The Witchdoctor's Son Chapter 3
Chapter 3- The Coven
“If the white witches are correct...the boy must die,”. Amelie Ann Dauphine from the French Quarter coven states.
Salazar pushes his head back. His skin was pale and his hair this thick brown. His white robes remained spectacularly polished representing the pure white of his coven. And that’s when he sees the Purple witches. His rivals.
There were several leaders of the Purple Covens here. Master Koli Ugi of the West Africans Coven was also there dressed in her purple with a necklace of bones dangling on her naked chest, titties exposed to the world as she clings onto her purple patterned African print. The Purple Witches of the were growing some of the most powerful covens in history so they felt like they had the audacity to speak even over the Headmistress. They were almost as powerful as the Black witches now and soon they’d be challenging the White witches for power and influence. No one was concerned about the red witches. Angelica Atwood was just a figurehead. He’d felt sorry for her. Angelica Atwood had been the Headmistress of the witch tower for quite some time and had little to no respect.
“If we kill him, we kill a member of the Moreen,” Angelica responds, “That can’t happen. Perhaps the premonition was a mistake…”
Salazar shakes his head, “My coven saw it as well. The Salem coven doesn’t make mistakes.”
They’d been in the room for hours talking about this boy, Gene Bah. He was more trouble then he was worth.
“Every coven makes mistakes,” Loriana Bluebeard responds from one of the black witch covens. Her aura was full of complicated energy.
“Not ours…” Brothers responds.
People didn’t understand what the coven was. Not like Salazar Brothers of the famous line of White Witch Doctors. They were born out of Salem and many times they were called that. The Salem coven.
A coven was a family. More family then your own bloodlines. Several magical families nearby would get together and they would form a new generation of a coven. The active coven pertained to the representatives of the coven who performed the most magic. Of course, people got old. Of course, the drastic spells that you did when you were young didn’t work the same as you got old. But you were still a part of the coven. You were still part of the family. That’s what made them strong. That’s what he was teaching his the up and coming coven. The new ones who managed to win every single time.
Angelica remains strong, “We can’t kill him. He is a part of my coven. He has every right to be here.”
Salazar gets up. Angelica’s time was coming undone. It was time someone replaced her. Time someone took up the mantle.
Salazar shakes his head, “Angelica this premonition is serious. He could be a threat to the witch race. He could be a threat to Eden.”
“Not him,” a voice interrupts.
The door had opened in the room. Someone had walked in.
Salazar recognized her. Kitty Kat Bah. A seductress from the house of Bah and the Moreen Coven. She wasn’t respected by any of the covens. This was a room that had the great leaders of our time but Kitty Kat, the only remaining member of the Bah family was known more for her sexual rendezvous then for her magic.
“What are YOU doing here?” Angelica asks the person, “This is a meeting for leaders…”
Kitty Kat has the nerve to speak causing some issues amongst the leaders, “I know that the prophecy isn’t about Gene. Genesis had a daughter. Gene’s twin sister. He never mentioned her.”
“How’d you know this?”
“Because I raised him.”
This was interesting. Salazar crosses his arms and he can feel an aura off her.
“You hid his existence.”
“Not on purpose. It was because of the hide him from his twin. He is the other side of the moon.”
The phrase “the other side of the moon” wouldn’t mean much to many people but it meant something to Salazar and the older witches. They’d known what the term meant and all of a sudden things became very clear what was happening.
“What if you're wrong?” Bluebeard asks.
“She’s not,” Angelica states staring at Salazar of all people, “He knows it. Don’t you Salazar Brothers? Gene Bah is on the right side of the moon…”
Salazar sighs, “We can’t know for sure. He could be dangerous.”
“We watch him,” Angelica states, “We keep him close. If he is the right twin we can harness that power. “
“Power to whose end?” I ask, “Quite interesting that the weakest coven all of a sudden finds a twin.”
He’d never said it before. They hadn’t had to. Over the years everyone knew what the once-great Moreen coven had become. But saying it was the first time someone called Angelica Atwood out on her shit. It was the first time someone had the balls to say that she and her coven had become weak.
“What? You afraid our coven might rise up again?”
The others look at Salazar Brothers. He was the top coven. For three years they’d one the Witch trials showing their magical dominance over the other witches. And now Angelica had the balls to say that his coven was afraid.
“Teach your little witch doctor as you like,” Salazar says to Angelica, “No one threatens the Salem Coven...”
Angelica was satisfied and walks out of the door but Salazar just watched. The disrespect had been clear and the overstepping had become even more clear.
“What are you thinking, Brothers?” Bluebeard asks him, “You can’t be OK with this boy?”
The time of the Red Witches was over.
"What are YOU doing here?" Angelica asks the person, “This is a meeting for leaders…”
“I know that the prophecy isn’t about Gene. Genesis had a daughter. Gene’s twin sister. He never mentioned her.”
The voice sounded so familiar. So fucking familiar. It couldn’t be...
“How d you know this?” Angelica asks the person who interrupted the meeting.
“Because I raised him.”
Salazar Brothers was concerned he was the new legend. He was the great witch and the one to fear. Things had changed.
“Perhaps it’s time my coven teaches the Moreen Coven a lesson. One they’ll never forget.”
~
My mind is going crazy with all the things that I’ve learned at the meeting. When I pull back I see that boy with the smirk still standing there. I catch him staring at my ass. He doesn’t even try to hide it when so catch him. He just smiles as though amused. This time his smirk was a bit wider.
“What’d they say, newbie?” Notch asks me.
“My name is not newbie. It’s Gene.”
“Yeah I know but you’re a newbie. Who would I be if I didn’t haze you a little bit? So c’mon what were they discussing in that room?”
“Nothing…”
I don’t trust him. It’s as simple as that. I think he knows it too. It’s pointless lying because he doesn’t believe me.
He raises an eyebrow at me, “Damn that’s all I get? I could get in trouble because of you. I pulled out all the stops to get you here and you wanna keep all the dirt to yourself.”
Something told me that getting in trouble wasn’t something that was rare for Notch. I knew he was trouble when I’d seen him navigating through these halls like some secret agent of chaos. He wasn’t smooth enough though…
“You didn’t help me because you wanted dirt,” I muse.
“Then why’d I help you?” He asks.
“You helped me because I’ll allow you to walk me back…”
He grunts. His face flushed a little red at that moment. I don’t think he’s expecting me to have as much bite as I do.
“Allow me?”
“Yeah….”
He licks his lips. After licking it he bites the lower on. It’s the first time Notch realizes that even though he was trouble and that I was a problem.
~
Notch was striking in his own way. It might have been his height that was the most attractive thing about Notch. He had that tall swimmer’s body and a part of me wondered if I could drown in it. If I would allow myself to see how deep the waters of Notch got. And as he walks...I must admit I was intrigued.
He has confidence with him as he leads me through the hallways in a way that makes me think it’s possible he’s trying to impress me. And I had to admit. I was impressed. This place was like a maze. The twisted hallways were dark, dreary, and almost seemed to have shadows all over them. It felt like the walls were alive.
“How big is this place?” I ask him.
“Huge. Dozens of covens reside in them. Most of them are dormant though, focusing on learning instead of actually using their abilities. The active coven is different.”
“The active coven?”
“The representatives of the coven. I am in the active coven. Then there is my girlfriend, Aviva.”
A straight boy. I’m not surprised. I am surprised that he would be interested in a girl like Aviva though.
“You date her?” I ask, shocked.
He laughs. The kind of laugh of knowing exactly what kind of girl he was with.
“Aviva?” He asks, “Yeah…she’s a little eccentric and all about energy. Maybe she’s even a little bit materialistic.”
“She’s a hippie witch,” I tell him.
They were definitely an odd couple. The bad boy with the hippie witch.
“She’s not Circe at least. Circe can be a little intimidating…”
“Nothing intimidates me…” I assure him.
He laughs, “Something intimidates everyone. This isn’t the human world, newbie. There are things in these walls that will make you lose sleep at night…”
Perhaps I was being a bit brave by saying nothing intimidated me. Maybe the truth was I didn’t want to feel that feeling. I try not to show it on my face but it’s hard. The halls were dark, dreary, and had a coldness to them. Exactly the kind of place I used to play in when I was a kid. Exactly the kind of place I would not let my kids play in. The whole place was a tetanus death trap. Cool, though.
“I’m sure if I can’t sleep in my bed I’ll find another one to crawl into. How big is yours...”
His eyes get a little wide as though realizing I may have been flirting. It felt good to take back a little bit of my power. What little I could control. Here I was in this frightening place at the mercy of strangers. The least I can do is make a boy squirm.
He's enjoying this conversation. I can tell because he breaks out in a small laugh, “Oh really? You sound really confident for a guy who might not even be allowed to stay.”
“You think they’ll send me back.”
I remembered the conversation in the room. It sounded like they would let me stay but clearly, this boy knew something I don’t know.
“My dad Mickson Boss says Genesis Bah dabbled in some dark magic. Said that half of Eden would want him dead if he showed back up. I wonder how they’d feel about his son.”
He was right. There was something that irritated me. The idea that my father...whoever he was… had burned so many bridges that he would take away the opportunity for me to learn about who I was and what I was.
There was nothing I wanted more in this world. And there was no way I was going back to Moreen Island now.
“A shame. I would have loved to see how...big…things get around here.”
I stare down. Towards his crotch. It’s not a far way down. Notch is that tall. When I say that he stops walking. It stops him dead in his tracks.
“Oh trust me. Everything...around here...is big,” Notch responds.
He ends up looming over me. He’s so tall that he casts a shadow over me. We remain for a moment, Notch Boss looking at me as though trying to crack the mystery of who the son of Genesis Bah was. That is why he tricked Blanco. That was why he was here now. And something tells me he wanted to know more.
My heart begins to pound. I stood there, feeling a desire run from my heart to my chest, and down toward my inner thighs.
His finger touched my neck, and fingers my wavy hair moving it away nearly gave me the chills. His hands went from the sides of my head and down to my neck, out to my shoulders and down to my hands. He grabbed my hands gently yet firm, put them in front of me, and paused. I felt safe, he spoke no words. My heart is about to beat out of my chest and I close my eyes and take a deep breath out.
He kisses my shoulder, and runs his lips on my skin towards my ear, but doesn't quite make it that far. I tilt my head and after his deep breath out he bites me gently. It doesn't hurt, it only makes me want more.
“Damn…” he mutters underneath his breath, “Your lips feel just how soft as I imagined. I want more…”
“Then you better make sure I stay,” I respond.
“I’ll put a word in with the Headmistress. The truth is this coven needs a Gene Bah…”
Was it the coven who needed me? Or was it him? He hadn’t let go of his stare and he hadn’t let go of my body. He just stares at every part of me as though wondering somehow if I’m real. His hands worship me in those last few seconds. But just as I consider teasing him a bit more I notice something.
“Your nose…” I point out…
He rubs his nose at that moment seeing the blood and then he turns and down the hallway as though expecting we weren’t alone. And we weren’t.
Blanco Ferris is standing there, statuesque and grand. For some reason, he is pinching at his own nose hard for some reason. He does it so hard it draws blood. It’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. It makes me think this man is trying to hurt HIMSELF.
“Blood magic…” Notch seems to recognize what Blanco is doing, “You are using blood magic on me, bro?”
Notch seems highly offended by this. It seems as though Blanco is hurting himself or almost...sacrificing himself to do something to Notch! He clearly wants revenge for being tricked. It’s very clear the compromising situation he’d caught Notch and me in. His body perfectly is sculpted in those tight shorts as though he is doing some sort of athletic shoot. Is face had this toned, Herculean expression to it that makes Notch
That’s when I see Notch Boss hit the floor. His body begins to shake violently as though having some sort of seizure! I drop to my knees shocked and concerned about him. My heart is racing.
“Notch. Notch!”
He has fainted. Blanco doesn’t say a word. He figured out Notch had tricked him and he didn’t look happy about it.
He doesn’t have to. It was magic. Real magic. I could see Blanco bleeding from his nose as well. He had done this to Notch somehow. Somehow he had caused this. Notch passes out completely. And at that moment when he walks over and scoops Notch up with so much strength that you would have never thought Notch was as big as he was. He throws Notch over his shoulder, manhandling him in a way that made my nipples hard.
“You going to cause me more trouble, Bah?” Blanco asks, “Or will you just walk back to the room I was supposed to keep you in?”
Fuck the room. What just happened was the coolest shit I’d ever seen. Seeing this magic in real life made the shit I was doing to those idiots on Moreen Island seem like child’s play.
“What is blood magic?” I ask, “Can you...can you Show me?”
He seems annoyed looking at me as though I was the most suspicious thing on Earth.
“Why would I do that?”
I’m not thinking at that moment. It doesn’t occur to me right away that this man had turned me down before. Because it was my habit to go for seduction. That was what I knew. That was what was natural for me. So I wrap my arms around his waist. I touch his abdomen. I press myself up against his chest.
It may have been his warm breath up against my neck or his focused stare that makes me feel defenseless that causes me to climb my fingers up against his muscular neck. I feel the solidness of his chin. I could kiss him. I could kiss those lips of his if he wanted me.
“You are under my control, you are under my control…”. I chant, doing what again was natural to me.
I don’t think I’d ever chanted as hard as I did then. I knew my little magic was not blood magic but it was mine. And I was able to control it. I knew the rules of this power. I knew the risks. He should be mine. I wanted to control him.
Then it happens. He embraces me! He wraps his hand around my waist. And then he opens his mouth and I’m so sure he’s ready to submit to me.
But that doesn’t happen.
“What the hell are you doing? Stop it,” he states at that moment.
And I realize he was wrapping his arm around me just so he can lift me up over his shoulder.
And that’s when I realize as I look down at Blanco Ferris that I had got to have him. I wanted him badly. It ached all over my body. This man had me AND Notch dangling from shoulders without breaking a sweat. He carries us like toddlers.
He throws me in the room first saying a stern, “You wanted to know what blood magic was. Blood magic is sacrificing to our ancestors whose spirits come to serve us and reign hell on our enemies. If you leave this room again…you’ll be one of those ancestor spirits I sacrifice to.”
He slams the door locking me in alone. I sit there for a moment finding myself again helpless in this situation but I also realize that for the first time in this place I am alone.
I rush to my bag and pull out my mirror.
“Papa Midnight. Papa Midnight.”
I look in the mirror and try reflection looks back at me. And then all of a sudden he is there with me. Leon Staten was sitting on the couch, legs crossed staring at the furniture instead of me.
“Interesting place,” he states.
I’d summoned him with the mirror. I guess it was a surprise he was actually here. My heart races wondering what Blanco would do to me if he’d found Papa Midnight there in the room with me. But I had to cool down and realize this had to be magic. Leon wasn’t worried about it so I wasn’t going to be the lame and stress about it.
“I need answers Midnight. I just found out that my mother is alive. Not only that but something about me having a twin.”
Leon looks back at me with a blank stare, “I don’t know anything about that. I’m an outsider like you. The blood covens secrets are something I know nothing about.”
I believed him. Shit. I cross my arms walking back and forth. He didn’t know them. But he seemed to know me.
“There’s a boy here. Blanco Ferris.”
Even talking about him makes my face flush. I think about how he gathered me. Throwing me over his shoulder on those broad strong arms. I think about how he disposed of Notch with just a bloody nose. My entire mind is shaking, wanting to know more.
“What about him?” Leon asks.
I pause. Remembering him close to me wrapping his arms around my waist, “I coerced him.”
“You are using coercion?” He asks getting up off the couch and looking at me, “Didn’t we discuss the dangers of letting these people know you have that gift?”
“I tried. And I failed.”
He nods, “It means he has strong magic. Your magic only works on weaker minds.”
I cross my arms, “I want him…”
“I need you to want something else. Your next task is to talk to your mother. Find out what she knows.”
“And my prize…?”
He hands me a notebook. It’s a small notebook one that he’s had wrapped up like a roll of paper towels. He hands it to me and I feel the weight of this thing. It’s older. Brown and looks almost torn up and used.
“What are these?” I ask, “These codes.”
I look at the coded language in here. Some I could read but some of it just didn’t make sense. It was like some sort of legend. But a legend to what?
“You’ll need to get good quick with blood magic or else they won’t let you in the competition. And I need you to win the competition. So this a cheat sheet. Notes on how a powerful witch doctor made sense of his blood magic and techniques on how to do things easier.”
The book just says “My notes” on the cover but I realize the name underneath reads: Genesis Bah.
“This belongs to my father,” I ask, “How’d you get this?”
Before he can answer something distracts me.
Just then I hear the door opening and in walks Angelica Atwood. I turn and realize that Leon is gone.
He’s disappeared into thin air. And I grab my father’s notebook roll it up and stuff it in my bag as Angelica approaches.
The Headmistress descends into the lobby. She doesn’t make eye contact with me. Rather she dresses the red curtains as though she had become intimate with this room fixing things over a long period of time,
She talks even while busy.
“You still have that look of Moreen Island on you. The smell too. I miss that place. It’s been a while since we migrated here to the city of monsters taking the bloodline with us. The five families of blood magic. The Ferris, the Atwoods, the Wrights, The Bosses, and…”
“The Bah.”
“Yes. Coven. Family. We weren’t perfect. Each family is known for its own issues. The chauvinistic militant nature of the Ferris family. Or the rowdy, aggressive Wright family. The Atwood’s are a competitive house known for their inbreeding to keep their bloodline pure with magic. The Boss bloodline was known for being afraid of their magic and the family most likely to try to present as human. And then there were you guys. You Bah…”
She says that with a heaviness to her.
“What were we known for?” I ask peeking up like a child learning of his heritage for the first time. I had to admit excitement was running all through me.
“Unbridled ambition,” she explains, “And I think we may need that. Back in the day, I had my own coven. Your father was a part of it. That was the last time the five families had an inner coven that acted as a true coven.”
“What about the coven now?”
She sighs.
“A dysfunctional group of misfits. The inner circle is a reflection of the coven as a whole and ours are the black sheep of the Witch Towers. I think you’ve met a few. Blanco Ferris...who has taken Ferris militarism to the extreme, or the tricky Notch Boss who uses every trick in the book except for magic. And then my daughters...the spoiled brats too rich and lazy to care about the sacrifices required in magic….”
“You seem highly annoyed,” I notice.”
“Don’t get me wrong. The inner-circle for the Sacrificial witches are young, beautiful, and they have so much potential. But they squander it. Back then me and my coven worked for it. We sweat blood, sweat, and tears. Especially blood. A lot of blood. But this new generation doesn’t know how to sacrifice. It’s not their fault. For years before they got here, the Sacrificial Coven has been a laughing stock.”
She looked like it pained her. I could imagine how I would feel working for a reputation so hard and I am a member of the Sacrifice coven of Moreen Island before I was headmistress of this school.”
“Not for long,” I tell her, “I overheard the meeting. I heard what the leaders of the other covens said when you left. They are plotting against you, Mistress.”
I felt a need to have her back because for the first time I felt acknowledged by someone for being special in a good way. She defended me back in that room. She wouldn’t let up. I respected that and I respected her.
“I know. But thank you for telling me,” she states, “I owe you the same in return.”
“My mother. Let me talk to my mother.”
“I’m sorry but now isn’t the time for that,” she states quickly changing the situation however, “It’s for the best.”
“Why not?”
“Because Freedom is not cherished in a coven. Loyalty is. The five families all descended from Fatima. The first witch doctor to sacrifice to the spirits her blood.”
She puts a paper in front of me. She sits it on my lap as I’m sitting on the sofa. The paper has been written on it.
“What is it?” I state realizing it’s not in English.
“It’s a new tradition. Words of advice from Fatima...the the oldest witch in our coven. They will become easier to read the closer you get to our coven.”
“Our...coven?”
“Yes, Gene Bah. It seems like we forgot one of our own and it is time you came back to claim you. Gene Bah, you will become the newest member of the inner coven.”
This is why I had come. This was why I was here.
“Where do I sign?”
“In this coven…we sign in blood.”
She says it as though to scare me. As though she thinks this is some sort of game for me. I quickly put my finger in my mouth. I gnaw at the flesh as viciously as I can drawing blood. I slam it on the paper. God knows if this is what she meant. But there was one thing that was for sure. She knew I was willing to bleed for this.
I would bleed for this coven if necessary.
“I’ve dealt with your father...for years. He was horrendous, cruel, intimidating, vicious and more than all of those things….he was brilliant. He taught me how to take magic seriously. He taught me how to be the best in many ways. He was my teacher. During the last effective coven of the sacrifice witches. The coven that all the legends around here are about. He was the reason we were effective witches.”
The way she talked about him made me lean forward in my seat. I’d heard whispers on the island about the witches of Moreen Island. The Sacrifice witches in red. The power they had right before they went away that had caused the island to stand still and believe once again in magic.
And I am fascinated.
“Was he a good teacher?” I ask, “My father?”
“You should have known him. I was a crybaby back then. He’d pull me to the side when all the others were asleep. He’d continue his lessons. It was the one thing we had in common. We could keep learning when all the others couldn’t.”
“I’m like that too,” I assure her. “ I promise you. Anything I can learn…”
She sighs, “If I could go back in time, I would have done things differently. And I always wished I had the chance. But with his son. Maybe I do.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’ll make it simple with you. I can teach you. I can give you my family. I can give you a coven. I can give you a purpose. If you are like your father, you are hiding something. And I think it comes down to how you got here. How you found us. So I want to give you a chance. To make a choice now. I want you to decide to be loyal to your coven...and join us. Or stay loyal to whatever force brought you here----”
The way she talks to me makes me think she is the smartest person in the world. There were very few people that could really make me feel as though they were really able to influence me. There was just something about her story about working with my father. If half the legends about the coven that existed back then were true then I knew this was where I belonged.
I had no choice.
It sucked but for the first time, I felt like I was home. I wasn’t going to fuck that up. I wasn’t going to fuck that up for some weird guy with a vendetta. I waste no time. It was time to sell out Papa Midnight.
“His name is Leon Staten,” I state pointing out, “He always wears gray. He says he studies a different sort of magic. He wants me to win the competition coming up. He’s given me a magic mirror to call him.”
“Leon,” she states as though she may recognize the name, “Years ago a Leon Staten practiced illegal magic in the human world. We had to track them down to stop this. None of them survived, except him.”
“He wants revenge. You can use me. I’ll turn on him,” I let her know, “I’m loyal to the coven. All I have to do is sing Papa Midnight twice in the mirror and he appears. I can set him up if you want.”
She doesn’t seem surprised. She flashes me an empty hand and I know what it means even without her saying it. I run and retrieve the mirror.
The truth was it never sat right on me to be spying on these people. Perhaps it was Blanco’s power or Notch’s wit, or maybe it was Angelica’s intellectual nature. I knew these were MY people. They could teach me more.
“I’m impressed,” she states, “You Bah’s have already been the best at telling people what they wanted to hear. How can I trust you?”
I assure her, “Because I’m not just saying it. I’ll give you loyalty. I’ll slay your enemies. I’ll boil their blood in a fucking cauldron if you want.”
She smirks, “That’s better. Welcome to the coven of blood.”
Blanco tossed and turned for an hour. He had met Gene Bah, the son of the legendary Genesis Bah... but his thoughts weren't exactly "PG" material, no matter how hard he tried to resist. This boy had given him the biggest, hardest boner of his life. All he could think about was Genesis clinging to his body, How he called found Gene Bah "sexy as hell", and how much he wanted him.
He was a Virgo . He never had sex before. He never wanted it before.
He slid his hand under his boxer briefs and tried to tame the beast. His throbbing 10 inches, however, remained inconsolable.
God Gene’s ass looked so good. He was so handsome. He was so perfect.. So wrong...fuck it.
Closing the guest bedroom behind him as quietly as possible, Blanco tip-toed to the guest bedroom that Gene has been brought to now that he was a part of the coven. He reached the door handle and gently turned it. He stepped in and closed the door behind him.
A huge window dominated most of the wall at the other side of Gene’s room and the moon was HUGE tonight. With the blinds open, the moonlight gave light to Gene’s. perfect form in his bed. On his back, he snored, blanket up to his chest.
Please, god, let him be okay with this. If he's not, I'll gladly leave. I need to taste him just ONCE.
Once Blanco got to the edge of his bed, he slowly lifted the blanket up and crept underneath. He crawled on the bed as quietly as possible until Genes body. Blanco let his fingertips gently touch Gene’s leg and started to brush them upward to his destination. He practically jumped when he felt his fingers touch his Gene’s ass cheek. They were soft, amazing just how he thought. He trailed the size of it.
All of a sudden he could hear his father’s voice. All of a sudden he could hear all the warnings his father gave him. These Bahs were nothing more than seducers.
He climbs out of the bed and walks into the living area.
He couldnt stop thinking about him. But he has to stay focused. Most people thought these Witch Trials meant nothing.
But he would bring honor back to his family and nothing would distract him. Nothing would get in his way. Even if that person was the first person he had ever truly been attracted to.
He would make things right.
Even if that meant killing Gene Bah.
