Galley Slaves
These slaves are selected from the other slaves in the household, as a means of random punishment. Typically slaves will serve in the galley for around a week, or longer at the overseers' discretion.
The purpose of the galley is to provide power for a back-up generator in the Master's living area. Since power failures are extremely rare, the slaves' work in the galley is mainly pointless -- this emphasises the punishment.
Galley slaves work an 18 hour shift, naked and close-shackled into position on basic rowing machines.
The machines in the `galley' are laid out behind glass screens both so that the punishment is on view and also so that slaves can see the luxurious lifestyle which is not available to them.
Galley machines are positioned over open drains (sewers) so that slaves can relieve themselves at any point during their shift -- there are no breaks allowed for this purpose.
Whipping overseers are in attendance at all times to ensure continued hard effort from all slaves.
The 24 hour routine for these slaves is as follows:
18 hours shackled to rowing machines in the galley, with 3 short rotating breaks, , so that a group of slaves is rowing at all times.
Breaks consist of:
1 - break to drink piss either direct from overseers' cock or from the slave drain
2 -- break to feed from dog food or other food scraps which have been thrown into the slave drain by the overseers
3 -- break to be hosed down with cold water, followed by cleaning of the drains and rest areas
After the work shift, slaves are close-chained into rest pens, within the galley area, for 4 hours.
Each shift starts with a recitation of the slave creed and a ritual humiliation session involving slaves worshipping the overseers' whips and begging to be worked and punished hard.
