I guess I need to mention that this is a story for adults only, so only adult eyes (over 21) should be reading it. Eventually there will probably be stuff of a graphic and pornographic nature in here. This is my work, please do not copy it. Jason had always been a simple, laid back kind of person. But he was different from many people in that he had a fiery passion when it came to helping those who are truly in need. It wasn't so much of an obsession, just that when the need arose, he was there to help. He wasn't tall, coming in at about 5'8", but he was very strong. Eighteen years of playing and then working out on the farm had given him a strong and tough body. He was gorgeous in the face, with a slightly sharp nose, he still had a manly presence that only a farm boy could have. His long blond hair came down to his ears and over his eyes, but was usually covered up by a cowboy hat or a baseball cap, except at school. His most distinguishing feature was his eyes; they were a stunning blue. Looking into them, you wouldn't have believed he was as laid back as he acted; his eyes nearly flamed with blue passion. If he stared into your eyes you immediately knew just what he was feeling, and you either melted from his smile, or backed off because he was staring a hole through you.

Jason had been going to the same school for his whole life, he knew everybody there. He knew who the good people were and who the asses were; and who they were probably would have surprised anybody who didn't live there. Most of the nice people were the backwoods guys and gals just like Jason, they had all grown up on a farm or in the country and lived by the grace of God. There were other good people too, most of the teachers were nice, and of course there were the crowds of self proclaimed "emo's" and the band kids, the football players, the cheerleaders, and every other kind of person you could probably think of. The bad ones were a group of guys whose parents still held on to the theory that different was not only bad, but must be extinguished. There were also the people who considered being hateful a sport and found plenty of joy in it. The worst was Dylan; Dylan was the kind of ass hole that made most people just walk away. He was 6'6" and very strong, he kept a buzz cut and wore the nazi swastika on his left shoulder as a tattoo. He was the epitome of evil and made sure everybody new it.

Chase was scared to death, he couldn't figure out what the hell his parents were thinking bringing him to this shithole of a town. How could they be bringing him to the gay hating capital of the world, Mississippi! He figured they must have been delusional. Chase was a seventeen year old kid who could only be described as angelic. He had grown up in the nice part of San Francisco and didn't have a scratch on him. He was about 5'6" and skinny as could be. He had never thought about body building, just looking good. He wasn't vain, he just enjoyed looking good. He still had his wonderful baby face, with no fat at all, eye length brown hair and beautiful brown eyes that were as deep as the deepest ocean. Of course, he was still sporting a Cali tan that he planned on maintaining if this god forsaken town had a tanning parlor.

His parents had decided that he would go to school that day, even though they had only moved in that week. They had just pulled up to the school and he was getting nervous. "Mom, are you sure you want me to get the hell beat out of me today?"

"Damnit Chase do Not talk to your mother that way!", Chase's father exclaimed.

"Sorry dad, but I'm just so nervous, I don't think a gay will do so well in this school." Chase had been out to his parents since he was thirteen, talking to them about it wasn't a problem, the new school was the problem. As the car stopped in front of the school, Chase was not prepared to see such a beautiful school in the South, especially not a public one. But, apparently Greenwood Georgia had one. Chases mom and dad said goodbye and he stepped out of the car. All chase could think of was how was he going to make it through the day, he hadn't even considered letting people know he was gay, for now that was out of the question.

Unfortunately for him, word about him had spread fast. For most of the people of Greenwood it was irrelevant news, but for a select few, it was a call to attention; time to act. As he stepped through the great arch that separated the road from the school, he turned a corner to go to the office for his schedule. The last thing he remembered was seeing this really cute guy running away and suddenly being surrounded by military looking guys, then it all went black.

Jessie was quiet for the most part, he didn't want to stand out much; after all, just the fact the some people simply thought he might be gay had gotten him into some trouble. Heck, he wouldn't even be there if it hadn't been for Jason. Jessie was a taller kid, he was about six feet tall and was toned from playing basketball since the first grade, but he wasn't a macho kid. He was seventeen, and still had a smooth face; not having facial hair had never bothered him much, he would have just shaved it off anyway. He had short, spiked brown hair, and a slightly manly face; but he still considered himself cute. His hazel eyes had always been a mystery, they always changed to brown in the winter, some people thought this was attractive; but not the ones he wanted. Jessie was positive there were no other gay or even bisexual guys at his school; of course he had developed a crush on Jason after he had rescued him from Dylan last year. But Jason had a beautiful girlfriend, and Jessie knew true love when he saw it.

As Jessie walked into the quad he saw the last person he would have wanted to see that day, Dylan. But Dylan just looked away and kept walking; as he walked away he growled "Stay out of this." Jessie was very confused until he saw Dylan and his nazi wannabe cronies gathering just inside the arch. A few seconds later the cutest guy Jessie had ever seen walked through the arch; Jessie didn't even have to second guess what was happening. He just turned around and started sprinting towards the parking lot; he knew that Jason and his crew would still be out there.

It was a shitty day, and Jason had had a bad feeling all morning long. His buddies were sitting with him on the tailgate of his pickup and a few of their own trucks as well. Jason had quite a few friends, and they were all very close. Tommy was probably his best friend, they had grown up neighbors; Tommy was a pretty big guy, definitely capable of defending himself. As they were talking, Tommy spotted Jessie running towards them. He chuckled, "Jason, here comes your boyfriend." "Grow up dude." Jason replied as he sat up to greet Jessie. Suddenly Tommy's face grew leery; he could see the worry on Jessie's face. "What's going on Jessie?" He shouted as Jessie approached. Jessie ran up and stopped, and hunkered over out of breath. In between breaths he managed to get out a few words: "New...kid...gay...Dylan...hurry!" Jason was already running he knew his crew was close behind; Tommy would be right on his back. Fury was already building up inside Jason, he had a horrible temper that he rarely lost, but when it came to senseless hate, namely Dylan's, he got pissed real easy. As he was running his anger built up, more and more his focus was on finding Dylan and laying him out. As he rounded the lunchroom he could see the group gathered behind the arch. As he ran other teens moved out of his way, they knew where he was going, and they only hoped he could get there faster. Dylan and his group were a menace, and the whole damn school wanted him gone. As soon as he hopped over the concrete separation between the lunchroom and the outside eating area he was pushing though Dylan's cronies. Jason knew his back was covered; it was what was in front of him that he was worried about. After pushing through about five people he reached Dylan, who had some kid held up by his collar. Jason was pretty sure the kid was unconscious. Jason immediately kneed one of Dylan's kidneys and Dylan dropped the kid. Before Dylan had a moment to react Jason had turned him around and punched him in the gut. Dylan bent over and Jason sent a strong uppercut right into Dylan's jaw, and then started pushing hard, pushing Dylan all the way into the arch; and planted Dylan's face right into the brick wall. Dylan slumped over, he was out. Jason turned around to see that his friends had the situation under control, and Tommy was beating the shit out of some fat guy who wouldn't go down. Jason turned around and slapped Dylan in the face, "Hey dipshit! Wake the hell up!" Dylan came too and just stared. He was looking straight up into Jason's eyes; he could have sworn Jason's eyes were green with fury. Dylan nearly shit himself when he realized the position he was in. Jason spoke again, "Look here you filthy piece of shit, you need to leave, now. And if you come back anytime today, I will kill you; plain and simple. I know you were gonna kill this kid." Dylan got up, gathered his group, and was gone in a minute. Jason had already leaned in over the kid, trying to see how bad the damage was. He took of his over shirt and used it to wipe the blood off the kids face. He must have gotten there just in time, because the kid seemed to be alright. After a couple of minutes he came to.

Jessie finally caught his breath and began making his way back to the quad. He didn't want to get there too fast, he wasn't a fighter. He felt pretty safe staying behind because Tommy had asked one of their crew to stay behind and watch out for him. As he got to the quad the crowd was already clearing, he managed to see Dylan's bloody face just before he disappeared around the corner of the arch. He couldn't help but smile; somehow Dylan was never a match for Jason, even though he was nearly twice his size. Finally Jessie made it over to Jason who was leaning over the kid; Chase, he thought his name was. News of the kid had made its way around town, and Jessie's mom had kidded him about asking the new kid out. Both of them had known it couldn't happen, but if was fun to dream. He hadn't gotten a good look earlier, but now, even through the residual blood on the kids face, he could see just how beautiful he was. He was just the cutest guy Jessie had ever seen, and he suddenly felt an urge deep down in his heart. Maybe it was time' he started thinking, but not now, no, he needed to help Jason right now.'

Chase came to with a splitting headache. The first thing he saw when he woke up was the bluest pair of eyes he was sure he'd ever seen. Chase was too weak to yell or fight, so he just lay there, managing to get out a few words, "Do what you're going to, and just make it quick."

He heard the face with blue eyes say, "Kid, I'm your friend, now be still, you need to rest. My name's Jason. What's yours, I need to tell my dad." Chase told him his name and wondered why this Jason was helping him, these hicks didn't like queers like himself.

"Why are you helping me? I figured you would all be beating me up."

Jason just sighed and said "We ain't all bad, just relax while my dad comes with the fire truck." Just then another teen pushed through the circle and knelt down beside Chase and said something to Jason. This guy was so cute, and left Chase wondering how he could be thinking about that at such a time. But all Chase could think about was how cute this guy was, he was wearing clothes very similar to what Chase was used to wearing and somehow Chase found comfort in that. He leaned over and said his name was Jessie. Chase smiled and relaxed a little bit. Jessie picked Chase's back up and helped him lean up. He ran his hair through Chase's hair and asked him if he was going to be okay. Chase said he was now. They both just stared into each other's eyes for what seemed like hours, until Jason finally broke the silence. "You know Jessie, all hell is about to break loose. Now'd be the best time I could think of for you to, uh, you know, come out. After dad gives Chase a good lookin over you should show him around the school. I want him to feel comfortable here. Oh, and it's about time for a date, don't you think Jessie?, motioning towards Chase. Jessie just blushed. Jason started again, "Well you think about it for now, I'm going to go find that son of a bitch principle and ask him where the hell he was hidin' during all this shit. Tommy will you hang around for a few?" Tommy nodded and Jason walked off after lightly hugging Chase and saying it was going to be alright.

It was all too much for Chase, he just started bawling. He had gone from nervous, to getting the hell beat out of him, to being cared for, and even practically being asked out by a straight guy, for a gay guy who was apparently still in the closet. The South wasn't at all what he thought it was, but it was still off to a bad start. Soon Jessie pulled Chase up and just held him tight, he didn't care what anybody thought at the moment, he knew this guy needed to be cared for. The whole time Chase was crying Jessie held him, right there in the middle of the outside lunch tables. When Chase finally calmed down he looked up at Jessie, who smiled at him. All Chase could do was smile back; he realized that this Jessie was melting the coldness that he presently had toward the South. Maybe chivalry wasn't dead after all. A few minutes later he heard a siren coming closer and he sat up. He didn't want to go to the hospital, just get checked out by the EMT. It seemed that he had a date that night, and he wanted to be ready!
