Case Closed Part 4
Vintage Duluth Muscle
"Married one week today, babe. Is that why you're so damned quiet?"
Pete slowed down as we were jogging, then stopped completely, resting his hands on his knees and started to twist his torso. I slowed with him, and stood on the side of the road as the morning traffic on Becks Road whizzed by. "There's a lot on my mind, Pete. It's just part of who I am. When things are going great, I expect the hammer to fall."
"Well if that is the case, you must be the most optimistic pessimist I have ever met. There – I knew that would make you smile." Pete twisted his upper torso. Sweat was beading up on his furry chest. It glistened in the morning light. I reached over and tapped out our secret message; 1-4-3. Pete responded in kind, then said "I love you too, Kyle. But I gotta tell you, I see nothing but good things in our future. I still wonder why you are seeing the bad."
"Pete, we only have to look down our road a little to see why my apprehension is justified. Charlie and Angelo are taking it slow. A few of the other guys are hesitant too. I gotta say however, it was a bit of a shock to see Frank and Rolf arrive at the game together last night. There was an openness I never would have expected."
"I know. I've never seen Rolf look so happy. He looked exceptionally elated as he and Frank were heading out to get something to eat after the game. It's like a weight has lifted off his shoulders."
********************
Frank cocked his head, then bit his lower lip as he swept the razor up, under his chin. He continued the daily ritual, ensuring he was getting the pesky stubble along his neck. If it was his choice, he'd let it grow into a tailored beard, but that didn't meet regulations. He could opt for a trimmed, moustache. Moustaches were almost a cliché on Duluth cops, but they never suited him.
When he was done with his shaving, Frank appraised himself in the mirror, leaning in for clarification. Though he tried to convince himself he looked young for his age, physical evidence showed differently. A quick jab to his lower back, reminded him that he was not the bulletproof young man he once was.
The cumulative effects of a full day on the force, in the bed, and on the ballfield, resulted in the pain that was now consuming him. It didn't help that he was running on 4 hours of sleep which was the result of Rolf's confession that ran late into the morning hours. The Captain opened the medicine cabinet. BixMart brand Ibuprofen, would do the trick, temporarily.
********************
Pete opened the door for me, then almost immediately pulled me into his arms. "Husband, I am not sure what's coming over me, but I just have this need."
I sensed he wanted to say more. "Shhhh," I said, bringing a finger to my lips. "I need your touch too. We got enough time, why don't you start the shower, while I get something to wear to work."
Pete walked downstairs as I took the slate steps up. I found the shirt that I had custom-made to match Pete's Plum Crazy Charger, and picked a pair of khakis. It would be perfect for a casual Friday at work.
I ran back downstairs where I heard the shower already running. I took off my running clothes, throwing them by Pete's, and then went into the shower. Pete's furry chest and crotch were already covered in suds. He held his hands out. "I'm all yours, handsome."
My dick throbbed at the sound of his voice. I walked forward, into his open arms. He embraced me and did a solo version of our bear-wash. He grabbed the body wash from its perch on the tiled wall. "When I said "I do," to you, I made a promise to take care of you, Kyle." Pete's voice was tender, as were his strong, masculine hands. "I promised it in front of your Mom, Kyle. You may not know this, but I also promised your dad."
"But most of all, I promised you." Pete pulled me away from the shower's spray, and poured body wash on my shoulder. He methodically cleansed me. Though both of us were hard, our shower was sensual, not sexual. I soon realized he was catching every detail of my body, with his eyes. Without my glasses, I'm nearly blind, yet I could see the need in his eyes. Pete had this ability to smile, using only his eyes.
"One week Babe. Why are you, so damned quiet?" I laughed.
"Never been happier babe. It's like that song. It took my whole lifetime to find you, Now It's gonna take the rest of my life to keep you."
Damn, Pete gave me my earworm for the day. No matter what would happen, I was ensured that Barry White would be the soundtrack in my mind.
********************
With his uniform ritual complete, Frank returned to the church's master bathroom. The generic Ibuprofen was kicking in, and the pain was ebbing. He looked at his reflection in the mirror. He smoothed the tuck of his shirt, adjusted the bulge in his pants, and checked how his hat fit on his head. He noticed that his hair needed to be trimmed, and was reminded of Rudy's offer during last night's game. "I might be able to fit you in tomorrow."
With his pain, easing, Frank suddenly felt like the younger man he often thought himself to be. If he was quiet, he could grab his keys and leave, without waking Rolf.
He was at the stairs when he heard "Not so fast. I thought we agreed that we'd always say, see you later."
Frank turned around. "You're awake. You should be sleeping. We talked late into the night and you deserve your rest."
"I've been awake for a while. Frank, I could watch you get dressed, twenty-four, seven. The mere fact you are my man is great enough. But to watch my man methodically turn into a Police Captain – FUCK – that's beyond sexy. You keep this up and I'll end up with a uniform fetish."
Frank returned to the bed and leaned down, kissing Rolf first on the forehead, then on his lips. Rolf pulled him onto the bed. "Watch out for the gun, it's loaded," Frank said.
"After last night, that's a miracle," Rolf laughed. "Frank, you'd better go, before I cock your gun, and make you late."
"I think the miracle is that we found each other, Rolf. But, you are right. I made a promise to myself that I would help a friend start a new life. Gonna make good on that promise this morning."
********************
Before I left for work, Pete and I put out the American flag that he said, was in my Dad's honor. He held me as we looked at it, then kissed me goodbye. I walked around the chalet, and then on a whim, got into my `70s Dodge Dart. It was the perfect day, and the Dart matched my shirt. I drove by Rudy's barbershop, and noticed him putting up the "Open for Business" sign, so I circled the block.
At last night's softball game, Rudy let it drop that he was going on a date tonight with Al. A quick glance at my rear-view mirror reminded me that our shower didn't include a shave, and I had also missed my morning cup of coffee. I parked the Dart, and opened the screen-door to the barbershop. "Is the coffee on?" I asked.
"Kyle, It's always on for you." How can I help you today?"
********************
The Captain nodded to Jason. "Are you ready?"
"As I'll ever be. How often does a Son pick his Dad up from Jail? It's not something you prepare for."
"Just remember it's not often a Dad finds himself in that position. It isn't often when a cop will do that for a former colleague, either."
"Captain, I just don't know how to feel. He had all those years of chances to get back into my life. What kind of fuck up gets back into his son's life by baiting the police with dildos, for fuck sake?"
Frank laughed. "Jase, Gordo isn't your average man, cop or dad by any stretch of the imagination."
"But he's all I got. Isn't he?"
"You got more than that. You have a wife, in-laws, friends, and most importantly, soon you'll have a son of your own. Maybe then you'll understand why your dad did what he did. In the meantime, you gotta work on what you have with your dad. I promise to help you and him any way that I can."
"Well, I guess it starts now, huh?" Jason looked up. His dad was emerging from the Jail, looking quite bewildered. Jason rolled down his window. "Over here Dad," Jason yelled.
Gordy walked towards Frank's sedan. When he got in the back-passenger-side seat, Frank looked over his shoulder. "Where to, Gordo? Breakfast?"
Gordy reached into his wallet and pulled out Rudy's business card, giving it to The Captain. "I think if it's all right with the two of you, I'll ask you to drop me off here. Then you can go on with your day."
"Gordo, as far as I am concerned, You are our day."
The air was motionless in Frank's sedan as he pulled away from the Jail. From his vantage point, Frank saw Gordy in the rear-view mirror and knew his friend was a broken man. "Rudy's Barbershop it is, and then we can discuss your future."
********************
Rudy had me in his chair, laid back, and with a razor at my beard-line. "This is a little different than the last time, isn't it Kyle?" he winked.
"You used every trick in the book to get me naked, didn't you? But I gotta admit. Damn, that was hot."
"It was," he said, shaking his head. "Kyle, you awakened something in me, something that I hadn't faced in years.
"It was something you needed to face, wasn't it?"
"I know. Fuck! Kyle, I'm going on a date tonight. A full-fledged, get dressed up in a suit and tie, date. And my date will be wearing a suit and tie too. I'm giddy about going on a date with a man. Are you fucking kidding me? Look at me, I'm getting a boner just thinking about it." He brushed his smock aside, showing me the lump in his pants.
I was tempted to give him a quick grope, but the bell on the screen-door alerted me to the fact that we'd soon have company.
From my angle, I couldn't see who entered, but I quickly recognized the voice. "Kyle – Fucking – Ravinka. How the hell are ya buddy? Rudy, you gotta do something about the quality of the patrons you attract."
"Peanut, you should know this better than anyone," Rudy responded.
Yep, it was West Duluth's own micro-busy-body, Peanut. He was the type to never know a rumor, he didn't like to spread, which made me suddenly button my lip. "So, how's married life treating you, Kyle? Pete got your – um you – um – wore out yet?"
"Damn, Peanut, I thought we had a talk about that." Rudy looked genuinely pissed off at Peanut. "Pete and Kyle's personal life is none of your fucking business."
"I know, Rudy. Sorry Kyle. Trying to turn over a new leaf. Even asked a girl out on a date. That's why I'm here. Rudy promised me he'd give me the full treatment. Then maybe the girl will give this the full treatment later."
From the mirror, I could see that Peanut was shaking a healthy sized lump in his pants. I think Rudy and I shook our heads in unison, but Rudy put his thoughts into words. "Peanut, remember our discussion," he said calmly." I said I would cut your hair, and give you a shave, if you were taking a girl on a date. You were gonna lead with your humor and caring heart, and not that snake in your trousers."
"Like I said, Change ain't that easy Rudy. No wonder I never get a second date."
"So, Peanut, tell me. Is your dick really that big?" I asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" he laughed. "Sorry. Damn, Kyle. This restraint bit is tough. I've been trying to stop gossiping, and you guys don't make it easy. Seems like everyone I know is dipping their dick into the man pond lately. And I've heard something about a certain insurance salesman. Plus, there was an arrest just the other day. My head is swimming, and I'm barely keeping afloat."
"Maybe you need to concentrate on your date tonight, instead. What are you gonna wear? Where are you gonna go?" I asked.
"I dunno. T-shirt and jeans I suppose. I'll take her to the Perkin's."
"Hell, that doesn't sound like a date. Tell you what, I'll take some time off this afternoon and bring you shopping. We'll get you hooked up for your date," I offered.
Peanut grabbed a Styrofoam cup and filled it with coffee. "Why is everyone suddenly wanting to help little ol' Peanut?" he said absentmindedly, while he stirred his coffee.
"Peanut, you asked me how things are going with me and Pete. I'll be honest and tell you that I've never been better in my life. I want all of my friends to find a happiness like I have."
"Friends? Really? Not sure if I deserve that. Before I knew who you were seeing, I spread more than a few stories about you on the Peanut grapevine."
I had to smile at his malapropism. I was going to comment, when the screen-door's bell sounded once again and we were joined by Frank, Jason, and a man I had seen about town.
"How can I help you guys?" Rudy asked.
Frank handed Rudy the business card. "My friend Gordo here was given this a few weeks back. He needs a haircut and shave, and I need a trim, myself. Are you open to some new clients today?"
"Have a seat. The coffee's on, you are welcome to it. I'm just about done with Kyle here, and only Peanut is ahead of you in line. If you don't want to wait, come back in thirty minutes or so."
"No, I believe this will be fine," Gordy said. "It'll be fun to talk to my old friend Olaf."
"Damn Gordy, that is you. You are the only one who can call me Olaf, and get away with it."
The two men hugged while Rudy trimmed my beard, then cleaned me with a warm towel. As I exited the chair, Rudy gestured to the open seat. "Peanut, you're up."
I slipped my business card into Peanut's pocket. "Call me after 1:00 today. We're gonna make you look like a million bucks for your date tonight, but on a Peanut budget."
"Thanks, my friend," he said. I could have sworn I heard his voice break when he said the word friend. I slipped Rudy a twenty, then stepped out the door.
********************
My day at work was uneventful. Pete stopped by with lunch, which was unexpected. I told him about my plans for the afternoon. "Peanut is something else, isn't he?" Pete chuckled.
"Tell me about it. He seems to be up-to-date on all of the gossip, but yet I don't remember him joining in while there was all the hubbub about our wedding."
"Maybe because I had his back once in a bar fight. Or should I say I prevented the bar fight from happening. The other guy backed off pretty quickly when he realized who he was dealing with."
I was beginning to understand Peanut the more I talked to Pete. All his bluster and humor couldn't mask his insecurities. I used to think a large penis was nature's way to compensate for something else the man lacked. However, Pete was the exception. I couldn't figure out what Pete's dick was compensation for.
Peanut on the other hand was different. His almost mythically large cock made up for so many shortcomings. The more I thought about it, I wondered if they caused the shortcomings. It was easy for him to use his self-deprecating humor, and large dick, as an excuse to not face the issue. It almost seemed as if he considered his penis as his get out of jail card. If he was ever in a jam, his penis would solve the issue.

"C'mon, let's check out the clearance racks." While in college, I had worked at a Downtown Minneapolis, old-school, department store. During my tenure there, I learned about men's clothing. I knew what to look for in a quality garment, and could size up a customer, saving him time when it came to buying what he needed. I could also upsell him, letting him know the benefit of investing in good clothes. Peanut was a tough upsell.
Luckily there were a couple of pair of khakis in Peanut's size hanging on the 50% off rack. I looked at them, while Peanut browsed through some clearance shirts. "Pick out some options, these are actually good quality, for the price. BixMart has values if you look for them."
"But those khaki's make me look like every Tom, Dick and Harry. Why can't I let a lady love me, for being me?"
"And how has that, worked for you?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Touché, my friend, touché. What do you think of these?"
"Sometimes it is obvious why clothing gets marked down, buddy." Three of the four shirts he picked out, were loud patterns in garish colors. The fourth one was promising, and would look nice with the darker khakis I had found. Using my salesman experience, I tried to steer him toward that one, but he kept on going back to the other three.
"Try them on, let's see how they look," I said. "The fitting room is over there."
We walked over to the fitting room with two pairs of khakis and four shirts. Jeanette, the fitting room attendant counted the hangers, and then nodded towards the men's fitting rooms. "Come out and show us. Maybe Jeanette can give us a woman's opinion."
Peanut went into the fitting room, so I turned to Jeanette. "Don't hold back. My friend is going on a date tonight and doesn't want to scare her off."
"Then why did he grab that one shirt? Sometimes I can tell a shirt is gonna be marked down, the moment we get it in." She laughed as she went about her business.
Peanut emerged from the fitting room. "Well, what do you think?"
"Yikes" Jeanette exclaimed, her arm shielding her eyes. "Your date will see you coming a mile away."
"Isn't it good to be noticed?"
"Do you want her to notice the man in the shirt, or the shirt on the man? I do have to say, those slacks fit you nicely. Isn't there a shirt among those four, that will look better with those slacks?"
"Try the one I picked out for you, Peanut. At least we know you got the size right, I will go check for another alternative."
When Peanut returned to the fitting room, Jeanette grabbed my wrist. "What kind of name is Peanut? Tell me, just what is his date going to call him?"
I thought about that question, while I went back to the clearance racks. I saw another shirt in his size, a knit one which gave him options, then went back to the fitting room. Peanut came out with the three garish shirts, dropped them on the counter, and then posed for us in the shirt I picked out.
"Well, how do I look?" He asked.
"Like a gentleman about ready to go on a date," Jeanette answered.
"That's good enough for me," Peanut said.
"Here, try these on, and try on the other pants," I said.
"I thought you were going to save me money," Peanut laughed.
"You'd be getting all of them for about the price of just the pants at a better department store, and these are pretty good quality. Plus, they are pieces that you'll be able to wear for a long time. It's an investment in yourself."
"Not sure I'm worthy of it."
Jeanette stopped him. "Listen buster, you'll never get a second date with that kind of attitude. Women don't like cocky men, but we need at least some confidence. When you try to look good for yourself, it reflects on your date as well."
Peanut shrugged his shoulder. "I never thought of it that way." He turned and went back into the fitting room, emerging later with the second pair of pants and the knit shirt. "Well?" he started to ask, then stopped himself. "I looked in the mirror in the fitting room. I think I like this shirt more, but with the other pants. Plus I think LeAnn will like the color."
"Now that is the kind of confidence women like," Jeanette offered. When Peanut went back to the fitting room, Jeanette whispered to me "What's with the pager? Even old fogies like me are starting to get cell phones. It's Y2K after all."
"We'll meander over by electronics after we leave here." While Peanut gathered the clothes he wanted, I picked out a couple pairs of hiking shorts in his size, and two colored t-shirts and threw them into my cart. We walked over to electronics where I stopped to look at the cell phones. The pay-as-you-go market was just starting, so I steered my cart to the display.
"Damn, I'd like a cellphone, but I'm still working on my credit."
"These are ideal for you then, you just buy a card for minutes. It's sort of like refilling your gas tank."
"You mean I could get a cell phone and get rid of this? No one contacts me on it anyway."
"Yep bud. Pagers are a thing of the past. Do you want your date to think you are not with the times?"
Peanut looked up at me and shook his head. "You know, I am beginning to get what you guys have been telling me. From Pete to Rudy to you, you all have been telling me to be myself, then you say don't be myself. It confused me at first. But now I realize you want me to be a better version of myself."
"That's pretty much it, Peanut. It's as simple as that."
"You know, when I was in high school all the guys would remark about my – you know – my – this," he whispered, pointing to his crotch. "They all thought I would be having girls lined up at my door. It made me think it was all I needed to attract a woman. All this time I listened to my straight buddies, and I thought I was a fuck up because I never got into a good relationship. Now, I'm talking to a gay guy and it makes sense. You'd think the gay guys would be the ones focused on what I got down there."
"Peanut, dick size isn't everything. I've played with guys with all different sizes and it's always the man behind the dick that makes it fun. Be your hot self, first. Romance the woman, show her how sweet you can be. Then when it is finally time for you two to make love, your big dick will be a bonus."
"That's a lot to think about. I may need pointers from the gay guy again. I wish I was able to bring you along on my dates."
"Buy one of those, and you can. If you have any questions, you can break away and call me."
With the help of the electronics employee. Peanut picked out a cell phone. The BixMart employee even suggested he apply for a credit card and save ten percent. Peanut reluctantly applied, and was amazed that he was approved. He added his clothes to the bill, and when everything was bagged, we headed to the front check-lanes. I paid for my purchases then we headed out to my Dart.
We drove back to my office, where we went on my computer and set up his new phone. I then gave him my purchases. I pointed out that everything was interchangeable, and the t-shirts were a way to layer for color and style. He stood and shook his head. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"So, your saying this is an investment in me. What do you get out of it? I have a feeling it isn't my dick."
"Peanut, when a friend is happy, I'm happy." I thought for a minute, then chuckled. "I do have friends, even gay friends, who I have never played with. And remember, the sexiest muscle in the male body isn't down here," I grabbed my crotch. "But up here," I tapped my head."
"I'm beginning to see that," he said.
I hugged Peanut, then helped him put his purchases in his car. As he drove off, I pulled my own phone from my pocket, flipped it open, and called Pete. "I'm feeling the need to take the most wonderful man in the universe, out on a date. What would you say to a steak down at The Pickwick?"
"Moo," was his response.

Rudy flipped the sign on the door to his barbershop. He flicked the switch, grabbed the small bag that Rolf left for him, then strode upstairs to his apartment. On warmer summer days, such as this one, Rudy rarely wore much under his barber's smock. With his smock, shirt and shorts neatly draped on his easy chair, Rudy was down to his skivvies. He took those off, first ensuring that his blinds were down. There was a good cross breeze from the deck as he walked naked to his bathroom.
Remembering Rolf's helpful hints, Rudy rummaged through his linen closet. After he rooted around for a few minutes, he found what he was looking for. He hadn't used it for a long time, and certainly never for this reason. The enema bag, with its hose and nozzle, only came out as a last resort.
But this time was different. He wanted to be ready for Al tonight, just in case. He filled the enema bottle with warm water, then hooked it on the shower head before stepping in. Rudy's dick firmed up as he grabbed the lube bottle from the shelf. He coated the nozzle and then inserted it into his ass. He hesitated for a moment, adjusting to the nozzle being in his ass. He then opened the valve on the enema bag, allowing the warm water to enter him.
********************
Al stood in front of his full-length bedroom mirror. The vaguely Spanish motif of the wooden frame, pegged it as a purchase he made in the Seventies, during his wrestling years. Al considered the man looking back at him in the mirror. All these years later, and the man staring back was still a stud. The sport coat was a bit on the snug side, but he didn't need to button all the buttons. In fact, when he wore it open it helped accent the tie he had picked out. Somehow though, it seemed a bit too conservative for a date.
In the reflection of the mirror, he spied the purple shirt he had gotten from Pete and Kyle, during the World of Wheels show. He quickly changed into it, then tried on his sport coat. Truth be told, this was more his style, he thought to himself while he looked in the mirror. Just a bit of flash, but toned down by the sport coat and slacks.
However, he was the one who suggested they get dressed up for their date. Maybe a different shirt and tie would bridge the distance between the two looks. He walked over to his closet, and started to rummage through. He then thought of the clothes he brought back with him from Florida.
********************
"Are you sure about this, Captain?"
"Gordo, my house is your house. This room has been empty since I bought the place. The bed is darn near new. There should be no reason why a friend of mine is homeless."
"And it's not like Ashley and I have the room," Jason added.
"What have you told Ashley about me, Son?"
"Nothing, yet." Jason's voice became a whisper. "Sorry Dad, she hasn't been easy to live with lately. This would just be one more thing for her to blow up about."
"You'll figure it out, Jason," The Captain said. "Gordo can stay here until he gets his feet on the ground. It will buy you time. `Sides, she doesn't need to know everything about him coming back. It should only matter that he is back in his son's and grandson's lives. But enough of that, I'm famished. Who wants to be my guest at The Pickwick for a nice steak dinner?"
"I have to head home and make dinner for Ash. You two should head off and get reacquainted. Maybe call Rolf and..."
Frank interrupted his protégé. "I think you are right. It's time Gordo and I get reacquainted. I bet we both have a lot to share."
********************
Rudy arched his back, closed his eyes, and let the warm water flow over his body. His dick stood out hard and proud. Al would be over in twenty minutes to pick him up, so he was cutting it close. However, it felt good to be clean, inside and out. The last part was an understatement. He had found the prep-work to be extremely sensual. Rolf's coaching had awakened something deep within him, and the enema heightened it.
His dick had been on the verge of hardness ever since he got undressed, bobbing to full-on hard-on frequently. As the shower washed off the last vestige of suds on his pubes, Rudy gingerly washed his ass one last time. He turned to rinse, allowing one finger to breach his hole. He thought of the warm night he spent in Rolf's side yard when Rolf's words inspired this journey. "The anus is a muscle," Rolf had said. Rudy flexed his muscle on the invading digit, and thought of Al.
********************
Al took one last look in the entryway mirror. He smoothed his shirt, ensuring it was tucked crisply into his slacks. He adjusted the tie, the dimple was centered. "Perfect. The shirt from Florida was the right choice. I think I'll pick him up in the Continental."
Al flicked off the light, then went out to his garage. Though he considered the Continental to be a work in progress, it was still impressive. He motored the behemoth out of the garage, then hit the button on the garage door opener. He backed into the alley, then slowly drove it onto the side street. Duluth potholes were unkind to his low-slung beast, but cars, especially his own, were built to be driven.
He wasn't expected for another fifteen minutes, so he took his time. The Continental was the ultimate boulevard cruiser, and tonight's weather was perfect for a top-down drive. He could sense that people were looking at him as he drove through the Spirit Valley business district. Maybe they were looking at the handsome man in a classic piece of Detroit Iron, or maybe it was the Barry White coming from his custom sound system that caught their attention. Al was okay with either, since date nights were an opportunity to impress.
But fuck. Tonight, his date was with a 6'3", white haired, flat-topped barber. His dick chubbed up at the thought. He had dressed up hundreds of times, trying to impress a pretty, usually petite, woman, but tonight he had checked himself in the mirror numerous times, for a man larger than himself.
The thing that made Al sit with more authority in his Continental was that none of the impressed onlookers had any clue about who Al was dating. Would it be obvious to the staff at The Pickwick? Would it be obvious to the people in the Rose Garden, during his planned, after-date, stroll? Would it be obvious to his neighbors, when he brought Rudy back to his house later?
For once, he didn't fucking care. He was going on a date with a man, someone for which he had an attraction. The West Duluth gossips could fuck themselves, Peanut included. He had to laugh at that one, realizing that Peanut was probably physically capable of fucking himself.
Al got to Rudy's barbershop too early, so he drove one more block to see if Rolf was around. He spied Rolf in the side yard, and pulled the Lincoln over and turned down the music. Rolf came over, leaned on the wide door frame of the Continental. "Big date tonight, huh?"
"Huh, how did you know?"
"You pulled out all of the stops," Rolf looked left and right, then lowered his voice. "Be a gentleman tonight, open his doors, give him compliments, make him feel like a king," he said.
"You make it sound like I've never been on a date before. What do you take me for, Rolf?"
"But how many dates have you gone on with men? Just because you share the same equipment, doesn't mean that he won't appreciate those special touches. Understand that he is apprehensive too."
"I hear ya, Rolf. I'm starting to get nervous. I'm never nervous."
"Nervous energy can be a good motivator." Rolf lowered his voice. "It also can be as sexy as hell. Damn, just thinking back to last night. Too bad my man had to make other plans for tonight."
Al glanced at his watch. "Well, I gotta run, I don't want to keep him waiting."
Al barely heard Rolf respond as he his classic mid-sixties Lincoln rumbled to life. In his rear-view mirror, he saw Rolf wave. It was a short drive to the barbershop, so he took it slow. Once his Continental was parked, he got out and knocked on the front door of the shop.
He momentarily felt out of place. His sport coat, shirt and tie weren't common for the working-class neighborhood. He almost regretted his suggestion that they dress up for their date, but that was quickly dashed when Rudy opened the door.
The cut of Rudy's own sport coat, accented his 6'3" height. His shoulders looked impossibly broad. The early evening sun caught Rudy's flat-top haircut, causing it to shine. Al suddenly wanted to cancel dinner and head right to his house with Rudy, but he remembered the goal for the night. "Damn, you look handsome my friend. I can't wait to show you what I have planned for us."
"Likewise, Al," Rudy said.

Pete and I arrived at the restaurant and were lucky to find a parking spot. Our luck continued inside as the hostess lead us to a table near the windows. On our way, I noticed how the bright outside light, silhouetted the diners sitting near the window. It left them appearing almost anonymous.
While looking at the menus, we saw Rudy and Al being escorted to their table. Pete at first suggested that we should invite them over, but I thought they might want to have some privacy. A few minutes later, the Police Captain, Frank arrived with his friend Gordy who I remembered from the barbershop. They were seated a few tables over, but like Rudy and Al, they didn't notice us.
It was odd, being in such an open space, yet feeling invisible. Pete and I talked quietly about our week as we considered the menu. I was able to catch glimpses of my friends at the other table. I wasn't sure about the relationship between The Captain, and Gordy, but their hushed tones clued me in to their need for privacy.
Rudy and Al's table was slightly livelier. There was something in Al's eyes that I hadn't seen before. I had seen many emotions from Al during the time I've known him, but this was a new one. It was a look of hunger and elation that I saw on Al's face, every time he looked at Rudy.
It was all in his eyes. During his glory days in the wrestling arena, Al could stare down an opponent like no other. His eyes made him look like the meanest motherfucker on the planet. Even Pete had admitted to me that sometimes Al would get into his Cruncher persona so much, it scared him.
I had also seen Al's eyes betray his horniness. The few times we played together, I'd catch him looking at me in a way that almost scared me. Almost, I say, because there would always be a point where the look would break and a smile would develop on his full lips.
The look he gave Rudy was different. I am not sure either man noticed, nor anyone else in the room caught on, but I did. His eyes were smiling, working overtime to catch every detail of the man he was sharing dinner with. There was a lightness to Al that I hadn't seen before. Then I realized it. Al looked the same way at Rudy, that Pete looked at me, that morning in the shower.
I don't think Rudy was oblivious to Al's emotions either. I caught him looking away, blushing as they spoke. He looked away twice as their drink order arrived, and Al proposed a toast. They looked like they were on a prom date, and not two men well into their fifties sharing dinner.
I caught it all from the anonymity of our window-side table.

Peanut arrived at The Pickwick just as their Happy Hour traffic had died down. The dining room was busy, with a half hour waiting list, so he opted for a table in the bar side. The old-world décor certainly was more impressive than the chain restaurants he usually brought dates to. The dark booth they chose added a certain intimacy to their date.
His date, LeAnn was more than he could have wished for. She wore a flattering cotton dress which showed off her figure without being too revealing. He found himself able to talk naturally with LeAnn, it didn't seem forced. He caught himself thinking "So, this is what a date, looks like."
The first hiccup was when the menu arrived. He could sense that his date felt the same "sticker shock" looking at the prices. This wasn't the same as using a buy-one get-one coupon at Perkin's. Then there was a lull in the conversation that worried Peanut. He wanted his date to be perfect, but he felt it quickly going south. He then remembered the phone that was securely attached to his belt.
"Sorry, it's on vibrate. I gotta take this."
Peanut quickly left the booth, regretting his white lie. Outside in the parking lot, he dialed the only phone number he had entered into his phone, mine.
********************
I felt my phone vibrate just as our appetizer had arrived. "Sorry I gotta take this outside, Pete." He nodded as I got up and headed to the door, answering the phone as I walked. I was unaware if any of our friends noticed me as I left the dining room.
When I got outside, I was surprised to find Peanut leaning against the façade. "Funny seeing you here," I said. "So what's the emergency?"
"I tried being me, and it was working, but damn buddy, it's hard being me, without being me, if you get my drift."
"First of all, you look great buddy. Did she say anything about that?
"Yeah, she liked the shirt. Thought I spent a lot on it. Now she'll probably think I am loaded and will buy everything off the menu."
"Don't rush to conclusions. So, tell me, how did she look?"
"Like I traded up. Damn Kyle, she looks so pretty, I didn't know what to say. I started to joke, then worried I would tell my usual jokes from the bar. Like I said, I traded up, and probably can't afford her. I'll screw up a date with a woman that is perfect for me. We have a lot in common, Kyle, she even likes wrestling."
"I doubt that is the case. You are over-thinking this buddy. Remember, be yourself. It never works when you try to be someone you are not. Just think of your strengths. You are funny, reasonably good looking, dressed well due to a friend," I winked. "And people actually like you for more than that dick of yours."
"Now, I got one question," I pulled out my wallet and opened it. "Do you need any help with the bill?"
"Actually, I got it, I just gotta dust the cobwebs off my own wallet."
I slapped him on the shoulder. "You got this Peanut. Go back in there and be your charming self."
I opened the door for Peanut, and then walked back to our table. I caught Al's eye as I passed their table. He nodded and smiled at me as I sat down. I could sense his whole demeanor change. The elation was gone from his eyes. He seemed more guarded as he chatted with Rudy, looking our way numerous times.
I felt that somehow Pete and I had intruded on a very private moment. When our steaks arrived, I leaned in and whispered to Pete, "Let's rush through this and leave them some space."
"Sounds like a good idea, hubby," he winked.
As we paid our bills, I momentarily contemplated picking up Peanut's tab. That wouldn't look good with his date, however. Instead, I steered Pete into bar. Barry White was playing on their sound system as we pretended that we accidentally ran into Peanut.
"How's my number-one fan?" Pete asked. "And who is this pretty woman with you?"
********************
"Do you have room for dessert? We can walk it off later."
Rudy contemplated the question, then blushed as he looked at Al. Once again, he saw the smile in Al's eyes. "Dessert sounds great, and so does a walk. I haven't been on the Lakewalk in months."
"More like years for me," Al said. Al quickly scanned the dining room. "Damn, Rudy. I've thoroughly enjoyed this evening. I feel like I've been smiling all evening."
Rudy leaned in. "You had me worried for a while there. You got quiet."
"I hate to admit it, but I saw someone I knew." Al glanced around the room again. "I used to waltz into this place in my wrestling days as if I owned the joint."
Rudy placed his hand on the table, Al covered it with his own. His eyes continued to smile as he looked into his friend's eyes. "Rudy, right now I don't care what anyone in this room thinks about me. I only care what you think."
"I think we have all night to show each other what we think," Rudy said. He then took his hand off the table, and hunched forward so he could touch Al on his knee. "And if that isn't enough time, we have the weekend."

Pete and I got in my Dart and drove north to Scenic Highway 61. I found the spot that I had driven to on the last day of February, and pulled in.
"What's this all about?" Pete finally asked.
I pulled out my phone "No reception out here. Peanut must rely on his own instincts for the rest of the date. Plus, I think a few others need their space."
"Don't take this wrong, but do you ever feel like the Den Mother to these guys?"
"Does a Den Mother have this?" I asked, squeezing the bulge in my pants.
"I sure hope not, and no Den Mother is ever getting this again," Pete said, squeezing his own bulge.

"We're over-dressed for this," Rudy said as he and Al walked past the Fitger's complex, towards the Lakewalk. "But if we stick out in the crowd, I don't mind. I'm old enough to no longer give a fuck what people think."
The two men joined the Lakewalk, and headed towards Canal Park. The path took them below the Fitger's complex, and closer to shores of Lake Superior. Most people on the walk were dressed casually in shorts and t-shirts. A few were prepared for the quick changes in weather with a jacket or sweatshirt. Two large men in suits, stood out.
Their conversation was benign. Weather, local points of interest, tourism, and Lake Superior agates were among the topics. It was almost intuitive when they u-turned and headed back to towards the Leif Erickson Viking ship, statue, and Rose Garden.
There was a fork in the path where Al started to head towards the lake, yet Rudy hesitated. Sensing he was alone, Al stopped and turned. "C'mon," he motioned. "I like this route."
Rudy stood there, then slowly took the same path, joining his friend. Al quietly looked at his friend, trying to appraise his reasoning for avoiding the route. The curve of the path brought them through the Northland Vietnam Veteran's Memorial.
Rudy looked up at the American and Minnesota flag as they flapped in the lake breeze, then at the granite wall. Again, he stopped as Al continued. Al looked back and saw the first tear form.
Rudy touched the wall, then covered his eyes and started sobbing. Al doubled back, then draped his hands over his friend's shoulder, pulling him into a hug. "I'm sorry buddy," Rudy said as he sobbed. "I thought I was stronger."
"No, my friend. Nothing to be sorry about. Let it out my man."
"I thought I was stronger. I thought I was stronger," Rudy repeated.
"No amount of strength can help you deal with how fucked up of a war, that was," Al answered. Rudy let his fingers brush over one name. Al made a mental note of it, but didn't push the issue.
"I just don't like anyone seeing me like this," Rudy sobbed.
"It's okay, let it out, let it out," Al whispered. "I just see a loving man. I can only imagine what you went through over there. Maybe we can talk about it one day."
"Don't get your hopes up, buddy." Rudy chuckled between the tears. "There are stories I've never told family or friends. I figure sooner or later I will forget. Then moments like this happen, and they all come flooding back."
"It sticks with you. Doesn't it?"
Al and Rudy looked back. Behind them was a bearded man about their age. His clothing, various pins and medals, knapsack, and guitar flung over his shoulder, betrayed a life on the streets. "Once a week I come down here, trying to wash away the memories. It hasn't worked yet."
"Thanks for your service," Al said. He reached into his wallet, looking for a business card.
"I don't need any charity, sir. I chose this life."
"No charity, but if you ever need a meal, or a friend, take this."
Rudy handed him, his card. "And if you ever need a haircut, or someone to talk to, call me."
"What? You don't like my braid?" the man asked. "It's much easier to maintain from my tent."
Rudy's laugh joined Al's. "No bud, no judgment here. Just want to help a fellow serviceman. `Sides, civilians have no clue what we went through."
"You're right, we don't, Rudy. But I'll do my best to listen, if I can."
The man looked at the business cards, and then pocketed them. "Well, Al, Rudy, I let you get on with your night. You look like you were celebrating something, all dressed up like that. Are you refugees from that wedding up in the Rose Garden? Or are you two men looking to help each other out?" The last part was said with a knowing wink. It was then that Al saw a small rainbow flag among the pins on the homeless man's clothing.
"Just two lucky men, out on a date," Rudy said, the smile returning to his face. "You got our cards, get a hold of us for any reason – uh – I'm sorry, I didn't get your name."
"That's because I didn't give it," he said, and then turned, and walked away.
"That was odd," Al said as he and Rudy continued the arched walkway up to the main Lakewalk. He avoided the topic of the Veteran's Memorial as they took the steps, and bridge to the Rose Garden. They soon found themselves amongst a wedding party. Rudy's mood lightened as they were mistaken for wedding guests, and even included by the event photographer in some of the wedding pictures. After a few quick photos, they escaped the Rose Garden, taking the Lakewalk back to Al's car.
The top was down on the Continental, as Al and Rudy drove towards Al's Denfeld neighborhood home. As the music of the Love Unlimited Orchestra swelled behind Barry White's deep voice, Al put his hand on Rudy's knee. "Is Barry White too obvious?" Al laughed. His raspy voice was deep.
"The only voice that's sexier, is yours, my friend."
"It's a bit chilly outside. Wanna join me in my basement for a cigar and a beer or two?"
"That's a good start. But I'm prepared for more," Rudy said. There was a need in Rudy's baritone timbre that was evident.
"Fuck!" Al growled, squeezing Rudy's knee. "I think I just found a voice that is sexier than mine."
"Wait `til later."

Pete and I had barely gotten back in cell phone range when Peanut rang. I pulled over, answered the phone and the words tumbled out of him.
"She likes me, we already planned a second date. She kissed me at her front door. I was a gentleman even though I wanted more, and I think she did too." Peanut finally caught his breath. "Do you have Rudy's cell number? I can't get a hold of him at the barbershop."
"I have a feeling there's a reason why you can't get a hold of him, Peanut. That's one thing you'll learn before your next date with LeAnn. Cell phones have their place, but not in the bedroom."
"I getcha, I getcha. I bet you and Pete know that rule too well."
"We do, Peanut, and speaking of, Pete and I will be putting this phone on vibrate soon, if you get what I'm saying."
********************
Rudy sat at the faux-wood bar, sipping his tap beer. Save for the large-screen TV and VCR, Al's basement looked virtually unchanged since the `70's. From the amber-glassed stemware, to the macramé owl, to the Hamm's Beer sign on the wall, the décor reminded him of the decade he returned from Nam. Unlike the thoughts that jackhammered his brain earlier at the Veteran's Memorial, these memories were comforting.
Rudy loosened his tie, and took another sip as Al bent over and slipped a tape into the VCR. "I hope you like this. It's one of my faves, Bi Bi Love," Al winked. "The guys are really hung," he whispered.
The movie started as Al lit two cigars, offering one to Rudy. Rudy inhaled deeply, then contemplated the cigar, rolling it between his fingers. "Don't worry about the smoke, I put in an air filtration system," Al said, removing his jacket.
Rudy reached out and grabbed Al by the arm. "Forget about all that, buddy. Set your sexy ass down. I'm here for you." Rudy pulled Al forward by his tie and kissed him deeply. "I mentioned something about spending the weekend together. That starts right now."
"Damn, I like this side of you." Al pulled Rudy off the stool, flicked his fingers through his friend's flat-top haircut, then returned the kiss. The stilted dialogue of the porn played in the background as the men kissed. Al unknotted Rudy's tie, then unbuttoned his friend's shirt. He reached into the shirt, and tweaked Rudy's right nipple.
When the kiss ended, Rudy leaned back on his stool, taking a slow drag off his cigar. He looked at Al. "Strip for your man. C'mon buddy. I know you wanna." He then nodded to the porn on the TV. "The man I'm looking at is hotter than those guys. We don't need that, do we?"
Al clicked the remote turning off the TV and VCR, then picked up another, turning on the local oldies station. Somewhat self-consciously he started to undo his shirt. "C'mon – strip – for – your – man." Rudy emphasized each word. Though his voice trailed off, his urgency grew. He took his cigar from the amber-glass ashtray and drew it across his face, allowing the smoke tendrils to drift into his nostrils. He inhaled deeply, then repeated huskily, "STRIP – FOR – YOUR – MAN."
It was now a command. The command was abetted once again as Barry White's voice growled from the speakers. Word for word, Al repeated the spoken intro. He didn't have the bass heavy boom of Barry, but his own gritty voice was sexy to Rudy. As an erotic dancer, Al was a pretty good wrestler. His moves weren't smooth, but his shirt was unbuttoned easily.
He swayed back and forth to the rhythm of the music, slowly shrugging his broad shoulders, allowing his shirt to fall to the ground. Rudy gulped as he saw Al's long, furry torso revealed. He was suddenly tongue-tied, only allowing a guttural "F-U-U-C-K-K" to escape his lips.
Al raised an eye brow. "I'm glad you like. But I gotta warn you, in the rush to get ready tonight, I forgot to put on underwear."
Al continued his dance as his right hand rubbed the bulge that was continuing down his pant leg. His left hand started a slow descent down from his shoulder, lingering at his nipple, over the gut that though strong, still lapped over the waist of his slacks. He unbuckled his belt, see-sawed it left and right, yet allowed it to remain in the belt loops. He then slid his hand down and angled his hard dick up, and to the right, then slowly tugged his zipper down.
Al found the groove of the music as his short legs started an agonizingly slow spin. He twisted his torso for as long as he could, first to the left, then to the right, as he lowered his trousers. He kept eye contact, smiling at Rudy as he revealed his naked ass. Rudy had mentioned that he planned to spend the weekend, and Al was more than ready to give up his butt to Rudy.
As he broke eye contact, only to look over his other shoulder, he saw Rudy sitting back, his firm, furry belly moving with every inhale of the cigar, firmly clamped in his lips. Finally, Al stood in front of Rudy. His firm dick was bobbing to the right, his own gut was quaking in time to the music. Yet all he could see was Rudy's eyes, locked on his own.
"Yeah," Rudy moaned, the cigar bouncing as he spoke. A smile curled his upper lip. He grabbed his cigar, and adjusted his own hard dick. "When I'm with a man, I want a fucking man." He took a long drag on his cigar, stood, walked to Al, grabbed his hard dick then leaned in to kiss him. They shared the smoke of the cigar as masculine tongue battle masculine tongue for space.
Al allowed his own pants to fall to the floor, then struggled to get Rudy out of his shirt. Al then slipped his hand into Rudy's waistband. "I see I'm not the only one to go commando tonight."
"Easier access my friend. I learned from my military days to be prepared." With Rudy's help, Al undid the waistband of Rudy's slacks then pushed them to the floor. He then held their naked furry bodies close together. With Al's shorter height, and Rudy's long legs, Al could fully cup Rudy's muscular ass. Though it felt odd to look up when in an embrace with another person Al's eyes caught Rudy's as Rudy bent down to kiss him.
The kiss grew passionate in seconds. Al's hands massaged the firm cheeks of his new friend as they ventured to the cleft. Once there, Al found the pucker, and plunged a finger in. He knew it went in too easily, and suspected the reason why. "Damn man, you are prepared."
Rudy's voice cracked as he confessed. "Can you believe at my age, I've never been fucked?"
"We have the weekend to change that, sexy." Al's eyes once again locked Rudy. The look caused Rudy to blush, and look away.
"Damn, I've never," they said in unison.
"Never what? Al asked.
"Never had anyone look at me that way before. It makes me feel – It makes me feel wanted, sexy – I don't know."
"I do want you, Rudy. And damn, I'm feeling something I never felt before. I've done my share of fucking around with guys before. But all fucking night, I've been looking at this man in front of me and feeling something new. There's something in your eyes my friend. I've never felt this way with a guy before, and only once or twice with women."
Al sat down on the bar stool, and motioned for Rudy to follow suit. He relit his cigar then took a gulp of beer. "Like you said, we got all weekend to spend with the sexiest, most masculine guy I know. We got time to savor the fine things in life before I make love to you. That's what we'll be doing you know."
********************
Rolf got off the phone, then quickly gathered his keys, a change of clothes, and a coat. He placed his CPAP in its case, then using the side entrance, locked up the church. The drive to Frank's house in his PT Cruiser gave him time to think. He had jumped to conclusions earlier about the reason why his lover had dropped their plans for dinner that night.
He had to laugh as he drove under the I-35 freeway. He used to kid a friend, telling him that the only exercise he got, was jumping to conclusions. Yet, here he was, the one thinking the worst of a situation. By the time he had gotten to 46th and Grand, he had absolved himself of all worries. He took Frank at his word that a private dinner was needed with an important friend.
He turned onto Frank's street, and then parked in the alley in much the same way as he had the few times he had previously visited Frank's house. He quietly shut the door of his PT, then walked to the backdoor where he was ready to slip into Frank's house, unnoticed.
He lifted his hand to knock, but heard Frank yell out. "Rolf, we're up front."
When he turned the corner, he saw Frank, and a friend sitting on two of three Adirondack chairs. Frank stood and hugged his lover then turned to Gordy. "Rolf, I want you to meet my good friend Gordo. He'll be staying here for a while. Gordo, I want to introduce you to my friend," Frank stammered, catching himself. "Gordo, I want to introduce you to the man who is making me happy, and is quickly becoming the love of my life, Rolf."
Gordy rose then hugged Rolf, patting him on his muscular shoulders. "Get love where you find it my friend," he whispered into Rolf's ear. He then looked at the Captain. "While my friend FC over here didn't tell me everything, he told me enough to know that he isn't lying when he said you were the love of his life.
Gordy shook his head and laughed, then continued. "I guess it takes a lot of man, to make that man, happy, Good on you Francis. If I can call you that."
"You've put up with me calling you Gordo all these years.

Rudy willed his dick down enough to finally allow the steam to flow. As he pissed the tap beer away he smiled. If you would have told him a month ago that he was about to make love to a man he had long idolized, he would have told you that you were shittin' him, plain and simple.
But as he heard Al straighten up the basement, picking up their clothes, and rinsing glasses, he realized he was about to give himself totally to another man. The man wasn't the wrestler that he had idolized, The Cruncher. And to be honest he wasn't even sure if the man was the somewhat bookish, multi-layered Al that he had gotten to know better just last week.
Instead he saw a third man. This man was loving, tender, and considerate. For a while it looked as if their evening was heading straight to bed where he'd be fucked relentlessly by Al. Instead they shared cigars while getting to know each other. The conversation reflected the depth of Al's large book collection and Rudy's knowledge of the Arrowhead region of Minnesota.
It somehow felt natural to talk as they sat naked, enjoying the tap beer and cigars. Clothed, Al was always precise and put together. Naked, he seemed free. He saw this as Brickhouse came on the oldies station, and Al got up to dance another seductive dance. It dawned on him that Al's striptease was as stilted as the porn's dialogue when he was fully clothed, but free and fluid as layers disappeared.
As the final drips of piss left Rudy's dick, Al entered the basement bathroom and nuzzled up to Rudy. "I'm ready when you are, let me just go grab some robes."
Rudy turned, catching Al's eyes once again. "I was just thinking I'd like to be naked as much of the weekend as possible, if that works for you."
Al contemplated the trip from the basement to his bedroom. "That should be no problem, stud."
"You show me the way. I'll gladly follow that ass," Rudy laughed.
Al flushed the toilet, then looked over his shoulder as he led the way upstairs. Al's broad shoulders narrowed down to a still-firm ass that moved with every step. As he took one step, Rudy slapped a cheek "Damn sexy ass, my friend."
"I've got nothing on you. Yours is like a Marine haircut, high and tight."
The barber reference wasn't lost on Rudy. "I used to love to cut hair for Marines. I think that's why I stuck with the flattop all these years."
Al turned around and stopped in his tracks. "Listen bud, I can't promise you more than the weekend. This is all so new to me, so I can't claim to know what is happening. I will say this, I promise to be gentle."
"At first."
He leered then started to tongue wrestle, Rudy.
"Like I said, gentle, at first. Then when I sense what we are capable of, no holding back."
He continued down the hall to the master bedroom. "I know it's a cliché, but this is where the magic happens." Rudy smiled at Al's statement. "Hell, I think I can use that cliché, after all I seduced you with Barry White tonight. He was always my go-to fuck music back in the day."
"So – Like I said – This is where the magic happens."
Al opened the door to his master bedroom and gestured for Rudy to step in. While the rest of the main floor of the house was packed to the gills with books, and the basement was a seventies throwback, the master bedroom was like a contemporary hotel suite. The size of the room was unexpected in a vintage Gothic home in the Denfeld neighborhood.
Al could sense that Rudy was surprised by the bedroom, so he gave him a tour. "I know it kills the resale value, but I took a three-bedroom home, and made it a two. The master bath is through here. If you go in there you'll notice I bought a new toothbrush just in case," he winked.
Rudy's bare feet felt the warmth of the plush rug that anchored the bed. The oak floors were stained a deep Jacobean color to match the dark woodwork of the house. Whoever did the remodel painstakingly retrofitted the moldings to match the original woodwork. There was a wall of dark wood-paneled closet doors. The Spanish style mirror leaning in the corner was the only thing that felt incongruous.
Rudy immediately understood that Al's bedroom was an oasis. He turned to his friend. "You mentioned something about magic." The men met in a kiss. Strong arms kneaded strong backs as they fell onto the bed. Al broke free from Rudy, then scooted his ass up the bed a bit, leaning back on the upholstered headboard.
Rudy crawled up between Al's legs, and nuzzled the firm dick that laid there. "I don't do this often enough," he said as he inhaled Al's musk. "You smell like a man," he growled, then engulfed Al's dick.
"Oh FUCK!" Al cried. He held Rudy's head, flicking his finger's over his barber's flattop. "Fucking Hot Marine, buddy. High and tight."
Rudy let Al's dick fall from his mouth, then winked at him. "I wasn't a Marine. I just liked to service them with a haircut. Only one serviceman got this special treatment. Rudy went back to sucking Al's dick down his throat. He reached up and felt his man's fur. Though someone in the wedding party claimed they looked like twins with their haircuts, Rudy reveled in the differences between them.
"Damn, I like your barreled chest. It puts mine to shame." Rudy started to lick his way up Al's big gut. "I also like your proportion. Your long torso and short legs are so hot buddy." Rudy nibbled Al's nipples while he stroked his man's dick. "I've always had a weakness for you buddy. `Bout time I own up to it."
Al leaned forward and pawed Rudy's ass. "You beat me by three inches, buddy. Most of that is in your long legs and high and tight ass. My squat legs worked in the wrestling ring, but those tree trunks you have, put me to shame." Al prodded Rudy's ass, pushing him up farther on the bed. "Looks like you got me beat in the dick department too, buddy. C'mon, scoot up a bit. Let me taste that dick."
Rudy wobbled to his feet on the plush bed. He grabbed the top edge of the upholstered headboard, then aimed his dick at Al's waiting tongue. Al's big hands grabbed Rudy's ass-cheeks and pulled him in. He nursed on Rudy's dick while his index finger toyed with his friend's pucker. His rough hands held Rudy's ass captive, allowing his tongue to massage Rudy's tasty cock.
Al's index finger found a home in Rudy's ass. He probed for a bit, feeling the warmth of his friend's butt. He pushed his head back into the upholstery, gasping for air. "God you're ready, aren't ya buddy?"
Al plunged a second finger into at the precise moment a Charley horse wracked Rudy's thigh. He slammed his dick out of Al's mouth, "Oh FUCK, OH-FUCK, OHFUCK-K-K," he screamed as he writhed on the bed.
"What the fuck did I do, buddy?" Al asked. "You okay?"
"Char – ley – horse – bud – dy," Rudy spat out each syllable.
Al maneuvered his body to where he could massage his friend's thigh. "Just relax, just relax" he whispered hoarsely. "We'll work this out." He got behind Rudy who was still writhing on the bed, and slowly massaged his thigh. "It got a bit intense, didn't it? Maybe we need to slow this down."
Al instructed Rudy to lay back on the bed with his legs spread. He looked Rudy in the eye as he continued to massage his thigh. "Just relax, buddy. Just relax. We got the weekend. This isn't a sprint, it's a marathon."
Al's calming voice, gentle touch, and loving eyes were having the desired effect on Rudy. Though the men had lost their hard-ons in the commotion, Al's deft touch was bringing them back. Al made no effort to grasp the dick that was throbbing inches from his hands. He wanted to ensure that the tense muscle was thoroughly relaxed before he could go further.
Rudy reached back, grabbing pillows to prop up his head. He avoided breaking the strong eye-contact they had. He noticed Al smiling at the move, so he returned the smile. "I've never had anyone look at me, the way you did earlier tonight. It worried me for a bit."
"I know. I caught myself," he chuckled. "It worried me too. Hell, I don't know what's going on right now. I only know I want it to be good for you. Your first time, that is." Al noticed that Rudy's thigh was no longer in spasms, so he sidled up next to him and whispered, "This will be your first time, won't it?"
Al's comforting voice had the right effect on Rudy, allaying all his fears. He turned to face Al, their eyes inches apart. "First, and hopefully not last, with a stud like you." He grabbed Al's face, and yanked him in for a kiss. Their eye contact broke as they closed their eyes, and reveled in the kiss.
They wrestled on the bed, kissing and groping each other. Then out of nowhere, Al broke the kiss. "Slow down, just relax. We don't need a replay of what happened earlier. You know, your ass-pucker is a muscle. It's gotta relax too if you ever expect to take this dick."
He grabbed Rudy's mitt, and brought it down to his dick. Rudy milked it, rubbing the pre-cum around the head. "You know a friend told me the anus is a muscle. I guess sometimes you gotta work the muscles, sometimes you gotta let them rest."
Al and Rudy found a slow groove of their own. Their kisses and caresses were tender and passionate, if less urgent. Rudy soon found himself on his side, with Al's hot breath at his hole. "Just relax, you're gonna love this."
Al licked Rudy's rosebud slowly. "High and tight," he said. "But getting less tight," Al laughed. Rudy remembered Rolf's words and exercised his ass, allowing the pucker to slowly open and close. Al growled and snorted as he rimmed his friend's butt. In the wrestling arena, those sounds were part of his persona. In bed they were organic, and soothing.
Rudy continued to clench and loosen his pucker on Al's exploring tongue and fingers. He wasn't sure when it happened, but soon Al's tongue had breached his hole with an ease he never expected. "God, you're ready buddy," Al hissed out. "Just keep on moving your butt muscles like that."
Al sidled up the bed, his breath heavy on Rudy's neck. He turned his head, then spit on his fingers, and fisted his dick. He repeated the action, and massaged the spit into Rudy's ass. Rudy, had followed Al's instructions, and was continuing to flex his pucker. Al pressed his spit-slick dick against Rudy's ass, then whispered into his ear "You're ready."
No words were said as Rudy pushed out, allowing Al's dick-head into his ass. Al caressed the larger man, and nibbled at his ear as he slowly inched his way into Rudy. The men moaned in unison, for different reasons, as three inches of dick were embedded in Rudy's virgin hole.
They laid there for seconds, neither one moving beyond their slow breathing. Rudy found he enjoyed the stuffed feeling in his ass, and remembered the oft-quoted line from the porn he had read. "Just pretend like you're taking a dump."
"Oh, fuck it!" he grunted, then slammed back on the rest of Al's thick dick. The pain was somewhere between the Charley horse he had just experienced, and the dull onset of a kidney stone attack. He opened his mouth to scream but nothing came out as Al's hand was them to muffle him.
Al's other hand went down to Rudy's waist, holding him tight. "Just relax buddy. Just relax. Give yourself time to get used to it. Then I'll show you how great it can be." Again, the voice that could be so menacing in the wrestling ring, was soothing in bed. The previous weekend, Rudy found out that Al was a multifaceted man. Right then he realized he was a multifaceted and considerate lover.
Al's rough hands felt tender as he ran them through Rudy's salt and pepper fur. "Damn when play with a man, I want a total man, and damn Rudy, you are that man. Sometime this weekend, I want this up my ass." He milked Rudy's dick, finding a large dollop of pre-cum. He scooped it with a finger, then brought it to Rudy's lips. Al thrust his finger in, allowing Rudy to nurse on it. As Rudy relaxed, tasting his own pre-cum, Al started to grind his dick into Rudy's butt.
Al breathed heavily on Rudy's neck as he increased the arc of this thrusts. "How does it feel?" he whispered, nibbling at Rudy's ear.
"Full, very full, and fucking intense," he hissed. "Oooomph! What did you just do?"
"I musta hit your prostate. Feels good, don't it?"
"Ooooomph, fuck yeah, buddy. Damn I thought I was just gonna get fucked and get this over with. You know, do the good buddy thing. But, damn."
"I told you I'd show you how great it can be." Rudy could sense the smile on Al's face as he said those words. He thought back to earlier in the evening, and how Al looked at him in the restaurant. He knew that somehow; Al's eyes were smiling as he made love to him. He craned his neck to look back, and caught a sliver of the smile. "Now I'm gonna show you how great I can be. Do you think you're ready for me to lift those legs and fuck you so we can be eye to eye as I seed you?"
Without words, Rudy popped free from Al, got on his back, and pulled up his thighs.
He breathed in heavy, then let it out. "Try me."
Al got on his knees between Rudy's legs, lifted his thighs higher, planted his dick at the pucker, then leaned in to kiss Rudy. Al bottomed out quickly as the men kissed. He then leaned back and proceeded to give Rudy the ride he had promised him.
"You are so fucking ready for this, my man." Thrusts that were gentle and measured earlier, were suddenly forceful and erratic. Al still had that loving smile as he fucked Rudy, but there was a lusty leer to it. Rudy was glad the headboard was upholstered, as Al fucked his ass harder. He reached back and plumped the pillows, enabling him to cushion the blow.
Once again, he thought of Rolf's words; "The anus is a muscle." He knew that meant he could use this muscle, to bring pleasure to his lover. He started to anticipate the erratic rhythm of Al's thrusts, and used his ass to clench on Al's withdrawals. Jabs at his prostate were rewarded with double contractions on Al's dick.
He remembered the other major sex muscle, the brain. He sensed that Al's looks had gone from the seemingly infatuated looks at the restaurant, to one of pure animal lust and need, so he played into that. "Yeah, you wanted a man," he growled. "Fuck me like a man, a man who can take anything you dish out."
"From that point on the room was a cacophony of grunts, moans, sputters and slaps as the men used all of their muscles to take them over the edge. Rudy wasn't sure when the river of pre-cum, became a geyser of his man-juice, but the resultant orgasm caused him to clamp his anus uncontrollably.
He was rewarded as Al started to shudder, roll back his eyes, and shoot deep in his hot ass. Rudy felt each spasm, and opened his eye in time to see the smile return to Al's eyes.
Al continued to smile as he raised Rudy's thighs one last time, pulled out his dick from Rudy's clamped muscle, then slowly lowered his legs, allowing Rudy to stretch out. Al finally saw Rudy to return the smile, then laugh.
"What are you thinking?" Al asked, as he laid next to Rudy.
"I'm thinking that of all of the vintage Detroit Muscle you own in the garage. The best ride comes from the vintage Duluth Muscle here in your bedroom.

Gordy laid in bed, still in shock from the development of the night. He had worked over a decade with FC, and never saw him as open, or loving as he was with Rolf. Over the years, Gordy had suspected that Frank might be bi, or at least bi-curious. The evidence was there in things said, and unsaid.
He'd break away during police conventions to head to unnamed locations. One time when they went to a Cub's game in Chicago, they parked close to Boys' Town and he noticed Frank's furtive glances as he walked past men on the street. They even ventured into a sex shop for a laugh, but Frank appeared genuinely interested in the toys that lined the walls.
Gordy certainly shouldn't have been shocked any more than he was when he saw his son kiss Bub. He remembered he was shocked, and lashed out immediately, but the more he thought about it, he realized he saw the love and need in his son's eyes.
Tonight, he was shocked when the large, bearded man come around the corner of the house. In Boys' Town, the men looked like they came directly from a gym. But Rolf was a shaved-head bear, with a beard that reached his huge ball gut. The shock was quickly allayed, when he saw the love radiate from each man's eyes.
Never once in his life had Gordy contemplated loving another man. Yet, here he was, welcomed back into the lives of the two most important men in his life, and he couldn't deny the love that each one of them had, for another man.
As Rolf's CPAP machine created rhythmic white noise in the next room, Gordy snuggled into his bed, and fell asleep.
