Ok let me start off by saying what I'm sure your thinking what the hell. I said I was going to be better at writing chapters and not keeping y'all waiting, that didn't happen and I'm sorry. I have a massive list for why things happened the way they did, I'm sure you don't care to hear about those though. Just know I'm out of school and have a ton of free time on my hands right now so I promise for here on out to be better on my writings.

Now for the dreaded PSA: A- this story is a work of fiction with a dash of reality thrown in as I've said before (80:20 ratio). Any relation to a person or group of people living or dead is completely by chance and not intentional. B- this story will eventually much later on involve sexual relations between boys under the age of eighteen, if this bothers you please stop reading. Also on the flip side of that coin if it is illegal for you to read such materials in your home state or country you do so at your own risk. C- lastly this is my real first attempt at a big story so I would really appreciate any feed back I could get either positive or negative (I'm a big boy now lol I can handle it.... I think lol). Southern dreams chapter three Nick W.
The bell rang out a monotoned pitch, to which Josh cussed "Shit man, we gotta hurry that's the minute bell and we are no where close to the class I just hope your good at dodge underclass men." To which Nate let out a loud laugh, "your worried about me?" He retorted, " I'm not the one who's own friends call shorty, I'm a giant." Josh just rolled his eyes at the last comment and grabbed his arm and began to drag him down a hall, walking at a furious pace that Nate easily matched with his long strides. Students bounced off the pair, yet no one said anything they all had the same thought on their mind get to class before the teacher shut the door.
The pair came skidding into the their history class just as the teacher a middle aged man was pulling on the door to shut it, he glared at the pair as they quickly walked to the last two empty desk in the middle of the room. He went to his desk and grabbed a roll book and without missing a beat boomed across the room, "Petersburg, you better not make that a habit or I'll have to talk to coach Johnson." Josh just dutifully replied "No sir, Coach Moore I was helping my new friend Nate figure out the school it's his first day actually." Nate just shook his head there went his chance of just blending in the back ground and not becoming something to be examined and questioned, Josh shot him an apologetic look to which Nate just nodded back. Coach Moore though had shifted his attention to Nate as if it was the first time he had even noticed Nate's presence in the room.
"Ah yes Mr. Carson, glad to have you join us from the land of fun and sun I hope small little town can live up to your Los Angles expectations." He retorted with a smirk. Nate unsure of how to reply just sat silently in his chair, this turned out to be the best choice of action the coach sensing that Nate wasn't going to reply or smart off moved on with the class. Which was basically handing out a syllabus, explaining it to the class and handing out books with the class numbering twenty three students after the books were handed out there wasn't much time left. They sat in silence glossing over their syllabus, while coach Moore read the local news paper till the bell rang.
Quickly the whole class packed up their belongings and began to file out of the class room, "So first period down and not only does everyone know I'm the new kid, but the teacher is a jackass." Nate quickly said as soon as they were out the door, "eh that was just coach's way of asserting his authority, his really not that bad just doesn't want to let kids think they can walk all over him." Josh responded. "If you say so, I'm just glad he's your coach and not one of mine." Nate said. To which Josh looked at him with his head tilted to one side, "one of your coaches, dude you only got here today how can you already have a coach?" He questioned. "Oh yeah, so this summer my dad sent off my old high school tapes to coach Jones, he liked what he saw and basically already offered me a spot on the football team." Nate responded forgetting to mention that in the truck earlier. Josh just grinned "alright another jock to the group, Jenny will just be thrilled." He laughed.
Before Nate could ask what that even meant they had arrived at their stat class and had to go to their desk. Stats was taught by an older woman Mrs.Allen, Nate could already tell he was going to like her just by the way she handle and addressed the class as a group of adults rather then some snot nosed kids she was being paid to baby sit. The time went even faster then with first period and before he knew it the bell had rang signaling the end of yet another period and the start of another five minutes spent trying to shuffle through the hall way in a stamped of human cattle. The handoff happened without Nate even realizing it had even happened Josh disappeared back into the sea of humanity and in his place stood Carson Gentry, who grabbed Nate and steered him toward their English class. "Boy, your day just got ten times better, he quickly stated." Nate just shook his head, "Why is that man, and please don't say anything about it being because I'm with a stud like you." Nate shot back.
"Woah new guys got jokes, hey I can roll with this man but you know I am a stud so that was more of a compliment so thank you!" Carson said with a grin, while Nate just tried not to laugh as they waited for their teacher to start class up. Immediately Nate knew he was going to hate this class even more then coach Moore's class, while most of the classes today would be a simple handout the syllabus and books and let students catch up with their friends about summer brake that was not what Mr. Johnson had in mind. After calling roll and handing out their text books he launched into the fact the class would have a project due in five weeks, that would count for twenty percent of their first semester grade. This was meet with an overall resounding groan and slowly the students realized that their summer was officially over and it was back to the daily grind that school brought. Carson turned to Nate " Leave it to good ol Johnson to assign something like this his first day back, guys a complete jackass when it comes to his students so don't expect any help from him on this project." "Mr.Gentry, unless you are asking Mr.Carson a question about a source no talking, although you shouldn't even be asking him that question anyway all questions should be addressed to me." Mr. Johnson called out from the front of the room. Carson quickly apologized and mouthed after class to Nate who in turn nodded and they both began reading about all the work they would need to do to accomplish a successful project.
English class dragged on and on, finally the bell rang signaling their escape from the dread class. As Carson steered Nate toward the parking lot Nate started to throw on the breaks, "Woah man school isn't over we still have lunch and two more periods before we can break out even after that class." Nate quickly said, "Oh yeah your such a newbie, underclass man can have lunch outside the school on two conditions they have a upper class man and a signed parental consent form." Carson replied. "I'm only one for two then because there is no way my parents have already signed the form since I just found out about it." Nate shot back. As Carson had still been guiding Nate to his truck "well I guess it's good that you have a friend in the office that has access to the school fax machine then" Jenn quickly said as she came up behind the two boys.
"Oh yeah and a guy that knows the best place to get a hell of a lot better food then this prison could ever hope to serve" Josh quickly came running up. "Sorry everyone Ms. Anderson was being her usually bubbly self and lost track of time, everyone ok with the dinner" He asked? They all nodded and Josh grabbed Nate's keys out of his pocket and put his finger on Nate's lips before he could even protest with a sly grin on his face.
