"John Hillsgrove, what the hell are you talking about? WHO do you think you're talking to? I'm your wife and the mother of your children. We've been together for how many years and you are suddenly someone different. I don't even know who you are."
Part of him was breaking inside, this was not how this was supposed to be. This was something that was his and his alone to deal with. His burden, no one else's. "La, this is just..."
"John, don't you dare... don't let some patient come between us."
Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, John ran through his options. There was only one way he could see out of this that wouldn't ruin his marriage. At the same time, this could destroy his entire family. The way he saw it she was going to find out the truth whether he told her or she found it for herself eventually.
"Fine, I will explain everything to you, but I need you to wait until we get back from Canada. I promise I will make it all clear. Please, La, just trust me until then."

- Part 27 * * *
-
Edward hated to admit it, but the flight wasn't the same without Dustin there. Teddy hadn't been himself in the weeks after Dustin's revelations. Ted hadn't been able to find a replacement that he liked, but Edward wondered if he had even really tried. Devon had been a savior on this trip by baking cookies, but it wasn't the same. Ted had been on the phone almost non-stop since they took off from Halifax. Edward had been talking to Devon about Dustin regularly over the past weeks and they had made a great deal of progress for them both. He stood and walked to where Devon was sitting.
"How are you holding up?"
"Good, it's just strange to be flying without him being here."
Nodding his head, Edward agreed. "Yeah, it's just not the same."
"Are you going to talk to him about it?"
"Yeah, I just have to find the right time. I'll do it before we get back to London, don't worry."
Devon looked away and then turned back towards Edward, "So, are you excited?"
Edward laughed, "More than you'd think and also unbelievably nervous too."
"Why nervous?"
"I'm not sure. Would you believe it if I told you I had a bad feeling about this trip?"
Devon was sure he had a strange look on his face, "What do you mean?"
"Can't put my finger on it, just feel strange." Edward then smiled, "Don't get me wrong, I'm excited as all get, to marry him. Just something else... probably just being silly."
"Silly about what babe?" Teddy sat down next to Edward.
"Nothing, finally done on the phone?"
Rolling his eyes and shaking his head, Teddy wasn't thrilled. "I doubt it. Seems like everything is happening at once." Teddy then looked over to where a sleeping Harry was reclined in one of the leather seats. "If only I could do that."
Edward snickered, "You want to do Harry?"
"We already did that last week when you had night duty. Didn't you notice him walking funny?" Harry smiled as he said it, without opening his eyes. "Oops, or was that supposed to be our secret?"
A pillow being thrown at his head was Edward's only answer.
For his part, Teddy acted shocked, "Umm, yeah, you weren't supposed to tell him."
Edward did a double take looking between the two of them, before Ted and Harry broke out laughing.
Ted moved over and sat on Edward's lap, "Baby, you know you're the only man I want. Not to mention, the only one I can handle."
Their laughter was interrupted by Jake. "Gentlemen and Lady, we're preparing to land in Calgary. I just spoke with the second aircraft and they're approximately 30 minutes behind us. The weather in Calgary is a balmy six degrees, skies are clear with a broken ceiling at 10,000 feet. We should be on the ground in about 25 minutes." Jake didn't sound too thrilled with the weather. He was not one who enjoyed the cold.
Edward looked at his watch, "They're making good time too." He smiled at the thought of his family traveling to the wedding onboard a private jet. Something he would have never would have been able to do before he met Teddy.
"John, Laura, and the boys should already be there. They were going to fly in yesterday."
"Have you talked to them much lately?" Edward was still holding Ted's hand as he moved and sat next to him on the couch.
Ted's face changed, "No, not really." He thought about it for a minute, "It's kinda strange. They've both seemed stressed and distant lately."
"I'm sure it's just the pregnancy."
"You're probably right." Ted was hoping that was all it was.
A short while later the Embraer touched down in Calgary. When the front door opened, the cold wind blew into the cabin. Stepping onto the stairs, Teddy felt the chill. Pulling his coat tighter, he wished Banff was somewhere tropical.
"Holy fuck, it's cold." Harry had just stepped onto the stairs. "You have to be kidding me. I don't remember it being this cold. The two of you couldn't pick a place a little warmer... like Siberia? Why couldn't you just have the damn wedding on Bora Bora?"
"You aren't kidding." Edward was behind him on the stairs, "If you'd move a little faster we could get in the fucking car though."
Teddy turned around and smiled, "Okay, children."
Vladimir was the first one down and was standing at the bottom of the steps, "This is warmer than Siberia, what are you talking about?"
As Devon was taking his step onto the pavement he slipped, Vladimir grabbed him before he hit the ground and practically lifted him off of his feet. As he set Devon back down, he smiled. "Careful, wouldn't want you to fall and bust your ass."
Harry leaned towards Edward's ear, "No, I think he wants to do that himself."
Ted overheard it and started to say something, but then got to thinking. All these years he'd never seen Vladimir with a woman, but then again he'd never seen him with a man either. This would be something he'd have to think about.
"Thank you, Vlad. That would have been painful." Devon smiled wide at Vladimir and then took Bess's hand and helped her down the final steps onto the pavement.
Vlad?' Teddy's wheels were now in full motion. Damn, they do spend a lot of time together these days. I wonder.'
"This place is freaking amazing. It looks like it stepped right out of a fairy tale." Teddy was practically sitting on Edward's lap trying to see more of the hotel.
Edward moved his hand and placed it gently on Teddy's back, "You're right, babe. This looks like the perfect place for us to get married. I'm so happy you wanted it here."
"What until you guys see the inside. It's just as incredible as the outside." Harry was happy for his friends and a little jealous. Knowing he would never be able to marry in this setting, he was happy to be a part of this wedding.
When the car came to a stop, the guys piled out and headed inside as quickly as possible. Walking into the lobby they all stopped dead in their tracks.
"You really weren't kidding, were you?" Devon was looking at Harry.
"Told ya."
Walking further into the lobby, they were met by Stephanie. She hugged Ted as she smiled, "Hello, gentlemen."
"Steph, it's great to see you. Everything taken care of I'm guessing."
She laughed, "Of course, I have keys for all of you." She handed envelopes to the guys and smiled even wider as she handed Harry's to him. "I'll arrange for all the luggage to get up to your rooms, why don't you all go on up."
"Thank you very much." Harry said it and winked at Stephanie, who instantly seemed to have forgotten she could speak.
"Oh my god, stop doing that to every woman we run into, would you." Ted was laughing as he said it. "Steph, I'm sure you know who this is. Harry, this is my assistant Stephanie. Now, stop using your magic powers over women and gay men, before I show you a real queen." He winked as he said it.
Harry burst out laughing, "Just remember, you said it, not me."
Harry's statement made Edward explode with laughter, which just made Ted laugh harder than he already was.
Making it to their suite, Ted could tell there was something wrong with Edward. "Babe, are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah."
"You don't seem like you're okay, you seem like you're a million miles away."
Edward nodded his head, "Okay, I want to talk to you about something and I don't want you to get mad at me."
This was a first and Ted could honestly say he was surprised by the statement and he just sat down. "Go ahead."
"I want to talk to you about Dustin."
"I don... Okay, babe, go ahead." Ted just shut his mouth and took a deep breath.
Edward sat on the side of the bed and faced his partner, "So, I have been talking to Devon about this and we both want to petition on his behalf for his job."
To say he was speechless would have been an understatement. Ted couldn't think of anything to say. "Why?"
"Look, I still want to beat the snot out of him, but... He's family, baby, and we don't throw away family. I know he stole from the company and that he hurt Devon, but no matter what... he's still family."
Ted sat quietly for what seemed like forever to him. He'd been having this same conversation with himself over and over. "I know. I think it's the same reason I haven't filled his position, part of me doesn't want him to go anywhere."
"So, what do we do?"
"A large part of it depends on what he does and how his rehab goes. If he gets a clean bill of health and he agrees to more stringent drug testing, I think we can give it another shot."
Edward almost leapt to his feet, "That's great babe."
Overlooking the grounds and the lake beyond, Teddy was standing next to Laura while John and Edward were off looking for drinks. This was the first time in days Teddy and Laura had been alone. Ted couldn't get over the fact that John wasn't leaving his wife's side since they arrived. It was as if he was purposely keeping an eye on her. "Is everything okay? You haven't seemed yourself lately. Is something wrong, because you and John are acting strange?"
Laura looked at Teddy and didn't say anything at first. "Oh honey, I don't want to..." Her voice sounded as if she was going to start crying.
Teddy pulled her into a hug, "What's wrong? I know something is wrong, tell me."
"John, he's... I don't know... It all has to do with some patient."
"La, I've never seen you this upset about anything. Talk to me."
She looked at him again, and nodded. "Okay, but let's walk, the pregnant girl needs some exercise. Plus, I don't need him coming back and hearing us talking about this."
They started to walk along the hallway towards the lobby. "There's something going on with John. I got a call a few weeks ago from a colleague and old friend. She told me John was overmedicating a patient into a comatose state."
Teddy had to stop walking, "What? That's not like him."
"I know. So when I asked him about it, he basically told me to mind my own business."
"That's really not like him." Teddy was hearing of a side of his cousin he never knew existed. "Have you done any digging?"
"A little, but I haven't been able to find anything out really. I'm going to go to the hospital and see this patient face to face when we get home." They walked a little further, both of them lost in their thoughts, "Teddy, let me ask you something."
"Of course, La."
"Is there someone in the family that John is treating? Maybe something he's trying to keep quiet?"
"No, not that I know of. Why do you ask that?"
"The guy's name is Anthony Jackson."
Teddy stopped, "Jackson? Now, what are the chances of that?"
"What do you mean?"
Teddy shook his head and shrugged his shoulders, "No one in the family I know of named Anthony." Ted was thinking how much he missed Viktor and how easy it would be to find out. He thought of asking Vladimir to look into it, but he wasn't always as subtle as his father.
"Maybe I'm just being crazy, but something strange is going on."
"La, you aren't being crazy. We both know your husband, and this isn't like him. I could always talk to him about it."
"No, he can't know we're talking about this. I get the distinct feeling that me talking to you would send him into a rage. I think that's why he hasn't left us alone since you got here. I can't put my finger on it, but..."
"There they are." John's voice came from behind them. "Where are you two off to?"
Teddy quietly spoke to Laura, "We'll talk more about this later." He turned and looked back at John and Edward, "The fat girl needed to walk."
Laura hit Teddy in the arm. "Excuse me."
"Oh, my bad, pregnant." Teddy smiled and reached his hand for his drink Edward was carrying. "I'm glad you found us, I need a good drink."
"I don't' know how good they are, the bartender didn't listen about how to make it the right way for you." Edward winked at Teddy, and then noticed the look on his partner's face. "You okay, babe?"
Ted nodded slowly, "Yeah." Then he squeezed Edward's hand and looked into his eyes.
Edward knew enough to not say anything else right now. It was obvious to him that Teddy needed to talk. "So, you ready for tomorrow?"
"More than ready."
"So what's going on tomorrow, after the wedding?" Edward asked the question and then looked around the large table at the family gathered.
"We'll I'm kidnapping you and we're flying away together to some island in the south pacific. Is that what you mean?" Teddy couldn't help but smile.
Edward smiled and shook his head, "No, but I am all ready for that. I meant what is everyone else doing?"
John smiled, "At least one of the two of you is a responsible caring adult and is thinking about the rest of us poor souls."
In response, Teddy stuck his tongue out at John.
"I rest my case."
"Anyway... John and I are leaving tomorrow for the condo in Colorado with the boys and Bess. I think we're going to steal Devon to go with us. That is if you want to go, Devon?"
Devon seemed genuinely surprised, "Really?"
"Unless you really want to go home, to London. We thought you'd enjoy the time to have fun. We'll be taking care of the kids, so you could enjoy skiing or just hanging out."
A smile came across his face, "I'd love it."
Ted had an opening, "Laura, would you mind taking Vladimir with you too? I think he needs a vacation and what better place,"
"But..." Vladimir began to protest.
"I think that's a great idea. Bess and the boys will love having him around." Edward was already on board with this project. "Vladimir, you'll love it. Plus you never know what could happen."
Laura looked over at the young man, "Come on, you'll have a blast. Besides, you know we're going to hound you until you say yes anyway."
Vladimir finally smiled, "Okay, I would love to go."
Teddy noticed that Devon actually smiled. `Thank God for small miracles.'
Rose looked over at her son, "The three of us are going to Florida and staying in Ted's house there. Stephanie has it all arranged."
"How did I not know this?" Edward realized he never asked what his parents were doing.
"That's what you get for missing staff meetings." Stephanie said it without missing a beat.
Edward laughed, "Oh I see you have the same sense of humor as your boss."
"Of course, you don't think I could have survived all these years without it, did you?"
"Harry, how about you?" Laura was smiling, as she always did when he was around.
"I'm flying to Las Vegas for a little exchange and then home to London."
"Sounds like a fun trip."
John leaned towards his wife, "Sorry dear, you have to go to Aspen with me and kids."
Laura faked a frown, "Dammit."
"Edward, I have something for you." Harry handed a sealed envelope to Edward. "I was ordered to give this to you tonight."
Reaching for it, Edward looked at the outside of the envelope, the stationary was from Buckingham Palace. "Do you know what's in here?"
"No, so hurry up and open it. I'm curious as all get." Harry smiled and clasped his hands together, "I almost opened it earlier so I could know first."
Opening the envelope, Edward leaned in and started reading. He read the letter twice and didn't say anything out loud. He then read the second page which was an official Army document. He was completely stunned.
Ted couldn't stand it anymore, "Babe, what is it?"
"Edward?" Harry was leaned over just as far as Ted. Harry recognized the handwriting on the letter. "What'd she say?"
He couldn't answer, he just handed the letter to Harry to read.
Harry read it as quickly as he could, "Bloody Hell."
Ted was now becoming aggravated and a little worried, "Harry, what is it?"
Starting with the official document, Harry decided to summarize. "Captain Edward Smythe is hereby promoted to the rank of Major and is immediately seconded from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment to The Royal Household as Temporary Equerry to the Monarch of the United Kingdom and Equerry to the Household of His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales and His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales."
"Oh my God!" Ted almost jumped from his seat. "What was the other one?"
Edward was finally able to speak again, "It was a note from Her Majesty congratulating us on the wedding. Then she said she looks forward to having me serve in the palace from time to time and how she was happy I'd be helping her grandsons."
Everyone started to talk at once about the news. Ted was watching Edward and trying to gauge his true feelings about his promotion and new job.
"Babe, are you okay?"
Edward had a blank look on his face, "I'm good, very happy, but... I have to work FOR HIM now." He pointed at Harry and smiled.
The next day was a whirlwind of activity. By the time the afternoon came and the ceremony was ready to begin, everyone seemed to be a mass of nerves. The guys had decided against a procession and both entered from opposite sides of the front of the room. Each had their best man by their sides and beside them were the boys. Standing in front of Ted and Edward right in the middle was Elizabeth. They had decided it was the perfect place for her, so she wouldn't be relegated to one side or the other. She was smiling from ear to ear the entire time.
This time they were able to have a more religious centered ceremony and both like the ability to thank and celebrate God. They exchanged the same vows they had in London, both had decided they liked them too much to change anything in them.
As soon as the vows were exchanged the reception began. Unlike their last ceremony, this reception was decidedly a more low key event. There were much less people for this one, mainly just family.
As he was dancing with Edward, Ted felt a tug on his pant leg. Looking down he saw Dylan looking up at him. "Uncle Teddy, can I dance will you?"
Teddy smiled, "Of course you can." He picked Dylan up and held him between himself and Edward as they moved to the music. "Did you enjoy the ceremony?"
"Yes, sir. It was nice." His voice wasn't matching his words.
Edward heard it too, "What's wrong little man?"
"I don't want you guys to go to Bory Bory."
Ted laughed slightly, "Bora Bora, why not?"
"Cause I don't want to go to Colorado."
"Dylan, you'll have fun. What's wrong?"
"I just want to go home. I want us all to go home." His voice sounded almost like it was pleading.
Ted hugged Dylan tightly, "It's okay, you'll have fun I promise and then we'll all see each other in a couple weeks."
"Uncle Edward, would you tell him?"
"Dylan, it's going to be okay, I promise."
"No one listens to me." Dylan just laid his head on Teddy's shoulder and didn't say anything else.
"Okay, we'll be back in two weeks. I'll let you know when we're getting in."
Laura was standing next to the boys and Bess, "Sounds great. Call us when you get to the island, we should already be at the condo by then."
Teddy leaned down and hugged the boys as Edward picked Bess up to hug her. "Baby, you're going to have a fun time."
"I know, daddy, I'm good." She was smiling. "I'm so happy you guys got married. I love you both."
"I love you too. We'll see you in two weeks." Edward set Elizabeth back on the ground and placed his hand on Ted's back. "Babe, its time."
Teddy stood up, "I'm ready."
Edward grasped Ted's hand and they started to walk toward the aircraft. As they reached the bottom of the steps, they both turned and waved at their family. As he took the first step, he felt Ted stop.
Releasing Edward's hand, Ted turned and looked at the family. He felt strange like something was going to be different from this day forward, but he couldn't put his finger on it. It was as if he had the need to burn this image into his mind.
"Babe, we need to get going." Edward was on the first step and leaning over towards Teddy.
After taking one last look, Ted turned and looked at Edward. "Okay, I'm ready."
Walking along the deck towards their bungalow, Teddy couldn't get over the smell of the ocean and looking up at the clear sky. He looked from the sky to the crystal blue waters. When he finally looked over at Edward, there was a huge smile on his face.
"Babe, can you believe this place?"
Teddy shook his head, "No, it's so much more than I imagined."
As they reached the door to the bungalow, Teddy wanted to push past the porter and go inside. Edward was practically having to pull him back. When the door opened, the young man moved aside so they could go inside. Walking in, Teddy's took a huge breath in because of the view. He walked right out onto the deck, with Edward in tow.
"Oh my... Edward, do you believe this?"
"No babe. You did good, as usual."
Ted noticed that while on the deck, you couldn't see the other bungalows. That had been a prime concern when they planned this trip and they had come through perfectly. He looked to his left and saw the plunge pool, in front of the bedroom.
As he noticed the porter had brought all of the luggage inside, Edward released Ted's hand and walked over to him. He handed the man a tip and then locked the door, before he turned back and looked at Teddy. Edward couldn't think of loving any person as much as he loved the man he was watching look out over the sea.
When Edward walked up behind him, Ted smiled. The feeling of Edward standing behind him, was intoxicating. Edward had grabbed the railing on either side of Ted and was pressed firmly against his him. Teddy couldn't help but press his ass into Edward's crotch.
"God damn, babe. Why don't we take a shower?"
"Sounds perfect, soldier boy."
Walking back through the bungalow, the started to drop clothing on the floor as they went. By the time they reached the bathroom they were both naked. Edward reached in and started the shower as Ted grabbed their bag of toiletries.
By the time the water was warm, Teddy was back. As he set the bag on the counter, he felt a wet hand reach out and grab him. He let out a laugh as he was pulled into the shower. It wasn't as big as their shower at home, but it made it even more fun to be this close. As Edward turned him around, and pulled his chin up kiss him, Ted let out a moan.
Edward's hand moved from Ted's chin to the back of his head. He held his lover's head in place. His free hand moved down Ted's back and stopped as it cupped a cheek of his ass. The sound and feeling of Ted moaning into his mouth always made him feel incredible. To know he could bring this man such pleasure was powerful to him.
As he surrendered himself to Edward's kiss, Ted wrapped his arms around his husband. The thought of that made it even hotter to him. They had resisted the idea of having sex on the flight down here. They wanted their first time after the wedding ceremony to be here in paradise.
Pulling back Edward looked into Ted's eyes, "I love you."
Teddy couldn't help but smile, "I love you too."
Edward reached for the shower gel and put a large amount in his hand. As he was lathering Ted up, he smiled as Ted started doing the same. "Let's hurry and go to the bedroom. I want to do it on the bed."
Teddy just nodded his head quickly and they both started to rinse off. As they exited the shower, Edward reached over and picked Ted up. As he passed the counter, he grabbed a small tube of lube. Reaching the bedroom, Edward set him down softly on the bed. He then turned and looked out the open sliding glass doors. There was a cool breeze coming off the water, which was nice even though it wasn't extremely hot it helped.
As Edward climbed on the bed with him, Teddy rolled onto his back and smiled as Edward moved over him. Neither of them said anything as Edward pressed his body on top of Ted's. As their mouths met, Ted wrapped his legs around Edward. His hands moved instantly to Edward's ass.
"Edward, I want you... now."
Grinding his cock harder into Ted's ass, Edward smiled. "I want you too, babe. You ready?"
Ted nodded his head quickly as he looked up into Edward's eyes. He then watched wide-eyed as Edward sat up and then grabbed the bottle of lube. The feeling of Edward's fingers applying lube to his ass made Ted's eyes close. As many times as they had done this, Ted was still shocked at the feeling he got from this man. He tried to prepare himself for what was to come.
Edward used a little more lube than usual, just to make sure. With Ted's legs over his thighs as he prepared himself, he had perfect access. He lined the head of his cock up with Ted's opening. As he pressed forward he was amazed at how tight Ted still was. Not that he was complaining, but as much as they had been having sex he half expected it to just not be so tight anymore. A smile came to Edward's face as he pressed forward. He watched Ted's face as he felt himself slide into his lover.
Ted's face showed a short sign of pain as he was invaded, but that quickly changed to a look of pleasure. He never felt anything like the feeling of being with Edward. Someone who loved him this way and had the power to bring him such pleasure. While David and Philip were good in bed, they just weren't like this. When he opened his eyes, Edward was above him smiling.
"No matter how many times we do this, it takes my breath away every single time."
"Yours?" Teddy couldn't help but want to laugh.
An extra hard thrust and Teddy's eyes rolled back in his head and he took a deep breath.
"Guess you're right." Edward grinned wide and wiggled his eye brows.
The evil grin on Edward's face was all it took for Teddy to start to laugh. As the first laugh came out of Ted's mouth, Edward snapped his hips forward again, stopping the laugh and replacing it with a moan.
Ted was in sensory overload, the water right outside the door was incredible. He could smell the sea air, and feel the breeze. That coupled with the feelings he was getting from Edward on top of him was driving him wild. "This is going to be the best time ever."
"Yes it is, baby."
Looking up at Edward, Teddy couldn't remember a time he was happier. Even if the only thing he could think about right now was the pleasure Edward was bringing him. Somewhere in the last few months, Edward had found his groove and brought their already incredible love making to a whole new level. Ted could swear Edward's stamina had been getting even better.
After the third time, Teddy was spent. "Baby, can we get something to eat? I'm exhausted."
"Thank God, I was beginning to think I was going to have to be the first to give in." Edward laughed as he said it.
"You're a mess. What do you want to eat?"
At the end of the week, Devon was sitting in his bedroom at the condo. He was looking up at the ceiling, thinking again Dustin and then Vladimir. He couldn't get over the feeling that he should have seen something sooner. If he had, could he have changed the outcome? Even while thinking about all of that, he couldn't get over the fun he was having with Vladimir. Nothing sexual, but Vlad was showing him a great deal of attention. Devon was convinced Vlad was gay, even though they had never talked about it.
"Devon?" Laura knocked lightly on the half open door.
"Hi, Laura." He raised up and rested on his elbows.
"You okay? You've been very quiet today. Thinking about Dustin?"
"Yeah, just trying to figure out if..."
"If you could have changed him? If you had seen it earlier?"
"Yeah."
"Babe, you can't do that to yourself. The truth is, even if you had seen something or realized what you were seeing, you probably wouldn't have been able to change what happened. Dustin chose this."
"I know, it's just hard."
"Yes it is, but the good news is... it will get better."
Devon tried to smile, "I know."
"So, the reason I came was to tell you we're going to take the kids and go get something to eat. Do you want to go?"
"I think I'd like to just stay here. Maybe get in the hot tub to relax."
Laura started to walk out of the room and turned back to look at him. "We'll be back shortly, enjoy your alone time, with Vladimir."
Devon waited a few minutes and walked out into the living room. Vlad was sitting on the couch, listening to music.
"You didn't want to go eat with them?"
Vlad shook his head, "No, I wanted to stay here with you. What would you say about some time in the hot tub?"
Devon just nodded his head quickly, "Let me go change."
"I've already got it on, come on. Are you afraid of me seeing you naked?"
"More like, I'm afraid to see you naked." Devon said it before he realized it.
Vladimir stood up and walked towards Devon. "You have nothing to be scared of with me." He slowly lifted his shirt over his head, exposing his bare chest.
It was the first time Devon had seen Vlad without a shirt on. He was amazed at the definition in his chest muscles and abs. Vlad was short and stocky, but all muscle. He hooked his thumbs in the waistband of his shorts and pushed them to the floor. As he stood back up, Devon was given a view of Vlad he never would have thought he'd see.
"Bloody hell, you're fucking hot." While Dustin had been Devon's first, he wasn't exactly what Devon would have called his type. Vlad on the other hand was someone Devon dreamt about. Now seeing his large thick cock hanging in front of two equally large balls was almost more than he could stand.
Vlad just smiled, "So, you going to make me stand here naked by myself?"
Ted looked out over the water, he could tell the sun was close to rising. They had been up all night again. `Dear Lord, I never thought this was possible. The love I feel for him and the love he shows me is so pure and incredible. I know I owe this all to you. After everything I've been through I thank you for changing my life so completely.'
"Baby, have I told you how incredible you look with a tan?" Edward was looking at Ted standing at the edge of the deck looking out over the water as the sun rose above the horizon.
Turning around towards where Edward was sitting, Ted smiled wide. "Right back at ya. I can't get over how the sun makes me feel and you look."
Edward moved to stand beside Ted, "I can honestly say for the first time in my life, I think I'm exhausted from having sex."
"I'm glad I'm not the only one. Do you want to go to sleep?"
"Yes, as long as you promise to not take advantage of me."
Ted couldn't help but laugh. "I'll try to control myself."
"Mommy, I don't want to go out to eat." Dylan was sitting in his car seat leaning as far forward as he could. "Can't we just go back?"
"Dylan, you'll have fun. Besides, there isn't anything at the condo and I think Mr. Devon and Mr. Vladimir wanted some alone time." Laura couldn't understand what was wrong with her younger son. This wasn't like him and she thought he hadn't been acting like himself this entire trip.
"We're almost there kiddo." John looked in the rearview mirror at Dylan.
"Hey babe, that was one wild party this afternoon."
"I know it was wild. I need a damn nap. Going to drop this load and then I'm coming home. Damn, I'm still buzzed, but if I can get home in time I'm going to get hammered instead."
"I wish you didn't have to work. Everyone is here and still drinking. You need to hurry home."
"Sucks that today was supposed to be my only day off in weeks and I got called in. Least no one was around to see I'd been drinking. Only have this one load and I'll be done."
John was watching the red light, over the roof of the car in front of him, and the snow slowly falling. He had finally realized today it was time to come clean with his wife and cousin. There was so much he needed to tell them and so many decisions he was going to have to pay for now. He was scared he was going to lose them both when they realized the lies he had told all these years. When the truth came out about him and what he'd done, he knew his life was going to change for the worst.
"La, I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what, John?"
"Traffic sucks, these people need to get the fuck home. Don't they realize there's a storm and I have someplace to be?" As he finished his question, Joe Miller dropped his cell phone and reached down to pick it up. He never saw the traffic light turn yellow or red as he approached the intersection at fifteen miles an hour over the speed limit.
When the light turned green, traffic started to move. As John moved forward, he never saw the tractor trailer run the red light to his left.
Laura looked over just before the impact, "Oh my God!"
Thanks for reading the story. There is only going to be one more chapter in what would be the first "book", but there will be more after the first. While I write this for everyone, I can't make everyone happy nor will I try. I greatly enjoy the many emails from those of you who write, so please keep them coming.
