Saving Noah 1

Author's note: This story is completely fictitious. Any relation to people living or dead is completely unintentional. The setting is also fictional so don't bother trying to find it on a map.

I never knew I could change a person's life. Not just any person, though. I'm talking about someone who I met then became attracted to in the course of our friendship. So this is how the story goes...

It was my senior year of high school when I met Noah Wozniak. I was walking home from a friend's house when I saw this guy carrying a boxful of belongings. He was wearing glasses and he looked like he was crying.

Just then two other guys passed by him and said something to him. I couldn't hear but I could tell they were harsh remarks. I mean look at the guy! He was already upset about something and these two obnoxious morons come up to him and say something more detestable.

What really pissed me off was that they knocked down his box and shoved him to the ground. The contents scattered on the ground. Being known as an all around nice guy, I came up to the two bastards and confronted them. I've never seen them before. I don't think they even reside in this neighborhood.

"What is your problem?" I said to them.

"What's it to you?"

"Well you two were very rude and knocked down his box. So turn around and pick it up before I make you do it with a broken jaw."

They obviously didn't get scared. What kind of approach did I do anyway? Haha. I must've looked so stupid confronting these two strangers. They both looked younger than me. They were shorter also. So if they decided to throw a punch, I'd catch it and break their arm.

One of them tried shoving me out of the way but after long hours in the gym, my chest was somewhat solid and allowed me not to budge. I grabbed the prick's arm and twisted it. He yelped in pain. I pushed him to his partner and they both fell to the floor.

I think I made one of them cry. They didn't fight back. They just ran down the block and disappeared around the corner.

The poor guy was on the ground picking up his belongings. He looked really upset and I could tell he was crying due to his red tear dried eyes. I got down next to him and helped him pick up his belongings.

"Sorry about those two guys. I don't know what their problem was" I said to him. He didn't say anything though. I haven't seen him around as well.

"Are you new here?" I asked him.

"Yeah. My family and I just moved here from Chicago"

"That's cool. My name's Luke" I said to him extending my arm out to him.

"Noah Wozniak"

"Umm...are you ok dude? You look pretty upset"

"No. It's nothing"

Liar. I could tell because his tone was depressed and hurt.

"Did those boys do something to you?"

"I don't want to talk about it"

"Oh alright. Here let me help you with that" I said taking the box from him. It was sort of heavy seeing that most of it contained video games and computer accessories, CD's and a violin. Dude this guy was so mysterious...and then I noticed something. This guy was cute! I found myself attracted to both guys and girls. I had a 50/50 experience as one would say. I'm not completely out. Only to two of my closest friends. Luckily no one had the slightest hunch.

Noah still looked depressed. I insisted that I carry his belongings for him. I think he was going to move or something. I followed him to his house. He lived in one of those Victorian homes. It was a beautiful house (just like the guy who lives there).

One could say that Noah fits the geek profile. But then he had a nice build and if he took off his glasses he could be a stud. He's like Adam Brody from The O.C. on FOX. He's a geek but a cute one. By the way, on our way to his house I was scamming on him. He had a cute butt. =).

He seemed to be more joyful in his house. I had no idea what just happened outside. But whatever it was, I'm sure it got him really upset. When we walked into his room, it was really bare! Holy crap! This guy had everything in this box! Maybe he was going to run away. Noah didn't want to tell me so I decided to let it go.

I helped him put back all the things in his box. I asked him if he was going to run away and guess what he says?!? "Something like that..."

Holy crap. This beautiful creature was going to run away. Why? What made him want to do such a thing?!? This just intrigued me more about him. In other words, I wanted to get into his pants faster. Man he is so cute.

He really was. What intrigued me more was his eyes. I couldn't stop staring at them. They were this nice hazel color. They really stood out if you took off his glasses.

After unpacking I sat down on his bed. Noah took out the violin from the box. Frankly, I wanted to be playing with his other instrument.

"So you play the violin, huh?"

"Yeah. I'm supposed to be practicing right about now"

"Why don't you practice then?"

"I don't know. I just feel uncomfortable playing in front of someone"

"Come on. Just one piece"

"I don't know Luke--

I stood up. Took the violin and pressed it against him. "Come on dude, I'm not a critic.." I gave him my sad puppy dog look which always works.

"Alright. But just one"

He started playing the Explosive violin part by Bond. It was really nice but he lowered his tempo. It was super nice. I think my mouth drooled when I watched him play. He looked so handsome each time he head would bob. This guy was an awesome violinist. He also looked like he had everything he wanted just by looking at his room. >From his Flat Plasma Screen Computer to his Silk covered bed.

After he played he asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I was so thirsty because he was so hott that I got dehydrated. He returned later with two Mango shakes. Wow. Mango shakes.

"Very healthy. Here you go" Noah said handing me a glass. They were very delicious also. Just like the guy who gave it to me. Haha. Now that he seemed like he was in a more jovial mood, I decided to bring back the topic of the two obnoxious boys earlier in the afternoon.

"Luke...please. I don't think I'm ready to tell you that" He said looking hurt.

"But will you tell me someday?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, we are friends now right?"

"Friends..." He said it like some distant word he never heard before.

"Yeah. Amigo? Buddy?"

"Sorry...I haven't had a lot of those in my old school" He said tearfully.

Oh gosh. I felt so sorry for him...how can anyone NOT befriend him. He was so talented and kind AND handsome. I have got to stop scamming on him. =P.

"Well. You have one right now"

"Really?"

"Of course dude!"

"Sorry I really never had any real ones so I wouldn't know" He looked like he was going to cry. I wanted to give him a hug and tell him everything was going to be fine. And that's exactly what I did.

"Hey man, come here" I said wrapping my arms around him. I think he left a few tears on my shoulder. I wanted to see him happy and I'll do whatever it takes to make him happy.

Since I could feel his head near my mouth, I decided to take advantage of the position and I kissed his forehead. Haha. I think it was a cute gesture. Well it was since the guy was cute. =).

"Hey let's go out" I said holding him by the shoulders.

"Huh?"

"I mean...let's go grab a bite to eat. I'm starved." Actually I meant it the other way also. =P.

"Yeah...Ok sure why not? Where do you want to eat?"

Noah decided to take his jeep out. It was a smoke colored Mitsubishi Montero. I had a jeep also but it was a Grand Cherokee. We went downtown to this sushi bar. I loved sushi. Noah didn't eat a lot of sushi so he couldn't give an opinion.

We ordered a random platter. While waiting for our food, Noah and I started to get to know each other better.

He still wouldn't tell me about the two boys so we talked about other things. He was a swimmer in his old school. He's a bookworm who scored a 1460 on his SATs! He plans on going  to Northwestern University in Evanston. I planned on going there myself. What a coincidence. He didn't reveal much about his past but that didn't really bother me. I couldn't stop staring at him though. I hope he didn't notice that I had a crush on him!

Noah loved classical music and read over five hundred books. He was taking six AP classes before moving here and he played tons of video games. Typical geek stuff. But this geek happened to be cute. He also had a sense of style. The only thing that made him stand out were his glasses. They were awfully too big.

He said he was 5'9" which was only three inches shorter from me. He was an indoor person which was practically obvious due to his light complexion. He said he was Polish descent and he's been to Poland twice to visit his grandparents. DUDE! This guy had an interesting life. Why on earth was he going to run away?

Our food finally came.

"Hey Luke is it okay if we leave before six?"

"Yeah sure. But why though?" Did he not like spending time with me?

"Oh...umm...I want to catch an episode of this show"

"Cool. What show?" I said while eating some sushi.

"The O.C." He blushed.

"HOLY FUCK!" Everyone looked at me. I was so loud.

"I know that show must be so sucky that--

"No. No. I love that show! I didn't know they were showing an episode tonight. Can I watch it with you?"

"Oh yeah sure"

YAY! I was going to be spending a part of the night in his house!!

When we got home, no one was there. I was beginning to wonder if he had any parents at all.

"Hey Noah, where are your parents?"

"At work. As usual"

"Oh. Any brothers or sisters?"

"Umm yeah. They are all older than me though. My eldest brother got married and lives in L.A. My sister is in Princeton and my other brother is probably out somewhere."

"Wow. Big family, huh?"

"Yeah..."

It looked like he didn't want to talk about his family so I just let it go. I hope they weren't a factor in his depression.

We watched The Goodbye Girl episode. It was a pretty good episode. There was something about The O.C. that just got me hooked. I wonder what got Noah so hooked about it.

We were both lying down on his bed. It was getting cold so I went under the covers. To tell you the truth I was paying more attention to Noah than to the show. After the episode I decided to make a move. I couldn't stand keeping it to myself.

Noah was staring at me. I stared back.

"Can I tell you something?" I asked

"Yeah sure"

"Don't freak out or anything but I think I've developed a strange attraction to you"

Noah was speechless.

"I'm sorry. I just had to get that out of my chest"

He still didn't say anything. I think I really freaked him out. I was freaked out myself by my confidence. What gave me so much courage to say that to him. Usually I'd get weak I the presence of a cute guy. But Noah was handsome not cute. =P.

I started for the door when I felt his hand grab mine. I turned to face him and we just stared at each other. Surprisingly he made the first move.

I felt his lips touch mine and his hands roam my back. He was feeling me up! I grabbed the back of his head and stuck my tongue inside his mouth. He started massaging it with his own tongue. This guy knew how to kiss!

I slammed him against his door and started nibbling on his ear and then his neck. His hands explored my ass and he gave it a squeeze. He locked his door and pushed me down to his bed. This guy was so animalistic!

He rubbed his crotch against mine. I moaned in between kisses. I could tell he wanted to do something with me. At this point I couldn't go back. He lifted my shirt and started kissing my tummy. Just as I was about to take it off for him, we were rudely interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Noah, are you there?"

"Oh shit. My brother's home!" He said getting off me. I quickly stood up and fixed myself. Noah got up and opened the door.

I was blown away. His brother was super hott. I think I started sweating upon eye contact. I'm for real! He could have come of the Abercrombie & Fitch catalog.

He was about 6'2". Nice hazel eyes and jet black hair. He had a nice body form as well. This is going to sound weird but he had a nice jaw. Haha.

"Luke this is my brother Eric. He goes to Northwestern."

"That's awesome" I said extending out my hand for him to shake it.

"I didn't know you had company..." Eric said as if he was surprised.

"Yeah we met earlier today"

"Where at?" Eric asked.

"Outside" I said.

"What were you doing outside Noah?" Eric asked.

"Nothing. Can we talk about this later? I have to drop Luke home" Noah said grabbing his car keys.

"Oh I see. Well Luke, it's nice to see my brother finally socializing with someone" He said as he gave out a smile.

"Yeah. Nice to meet you too...I guess"

Noah dropped me to my house which was only a few blocks away. Frankly, I could have walked but I guess catching a ride isn't as bad. We parked a few houses away so we could make out for a while. I couldn't keep my hands off him. I kissed him wildly. I thought we were going to have sex right then and there!

"Luke...can I tell you something?"

"Yeah sure" I said in between kisses.

"Please don't break my heart"

I stopped kissing him. "Why would I do that?"

"I don't know...I don't trust a lot of people now...but I trust you"

"You can count on me for it. I swear" I kissed him hard again. "I think I better go now" I said kissing him one last time.

"When can I see you again?" he asked.

"I'm working tomorrow. How about around 4 p.m.? Pick me up from work."

"Where do you work?"

I handed him a card of the clinic I worked at.

"Wow. You must get paid a lot"

"A generous amount I'd say. So I'm going to spoil you tomorrow"

"Luke you don't have to do that"

I kissed him again. "I don't take `no' for an answer"

"Alright then" he smiled this time. He looked really good when he smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow, prince" he said as I got out. Before I could inquire about being a prince he drove off.

This guy was soo mysterious.
