The Human Bearer
"Give the boy to me," Xeus said and offered one arm without waiting for an answer.
Riordan was familiar with his daddy-in-law's abrupt manner, but still he didn't want their visit to see Xana to end so soon. "Can we stay for a little while longer?" he pleaded, no matter how out of character such a thing was for him.
"We will leave the two of you alone," Xeus informed him as he already turned on his heel with Junior draped over one shoulder. "Ferix will show you how to get inside. You learned what needed to be learned."
Xeus didn't appear keen on using speech, Riordan suddenly realize. There was the usual oddity here and there, yet now he appeared more clipped than usual. What gave? He shook his head, as the realization dawned on him.
"Can I get inside? For real?"
Xeus didn't answer, but Ferix emerged from his storage room and gestured at him to follow. They moved around the huge tank in which Xana was healing, while the green eyes followed them.
You can't come in here.
Just watch me, babe. I have a little surprise for you.
Riordan hoped he did understand what Xeus meant by him having learned what needed to be learned and didn't die stupidly while kissing Xana after so much time spent apart. He steadied his breathing, feeling his pulse moving at a lower rhythm.
"Wait," he whispered as Ferix gestured for him to get through a tube connected with the large tank through the back. "He should have given me some of the air from his lungs or something, right?"
Ferix gave him a thoughtful look.
Riordan made a face. "Don't tell me I have to kiss you. You're a boy!"
His distress couldn't have gone unnoticed by Xana, who smacked one hand against the glass on his side and stared at them with severe eyes.
Ferix shrugged. "You don't have to kiss me. You already know how to breathe underwater, General Lei tells me." Then, the young doctor looked away as he held the small hatch open for Riordan to sneak through. "You might want to leave your clothes here. They can prevent you from moving freely."
Riordan nodded and quickly shed the robe he was wearing. He only stole a quick look at the good doc. If he hadn't know any better, he would have sworn that the young Xeno was fighting hard the temptation to stare. He decided to move quickly and avoid any embarrassing situations. He climbed into the tube and began crawling on his elbows and knees as there wasn't room for anything else. Then he heard Ferix closing the hatch behind him, leaving him in complete darkness. There was no other way but forward, so he continued to crawl. Soon, he was at the end of the tube, hitting his head against something hard.
"Hmm, knock, knock?" he said, the joke mostly for his sake.
Another hatch lifted in front of him and he was pulled inside quickly. He didn't have much time to react as Xana pressed him into a strong embrace and made their mouths fuse together. Riordan no longer cared how good he was at breathing underwater. Xana's mouth was giving him life, and that was all that mattered.
Their bodies were so slippery that they soon engaged into a dance of their own, moving roud and round, until Xana's muscular tail steadied them. They were floating in the middle of the tank, lost in the sweet sensation of being reunited.
How?
Your dad showed me a few tricks.
Xana didn't ask anything else. He took Riordan's mouth, tasting it, devouring it. Yes, each of them had a different type of seth, Riordan noticed as his eyes fluttered shut. Xana's was full of spice and sweetness. He had craved it for so long that he took it upon himself to press against his lover's chest and get his fill from the kiss, too.
Xana's tail had found its way home already and was now pressing against Riordan's ass. Damn, he had wanted it so much. It was so good it no longer felt quite real. The seth didn't dilute in water, it seemed, and that was a smidge of mercy because Riordan wanted all that tail to penetrate him now.
This wasn't the addiction to seth at work. This wasn't about not having a choice. It was all about loving his alien husband like he had never loved anyone before. Xana was coming back to him, and Marn would soon forget all about pairing him with who knew how many other Xenos. The thought filled him with happiness, just as Xana's tail began moving in and out of him, preparing him for the second penetration.
He didn't have to wait. Xana was just as eager as he was. The large alien cock joined the playful tail, forcing Riordan open. His mouth remained glued to Xana's, and it was all for the better, because the chances that he might end up screaming his pleasure until the sturdy glass of the tank cracked weren't slim at all.
I missed you so much, Xana. Please, don't ever leave me alone like this.
I will never leave you, Riordan. You are mine completely.
His cock brushed against the smooth scales covering Xana's lower abdomen. He humped against the slippery surface, feeling his mind wrapped in pure pleasure. Too bad he couldn't drink straight from his husband's tail, that he couldn't stuff his mouth with his cock and take him deep until there was no end and beginning to either of them.
The force of such desires should have scared him, but he was no longer scared. Xana was his haven, his shelter from everything bad. And even if his system flooded by endorphins now probably fooled itself, Riordan had it in him, for once in his life, to abandon the armor of cinism that had kept him safe as a survivor born and raised on the dirtiest backstreets of Earth.
Riordan, I want you so much. You'll have my egg again, won't you?
He was asking. Riordan wrapped his legs around Xana, urging him to fuck him harder and faster.
Not just one. All that you have. All that you'll ever have. Fill me with your eggs.
It was easier to communicate like this. Unfiltered, too. Xana's strength of desire moved through him like a tsunami.
I will hold you down and keep you to your promise, Riordan. I will wrap myself around your belly and put all my children inside you. That is how much I love you.
Riordan gasped as he felt his belly bloating. He couldn't help it, either. His entire body rubbed against Xana, while both his husband's tail and long cock hammered his ass, sending ripples of pleasure through his spine, making him crazy with wanting to come.
He looked down at his own body, his eyes hazy. His belly was so big now. Could he hold more than one egg at the time, like Lewis? Could Xana put more than one at once inside him? A hunger for being filled even more than this was growing inside him like a wild creature.
Xana grabbed him by the hair and pulled his head back. His teeth were sharp against Riordan's taut throat but only hovered.
I want to drink you whole, Riordan, that's how much I want you.
Have me, the whole of me.
The bite stung, but it came mixed with pleasure. His mind exploded, and his body shook as his cock began shooting, his balls drawing up as if they were trying to come through, as well. Riordan moaned inside his mind, the sounds mingling with Xana's whispers of love. There was no more left in him. He floated down to the bottom, while Xana held him.
The green eyes were clearer, more luminous underwater. Riordan tried to open his mouth, forgetting himself for a moment. Xana stopped him in time with a kiss. A kiss that didn't seem to end. They had no need to breathe, not regular air, so that was fine. They could just stay like that for a while.
So, since when are you a vampire?
What is a vampire?
A creature of the night that drinks blood.
Why is he drinking blood?
To survive.
So vampire is an Earthian word for someone in love.
Xeno logic. Riordan didn't contradict Xana. He just moved his hands through the blond hair floating around them, long and silky like luscious algae.
You are beautiful like one.
Xana seemed pleased with the praise. He was smiling, and his face looked young and serene like always.
Can you come home now?
Soon, my love, soon. Give me another kiss. I believe that touching your mouth, tasting you, gives me new life.
I don't mind coming here, to get you your daily dose of fucking. I know I need it.
Xana didn't reply but continued to smile at him. Slowly, he moved one hand to press down on Riordan's inflated belly, helping it get back to its usual shape. Riordan fought a sudden need to stop him. He liked feeling so full, so wanted.
It took him some time to realize that he hadn't struggled breathing underwater for a while now. Whatever Xeus had done to him was working. He was now a fish. Or, at least partially, he was like his beloved husband and his son. But why hadn't Xana taught him that? So many things he had yet to find out.
Xana turned his head and frowned slightly. Then, he wrapped his tail around Riordan's body as if to hide his nudity from others. From the other side of the glass, the young doctor was watching them.
No, that wasn't exactly so. He was only watching Xana, and they were most likely exchanging thoughts like usual. Xana wasn't happy, which could only mean that their little encounter was bound to have an end.
I will ask your father to allow me to come again.
It seemed that Xana was the only Xeno he could directly initiate a conversation with. That was one aspect he could ask Ferix about, once their lessons began. At least, he wanted to be able to communicate with Junior and Xeus when he needed to tell them something. Although, his young one preferred speech to telepathic communication despite it being more difficult for him. Junior liked to be challenged. Riordan wanted to tell Xana about the boy, too, now that their mad desire between them had soothed for a bit.
There is no need for you to come again, as I will return soon.
Tell me Ferix doesn't keep you here because he can't give up on having a patient around.
Xana smiled. As always, you like to joke about serious things.
Is your condition still serious? Riordan felt the usual pang of anxiety twisting his insides again.
No, I am in good health now.
To stop his worries, Xana kissed him again while guiding him gently towards the exit tube.
"How come my skin and hair get dry so fast here?" Riordan asked Ferix as he was quick to put back his robe. "It's like I almost don't need towels at all." He talked quickly because he could tell the young doctor was embarrassed. How exactly he could tell that and how he could be sure it wasn't his imagination, was a matter that needed further exploration. Apparently, it happened to him lately; he just felt more... attuned to the way these aliens reacted to various situations. Was that the good influence of daddy-in-law? Or was it something else?
"Tu'lek is designed to ensure conditions similar to our planet, but because of the presence of human bearers, further modifications were applied before deciding that it was fit for travel," Ferix explained. His eyes moved over Riordan's body, up and down, although there was nothing to see now as most of the skin was covered by the coarse fabric.
"Interesting. Is there some particular reason why you're inspecting me so keenly?" Riordan asked eventually, hoping that he had asked the question without embarrassing the young Xeno more than necessary.
To his surprise, Ferix turned quickly. "No," came the clipped answer.
Riordan shrugged. "I get it that you're not the same doctor in charge of the human bearers, in case there's ever a need for something like that."
"But I will be if there is a need," Ferix explained. "There are no other doctors onboard. And all my notions about Earthian bodies are purely theoretical. This bothers me."
Ah, so the nerd was concerned that his only knowledge came from books. However, since he was a doctor, such concerns were pretty much legit. "Ask Marn, I mean His Royal Chancellor, to allow you to observe the human body closely. After all, you're a doctor."
"Yes, I am a doctor," Ferix replied, still sounding pretty pissed. "But I am also deemed too young to be exposed to such temptations. I have earned my coat, and it should go without saying that I can rein in whatever strange desires human bodies are bound to trigger in me. I have no such issues."
Oh, boy, this was a tough one, Riordan thought and winced. However, if Ferix was the only doctor on the ship, he needed to learn how to treat a human in the event of any unusual accidents. Because of the seth, most probably, no one would get hurt to such an extent that they had to see a doctor, but still.
Or was Ferix a shrewd little punk and wanted to get his hands on a human? Not because of strange desires, but because his curiosity as a scientist was probably too tickled by the notion of exploring a different type of body.
Yeah, that was probably it. Still, it was a thorny issue, and Riordan didn't want to get involved.
"Do you think you could speak to His Excellency on my behalf?"
"Hmm," Riordan mumbled. Did everyone on this ship believe now that he was getting special treatment from the big kahuna? "Did you talk to him about it?"
"Yes, and he believes that I might not be able to resist. I am sure I can control my impulses just fine."
"Well, word on the street is that Earthians are highly compatible with your kind," Riordan joked, while choosing his words carefully. "So, you might fall in love, who knows?"
This time, Ferix did look at him. "In love?" he asked, like it was the most preposterous thing to say. "All I love is my duty," he added, holding his chin high.
They were in front of a different door than the one leading to the storage room, and Riordan realized that it had to be some sort of waiting area where Xeus and Junior were.
"Okay, I'll try to put in a word the next time he asks for me to tell me what I've done wrong lately," he said. "But don't get your hopes high. I really think His Excellency only does whatever the hell he wants."
"Of course. He is our supreme ruler," Ferix explained as if Riordan had any need for that. "And he lends his ear to you."
"I tend to believe that's a bit of an exaggeration. You know, a bit." Riordan winked at Ferix, to let him know that he didn't have to take everything so seriously all the time.
To his surprise, Ferix's eyes grew wide and then averted them. Riordan shook his head. He had no idea how to deal with this. Maybe he could ask Xeus about what kind of sex education teenage Xenos received. Maybe there was a lack of it. That would explain some things, such as how Tasha's punk ass lover Xer behaved, along with his friends.
He snorted. As if Earthians received that much of it. The way Earth had looked when he had seen it last, no one seemed to care about educating young people in any shape or form, and that even without talking about sex and what happened to their bodies. He had grown up on the streets, and his were street smarts, but he had witnessed the overall decay, the number of those living like leaves in the wind only growing.
He shook his head. Earth was, most likely, light-years away, as they say. Was there a map of the universe he could see and put a finger on it? This is where I come from? There was no point in thinking of that. The only way was forward. For him, and the Xeno race as a whole.
"I would be grateful if you tried talking to him on my behalf," Ferix replied eventually and opened the door.
Xeus and Junior were frolicking in a water tank among the many lining the walls on three sides. Why were those there? Riordan had a mind to ask Ferix, but it seemed like he didn't have to.
"Yes, as you can see. I have studied for most of my life and I have no patients," Ferix said.
So, the young doctor was bored. That explained a lot of things. Did Xenos train many doctors? Because of their natural self-healing and seth, they didn't exactly need them. Another mystery to add to the pile.
Junior immediately noticed him and swam to the surface. "Dada!"
Riordan hurried to take him into his arms, as the boy held his arms stretched. Junior wrapped his tail around Riordan's waist for support and hiked himself up. "Daddy was sad," he said.
"What? Why?" That was news to him.
Junior ignored him, his young mind easily distracted. Mostly because Xeus got out, too and took Riordan by the shoulders. It was an incredibly affectionate gesture on the older Xeno's part, so naturally, Riordan jolted at the touch. Maybe he could ask Xeus what Junior meant by that. No, not what Junior meant, because he was a kid and surely didn't understand adults very well. But it was possible that Xeus was attuned to his son's feelings to some degree and could shed some light on the matter.
"Shall we go back now?" Xeus asked, remarkably courteous.
"Yes," Riordan replied.
Ferix leaned his head into a short bow. "General Lei, Riordan."
"See you soon," Riordan said. "Junior, wave goodbye to the good doc."
If it hadn't been for the new worry taking shape in his mind at Junior's words about Xana, he would have laughed at how stunned both Xeus and Ferix looked while taking in the Xenolite waving and smiling happily.
