This is the first story I've ever written, I wrote it over the summer of last year and my writing skills have grown immensely. Although this is my first story I've wrote, I have published other stories on here and am currently working on one. Under the high school section, I have the One or the Other, which is a current project; Hayden's Story; and GAvin's Got Game. Under the college section, I have The After Party. The latter three stories all contain sexual content.

"Happy Birthday!" Everyone shouted as I walked inside my house with Tommy by my side. Today is my 15th birthday and it seems like all my friends are here. Each and every one of them said they had plans and acted as if they didn't know it was my birthday today. But being as smart as I am, I knew I was going to have a party.
"You're finally a big boy now!" Tye said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and escorted me away from Tommy and towards the cake. "Make a wish and blow the candles out now! I need some cake!"
"Well, since you want cake, I think I'll save that for last."
"Ass." He whispered under his breath to keep the adults from hearing. My parents, Blake's parents, and Tommy and Tye's mom were all here to supervise over all of us teens. Everyone I was friends with was here. Even Drew and his girlfriend were here despite the fact him and I haven't talked since Jen's pregnancy.
We all went out to the backyard to find the grill all warmed up for the men to do some grilling. Both adult males decided to help AJ, Blake, and Tyler with the grill. Scared they would burn the house down. It was pretty funny to see them argue about who was the head cook and who his assistants were.
"So Shawn," Molly started to say. "Where's this Tommy fellow. I would love to meet him."
"He's right over there, Molly." I pointed to Tommy. He was sitting with Layla and talking.
She looked at him and realized he looked familiar. She then looked over at the grill to see Tyler. She looked back and forth a few times and I couldn't help but grin. "He's a twin isn't he?"
"He sure is."
"No wonder I was confused at Blake's party! I would see one of them and then later on I would see the other in a completely different outfit! I thought I was going crazy!" She laughed and I laughed with her. "So how do you tell them apart?"
"Tommy has a freckle at the bottom of his neck. Besides that, I can just tell the difference in the way they talk and act. Tommy is more shy and to himself while Tyler is more outgoing and loud."
"Well I'm happy that Mr. Huntington and I helped you realize he's the one for you. By the way, you two make a cute couple." She smiled and patted me on the back. She soon went back to the other moms and joined in on their conversation about the baby years.
Tommy came up to me and hugged me. "What did Blake's mom want?"
"She wanted to know who the lucky guy I'm dating is. So I pointed at Blake." Blake was sitting beside Layla while her and Tommy were talking. He was taking his break from grilling. "She was shocked to find out I'm dating her son."
Tommy kissed me on the cheek. "You better not be dating anyone else but me! I'm fragile." He said. He started to frown and I could see tears forming in his eyes. Damn he's a good actor.
"I would never ever cheat on you babe...unless Taylor Lautner turned out to be gay or something and he was here in this city. Then that would be the only time I would ever cheat! But what's the possibilities of that happening?" I smiled and kissed him.
"Very slim. Now come over here with me and Layla. I want to spend a little bit of time with my boyfriend on his birthday."
"Yeah. It's not like we were at the park for two whole hours doing nothing but talking before we came back here." I smiled and willingly followed him.
"Hey Shawn!" Layla said as I walked up to her. "Happy Birthday! And thanks again for helping Blake and I yet again." I got them to stop fighting and I invited them both over, unaware that the other was coming. Once they were both here and yelling at each other, I finally got them to see they were both at fault and they should just make up and move on. They moved on alright, But the making up was making out.
"No problem. I can't stand it to see friends fight."
"I'm happy that you can't. When Blake and I finally move in together and settle down for real, we're going to have to make sure you live in the guest room or else we'll be at each other's necks all day."
"I don't go anywhere without butthead right here." I was talking about Tommy. "So you better make sure the bed is big enough for two."
She smiled. "I wouldn't want to have it any other way. I mean, both Blake and I are lazy when it comes to house work. So who better than two gay guys stay at our place. You'd be like free maids."
"I'd be the only `free maid' in the place. Shawn is as lazy as Tyler when it comes to cleaning."
"It was 5 in the morning and I was tired! Sorry I left a pile of clothes on the floor!" I stayed at Tommy's place the weekend before. It's different than what I thought it would be. They live in an apartment complex, and it wasn't one of those nice apartment complex either. The paint was chipping off the doors and the window panels, the wooden stairs and decks of the upper level floors were rotted, and the yards were dead. It looked like the ghetto part of the neighbor hood. But there weren't meth labs, people fighting, guns everywhere, prostitutes, and all that other stereotypical stuff. Almost every person I could see was wither white trash or just plain ole trash. Inside their place is way better. Their mom makes it feel home like.
"I know babe. But would it kill you next time to actually pick up the clothes after you change out of them?" He was smiling so I know he was only playing around with me.
"Would it kill you to just be the silent trophy boyfriend?"
"Yes. Yes it would."
Layla put her hands up as if she were superman and we were kryptonite. "Both of you. Shut up. Now. Too much. Gayness. Think I'm. Dying." She then pretended to die.
"Yay! Now it'll be quiet!" I shouted. Layla squinted to see if any of the adults were looking. When they weren't she flipped me off. Tommy and I laughed and she then soon joined us.
After we ate some delicious burgers and chips, the chips were better since all the burgers were burnt do to some arguments about who is `manlier' between the 5 dickheads who were cooking, we went inside so I could open some presents. I grabbed the first one and was about to tear the wrapping paper to shreds when my mom handed me an envelope. She said it was in our mailbox and it was addressed to me. I opened it up and saw it was a card from Avery. Inside was 127 dollars and a note. The note read, "A dollar for every day we were together." I smiled and almost shed a tear. People were asking why I was smiling so I showed everyone the money, not the card.
My mom then handed me a big box. It felt heavy and I was wonder what the hell it was since I was too big for toys now and I couldn't think of anything else it would be. When I ripped off all the wrapping paper, I saw it was just an ordinary cardboard box, so I would have to open it to see what I got. I opened it and saw that it was yet another box. I could also see Tommy and Tyler smiling like idiots over to the side. I opened this box and found, you won't believe it, another box. It went on like this for about ten more damn boxes. At this point everyone except me found this entertaining. I was about to flip if I found another box. When I opened the final box, I saw two things in there. A smaller box, wrapped in wrapping paper, and a stack of books. I first pulled out the books, because I was tired of opening boxes, and saw that it was the Hunger Games series. I read the first one but I got it from and library and I was unable to find the other two. A sticky note was on the front of the first one and it said it was from Tyler. I thanked him and hugged him. He told me that the whole box thing was his idea.
I then reached in and pulled out the little box. I unwrapped the paper carefully and saw that it was a jewelry box. I opened it up and saw a black ring with emerald green tribal design on it. I pulled out the ring and saw there was engraving in it. It read, "I will always love you Shawn Washington" I started to cry and Tommy hugged me. I thanked him over and over again, feeling as if I was unworthy of having him as a boyfriend. Once I stopped blubbering like a baby, Amy took the ring and read what the engraving said. Everyone awed and we continued on with the gift opening.
Overall I was happy with what I got. Most was clothes and money since it's hard to buy things for a teenager without spending hundreds of dollars. Before I could even put my gifts away, Tyler was already lighting the candles on the cake. I decided to be nice this time and say it was time for cake. He hugged me and everyone gathered around as they sang happy birthday and I blew out the candles. We all ate some of this delicious cake, which Tommy, Tye, and Ginger's mom made, and ate some ice cream as well.
Soon it was time for everyone to go. Thankfully Tommy and Tye were allowed to stay the night. Tommy followed me up to my room while Tyler went to Jen's room to be with her before he had to go to bed. Once Tommy and I were alone I kissed him. "Thanks for the ring babe. I'll never take it off unless I'm showering. Otherwise, it'll live on my finger. I don't care if under the ring is pale as fuck."
"Please stop thanking me babe." He said as he wrapped his arms around me. "I should be the one thanking you. If it wasn't for you, I'd still be in the closet and only talking to Tyler. You've completely turned my life around for good."
"But babe your gift was so special! I mean there is no way I'll be able to match it!" His birthday is in July, only two months away."
"Who said I was done giving you gifts?" Tommy said with a sly smile as he leaned over to kiss my neck.
"But what if Tye comes in?"
"Why do you think I told him to stay in Jen's room until we come and get him?" He pulled me over to my bed and we fell down onto it. Our hands both started to explore each other's bodies for the second time.
"I love you Tommy."
"I love you too Shawn."
