The Professor and Sean - Part 9

i

Early that evening, I left Sean with my Mom and Dad, promising him that I would not be gone more than an hour. He was tentative with his approval, but my Mom soon had him laughing and he relented.

I left the hospital with Rog and Greg. I was shaking slightly, not with fear, but with anticipation of my reaction when I again saw the place where Sean had been so badly beaten. Hopefully, I prayed, the blood with be gone. We had not even started to the townhouse door, when the Emma and George Whitehouse were running toward us.

"Ryan, we are so relieved to hear that Sean is going to be okay. We can't tell you how upset this has made not only us but all of the owners in the association. There are loads of suggestions being considered, including a full time guard at a gate. People who live here are up in arms. They don't want anything like this to occur here again. We want to help you just as soon as you let us know what to do."

"I will never be able to thank you for helping me that awful night. I really appreciate it." I told this wonderful couple.

We walked to the door of my townhouse. The door had been repaired. Rog unlocked the door, stepped in, and turned on the entry light. I just stood there. My mind told me to move, but my body wouldn't respond. Finally, Greg, gently pushed me into the entry way. Suddenly all the horror of that night came rushing back and I froze.

"I can't go any further; it's too awful. I just can't. I can't" I said as I tried to keep from exploding in sobs.

Rog was by my side as was Greg. "Look, Ryan, two of your best friends are here to support you. If you need to let go of all the emotion and grief that has built up in you, let it go. You were brave and strong for Sean. He's not here, so if you must let go, realize that we are here for you. You have to do this Ryan; if you don't, how will you ever be able to bring Sean back here. Can you even imagine how he will react to his home if you can't handle it." said Rog in a firm but understanding voice.

"I'm okay. Let's go in."

In the living room, the walls had been painted over to obscure the obscenities. Everything had been more or less picked up. Broken furniture, computers, everything seemed to be in piles. I wandered to the kitchen. The appliances were a total loss, broken dishes and other glassware had been collected in boxes. I took a deep breath. I turned and walked down the hall to our bedroom.

It was a total disaster area. My clothes were collected in piles on the broken bed. The dresser and chest were in ruins. I took another deep breath. I couldn't move.

"Rog, I don't know if I can go in Sean's study. I don't know what will happen. That's where I found him, so battered and bloody. I thought he was dead. I don't think I can do it." I said.

"Ryan, you really have to go in. This will be your last hurdle. If you want to be able to help Sean over his fear of this room, you have to get rid of yours. Greg and I are with you. Trust us, please." Rog assured me.

I moved down the hall a few steps, and stood before the broken door to Sean's room. Rog went ahead of me to put on a lamp. Greg supported me. I walked slowly into the room. It had been picked up, but the bloody carpeting was still there. I began to shake violently. Greg and Rog held me tightly. Then the dam burst, and I was sobbing uncontrollably. I didn't realize how loud I was until Rog urged me to try to get myself together. I couldn't stop. All I could see was dear Sean lying there in a puddle of blood, pale and curled in the fetal position. I could see his battered face in my lap, the blood all over his face, his badly bruised face and arms. Rog and Greg just held me tightly. They said nothing, but it was obvious that these two grown men we weeping with me. My sobbing slowly subsided, and I gained control of myself.

"The carpet, the carpet, it has to go. It has to go. I want everything in this room changed. I want everything in the entire townhouse changed, everything. Do you hear me, do you understand, everything. My Mom with help with my clothes, and she can help you decide what to keep of Sean's, but as far as I am concerned, I want everything else out of here and replaced. I don't care what it costs. Just get it done." I practically shouted at them.

"Ok, Ryan, we'll take care of everything. Just get a hold of yourself. You have to get ready to return to Sean. We can't go into the bathroom to wash you face with cold water because the water is turned off. Everything is ruined in there, too. We have to get your eyes to be less red. We'll take care of it at the hospital. Sean is going to know that this was very emotional for you. I think you should not try to hide it from him." said Rog. Greg agreed.

We left the townhouse shortly after. The ride back to the hospital was uneventful. I had doubts about what my reaction would be when I saw Sean again. I told myself over and over, "Be strong. Be strong." Rog and Greg made sure I put cold water on my eyes in one of the hospital bathrooms.

When I got to Sean's room, there was laughter streaming out the door. Sean had become the center of attention for my Mom and Dad. A strong bond had been established between the three of them. I imagined I was the glue. I had figured that out correctly.

"Boy, Ry, do I have the scoop on you. Your Mom and Dad have told me stuff about you that I can use for favors, blackmail, everything." said a laughing Sean.

My parents were enjoying it immensely, too. I figured I might just as well join them and so I started laughing. Sean motioned me to him. He pulled me down and gave me a special kiss. I willed down my woodie. I thought my Mom wouldn't appreciate that.

"Sean, we have enjoyed being with you." said my Mom.

My Dad concurred. Dad said it was time for the old folks to get to bed. I told Sean I would walk them to the elevator. I related to them my difficulties at the house. Mom patted me and said she could understand. Dad hugged me tightly. I told them how wonderful Rog and Greg had been. The two of them had to get back to the townhouse to start work. I asked Mom to take care of the clothes, both mine and Sean's. I asked her to be sure to save one thing of Sean's if she could find it. A t-shirt with the caption "Ry's My Guy". She assured me not to worry. They boarded the elevator. I felt strangely alone after they left.

As soon as I entered the room, I felt better. Sean was smiling at me. I wondered what I should tell him about the townhouse. I didn't have to guess if he wanted to know.

"How did it go, Ry. Was it terrible? Ry, I have been thinking about it. It is going to be really difficult for me to return there. How did it go?" asked an anxious Sean.

"It wasn't easy, baby, so many memories came flooding back. I had a very difficult time, but I managed. Look, baby, if you don't want to return to the townhouse, I'll sell it and we can find another place. We don't have to return there. I want you to tell me what you want to do. Please be as honest as you can, Sean."

"I want to go back. I have to go back. So many wonderful things happened to us there, how could I not want to go back. And yet, I am frightened of what I will have to deal with. I need to tell you what happened, but I don't know when I will be able to tell you. Some of the things are still confused in my head. Some details are vivid, others are foggy, almost dreamlike."

I took Sean in my arms, and softly stroked his hair as I talked to him.

"Baby, you don't need to tell me anything until you are sure that's what you want to do. In fact, Sean, I don't know if I will be able to handle what happened to you. As terrible as it for you to remember, it will be equally awful for me to hear of the terrible things they did to the most important person in my life."

Sean pulled away from me, and looked into my eyes. I saw in his eyes some fear, but essentially they showed love.

"I think I need to tell you now. I can't keep this in me forever. If I want to regain my life, the life I want to get back to. If I will ever be able to make love with you again, I need to get this monkey off my back. It is going to be awful for you to hear and for me to say. It might be wise to let the charge nurse know because you may need some assistance with me. I might just go a little crazy, but I have to tell you so that I can get rid of as much of it as I can."

"Sean, wait. I want to talk with the charge nurse. I'll be right back." I hurried out of the room. Thank god the charge nurse was Nick. I told him what Sean wanted to do, and I asked if it might in anyway cause him to go into a coma again. Nick was concerned, but said he did not believe that would happen. But to be safe, he called Dr. Lewis and discussed it with him. He then told me that Dr. Lewis thought it could be helpful for Sean to get rid of some of the terror that must be preoccupying his mind. To be completely comfortable, Nick called Gene his partner and asked his opinion. He agreed with Dr. Lewis and he told Nick what to give Sean if he got emotionally out of control. It would be best, he thought, for only me and Sean to be in the room.

With that knowledge, I returned to Sean's room.

"I wanted to check to see if this was an okay thing for you to do. Two doctors think it might help with your recovery. So if you want to tell me about that afternoon, you can. I will simply wait for you to tell me when you feel like it. Okay, baby?"

"Yeh, okay. Just one thing, Ry, please hold my hand and stay close to me. I know that in telling you I will experience all the fear that I felt that afternoon. I know I won't have to feel the pain again, thank God."

I took Sean's hand and sat on the side of his bed. There was a long silence. I waited. Sean pulled me to him and gave me a special kiss. I returned it greedily. Then he started.

"Dr. Fillimore had been just wonderful. He stayed with me and gave me a number of pointers on a couple of my Chopin pieces. No one showed up to bother us. When my time was up, Dr. Fillimore told me to get my things together. He walked me to his car and drove me to the townhouse. I told him he didn't have to come to the door with me, but he wouldn't hear of it. He walked me to the door and waited until I got in and turned on the entry light. Then he told me to close and lock the door. And so I did. He called to me to have a good night and to say hello to you.

"I brought my stuff to the study, went to the bathroom, and then to the kitchen where I had some milk and cookies. I went to my room and put on some Chopin. I had some written work to do, so I booted up my laptop and went to the word processor and began work. The only sound was the music and the sound of my fingers on the keyboard. I kept hoping that you wouldn't be too late because I missed you. It had been a long day and I hadn't seen you since breakfast.

"I got really involved in my writing, but stopped once when I thought I heard a noise from the entry. I knew it was too early for you, so I assumed it was just a noise. Suddenly, two guys were in the room. My laptop went flying across the room and the bigger of the two punched me in the face and knocked me to the floor. Then he picked me up and put me in some type of hold; I thought he would break my arms. He was talking, calling you and me terrible things, but the younger guy, the one I had seen in the cafe, was destroying everything in my room. I begged him to stop: his answer was a violent slap across my face.

"His partner then called me a fucking cocksucker for the fag Dr. Taylor. He said he and his buddy would find out how good I was. I was still being held by him. He told his friend to get over and take his cock out so they could evaluate my cocksucking talents.

"Ry, I didn't want to do it, because I knew they would hurt me no matter what I did or didn't do. We had promised not to have sex with anyone else. They were hurting me so much that I tried to do what they wanted, but I just couldn't. I thought I would be vomit. The younger guy kicked me hard in the balls, and I fainted, I think. They were roaring now, telling me that the only good fag was a dead fag, first it would be me and then it would be my fag lover, the cocksucking professor Taylor.

"They began to hit and kick me, I tried to ask them to stop but they didn't listen. I took as much as I could, but I hoped that I might lose consciousness. When I finally fell to the floor they continued to kick me. They kicked me again in my balls; the younger one really took pleasure in kicking my thigh, but they also liked to kick my arms, my chest, everywhere. I thought I was going to die, so I prayed to God that he would take care of you, and I told God that if wanted me that I would go to Him, but I also told him I wanted to love you for a long lifetime." We were both sobbing almost out of control. Sean continued:

"I knew I couldn't take much more. But the older guy took care of that, he kicked me in the head, and I didn't have any more pain. There was just darkness and silence.

"The next thing I heard was Chopin music, but I couldn't get back to it. Oh God, Ry, then I heard your voice, it was a thousand miles away, but it was you. You were saying those lyrics and I wanted to get back to tell you that you were all the man I had wanted, that I loved you." Sean was totally out of control now. His sobs were enormous, and I tried as best I could to hold him, to tell him I loved him, but it was difficult not to sob. Between heartbreaking sobs, Sean continued.

"I moved my fingers and I thought you would feel it, but you didn't respond. I was ready to give up. But your voice was calling me back. I took all the energy and strength I had and used it to struggle back to tell you to kiss me. I saw light and you. Thank God, you kissed me because then I knew I was back."

We were both sobbing loudly now. There was no way for me to stop Sean's or my emotional outburst.

Sean was shaking so hard that I couldn't hold him and stop it. I was beginning to get scared because Sean seemed to be getting worse. It must have been very loud, because Nick came into the room. He came over to us and immediately told me to get off the bed. He then took a hypodermic needle, shot a little into the air, and then grabbed Sean's arm and gave him a shot. He talked in a soothing way to Sean, holding his hand until Sean was asleep.

"How you doing, dude? he asked me. Pretty intense I guess. He will be okay when he wakes up. It was good for him to get some of the pain out of his system. I bet he heals faster now. You were great to do this for him. It's another example of how much you love him. He is really a lucky guy." Nick said.

"It was the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life. To listen to him tell of that awful night and the terrible beating he took. He thought he was going to die. I can't imagine what that would be like. My God, Nick, he's just a young man, going to be 20 in a couple of weeks. He didn't deserve this. He just didn't deserve this." I said.

"Ryan, life is a strange thing. What happened is too terrible to even think about. But you know what, you two are closer now than you might ever had been. This tragedy has brought you together in a way only you two can understand. Those of us on the outside can only imagine what it has been like for you two. I know this, for sure, you two guys love each other at a level I don't think Gene and I have approached. I doubt Rog and Greg have reached that level either.

"You, dude, are one hell of a man; I'm proud to know you. And that guy in the bed, well, he is something else. I will never forget you guys after you leave here in a few days.

"Ryan, I want to remind you that Sean will have some bad dreams, but if he gets to a place where he won't go out, or he won't let you go out, then you had been get him some psychological care. It may never happen, but you should be forewarned. I have to go now. Sean will sleep for hours now, and if you want to take some advice from me, you should get some shut eye, too. Night!"

"Good night, Nick, and thank you for everything. You have been more than a great nurse, you have been a good friend." and I hugged him.

I turned off all the lights except the night light. I straightened the bed clothes. I kissed Sean's forehead. I took off the scrub top and bottom, and in Tim's bikini I climbed on to the cot, took Sean's hand, kissed it, lay down, and fell into a fitful sleep.

ii

I really slept soundly. I was awakened by Sean kissing my lips softly. As soon as I stirred, I got a special kiss from Sean and I returned it. He was kneeling beside the cot, smiling at me a little like the proverbial Cheshire cat.

"What are you doing out of the bed?" I asked.

"Well, it was either get up and go to the bathroom and pee the bed. I thought it better to go to the bathroom. I also wanted you to wake up to a major piece of beef cake, 'moi', just to get your blood circulating. Good morning, Ry." said a smiling, happy Sean.

I don't think I ever wanted Sean as much as I did at that moment, but I settled for a long passionate kiss. Sean's eyes had that sparkle back.

"Have I got a surprise for you, my handsome lover. Stand away. Close your eyes. That's my baby.

Now just wait a second." I said to Sean. I got out of bed, adjusted my borrowed bikini underwear, and struck a pose.

Then I told Sean, "Okay, baby, open your eyes. Tah-dum!"

"Awesome, awesome! You are one beautiful, sexy guy. WOW! Ry, that makes me want you so badly, and I know I can't right now. But I want a rain check, for a whole day of love making, do you understand?" said a demanding Sean.

I was laughing a little, but not as much as Tim who was standing in the doorway.

"Got to tell you Ryan, I never got that response when I wore those things."

We were all laughing, especially Sean. He would stop laughing a little every once in a while to tell us it hurt a little to belly laugh, but he also said it was wonderful to be able to laugh again.

"Well, how can we account for this?" asked a disbelieving Tim.

"Let me tell him, Ry. Please?" I shook my head yes.

"Ry helped me to deal with what happened to me the other night. It was awful to have to relive it. But it was great, because now I don't feel the same. It's like an enormous weight had been taken off my shoulders. No, more accurately that weight had been taken off my soul. How did this happen? The love of my life, Ry, helped me through it."

"I'm not surprised. You two are lucky guys. I've told Randy about you two and you know what, he wants to meet you. He has never cared about anyone else I have ever told him about, but you two - well, he wants to meet you. Do you mind.?"

"No, we're flattered that he would want to meet us." I told Tim.

"Hey, Sean, it's shower time. Now I can help you because we don't want you to fall, or if you would prefer, and I can't imagine why, you can have Ryan help you. It's your choice. So who will it be?" Tim asked.

"I think you are just wonderful, Tim, but I think, if you don't mind that I will choose, let me think, I know, Ryan Taylor. He may not want to do it, though. I haven't asked him." said a jovial Sean.

"If anyone else tries to help you with your shower while I am around, they will have to tangle with me. And boy, I can be a tough customer when it comes to protecting my guy." Everyone was laughing again.

"You'll find everything you need in the bathroom. Ring if you need my help. As if that's a possibility!" and he left. We went into the bathroom. I turned on the shower and adjusted the water.

I just looked at Sean for the longest time. I untied his johnny and removed it. My Adonis stood before me bruised but beautiful. I kissed him gently and he sighed. He reached to me and started to pull down my bikini. I finished it for him, kicking it away. My cock was hard and standing at attention. I was happy to see that Sean was sporting a woodie, too. I helped him into the shower and then climbed in after him. It was a tight fit, with barely enough room to turn around. But we didn't care as we were in each others arms, kissing deeply. Sean was stroking my cock and I wanted to touch him, too. I finally asked him.

"Sean, is it okay if I stroke you? I don't want to hurt you, baby. But my God, how I want you. I'll be happy to just hold you like this, so don't feel you have to go any further."

"Ry, all I dreamed about last night was you making love to me. I want you in me so much. But I am afraid what might happen when I cum. My balls are still so sore. And my body hurts all over. But I want to make you cum, Ry. I will get pleasure from making you happy." said a sad Sean.

"Forget sex, Sean. Let's just hold each other. But I want to kiss away the soreness of your body." I told Sean.

I began to lovingly kiss each bruise on Sean's body. He was excited by it because he didn't lose his hardon. I didn't know what to do when I got to his balls, which today were almost normal size, but still a little discolored. I licked them gently with my tongue. Sean jumped. I stopped. Sean pulled my face into his groin. His cock was bobbing in my face. I had to taste it. I took it into my hands and licked the head. Sean grabbed my head and pulled me closer. I didn't know what to do. I decided that if Sean wanted me to stop, he would tell me. I slipped my lips over his cock head, and slowly took his shaft into my mouth. I swallowed, and much to my surprise, Sean's cock slipped into my throat. Sean was on fire.

"Ry, you took me all. Ry, make me cum, baby. Make me remember how much pleasure you give me. Please, even if it hurts I want to fill you with my cum. Please, Ry, suck me, baby."

I never stopped ministering to my lover's gorgeous cock. I worked wonders with my tongue and throat, and I thought Sean was going to knock us out of the shower. Suddenly he was shaking so hard that I thought he might fall. I grabbed his ass cheeks and steadied him. I let one finger get to his tight anus and I pushed. My finger slid into him. I found his prostate and massaged it as I swallowed his cock. I pulled back as I felt his cock swell and suddenly he was filling me with cum, so much that I couldn't swallow fast enough to keep it all in me. Sean was groaning and crying aloud. I had been jacking my cock, too. And I had shot all over the shower floor. His cock slipped out my my mouth and I stood and kissed him sharing his cum with him. He was trembling.

"Sean, are you okay. Did it hurt. Baby, answer me." I demanded.

"I'll be okay. Give me a minute to get back to earth. You are so good at that, Ry. Wow! My balls hurt like hell, but it was worth some little pain. I wanted to suck you Ry, but you came all over my feet. Why didn't you save it for me, Ry?"

"Because I wanted to have my climax when you did and I did. Later I will hand in my chit. You will pay big time later, when we are back in our home and in our bed. Now let's get cleaned up before Tim is positive about what happened in here. If we don't waste too much time, he may suspect, but he will never know."

I washed Sean's entire body with loving care. Then I soaped up quickly, but Sean wanted his way with me, so he got a couple of fingers into me and promised that soon they would be replaced by something more pleasure giving. I dried Sean and then myself. I put Sean in a clean johnny, and slipped into a pair of clean boxers that Tim had left; they were undoubtedly Randy's. Back in the room, I helped Sean get comfortable in the chair. I covered him with a blanket and brushed his hair. We had brushed out teeth before leaving the bathroom. I then got into a pair of clean scrubs. Sean watched me all the time.

"You can be my nurse anytime you wish. I especially like the way you give a shower. Maybe later we can add some variations. Think about that you sexy man." Sean said. Breakfast arrived for the two of us. Sean's appetite was good. He needed some solid food. If only I could get him home and start feeding him good food.

The remaining days at the hospital passed quickly and fell into a sort of routine. I had only left Sean's side once, when I went to the townhouse. I walked with him, helped him in the shower, made sure he was comfortable. We talked about many things, some were important like Sean's letter. Some were fun like what we would do and who we would invite for out first dinner party.

There were visitors that surprised us a little. Fred Bentley, the dorm supervisor came to see Sean. He was a handsome guy and was obviously interested in Sean as more than as a friend. Watch out for him I warned myself.

Sue Beckman, the friend who had taken Sean to the convocation where he saw me and fell in love with me visited. Jerrod Williamson, one of the jocks in the scholarship dorm, was with Sue. Jerrod seemed enamored of Sean, too. I might have been jealous, but I knew how much Sean and I were committed.

Dave Foster and Tom Green came to visit us. They were great guys, funny, interesting, and loving.

They were interested in knowing how we felt about bookshelves and where would we put them in the townhouse. Jeff and Paul showed up the first full night Sean was in his private room. They asked about the townhouse by-laws - could they change the window type. I didn't know. I told them to check with the Whitehouse couple.

Randy, Tim's partner came to see us. He was just a couple of years older than Sean. They had a great time discussing music. He told us he had to come and see if we were real. Tim only said wonderful stuff about us. He told Sean he had to see Ryan for himself. According to Tim, he could do most anything, save walking on water. As he was leaving, he told us that Tim hadn't been glowing enough in his reports. He told me that we were an awesome couple. He hoped that he and Tim could be our friends, sometime getting together for dinner and a movie. We really like him. Tim was already a favorite along with Nick and Gene, and now Randy. We had also met Dave and Tom and Jeff and Paul, friends of Rog and Gre. Our circle of friends was expanding.

Cathy showed up very early in the week with a woman called Naomi Stephenson, a design instructor at the college. Naomi wanted to know which colors we liked and disliked. Were we happier with modern or traditional? Did we like leather, did a waterbed interest us? She showed Sean and me fabrics and asked us to react to them. We liked the same ones. When I couldn't stand it any longer, I asked Cathy what was going on. Not much she told me, just people who are interested in making the townhouse a place where we could return and be happy.

Sean and I decided to just let things be. I was alarmed that his birthday would be coming up a week from this coming Sunday.

I didn't think he was ready to return to classes, but he told me in firm terms that he was ready. I wasn't. I wanted to be with him all the time. But I had to get back to teaching. Dr. Williams and Cathy and the department had been so kind to us, I had to return and do my job.

We saw little of Rog or Greg that week. They would pop in for five minutes and would have some reason for leaving. We never asked why? We didn't think it would do us any good; they wouldn't tell us anything. My parents were also closed mouthed and only came once a day. They watched the clock stayed only an hour. When I asked why they were in such a hurry, I was told they were picking up and sorting things at the townhouse.

Rog and Greg continued to tell both of us that we were going to their place when Sean was released from the hospital. All the arrangements had been made. We were not to worry. We agreed that we couldn't fight the mighty Greg and the good humored Roger Fillimore.

Dr. Franklin came in to visit Sean every day. Even though it wasn't his case, Dr. Cassin stopped in to check on us daily. Nick went out of his way, as did Tim and Ian to make sure that Sean had everything he needed. I could see Sean gaining each day. He walked more. He wondered aloud if there might be a piano in the hospital, but there wasn't. How I wanted to tell him about the Steinway that was soon to be his. But I kept the secret.

On Friday morning eight days after the attack, all three of Sean's physicians came to visit. They took a close look at Sean who was babbling at them the whole time. Dr. Lewis came to me and told me that Sean was to be released that afternoon at 2PM. I just reached out and hugged him. He smiled and told us good luck. I saw Dr. Cassin give Sean a quick hug, and to my surprise so did Dr. Franklin. As they were leaving, Dr. Franklin spoke.

"You know, Ryan, Sean is a remarkable young man. Not only is he intelligent, but he is also mature beyond his years. I told him but I want to tell you, too. If he ever has a concert, please let us know because we would all love to come. Good luck to both of you. Nick will go over any special instructions. There aren't many. But, Ryan, follow the instructions carefully." And they were gone.

Sean was standing beside the bed. He reached out for me. I went to him and we were in each other's arms. He kissed me on the neck. I couldn't get him close enough to me.

"I am so happy to go home with you, Ry. I would like to be alone for a whole day with no interruptions. But I know we will have to be kind to Rog and Greg and Mom and Dad. They all have been so supportive of you, Ry. And I know that they had genuine concern for me. I will be a good boy and not attack you in front of them. I just hope that Rog's home is sound proof. Maybe we should wait until we get home before we get too rambunctious. Right now, I just want you to hold me." Sean said.

I continued to hold him tightly, then I moved my head so that I could kiss him: gently at first, and then will more passion. We both were breathless when we finished the kiss.

"Sean, don't worry. We have the rest of our lifetime to make love. Waiting a few days more to get home won't hurt us. It might make us pretty horny, though." I said as I laughed.

"Can you feel my power?" asked a smiling Sean. "My gun is loaded and ready to fire. All I need is you to pull the trigger."

"Well, for the immediate future I am not firing your gun. Read it and weep." I said as I handed him the list Dr. Lewis had given me.

"Oh, no, Ry. This can't be so. What does he mean no sex for the next week. My god, I'll have wet dreams. Shit, that makes me angry." he bitched.

"Think of it this way, Sean. Imagine how wonderful it will be when we can make love. It will be magnificent. We can wait, baby. It will be difficult, but together we can do it. We love each other." I told him.

"Okay, okay, you're right. I just am so horny." he laughed.

"You're horny? Imagine how I feel. I wasn't beaten up like you. I loved you all those days and never demanded sex from you. What happened once in the shower was a mistake on my part. How's this, baby, let's just let what ever happens, happen. We should try to avoid passionate sex, because we both want you to regain your strength and stamina. We'll manage." I told him and then I kissed him again.

Nick bounded into the room with some papers. "I am here to sign you out, Sean. But, hey, can't let you go out in a johnny and a bathrobe. That wouldn't do." he said.

"Nick, my parents should be along momentarily with some clothes for both of us. I don't think I should leave with these scrubs. Also, I will need my clothes and wallet, and what about what's left of Sean's things."

Producing a couple of bags, Nick told us, "No problem, have everything here. Some of it isn't worth much. Perhaps you should take a look at Sean's things, Ryan. I have to check some things, pulse, blood pressure, things like that. You can use the bathroom."

I went into the bathroom and opened the bag. The horror of that night came rushing back as I looked at the blood soaked clothes. I dumped out the stuff and found Sean's wallet, his watch, and some pocket change. I kept those things out. I put back the other clothes in the bag. I came out of the bathroom just as Nick was finishing his checkup.

"The stuff in the bag should be destroyed. Here, Sean, your wallet, watch and some change. The other clothes weren't worth keeping, Nick. Sean, you know that Mom is bringing us new clothes. Nick, does Sean check out okay?"

"He's fine man. Ready to go home. I'm going to miss you guys. I have really gotten to enjoy your company."

"Nick, you can always come and visit us. We would love to have you and Gene come to our home. It would be great fun." said Sean.

"I second the motion, Nick. I imagine that Gene has some time off. I know we can get together. I promise you we'll be in touch." I assured Nick

"Thanks guys. I have to get to other patients. After you are dressed, please ring. We need to take Sean to the car in a wheel chair, hospital policy. Take care." Nick hugged both of us and left.

"He's a super guy, Sean. We're lucky to have him for a friend."

Just then Mom and Dad, Rog and Greg came into the room.

"We're here to take you home Sean." said my Mom. She went to Sean and gave him a big hug and a kiss. Dad gave Sean a hug, too. They didn't leave me out; I got a hug and a kiss, too. Rog and Greg stood there holding clothes.

"Good to see you Mom and Dad." said Sean. My Mom and Dad stopped in their tracks. Mom started crying softly and Dad's eyes were watery.

"Oh, dear, dear Sean. Your calling us Mom and Dad is one of the nicest things that ever happened to us. We love you like we love Ryan. You are a second son. And we are proud of both of you and we love both of you." said my emotional Mom. Dad just shook his head 'yes' and I knew that it was because he was too emotional to speak.

"Hey guys, are you going to get dressed so we can get out of here?" asked Rog.

"Come on guys, we left the car running." said a laughing Greg.

"Sean you go in to bathroom and change and I will change out here. So folks, let's have the clothes and you wait outside for a couple of minutes."

We were handed the clothing and everyone left. Sean gave me a quick kiss and disappeared into the bathroom. Amazingly we had everything from underwear to sneakers and it was all new. The khakis were pressed and beautiful. I dressed quickly and then picked up the t-shirt. There was something on the front of it. I read it and couldn't believe what it said. Emblazoned on the front was 'Sean was born for Ry'. I got an enormous lump in my throat.

Sean came out of the bathroom. His outfit was the same as mine except he had on the t-shirt that he had bought that read 'Ry is my Guy'. We just looked at each other for a special moment and then we came together to have one of our special kisses.

"Come on in, guys." The four special people in our lives trooped in.

"Whose idea was my shirt? It's just wonderful and Sean loves it, too. So who's the guilty one." I asked.

"Actually it was a committee thing. All four of us, Cathy, Nick, Tim, Ian all made suggestions, and then as we were chatting about it, 'Sean was born for Ry' just happened." said a smiling and happy Rog.

"Thank you all. It's wonderful. Now, let's get going. Oh, I forgot." I pushed the nurse's call, and Nick came into the room almost immediately.

"Hey, like your shirt, Ryan. Here's your own wallet and watch. Your clothes are in the bag. Now, Sean, I know you won't like this but you have to ride to the car in a wheelchair." said Nick.

"Nick, I really like you, but I would use a pogo stick to get out of here." Sean said with a giggle. Everyone laughed.

With Sean in the wheelchair and Nick pushing, we left the room for the car and home. When we stopped for the elevator, my Mom summed it up for all of us.

"Thank God for good hospitals and competent doctors. We are taking home the result of that combination. We can never thank all of the people here enough for what they have done."

Nick added, "We did our part, but without the persistence of Ryan and his deep and abiding love for Sean, we wouldn't be here today as happy as we are."

I blushed. Everyone agreed with Nick, especially my love, Sean. The elevator opened and we all entered, We were on our way to to Rog and Greg's, a stop off, before we could move to our home. Sean was particularly quiet. I took his hand and squeezed it; he did the same to me. I smiled at him and his eyes were full of love, but I thought, no more than I hope my eyes showed my love to him.

I wondered what Monday on campus would be for both of us. But we could worry about that later.

The sun was shining brightly as we drove away.
