Storm Zac - Part 5
The police call me, they want me at the farm in case they release Zac and his brother and sister, not knowing if Dot will be kept hostage.
I drive over, keeping well back out of view. A helicopter circles overhead as the negotiator tries to resolve the situation.
There's a sound of gunshot, Zac's dad runs out of the farm, his face bleeding and a gunshot wound in his thigh. His jeans soaked in blood, dark, angry.
The police rush in and the medics stretcher Zac's dad and take him away.
Dot runs out crying, clutching her children.
I run up and Zac runs to me, hugging me.
The police interview Dot and the children, it looks as if Zac's dad had threatened to murder Zac, `to shoot the vermin dead' he said. At that Dot ran at him with the kitchen knife she always carried in her apron pocket but he had seen it and had grabbed her arm and she dropped the knife but as he momentarily relaxed thinking her charge was over she jumped up and scratched his face with her nails, he lifted the rifle but couldn't see with the blood in his eyes and he staggered forward and tripped and shot himself in the thigh with the cocked rifle.
Dot got the kids settled down for the night in the farmhouse and I drove home, refusing the offer of a sleeping bag on the sofa.
I got home and showered for a long time, I phoned the lawyer who said there would be a trial, it could get salacious but if he'd any sense he'd plead guilty to lessen his sentence.
I slept very little, my apartment block was being filmed with reporters outside and you know how mud sticks, I had to move out. I collected Zac's school work and his sports kit and a few clothes, and phoned down to the concierge who said he'd open the roller shutters on the maintenance staff exit for me. I got in the elevator and I was in my car quickly, I could see the reporters milling around at the main entrance and as the rear roller doors opened I sped off to the farm.
The family were up (of course) and invited me for breakfast, Zac's mum said he could have a day off but Zac says it's best to get the attention over with and get back to normal.
His mother laughed,`that'll take some doing, I can't run the farm, the shop, the house and the boys. We got a big problem to solve here'.
I had a lot to think about. I dropped the kids off at school and got home. I phoned the office to arrange a Zoom call with senior staff. Diaries are busy but my PA got an APB at 12:00. I phoned Jaime the assessor whom I'd promoted to give her heads up that I needed to take a long break, for health and `family reasons'. They knew I'd had a messy break up and that this was the likely result, little did they know!
Jaime said she'd be honoured to take on more responsibility and thanked me for thinking of her and for the call.
I rang Darryl in HR and explained I'd need 6 months maybe a year off duties and that I wanted to be regarded as a sleeping partner with Jaime at the helm, that she could assemble her team. I'd have to inform the NAIC and state insurance offices of the changes at the top of the organisation.
The only bright spot of the day was the call from the realtor to say he'd had heads up about a place that looked to fit the bill, the only problem was it wasn't close to a large town but actually in a secluded farming community, very private with farm land on 3 sides abutting a main road, oh and it had a swimming hole and some riverbank, perfect for a `discrete' lifestyle as he put it.
He said the owners were sure to foreclose on their mortgage and so an offer would likely be accepted. His thoughts were we could live in the property and lease the land to an adjacent farm for them to work. I asked him to check if another house could be built on the land. He got back straight away, the local planning dept see no reason given the low density and long access road, they were keen not to let families split through insufficient housing availability for kinfolk but were against speculative development.
He e-mailed me the details. I looked at the picture and laughed. I phoned him immediately `yes, I would make the bank an offer' I gave him a figure, he advised me to go 10% lower, based on his recommendations, what he thought the bank would take and the rundown state of the property.
My zoom call with staff went well, I was now officially not an assessor for Boston Prime Insurance. A weight was lifted off my shoulders. So long as Jaime ran the business well I'd still be making money enough to live on and more, giving money to invest in a new venture.
I drove to the farm, Dot was crying, the bank had foreclosed on their mortgage, it seemed that Zac's Dad hadn't been keeping up with payments but had gambled it, she'd found bank statements showing money paid out to a Las Vegas church which is a front for an illegal gambling syndicate.
She would be homeless in 4 weeks as the bank told her they had accepted an offer on the farm.
I asked her to show me around, I took notes and photos on my phone, I asked to start at the beginning, Dot described seed production through to planting, crop security, harvesting, selecting, washing, grading and packaging, the auctions, buying and storing seed for next season.
We discussed the risks of each process and I asked how these could be minimised. Many could be mitigated through new machinery and plant, to make the processes more efficient and less invasive. I was impressed by her knowledge. She said she could easily run the farm but didn't have the working capital to make any changes, nor the time or muscle power to do everything.
She was sad because she had in her mind that Zac and his brother would take on the farm Pa and her retired after a life of work building for the future. She sobbed into my shoulder, I consoled this tough, wiry woman the best I could.
I went to collect Zac and his siblings from school. They'd been the centre of attention all day, with kids in class performing mock kidnapping and hostage taking at every break, not much happens around here so this was big news.
The local TV news showed Zac and Nathan on TV taken from their winning match interview and ran the opening teaser with `Local soccer star thwarts hostage gunman in 7 hour standoff' we all groaned as we watched.
`It'll all blow over, you'll see' I said reassuringly. His desertion never mentioned, just a worry for me spinning in my head at the dead of night.
After the broadcast the TV station got lots of calls about how the `twins' looked like other kids in the state, mostly from farmers kids spotting their resemblance of build, ginger hair and ruddy complexion, with many people sending in photos. The station were going to investigate to see if their was a link or if it was just a coincidence.
After the news, I did the dishes with Dot, leaving the kids full of pudding and tired after their day. I came clean with her, I told her that I had bought the farm, that they were safe, that I'd set-up a company naming the family as joint owners with their share increasing as they invested their profits in the farm, building up a future for the boys.
I explained this was not charity just good business sense and making the best out of a terrible opportunity to befall the family.
`But who's going to work the farm?' Dot asked,
`I am, along with the boys, hired hands and new equipment',
`You've got yourself a deal mister' she said, her survival instincts kicking in, choking back the tears.
Now onto personal matters', she said, kids grow up fast and kids learn behaviour from elders, I know Zac is gay, and I guess you must be. I can't have you two sleeping together in this house, for one thing there's no room, I can't have you sleeping on the couch, creaky stairs and bedding everywhere, it just all gets on top of me.'
`Come walk with me' I said.
We walked the farm, the light fading into a sunset, birds calling as they flew over after filling their bellies on our seed, to a patch of land, probably an old vegetable garden and I stood on the old blackened stumps.
`The deeds show that the old farmstead used to be here, when it burnt down the owners built a new home further down the access road and this became forgotten. I plan to build a house here, for myself and room for Zac, to give Lonnie his own space, living with you'.
I took a deep breath,
`And furthermore, I know the law and will respect that as much as I can. I want to be happy and live a quiet life and watch the man I love grow, away from prying eyes and gossip',
I continued `and I'll have my meals with you if you want that and try to become a part of your family.'
We hugged, Dot dried her eyes,
`Until the new house is built can I request that Zac stays with me at the apartment and I take him to school and continue to play uncle?'
She nodded.
She put the kids to bed, I had one night on the uncomfortable lumpy sofa and drove the kids to school next day.
That morning I called my lawyer and asked him to file a new company in Delaware to be called Redhead Farm Insurance with share capital of $1 per share and 5 shares, one for each member of Zac's family and myself.
I'd seen how Joe Clayton operates, he's a shrewd bastard, better have him on my side given the suspected red haired connection. I'm going to get Joe to sell the insurance for me on cash commission, based on number of policies and renewals, he should make us all a lot of money, he'll be unwittingly controlling the risk by choosing stable farming areas such as around here. If it takes off, in the future it can be run online by the kids as they get older, could be a college fund.
Joe said he can't wait to get recruiting, I also talked about our labour shortage predicament in confidence, he said he knew a farmer that had five strapping boys, and not enough work for them on his farm, he said he'd want 10% of their wages for a year as a finders fee. I politely told him to suck my dick, he laughed and gave me the number. I gave them a call and went over to see them.
Wayne is 18, he left school at Easter to help with planting, he's a strapping 6 foot bear of a lad, black curly hair, his chest hair and well developed pecs losing their puppy fat and puffing his shirt out, his chest hair creeping out of any gap. He gave me a confident handshake, his black eyes searching into my soul.
Warren ran in, He's 16 almost 17, he exuded energy, an enthusiastic young man, another 6 footer but lithe, strong, lean and clean.
`Dad just told me, I can't wait to farm with you guys.' He burst out.
So we've got two happy young men, eager to start.
`A bit more eye candy?', says Zac to me.
We found a `homework emergency' for Zac to stay over at the apartment. Zac ran in, he closed the blinds and stripped off, jumping on me, frantically pulling my clothes off and pushing me on the bed, he lifted my legs on his shoulders, spat and plunged in, hard,
`Fuuucckkk, slow down Zac', my ass ring burning at the attack,
`Not a chance old man, I've had .... wet dreams .... for a week ..... waiting for... this ... urghh.
He shot his bolt, almost fainting, his head tossed back as he rammed into me, filling me up, his load dripping out down my legs as he pulled out, his cock dripping, pulsing, still hard.
`Fucking do me',
Zac said, pleading with me.
He rolled over, his ass high in the air, I lubed up, lined up and slipped in,
`Oh how I've missed you', he moaned,
I caught the angle just right,
`my cock is on fire' he roared,
as he excreted a thin stream of precum.
I too had been thinking about this for a while, I like being able to make Zac moan, to scream, to know I was pleasing him, us both getting pleasure from my cock, watching my pole disappear into Zac, between his beautiful mounds, to lean right over his body like a pressup and press on in, watching his body tense and relax, his butt cheeks contract as I slowly took him, before accelerating to cum, grunting like a hog, up his ass.
Zac rolls over and we cuddle, we feel each others cocks, mine soft and wet, Zac's hardening getting interested for more.
`School day tomorrow, no round two' I said and I plunged us into darkness.
We woke in the night, I was laid on my back, arms behind my head when Zac's whispered, `what you thinking' and slithered down under the blankets and connected with my cock, taking the soft worm and both eggs in his mouth before gagging as I hardened, he rolled me on my back and ate out my ass, slavering noisily as he pulled my cheeks apart and dived in with his tongue and fingers pulling the flesh guarding my pucker, opening up a small gap to plunge his tongue tip into. I blew an angels kiss, the pfft of air escaping as he opened my hole,
Mmmm' he moaned, sniffing in deeply, you smell fucking great'.
Here, in the dead of night, he plunged his nose in my ass and licked, alternating between his arrowed tongue and a broad leaf, licking up my musk, my ass juices, my hole twitching for him to calm my desire, my need to be filled with his youth, his cock, his turgid man-boy tool, to open me up, to rip my ass, to please him, to get him off, to feel his nuts explode and to fill me to the brim with his spunk, to feel it trickle down my leg and for him to lick it up, his hot breath on my thigh, his nose tracing a line as his tongue follows up to the source; my leaking, cummy, dripping hole.
We 69 for me to clean his cock of my ass smell, to suckle the last drop of cum out of his softening dick as he writhes in the sensitive pain before hardening again, one palm cupped around his nuts, feeling his balls rise and fall as he shoots and a finger lodged tight up his hole, feeling his contractions as he shoots, I swallow, then wallow in the warmth and closeness, drifting into to deep, snuffling, snoring sleep.
We rise and bring each other off in the shower washing away our morning wood, the soap cleaning our bodies clear of sex and spunk and ass. Then feeling invigorated after breakfast, we pack and I drive him to school.
My mind drifts to Wayne and Warren, eager to work, eager to please.
I drive to the farm, Dot is pointing to a field, Wayne is watching, listening intently, he nods a `yes ma'am' and he's buzzed away on the ATV, the small trailer bouncing the tools around in the back.
Dot calls morning or is it the afternoon?'. She laughs at her joke, Wayne's doing some anti rabbit fencing, we needed that years ago but it's cussing hard to dig in, that should reduce crop wastage. He's a good worker, showing lots of promise',
I nod, recalling his physique and my cock twitches.
I go to the shop and help serve and stock the shelves, I think installing a meat counter might help upsell the veggies.
I collect the insurance flyers from the printers and drive over to see Joe,
`Hey good to see you pardner' he says in his corny OTT country bumpkin manner he puts on, no doubt to fool people, but I know he's a shrewd operator.
He walks me to his office, his arm warm on my shoulder, lingering just a little too long, he closes the door, grins shyly and releases his arm,
I show him the handout and he types in the website link.
`Looks great, you sure move fast',
`Only when I see an opportunity' I say.
He gets my double meaning and adjusts his cock his hands going for his button fly, licking his lips,
`Let's not mix things up at the moment' is my rebuff. He nods.
`Say, you got Wayne and Warren on your books, two great guys, I had em both as Saturday boys, you should see them haul bags of seed around. Building up a sweat',
`I'll watch out for that, Dots got Wayne doing fencing' I say,
`That's some sight I'll bet',
`Anyway, see how many enquiries you can feed me, it all helps the cash flow',
`Sure will, see ya'.
I drive back and park up by the field.
`Hey Wayne' I call, the strapping lad has his shirt off showing his hairy body, matted with sweat. His jeans are a size too big, slipping down on his hips, showing the top of his bushy pubes and his V just stopping above his shaft, no doubt helping keep his modesty, or what's left of it.
`Hi Boss' he calls,
`Only one boss around here and she's called Dot',
`She sure is' Wayne says and laughs,
`Just thought I'd see what you're up to?',
`It's anti rabbit fencing, stop the vermin digging under, but it's sure hard work'
`Would a mini digger help?',
`I guess so but that wouldn't give me my workout would it?',
He flexed for me, grinning, he's a real hunk,
I laugh, `I'll bet you're fighting the ladies off' I say,
He blushes `well, er, look I'd better get on, thanks for stopping by, er Boss',
He shakes my hand and pats my back and marches me a few paces to my car. His huge hand hot on my back, his force pushing me along anxious for me to leave.
`Thanks again' he says and he walks back to his duties, I see the pick axe sweep in an arc into the hard ground and his muscular, bear like young frame hauls it out to repeat again and again. He's a God.
