Summer Construction II
Summer Construction II
"The Date"
By Joey E
Here is the second installment of "Summer Construction". Thanks for the overwhelming responses to the first chapter of this series. I have tried to respond to every response I have received. I'm glad all of you enjoyed it and I have decided to continue it as you can see. I found this second chapter a little harder to write, but I hope it continues to be a great story. This is a work of fiction. All similarities to real life are strictly coincidental. The rights belong to the author, Joey E. Unauthorized reproduction in any form is strictly prohibited. "Hello?" I said as I walked through the front door of my house.
"Hey, Joe, we're in here!" I heard my Mom say. I walked down the short hallway and into the family room where they were.
"Hey, Joe, ever hear of leaving a note?" Dad said with a smile on his face.
"Oh, sorry, guys, I didn't. I sort of left in a hurry," I said sitting down.
"Well, try next time," Dad said.
"Sure," I said. I had no problem telling them what I was doing within reason. I understood it was still their house and they basically gave me the freedom to do anything, anytime as long as I let them know if I wasn't going to be home for the night or for dinner.
"Oh, by the way," I said, "Thanks for the early wake up call this morning."
My mom laughed. "We thought you'd like that. They came at seven thirty in the morning."
"Well, enjoy it, son. They'll be back tomorrow morning," Dad said.
"Thanks, mom and dad. Thanks a lot. Remind me to sleep in the basement tonight," I said.
"I thought it would be a nice thing for you to do. Waking up early in the morning..." Dad said.
"It's Summer Vacation, Dad," I said as I got up to go into the kitchen to get something to drink.
I got to bed earlier than usual, since I was going on less then five hours of sleep from the previous night. And just as I thought, I was awoken bright and early at 8:30AM by the sound of pounding again. I tried to roll over and block out the sound with my pillows, but nothing worked. I groaned and crawled out of bed. I made sure to put a pair of mesh shorts on before I went downstairs in case anything decided to poke out. As usual, he was hard as a rock.
I went downstairs to the kitchen. I looked out the kitchen window to see if I could see Joey working on the back of the house. I couldn't find him. I went to the front of the house to see if he was there. Finally, I just groaned in frustration and called the dog's name to give me an excuse to go outside.
We went out back. I attached her to her leash and stood on the back step. Sure enough, not five seconds later, he appeared, wearing a gigantic grin on his face.
"You look like you just woke up," he said, laughing.
I frowned. "Yeah....again!"
He just laughed some more. "Well, anyway, I gotta get back to work. But are you free this evening perhaps?"
"I gotta go out today, but I can arrange my time to be back here by 4:30, that is," I said, looking away from him, "if you want to go out again..."
"Bud, can I use your bathroom?" he asked, all of a sudden.
I immediately looked at him again and I'm sure I gave a look of confusion.
He grinned at me. I was still wondering why he asked that out of the blue, but I answered, "Uh, sure...come on in," I said, opening the sliding glass door.
"Uh, it's right over there down...."
He grabbed me by the waist, and pulled me into the powder room with him. As soon as we were out of sight, he put his hand on the back of my head and drew me in for a kiss. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him back, full-opened mouth kiss. So, that's what he wanted to do, I thought to myself.
He broke the kiss and started to chuckle. "Now do you get it?" He asked.
"Sure, do," I said, smiling.
"Now is there any question about whether I want to go out again with you or not?" he asked as he rubbed his hardening cock on against mine. From what I could judge, he seemed to be very well endowed too.
"Not a doubt in my mind," I answered.
"Good, bud. Be here at 4:30."
"I will, Joey, I will," I said. I could melt right then and there from the heat coming off his body. I had never really been with someone my size before and it was totally awesome and hot.
"All right, Joe. See you at 4:30. You better be here..."
"Hey," I said, smiling. "I'll be here. I wouldn't miss it for the world, dude."
He winked at me and then left the room and went back outside. I took a deep breath and sighed. What a day this is going to be, I thought to myself.
I DID have some stuff today. I tried to keep myself busy, trying not think about this stud that was going to be waiting me. I had to do some things at school at my summer job, not officially starting yet, but I had to be in nonetheless. I went out to lunch with a friend from college and went back home afterwards.
I couldn't stop thinking about this guy all day long. Going back home didn't help me either. I saw him in the front yard as I pulled up in my car into the driveway. I saw him wink at me and grin. I smiled back. May I remind you, this guy was hot! 5'6", buzzed hair, toned, smooth and cute as fuck.
I got out of my car and had to walk pass him to get to the front door. As I passed him, he said in a low voice, "I hope you're ready for tonight."
I turned around and shook my head yes. I walked into the house and went immediately to my room. I closed the blinds this time and closed my door and laid on my bed. I quickly took my 6" cock out which was hard as a rock and started stroking heavily. Images of this guy flew around my head as I thought about his hard, glistening body rubbing against mine. His lips pressed to mine. His tongue licking my body over. It wasn't long until I felt that familiar feeling in my insides. I looked down at my hard cock that my hand was stroking and let out a small moan. Semen flew up to my face, hitting me in the chin, on my chest, and finally on my stomach. Not really more than average, but the length of the climax was extended.
"Woah," I said to myself as I took a look down at the cum on my body. "Fuckin' awesome."
I got up, found a towel to wipe that shit off my smooth body. I smiled to myself. Fuck, I gotta have him.
The day dragged on, with me unpacking some shit from my dorm room. After that, it was about 3PM. I went outside with the dog, who was barking at someone or something. She ran out the door and I followed her. I was watching her run across the yard when I ran into something, or actually, someone.
"Woah, bro!" I heard a voice say. I looked at who I had just walked into and grinned immediately.
"Sorry, dude. Wasn't payin' attention," I said, kind of embarrassed. Only me, I thought to myself.
He whispered softly in my ear, "I thought you'd be watching me."
I grinned again. "Always, dude, always."
"Well, I should be done on time today," he said. "I'll find you?"
"Sure," I said. I called the dog's name and she came running back. I let her in the backyard and went back inside.
I got a drink from the fridge and tried to think of something to do to pass the time. I tried turning on the TV but there was nothing exciting on. I found myself sat in front of the piano with a book of Scott Joplin's work. Playing the piano was always a way to make the time fly, and this time was no exception. I had played through about ten rags and was interrupted by the doorbell. The front door was open, so I could see who was in front through the storm door. He grinned. I got up and opened the door.
"Hey, bud, you play the piano?" he asked.
"Yeah, man. Been playing for eighteen years now," I said.
"That's cool, man. I play the guitar. I'm always looking for people to jam with."
I felt like jumping for joy. "I'm always looking for other people to jam with, man!"
"Fuckin' aye, bud! I'll have to bring my guitar over sometime and we'll jam out," he said.
"Definitely," I answered. We just looked at each other and grinned.
"So, uh, what did you want to do this evening?" I asked.
"Well, actually, Joe, I wanted to go home and shower. I wreak."
I laughed. "Well, that's cool. Do you want to come back here and pick me up, or do you want me to come by your place?"
"Uh, whatever. I don't care. I was thinkin' maybe we could go out to Philly, being that it's Friday night, and catch a bite to eat."
"Sounds good to me. I did have plans to go out to Woody's tonight with some friends, but I won't be missed if I don't."
"Actually, though it's not exactly my idea of a date, I was actually thinking about askin' you if you wanted to go out clubbin'? We could like cut a rug on the dance floor."
Wait a second. Mr. Construction Stud dances? I had to laugh out loud.
"What, bud?" he asked, confused.
"I'm sorry, Joey, but I didn't know construction guys danced."
"True, but then again, I'm not just a construction guy. So how about it?"
"Uh, sure," I said. "Sounds like a good plan!"
"Cool," he said, his blue eyes gleaming. He put his arm around me and drew me in for a hug. He was right, he did wreak! But it didn't matter to me at that time. I wrapped my arms around him once again and kissed him on the cheek. He kissed me back on mine.
"So, I guess I can pick you up?" I said, looking into his eyes.
"Sure, bud, let me give you directions."
I went into the kitchen to find a piece of paper and pen. He followed me in, coming up behind me and pressing his body against mine. He very seductively gave me directions to his place and by the time he was finished, we both had raging hard-ons in our shorts.
"Well, I better be going before I lose control," he said.
"Yeah, and before my parents get home," I said, chuckling.
He said he would call me when he was all spruced up. I changed my t-shirt and shaved. I stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom and thought, yeah, I'm the fuckin' man!
Soon enough after my parents got home from work, my boy called me.
"You ready?" he asked in his clear, deep voice.
"Yep," I said. "I'll be over in about fifteen minutes."
He lived in the next town over in an apartment complex that I was familiar with, so getting there was no problem at all. I found his apartment in no time.
After knocking, the door opened and there appeared this gorgeous hunk of a man. Wearing a tight-fitting Abercrombie and Fitch shirt with light cargo shorts with a white visor to top it all off, he looked mighty fine. It took a second for me to get over how good he looked cleaned up.
"Yeah, I look a little different, don't I, bro?"
"Uh, yeah, you sure do, man. You look even better!" I exclaimed.
He laughed and closed the door behind him. We went out to my trusty Tacoma and soon we were off heading down the highway on our way to lovely Southern Philadelphia, PA. (I'm being sarcastic). With the tunes crankin', the temperature just right, everything seemed just right. I can't explain it. We just clicked from day one. I normally don't feel things for a guy this soon, but it seemed just meant to be. I took a hold of his hand and I felt his grip around mine. I looked at him briefly and smiled.
"So, Joe..."
"Yeah, Joe?" I asked, laughing.
"Bud, that's fuckin' weird!" he said.
"I know, man. But at the same time, I think it's cool."
"Yeah, so do I. Where do you want to eat?"
"Well, I know it's not the most high-class place, but I've been having this craving for Geno's cheesesteaks."
"No way, bud!" he yelled. "I love Geno's. You wanna go?"
"Hell yeah!" I answered. "My college roommates and I would go on a whim there. Usually late at night like 2 or 3 in the morning."
"Yeah, sometimes my buds and I will head over there at odd times. Nothing like a good Philly Cheesesteak!"
"Yeah, you got that right."
"So, do you follow sports?" he asked.
"Not really, man. I never have the attention span to watch any games on TV really. I like going to a game every now and then, but I don't get into it too much."
"Aw, that's a shame, man. I love watching baseball and football," he said.
"Well, I just feel like I have better things to do with my time, I guess. I mean if you wanna talk sports with someone, talk to my younger bro. He's all into that. Actually, I do follow baseball occasionally though, just to tease my younger brother about his favorite team, the Red Sox."
"You would do somethin' like that, wouldn't you, bud?"
"Sure, we're brothers, man. I love him, but you gotta tease."
"Yeah, I know what you man. I've got an older bro myself. He's married with kids now though. I never thought he'd be able to settle down, but he did."
"That's cool. Think you'll ever get married?"
"Ah, I don't know, bud. I'd like to get married and have some kids someday. Of course with another guy, not some chick..."
I had to laugh. "Well, same here, bro. But like you said, someday. Not anytime soon."
A good song came on the radio, at least a good song to me, Basket Case, and we sang out loud as we cruised over the Walt Whitman Bridge. We were at Geno's in South Philadelphia in no time. Luckily there wasn't much of a line there.
"Oh, thank god there ain't a line there," Joey said as he got out of the truck.
"I know, man. There are times when the line goes around the corner!"
We ordered our steaks with me getting the american cheese steak without onions and him getting the cheese whiz without onions and sat down at one of the tables.
Dinner went on without incident except for one minor one. And I must admit, I am proud to say it wasn't me being the clumsy oaf this time. The one thing about Geno's cheesesteaks is they can be fairly messy and greasy. I had learned that the hard way years before and since then always made sure I was over the table when taking a bite. Unfortunately, Joey didn't.
"Aw shit," he said. I looked up and saw a few spots on the front of his shirt near his stomach.
I laughed at him. "I'm sorry for laughing. I am usually the one who wears his food," I said, wiping my face with my napkin.
"Well, what can you do? He asked. "I enjoy my food, what can I say?"
In no time we were finished. It was about 8PM when we were done.
"Well, it's a little early yet," I said. "Want to go somewhere downtown and hang out for a while? We could get drinks or something."
"Sure, bud. I'm up for about anything as long as it's with you," he said.
I raised an eyebrow and asked, "Anything?"
He grinned. "Well, just about anything."
"Well, how about we go to Cosi?" Cosi is a coffee shop that used to be a XandO's. I've been there several times. It was a place just to sit around and socialize in the heart of the Philadelphia "gayborhood".
"Oh, you know, I've never been there. Sounds good to me."
We were there in Center City in no time. I kept thinking this guy couldn't be for real. He was really hot and cute.
I wasn't thinking when I sat down at our table. And for some reason, when I went to sit down, I missed the chair completely and fell down on my ass. I turned red from embarrassment. It wasn't a graceful fall either. I had bumped the chair as I fell, and it fell along with me. So, any chance of not being noticed was squelched.
I looked up at Joey and he had a wide-eyed look on his face in surprise. All I could do was laugh at the situation. As soon as I started laughing, he started to laugh as well.
"Bud, you all right?" he asked, laughing.
I got up off the floor, trying not to look around to see who saw my clumsy act, and sat back down on the chair this time.
"Oh, shit. I'm so embarrassed," I said, shaking my head.
He chuckled. "It's all right bro. You sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, my ass'll survive. Fuck, I can't believe I was that stupid."
"Next time, check the chair before you sit down," he said.
I just blushed more.
"Aw, bud, it's all right. I've had my moments too."
The male server came up to our table was blatantly flaming. "Are you all right, honey?" he asked.
"Uh, yeah, I think so," I said.
"Well, you might want to bring the high chair just to make sure he doesn't fall again, bud," Joey quipped.
The server laughed. I blushed again. "It's only eight o'clock. Isn't a little early for you to be falling out of chairs?"
I laughed with them and said, "I guess not."
"What can I get you two?" the server asked.
"Uh, I'll have a Bud."
"I'll have a screwdriver," I said.
"Hmm...I can't serve visibly intoxicated customers, baby," the server joked.
"Oh he's like this normally," Joey joked. I just laughed right along.
"Actually, he is the one you gotta watch out for," I joked.
"Oh, believe me, honey, I've been watching him since he came in," the server said. "All right, a bud and a screwdriver."
He walked away and I looked at my new friend.
"Well, that was interesting," he said.
"Yeah, it's always an adventure with me, dude. Just stick around. Life is never dull around me," I said. "I am my own entertainment half the time."
"Well, after that fall, I am inclined to believe you, bud."
"Dude, what was up with that server?" I asked.
He laughed. "He wanted a piece of me," he said, showing off his body. "Too bad he can't have it."
Ah, that's what I needed to hear. I smiled back at him. "But you on the other hand..." he said, taking a hold of my hand on the table.
I gasped as we were holding hands in public, visibly.
"What? Does it make you uncomfortable?" Joey asked, concerned. He let go of my hand.
I reached out for it again and held it. "No, no, I was just surprised that you'd be comfortable enough here to do that."
"Ah, who gives a fuck, bud? We're right here in the gay part of Philly. I don't give a fuck who sees us now. Just don't expect me to do it like in a diner in South Jersey."
I laughed. "Yeah, if you would do that to me back home, I think I'd slug you."
"Same here, bud. There's a time and a place for everything."
"That's my line, dude!" I said, laughing.
I was relieved that we shared the same views on displaying affection.
Just then, our server came with our drinks.
"Okay, boys....one screwdriver and one Bud," he said, setting our drinks down on the small table.
"Thanks," Joey said, looking at the server.
The server winked at Joey. I just chuckled and shook my head. Joey looked back at me after he left and rolled his eyes.
"God, I don't mean to sound like this, because I really have no problems with it. But, why do guys act so feminine? It's like almost unnatural. "
"Well, I prefer masculine acting guys myself from a dating standpoint. But, I do have other friends who I like to refer to as flaming idiots. I've got no problems with it in general. But some of them don't know when to turn it off."
"Yeah, you got that right, bud. Yeah, I don't have a problem with feminine acting guys, but sometimes it just gets a little overbearing."
"Like our server?" I asked, taking a sip of my drink.
"You got it, bud!" he said, clinking his beer bottle with my screwdriver.
"I know what you mean."
We each to sips of our drinks. It was time for a change in topic.
"So, you said you have an older brother? Any others?" I asked.
"Yeah. I gotta younger sister too," he replied. "And you?"
"Well, I got an older sister, a younger sister, and the younger bro I mentioned before."
"Wow, a full house eh?"
"At times. But my younger sister now is in college and my older sister lives on her own."
Our drinks came and we clinked our glasses together. Just then, I noticed a group of guys coming into the door. I immediately recognized one.
"Uh, don't look now, but my ex just came in."
"Huh?" he asked, surprised. He turned to face the front door. "Which one?"
"He's the tallest one with blonde hair in the blue t-shirt," I said, keeping my eyes focused on Joey.
"Woah, you dated him?"
"Yeah, for two months."
"Bud, he's like a foot taller than you!"
"Yeah, he is. He's six foot five," I said, taking a sip of my drink. This could prove to be a very interesting night.
"Damn, man. How did you guys, you know, do it?"
"We fit amazingly well together, actually. I hope he doesn't notice me though."
Joey looked at me seriously. "Bud, I don't know how he could not notice you. You're fuckin' hot," he said in a low voice.
I blushed yet again for a different reason this time. "Thanks."
He smiled at me. "How many ex's do you have?"
"Uh, three. He was the last one. What about you?"
"Two," he answered. "Neither of them really went anywhere. I guess I was just too young to care."
"Yeah, I know what you mean."
I looked over towards the front again and noticed that the group was coming back to our area.
"Uh oh," Joey said. "Looks like your ex and his buds are coming our way."
"Let's leave," I said, quickly. I downed the rest of my screwdriver and smiled.
He laughed.
"Nah, dude, I'm kiddin'...." I started to say. Though I tried to avoid it, my ex and I made eye contact as he was coming our way. I nodded hi to him. He nodded back. As it turns out, he sat right next to us with his group of four other guys.
"Oh shit," I whispered under my breath.
"Hey, Joe," my ex said to me as he sat down.
I waved and said, "Hey, Rick. What's going on?"
"Just hangin' out tonight."
"Cool," I said not know what else to say.
I turned my attention back to Joey. "Uh..." I started to say.
Joey was still looking over at Rick. He then looked back at me. "You wanna get out of here?"
"I was just going to suggest that," I said.
"Good," he said. We got our check, paid, and we were off.
"Sorry about that, dude. I just didn't think we could have the best conversation with my ex sitting next to us," I said, as we walked out of the door.
"Hey, it's cool. I didn't think it would be the best either. So where to now?"
"Well, we could just go to Woody's now and sit down in the café or something," I suggested.
"Sounds good to me."
We walked one block down on Walnut Street.
"You come here often?" I asked him.
"Ah, once in a while. I'm not too into the club scene, but I like coming here every now and then."
"Yeah, I must admit, though, that I usually come here once a week to meet up with friends and shit. Usually on a Wednesday night. Plus I'm friends with some of the people who work here."
"That's cool."
"Yeah, I can take or leave it. You know, it's just somewhere to go and get plastered," I said.
"Fuck yeah, bud."
He held open the front door of Woody's for me. We went inside to the Main bar downstairs. I led him through the second bar to the café. We both sat down in a corner booth.
"I'll never forget the first time I saw you, Joe," he said, smiling at me.
"Oh yeah! You had said you had seen me here before. Where was it?"
"It was down here in the main bar. You were with some friends and to be honest, I just couldn't take my eyes off of you. I think I would've approached you but you were with your friends."
"Really?" I asked. Even when I'm with friends, I usually notice who's checking me out if any, but apparently I missed this young stud checking me out entirely.
"How long ago was that?"
"Earlier this year. I think it was in March. I saw you again, believe it or not, last Wednesday night."
"And you didn't say Hi?"
"I'm not too good at picking up guys at a bar, bud. I wouldn't have known what to say."
"Did I notice you?" I asked.
"No, you just walked by."
How could I have possibly walked by this hunk of man? The server came by and took our order of drinks.
"Imagine my surprise when I saw you yesterday morning. I was a little shocked."
"Yeah, I would be too. I'm glad you did though."
"Me too," he said. "But at the same time I'm glad I saw you here first. Then at least I knew I had a chance."
"True, true. I mean I've seen guys from college here one or twice that had no clue about me. I had no clue about them either. This one guy, who's in the same major as I am, I saw upstairs in the dance floor area one night. I tapped him on the shoulder to say Hi and all he did was look at me and walked away in a panic. I guess he figured that I would tell everyone or something."
"Yeah, but he also saw you there. He has shit on you now too."
"That's exactly what I told him later that night. I told him, look, I saw you here, you saw me here. We both have something on each other. I ain't gonna tell anyone about you and you better not tell anyone about me."
"And you had no idea he was until you saw him here?"
"Nope. No clue. But then again, my "gaydar" doesn't work very well."
Joey laughed. I took a sip of my very strong screwdriver.
"Okay," I said, "I'm feeling this one."
He laughed again. "Well just be sure you don't miss your chair again."
"How could I miss it? It's a bench!" I exclaimed.
"Exactly!" was all he said.
I laughed. Interestingly, this was working. Better than I had even hoped it would. He was cute as shit, he had a great personality....what could be better?
That wraps up part two of this series. As always, comments and suggestions are welcome at NEPhillyBoy76@aol.com Thanks.
