Welcome back loyal readers. Thanks again to those of you who have written to us. Ben and I love hearing your comments. The war games continue, with our favorite rivalry, the Lady Lex and the "Orion" going at it, fueled, of course, by the personal rivalry of Douglas and David. As usual, Ben manages to throw a twist or two in before letting you know who captures the flag this time.

The Boys of Lady Lex Chapter 54 "State of Confusion" Written By Douglas DD and Benjamin T. C.

"Aren't we in a pissy mood tonight," said Douglas as he was getting ready for bed.

"I'm sorry Douglas, but it just irks me. We played two capture-the-flag games and not once did we get to fire upon anybody or get into a dog fight. I want some action. I want to last longer then just five minutes," said Ben as he crawled into the bed he was sharing with Douglas.

"I know you do, and tomorrow you will have your chance. We play the `Orion' and there is no way we will fall to them like we did last time."

"You know, it's a good thing that Brian piggy backed our sensors like he did, otherwise who knows how many ships we would have lost into that trap."

"I like Brian. Too bad he lacks self confidence." Douglas crawled under the covers next to Ben.

"I think today boosted it some."

"Only to have it taken away by Spencer."

"You heard that too?"

"Yeah, it's pathetic." Douglas rolled over on his side facing Ben. Douglas propped his head up with his arm. "Did I tell you how much I love you lately?"

"Yeah, but you can tell me again."

"I love you Ben." Douglas leaned over and kissed Ben on his lips.

"Hmmmm, I love the feel of your lips against mine," moaned Ben.

Soon, the two naked boys were making sweet love to each other.

"Oh God, Oh God,"

At the sound of that, Johnny thrust harder and fastest; his hard, throbbing cock sliding in and out. He knew it wouldn't be long until the two of them climaxed. Then he felt the nails of Tina Hatcher dig deep into his back as she arched her back and yelled like a Banshee. Johnny moaned loud as he shot a massive load of his seed deep into the captain's daughter. He bent down and kissed her deeply and then rolled off of her and onto his back.

"My God, you can do wonders with that dick of yours," said Tina.

"Oh, there's more where that came from," said Johnny as he lit up a smoke. He took a drag and handed it to Tina who took a drag off of it herself.

"You think my father will reinstate you as cadet CO?"

"You know your father better then I do."

"True. He'll probably will, unless..."

"Unless what?"

"Unless he finds out that you're fucking his daughter without protection."

"Hey, you can't use pills or -cides because of allergies and we have no condoms, so it's either risk the chance, or don't treat ourselves." Johnny took another drag of his cigarette.

"I'll risk the chance for the way you make me feel with your cock any day." She rolled over and started kissing him. Johnny held the cigarette out to the side to ensure neither of them got burned.

Johnny started to get hard again. Tina wanted more of Johnny in her. It was only a few weeks ago that Johnny took her cherry and now she wanted nothing more then to have his cock in her as much as possible. She straddled Johnny and lowered herself onto his cock. With the lighted cigarette still in Johnny's hand out to the side, she began to ride him hard and fast to bring both of them to another powerful and strong climax.

Brian lay in his bed alone, naked. He was thinking about the events of the day and how he played a big role in beating the Kritons. Yet Spencer wouldn't let him in the Birds of Prey. He had no desire to be a Bird of Prey at first, but now he wanted to be nothing but a Bird of Prey: to be with Trevor and Ian; to go on wild adventures that he normally wouldn't go on. But, in order to become a Bird of Prey, one had to be accepted into the group, and Brian was not. He just hoped that come tomorrow, he would be able to prove himself again, when they faced the Orion, and maybe become a Bird of Prey.

Brian's thoughts began to wonder as his hand found his hardening dick. He started to rub it and stroke it. His thoughts of tomorrow's game were replaced with other thoughts. He had heard rumors that boys on the Lexington became boyfriends and had sex with each other. He wondered if these rumors were true. He started to leak precum as he thought about what it would be like to try something like that; to be with someone and give them ultimate love. But Brian knew no one would want to take his virginity. Who would want a cripple? Other then jacking off, Brian had had no other kinds of sex.

Brian began to moan and pump faster as he felt the wonderful feeling starting to consume his body. He had his legs and back up against the wall so he was practically standing on his head. Then he arched his back and tensed up as gobs of cum spurted out of his dick and onto his face. At the climax Brian yelled one word. "HAWKE!!!"

"All systems are a go," said Jesse sitting at his station on the Wonder Boy.

"Nipper, ask permission to launch," ordered Douglas.

"Aye Sir."

All the boys were anxious for some action. The last two games just didn't give them the action all of them desired, especially Ben. But they knew this would be the day they showed everyone what the "Wonder Boy" truly was.

"Douglas, I am getting an incoming hail from the `Ramses'."

"'Ramses'?"

"What the fuck do they want?" cursed Scottie.

"Let's find out. Put them on," said Douglas.

"Hello Douglas my old friend. I just want to let you know that I look forward to beating you once again," said David, Douglas's lifelong rival.

"Not this time asshole," said Ben.

Douglas motioned to Ben to settle down. "David, you might have beaten us last time, but not this time. I promise you that."

"Ha!! And how do you expect a shuttle that hasn't even fired a shot, let alone captured a flag to beat a shuttle that has twelve kills to its name, plus captured the flag in both games?"

"You'd be surprised what the Wonder Boy can do, David."

"Douglas, we've got permission to launch."

"I'll be surprised if the Wonder Boy can get off the ground, let alone anything else."

"I enjoyed this little chat, but it's time to take care of business." Douglas ended the transmission.

"He's such an asshole," said Ben.

"Ben, you wanted action today?"

"Yeah,"

"You're getting it my love. I promise you that."

"How long has it been since we left?" whined Andrew.

"Eighty-seven minutes," replied Nipper.

"Why is it taking us so long to get to the starting point? The other two games didn't take us that long to get into place."

"They want us to play for the title on a field that wasn't played on yet. It's supposed to be an advanced playing field with an asteroid field," replied Douglas.

"I'm tired of waiting,"

"Well, you don't have to wait any more little brother. We have arrived."

"Nipper, tell the Moonduster', Crippleshaw', Gandolph' and Voldermort' that they will stay behind as protectors. At the start of the game, I want the Musketeers to head out in their scouting pattern. I want the remaining shuttles to head out in separate directions. It will help us cover a broader area," said Douglas.

"The game has begun," said Ben.

"Let's move out."

"I'm picking up an enemy shuttle," said Andrew as he monitored his station.

"Prepare to attack!!" ordered Douglas. "OK, Ben you will get your wish. Get ready for some action."

"'Bout bloody time."

"Look!!! It's the Ramses. They're coming hard and heavy!!" said Scottie.

Ben did an evasive maneuver and swerved to miss the incoming fire. The Ramses circled around and came up behind the "Wonder Boy".

"Andrew, fire at will!!" Shouted Douglas.

Andrew fired and missed. The Ramses was now in hot pursuit of the "Wonder Bo". Ben was zig zagging and swerving, doing his best to outrun the "Ramses".

"I can't shake them. Hang on, it's time."

"You're not gonna do that loop thing again, are you?" asked Nipper.

"Yes I am. It's our only hope."

"Ben!! NO!!" said Andrew. "That is what got us killed last time. Doing that double loop."

"That was last time. This is this time and this time I am doing a triple."

"Ben? The `Wonder Boy' can't handle a triple loop," said Douglas.

"Way back when Kalon taught us our first class he stated that we needed to know the limits of our shuttle because they aren't always the limits specified on paper. Well, I know the `Wonder Boy's' limits." Ben throttled back and started to climb. He completed the first loop without too many problems than began his second time around.

"Signs of stress are starting to show," said Jesse.

"Hang on guys, almost done," said Ben. He was bound and determined to successfully do this. "Andrew, have your weapons ready."

The "Wonder Boy" began to shake and rattle. Ben completed the second loop and started on his third. The noise was tremendous. She was shaking violently.

"She's overloading!" yelled Jesse. "Pull her out now!!"

"Just a little bit more." Ben held on tight. He could feel the "Wonder Boy" straining under his hands. "Hang in there girl, hang in there."

"Ben!!! PULL HER OUT NOW!!" yelled Jesse. But it was too late. The systems to the "Wonder Boy" overloaded and blew. The "Wonder Boy" was tossed out of the loop and caught in a flat spin towards the Asteroid field.

"I lost all sensors," yelled Nipper.

"Navigation is down," Scottie put in.

"Weapons are down too," said Andrew.

"Ben can you get her under control?" asked Douglas.

"Yeah, I just need power to the thrusters,"

"I'm working on it," assured Jesse who was working frantically.

"Location of the `Ramses'?" barked Douglas.

"I can't tell. Sensors are down," said Nipper.

"I thought you said the `Wonder Boy' could handle it," said Douglas.

"She can!! I just brought her around too steep. Next time I'll get it right."

"There won't be a next time if the `Ramses' takes us down."

"Scottie, get in the port crawl space. We're gonna have to work the thrusters manually. Scottie you got the aft port thrusters. Nipper, get in the starboard crawl space and take charge of them " shouted Jesse. "Nipper, take the aft starboard thrusters. Andrew, you take care of forward port thrusters and I will take care of the forward starboard thrusters."

"Guys, hurry, we are coming up to the asteroid field pretty quick," said Ben.

"Jesse, I will do the thrusters. You stay here and man your station," said Douglas. He quickly squeezed into the crawl space and manned his station.

"On my commands give me short tiny bursts," yelled Jesse. "You ready Ben?"

"Let's do it."

Jesse started signaling for Douglas, Nipper, Scottie and Andrew to manually release thruster b"ursts at different times. Finally after several bursts, Ben managed to get the "Wonder Boy under control and to a slow drift.

"Great job guys, now let's get our sensors and weapons up so we don't become sitting ducks," ordered Douglas as he took his place on the command chair once again.

"Where are they?" shouted David.

"I lost them," said Rabbit Parker, the Science officer.

"What do you mean you lost them?"

"They started to do that loop thingy again and then I lost them."

"FUCK!!! FIND THEM NOW!! I WANT TO FINISH THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!" David was fuming.

"I found them," said Rabbit. "They are adrift over by the asteroid field.

"Mark, take us there. Rad, show no mercy."

Rad was new to the "Ramses". Since Tim Whitaker was AWOL, they needed a substitute for the Weapons Station. So David chose a boy named Rad Wentworth, a freshman cadet who showed signs of making something of himself.

"We will be in firing range in six minutes," said Rad.

"You're ass is mine now Douglas."

"I got sensors," said Nipper who showed signs of enjoyment in his tone.

"Scan for the Ramses," ordered Douglas.

"Scanning now. I found them. They are headed our way. They will be in target range in about 5 minutes."

"Shit!! Is the weapons systems up yet?"

"I'm working on it," said Andrew.

"Jesse we need either weapons or impulse power like now."

"Those loops did a number on the systems. I need time."

"We don't have time."

"There, I rerouted some power. Ben you should have impulse power."

Ben immediately slipped the Wonder Boy in gear. But all she did was move as if she was dragging ass. "I don't even have a quarter impulse power. I need more."

"I'm trying."

"Four minutes until target range," said Nipper.

Ben quickly turned the "Wonder Boy" around and headed towards the Asteroid Field. "Nipper, how long will it be until we get into the asteroid field?"

"You're not gonna take us into the asteroid field with shields down on one quarter impulse power are you?"

"Nipper, how much time?"

Nipper quickly did the calculations. "Four minutes at present speed."

"And the `Ramses'?" asked Douglas.

"Three minutes."

"We will never make it Ben."

"Never say never. Jesse we need more speed. Give it to me."

"Everyone, strap yourselves in now," said Jesse as he ran to a panel on the bulkhead.

Douglas knew what Jesse was planning to do. He quickly strapped himself in, as did all the others. Jesse threw a switch and started to lift off the deck. He had cut off the gravity generator and routed the power to impulse power.

"Now we're cooking," said Ben as they Wonder Boy picked up some speed.

"Nipper, report!" said Douglas.

"Two minutes until we reach the field, 1 minute 30 seconds until we are in target range."

"Andrew, how're your weapons coming?"

"All of our power is going to the engines. I can't raise shields or get the weapons on line. In order to do so, we will have to cut off all power and redirect to the weapons systems."

"Ok, guys, don't breath as much. I just cut off life support," said Jesse.

The "Wonder Boy" picked up even more speed. Ben steered her towards the asteroid field.

"30 seconds until we reach the field and we will be in target range in 30 seconds." Reported Nipper.

"Ok, David. Let's see how well you play hide-n-go seek" said Douglas.

Ben entered the asteroid field and took a hard 90 degree turn behind an asteroid as the "Ramses" came up on them and fired. But Ben managed to dodge the fire. Ben's adrenalin was pumping through his veins now. He'd always heard Kalon say how much he loved to do asteroid runs, but he never thought he would be doing it himself.

"Jesse, with life support down, how much time do we have until we have to turn them back on?" asked Douglas.

"Thirty minutes."

"Ben, can you hold out that long?"

"I think so, but once we lose impulse power, we are done for. Without impulse power, I can't maneuver around these `roids. So we will have to exit from the thing that is our only shield at the present time."

"Andrew, Jesse, we need shields and weapons ASAP!!" yelled Douglas.

"I'm trying, I'm trying," said Andrew. "But Ben really fried the systems with that stupid trick of his. I don't know why he had to do that."

"Shut up Andrew and get the weapons online," yelled Ben who wasn't about to take the blame for their predicament.

"Any signs of them?" asked David as he stared out the windows at the different asteroids, hoping to catch a glimpse of them.

"The asteroids are creating interference with our sensors," said Rabbit. "But I am adjusting to compensate now."

"David, they are obviously in trouble. They must have fried their systems or something when they did that loop thing. They're not threat to us now. Let's forget about then and go capture the flag," said Mark.

"NO!!! We will find them and kill them. Do I make myself clear?"

"Crystal."

"I'm having trouble with my sensors. These asteroids have some sort of alloy that isn't taking too kindly to our sensors," said Nipper.

"I wonder if the `Ramses' is having problems with their sensors then too?" asked Douglas.

"I am willing to bet they are," said Nipper.

"Then we are both fighting in the dark. At least for that aspect, the odds are even."

Ben swung around a giant size asteroid. He knew that if the impulse engines failed, they would surely be dead. "Oh Shit!!!"

"What is it Ben?" asked Douglas.

"I just found the `Ramses' up ahead."

"Did they spot us?"

"It doesn't appear so," said Ben. "They are headed away from us. Their sensors must be down too."

"Ben, stay behind them, but keep them in view. But any signs of them spotting us..."

"I know what to do."

"Andrew, Jesse, we need a miracle. I don't care what you have to do to get one, but we need some sort of weapon now to take the `Ramses' out."

"Ben?" said Andrew with a hint of concern in his voice.

"What is it Andrew?"

"I think I have an idea, but..."

"But what Andrew?" asked Douglas.

"It's an idea that only a Hawke would be stupid enough to attempt."

"Ah shit!!" said Ben. He knew whatever idea Andrew came up with would entail a great deal of risk and wasn't guaranteed to work.

"David, we are being hailed by the `Wonder Boy'," said Rabbit.

"To surrender no doubt. Have you located them yet?"

"No, the sensors are still not responding. I am getting nothing but static and garble."

"Alright, patch him through."

"You're on," said Rabbit.

"Douglas my dear old friend. I take it you finally realized that you are no match for us."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that David. We haven't given up yet."

"There they are," pointed out Mark looking out the window.

"If I am reading this right, their weapons and shields are toast," said Rabbit.

David smiled to himself. "Bring to full stop. Lock on target and fire at my command."

"Oh I see you found us," said Douglas.

"Yes and soon you will be another statistic and notch in our kill belt."

"Oh I don't know about that David. One just doesn't know anything anymore. But hey, doesn't this remind you of an old time western? The sheriff and the villain in the middle of Main Street, ready for a dual."

"The only difference is that there will be no undertaker to measure your body. Lucky for you, this is just simulated death," said David.

"Keep stalling Douglas. Andrew and Scottie needs at least five more minutes," said Jesse as he worked his station.

"Five more minutes? Sheesh, that's asking a lot, but I will do my best."

"They just got through the pinhole. Give them time," said Ben.

"Time is not on our side," said Douglas.

"David, stop wasting time and let me blow them out of the sky," said Rad.

"Relax, they can't harm us. I like prolonging their death, making them suffer all the more," said David. Then he turned his attention back to Douglas. "Well Douglas, I really enjoyed this chat, but we have a flag to capture. It's time to say goodbye."

"What the . . ?" Mark looked confused. A body was crawling down the windshield in front of him. "Andrew?"

"Who the Hell is that?" said David.

Another body climbed down the windshield. Scottie gave them a shit eaten grin and then flipped them the bird. Then Andrew and Scottie did a black flip off the "Ramses".

"What kind of trick are you trying to pull, Douglas? Whatever it is, it won't work."

"You see David, we just planted a torpedo on the `Ramses' with a timer. Now, if you don't mind, I really enjoyed this chat, but we have a flag to capture," said Douglas with pride and confidence.

"FIRE!!!" yelled David. But it was too late. The torpedo simulated going off, thus destroying the "Ramses" and taking them out of the game. The ""Ramses' safety kicked on and automatically flew them out of the asteroid field to a safe distance and then powered down until the game was over.

"Let's go pick up Andrew and Scottie and get out of this place so we can put life support back on. The air is getting thin in here," said Douglas. Ben slipped the Wonder Boy into gear and soon Scottie and Andrew were boarding with the same kinds of cheers that Bryce and Mike heard just the day before when they came in from doing their space walk.

"Mike, the `Porthos' just reported the location of the beacon. But it is heavily guarded," said Carson.

"Ok guys, it's time to give an old fashion donkey hoofing. Tell all available shuttles to come join the fun," said Mike.

"Yeah, now we're talking," said Eric.

"Reports are coming in," said Brian. "The Wonder Boy' destroyed one Orion' shuttle. The Moonduster', Cape Crippleshaw', Gandolph' and Voldermort' are under severe fire at our beacon defending it. The Porthos', Aramis' and D'Artagnan' are destroyed. The Athos', Buford', Caulifield', Fagin', Holmes', Medea', Sinbad' and Seldon' are in an intense battle at the Orion's' beacon."

"It's state of confusion time," said Spencer.

"Let's go make them eat our shorts," said Hawke.

"Will someone capture their flag?" ordered Mike as the "Caulfield" took yet another indirect hit.

"Everyone is under attack. They are guarding it pretty well," said Carson.

"Any word from the home front?" asked Mike

"They're out numbered. They just lost the "Gandolph" and "Moonduster" and the "Voldermort" is in critical condition."

"Ok guys, it's just a matter of time before they capture our flag. If we are going to win this, we need to go in now. Eric, take us in!!"

"Wait!!" yelled Carson. Here comes the `Raptor'."

"Well it's about goddamn time."

During the mass confusion, the "Raptor" swooped in on to it's prey, and with weapons blazing, reached out as with sharp, deadly talons. The "Orion's" flag was captured.

Kalon and Ben did a walk around of the "Wonder Boy" in the hanger. Kalon was shaking his head the entire time. By the way Kalon was acting, it didn't look too promising.

"Well Ben, I will say this, you sure did a number on her."

"I tried for that triple loop, but I came in too steep. I should have let her out some."

"Well you sure had guts out there today, that's for sure."

"So is she fixable?"

Kalon didn't answer. He wandered around her for a few more minutes, looking into cable wells and panels. The look on his face wasn't very encouraging. He was quickly seeing why the "Wonder Boy" ended up being towed in after their confrontation with the "Ramses".

"Ben, her systems are fried. Once you cleared the asteroid field, you should have shut her down and waited until the `Lexington' came by to pick you up instead of trying to force her to the beacon. You pushed her beyond her limits."

"But is she fixable?"

"Ben, in order to fix a mess like this it would take more equipment, more parts, and more man hours then any of us could afford. Sometimes it's worth fixing a ship and other times...well sometimes you just need to say she was a good shuttle and let her go. And this I do believe is one of those times."

Tears began to swell in Ben's eyes. He loved that ship as if it was a part of him. No, it was a part of him. He didn't want to give up on her. He would do what it would take to bring her back to life. He had too.

"I'm not pulling the plug!!" yelled Ben. Then he ran out of the shuttle bay leaving Kalon alone with a shuttle craft that had seen her last days of flight.
