The Bear Man by dbearsea
I was at the Eagle, nursing a beer. Been there practically all evening. I'd just got back from a couple of weeks in the mountains. Feelin' kinda grubby an' probably looked like shit. I felt like it too. I was up there trying to get together with this bear of a guy again, an' either I couldn't find him or he just disappeared over the winter. I was a mess an' feeling sorry for myself. Most of the guys in the bar were giving me a wide berth, and I don't blame 'em. Except this one guy who must have figured somethin' was buggin' me; he came over, sat beside me an' bought me another beer. He was a big bear of a guy, like this guy I was trying to find. He was handsome too, big bushy grey beard, silver haired, a 'stache that almost hid his lips. "Wanna talk about it?" he asked. Well, I ain't no kid, but he looked like a big ole granddaddy bear that a kid could pour his heart out to. His gazing brown eyes told me he'd understand. I stared at my beer for a while. I strangely trusted him an' began to tell him my story.
"I knew this guy; he was a bear. No, a real bear, ya know what I mean? I love the bastard an' now I lost him. I don't know where he is or where he's gone to or if I'll ever see him again." I blinked back some tears.
"I first met this guy one summer couple years back. He was livin' in this cabin up in the high country. I was on this trail I never took before, an' all of a sudden, there he was. It was like he was waitin' for me, or expectin' me. Oh, maybe he seen or heard me comin'. He can see an' hear things lotsa time that I can't. You shoulda seen him. A big, hairy, naked bear standin' - legs spread wide - at the top of the trail. I nearly popped one off right there." I chuckled.
"Like I said he was a real bear of a man. He had a pelt on his chest, back an' arms as good as any bear's. His fat tits were buried in his chest hair. Yeah, we got together all right. I love huntin' through that thick tangle of fur for his tits an' suck 'em. He liked it too, I can tell. An' his lips was surrounded by a thick black beard an' 'stache. I really liked nuzzlin' though all that fur for those lips. Naked, like he was most times, he had fur goin' down his belly an' his back side to his ass. His thick cock was surrounded by a nest of black fur. Ever go for a guy's cock through all that fur?"
"I went up to his cabin several times that summer. I'd stayed a couple of days an' we had a real good time. He was a real lover, gentle an' rough at the same time. You know what I mean? We'd go down to that icy stream down a ways from his cabin to wash up. He'd dug out a little pool in the steam so that he could get in all the way. Afterwards, we'd lay naked in the sun to dry off an' get to playin' with each other. I'd run my fingers through that mat of chest hair, feelin' for those tits. Then I'd use my tongue on 'em an' start bitin' 'em. He'd go crazy, an' grab my head with those paws of his an' push me down hard on his tits. By now, I'd be on top of him. It was like layin' on top of a mountain. He'd cup my ass with his hands an' grind our bellies together an' we'd both be good an' hard. He always wanted me to fuck him - hard. I'd plow into his ass while he laid on his back. You know, I'd thought a guy like him would always want to do the fuckin'. But he really liked bein' fucked, even though my cock can't begin to compare in size to his, an' he'd kinda like purr while I was drivin' into him. Then he'd turn me over an' fuck me. You know, big as his cock was, it never hurt. It was like a greased pole slidin' into my ass, an' even when he started fuckin' me hard, geez, it never felt so good. An' when he cum, he'd growl deep an' low, like it was comin' from real deep down inside him. He'd never get enough lovin', or give enough. It was always a long time before we'd fall asleep when we went to bed. An' you know what it feels like to wake up, layin' naked on a bear skin, with your back grindin' against a furry chest an' a stiff cock grindin' against your asshole?"
"I saw again him for a couple years after that, an' then, last summer, I stayed on. It was kinda funny. He never asked me to stay, an' I never asked him if I could. I just did, like it was planned that way all along. It was a kinda lazy summer. We'd go fishin' or check his traps for small game or find some his favorite berry bushes for ripe berries. Rest of the time we romped an' played like we WAS a couple of bears."
"Then, something strange happened. One evening, he pushed me into the bedroom alone, an' told me to lock an' bolt the door from the inside. An', no matter what I hear, I wasn't supposed to come out. An' that I'll be safe indoors. Cripes, what was I supposed to think? So, the first time this happened, after it was dark, well, it wasn't really dark, cause there was a full moon, I heard the front door slam as he went out. Then I heard a soft growl, like a bear, an' I thought, what the hell, an' then soft footsteps leadin' away from the cabin, except that it didn't sound like a man's footsteps. Then all was silent. Nothing else happened that night, or at least I fell asleep, alone for the first time, an' didn't hear anything after that. Cause when I got up early the next morning, he was sittin' in the cabin lookin' real beat. I asked him what was goin' on last night, but he didn't answer, or just said 'nothin'. I asked was there bears around last night, an' again, he wouldn't say anything. Except that he gathered me in those huge arms an' crush me to his chest. An' I forgot about askin' him any more questions, if you know what I mean."
"Well, things continued for normal after that, an' I'd really forgot about that night. Then about a month later, it happened again. We were doin' some lovin' after supper, then all of a sudden he pushed me into the bedroom an' told me to lock the doors. Later, I heard the same sounds again. The door slammed, an animal growl, an' someone, or something walked away from the cabin. The bedroom window was on the wrong side, so I couldn't see anything even if I wanted to. Like, my imagination was startin' to run wild, cause it was the full moon again! Come morning, he was back, an' again, he wouldn't answer my questions. The look on his face said 'don't ask'. Then he picked me up in his arms an' carried me to the bedroom, an' hell, who's gonna ask any more questions."
"I told myself, the next time, I was gonna see what the hell's goin' on. Sure enough, at the next full moon, he told me to go to the bedroom, an' lock it up. An' he told me to stay put, like he knew what I was thinkin' about doin'. Yeah, it happened again. I sneaked out quiet as I could, after the front door slammed, an' quickly looked out the window. I saw him, in the shadows, an' thought my eyes were playin' tricks on me. He seemed to drop down on his hands an' grow dark, like he was turnin' into a bear! A real bear! He, or it, started to walk away on all fours, an' I don't know if I was crazy or what. I opened the door quietly. Yeah, now I was crazy. I followed that bear, not too close, til it came to a clearing in the woods an' stopped. An' another bear came into the clearing! I didn't know what to think. The two bears approached each other an' I thought there was gonna be one helluva fight. Cause they were both big an' mean lookin'. But instead of fightin', they nuzzled each other an' then one of them began to mount the other one an' started humpin' her. Or at least I figured it gotta be a her, cause they must be mating. But that's crazy, in the middle of night? An' they ain't suppose to be mating in midsummer! They seem to be goin' at it for a long time, cause I thought bears don't spend a lot of time with their 'act'. Then the craziest thing happened. After the bear doin' the humpin' got down, the bottom bear circled around him, an' mounted him! Holy shit! They're both hims an' they're fuckin' each other! I couldn't believe what I was seein'. By then, I thought I'd better get outta there before they found me out. I liked gettin' fucked by my bear, but these bears are different. An' there's a helluva lot I don't understand about this."
"Well, I managed to find my way back to the cabin, an' shut the bedroom door like he said. I found him in the morning as usual, but I knew better than to ask any questions. He looked at me kinda funny, then he cuffed me on my shoulder, like a big bear cuffin' a little bear. He pushed me on my hands an' knees, an' started nuzzlin' an' lickin' my asshole an' then began to fuck me from the rear like them two bears. Yeah, I was bein' fucked by a big furry bear. An' when he cum, he let out a growl like I heard from one of the bears last night. He collapsed on top of me breathin', hard. Then, he whispered in my ear, real quiet like, 'Fuck me, little bear'. He got on his hands an' knees offering his ass to be fucked. I licked his ass good like he did me. He groan an' squirm as my tongue attacked his asshole, an' was begging me to fuck him. I positioned my cock at his hole an' drove it in all at once."
"I was wonderin' what would happen the next full moon. But, when the time came, nothin'. He didn't tell me to lock myself in the bedroom, an' he didn't go out. We had sex, fell asleep, woke up, fucked an' sucked an' it went on like that all night. The next coupla weeks went by like always, an' by then it was gettin' into the fall. I had to get back to the city, an' told him it was time for me to leave. I asked him how he managed over the winter, an' he says, 'Oh, I just hole up'. He took me in those huge arms, then got down to suck my cock. Cripes, I thought he was going to swallow me whole an' even when I shot my load he wouldn't let go. I wanted to suck him or give him my ass for another fuck, but he wrapped his arms around me with a deep tongue kiss, an' sent me on my way. Ya know, I thought he looked kinda sad when I left. I know I was an' almost turned back. Now I wished I had."
"I thought about him all winter. So, a couple weeks ago, I made my way back to his cabin soon as the high country opened up. I thought I knew the way, but when I got there, I couldn't find any cabin. I found the stream where it should have been, but there was no swimming hole like I thought there was. Every thing else looked right; the trees, the mountains, an' all. I backtracked several times, thinkin' that I'd made a wrong turn somewhere, but I couldn't find a thing. I'd always come back to the same spot an' I knew that it was the right place, except there was no cabin where there shoulda been one. I stayed 'bout a week up there, hopin' he would show up, but I never saw nobody. So here I am, cryin' like a damn fool over a lost man."
I grabbed my new friend's arm, "Am I crazy? Did I imagine all this? Who was he? Was he a man who turns into a bear or a bear that turned into a man?"
Epilogue:
Was it a dream or was it a voice in my sleep, telling me to go to the bear meadow on midsummer night? So I did, and wandered out into the meadow where I had seen the two bears fuckin' each other just last year. It was strangely quiet and warm, and I had the impulse, or was it that voice in my head again, to get naked. I took off my clothes and threw in a pile and sat naked on the grass. I watched the moon rise, and realize that this was a full moon! Things are liable to happen! I sensed movement in the woods beyond the meadow. I could make out bear shapes, not just one, but all around me. They came out to the edge of the meadow, and I could make out all sorts of bears; brown bears, black bears, cubs, grizzled bears. One bear, a magnificent black bear, broke out of the circle and came toward me. I was not afraid, because that voice in my head said that there was nothing to fear. As the bear neared me, he changed and suddenly my bear stood before me. He smiled and held out his hand to me; I took his hand. I stood up and he put his arms around me and I wrapped my arms around him in return, full of joy and relief. I felt my feet leave the ground and soon we were rising above the meadow. The gathered bears looked up, and I thought I could hear something like a cheer. We must have risen rapidly, for soon I could no longer make out the bears in the meadow. What followed was almost dreamlike. I had no sense of moving. The only thing real was the embrace of my bear. I had no sense of time, but it occurred to me that time didn't matter. Soon we were at a meadow again. The same meadow? I can't be sure. There were bears, and human bears too. I mean, they were men, guys, and they were bearded and furry like my bear, or me. But bears and humans seem to blend together. Almost like one moment he was a man, then another moment he was a bear. My bear said, "You are now in the realm where bear and man are one. You are a man, and also a bear. Welcome."
