Greetings and welcome back readers. This chapter is a Douglas chapter. I decided it was time for a change of pace. This chapter, while it has serious moments in it, offers a bit of comic relief. Ben and I hope some of the scenes puts some smiles on your faces. -Ben and Douglas
The Boys of the Lady Lex Chapter 12 "Zero G" Written By Douglas DD and Benjamin T. Collins
Ely cursed as he surveyed the damage through the smoke. It was a mess, but not as bad as he first feared. It was obviously sabotage, but it was also obviously done by an amateur. There was a lot of damage to the room, but the gravity generator was practically untouched. The new generator was still in a hanger and wasn't affected at all. Nevertheless, there was damaging to controls and to wiring. It would take some time to clean it all up, and probably set the already tight schedule back at least a day.
The first thing he would have to do is jury rig some wiring and controls so that he could get gravity back to the section of the ship that had it. Ely called to Chief Petty Officer Anderson, one of the first new crew members assigned to the Lady Lex. Anderson had been on medical leave after being injured while serving on the academy ship "Port Royal." The accident had been the fault of an overeager cadet in the engineering department. He had expected to be reassigned to the "Port Royal", and was surprised, but not displeased, when he received orders to report to the "Lexington". He knew the story of the starship, and was enthusiastic about being able to contribute to its success. He had enjoyed working with the cadets on the academy ship, the accident not withstanding. He had developed a very close, and maybe dangerous relationship with a couple of the cadets. He was looking forward teaching some hard core kids a thing or two about engineering. He had been told most of the cadets on the Lady Lex were of above average intelligence. In fact, nothing would please him more than to put some of the privileged, know-it-all cadets from the academy ships in their place.
"It looks bad," Chief Anderson said.
Ely surveyed the damage. "It looks worse than it is. A lot of noise and smoke and peripheral damage."
"How long to fix it, do you think?"
"Fifteen to twenty minutes to get it jury rigged. A bit longer so it will hold up until we can get our new beauty installed."
As Chief Anderson floated across the engineering space, Captain Hatcher and Commander Creevy floated in through a hatch. All of the navy personnel were used to zero g work, and after the initial shock of losing gravity they let training and experience take over.
"What happened?" Captain Hatcher asked.
"It appears to have been a small bomb?" Ely answered.
"A bomb? You mean we were sabotaged?"
"Yes and yes."
"What's the damage assessment?"
"Not as bad as it looks. It was pretty amateurish. The bomb was set on the floor next to the hatch. The person was obviously in a hurry. Most of the damage is to instruments and wiring, and we can jury rig some wiring around the damaged area. The generator itself is okay."
Captain Hatcher immediately activated his communicator. "Hatcher to Stone."
"Stone here, Captain."
"Colonel, how are the boys faring?"
"Good and bad. Some remember what little emergency training they got. Some panicked. Some have gravity sickness, making a fine mess to clean later. We're trying to remind them all of what how to safely float and what to do when they heard the announcement gravity was being restored. How long will it be?"
Captain Hatcher turned to Ely. "How long?"
"At least an hour, maybe two." Petty Officer Anderson, who was already hard at work rigging up wiring, raised his eyebrows at Ely's answer. "I can't guarantee how long it will hold. We may have some more fluctuations. I will have to shut it down once we have something more permanent, but at least everybody will have warning. It's too bad this happened during recreation time. The boys are scattered everywhere. It's making it harder to get them aid."
"See if you can get it done quicker, Ely," Hatcher implored.
"We'll do our best, Captain."
"I know you will. I'm going to help with the kids. One thing about artificial gravity, it's either on or it's off. We don't want Doc Daniels's office filled up with broken bones."
Captain Hatcher and Commander Creevy floated out of the room. Anderson looked at Ely and said, "Captain Storm, I thought we can have this done in fifteen minutes or so."
"We can."
"But you told Captain Hatcher it would take...," he suddenly smiled. "Oh. I get it."
"Yep. We're a couple of fucking miracle workers, we are."
Nipper and Andrew floated around the shower room. Globs of water and urine floated around them. They were holding on to each other for dear life, their naked bodies intertwined. Even though they had just both cum, their preadolescent cocks were hard from the contact and the excitement of floating in zero g. They bounced into a wall, Nipper's butt cushioning the blow, but the momentum sent them across the room to the other wall. Nipper was trying to remember what was said in their emergency drills about slowing themselves down in a zero gravity situation, but his mind was blank. All he could think of was the naked boy wrapped around him.
"I love you, Andrew."
"I love you, Nipper."
"I think we better unlock," he said as they bounced off the opposite wall. This time Andrew's shoulder hit and he could feel some pain. They were now floating the other way.
"Why? This is fun. I love floating around like this with you."
"But all we're doing is bouncing back and forth."
"I know. So lets try doing more," Andrew said as he pushed his boner up against Nipper's belly. He didn't consider what that motion would do to them, and suddenly the two boys started spinning slowly around. Nipper tried reaching up for a pipe so he could stop the twisting, but he missed, sending the two spinning bodies heading down to the floor, bounding off it at an angle and heading towards a shower head.
"Watch out Andrew!" he yelled. Andrew put his hands up just in time to keep his head from crashing into the shower head. His legs were still wrapped around Nipper, and his protective motion got the two boys spinning around faster. Nipper felt like he was the ball in a pinball machine.
Corporal Danzig came floating in, fighting off the globules of water. He looked up at saw the two naked boys holding on to each other and spinning like a top. It was all he could do not to double up with laughter.
He worked his way up with some planned moves, grabbed the spinning boys and reversed their momentum. He worked them slowly down to floor level. He had them separate from each other. If he noticed their boners, he didn't say anything. He had each boy grab onto a shower pipe, and admonished them not to move or let go. He floated out of the shower room, and as soon as he turned the corner the built up laughter finally came roaring out. Andrew and Nipper both heard it and turned full body red with embarrassment.
Ben slowly floated up off the bed. Douglas tried to grab him and bring him back down, but his inexperience only made matters worse. While the boys were drifting slowly, and couldn't do much damage to themselves in zero gravity, Douglas knew Ben was still hurting from his surgery and that even the light jolts of zero g could hurt him. He worked to remember what he had heard about maneuvering in zero gravity, and managed to work his way between Ben and the upcoming ceiling, cushioning his blow.
"Thanks, man," Ben said.
"No problem. Getting you down could be interesting. Maybe I should ask for help."
"I bet there's some guys worse off than us. I trust you to keep me safe."
"You do? I have to tell you I have no clue as to what I'm doing."
"You're doing fine so far."
"Yeah, I am. So far."
Trevor was skipping along a corridor. He was heading for his brother Ben's room to say hi and see how he was doing. The last skip felt funny, however, and he found himself shooting straight up towards the ceiling. Before he could protect himself he crashed head first into the ceiling and zipped back the floor, bouncing right back up again. This time he was able to grasp a beam and hold on. He thought his arms were going to pull out of his sockets, but he kept his grip. His momentum now stopped he was hanging from the ceiling. Or was he? Without gravity there was no up or down. For all he could figure he was upside down and his feet were sticking up. Because he was weightless, he could hold on to the beam. His brain knew that if he let go he wouldn't fall, but his emotions said the floor was under him and he grasped the beam as tightly as he could. The scene had him disoriented, and he felt like vomiting. He fought the reaction as hard as he could.
He sensed movement and turned his head. Floating out of a door behind him and into the corridor was Johnny Cooper. He wanted to let go of the beam, but he was afraid if me moved he would puke.
There was a reason the toilets on a space ship were built so that the lid had to be lowered in order to flush. This insured the lids would remained closed, so in a zero gravity situation the water in the toilet wouldn't get out of the toilet and float around the ship.
One problem that couldn't be solved, however, was that sometimes the lid had to be open because the toilet was in use. In Mike's case he was sitting on it, taking a dump, thinking about his weird new roommate Stan, who had been switched to him after having been Ryan's roommate. Ryan was Mike's boyfriend, and was heading over to Mike's room so they could discuss Stan. Stan was in parts unknown.
However, just as Mike stood up to wipe the Lady Lex lost gravity and all hell broke loose in the little head.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh, shit!" Mike screamed as he floated up off the ground and the contents of the toilet emptied itself into the air.
Mike wiped, let go of the toilet paper, and used what he remembered of his skimpy training to push himself to the door. Holding his breath, he opened it, floated out as quickly as he could, successfully dodging little brown asteroids, and shut it. Only a couple globules of water escaped.
He was surprised to see Ryan floating over his bed. He must have just entered the room.
"Nice view, Mike. I didn't come in expecting a zero gravity moon."
Mike couldn't help but chuckle. He pointed to the head. "You don't want to go in there," he said.
"I wasn't planning on it," Ryan said, holding his nose.
Jesse was on his bed, wearing nothing but a pair of boxers, wondering if he'd made the right decision. His roommate, Scottie, who was wearing a T-shirt and his uniform pants, was busy reading a book, but Jesse wasn't in the mood to do anything but stare at the ceiling. He was disappointed that his roommate was an older boy. Scottie seemed nice, but he was 14 and an 8th grader, and Jesse was in 8th grade, but almost a full year younger, and he looked even younger than that. Jesse was realizing more and more that his time was not going to be his own, except during the short evening recreation periods. Maybe getting back at his dad wasn't as important as he thought.
"Hey, Jesse, what's on your mind?" Scottie asked, looking up from his book. "You look a little down. You're not sorry you joined up with us are you?"
"Well, um...no, not really." Jesse was somewhat surprised by Scott's perceptive questioning.
"Yes you are. And on top of that, you're stuck with a big dork like me as a roommate."
"You're not a dork."
"Yes, I am. I'm a big clumsy dork. And you're the Captain's son. And you figure you deserve better."
"No I don't."
"And if you could to it right now, you'd go to your dad and beg him to take you back. But you're afraid to, because you're out to prove something to him. Am I right?"
"Are you a mind reader?"
Scottie laughed. "No, but I know people. Hey, Jesse, I won't bite you. And most of us here on the Lady Lex are losers, but many of us are hard core violent criminals, because if we were we'd be in some prison or a work farm, not in a school. And the Marines are assholes, but if you listen and do what they say, you'll be fine. You're stuck, boy, cuz I have an idea you're dad won't take you back. You're one of us until the end you agreed to. So cheer up."
Jesse was about to answer, when suddenly he lost contact with his bed and felt light headed. He was floating. Gravity was gone.
He looked at Scottie, who was a few inches off his bed, "Hey, this is cool."
Scottie snatched his book out of the air. "Yeah. Nice and comfy."
He opened the book and continued his reading as he slowly floated above the bed.
Jesse giggled as he realized Scottie was a good guy, and maybe this wouldn't be so bad. Besides, he had to show his dad he was just as good as Mark, and going back to him wasn't how that was going to happen. Jesse took a big breath and exhaled, and as a result he started floating towards the headboard. Oh, wow, he thought, just like a rocket.
Scooter liked his new roommate, TJ. TJ was smart and funny, and didn't treat him like he was trash. Scooter was tired of being picked on, both by the Sergeant Murdock and by his fellow cadets. He didn't ask to be the watch command. He didn't intend to fall asleep on his watch. He didn't want to be here. Just a few short months ago, he had been a honor student, beach boy, have fun with life type of guy. He had a boyfriend, Jim, and some other friends he played around and partied with.
Jeff had been great at the school. He wished Jeff was still his roommate. Jeff wasn't Jim, but he'd been a good friend, and was good in bed. In fact, Scooter had to admit, he had been starting to fall in love with him at St. Augustine.
TJ billed himself as the Hamster. Scooter found it interesting that he had been a member of a gang. He thought kids in gangs were all totally evil, thinking only of ways to break laws and hurt people. But TJ was a very caring individual. He told Scooter he had been in the gang because it was something to do. And under Mike the Donkey they only hit up people who deserved it. The liquor store they got caught robbing was had been selling to little kids. Not only liquor, but drugs. Not members of the Donkey Gang didn't drink beer or smoke dope on occasion, but it was the principal of the thing.
TJ and Scooter were playing chess at the small desk in the cabin when things started floating up off the desk. The chess set they had checked out of the library was magnetic, so their pieces stayed on the board. The men they had captured stayed attached to the steel top of the desk, however books and papers were floating all around them.
"Uh, Houston, we have a problem," TJ said, using the hundreds year old saying that originated in the very earliest days of manned space flight.
Scooter laughed and grabbed the belts that were tucked under his bed. TJ did the same, and the boys fastened themselves down to their beds.
"Damn, you know what, Scooter?"
"What?"
"I wonder what jerking off and cumming in zero g would be like."
"Yeah," Scooter said dreamily. "Shall we find out?"
TJ grinned and pulled down his pants, and Scooter followed suit. Both boys but their hands on their dicks, rubbing them, getting them hard, and started engaging in scientific experimentation.
Cody O'Shea was buried deep into the ass of Carson Brothers, fucking him doggy style. Cody was 14 and perpetually horny. Carson was 10, with a great ass and three years experience of being fucked by his brothers and his brothers' friends. Cody hadn't wasted time in checking out Carson and seeing if he was willing to play around. He was amazed and pleased to find out that Carson was more than willing. In fact, Carson had been the one to start the flirting, which made it even easier for Cody. And now it was all paying off as Cody fucked his young roommate hard, reveling in his hot tight ass.
Cody could tell he was getting close to the big moment when everything came lose. He was going one way, and then another, and actually floating, with his dick inside Carson. He stopped his thrusting, as he and his roommate banged into the wall above the headboard.
"What the fuck is going on!" Cody yelled as his dick popped out of Carson's ass. Cody had been close, but not close enough to fire right off, and he found himself losing his hardon as he drifted farther away from Carson. Both boys were trying to figure out what it was they had been told in emergency drills, but without success. Fear had replaced horniness, and shots of adrenaline replaced the shots of male sex hormones that had been coursing through them.
Sergeant Murdock got on the PA system and addressed the ship. He reminded the boys what precautions to take. He reminded them to be close to the floor when they got the announcement that the gravity generator would be turned back on. He told them it would be about an hour before that happened, an announcement that was met with a mixture of cheers and groans, depending how much fun was being had. The boys who had gone to the rec hangar for games and recreation, were having a lot of fun after the initial shock. Slow motion games of zero gravity tag were going on. More daring individuals were showing off, doing somersaults, barrel roles, flips, and more. Some boys merely grabbed on to whatever they could find and held themselves into place.
After the announcement things calmed down around the ship, as fear and panic subsided and the boys started to remember their emergency training.
"It's ready," Chief Anderson told Ely. "I don't see it lasting for more than a day, but we should have something more permanent rigged up by then."
"Great. Good work. Only fifteen minutes. I'll inform the captain."
Ely pulled out his communicator. "Captain, we're ready to restore gravity. Please inform the crew."
"Fifteen minutes, Ely? You said an hour. Good work!"
"Thank you sir, I had good help. Storm out."
Ely turned to Anderson. "You see how easy it is to have a captain tied around your finger?"
Anderson laughed. "I'll have to remember that, sir."
Captain Hatcher hung up the phone, and told Creevy, "I figured more like twelve minutes. The old codger is slipping."
Creevy chuckled. It was obvious the Captain knew his Chief Engineer well.
Captain Hatcher came on the PA and announced the gravity would be turned back on at precisely 19:30 hours. He reminded the cadets to be as close to the floor as possible. Gravity couldn't be brought gently back with the gravity generator they were using. It was either zero, or Earth Standard one g. He reminded them it was now 19:25 hours and they had five minutes to get ready. They would get a countdown every minute, and then a 30 second countdown at the end.
There was no clock in the shower room, but Nipper and Andrew could hear the countdown. They carefully lowered themselves close to the floor, and when the countdown reached zero they each only had about a foot to drop, but it still knocked the air out of them when they hit the floor. All the water that had been beading up and floating, coalesced back to liquid form and splashed down onto the floor. The shower, which had turned off automatically when sensors in the plumbing system sensed zero gravity, turned back on. Nipper looked at Andrew and Andrew returned the look. They both were okay. They kissed, and quickly finished off their shower.
"You aren't the faggot twin, you're the other one aren't you?" Johnny asked Trev, who was hanging above him. In this case above was relative, figured in terms of the ship's structure, rather than in terms of actual up and down. In zero g there was no up or down.
Sergeant Murdcock came on the PA and made his emergency safety announcement.
"My brother isn't a faggot," Trev said defensively.
"Yeah he is. You know it. I know it. Both your brothers are fags. I roomed with Benjie, remember. I can tell these things. And your twin is a little pussy."
Trev felt himself getting hot under the collar. "Don't call him Benjie."
Johnny laughed. "You know, when they turn the gravity back on, you're going to be hanging from that pipe. It's a lot different trying to hold on when you're holding your weight than it is now. It's a nice drop down."
"I can handle it."
"I could help you. But I don't see why I should."
"Me either."
"You reacted to the Benjie thing. But you didn't react to me saying your twin was a pussy. That's because you believe it's true don't you?"
Trev said nothing. He wanted to lunge at Johnny, but was afraid he would puke. Space sickness was overwhelming him.
"You ever fuck his ass? I bet it's nice and tight. I can see you cornholing hour brother. It almost gives me a hard on thinking of it."
"Fuck you!"
"Oh," Johnny said. "Do I detect some fight in you? I hear you're the tough guy. Not a pussy at all. I hear you don't have a lot of friends right now. I hear you keep pissing people off."
"I have friends."
"Who's your roomie?"
"Ian Brothers."
"Another faggot. I can't believe this place has so many faggots. Fuck, the caliber of criminals is going downhill in a hurry."
Captain Hatcher came on with his warning that gravity would be restored in five minutes.
"Five minutes, kid, and then you're stuck up there until some fucking Marine comes and rescues your ass. Or unless you're willing to let yourself drop."
"It's not that far."
"Right on to a hard steel deck."
"I've jumped farther out of trees."
"I can be right there under you and grabbing you and keeping you from falling, if you want. Lower you down nice and gentle."
"I don't need your help."
"Just tell me your brother Andy and your brother Benjie are queers and pussies."
"Fuck you!"
"I like your vocabulary. Not real original, but talk like that could make you my friend. So come on, what do you say? Are they or aren't they."
"I'd rather fall and break my leg first then tell you that. And it's Andrew and Ben to you, asshole."
"I bet soon as we have gravity you're going to want to beat my ass up aren't you? And here I'm older, bigger, and stronger than you are. I like you, Trev. I can call you Trev, can't I?"
"Everybody does."
"Good. At least one person in your family is normal."
Captain Hatcher gave the minute countdown a couple more times as the boys continued their verbal sparring, but neither of them kept track of how many minutes were left.
The one minute warning did register with them, however.
"I'll be right under you, Trev. Just say the word."
"Go to hell!" Trevor intended to put power behind his voice, but it came out in a preadolescent squeak, embarrassing him and bringing a smile to Johnny's face.
"I like your spunk, Trev. I could use somebody like you around me. I'm going to be under you just because it's the cool thing to do."
The thirty second warning came. Johnny drifted under Trev and took hold of his legs, keeping his own feet touching the floor. When gravity was restored, Johnny took Trevor's full weight. He grunted, but kept hold of the younger boy, and lowered him to the deck.
"I like you kid. How you like to become a member of my new, improved Mustang Gang. I think it's time to show these assholes who really runs this ship."
Trev was intrigued by the offer. He was having a hard time making friends, mostly because he was letting his temper and his bad moods get in his way. He was angry because Andrew had a best friend. He was angry because he got stuck with a loser of a roommate. He was angry because he was on this ship when he hadn't done anything.
"I'll think about it."
"Tell me now. You know you want to join. So why wait?"
"I will, if you quit ragging on my brothers."
Johnny grinned. He liked loyal people. Trev was going to fit right in with his new gang. He was without a doubt loyal. Johnny knew Trev agreed with him about his brothers, but he stayed loyal to the end. He liked that.
"Hey, Trev. What are you in here for?"
Trev heisted a moment. He knew why he was in here. He was in here because somebody hated his father and his uncle. He was in here because he didn't do anything but play a trick on his best friend who died. He fought back a sudden tear and said, "I'm in here for killing my best friend."
"Cool. Very cool, Trev. You're awesome. You are now the first member of the New Mustang Gang."
Scooter and TJ were working their dicks hard. It felt funny to have their hands race along their shafts without feeling any weight. Scooter wished he had put some lube on his dick. He was worried about rubbing it raw and getting a blister on it. But he kept on racing his hand, as did TJ. Captain Hatcher came on with his five minute warning, and Scooter announced his was ready to cum. He let out a loud long moan, his dick swelled to what seemed like twice its normal size and he fired shot after shot of his teen cum into the air.
TJ watched, fascinated, as Scooter's sperm fired into the air, hitting the ceiling and the wall. It looked like it had been fired out of a cannon. He quickly went back to his own masturbation, and twenty seconds later he too fired out glob after glob of cum.
Both boy lay back breathing hard after their absolutely incredible cums.
"Oh my gosh," TJ said. "If jerking off is that great in zero g, I wonder what sex is like?"
Cody and Carson were trying to find out the answer, but with little success. Neither boy had the skill to get lined up, and Cody kept losing his hard on as he tried air swimming through the room to get to Carson. Finally he said, fuck it, and rubbed his dick along Carson's butt crack and cheeks. Carson jerked himself off as Cody's motions had them bouncing around the room. Neither boy thought about heading for of the beds and strapping themselves to it. Cody finally blew his wad with the same kind of intensity Scooter and TJ had felt as Carson enjoyed a wild dry cum.
Some of Cody's cum adhered to Carson's skin while the rest floated out into the air. Cody and Carson both swam around clumsily trying to get to it and eat it.
At the five minute warning they worked their way down to their beds. It was then they remembered the straps. They each strapped themselves to their own bed, wishing they had remembered them during their wild sex while bouncing around the cabin.
***** Mike and Ryan didn't get into sex, but they did spend the entire zero g time making out, casually kissing and feeling as they floated around the cabin. Making out with Ryan took Mike's mind entirely off the mess that would have to be cleaned up in the head once gravity was restored.
Jessie and Scottie laughed and giggled. They were getting a kick out of showing off their athletic skills. Both were very agile, lithe boys. Despite Jessie's prime interest in the theater, he was a very coordinated young boy, a gift that actually came in quite handy on stage. Scottie was actually able to suck his own cock, and wanted to demonstrate that as the boys did their zero g showing off. He didn't think it was quite appropriate to do in front of the captain's son, however.
Scottie had taken his uniform pants off, so he was free like Jesse was. The boys did a mini-version of what was going on in the temporary recreation hanger, with Scottie's adolescent gawkiness causing him to bump into things he hadn't intended on bumping in to, and then trying to recover. There was nothing sexual involved, though the thought of sex did enter Scottie's mind. Jesse was thinking only of his next trick. Sexual things had never been close to his mind, but he had just turned 13 and had lived in a sheltered environment.
When the final countdown came for the return of gravity both boy sat cross-legged about 6 inches over their bed, waiting to drop down without moving a muscle. 19:30 arrived. Gravity came on. They dropped with a thud. Then they both lay back and laughed until it hurt.
Jesse felt better. He knew things weren't going to be perfect, but he was where he belonged. He had a great roommate. Life was good.
Douglas was carefully trying to maneuver Ben towards the floor without giving him too much momentum. While hitting something at slow speed at zero g wasn't harmful, it did create the problem of reverse momentum. And in Ben's case it was best that he not move at all.
Once again Douglas thought about calling for help. He was sure his dad would come immediately to help, but if Douglas was nothing else, it was stubborn. He picked up some momentum of his own and eased his way between Ben and the wall, carefully stopping his momentum and holding himself still.
Wow, he thought, I'm getting good at this. I could be a spaceman very easily. He decided to push Ben towards the floor, but overconfidence got him and he pushed a little too hard.
"Oh, shit," he said as he pushed down off the wall, getting under Ben in time to keep him from hitting. Ben might not weigh anything, but he still had the inertia of a 125 pound boy, and it knocked Douglas off balance. He still managed to change Ben's direction. Now he needed to get him over the bed.
He heard Captain Hatcher's announcement. Shit, he thought, five minutes. I need him strapped to his bed before then.
He moved Ben over the bed. Ben complained only once, when Douglas grabbed the area of his wound. He let out a big yelp, and Douglas changed his position, which in turn changed Ben's direction.
By the time the three minute warning came, Douglas had Ben centered about two feet over the bed. He looked down for the belt. He couldn't see it at all. The two minute warning was announced.
"Ben, I think I screwed up. I should have gotten help. I'm going to push you down to the bed and make sure you don't float back up. I don't know where the safety belt is."
"You're doing great, Douglas, even if you did get me yowling once."
Keeping away from the wound he gently pushed Ben toward the bed and floated down with him. The one minute warning was announced. Ben hit the bed and started bouncing back up. Douglas have him another light push down. Thirty seconds was announced and the steady countdown began. Douglas realized the only way he was going to keep Ben from rising back off the bed was to drape himself over Ben's waist and legs, to avoid pressuring his injured area when gravity was restored.
The countdown hit zero, Douglas felt his weight restored, and he dropped about six inches onto Ben's lower waist and legs, one hand inadvertently grabbing Ben's crotch area. Ben grunted, more from taking on Douglas's weight, than from the grab.
Douglas immediately got up off of Ben, a concerned look on his face. "Are you okay, Ben?"
"Yeah, just surprised by your weight."
"I'm sorry."
"No you did great. I was right on the bed and my wound wasn't touched."
"I meant about the other thing. It was an accident."
"It didn't hurt that much. Just anything touching the wound makes me want to yell."
"No, I meant...."
"I know. I'm playing with you, Douglas. Don't worry, I know it was an accident. In fact....." He let his thought die there.
Douglas sat on the bed next to Ben. He couldn't help being attracted to his new roommate, and the brother of his own brother's best friend. He didn't want to be attracted to him, but he was, both emotionally and physically.
"In fact, what?" he whispered.
Now it was Ben's turn to be nervous. He was attracted to Douglas, and the same thoughts went through his mind as went through Douglas's. He wanted to say, In fact you can put your hand there again. Instead he said, "In fact, you did a great job even if your hand did slip. I'm glad you're my roommate. I hope we can be good friends."
Douglas wanted to grab Ben's hand, but he sat stiffly on the bed looking into his new friend's eyes. He liked what he saw, as Ben's eyes were looking right back at him. Douglas could feel a familiar stirring in his groin area. He kept his gaze on Ben and said, "I think we will be. I really, do."
"Really?"
"Really. Now, I better call dad so he can make sure you came through this okay."
Douglas broke his gaze and got up from the bed. He was surprised when Ben grabbed his hand.
"Thanks, Douglas," he whispered. Then he added, "A lot of the cadets here wouldn't have done what you did. I know my first roommate wouldn't have."
"It's what friends do," Douglas said, and he went to the room's comm and dialed sick bay.
Ely stood in front of Captain Hatcher's desk. "I think there's more than one person involved in trying to sabotage our mission." Zjan-Ren, the Kriton Security Officer was sitting on the couch.
"I don't know if there is or not, Ely, but I tend to agree," the captain said. "Whoever it is an amateur rookie, which has helped us. But even rookies are bound to get things right eventually. I'd just like to know why somebody would want to sabotage us."
"I can think of a lot of reasons. Whitaker being at the top of my list."
"I just can't see him condoning that. He might be an asshole, but he's still the Commander of the entire SFA. He's got too much to lose by doing this. And he agreed to some things that will actually help us."
"There's more going on around that pompous asshole then we think. I don't trust him. He's got an agenda that's different from the SFA. I just wish I knew what it was."
"Well, regardless, we're getting some men to fill in gaps. Like you're new Chief Petty Officer. He seems to be a good one."
"Yeah he is. He knows his shit, that's for sure. Have you filled in all your openings, yet?"
"Not yet. Why?"
"We need a half dozen of the meanest nastiest Marines around."
"We have Marines," Zjan-Ren said. "Don't need more."
"Right. Marines in charge of training cadets."
"And you have a problem with that, Ely?" Zjan-Ren said, with a tint of sarcasm in his voice.
"No, of course not. They're doing a great job. What I want is six Marines we can trust. Six Marines who won't take shit, won't have their own agenda, and will follow every order handed to them. We need them to guard what we have. The training Marines don't have the time. Cadets won't cut it. We need engineering, the shuttle bay and hangar area, everything that's vital guarded. Right now it's too easy for a saboteur to get around this ship. Anybody can go anywhere. We need to make it tough to get where you don't belong."
"Agreed. I'll get right on it," Hatcher said.
"I can get us a contingent of Kriton marines, Captain," Zjen-Ren offered. "You won't find anyone nastier."
"Earth produces some pretty good soldiers my friend. And I want a cotingent reporting to me, not to you."
"You don't trust me, Captain?"
"I trust you, but for now I want to go with a known quantity."
"They should report to you, directly, not to Stone or to Zjen-Ren," Ely said.
"Stone is in charge of the Marine contingent, and Zjen-Ren is in charge of Security. "
"I don't trust Stone. He's unprofessional, and somebody with his own agenda. He's here for Colonel Stone, not for the mission. The only reason he's here is to save his fucking ass, and it shows. And as for him," Ely said, looking at the big Kriton, "I simply don't know him. Let him check to see if the doors are locked. I'm like you Captain. I want our precious stuff protected by a know quantity."
"I don't promise anything there, but I'll see what I can do. What else?"
"Right now, until they get here, we need anybody we can spare to guard the new gravity generator. If that gets damaged, I'll tell you this. Our mission is over. There is no replacing it. Everything I have won't cut it. That machine is our mission."
"Understood. It will have to be some navy crewmen, including your Chief, as well as..," he paused looking at the Kriton and then at Eli, "Zjen-Ren. But I will have Marines here within the week."
"Thank you, Captain. Understood.. You've always been the best."
"Flattery will get you everywhere, Ely. I appreciate your dedication to the mission. If not for you we would have folded long ago."
"Okay, now that we've finished with the bullshit, let's admit it. Me and you have always made a good team."
Ely and Zjen-Ren left the captain's office, neither one acknowledging the other, and Hatcher got to work getting the needed Marines.
The spaceship approached they yacht, "Honey of the Stars", cautiously. The Geldon symbols and writing would normally have scared a private ship off, but the yacht slowed for a meet. The ship stopped two kilometers away. A shuttle launched and headed to the yacht, docking at an air lock.
A man and a boy got up from their seats.
"You don't know how bad I wanted your ass, kid. You're lucky the captain liked you. You're a fucking cute sexy bugger."
"Fuck you," Matt said. He was tired of everything. Tired of spaceships. Tired of being a prisoner. And more than tired of this man, Sam. He just wanted to be home. Or at a party. Or just drinking a beer and smoking a joint. He didn't even know why they kidnapped him. He knew he wasn't the Ambassador's son, but apparently they didn't.
The shuttle pilot opened the hatch, and the man and the boy entered the airlock, waiting for the hatch to the yacht to open. The man reached down and squeezed Matt's dick and balls. Matt flinched, cut kept looking ahead.
"You like that, don't you? You know you wanted me. You know you like sucking cock."
The hatch opened and they boarded the yacht. Commander Jensen, of the SFA met them. He wasn't wearing a uniform. The man figured he was an employee of the corporation that owned the yacht, Alliance Shipbuilding. He didn't really care.
"For a Geldon, you look amazingly like an Earthman," Jensen said.
"Ha, ha," Sam said sarcastically. "Maybe some day your might be funny. You knew who you were meeting. Now, where's our cashola?"
Jensen looked down at Matt. "Is this the boy?"
"No! This is my fucking pet parrot. Damn, you don't need a brain to work for your fancy company?"
Jensen said nothing. He looked at Matt and did a double take.
"You're the stupid one, asshole!"
"What do you mean?"
"You kidnapped the wrong boy."
