The Pilot part 8
The flight home to Columbus was bitter-sweet. Although Leo and Brady had promised to stay in touch, they both knew the reality of their new lives and schedules. Leo was no longer flying for his airline, so he was no longer a slave to the schedule that was given to him. But, as a new employee of Fuller Dixon and the low man on the totem pole, he would likely be stuck in the front office of a Challenger 650 for all of the trips none of the other pilots wanted to fly. And although Brady was no longer in the military, he was now an employee of a charter company operating a Challenger 605 that was based at Richmond International Airport in Virginia. The chances that both pilots would find windows in their scheduled that might allow them to get together looked nearly impossible.
As Leo waited to board the flight from Dallas/Ft. Worth to Columbus, he received a text from Tyler Williams from Fuller Dixon. The text read, "Congratulations on your new type rating. I was told you were outstanding! Can you come to Miami on Wednesday for your orientation? We will pick you up in the Challenger. Please advise."
Leo thought how strange it felt to have absolutely nothing on his schedule. He needed to pack his apartment for the relocation to Miami, but otherwise, there was nothing except a few odds and ends that he needed to take care of. He texted back to Tyler, "Wednesday works fine. What time and where at KCMH?"
Tyler responded as Leo took his seat on the commercial flight home. "10AM Signature."
When Leo turned his phone on again as the airplane parked at the gate in Columbus there was a text from Gene. "Just got an amended schedule. Looks like I'm stopping in Columbus on Wednesday to pick up one passenger back to Miami. :)"
The gleaming white Challenger touched down in Columbus at 9:40AM and taxiied to the terminal of Signature Aviation, a Fixed Base Operator located on the southern boundry of Columbus' John Glenn International Airport.. The plane had departed Flint, Michigan, at 8:30AM with five passengers, two pilots and one cabin attendant. Among the passengers was Robert Dixon, senior named partner for Fuller Dixon. The firm was preparing to argue an appeal before the Supreme Court when the court went into session in October. It was representing the NRDC in a case that became known as the Flint Water Crisis. Robert Dixon would be the primary attorney to argue on behalf of the NRDC.
It wasn't common for a flight of this type to employ the services of a cabin attendant. But, with a senior named partner of the law firm aboard, no expense was spared to ensure that all of the passengers received the highest possible level of service. Since Mr. Dixon was returning to Miami at the same time that newly hired pilot Leo Ward was scheduled for his orientation, it was a simple route change that would allow Leo a chance to fly as a passenger on the very aircraft he would be operating as one of its flight crew. The plane would only be on the ground for approximately 45 minutes.
Leo was sitting in the Signature lounge when a young woman came up to him and politely said, "Mr. Ward, I just received word that your flight just touched down. It should be at the gate and ready for you to board in approximately ten minutues."
Leo gathered his briefcase and roll-on and moved toward the large glass doors that opened onto the tarmac. A ramp agent wearing a dark blue shirt bearing the Signature logo approached him. "Mr. Ward, if I can take your bag, I'd be happy to stow it aboard the aircraft." Leo handed the agent his bag as his excitement started to build. He knew that the minute he walked through those doors and got on that plane, his new life would begin.
The Challenger turned off of the taxiway and made slow and graceful progress toward the terminal. At the last moment, the nose of the plane swung to the left and followed the direction of a ramp agent who was waving the plane into position in front of the FBO. Leo could hear the falling whine of the General Electric engines as they spooled down. The ramp crew scurried to connect both ground power and a ground air source. Wheel chocks were swiftly placed so that it was secure in its location. The agent standing with Leo then nodded to him and they both exited the terminal and walked toward the aircraft.
Leo stood for a moment and took in the sight of the magnificent machine. No matter how often he stood in front of a plane, the thrill of it never diminished and he fell in love with aviation all over again. The Bombardier Challenger was a beautiful sleek aircraft that really made a statement on the ramp. It suggested power and sophistication and left no question that the occupants were important enough to warrant a level of luxury that so few people could afford. In that moment, Leo looked up to the cockpit window and saw Gene's broad smile. He raised his hand in greeting as he pulled off his headphones.
Just then, the main entry door began to swing downward toward the tarmac surface. Standing at the top of the stair was a young hispanic man who looked no older than 25. He was short and very trim and wore a perfectly tailored navy blue jacket and dress pants. He descended the steps that were built into the interior of the lowered door and came toward Leo. "Good morning, Mr. Ward. It's a pleasure to meet you!" the young cabin attendant shouted over the roaring noise of the airport environment. A long sleek Learjet was taxiing past on the adjacent taxiway. The cabin attendant took Leo by the elbow and led him toward the Challenger.
As he climbed the stairs to board the airplane, he looked up to see Gene waiting for him at the entry. The two pilots hadn't seen each other for nearly six weeks. "Welcome aboard Challenger Six Five Zero Foxtrot Delta!" Gene shouted over the ambient noice of the airport. Gene extended his hand as Leo reached the top of the stairs and entered the plane. In a quiet voice in Leo's ear, Gene said, "So, I have to come all the way to Columbus to get my hands on you?" They both had a chuckle. "Leo, this is Manny, our stew for the flight."
"Right this way, Mr. Ward," Manny said. Once Leo was inside the aircraft, Gene pressed a button to raise the cabin door and Manny led him into the main cabin of the aircraft. Suddenly, all of the external noise was shut off and Leo could hear soft jazz being piped through the sound system of the plane.
A very distinguished man in his early sixties stood up from one of the reclining seats and came toward Leo. He was extremely tanned and wore a simple white dress shirt that was open at the collar. A gold Rolex was also noticeable under the cuff of his shirt. Otherwise, he wore no jewelry of any type. "Leo! Welcome aboard, and welcome to Fuller Dixon! I've heard a lot about you, son. Looking forward to having you up front, too. Manny, get Leo some coffee and a bagel or something." In those four short sentences, Robert Dixon asserted himself as the boss. He was generous, but clearly in full charge, and everyone around him had better do as they were told. It was a personal characteristic that had created his reputation in court, too. His charm and persuasiveness left no room for contradiction.
Manny busied himself in the small galley at the front of the main cabin. He quickly prepared a beautiful tray that held a porcelin breakfast service with coffee, a small pitcher of half-and-half, a toasted bagel on a large plate with a freshly sliced tomato and a ramakin of cream cheese to the side. Everthing was tastefully monogramed with the Fuller Dixon logo. "Mr. Ward, please let me show you to your seat," Manny said as he balanced the breakfast tray in his left hand and proceeded down the center aisle of the Challenger to the back of the aircraft. Manny motioned toward an empty seat that was one of a pair at the back of the plane.
Seated across the aisle on a long banquet was a young man in his mid-30s. He was concentrating on a yellow legal pad of notes until Leo sat down. He looked up quickly and appeared slight surprised. "Oh, hello. I'm Jordan. You must be the new pilot." He held out his hand and Leo shook with him.
"Yes, I'm Leo Ward." The young man scanned Leo from his shoes to his haircut and gave a quick smile before quickly returning to his notes. As Leo sat at the back of the plane, he finally had a moment to take in the detail of the aircraft's interior. While the aircraft that he and the other trainees had checked out in Dallas was indeed beautifully appointed, the Fuller Dixon Challenger seemed to be of an entirely different class and caliber of finishes.
There was seating for 11 passengers in the main cabin. Toward the front, there were four reclining seats that that were arranged in two rows that faced other; each row had two seats, one on each side. These seats, however, could swivel to allow the four passengers to face each other in a square. Robert Dixon prefered sitting in this section of the cabin.
On the starboard side of the plane, and behind the four swivelling seats, was a banquet that could accomodate three passengers for takeoff and landing, but could, in fact, seat as many as five. This would allow for a larger conversation group in the rear of the plane. The banquet was also capable of converting into a flat bed. Across from the banquet on the port side of the plane were another four seats that were arranged in two facing rows of two seats each. Leo was seated in one of these; on the aisle facing forward.
The seats were covered in a tan Italian leather that was extremely soft to the touch. All of the trim of the interior was of a burlwood maple and the fixtures were likely gold plated. At each seat there were controls for personal ventilation and temperature. There were pullout tables between all of the seats that could be used for dining, or for working. There were also controls that would summon assistance from the cockpit or from a cabin attendant, and adjust the inflight entertainment system.
The entire effect was of opulance and supreme luxury. The Challenger was also of a size where a full grown man could stand upright in the middle of the cabin. It was one of the widest and tallest of the mid-sized business jets, but it was reputed to also be the fastest with a top speed of Mach .85.
Leo took it all in. Inside he was smiling that there would be no more screaming babies, or passengers wedged into seats that were far to small for the average person, or nosey cabin crews. This was a different world.
After takeoff, Manny reappeared to make sure that everyone was comfortable. He refilled several coffee cups and used a pair of tongs to place delicate pastries on porcelein plates. Robert Dixon was holding forth in the front of the cabin and was engaged in a spirited exchange with a woman and two other men in business suits.
"So, I guess you'll be moving to Miami," Jordan said from his place across the aisle.
"Yes, at the end of the month. I still need to find a place, though," replied Leo.
"Miami can be tricky," said Jordan. He reached across and handed Leo a business card. "If you find yourself needing a place to crash until you find something, give me a call." Jordan's face remained entirely without expression as Leo met his eyes. Then Jordan quickly looked away and back towards his work.
"Are you an lawyer with the firm?" Leo asked after a few minutes.
"Me? No, I'm just a paralegal. I work in Mr. Dixon's office. I take notes during their meetings and come up with action lists. When we get back to the office, I set to work setting up depositions, arranging meetings or gathering supporting documentation. Most of the time I'm at the computer doing research on Westlaw. Mr. Dixon is a fiend for precedent cases."
This time, Leo studied Jordan. He appeared to be about 5ft. 9, and was very wirey. Leo guessed he couldn't have weighed more than 145 pounds. His light brown hair was very thick and combed back off of his forehead. It looked unlikely that he would have been able to grow much of a beard. He wore heavy glasses that definitely gave him a geeky vibe.
Leo could feel the Challenger level off at cruise. There was a monitor on the port forward bulkhead that indicated the plane was at 41,000 ft and was covering the ground at 518 miles per hour. They were already over the western edge of Virginia.
"Jordan!" shouted Robert Dixon.
Jordan quickly rose from the banquet and moved to stand next to Robert Dixon's seat. Leo could finally see the rest of Jordan's body and we was instantly struck by how muscular and round Jordan's ass was under his dress pants. It was also very clear that Jordan wore briefs; the line of each leg opening was clearly visible under the fabric that stretched across his firm cheeks. Jordan wrote furiously on his legal pad as Robert rattled off action items. Then, Jordan turned back towards his seat and Leo couldn't help but smirk at the way Jordan's package pushed out the front of the dress slacks.
Manny walked from the front of the plane and bent to whisper to Leo, "The pilot would like to know if you would care to visit the flight deck."
Leo stood from his seat and he couldn't help notice Jordan held his head down but followed Leo with his eyes. In the back of his mind he was amused and thought, "Brady would love that kid!"
Leo followed Manny to the front of the plane. When they reached the galley, Manny stopped and let Leo pass. Leo opened the folding panel that concealed the cockpit and stood at the foot of the central pedestal. Gene was sitting in the left seat and turned as the cockpit door opened. "Hey! There you are! You getting comfortable back there?" Gene laughed.
"Yeah, nice ride, guys!" Leo chuckled.
"Leo, I want you to meet Nick Whitlaw. Nick's been with the firm for, what, about three years?" Gene said.
"Hey there, Leo," said Nick as he reached back with his right hand. "Yeah, it's been just over three years. Welcome to the team."
"Thanks! I'm really looking forward to this. Something new," said Leo.
"You've been flying a line gig, right?" asked Nick.
"Yep. Seven years. Mostly in an Embraer," answered Leo.
"Hey, how was the rating course?" Gene asked. "I heard you had Pierre." There was a distinct double meaning in the way Gene said that. Leo looked and saw Gene wink.
"I did have Pierre!" returned Leo with an equal double intention. "He can really.. uh... keep you busy." Gene laughed as Leo said that.
"Well, we're gonna keep you busy as soon as you get your butt to Miami," Gene said. "I'll give you a lift over to the office, then you can shoot me a text when you are finished with Tyler."
Leo backed out of the cockpit and returned to his seat at the back of the cabin. Jordan watched him coming down the aisle with the same expressionless face, but his eyes were clearly fixed on Leo's thighs and crotch. As he sat down, Leo adjusted himself and gave a subtle squeeze to ther front of his pants. Jordan quickly looked away and seemed flustered. He squirmed a bit in his seat. Leo, however, was finding this very amusing. For the rest of the flight, he leaned back in his seat and sat with his knees open.
The Challenger touched down smoothly at Opa Locka airport and taxiied to the ramp area next to the hangar where the Challenger would spend it's ground time in Miami. Leo remained at the back of the airplane as the legal team exited. As Jordan stood and gathered his things, he turned to Leo and said, "So, maybe I'll see you around. And don't forget, if you need a place to crash while you are setting up your living arrangements, just give me a call."
"Thanks, man. Even if I find a place quickly, I might still give you a call." Leo winked at Jordan as he headed for the open door at the front of the aircraft. Manny saw the exchange from the front of the plane and smirked at Jordan as he descended the airstairs to the tarmac.
Once all of the passengers had cleared the plane, Manny noticably relaxed and headed towards Leo and the rear of the aircraft. "Whew! I always get so nervous when Mr. Dixon is on the plane." Suddenly, Manny no longer had a sophisticated and refined speech pattern. He was full-on flaming. "And honey, you had that poor boy drooling back there. Mmmm..Hmmm..!"
The pilots had finished their shut down of the aircraft and emerged from the cockpit. Maybe he was just imagining it, but it looked like Gene had a semi-erection in his khaki pants. He smiled at Leo and held back as Nick made his way off of the plane. "Man, it was all I could do to keep from coming back here to suck your cock," Gene growled. "What time are you meeting Tyler?" he asked.
"I'm supposed to meet him at his office at 1:00."
"Hmm... we just have enough time," Gene said as he pressed a button and raised the main entry door of the plane. Then, he turned to Leo and unfastened his belt and opened his pants. He wasn't wearing underwear and his cock swung out and pointed at Leo. Leo took Gene's hand and led him back into the cabin and pushed him down into one of the swivelling passenger seats.
Leo had missed Gene's beautiful cock and he took his time licking up and down its length. His hands cupped Gene's balls and Gene let out a moan of pleasure. "Mmmm... man have I missed this!" Leo said as he took Gene's cock into his mouth and laid it on his tongue.
"Yeah baby, suck my cock!" Gene purred as his head fell back into the seat.
Leo took Gene's dick deep into his mouth and bobbed up and down with the perfect amount of suction. His tongue stroked the underside of Gene's shaft. It didn't take long until Gene said, "Oh yeah, now... I'm gonna cum." Leo felt his mouth become flooded with the warmth of Gene's cum and he started to swallow as quickly as he could. Some of Gene's juice escaped onto the side of Leo's mouth. "Fuck baby, that was incredible," Gene said as he straighten up in the passenger seat. "I'll take care of you later tonight after you're done at the office. We can chill by the pool and take care of your needs," Gene said in a sultry voice.
The two pilots stood and were suddenly surprised to see Manny standing at the back of the airplane inside the doorway that led to the lavatory and baggage compartment. Manny had his cock in his hand and had obviously been watching Leo suck Gene's cock. "Ungg... Uh...," he moaned as he squirted his cum into his cupped hand.
"Woops, I thought we were alone," Gene whispered. He and Leo watched as Manny licked the cum from his hand and stuffed his cock back inside his pants.
"Mmmm... thanks, fellas. That was just what I needed. And Leo, honey, you're gonna fit in real good!" Manny sashayed to the main entry door and lowered it to the tarmac. He smiled back at Gene and Leo. "Mmm Hmm.. Papi tiene un juguete nuevo."
...to be continued.
