Alright, so I got some suggestions from you guys, and I am going to use some of them in the next few chapters. As for this chapter, it's going to be brief, and it's going to be very little of the league and more of Jessie and what is going on with her and where she is. But I promise that I am going to do a sex chapter next time, so don't worry if that is what you are waiting for.
Well thanks to all the people who gave me feedback, I really appriciate it. Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Teenage Justice League
Chapter 4
Breath was few and far between, she had to do it sparingly because she couldn't give away her hiding spot. She could watch every night the group of punks, watch them party, drink, shoot up, even attack people on the streets from her little hide away.
She wondered how it had even come to be, this little spot in the pillar where someone had carved away a hole. But she wondered why the hole was so carefully carved, so carefully made to look like it wasn't a hole at all. But she knew that the idiots she was near were not the ones who could do something so wisely. So she feared not at night, and at day she was not around to wonder what else it could have been used for.
As the music died down and the last cigarrettes were put out she knew it was safe to creep out and continue her hunt. So far she had only found one reliable place, a few miles from the bridge she spent most of her time was a hangout for a group of misfits. More like three misfits and an asshole who thought he owned them.
Today she had decided that she would be taking them under her wings, and that this asshole would have to find a new group of lackies. But she wasn't sure of how that was going to work, so her walk down the grassy paths and half paved side walks she she thought of what to do. Most likely she was going to talk to the asshole in front of the others, convincing the three she had chosen as allies in the process that they did not need him.
When she came to the corner right before the hangout she stopped. She had to make sure she was making the right decision. She had to eye them all up and down one last time to make sure that they would do, not just anyone could be used to help her uncle become free again. The only thought that ran through Jessie's head besides revenge on the Teenage Justice League.
The asshole wasn't much of a threat. He was 6'2, a good 350 pounds and besides some brute strength he was relatively stupid. On the other hand, the three that Jessie were after had showed her enough to know they were worth the risk of getting caught up with him.
She had watched them pickpocket two days earlier, and rob a convenient store yesterday, not to mention the way they seemed to expertly get in an out of stores without being watched to steal food, and their fighting skills as well. They would be perfect to help her, and they were already willing to work for someone, Jessie just had to prove to them that she was the one who deserved their attention and loyalty.
She already had the perfect plan for them to get some weapons, Starr Labs was doing research on stun batons for police, and she was sure they would be able to find other weapons in the lab.
Her goal was to get to the man and let him know a thing or two, than she would convince the teens to help her. Getting rid of the gorilla man was going to be tough, he was big, but she knew that meant stupid. Out of her pocket she picked a stone and lugged it at the back of his head, than ducked behind a small wall. She knew what he was doing, looking for a suspect.
After a minute or two she stood back up and wailed a larger one at his head, ducking back down just as quick as before. The man turned, and this time she could hear him yelling.
"You pathetic freaks...what the fuck do you think you're doing? If I get hit with another rock I'm holding your dinners for tonight." His words echoed around the area. She could hear some assorted grumbles from the group, but none of them made so much as a complaint against him. That meant they feared him, so fear was in their bones, she could use that against them.
She grabbed the last rock near her and lugged it at his head, hitting him dead on and she was able to watch his head bounce forward before she ducked again. She laughed to herself as she heard grunting, no doubt from the beast of a man. Her uncle would have been so proud of her, outsporting a creep like that so that she could be the creep they respected and felt loyal too.
She stood up when she heard a shuffling and watched as the two boys picked the man up and tossed him into a dumpster, his words of annoyance being shut out as the lid fell shut. The girl of the group grabbed the metal rod that he usually carried and pushed it through the latch on the dumpster. They smiled, and Jessie slid out from her hiding spot.
"Good job, I didn't think it would take long for you to realize you were helping an idiot." Jessie commended them, knowing that sucking up usually ended with good results. Especially for the Luther's, and of course, if it didn't she could always enforce what she wanted.
"Who are you?"
"My name's Jessie, Jessie Luther, the niece of Lex Luther, and the next big name in criminal history. But that's not important now, what is important is that you three introduce yourselves to me." Jessie smiled warmly and waited. Finally the girl stepped forward, she seemed to have more authority in her, but when Jessie thought she was going to complain or argue, she smiled and began to speak the thing Jessie wanted to know.
"My name's Tasha, and that's Lucas..." she pointed to the left of her to a tall boy with blond hair. It was long, down to his shoulders, and filled with dirt, she was going to have to take care of that. Her assistants were going to at least look good. "and over their is Kendral." She pointed this time to a well built black boy, his chest was exposed through a ratty t-shirt, and his head was practically completely shaven. He was considerably cleaner than Lucas though.
Tasha herself was also black, with long black hair, and her outfit was the complete opposite of the boys. It was a stylish pair of jeans and a nice sweater, but Jessie assumed that was either because the gorilla of a man that had kept them wanted her to look good, or needed her to look good for heists.
"Well it is nice to meet you all. Now, I think I should begin to tell you what I have in store for you, because after all, your names will be tagging along with mine in history as I spoke of before." Jessie smiled when she got no arguement, it truly had been very easy to win them over. "Anyways, my plan is to free my uncle, but not until after we have defeated the Justice League, which will require some training, but I think you guys can handle it."
"Wait a second, you want the three of us to fight all of them? We don't even have any special powers, not even any weapons, we wouldn't stand a chance." Lucas interjected and showed signs of discontent with the idea.
"Their are four of us, and we will be able to defeat them. I have seen them fight, I have seen their powers, we just have to out do them. Tonight we are stealing weapons from Starr Labs, and with them I will try and create weapons that will work perfectly on our opponents, after all, two of them are mere humans, and as for Superboy, I've got enough kryptonite in my pocket to bring him to his knees." Jessie couldn't help but laugh out loud, an evil laugh that had her new found 'friends' watching her strangely.
"Maybe we...." Jessie couldn't let them continue to interrupt her, that would ruin things.
"Don't interrupt, trust me, their will be time to interject as we continue with plans. But for now we need you to get to work if we are to get into the labs. I need you to steal fabric, plenty of it, so that I can make you outfits, or at least decent clothing. Choose as you see fit, and try to get me a sewing machine, if we are to be ready by tonight I'll be working all day."
Jessie didn't hardly finish before the three were off together. She knew what they were doing, they were doing as they had been asked. She also knew that it would be only a matter of time before they would return with what she wanted. And it was going to work out perfect, she would have costumes for them, and after tonight, she would have weapons for them, and with the weapons they could get names. She was going to bring down the Justice League if it was the last thing she did, her uncle would be avenged.
Sure enough twenty minutes later Tasha was back with a handful of fabrics, ranging from black to gold, and only ten minutes later Lucas returned with a hand load more and Kendral with the machine. Immediately they showed Jessie where their master had been living, and let her use the space to create their outfits. She couldn't really get a measurement for them, but that wasn't much of importance to her.
She was going to make some nice outfits, and if they didn't fit she would make them again, or fix the minor details they required.
Outside Lucas, Kendral and Tasha were busy talking, chatting it up and what not. Suddenly the topic of their new leader came into the conversation.
"She's real confident, but I don't know. Us against the Super League? Even with weapons I'm not sure we stand a chance." Lucas kicked a rock with his shoe and took a seat next to Tasha. He wrapped an arm around her and kissed the back of his neck. She giggled and pushed him away. The two had been dating forever, but she was trying to think just like he was.
"Hell, we aren't punks, I think we could take 'em with the right gear and shit. Plus, if that bitch would listen to us she would know that we could get her some more help. She didn't have to shut us up so quick back there." Kendral remarked with anger.
"Go get them, bring them here, I'll let her know that she needs to make two more costumes." Tasha replied to Kendral and he rushed off down a path. Lucas gave Tasha a quizzical look.
"What if she doesn't want more help?"
"She's going to get it whether she wants it or not...and their's plenty of fabric to go around. Not to mention we're going to need all the help we can get." Tasha replied as she walked into the small building. Jessie heard her footsteps and stopped sewing, she was already done with one of the guy's outfits, and was now working on the second one. She stood up and waited for Tasha to speak, when she didn't, Jessie had to hold her tongue before demanding an excuse for being interrupted.
"Did you want something Tasha?"
"Yeah, I wanted to tell you to make two more costumes. Kendral's brothers, they're twins, they're young, but the guy you saw with us, he tested some splicing chemicals on them or something. They're strong, they'll be able to help." Tasha had shown a lot of courage outside, but inside with Jessie, she suddenly seemed to know that she was not in charge.
"If they're spliced they don't need outfits, they'll go as they are. By the way...what are they?" Jessie asked with intrigue, but it came out of her mouth as an acceptance to something she wasn't willing to accept. She didn't want Tasha to know that they needed more help, but she truly was happy for it.
"Well, they're twins, but you wouldn't know that from the looks of them now..."
"I asked what they were...not their life story." Jessie barked back. Tasha jumped and shook her head.
"Sorry, um, like a rhino or something, I don't know, he's got a horn, and the other one's a bear. They're much bigger than they should be, like almost as big as Kendral." Tasha replied, and bit her tongue. But Jessie had already started to pick up on it, something was different about Kendral, he was definetly much stronger looking than any other well built teenager she had ever seen.
"Good, I'm sure I'll be done by the time Kendrall comes back with them." Tasha was going to say something, she wanted to know how Jessie knew that Kendral had went for them, but Jessie pushed her out the door and shut it behind her.
She immediately went back to work, after all, she could smile because a shirt was no longer needed for this last boy's outfit. Kendral was going to go shirtless, and Jessie had a feeling that the dark skin she saw underneath the boy's tattered shirt would also sport a little bit of hair at night, she was almost positive that Kendral had been spliced with wolf genes, and her assumption was that he was some sort of man wolf, a more real type of werewolf. She laughed, things were coming together very well.
Outside Lucas and Tasha were making out against the wall when Kendral came back with his brothers. The two of them laughed like small children at the couple, causing them to break their kiss. Kendral smiled and Tasha could tell that he wanted to know what had happened with Jessie. If a decision had been made about his brothers.
"She wants them to stay, but she says no outfits. She wants them to fight as they are." Tasha replied, and before she could finish the boys stripped to what they were, because they were truly the creatures they were supposed to be, of course, with the looks of a human, almost as far gone as Tiger though.
"I never thought we'd get these off." The bear laughed, running his arm across his chest to ruffle up his fur.
"She's going to want to call them by their animal names...we might as well not tell her their real names. That away if we got caught we can at least hope they can get away and never be known on tv or anything by name." Kendral replied. Tasha and Lucas shook their head, the two animal boys paid little attention. "Is she almost done?"
"Yes, she's making the last outfit I think. She's quick." Tasha replied.
"Not really, it's going to get dark, and she said we were hitting the labs tonight, she's only got an hour or two of day light to tell us the plan." Kendral replied.
"An hour will do just fine." Jessie replied as she walked out with three outfits. She tossed the feminine one to Tasha, and Tasha rushed to the building to change. The next she tossed to Lucas and watched him run after her. She already knew they were dating, she had easily read it. Just like she was reading Kendral, he gave too much off with his temper and attitude. "Here you go Kendral." Kendral grabbed what was tossed at him, a pair of dark black pants, he didn't mind changing in front of anyone. Pulling off his pants he exposed himself to Jessie, she smiled.
She had read him right, he was quite bold, but very obviously gay. He wasn't showing off to her, he was ignoring her as he stood naked, and pulled on the pants. When they were on his slipped back on his boots and stood there.
"The shirt, take it off." Jessie demanded in her most demanding voice.
"Why?"
"Because I already know you're secret, it will work better for us, not to mention I'm sure that shirt won't last through many more changes." Jessie replied, and watched as Kendral pulled off his shirt. Almost as soon as he cast it to the ground the others came rushing out in their outfits, they were matching, a pair of dark blue pants with black stripes up the side. Lucas's shirt was black, with a dark blue dot in the center. Tasha's shirt was a tank top, and it had a bright yellow diamond in it's center. Jessie smiled, she herself was in her own outfit, no longer the Holly one, a more conservative business suit for a woman. A short skirt, t-shirt and dress jacket.
"We look amazing." Tasha smiled, and the five of them gathered around her. The boys even stopped playing around to listen to her, apparently Kendral had told them earlier on the walk back, or they must have sensed her importance.
"Tonight we get our weapons, and with them we will start planning for our first attack. As soon as dark falls we will hit the labs, and afterwards, if we are successful in getting three weapons I will get us a good meal." Jessie smiled, she was amazed with the short amount of time it had taken her to make new alliances.
"Why only three...their are five of us." Lucas asked, counting them all again twice to make sure he was right.
"Because only myself, you and your girlfriend will recieve a weapon. Kendral and his brothers are well adapted to fight with out them." She smiled at Kendral, he managed to force a grin back. "And not to mention, we only need three. But I'll tell you more afterwards, for now relax, tonight will be easy."
After three hours of restlessness from the street teenagers Jessie finally returned from the building. The five of them practically jumped from where they had been sitting and without word followed her. They snuck around corners of buildlings, hiding in alley ways until she called for them to cross the streets, she was dressed normal enough, they were far too outlandish of outfits for someone to not know that some was going on with them.
It only took an hour to get there, not bad for creeping through side streets. Jessie called for The Rhino and had him side of the wall in the back. It burst open with ease, and not an alarm to off. Obviously the side of buildling can't be strapped like a door for security.
Jessie led the way down a hallway and opened the first door with ease, she knew that the rest wouldn't be easy. It would only be a matter of time before they ran into a security guard, if not more than one. Jessie pushed open the second door and saw the guard, he was older, but looked to still be in shape, luckily enough for them he wasn't look backward at them.
"Get him." She whispered, and Lucas crept up slowly, he got the guard off guard with a side kick to the face, and before the guard knew anything the gun he was carrying was in Tasha's hand, and his arms were bound behind his back by a rope, Kendral looking at him with a smile. "Good job"
Jessie walked by him, gagging guard with a hankerchief pulled from her breast pocket, it was more than just a gag it was a note, a note that would lead the Justice League right to her. But she continued to lead the way through another door, and down a short hall, before stopping at a lab marked authorized personnel only.
Jessie tried to open it, but she realized that it was locked, and looked over at the key pad lock. She didn't have any weapons to open it. Nor did she have any skill with her to decode it. She was going to have use the muscle she had brought along, but she knew that would trigger an alarm.
"Alright, the alarms going to go off, so when we get the door open I want you three to stand guard..." She pointed to Kendral and his brothers. "We will go in and get the weapons, then we make a break for it. I want Rhino over here to break open the wall and see where it leads, try and see if any of the rooms close by lead to the outside from the wall. We need a quick get away." Jessie waved her hand and Kendral kicked the door down.
The alarm went off and they all went to work Rhino ran through the wall of the room next to it, and found no escape so he continued to try other rooms. Jessie ran into the room and pointed to a drawer, Tasha ripped it open and pulled out the weapon inside, it was a ray gun, a small one though, but Jessie signaled for it to be taken.
She pointed to another drawer and Lucas pulled out a large rod, he shook his head but grabbed it anyways. Meanwhile Jessie pulled out a similar gun like Tasha's only larger and than signaled for them to make their exit. When they walked out of the room they saw Rhino and Bear searching for an exit, and Kendral knocking out another guard.
The five of them followed her out towards the original exit, on the way knocking out more guards. At one point, Jessie grabbed the rod from Lucas, stopped, aimed it at a guard and pushed a small button on the end of it, a large electric shock wave came flying out and hit three guards following them. The five stood in amazement. Jessie smiled, tossed the rod at Tasha and spoke. "That's yours, you should give Lucas he's freeze gun."
Lucas and Tasha both smiled and examined their weapons.
"No time for that, let's move." Jessie led them out of the building, and Lucas didn't have to be told what to do, when they all were out he aimed his ray and froze the exit they had made. They were home free, and it was late enough to run back on the streets.
The police arrived to late, the only evidence...
