Temple Street 4: Hiatus By Bear Pup
Okay, I know folks are waiting for the next instalment of Temple Street and I know that very few of you will be happy with this: The characters are not cooperating with me at all. Urkkija had such promise and Lord was so powerful, and I thought I had a real storyline with the animalistic Carter-Hughes guys. But I've scrapped and rewritten Chapter "4" NINE TIMES in just over two weeks. It simply Does Not Work. The story was intended as a one-off, and even with the tedious (as tedious for me as for you) setup, it's just not working as a series.
I will be back to Temple Street at a later date. I promise. Roberto, Chip, David (all three of you) and Jameson (my very first correspondent), I really do feel bad for letting you down. For those of you who wrote once or never wrote at all, I apologise to you as well. Feel free to nag me, but it will definitely be a while before the next instalment is good enough that I will be willing to post it.
