This is the first story I've ever written, I wrote it over the summer of last year and my writing skills have grown immensely. Although this is my first story I've wrote, I have published other stories on here and am currently working on one. Under the high school section, I have the One or the Other, which is a current project; Hayden's Story; and GAvin's Got Game. Under the college section, I have The After Party. The latter three stories all contain sexual content.

Tonight was the night of the prom. Amy was at Ginger's and they were preparing. Amy was going to bring Tyler over when they were done so she could wait for her date here. I'm not sure why she was so excited. She was going with a gay guy this time around.
"When's Tyler going to be getting here?" My mom asked.
"Amy texted me and said that they'll be here in a little over 30 minutes. She's doing Ginger's nails right now." I answered. I leaned my head on Noah's shoulder and we sat there and watched TV. Noah was able to come home with me and Jen. Tyler wasn't because his mom wanted to at least see that day since he spent the night last night and wasn't there this morning.
"Okay, okay." My mom said pacing the floor. "I was wanting to start the grill up so we could have a cook out in the back yard. I want you guys to have as much fun as the one's going to prom."
Jen smiled. "Thanks, Mrs. Washington, but I'm pretty sure no matter what we'll have fun tonight."
"Well if I wasn't here you guys would have fun." She winked at us. "I know what it's like to be a teenager. Always wanted to-"
"Mom! Please!" Noah and Jen were laughing.
"What is it honey?"
"The last thing I want to hear is about my mother's sexual desires as a teenager!"
She smiled at me. "I sometimes forget how you kids are. I over hear your conversations about sex with your friends, but when your hip young mom tried to join in it becomes a sin." I blushed when she said she's heard us talk about sex. She smiled and kissed me on the forehead.
When she was gone, Noah kissed me on the cheek. "You know I still love you right? Even though you're mom embarrasses you whenever she's around."
"I know you do." I kissed him on his cheek. "I love you too babe."
Just then Tyler busted in through the door. "Who missed me?" He winked at Jen and she got up, ran, and nearly tackled him.
"Finally! I was about to give up on your sorry ass!" Jen said as she kissed him on the lips."
"You know I wouldn't miss a night with you." He kissed her back and then they just stood there in their own little world until my mom came in and saw Tye was here. She got excited and ran outside to start the grill.
"I thought Amy was bringing you over." Noah asked.
"I got bored and told them I was going on a walk. I just texted my mom and told her I decided to walk here. I think she's a little mad but hey, I have to see my baby." They kissed once more and then the four of us sat down.
Not long after my mom was ready for us to come outside and help her with the grilling. I've never grilled in my life so and neither has Jen so we sat back and like our men take care of the cooking.
I could see in Jen's eyes that she was seriously in love with Tyler. It was the same look I use to give Tommy when we were dating. "You know Tommy loves you right?" Jen said out of nowhere. She wasn't even looking at me. I was the one that was staring at her.
"What do you mean?"
"He likes Jay but he's in love with you. I know that right now you're thinking about the way I'm looking at Tyler. Right now I'm only doing the thing Tommy does when he looks at you. Hell, he even looks like this when he glances at you."
"But Tommy and I are officially over. If he loves me as much as you say he does then he would've said something when Avery and I broke up. Anyways I'm with Noah. Tommy had his chance. I was single but he never said anything. He chose Jay over me."
"You keep making it sound like it's his fault. For four months he was single and nearly begging for you and you never made a move. It would be awkward if he made a move while you were dating Avery."
"Yeah but that's different."
"No it's not, Shawn!" She kinda shouted. Her voice then returned to normal. "If he made a move while you were dating Avery would you have done something?"
I wanted to say no. But deep down I knew I would have in a heartbeat. I nearly did that one time he told me he loved me. "Yeah."
"And why's that?"
"I felt like I had to be with Avery but yet I wanted Tommy so bad."
"And don't you think Tommy feels that way with Jay? He made a promise to Jay and he's scared to break it even though being with you is what he wants."
I just sat there in silence. "Just when I think I do the right thing, you or Tyler or someone else makes me realize I'm failing."
She hugged me. "You're not failing. I can just tell that you're happier with Tommy than anyone else. I can also see that Noah has just grown attached to you and since he's been lonely most of his life, he just wants someone and you've always been there."
I closed my eyes and face palmed. "What am I going to do, Jen? I can't just tell Noah it's over and expect him to be okay with it."
"Well, I do have a friend named AJ. He's bi and leans towards girls but I have seen him checking Noah out. I'll talk to AJ and tell him the plan. He likes the whole clingy thing so Noah should hook onto him soon."
"That won't work. He'll feel like he's cheating and stay away from him."
"Then you're going to have to break up with him, Shawn. The sooner the better. Right now you can still be friends, but in a week or two it'll be too late to even try. Look at Avery. He's barely around now because he thinks it's too awkward."
"You're right, Jen. I just hope that this time I'll be the dumper and not the dumpee. It still feels bad when you're dumped even if you were planning on dumping them first."
She smiled. "I know what you mean. And by the way I decided what I'm going to do with the baby."
"What?" At first Jen was wanting to give the baby up, but soon after she moved in, my mom said that she would be here to help her take care of the baby since she's a stay at home mom. She also threw in the no grandchildren from her biological kids thing up too. Since then Jen has been flipping back and forth. Hopefully this would be that last time.
"I'm going to give it up. I know your mom wants me to keep it but it would be way too hard on me. Just seeing the child would remind me of Cole no matter what. I wouldn't be able to look at them the way a mother should. And I'm young. I want to be able to hang out with you guys and not worry about what baby Ricki or baby Max were doing. I'll always be able to have more."
I smiled. I was hoping she would choose adoption. The main reason is because I couldn't stand the smell of babies and then there would be the all night crying and Tyler staying the night in my room to help take care of the baby and I would have to hear him snore so loud that it would wake the damn baby up down the hall. "I think you're making the right choice, Jen. But remember, the hardest thing is letting go of the baby after you give birth. Don't change your mind at last second."
"I won't, Shawn. I'll tell my doctor next time your mom takes me. But your mom and I need to talk about this too. I want her to know why I'm giving up the baby and will accept my promise for grandkids in the future."
"You know she'll make you sign a contract right?" Both Jen and I laughed. My mom has always stressed adopting babies to Amy and I since we'd never be able to have babies of our own. She really wants grandkids and I know this decision is going to hurt her some but hopefully she'll put Jen's needs first until Jen is done with schooling. Then she can bug her for babies.
~ IMPORTANT ~
There are two chapters that were written by a friend of mine and I will tell you if when the chapter is written by her. Please DO NOT contact me and tell me how different those chapters are from the rest of the story and they are written completely differently. If you do I will most likely insult you. :D
