The Student Reporters
Part Six
By Chris
"My first couple of weeks here was a bit nerve racking and especially my first beginners swimming class. I just wanted to get through it without any of the kids drowning which thank god none did." Donna said with a bit of a laugh.
"I knew that Joan was keeping an eye on me and I really wanted to do well. Plus being back in the water again seemed to be right, like that is where I should be. And that is when I first met Megan, the little girl that brought you in here. She was about four then and she was as shy, backwards, and fearful child that I had even seen. Her mother came to me after I had been here for a couple of weeks. She told me that her youngest child was learning disabled. It seems that when she was born, the cord was wound around her neck and she almost died. I could see that her mother loved her child dearly but she needed my help. The little girl was scared of water and I mean really scared of water. Her mother had to bath her from the sink as she wouldn't get near the tub. She didn't know where the fear came from but it had been there since birth. She was also very shy and would cling to her mother whenever they went out of the house or someone new came to visit. She said her pediatrician said that maybe swimming lessons would help her get over her fear. So she came to see me." Donna said as she turned to face them.
"My first instinct was to refuse, I had just begun teaching and I was still trying to keep my students from drowning much less swim and I knew that this woman needed someone with more experience than I had. But then I saw the desperation in the woman's face so I said that'd I try. I just knew that this would just be another failure for me but something told me that I had to really try to help her. I told Megan's mother to bring her to the pool after my last lesson the next day. Then I went home and read all three of those books over again, staying up all night just to be ready for her. So Megan and her mother showed up the next day and I saw a girl that had fear just leaping from her eyes and she was clinging to her mother as she carried her. I didn't know what to do but I had to do something to help this poor child. I finally decided to at least get the girl close to the pool. So I had Megan's mother slip off her shoes and come to the edge of the pool. I helped her to sit down and put her feet into the water with Megan clinging to her crying with her face pressed against her mother's chest. I got into the pool coming up to them and I began to talk to Megan, ignoring her mom. I spent an hour talking to Megan telling her how much fun the pool was and everything that I liked to do in the pool." Donna told them as she took a pause in her story.
"I didn't get her to talk to me but I at least got her to stop crying. So that was how my first lesson went. The next day we repeated the same thing however she stopped crying after about ten minutes and I could tell that she was listening to me. I knew then that there was some hope and I became determined to get this little girl into the pool. It took me a week to get her to talk to me and another week to get her off of her mother's lap and to put her toes into the water. Two weeks later she was kicking her feet and splashing me then giggling like the little girl that she was. I had become her friend and she had begun to trust me. Once I had her trust, I knew I was going to succeed but I had to be careful. Another month and she allowed me to carry her into the water but she was holding on for dear life. I let her feet get wet that day and then the next we actually got her bottom wet. By this time when her mother brought her in, she didn't have to carry her and she would come running to me and give me a hug. I worked all so slowly until I got her down far enough in the water to get her shoulders wet. Once we had reached that point, the rest became easier. But I still had to go slow and make sure that she trusted me not to let anything bad happen to her. And I also had to make it fun which meant that I got splashed a lot but it was cool, it made her laugh and smile. I had grown to love those smiles and I was just as excited to see her come in as she was to see me. And when her mother saw her swimming on her own, she began to cry which made me cry with her. Her little shy backwards girl had conquered something and that was all she needed to break out of her shell. Megan had something to be proud of and something that she could do without struggling to learn it. And for the first time in my life, I did something good that didn't benefit me. I did it for Megan and her mother." Donna said and there were tears in her eyes again but this time they seemed to Ashley to be happy tears.
"Of course I've now created a little water dog. She lives to swim making her mother bring her here every day and she helps me keep things going or at least she thinks she does. I'm pretty sure that she's convinced that this place can't operate without her and I can't manage anything without her help." Donna said with a laugh.
"But you wouldn't have it any other way would you." Ashley stated.
"Oh hell no, I'd miss her terribly if she wasn't here to pester me." Donna told them meaning it with all her heart.
"You've made her life better, that's something to be proud of, and I think you've found a home here haven't you." Jillian stated.
"Yes I have, maybe this is what I'm meant to do. God knows I've done enough wrong in my life; it's about time I gave a little back. But it might all be lost when what I did to Coach Wilder comes out and it will when you two do your article." Donna said with a sigh.
"It is just an article for our class; nobody will probably ever see it other than our professor." Ashley said feeling sorry for Donna now that she knew the whole story.
"Still I wish..." Donna said then she stopped herself.
"Wish what?" Ashley asked her.
"I wish that I knew what to say to Coach." Donna said and she began to cry.
Ashley picked up her purse, taking out a piece of paper and she wrote down a number that she got from one of her notebooks that she carried around. "How about giving her a call and telling her what you told us. Tell her all of it including Megan and how you have helped her with a little bit of help from your old coach." Ashley said giving her Coach Wilder's number.
"I believe that I will," Donna said with a sigh. "So go ahead and ask your questions, I'm sure you got plenty."
"No we got what we came for. Besides I'm sure that Megan is waiting for you to come out and help her keep things going." Ashley said as she got up and getting a questioning look from Jillian whom she knew was dying to drill Donna on all the details.
Donna gave out a laugh, "Yea I'm sure I'm going to be fussed at." She paused for a second then she asked. "Would you both like to have dinner with me tonight, I know a great seafood restaurant we could go to and it will give Jillian time to ask me all the questions that are swirling around in her head."
"We'd love to and you're right about my friend here, she's the real reporter here." Ashley said then she went to Donna and gave her a hug and while doing so she whispered into her ear, "Make that call, it'll clear your conscious and I think Coach Wilder will understand and forgive you."
"I hope so," Donna said as she hugged her back. Donna then went to Jillian and gave her a hug before walking them out finding out what hotel they were at so that she could pick them up later that day and then she gave them both a hug before letting them go.
"You know I came down here hating that bitch and now I like her, what's with that?" Jillian said after getting into the car.
"Megan got to her before you did, whatever bitch was there is long gone now." Ashley said with a smile.
"Damn that little girl!" Jillian said and then she laughed.
"So what do we do now?" Ashley asked as Jillian started the car.
"We tell it like it was, Donna was used by those assholes but Donna was also a willing victim. We just got to remember who the real bad guys are and go after them. Donna was their tool and they pressed her buttons perfectly." Jillian told her.
"True, do we have enough now to use?" Ashley asked.
"I don't think so unless Donna has a copy of that letter she signed." Jillian told her.
"I think they were too smart to let her have a copy." Ashley told her.
"I'm sure they were but I'm going to ask her tonight anyway along with a few other questions." Jillian told her.
"Be nice, I like her and I like what she's doing here. She's making a difference to these girls, giving them something to do and to look forward to doing." Ashley told Jillian in a voice that was more of an order than a request.
"I'll be nice but I still got to ask the questions that we need answers to." Jillian told her.
"I know, I've got questions too but I like her. I think at one time she really was a selfish bitch but she has been knocked down a few pegs and she has learned from having that happen. She's learned humility." Ashley told her.
"Yes she has," Jillian said then she asked, "So what are we going to do now, we got a few hours to kill before Donna comes to pick us up?"
"You know I've never had a romantic walk on the beach and since we're so close, maybe we can go there..." Ashley suggested.
"That sounds nice..." Jillian said and then she reached over taking Ashley's hand in hers giving it a squeeze.
"Of course, I actually dreamed of having that walk with someone I actually liked but since we're here, I'll take what I can get." Ashley said keeping a straight face.
"Well you little bitch!" Jillian said, letting go of Ashley's hand so that she could hit her on the arm.
Ashley laughed, "Sorry I couldn't resist." Then she grabbed Jillian's hand and bringing it up to her lips to give it a kiss.
"Try harder next time," Jillian said seriously then she laughed as she gave Ashley's hand a squeeze.
Jillian got them to the beach which was about an hour away and they had their walk, going up the beach hand in hand, talking and laughing as they picked on each other. And when they found themselves alone, Jillian pulled Ashley to give her a long soft kiss thus making the walk as romantic as Ashley had dreamed it would be.
That evening, they had their dinner with Donna. Jillian and Ashley asked the questions that they needed and wanted answers to getting more information about the athletic director and his cronies. Then after their dinner had arrived, the conversation turned to more pleasurable things. They got Donna to talk more about her work and how she had come to love her job which didn't pay a lot but it was something that she enjoyed. Donna had a few failures with some of her girls that she couldn't reach but this time it wasn't due to the fact that she didn't try hard enough. But there were lots more cases like Megan who had their lives changed by her. Maybe not to the extent that Megan's life had been changed but changed for the good all the same. Donna even had started a couple of swim teams for different age groups they had actually won a swim meet or two. Donna thought that with Megan becoming such a water dog, she might actually become a good swimmer. Being a straight A student was way beyond Megan's capabilities but being a great swimmer was a possibility. And if nothing else, Megan could always work with Donna and be of service there and do something that she could be proud of. And as time passed, that was what Megan ended up doing but she was happy and that was all that mattered.
After leaving the restaurant, Donna took them to a local tavern to have a drink or two as they finished up the last of the questions that Jillian and Ashley had for her. Of course, Donna didn't have a copy of the letter, but she knew who was there when she signed the letter. And she also remembered most of what was said during the short meeting. Ashley was able to record the interview so that nothing was missed and they had it for use when it came time to write their article.
"As much as I dreaded talking to you two, I'm glad that it's all out in the open now, it's been something I have thought about a lot over the past couple of years." Donna told them as they talked in front of the motel.
"Well we're glad that we could help and I guess we need to admit that we'd thought that you'd be a real bitch and that you'd deny everything. But we found out that you're not the person we thought you'd be. And I would like for us to be friends if you'd like." Ashley told her and she saw that Donna didn't seem surprised that they thought she'd be a bitch.
"I'm not the person I used to be. I'm not an angel by any means but it's kind of hard to be a bitch when Megan stares at you with those hopeful and trusting eyes. You try harder to become the person she thinks you are. And the other kids are the same way, they listen to every word you say and they know when they're being lied to or being bullshitted. So they keep me on my toes and on the straight and narrow." Donna said with a laugh but she was being serious too.
"I bet they do," Jillian told her. "I'm afraid that we've got to go now, we have a early morning flight and we got to get a little sleep but I do hope that you'll come to see us and maybe let us come back sometime to see you."
"I'd like that. I'd like that a lot." Donna said and then tears appeared in her eyes.
"I'd like that too," Ashley said as she went to Donna giving her a heartfelt hug.
"I'd like it too," Jillian said when Ashley released Donna and she hugged her too.
They then exchanged phone numbers, email addresses and Face Book pages. Then they hugged once again before Donna let them go. Ashley and Jillian went on up to their room, talking about Donna and the work that they still had ahead of them. But at least they finally had some evidence that Coach Wilder was fired because she was a lesbian and not because she wasn't a good coach, which she obviously was. When they got to their room, they took a quick shower and packed their bags. They had to get up at six to catch their eight A.M. flight home. Neither liked having to get up that early but with the short time they had to book their flight, it was the only one available. So after a kiss goodnight, they went to sleep both dreading having to get up so fucking early.
While their seats were in the front of the small plane, they were allowed to move to the back since the plane wasn't crowded. No one wanted to fly out that early on a Sunday morning, including them. They were both sleepy but Ashley felt her nerves waking her up, but she didn't know which she was more nervous about, flying or if Jillian would make good on her promise. She got her first clue when Jillian put her carryon up in the overhead compartment and when she sat down; she had a blanket in her hand.
"So?" Jillian asked after she had put the blanket over them both but mostly over Ashley.
"So what?" Ashley asked pretending that she had no clue as to what Jillian was asking her.
"Are you wearing any panties under that skirt?" Jillian asked with a devious grin on her face.
"Yes I'm wearing panties, what do you think that I'm some kind of slut going without panties?" Ashley stated.
"Slut no but I also don't think you're wearing any panties." Jillian told her. "Maybe I just need to check."
"Don't you dare!" Ashley hissed as she pushed Jillian's hand away.
"Oh I do dare." Jillian stated giving Ashley a wink and this time when Jillian slipped her hand under the blanket, Ashley didn't stop her; instead she opened her legs a bit.
"I can't believe that I'm letting you do this to me again..." Ashley said as she felt Jillian's hand on her right thigh lightly rubbing and caressing it.
"It's fun to be naughty every once in a while, now isn't it?" Jillian whispered to her as she gave her a little kiss on the cheek.
"Yes...," Ashley had to admit.
Ashley felt Jillian's hand slowly pulling up her skirt. Ashley closed her eyes as she felt her heart pounding from both upon hearing the engines starting up and feeling her skirt get to her hip. She could feel her pussy getting moist but at least she though ahead enough to pull up the back of her skirt before sitting down. She felt for the person sitting down in her seat after her but at that moment, that wasn't much of a concern to her. She felt Jillian's fingers move along her upper thigh to her inner thigh. She put her head on Jillian's shoulder as she felt Jillian's fingers lightly touch her slit. Ashley had to hold in a moan as the plane started taxiing out to the runway. Jillian's fingers just kept lightly touching her pussy until the plane got to the runway and started down it. That was when Ashley felt one of Jillian's fingers enter her pussy. Ashley felt her heart pounding from both what Jillian was doing to her and the fact that the plane was lifting off the ground. Ashley let out a moan as that finger went deeper into her pussy and Jillian began to wiggle it around.
"Oh god you're making me into a nasty slut," Ashley moaned as she unbuckled her seatbelt as soon as the sign came on and she slid her ass out to the edge of her seat.
"It's fun being a nasty slut sometimes isn't it..." Jillian whispered into her ear.
"Oh fuck yes..." Ashley moaned back to Jillian as Jillian began to rub her clit causing her to have a small orgasm.
Jillian fingered her to a couple of more orgasms before they landed back at home and Ashley felt drained as she tried to put herself back together as they plane taxied to the terminal.
When they got back to the apartment, they ate a bit of lunch and then set to work on what they had gotten from Donna. They put down everything that she had said going back over the recording that Jillian had made and then extracting the important things from that. They felt like they were close to getting what they needed and maybe had gotten all they could from the last team members that Coach Wilder had coached. They knew that they wanted at some point to interview Coach Wilder but wondered if they were ready to do that yet. So after finishing up with their project, they started to work on their other classes.
At about nine, Ashley got a call on her cell and she noticed that it was from Donna. She picked it up but before she could say anything, Donna began to talk, and talk she did. Jillian came through to get something to drink and Ashley mouthed to her that it was Donna. Jillian smiled then she gave her a kiss on the forehead before returning to the living room with her coke to continue studying.
"So what did Donna have to say?" Jillian asked as Ashley came into the bedroom after visiting the bathroom to get ready for bed.
"I think we got her thinking and her conscious got to bothering her." Ashley said as she slipped into bed scooting in next to Jillian.
"Which led her to do what may I ask?" Jillian asked.
Ashley had to smile as she loved to tease her friend who also loved to tease her, "She called Coach Wilder this afternoon."
"Oh I see," Jillian said, "I knew she would eventually but I didn't think it would be this quickly."
"Nor I," Ashley replied, "but I guess we got to her more than we thought that we had."
"Yea, but Beckie had called her that we had been asking questions so I bet she has been thinking about what she had done for a while now." Jillian told her.
"That's true, but anyway she did call and they talked." Ashley told her.
"So what did Coach Wilder have to say?" Jillian asked.
"That's the weird part or maybe not. Since I don't know Coach Wilder, I don't know if it was out of character for her but I suspect not and that is what I told Donna." Ashley told Jillian.
"What did she do?" Jillian asked with some frustration beginning to show in her voice.
Sorry," Ashley said as she laughed a little, "Well Donna told Coach Wilder what she had done and why she had done it. Then she began to cry as she tried to tell her how sorry she was for what she had done to her. Donna then said that Coach Wilder told her it wasn't Donna's fault but her own."
"How did she figure that?" Jillian asked and Ashley saw that she was confused as she was when she heard Donna tell her that.
"Well Coach Wilder said it was her fault because she had failed to find a way to reach her. She thought that pushing her was the way to go but now she realizes that she was wrong. She should have tried something else. Donna tried to convince her that it wasn't the coach's fault but her own but Coach Wilder wouldn't hear of it. Then she changed the subject by asking Donna about her life. So Donna talked for the next hour and half about what she was doing and all about Megan and how she actually found a way to help her and her mother. Donna said that Coach Wilder was all excited to hear about her new life and how proud she was of her. Donna said that once she got off the phone with her old coach, she felt like a large weight had been lifted off her shoulders. It was like she was finally free of her past." Ashley told her.
"That's good, I'm glad that Donna finally talked to Coach Wilder and confessed what she had done. I suspect that Coach Wilder knew all along who had done what and why." Jillian told her.
"Probably so but why didn't she fight her firing?" Ashley asked.
"That my dear is a question that only Coach Wilder can answer and a question we'll have to ask." Jillian said.
"Yes we will," Ashley said and then she turned to turn off the light as she was tired and ready to get some sleep as it had been a long, long day.
They were both excited when they entered Dr. Laurence's class and were eager to share what they had discovered from Donna with the class and more importantly with Dr. Laurence. He came in a couple of minutes before class and both Jillian and Ashley wanted to talk to him but they were too slow and a couple of the other students got to him first so they had wait until after class. Dr. Laurence soon got the class under way talking and discussing some of the finer points of conducting an interview and also how to get what they needed from them. Then he opened up the class to general discussion. Again Ashley and Jillian had to wait to last but this time they didn't mind. And when it got to their turn, Jillian spoke first giving all the important points and Ashley filled in with the extra stuff including how Donna had changed her life as she felt that was important to get across to the rest of the class and also to the readers as if it was going to be put into print in a newspaper.
"So you think you got enough to prove your theory?" Dr. Laurence asked of them both giving them a critical look.
"No sir," Jillian answered for both of them.
"You're right, you don't. You got most of the swim team who think this Donna Morgan did something to get Coach Wilder fired. And now you have Ms. Morgan confirming that. However you don't have any hard proof, just one liar's word against the athletic department who holds a lot of power here." Dr. Laurence told them.
"Donna is not a lair, she told us the truth and I believe her!" Ashley spit back at him.
"Now Alphabet, did Donna Morgan not lie to get Coach Wilder fired?" He asked.
Ashley paused and she looked to Jillian for help but she couldn't help her here and she knew it. "Well yes, but..." Ashley was saying when Dr. Laurence interrupted her.
"Alphabet, I know you like Ms. Morgan and believe her when she says that she has changed her ways, but until you have something to back up her claims, then all you have is one person's word against what I feel will be a number of important people denying anything she says. And she had no one to back her up, not from the team, not from anywhere. If it makes it any better, I believe you and I'm sure a lot of people would but there is no creditable editor in the country that would print your article. They would be putting themselves up for a libel suit that they couldn't win. You need more." He stated.
"But how do we get it?" Jillian asked. "I've tried my best to get someone to talk to me but I'm hitting a brick wall when it comes to the athletic department."
"Then you hit that damn wall harder, and keep hitting it until you break through..." Dr Laurence told them and then he paused for a moment to make his point, "or you can just give up and maybe I'll give you a D- for what you have so far."
Ashley knew that anyone else in the class would have gotten an A for what they had gotten so far but she also knew that Dr. Laurence expected more from she and Jillian and he had just challenged them both to give him more.
When they had gotten out of class, Jillian turned to Ashley and said, "You know I really do love Dr. Laurence and I have the upmost respect for him, however there are some days that I want to tell him to shove it up his ass. I mean him telling us that he'd give us a D- for what we have. We've proved our point."
"But he's right; we don't have any proof, just the statement of an admitted liar." Ashley told her.
"I know but Donna is telling the truth, I'm sure of it." Jillian told her.
"I know it too but we have to have someone or something to back up her story." Ashley told her.
"But how?" Jillian asked.
"We hit that damn wall with a sledge hammer and if that doesn't work then we steal a fucking tank and blow down the damn wall." Ashley said.
"I think we should go straight for the tank!" Jillian said with a laugh.
"How about lunch and maybe we can figure out a way to steal a tank." Ashley told her with a laugh.
"Sounds good, I'm getting a bit hungry. You may be a great lover but your breakfast this morning left a bit to be desired." Jillian told her.
"Hey, you're the one who decided that we needed to make love this morning thus leaving me little time to cook so buttered toast was all we had time for," Ashley said told her.
"Well if you didn't have such a cute body then I wouldn't be horny for it all the time." Jillian told her and Ashley felt her face blushing but Jillian's compliment deserved at least a kiss on the cheek so she gave her one.
"Come on lover, let's go get something to eat and figure out a way to knock that damn wall down." Ashley told her.
So they went on out of the building heading to the dining hall. They didn't notice the girl that was walking close behind them listening to everything that they were saying. And they didn't notice that she was smiling when she found out that they were lovers, something that she had sort of figured out already.
Since they couldn't figure out how to steal a tank, they began to plan on a way to get inside of the athletic department's code of silence. They figured that they had gone as far as they could with the swim team members and they wanted to save Coach Wilder for last, so they both began to try to get someone to talk to them. Ashley joined Jillian in talking to everyone that they could within the department. It wasn't hard to get some of the younger men to talk to them but they were all to low in the department to be of any help. Jillian began to wonder if they needed to get someone in the computer science department to break into the athletic department's computers but Ashley nixed that idea as well as the one Jillian had to break in themselves. She didn't think Jillian was serious but then again, Jillian really wanted to nail the bastards but they couldn't find a way.
They were into the first week of November and they both were becoming worried. They went to talk to Dr. Laurence in his office and also during class trying to get ideas and they began to wonder if maybe the job was too big for them and Jillian began to wonder if she was as great a reporter as she thought herself to be. When they came out of Dr. Laurence's class that next Monday they were both feeling dejected and more than a little depressed about their project.
They had just gotten outside of the building when they heard a voice behind them say, "So I see you both still haven't figured out a way to break down that wall."
They both turned and Ashley saw that it was one of their classmates from Dr Laurence's class, Maggie, she believed her name was. "No we haven't." Ashley told her.
"Well I got a question for you." Maggie told them.
"What's that?" Jillian asked.
"Can a couple of lesbian dyke sluts like you two be trusted?" Maggie asked.
Ashley looked over at Jillian and saw that she was about to jump Maggie and beat the ever living shit out of her but Ashley put her arm out stopping her. One reason was that Maggie was just as tall as Jillian with a bit more weight. She wore no makeup and she was dressed in a men's shirt and old blue jeans. Her breasts were a little larger than hers and her hips a bit wider too. Her hair was long and jet black and she had soft blue eyes that one could find themselves staring into all day long. Ashley could see in those eyes a girl that tried to act a little tough but inside she was all soft. Ashley just knew that this was a girl that she could like and she knew Jillian would too once she got her calmed down.
"Yes, we're a couple of lesbian dyke sluts that can be trusted," Ashley said with a smile that earned her a confused and mean look from Jillian.
"Good then maybe you'll let this lesbian dyke slut join you for lunch and we can talk," Maggie told them.
"You know I really don't appreciate being called a dyke or a slut, at least not in that way." Jillian told her.
"Don't you hear that all the time?" Maggie asked her.
"Yes sometimes we do and I don't like it." Jillian told her.
"I don't either but the way I figure it is that if we call ourselves that, it takes one of the things that the homophobics use to hurt us away so that it really doesn't mean anything." Maggie said with a big smile.
"It doesn't mean anything anyway," Ashley told her.
"No it doesn't and that's what my girlfriend tells me and she doesn't like it when I call her that." Maggie told them.
"But obviously that doesn't stop you." Jillian told her.
"Nope, she knows I love to push her buttons," Maggie said with a laugh that made Ashley have to smile.
"And does this girlfriend push back?" Ashley asked.
"Oh hell yes, she's better at pushing buttons my buttons than I am hers." Maggie said laughing again.
"Good for her," Ashley told her.
"So what do you want to talk about anyway?" Jillian asked wanting to get back on the subject.
"Let's wait until we can get somewhere we can talk and somewhere where no one else will overhear us." Maggie said seriously.
On the way to the dining hall, Maggie talked about Dr. Laurence's class and how he seemed to love to pick on them and then she got off on her girlfriend, JoAnn, who Ashley liked even without meeting her. She seemed to be smart and very serious; at least that is how Maggie made her out to be. They got to the dining hall and as they ate, Maggie asked questions about them and how long they had been together. She asked a lot of questions of including going into their past. Ashley saw that Jillian was getting impatient but Ashley could see what Maggie was doing. She wanted to get to know them as much as she could before she told them what she knew. Ashley reached under the table grasping Jillian's hand and giving it a squeeze hoping that she was getting to her. She saw Jillian's face and shoulders relax so the message was received. After that Jillian answered all of Maggie's questions without the impatience showing in her face and voice.
"I got a warning for you both before I go on and I want you both to understand that I mean it when I say it." Maggie told them both once her questions ended.
"What's that?" Jillian asked trying to act like she wasn't worried about anything that Maggie might say.
"If you ever do anything to hurt the person I'm talking about, I'll beat the ever- living shit out of you both." Maggie stated as a matter of fact and left no doubt in Ashley's mind that she would do just that.
Ashley felt and saw Jillian tense up as she knew Jillian didn't like to be threatened and she wasn't one to back down to anyone, even if they were quiet capable of doing what they said they would. Ashley gripped Jillian's hand tighter and she gave her a look to keep quiet. Once Jillian calmed down a little but not completely, Ashley spoke, "The person that you are talking about must be very important to you, is it your girlfriend JoAnn?"
"No it's my grandmother, who has raised me since my parents were killed in an auto accident when I was three." Maggie told them with a solemn expression on her face.
"In that case, we promise never to do anything to hurt her." Jillian said as her facial expression softened.
"I concur but why are you so worried, we're just working on a paper for class, it's not like anyone but Dr. Laurence and the class will ever see what we have written." Ashley told her.
Maggie gave her a funny look before saying with a smile, "You two have no clue as to what you're doing do you?"
"Yeah we do, we're exposing a wrong that was done to someone." Jillian told her.
"No you're doing much more, you're exposing a major case of sexual discrimination done by a rather large university, one that is much deeper than you realize." Maggie told them and Ashley looked over at Jillian who looked back at her then they both looked at Maggie. "Once your article gets out and it will, even if I have to be the one who leaks it out, this university will be rocked to its core."
Again Ashley looked at Jillian who was looking back at her but now Ashley could see the reporter come out in her. "Okay so who is your grandmother and what does she know?" Jillian asked.
Maggie studied them for a moment causing Ashley to get impatient but Jillian seemed to be calm as she waited her out. After a bit, Maggie cleared her throat and she seemed to have made her decision to trust them, "She's Mrs. Opal Weeden..."
"The Athletic Director's executive Assistant," Jillian finished her sentence.
"Yes she is but she'll have to decide what she tells you and I can't promise you what that will be. But I'll do what I can to help however you're the ones that will have to earn her trust." Maggie told her, "But I must warn you, she's a tough old bird that can't be bullshitted, trust me, I have learned that and my ass has learned that on more than a few occasions."
"I see," Ashley said with a smile.
"No I don't think you do..." Maggie told her and then she paused again before continuing. "Since Granny works here, I get a big discount on my tuition so there was no question as to where I would go to school. Anyway, I was eighteen and finally grown up and I was ready to enjoy that freedom. So the first weekend when there were lots of parties to go to, I went out that Friday night with a friend and we went from one party to another. Needless to say, I was more than a little drunk by the time I drove home at about three in the morning. I snuck in finding the house dark and I figured that Granny was asleep. I was real quiet, or so I thought, as I went to my bedroom and fell asleep in my clothes. I got up about one that afternoon, hungover and with blood shot eyes. Granny didn't say a word, just made me some lunch. I thought that I had gotten away with it and I was already thinking about the parties I would go to the next weekend."
Ashley was already smiling as she remember her first couple of weeks at school and how she too partied a bit but she knew Maggie wasn't through with her story and the shoe was about to drop on poor Maggie.
"Come Friday evening, I got ready to party. I was in a very tight pair of jeans, my boots, and a nice shirt. I opened my bedroom door to see Granny standing there holding my grandfather's belt. She gave me that look that I had learn long ago meant that I was in deep shit." Maggie said with a smile.
Granny said to me, "I believe that we need to address your behavior last weekend. I didn't raise you to go out drinking, smoking, and whatever else you did. And I surely raised you better than to drive home drunk. You could have killed yourself or someone else. I won't put up with that here and you won't do that as long as you're my child!"
"I knew then that I didn't get away with anything and I knew that she was right, I was stupid to drive in the condition I was in. So I turned around and went back to my bed and waited for what was to come and come it did. Needless to say my ass was still hurting Saturday morning when I woke up early and ready to help Granny around the house before studying." Maggie told them.
"You let your grandmother spank you when you were eighteen?" Jillian asked surprised but Ashley wasn't, her parents were a lot like Maggie's grandmother and she knew where Maggie was coming from.
"Yea I did but not because I was afraid of my grandmother but because I love her and I knew she was right, I did drive drunk and I did leave myself in a state that anything could have happened to me and not many of those things were good." Maggie told them.
"So did you stop drinking?" Ashley asked just to prove something to Jillian.
"No, I still like to party every once in a while but now I do it with people I can trust and I stay there overnight and drive home the next day. But I let Granny know what I'm doing and where I'm at. She doesn't like for me to drink any but she knows I'm being smart about it and thus she can go to bed not worrying about her granddaughter. She lost her daughter and she doesn't intend to lose her granddaughter before she goes." Maggie told them and Ashley saw that Jillian now understood where Maggie was coming from.
"Okay I believe that your grandmother is no pushover," Jillian told Maggie but then Ashley saw Maggie was smiling and she figured that Maggie was about to drop one more bomb on them and she was right.
"There is one more thing that you should know about my grandmother, she thinks being gay is a sin and she doesn't like gays or lesbians." Maggie told them.
"But you're gay, doesn't she know that?" Jillian asked.
"Oh yes, I told her when I was a sophomore in high school. But it seems that she loves her granddaughter a lot more than she hates gays. She even loves JoAnn who moved in with us two years ago. My grandfather had made a little apartment years ago out of the basement, so JoAnn and I live down there. That way we have our privacy and we can still look out for Granny and she can mother us." Maggie said smiling at them.
"Oh okay," Jillian said as she sat back with a bit of concern on her face, "So why will she help us with our story since it is about a lesbian and we are lesbian and we're not going to hide that fact."
Maggie gave out a little laugh before saying, "Well you see my grandmother is kind of old school who having a lesbian granddaughter has caused her to see things differently. She still says that she thinks being gay is a major sin however with me, she sees the things that I have to overcome from being gay and she sees that it's wrong. So when she tells you that she doesn't agree with being gay, that is the old school part of her talking but when it comes down to the personal level and she is face to face with you, she'll do what she thinks is the right thing to do and she'll help you I think. Just look past the hard outside and see the soft grandmother inside. And when she offers to have you spend the night so you don't have to drive after dark, accept her offer."
"We will and we'll overlook whatever she says. She sounds a lot like my mother. She hates that I'm lesbian but loves me to death and hopes that I meet the right girl which I believe that I have," Ashley said giving Jillian a soft smile.
"Yes you did and don't you forget it either!" Jillian quipped.
Ashley had to laugh and so did Maggie who said, "I believe she told you."
"Yes she did," Ashley said leaning over to give Jillian a light kiss.
"And that is my clue to leave as I got to get to my next class plus it just started to get a bit too mushy for my taste," Maggie said getting up.
"So when do we get to meet your grandmother?" Jillian asked.
"Oh sorry, come over Friday night. Give me your numbers and I'll text you the address." Maggie said.
Ashley quickly wrote down both hers and Jillian's numbers on a piece of paper, then she gave them to Maggie, "Thanks for helping us, we really were at a dead end." Ashley told her.
"No problem, but I'm not doing this just to help you, I'm doing it to help all of us lesbian dyke sluts." Maggie said with a laugh and then she was off to her next class.
"You know I really hate it when she calls us lesbian dyke sluts," Jillian said frowning.
"I know but that is just her way," Ashley said, "But I like her."
Jillian let out a smile despite herself, "I do too. I just wonder why she waited so long to help us out."
"I would say to protect her Grandmother; she didn't want to involve her unless she had to. Plus I bet she was waiting to see if we were going to carry this through. She had to know we were committed to what we were doing." Ashley told her.
"Don't tell her but I was about to give up," Jillian admitted.
"I was too but I didn't want to tell you that." Ashley also admitted.
"Well we just got a second chance so we need to be ready, which means..." Jillian was saying.
"...that we need to find out everything we can about Granny Opal." Ashley said finishing her sentence.
"Yep," Jillian said with a smile.
And so they spent the rest of the week trying to discreetly find out what they could about Maggie's grandmother. They found out that Mrs. Weeden controlled who got to see the athletic director and ran the office with efficiency that kept the department going. They knew she didn't make any of the decisions but they were pretty sure that she knew when the decisions were made and what the decision was. To them, that meant that she would know more about the Coach Wilder firing than what the Athletic Director realized. And they hoped that he and his cronies would regret that real soon.
Friday soon arrived and they were supposed to be at Maggie's place at six. Jillian had a habit of being slightly late for everything that they did as she took her time getting ready and figuring out something to wear to fit the occasion. Ashley on the other was always early so this was one of their main conflicts and for the most part, Ashley let Jillian have her way and they arrived just in time or a bit late which caused Ashley more than a little worry. This Friday, Ashley was ready for Jillian when she came in from class at four-thirty.
Jillian had barely shut the front door when Ashley called out to her from the bathroom. "I got your clothes picked out and placed on the bed. You need to hurry and take a shower."
"What's the hurry; it's only a fifteen minute drive to Maggie's house. We got plenty of time and we're just going to have dinner. What's the big deal?" Jillian asked as she came into the bathroom where Ashley had a towel wrapped around her body from having just taken a shower and she was trying to get her hair fixed right.
"The big deal is that Maggie's grandmother has the key to our project and what she tells us may determine whether we get an A or an F. So hurry up and get a shower." Ashley told her looking at a blurry Jillian through the mirror since she didn't have her glasses on and the mirror fogged from her shower.
"Okay, I'll hurry." Jillian said as she came to Ashley giving her a kiss on her right shoulder earning her a smile from Ashley, and then Jillian headed into the bedroom.
Ashley knew what Jillian would say when she saw the clothes that she had picked out for her and she wasn't disappointed, "These clothes are boring, I'm going to find something that looks like it came from this century." Jillian said aloud.
Ashley was already heading to the bedroom and she saw that Jillian had the clothes that she had picked out in her hands and was taking them toward the closet. "Jillian, we're meeting a woman in her sixties and you heard Maggie, she's very old school. We need to dress like respectable young women and not lesbian dyke sluts." Ashley told her getting a frown from Jillian on that last part of her sentence.
"Okay, you win, but I'm wearing a pair of thong panties and a push up bra." Jillian said in a bit of defiance.
Ashley smiled, "Okay you can wear those but the sweater and the skirt stays." Ashley told her then she went to Jillian giving her a kiss.
"I'm only doing this to humor you." Jillian told her.
"And I appreciate that," Ashley said going back into the bathroom to finish getting ready.
Ashley was beginning to worry as the clock neared five-thirty but Jillian did emerge from the bedroom a couple of minutes early and Ashley had to smile. Jillian had toned down her makeup, not that she ever over did it but tonight, she just had some blush on and lip gloss.
"You look nice," Ashley said to her as she came over and gave Jillian a light kiss to thank her.
"Thank you and so do you," Jillian said but then this devious grin appeared on her face that made Ashley worry. "I even changed my mind on those thong panties and push up bra."
"What did you change them to?" Ashley asked though she was fearful of the answer.
Jillian grinned as she reached down and started to pull up her long beige wrap around skirt, "I decided to go without either!" Ashley watched as Jillian raised her skirt up to her hips showing her bare pussy then she raised her sweater revealing that she indeed wasn't wearing a bra.
"Oh my god! What am I going to do with you!" Ashley said with a laugh.
"In fact, I think you should do the same," Jillian said with a big grin.
"Oh no, I'm not going commando!" Ashley protested but unfortunately she was standing near the couch and she found she could take only one step back before Jillian was at her.
"We don't have time to do this," Ashley protested as Jillian started to raise her dark blue skirt and Ashley was trying to push her hands away.
"Then don't fight me," Jillian told her and Ashley saw the determination in her eyes.
"Oh god, what am I'm going to do with you." Ashley repeated with a sigh as she let go of Jillian's hands letting her pull her panties down.
"Oh you love it when I do this to you." Jillian said with a little laugh.
"No I don't," Ashley said but she was lying and she knew that Jillian knew that too.
"Yes you do." Jillian said as she stood up holding Ashley's panties in her right hand.
"Okay so I do..." Ashley told her after Jillian gave her a kiss. Then she let Jillian take her sweater off without messing up her hair that for once she didn't have in a pony tail. Jillian unhooked her bra and pulled it off. Then before Ashley could get her sweater back on, Jillian leaned down giving a kiss to her right nipple and then her left.
"Oh god," Ashley said in a moan as she was getting a bit excited from having Jillian take her panties off and her thinking about going outside without them.
"Now quit that," Ashley said pushing Jillian away but smiling all the same.
"You'll be thinking about that all night now," Jillian said a bit mischievously.
"I know and I'll hate you for it!" Ashley told her as she pulled her sweater back on and she let Jillian help her get her hair back in place. "Now can we leave?"
"Yes we can, my dear." Jillian said with a big grin.
"Good!" Ashley said picking up her purse and the overnight bag that she had packed just in case they needed it, heeding Maggie's warning.
They talked on the way over to Maggie's house with Ashley driving and Jillian helping her with the directions coming from the GPS that Jillian had. Ever since their bet, Jillian had started to let her drive as much if not more than she did. Ashley did note that the closer that they got to Maggie's house, the more serious Jillian became. She was slowly becoming a reporter and not a mischievous girlfriend. They arrived at Maggie's grandmother's house about ten minutes early which Ashley was happy about. The house was in an older neighborhood where most of the houses were similar in design. Though some, like Maggie's grandmother's house, had siding installed to improve the insulation of the house and also keep them from having to paint it every couple of years. The front of the house had a large porch that went from one side to the other. There were several chairs sitting there so Ashley figured that it was well used in the warmer months.
They both got out and headed toward the porch. When they got to the door, Jillian knocked and they waited. Ashley was feeling a bit nervous and looking at Jillian, she saw that while she appeared calm, she saw that Jillian was popping her knuckles. Ashley grabbed Jillian's hand to stop her and also calm her a little. Ashley then heard Maggie's voice from inside of the house. A moment later, the door opened and a smiling Maggie was standing in front of them.
"Mmmm, a bit early, not trying to impress my grandmother are we?" Maggie asked with a huge grin.
"No not at all," Ashley said quickly.
"Yes she is," Jillian then quipped earning her a frown from Ashley.
"Well it'll work, she hates anyone who shows up late," Maggie told them. This prompted Ashley to give Jillian an "I told you so," look. That in turn caused Jillian to stick out her tongue at her.
Maggie gave out a hardy laugh as Ashley and Jillian exchanged facial expressions, then they heard a voice say, "Who is it dear?" Then an older woman appeared behind of Maggie. Her hair was all gray and she was as tall as Maggie, however she carried a bit more weight but not a real lot more. She had the same soft blue eyes as Maggie however her eyes were surrounded by lots more wrinkles. Ashley guessed that those eyes were passed down from Maggie's grandmother to her mother and then to Maggie. She had the same soft smile on her face but Ashley could see that she was like Maggie in that she could become serious in a second when she needed to, or rather Maggie could do so like her grandmother.
"This is Ashley and Jillian, the girls from my journalism class that I told you about." Maggie told her.
"It very nice for you to invite us over for dinner and to be willing to talk to us, Mrs Weeden," Ashley told Maggie's grandmother.
"Yes it is, we appreciate this very much, Mrs. Weeden," Jillian told her.
"Well come on in, don't stand out there in the cold." Mrs. Weeden told them. "And you can call me Granny, which is what all of my Margret's friends call me."
Ashley and Jillian stepped into the warm house as Maggie said, "You had better watch it, once you start calling her Granny you become one of her grandchildren which she thinks gives her the right to tell you what to do." Maggie said with a big smile on her face.
"Now you watch your manners Margret, I still know how to use your grandfather's belt on that sassy ass of yours." Granny spit back at Maggie. Ashley could see that she was just fussing at Maggie but there was a bit of a threat there too.
"I know you do and you can use it well," Maggie said with a big grin then she gave her grandmother a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"I don't know where she gets that sassy mouth from," Granny said with a sigh though she was saying it will love.
"I got it from mom who got it from you," Maggie said then she gave her grandmother another kiss on the cheek to keep her from saying anything back.
"Come on, JoAnn is in the living room and she dying to meet you both." Maggie said grabbing Ashley's and Jillian's hand pulling them past Granny and on into the house.
"Dinner will be ready in a half hour," Granny said as she went toward what Ashley assumed to be the kitchen which was to the right of the living room of where Maggie was dragging them.
"Do you need a hand?" Ashley asked as she stopped thus stopping Maggie and Jillian.
"Oh no, I do the cooking in this house and my girls do the cleaning," Granny told Ashley as she disappeared through the doorway.
"Not trying to suck up are we?" Maggie whispered so that her grandmother wouldn't hear.
"No just being nice... Margret." Ashley replied.
"Oh god I hate that name, I don't what possessed my mother to name me that," Maggie said with a long sigh.
"But to your grandmother, you're Margret aren't you." Jillian said.
"Yep, that's all she calls me but no one else is allowed to." Maggie said with a smile but she was also being serious.
"Well I can see that to her that's who you are," Ashley told her.
"Yea... now come on and let me introduce you to the love of my life," Maggie said as she took them on into the living room.
JoAnn was sitting on the couch with a laptop on her lap and a notebook sitting on the couch beside of her. She never looked up as they entered the living room with Maggie talking away. JoAnn had light brown hair with blond highlights in it, which she was twirling with the fingers of her left hand. Ashley could see that all of JoAnn's concentration was on her laptop and nothing was going to disturb her, not even them coming into the room and Maggie talking. Ashley could see a bit of herself in JoAnn in that once her concentration was on something, nothing was going to get it off of it, she was like that when she was really into her writing.
"Watch this," Maggie whispered to them smiling.
Maggie went to the couch and sat next to JoAnn who still didn't make a more. She then whispered something into her ear. JoAnn still didn't move but Maggie was smiling and she was using her fingers acting like she was counting down from ten. She got to five when JoAnn's expression changed a bit and was down to one when JoAnn suddenly looked up and said, "What?"
"I said that Jillian and Ashley are here," Maggie said still smiling.
"Why didn't you tell me?" JoAnn said giving Maggie a mean look.
"I did just tell you," Maggie said with a laugh. "You have to forgive her, once she gets to studying, a bomb could go off and she wouldn't hear it."
"Maggie!" JoAnn said giving a grinning Maggie a meaner look.
"I know someone just like her," Jillian said as she pointed toward Ashley who just slapped at her finger but she had to smile as it was the truth.
"I'm sorry but I was trying to study, something Maggie should try doing every once in a while," JoAnn said as she put her laptop on the couch.
"I do study, just not as much as you," Maggie spat back.
"Well I tend to study a lot too so don't let her mess with you," Ashley said as she came to JoAnn who had stood up. "I'm Ashley and this is Jillian."
"Well it's nice to finally get to meet you, Maggie has been talking about you and your story since the semester started." JoAnn said as she came to Ashley giving her a hug and then Jillian a hug.
"Since the first of the semester? That's interesting," Jillian said with a smile as she looked at Maggie.
"Oops, did I let something out I shouldn't have?" JoAnn asked looking over at Maggie who just gave her a smile.
"No you didn't, it's cool." Maggie told JoAnn to reassure her. Then she turned her attention to them, "I told you the other day that I had to be sure that you both were committed to this project. I was pulling for you all the way."
"And if we gave up, would you have come to us then?" Jillian asked.
"I don't know, I just glad that you didn't put me to the test." Maggie said.
"We are too," Ashley said to her, "But enough about that for now, I want to know how you two got together?" She then sat down in the chair that was beside of the couch and Jillian came over and sat in her lap or rather plopped down into her lap causing Ashley to grunt and then hit Jillian, but then she put her arm around her as they turned their attention toward Maggie and JoAnn.
"Oh that's a very interesting story," Maggie said with a huge grin.
"And one I'm not about to let you tell," JoAnn said and Ashley felt a little disappointed as it sounded like it was an interesting story. "You embellish it too much."
"I do not embellish it too much, I just add a few facts that may or may not be true," Maggie said then she burst out laughing.
"Well we'll let Ashley and Jillian decide whom shall tell it then," JoAnn said turning her head toward them.
Ashley spoke up before Jillian could, "We want JoAnn to tell it so we get the truth," Ashley said then she paused for a second before she added, "then we want Maggie's version."
At first a smile appeared on JoAnn's face but then she frowned as Maggie smiled. "Well just remember that my version is the truth," JoAnn said then she reached out for Maggie's hand taking it in her as a show of love.
"So tell us already, "Jillian said impatiently and that made everyone laugh.
"Well it was the start of the spring semester last year and I was in the university bookstore getting my books. I have gotten about everything that I needed and was just walking around browsing the books and things. I happened to walk into the poetry section where I spotted a book of Elizabeth Barrett Browning's poems. I have always loved her poems and I just had to have that book. I had just pulled it from the shelf when this bitch plucked it from my fingers." JoAnn was saying.
"I'm the bitch, if you were wondering," Maggie said with a big grin.
"We figured that one out," Jillian said with a laugh.
"Well I told her that it was mine and she smarted off that possession was nine- tens of the law and she possessed the book so it was hers. I then countered that it was in my possession until she stole it from me. That of course started an argument in the middle of the store." JoAnn said.
"Then she slapped me so I tackled her and we ended up in a big cat fight in the middle of the store," Maggie quipped in.
"No we didn't end up in a cat fight, but we did argue and that did draw a lot of attention and we were making a bit of a scene." JoAnn said correcting Maggie was putting her version in as JoAnn told the story.
"Just when it really was getting heated, I told her, "If you want, you can come to my place and I'll read you a few poems as we cuddle up in bed.'" Maggie said softy and also seriously.
"That she did say," JoAnn said as she blushed just a little. She gave me her address then turned to leave taking my book with her. I decided to take her up on her offer, well at least the part of coming over and getting the book. I wasn't about to sleep with the bitch, that was for sure. So that is what I did. I showed up and Maggie introduced me to Granny and she was like this completely different person than the one I met in the store. We talked for a while then she took me down to the basement where she was now living. She gave me a glass of wine and we talked about which of Browning's poems we liked the best. And before I knew it, we were naked in her damn bed and she was reading me poems from the book." JoAnn told them.
"Oh that was romantic," Ashley said softly.
"You'd never know it but she can be a romantic when she wants to be." JoAnn said then she leaned over and gave Maggie a kiss on the cheek.
"I still like my version better where we end up on the floor fighting, tearing each other's clothes off and then we end up making love in the middle of the bookstore." Maggie said with a laugh.
"Me too," Jillian said.
"Well I like JoAnn's version." Ashley told her.
And so they argued a bit about which version of the story was better and Maggie kept coming up with different versions making them all laugh and JoAnn to fuss at her. But then Granny came in to proclaim that dinner was about ready and they were all to set the table, thus establishing who was really in charge of this home.
During their dinner, Maggie kept the conversation centered on Ashley and Jillian. Ashley figured that Maggie was trying to help her grandmother get to know them and she figured that Maggie and JoAnn also wanted a lot of the details filled in. They were all taking a chance in helping them thus they all had something at stake but none more than Granny. So any questions that were asked of her, she answered as did Jillian. They talked long after their plates were clean and once Maggie seemed satisfied that she and Jillian could be trusted, she suggested that Ashley and Jillian join Granny in the living room as she and JoAnn cleaned the kitchen.
Ashley and Jillian sat on the couch while Granny sat in the rocker across from them. As soon as Granny sat down she began to rock gently as she sipped her tea.
Ashley spoke first, "I think that you ought to know that both Jillian and I are lesbian, I just want to let you know where part of our motivation is coming from."
"But we also want to try and expose a wrong that was done to someone that while we don't know, we believe was a good person and didn't deserve what happened to her." Jillian added.
"And you need to know that I believe that homosexuality is a sin," Granny said looking them both in the eye. Ashley met her gaze as did Jillian though Ashley made sure that she showed Granny that she didn't hold that against her, just accepted that that was Granny's belief and it didn't make it true for her or Jillian.
"But I also believe that a wrong was done to a very nice lady who didn't deserve it." Granny said as her face softened and she seemed to smile a little.
"I do want to ask you something and I know it has nothing to do with why we're here asking for your help but I'd like to know all the same." Ashley said.
"Ask me anything child and if I don't think you need to know the answer, I'll tell you." Granny said with a smile.
"I do believe that you will," Jillian said and at first Ashley was sure that Jillian had said the wrong thing but then Granny let out a fun loving laugh.
"I believe that my Margret has been telling stories on me," Granny told them.
"Only one," Ashley said.
"Which one was that?" Granny asked.
Ashley hesitated but Jillian didn't, "She told us about her first experience with drinking and the cure you had for driving when she had drank."
Granny turned serious for a moment, "Well Margret acted like a child and I treated her like one, and I do believe that cured her of doing that again."
"I believe that it did," Ashley said with a smile.
"Now I believe that you were about to ask me why, if I'm so against homosexuality that I allow JoAnn and Margret to live together under my roof. Is that what you want to know?" Granny asked as she looked at Ashley.
"Yea, that's what I want to know," Ashley told her.
"Well since the day that Margret moved in here, we haven't agreed about very many things. She has fought with me from that first day and she's determined to do things her own way. I'll admit that she got that trait from her mother who got it from me. However the one thing that Margret and I will never disagree on is the love that is in our hearts. She is my grandchild and since I have had to raise her since she was a toddler, she is my child. And the moments when I want to kill her the most is also the moments when I love her the most. She has always been a very independent person and I wouldn't have her any other way. And while I don't agree with her lifestyle, she has shown me how much she loves JoAnn and I see JoAnn as one of my children now. Margret has also made this old woman realize that her love for JoAnn isn't a bad thing. And maybe I'm wrong about that it being a sin... love that she has can't be bad and comes from God, that I'm sure of." Granny told them and then she rocked back and let them think about her answer.
"I can see how much Maggie, I mean Margret loves you, of that I have no doubt." Jillian said.
"Oh you can call her Maggie, I know she likes that better, I just have to call her Margret because that is what her mother named her," Granny said.
"To you she is Margret and that's what you should call her, besides it is a good way to show who's boss," Ashley said with a laugh that made Granny laugh with her.
"Very true... but you came here to see if I can or will help you so let's get to it; that way my children can stop listening and start cleaning the kitchen like they're supposed to be doing." Granny said looking toward the kitchen where it had been quiet but now noises were being made.
"We are cleaning Granny," JoAnn said from the kitchen and then they heard Maggie telling her to be quiet.
"Why don't we just invite them in, I know they're just as interested in what you have to say as we are. Then Ashley and I will help them clean the kitchen." Jillian said to Granny but loud enough for Maggie and JoAnn to hear.
"Come on in girls and let's get this over with," Granny said to them and in a flash, Maggie and JoAnn was sitting with them on the couch with Maggie by Jillian and JoAnn on Ashley's side.
"Before we start, it's established that whatever Granny tells you will be as unnamed source, no where will her name be printed or hinted at." Maggie stated.
"Hold on a second," Ashley said as she reached and got her purse and she saw Maggie looking at her. She pulled out a notepad and a recorder.
"Ask that question again please." Jillian said as Ashley turned on the recorder. Maggie did so as Granny looked on with interest.
"She will be treated as an undisclosed source or not mentioned at all if at all possible but either way her name or what she does will not be revealed, do you agree Ashley?" Jillian stated then asked.
"I agree, no one will ever know where we got our information," Ashley stated committing herself to protecting Granny's identity.
"Good, now go ahead," Maggie said satisfied.
"I think the best place to start is to ask you directly if the Athletic Director fired Coach Wilder because she was lesbian." Jillian asked.
"Yes he did and he has done several other things along those lines through the years, and I'm afraid that I agreed with him and thought that what he was doing was the right thing and the right thing for the university." Granny said calmly.
"But you no longer think that way?" Ashley asked.
"No I don't. I see now that what he and the men around him were doing was wrong both morally but also legally." Granny told them.
"Did the university president know what he was doing?" Jillian asked.
"Yes thought he made sure that he didn't actually authorize it, but he condoned it which was the same thing." Granny told them then she took a sip of her tea. Ashley could see that Granny was feeling the strain of what she was telling them. She could also see that Granny didn't want to say what she was saying as she was betraying her boss but she felt that she had to all the same.
"Getting back to Coach Wilder, was Donna Morgan used to get Coach Wilder fired?" Jillian was asked.
"Yes she was, I was there when she came to meet with the athletic director and his top two assistants. I didn't go into the meeting but I saw how nervous she was going into the office and I saw that when she came out there was this happy look on her face but I also saw that deep inside of her that she was troubled. I can see those things..." Granny told them all.
"I'm sure that you can, of that I have no doubt." Ashley said with a soft smile.
"What happen after the meeting?" Jillian said getting things back to business, which irritated Ashley a bit but then that was why they were there.
"He asked me to get Coach Wilder's contract and bring it to him. Then he told me to have her come in the next day for a meeting." Granny said.
"Were you in on that meeting?" Jillian asked.
"No, I was never in on any of the meetings, not even to take notes. However I did hear a lot of shouting during the short meeting most of it coming from Coach Wilder. And when she left, she was extremely angry and hurt." Granny told them somewhat sadly.
"The next day, the new swimming coach arrived and when he left, he had a new contract." Granny went on to say.
"It didn't take long to find a new coach; it sounds like he had already been chosen." Ashley stated.
"I'm sure that he was." Granny said.
"Do you have anything that can back up what you're telling us?" Jillian asked.
Then before Granny could answer, Ashley told her, "We believe you but if we had something to back up your claim, like a memo or an email, it would help us prove what had happened."
Granny rocked back and looked at Ashley and Jillian then she switched her eyes to her granddaughter Maggie, and that is where her eyes stayed for a moment, "I might be able to come up with something but I'm not sure that I can give it to you." Granny said softly.
"Granny you have to give it to them," Maggie pleaded.
"No she doesn't..." Ashley stated firmly, "this is something that she alone has to decide and we'll accept her decision. Granny, we won't pressure you to give us anything. That is your decision and yours alone to make."
"Thank you Ashley, I appreciate that." Granny said and Ashley saw that Maggie was dying to tell her grandmother to do it but Jillian put her hand on Maggie's arm and that seemed to restrain her from saying more.
"You mentioned that the athletic director also did other things, what did you mean by that?" Jillian asked.
"What I meant was that if any student athlete was being recruited and was found to be of a homosexual nature then either the offer was dropped or their recruitment was dropped." Granny told them.
"And if they were already there then what happened?" Ashley followed up wanting everything to be put on the record.
"Their scholarship was not renewed for the following year," Granny stated simply.
"How did this go on unnoticed?" Jillian asked.
"Because this is a small town and the town depends on the university for much of their revenue. And the local paper's editor is tight with the university and the athletic department. I just don't know why the students didn't protest." Maggie stated.
"Because they needed to find a new school to attend and they probably figured that suing their old university wasn't a good way to get on at another school," Ashley said and this she knew after speaking with so many student athletes.
"Well we're going to break this wide open," Jillian stated.
"No we're writing an article and let Professor Laurence take it from there. He's the one with the skill to break it open." Ashley told her.
She then saw Jillian frown at her at first but then she slowly smiled, "True, he's the one with the experience."
"But you girls should get the credit, not your professor," Granny said with a frown.
"But we will get the credit, at least as far as getting a good grade and also getting the experience that will help us long after we leave the university. But the main thing is that we correct a wrong that has been done," Ashley told her.
"And still is going on, that is what we want to stop." Jillian said.
Jillian then asked Granny several more questions with Ashley adding a few of her own. By the time that Maggie had decided that Granny had enough for the night, Ashley and Jillian knew that they really did have something but it was now up to Granny to decide if she could provide the proof. However with what they had now, Ashley felt sure that the D+ that Dr. Laurence had threatened them with was up to at least a B+. She wanted to get the SOB's at the athletic department but she also wanted to pass the damn class.
Then as Maggie got her Granny to bed and she talked to her for a while, Ashley and Jillian helped JoAnn to clean up the kitchen that had been left unattended. They talked and laughed as they got the kitchen put back together and spotless for Granny who liked things spic and span.
"So you got Granny tucked in," JoAnn said with a smile as Maggie came back into the kitchen about an hour later.
"You know she likes for us to have a talk before she can go to sleep," Maggie told JoAnn and thus explaining why she was gone for so long.
"So what did she have to say tonight?" JoAnn asked.
"She said that she liked our new friends and they appeared to be smart girls. She also insisted that I not let them drive home tonight. So you're stuck with us." Maggie said with a laugh.
"And we'd love for you to stay," JoAnn stated and then she grinned as she added, "We can have a little party."
"Well I packed us some clothes just in case we had to stay for the night." Ashley said.
"And we'd love to party a little," Jillian said giving Ashley a wink.
"Well come on down to our humble little apartment," Maggie said as she curled her index finger at them indicating for them to follow her. She then turned and headed out of the kitchen.
"Come on girls, it's time to party!" JoAnn said with a laugh as she jumped up from the kitchen chair and headed after Maggie.
Ashley looked at Jillian who was smiling then she too jumped up taking Ashley's hand and they headed after Maggie and JoAnn. Then found them by an open door in the corner of the living room just by the hallway. Maggie went down first with JoAnn close behind and they were giggling and laughing as they went. Jillian let Ashley go ahead of her and Ashley heard the door close as she went down the flight of stairs. When she got to the bottom, she saw that she was now in a small apartment, Maggie's and JoAnn's basement apartment. It was basically an open room with their bed to the right side and a small kitchen to the right. In the back she saw that there was a bathroom, which she needed to visit real soon.
Once they were all by the bar, Ashley said. "I need to borrow your bathroom for a moment."
"Sure just please remember to bring it back." Maggie said as she laughed at her bad joke.
"What you want to drink?" JoAnn asked her as Ashley headed toward the bathroom.
"What you got?" Ashley asked, now standing in the doorway of the bathroom.
"About anything you want," JoAnn told her showing the bottles in front of her.
"You wouldn't be able to make some Margaritas would you?" Ashley asked.
"Oh she makes the best Margaritas in the world!" Maggie said with a laugh.
"Then how about Margaritas for all of us," Jillian suggested as she joined Ashley at the bathroom door.
"On the way!" JoAnn said turning to the bar as Maggie went to the fridge.
When Ashley and Jillian came out of the bathroom, JoAnn was pouring the Margaritas into four wide rim glasses made for Margaritas. Ashley and Jillian came over taking their Margaritas from JoAnn.
"How about a toast to start the evening off right?" Maggie suggested.
"Okay what we toasting to?" Ashley asked as she eyed her Margarita wondering if JoAnn made them strong or weak.
"How about Gay Rights, that's what brought us all together?" Maggie asked.
"That's not every romantic," JoAnn told her showing the romantic that made up her soul.
"How about this, 'To the day that anyone can marry whom they chose, the one that brings love to their heart.'" Ashley stated.
"I like that one," JoAnn said smiling at Ashley and giving her a wink.
Maggie raised up her cup and they all followed suit and she started the toast with them all saying it along with her, then they took a sip of their Margaritas. Ashley then went up to her toes giving Jillian a kiss as Maggie and JoAnn exchanged a kiss.
"This is good, how did you learn to make Margaritas?" Ashley asked as she liked that they weren't too strong.
"One of my ex's was a bartender and she showed me how to make them as well as several other fancy drinks." JoAnn stated.
"That was about the only thing that she did good for you," Maggie said and Ashley could see that Maggie hated JoAnn's ex with a passion.
"She wasn't that bad," JoAnn said in her ex's defense.
"Well she shouldn't have dumped you like she did; it took me a long time to get you to finally realize that I wasn't going to dump you like she did." Maggie spat out.
"You know if she hadn't dumped me then I wouldn't be here now." JoAnn said.
"True and of that I'm thankful for," Maggie said.
"Well enough about ex's, let's talk about something else," JoAnn told them.
"Okay, you told us about how you two got together, how long was it before you started to live here JoAnn?" Jillian asked.
"Well I didn't start living here right away, I knew how Granny felt about lesbians so we kind of waited until she accepted me first and besides I wanted to take it slow with Maggie." JoAnn said.
"How did you get her to accept you?" Ashley asked curious about that as it might help them gain Granny's confidence.
"Oh yes, please do tell them that..." Maggie said with a sigh.
"I'm sorry did I hit a sore point?" Jillian asked but Ashley saw that she didn't withdraw her question like a good reporter wouldn't.
"Yes you did but since you asked, why don't you tell them JoAnn." Maggie said with a bit of anger in her voice which made JoAnn frown.
"So what happened Maggie, you tell us what happened," Jillian told Maggie taking control of the situation that was becoming a bit tense.
"We had been dating for a couple of months and JoAnn was spending more time with me, mostly without Granny knowing but a lot of times she came in the front door as we both wanted Granny to like her as much as I did. But then came the day that she took Granny's side over mine." Maggie said with a bit of hurt in her voice.
"Well granny was right and you were wrong," JoAnn stated.
"That's immaterial; you shouldn't have taken her side in front of me." Maggie stated then she took a long sip of her Margarita. "But at least you did win her over, that was something, she liked you then because of that."
"What was the argument over?" Jillian pressed.
"I was thinking of changing my major from journalism to woman studies and Granny was saying that I couldn't get a job with that major. And I called her an old bitty that was stuck in the last century." Maggie said but she had a sad look on her face remembering what she had said.
"And that pissed me off, Maggie calling her grandmother an old bitty so I let her have it. I was pissed that she would even think of calling her grandmother that much less say it. I got in her face and told her to apologize or I was walking out the door and she sure as hell wouldn't ever see me again. I was pissed at her." JoAnn stated as she gave Maggie a look that said that it was still a sore point for her too and Maggie was the one to look away.
"Anyway after that, Granny loved JoAnn and she was in like flint with her." Maggie said getting in the last word or so she thought.
"You know your grandmother didn't accept JoAnn because JoAnn took her side," Ashley told Maggie.
"It wasn't then why? Now that you know my grandmother so well," Maggie spat back at her.
"I don't know your grandmother that well but I do know my paternal grandmother very well. I spent a few summers with her and I learned a lot about my father but also my mother. Your grandmother accepted JoAnn for the same reason that my grandmother finally accepted my mother, even though my mother dropped out of high school and came from a family that was even poorer than my father's family. She wanted a girl smarter and better to look after my father, whom she knew needed a strong woman behind him. Your grandmother accepted JoAnn because she was willing to stand up to you and wasn't going to let anyone, including you, walk over her. My mother had to prove herself to my grandmother and so did JoAnn. Now my father swears that his mother loves my mother more than she loves him." Ashley said with a smile.
Ashley watched Maggie as she tried to come up with a retort but was having trouble doing so as she thought about what Ashley had told her. However it was JoAnn who came to her rescue.
"I want to dance, put something good on and come dance with me Maggie," JoAnn said as she put her Margarita down and she went to the center of the room.
"Won't your grandmother hear the music?" Ashley asked not wanting to bother their source.
"Oh no we fixed that problem," JoAnn said pointing to the ceiling.
Ashley and Jillian both looked up to see that the ceiling looked a little different than any other that they had seen. "It's soundproofing material," JoAnn explained.
"Yea Granny didn't want to hear us any more than we wanted her to hear us so we all went in together and found this material and JoAnn and I put it up." Maggie said.
"Yea and it took us a month and lots of soreness but we got it done." JoAnn told them.
"Does it work?" Jillian asked still looking up at the funny looking material.
"To good, we had to put in call boxes so that Granny could get a hold of us and we her." Maggie told them.
"Can she turn it on and hear us?" Jillian asked.
"No she can call us but she can't hear us unless we push the button," JoAnn told them
"However what she doesn't know is that we had them fixed so that we can hear her anytime we want." Maggie said with a smile.
"Sometimes Maggie worries about her so she had the guy that sold them to us, fix it that way. That way when Granny acts like she isn't feeling well, Maggie's mothering instincts can be satisfied." JoAnn told them with a smile.
"It's not like we spy on her but I do worry sometimes, I can't help it," Maggie said in her defense.
"Well I think it's sweet," Ashley said as she went over to where Maggie was standing and gave her a hug.
"You know I'm still in a dancing mood and I don't hear any music yet," JoAnn said as Ashley stepped back over to Jillian.
Maggie retorted with, "She's a dancing fool... to bad she can't dance worth shit." Then Maggie let out a big laugh before going to the stereo and changing over to something that had a beat that they could dance to. Then she turned it up a little but not anywhere near enough to rattle the house.
"I'm a great dancer!" JoAnn shot back at Maggie who just laughed louder.
"Well Ashley and Jillian are about to find out who's telling the truth about that." Maggie said.
JoAnn danced her way over to where Ashley and Jillian was standing, taking their Margaritas from them and putting them down on the bar. She then took their hands and pulled them to the center of the floor. Jillian immediately started to dance while Ashley hesitated for a second. Ashley always felt self-conscious about dancing in front of people but after seeing JoAnn dance, she didn't feel so self-conscious as Maggie was right, JoAnn seemed to make up moves as she went along but she had a big smile on her face. She really did love to dance and didn't care what it looked like.
Jillian grabbed Ashley's hands in hers giving her a reassuring a smile that gave Ashley the confidence to start her own dancing. Maggie quickly joined in and they all began to dance with each other. Ashley found that she would be dancing in front of Jillian only to be turned around and find she was now dancing with Maggie. And so they all dance with each other however when a slow song came on, Ashley danced with Jillian and Maggie danced with JoAnn but when another slow song followed that one, JoAnn decided that they should switch partners and so Ashley ended up dancing with JoAnn with Maggie dancing with Jillian. There was a bit of jealously that rose up within Ashley but when Jillian gave her a smile, she felt better as she felt JoAnn's body against hers. It felt nice but not as nice as Jillian's body.
After dancing for a while, they stopped to drink another Margarita and got started on a third before heading out onto the dance floor that was the center of the room. They all were feeling the effects of the Margaritas and then Maggie put on a CD of soft sensual music. Ashley felt her inhibitions slip away as Jillian moved up against her and their bodies rubbed together as they danced slowly. Ashley noticed that Maggie and JoAnn were dancing much the same way. JoAnn's right leg was between Maggie's legs and they were rubbing against each other. Their lips came together and they kissed. Ashley felt her pussy start to get moist as she felt Jillian's left leg slip between her legs and she felt Jillian kiss her. It was all that she could do not to moan. She felt Jillian's hand go from her back to her ass and then back to her back making her pussy get a wee bit wetter. Her own hands were not idle as they caressed Jillian's back going to those ass cheeks that she loved.
When that song ended, she felt herself being pulled away from Jillian and being pulled in against JoAnn. She felt JoAnn's body press up against her and she felt JoAnn's hands on her back holding her close as she felt JoAnn's right leg go between her legs and she felt the soft pressure against her aroused pussy. She looked over at Jillian who was dancing with Maggie in much the same way. She again felt a moment's pang of jealously flow through her body and she wanted to pull away from JoAnn and go knock the shit out of Maggie, however before she could do so she made eye contact with Jillian who gave her another soft smile. It was a smile that told Ashley where Jillian's loyalties lie and that were with her. Ashley felt immediately better as she knew that Jillian's feelings for her were unchanged.
She turned her head back to JoAnn and let her hold her close and her body began to respond again. She felt JoAnn's hands go down to her ass pulling her in close and causing JoAnn's thigh to exert more pressure on her pussy and the friction was doing wonders to her engorged clit. Ashley moved her hands down to JoAnn's ass and she pulled her in getting JoAnn to let out a little moan. Things were definitely heating up in the room and for Ashley, through the fog of the Margaritas; she wondered just where things were going and just what she and Jillian had gotten themselves into. However she had to admit that she was feeling good and she just had to go with the flow and depend on Jillian to guide things in the right way.
When the song ended, they changed dancing partners once again and she was now dancing with Maggie. Ashley let Maggie pull her in tight against her body. Her leg didn't go between her legs which she was grateful as she felt like any more friction on her pussy and clit would make her cum. However Maggie's hands roamed her lower back and then her ass. They rubbed up against each other and she felt Maggie's lips on her neck, kissing her lightly but she made no attempt to actually kiss her lips, staying at her neck going from one side then switching to the other side. This felt very erotic to her and kept her motors running. Maggie got her to the point where she needed a kiss, needed a kiss badly. She pulled back from Maggie and she tried to give her a soft smile. Maggie smiled back as she let Ashley go.
Ashley went over to where JoAnn and Jillian were dancing and she tapped JoAnn on the shoulder. JoAnn grinned as she let Jillian go allowing Ashley to pull Jillian into her arms. "I need a kiss..." Ashley said softly to her girlfriend.
"Then I had better give you one..." Jillian said just as softly before she reached up taking Ashley's glasses from her eyes. These she handed to JoAnn before she pulled Ashley back in and gave her the kiss she so desperately needed. Ashley opened her lips allowing Jillian's tongue to enter her mouth. Their tongues touched as their lips pressed together. The kiss was what she so needed and she felt one with Jillian as she always did when they kissed so passionately.
Just as the kiss was ending, she heard in the back of her mind JoAnn saying, "You know we got a bed if you'd like to get a bit more intimate."
"I don't think they can get any more intimate," Maggie quickly added.
Ashley pushed back from Jillian's arms blushing from head to toe. "I'm sorry," She said wanting to hide under the bed and not lay on it.
"Oh honey, it's cool, we were just teasing you." JoAnn told her with a smile.
"Besides we might need to use the bed here in just a second," Maggie said as she grabbed JoAnn pulling her in close and giving her a nice long and very passionate kiss.
Ashley could feel her body beginning to get aroused again as she watched Maggie kiss JoAnn so passionately. Watching another couple kiss like this was something that she had never really done up close. Usually if she was around when someone was kissing, she was one of the kissers. But watching them kiss and watching their hands caress each other's backs were getting to her. She felt like a bit of a voyeur but she couldn't pull her eyes away and she saw Jillian watching just as closely as Jillian held onto her waist.
"Looks like they're getting into that kiss," Jillian whispered into her ear and then she pulled Ashley back to her giving her another kiss, a softer, slower kiss but one that just added to her arousal.
"Damn it's getting hot in here," Ashley said with a smile as Jillian eased her grip when the kiss ended.
"Well take off that damn sweater, we're all girls here." Maggie said.
"Yea dancing with you all and Maggie's kiss has made me hot too," JoAnn said then she reached down pulling her tee shirt up and off leaving her in a pretty white lace bra where the cups were sheer enough to just make out her nipples that appeared to be very hard.
"Yea, it's cool." Maggie said doing the same thing revealing a black bra that matched her black tee shirt.
The Margaritas had enough of an effect to take away most of her inhibitions but not all of them. "I can't... errr we can't" Ashley stuttered out.
"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you, we can put our shirts back on if you like, I just thought that after the dancing that we were all doing that you were..." JoAnn said as she started to reach down for her shirt.
"It's not that, I'm cool about you all seeing me in my bra and panties it's just that..." Ashley said then she looked at Jillian with a frown while Jillian had this shiteating grin on her face.
"You see, she's not wearing any panties or a bra," Jillian told them still grinning which made Ashley blush more.
"And whose fault of that?" Ashley said giving Jillian a mean look.
"Hey I had to do something to loosen you up, if it was up to you, we'd both probably been wearing chastity belts to meet Maggie's Granny." Jillian told Ashley but more so telling Maggie and JoAnn.
"Jillian!" Ashley said as she hit her arm, "I'm not that closed minded!"
"I don't know girls," Jillian said to Maggie and JoAnn, "She did go to the bathroom before we left... maybe she did put on a chastity belt and a bra... maybe we ought to check..." Jillian then started to reach for Ashley's skirt.
"Oh no you don't!" Ashley yelled as she jumped back.
"Come on girls, I think we need to check to be sure..." Jillian said as she stepped forward while Ashley took another step back.
"I'm going to kill you!" Ashley said taking another step back.
"What do you think girls; want to find out what Ashley has under her sweater and skirt?" Jillian said motioning for JoAnn and Maggie to join her.
"Oh definitely," Maggie said with a big grin stepping forward.
"Jillian you don't want to do this!" Ashley warned taking another step back as Jillian, Maggie, and JoAnn stepped forward.
"Oh yes we do!" Maggie said with a little laugh.
Ashley turned and saw the stairs, though they were a tad bit blurry since her glasses were now on the bar where JoAnn had put them. She headed for the stairs but just before she got there, she found that JoAnn had cut her off making her go around and then under them.
"I'm going to kill you all!" Ashley said as she found that she was trapped under the stairs with Maggie and JoAnn on one side blocking her escape and Jillian on the other side.
Ashley faked going toward Maggie and JoAnn and then went running past Jillian who made a grasp at her but missing on purpose. "Missed me!" Ashley said with a squeal. She then ran back into the center of the room.
Ashley tried to focus as best she could at the three figures in front of her. She saw that Jillian was coming toward her from her right side. Maggie took up the center position, with JoAnn on her left. Ashley saw that she really didn't have anywhere to really get away, the stairs were the only exit that she saw were blocked. So with every step forward her capturers made, she took a step back with her eyes going from one to the other. She saw them looking at each other and she could see that they were devising a plan but she didn't know what it was. She quickly figured out what was happening as she found that they were maneuvering her to her right. Jillian and Maggie were now coming from her sides and JoAnn was coming directly at her. Ashley kept going backwards until she felt something hitting the back of her legs, she glanced back to discover that they had backed her up against the large bed. Ashley knew she was completely trapped so she slipped off her shoes climbing up onto the bed.
"It you pussies think you can get me, come on forward!" Ashley challenged them all.
"Oh we can and will," Jillian told her.
"Yea right... well come on big girl," Ashley said with bravado that the Margaritas were giving her and also the fact that her state of arousal was beginning to peak.
"I am," Jillian said as she got to the left side of the bed.
"So am I," Maggie said from right side of the bed.
"And so am I!" JoAnn said from the bottom of the bed.
Ashley was completely trapped with the wall at the head of the bed and a girl at each side and end of the bed. "You may have me trapped but you haven't got me yet!" Ashley said with serious expression but then she had to giggle.
Jillian was the first to reach for her legs but she kicked at her not hitting Jillian's arms but got close enough for Jillian to jerk her hands away. Maggie then grabbed her right arm but Ashley was able to twist away going toward the end of the bed as Maggie hadn't gripped her as tightly as she could have. That told Ashley that if she really wanted to get away, she could, but she knew that already. She then felt JoAnn's hands on her hips trying to pull her down on the bed but Ashley was just able to regain her footing and she twisted away from her.
"Oh no you don't, none of you can get me, I'm the queen of the bed!" Ashley said as she laughed and twirled on the bed but she only did that once as she felt a bit dizzy. That was when she felt Jillian's hands on her waist steadying her and then releasing her.
"Three girls and none can bring me down!" Ashley said with a laugh.
"Oh I believe that she just issued a real challenge,"" Jillian said.
"Oh she definitely did!' Maggie said.
"I think her reign as Queen of the Bed is about to end!" JoAnn said with a laugh.
"You three are all talk and no action!" Ashley said laughing as she went toward each in turn before slapping at their hands and then jumping out of their grasp.
"Let's get her girls!' Jillian cried and then Ashley shrieked as she felt Jillian grab her right hand and Maggie her left. Then she felt JoAnn grab her ankles and that was then she felt her feet come out from under her. She screamed as she felt herself falling and when she opened her eyes she saw them all climbing up on the bed.
"Who's Queen of the Bed now?" Jillian asked her.
"Me?" Ashley said then she giggled.
"Yea, you are," Jillian said with a smile, and then she leaned over and gave her a light kiss. Jillian still had her right arm in her grasp as Maggie had her left and JoAnn was sitting on her lower legs.
"Do you want to continue?" Jillian whispered in her ear but still loud enough for Maggie and JoAnn to hear.
Ashley knew what Jillian was asking her and what a positive response would mean. "Do you want to?" Ashley asked.
