ask Luther about the current censes numbers. So, Luther how many here now?

Father we are nearing 23,000 total residents here on the Z1. But that doesn't include the satellite ranches and farms that we have under our umbrella of protection. There are an additional 74 farms or ranches but we are the main living quarters Responded Luther.

Everyone was being served and at the main table Zach invited everyone to have a seat and partake in the meal.

Angela looked at Zach. I'm sorry Mr. Zach but I need to skip this one I have little ones at the house that need my attention.

And how are the boys doing are they settling in?

Yes, they there doing just fine, but two is the limit right now. Luckily their big brother is watching them, give him a good taste before he starts raising his own.

Clifton is just fine with me because I am finished with space. With the family on the way I want to see my children grow up.

What happened I've got some brief detail about the ship and everything but where did you end up at, I understand for nine years?

We developed a massive leak in the propulsion system and we were going down. We stopped at a nearby planetoid that looked like it could sustain life because of the atmosphere. Had no idea that it was already inhabited by a humanoid race. They were special and we found out just how special they were. The one that was the leader of the group was willing to make a deal. There were 100 of us in a thousand of them so they could have overpowered us at any time and done anything that they wanted to. But they were only concerned in surviving.

He never had a name it was just 174, he found out about our genetic structures versus theirs and discovered that we were compatible. They were dying, they could no longer reproduce because of a genetic issue might as well say it was a stop sign. Once everyone had produced an offspring you had to watch out because of no interbreeding was allowed, the offspring was not viable and would be expelled. This brought in a whole line of troubles.

Ben leaned over and smiled, we had the same genetic block in our makeup, that was set up in the original genetic manipulation by the Goran race so that we could not expand beyond what was capable of the planet. We live long so we can still be of use as a workforce.

Okay I understand it's universal them remarked Clifton, how do y'all avoid the trauma?

Our doctors here have the DNA makeup of everyone in the system when someone arrives here and wishes to use the program to conceive a child, they are cross matched and given suitable choices if they do not have someone in mind already. We encourage family units but some of the Genman here do not wish to be tied down to a single mate. We have pureblood couples and we have mixed couples that produce hybrid children. We don't discriminate on anyone.

So, what exactly took place inquired Tim with your crew and these others?

Let's just say we bargain with ourselves.

Tim looked at him oddly.

We took on 10 of the others each and we had reproductive copulation with them, they conceived a child, we did this for three consecutive birthing cycles and our debt was paid. Some of the men had grown attached to their concubines and really didn't want to leave but it was predetermined that we had to leave everything behind. Jo was the only exception because he stowed away, he did leave three children in the custody and care of others. He recorded a visi-log is a way that his offspring could remember him. It was hard to leave my own blood behind but it's what we signed up for. We all knew that we could not stay in the leadership did not wish us to stay. With the diversity in the bloodlines, they could live for several centuries before they would need new DNA once again.

Carter looked at Clifton, that was very hard on your crew and you I imagine. If someone told me that I would have to leave Ed behind they would have a fight on their hands that they would not survive. I understand that there was a collective bargaining and that's what was decided by that world's government, but that will never happen to you here.

Zach spoke to Clifton, I'm sure there's a lot of technology here that you will no doubt find totally alien to you, but give us a chance and you will understand a lot. We have a lot of jobs that are available here on the Z1 as well as the Hawthorne ranch. Being that you came in the way that you did, there are some of the aerospace positions that will not be obtainable by you or your crew. We can get into that when you get settled, we are like other places. We settled here and we are very protective of what we've got. There are certain members of the Genman society that are very interested in getting what was lost, back into their possession.

OH yes, The Royals we heard everything about them, but let them set foot here and we will fight side-by-side with the inhabitants of this community and of this planet responded Clifton.

That's enough shop talk guys announced Ben, it's time to eat and enjoy ourselves.

Well dad has spoken so I believe it's time to shut down the conversations father remarked Tim.

Zach smiled; I do believe your right son, let's enjoy our meal.

There were more than enough servers to help out with the new arrivals dining needs. It seems that a lot of the single Genmen on the ranch were shopping early for a mate and these humans fit the bill as far as they were concerned. They had no problem making conversation with the flight crew and letting it be known to all that they were available to be chosen one say settled.

Carter looked at Zach, I swear we just brought 100 pieces of prime steak out here in the locals are hungry for a taste.

Zach chuckled, now Carter you know it's only first nature for a Genman to check out prospects when new bloodlines arrive. Tell me Capt. Roberts do you think that your men are ready for cohabitation just yet or should they wait a couple weeks and get to know the lay of the land?

I cautioned them once they arrived that we need to adjust to our surroundings, I'm sure that there several that are going to jump the gun and it'll cause some issues but it's nothing that cannot be taken care of. Excuse me just a second, Clifton stood up and whistled very loudly the entire crowd quietened down. Men we're here on our best behavior even though there are plenty of individuals here that are available remember what was discussed earlier, we will not partake in any cohabitation's until we have learned the proper etiquette. Al that means you, I can see you drooling over one right now but everyone is off limits. I don't care if he has the perfect smell as I know you remember what we went through last time.

Yes Capt. I remember and I will refrain, look but don't touch, speak but do not take is our motto. And might I say the meal is delicious our thanks to our benefactors and hosts here at the Z1. Men be on your best behavior or there will be hell to pay. Al nodded his head and took a seat.

Everyone began to talk and conversate once again. I do hope that that was satisfactory for everyone announced Clifton. I know we have already been examined but they said once we arrived at our destination we would have to submit to physical exams and samples of blood and other bodily fluids would need to be taken by medical staff at the location. I do believe the first thing in the morning would be the best time. Everyone is ready to go out and explore but it is only going to be done as a group. We can always split into subgroups according to employment availability?

That's tomorrow replied Ben, tonight let's just get to know each other. I know a good night sleep will do everyone a lot of good, a warm meal, a soft bed and a little bit of privacy means a lot.

The 4 dormitories have been made ready and the climate control systems set for the average human requirements. Genman tend to keep their quarters a lot colder than humans here, it's one of the many fights that Ed and I have all the time and I don't mind saying but I win them.

I'm sure that we will be just fine Sir replied Clifton.

My name is Carter please address me as Carter it is not Sir, but from what I have read that it was a compliment and out of respect that you address me as Sir.

Yes, it was Carter and there was no disrespect at all. Getting out of the military mode and back into civilian decorum will take a little bit. On the planetoid it was always out of sorts, if we looked at one them sternly, they would freak out. It took us a while to get adjusted to their ways. I don't suspect it will be any different here.

Madison came looking for Mr. Zach and Ben in the great Hall. He didn't want to disturb him but Benjamin was having some issues, his time was nearing and he was not doing all that well. Not meaning to disturb you Sirs but Benjamin is not doing well and he refuses to go to the clinic. It's different this time and he's in a lot of distress with this little one.

Zach stay here with our guest and I will go with Madison, it seems I have a son that needs his ass set straight before he screws up announced Ben.

Ben, do you need me to come with you inquired Carter?

It could not hurt Carter; you know Benjamin he is stubborn as all get out. He didn't plan on this pregnancy but some things happen just because they do. Madison let's go check on him, I swear I'm about half a jump off at him already for the way he's been acting this entire pregnancy.

Ben's son is expecting and he's been difficult the entire time. Poor Madison doesn't know what to do from one minute to the next minute. Everything is all fine and dandy then suddenly everything is totally screwed to the Max and Benjamin is having a meltdown.

Hormones do that to Genmen as we found out, they either want to fuck like a mink or don't touch you me ever again and I can't stand you near me. I understand I am hoping that it's better for Jo this time, we didn't plan on anything and it happened. We were very careful during the cycle but he ended up carrying anyhow.

Humans and Genmen can reproduce at any time, but Genmen on Genmen can only reproduce during the cycles. We found that out a long time ago here on Solaris 10. But nature will find a way regardless.

So that's why we had some irregular birthing, we never worked that out in our heads. Their leader was all about the quota that we had to meet and of course we had to have a lot of help restoring the drives and everything on the transport. Tim answered up, it could be the wormhole was blown off of target when the original destination was destroyed by a meteor storm eons ago. I would say it was the same one that took out your ship originally in caused you to be blown off course. I'm not an exact scientist but it does throw a new light on the subject.

Zach you have one smart son right there, I doubt that the other ones a slouch either because it seems that they have good genetics with you and Ben as parents.

Tim smiled big as did Luther. He replied, we would be nothing without our parents who raised as well. Neither one of us was an easy child by no means, we both had our issues growing up.

Luther agreed, when I was born it was illegal for humans and Genmen to mate but that didn't stop our parents. That was before the famine and the retro style viruses that wiped out a large chunk of the population. Man-made generated bacterized versions like these so-called covi-2 were only the start. Another one wiped out entire races, it targeted individuals with certain genetic coding. Countries when into biohazard warfare against each other, nuclear options were the least of our worry. When they chose your crew did you not think it was a little funny that certain individuals were not on board your ship?

Well, it was explained that the planetoid that we were going to have certain chemical compound makeups that some could not survive so they were deleted from the roster and replaced with others with the same specialties.

I think that's a wonderful idea Tim, and you are the person to lead the tour. Your dad and I will also attend along with Ed and Carter. It is something that everyone that lives on the planet should experience but unfortunately due to prejudice some never will.

Jo, I can tell you than I can show you. For many years I was a collector of space junk as people thought but what I was really doing was salvaging pieces of the original ship. Computers, data logs and interior sections of the transport that crashed here on the planet. When I had enough, I began to work with others and assemble it in sections re-creating the ship. In the tour you will actually walk through sections of the ship that had been put back together so that you can get a sense of what it was like. There are video monitors and display screens of the original ship that have recordings being broadcast through them. Some of the images might be disturbing to weak stomachs, but they are all true. Some images are barbaric and the reason I included them is so that none of this will ever happen again. There is a pod style ride that brings you through the process of gestation of a Genman, shortly after conception up and to the point of birth. We left out nothing to make it an accurate account.

Jo grabbed a hold of Clifton's hand; I want to see this for myself. I do believe all of the men need to be allowed to view everything, if we are to be here forever because of fate, they need to know what they are dealing with.

No one is still alive that we knew, do you realize that we were in that conduit wormhole for six months. This now will be our home so the men need to realize is when they are told.

One thing my name is Frankston it's not Sir, we are going to do something here that will affect both of us so we need to know each other. What is your life here on the ranch?

It is very easy here, I came here shortly before transition and started to work in the warehouse area. I do inventory so that we never run out of items to build with.

What do the items build?

Most of the items that I am over are used in daily construction of pod homes. We stay quite busy and use a lot of products; I must order constantly so that the crews have the items that they need to complete their task. I get a hold of production and tell them exactly how many items I need in each category and when they are needed for the construction of a new pod. It is a very taxing job because of all of the mathematics that are involved.

How did you learn this might I ask?

As a youngster we were sent to school, I finished my education here at the Z1 and I am attending University here. Mr. Zach and Mr. Ben believe that someone can never learn too much. This way they help everyone, in exchange for my labor I get credits to use for personal reasons, a house to live in with food commodities that I can draw up on along with clothing allotment. If there is something special that I wish to have, say from the Township I simply use my credits.

Why me, Dori why did you choose me out of all of the other men that were in the room?

That is simple, when you touched my hand with yours, I reacted. I vented on myself and I knew that I was destined to be with the tall blonde man that smiled at me. You have a job and you completed your job before you left, it is quite common that some farms make Genman produce a number of offsprings before they are allowed to leave so that the workforce can be maintained. The Spinelli's and Hawthorns along with the help of the GBI seek close these kinds of operations and remove the Genman and relocate them to new areas so that they enjoy freedom.

I'm very glad that you ended up here on the Z1 Dori maybe it was fate's working on our behalf. Frankston leaned over and gently planted a kiss upon Dori's lips.

Dori stood up and walked over to the bed where he slipped off his robe and laid down face first over the edge of the bed putting his vent on full display for Frankston.
