Prince of the Parsonage, Chapter 2
Dashawn invited his brother to sit with Daniel and him in the service, hoping that it would make them look more like a trio of friends and take the spotlight away from Daniel and him. The brothers made sure to introduce Daniel to other teenagers who sat near them in the balcony where the younger members of the congregation hung out. Daniel appreciated it.
As they were singing the first hymn, Dashawn became aware that Daniel had a great bass voice and could evidently read music. He made a mental note to see if his new friend would join him in the choir when it started up again in the fall.
Today, there was a trio of ladies who provided special music. It might be possible for the guys to sing something later in the summer if the schedule wasn't already filled. He would speak with the choir director, Mr. Flemming, about it. If Dontrell and another guy who sang tenor joined them, they might do something appropriate for a men's quartet.
Daniel and Dashawn were sad to go their separate ways after church, but Daniel had to work during the lunch-time rush. In fact, his mother needed to drive him to his job almost immediately.
Lenore Williams usually didn't have the desire to prepare Sunday dinner after the stress of delivering her sermon. So, the family was content to eat out when possible. This Sunday, Dashawn's family went to their favorite eatery, which was operated by Beto and his husband, Geoff.
Wearing a big smile, Rick came bearing menus and a tray with glasses of ice water.
"Hey everyone, good to see you. Today's special is any Mexican full dinner at lunchtime prices plus a bowl of guacamole with each two orders."
"Cool!" Dashawn exclaimed. "I'm having beef fajitas."
"Me to, Dontrell chimed in.
"I'm having chicken for my meat," Lenore said.
"Make that a double," Walter added.
Before their appetizer arrived, Dashawn got up from the table, supposedly to go to the bathroom. His real mission was to have a word with Rick.
"Hey, my man, I've got great news. I've found someone!"
"Is it that gorgeous African dude with the crazy shirts I've seen you with on campus?"
"The same!"
"Congratulations! He's handsome. Is he as hung as he looks? Oops, I guess that's none of my business."
"Yeah, he is," Dashawn blushed.
"Way to go!" Rick high-fived him.
As they were enjoying their chips and guacamole, Lenore got a mischievous look on her face. Dashawn knew someone was in for some teasing and he feared he might be the target.
"So, Dashawn, my little inkosana, are your father and I the last to get the news?"
"What?" Dashawn frowned.
"That I was wrong, and you were right, and you have a new boyfriend."
Dashawn looked pointedly at his brother.
"What've you been saying?"
"Nothing! My lips are sealed."
"Don't blame Dontrell for broadcasting it. Perhaps not everyone can read your body-language, but I'm your mother. Daniel and you conducted yourselves well. Still, I could see how you looked adoringly into one another's eyes. It's obviously not one-sided."
"He's awesome! We like all the same things, and he can sing!"
"Having things in common goes a long way toward maintaining a good relationship," Walter agreed. "But I suspect he has other attributes that you find appealing as well."
Dashawn's grin grew larger by the minute. His parents knew about his attraction and seemed to be fine with it. When his meal arrived, he did justice to it.
After Daniel got home from his job, he was in for a similar conversation. As he extolled the virtues of his new friend, his parents could tell by his whole demeanor that he had a serious crush on the boy. Fortunately, they were supportive too.
Catheryn advised him not to work too many hours lest his job interfere with his schooling and with things the guys might like to do together.
"Remember, we're not poor refuges. The income from our phosphate mine as well as from our family farm should be more than enough to keep us."
"But, what if the leaders of Togo decide to nationalize the mining operation? You know government has been unstable in recent years."
"Your father and I have good jobs here which would more than keep us afloat even if we lost the mine and our share of the income from the crops our family there raises. You need to enjoy being a teenager."
"Okay, but I don't know how Dashawn will feel if he knows how rich we are. It's likely to show when your new car finally gets delivered and I get yours."
"If he cares for you, he won't let money come between you. He comes from a family with good values."
The following week at school, the two guys were inseparable. They rode to campus together in Dashawn's car, lunched with each other and studied side by side every chance they got. They made out some but didn't repeat what they'd done on Saturday night.
Toward the end of the week, Daniel invited Dashawn to sleep over at his house.
Dashawn was excited and a bit nervous. He had met Daniel's mother, Catheryn and she'd been affable; however, he hadn't met his father, Samuel and hoped that would go well.
His anxiety was for naught. He received a welcome from Samuel which made him feel like he was part of the family. It made him happy that Daniel's parents knew that they were becoming boyfriends and seemed to be okay with the idea.
When it came time to retire for the night, Daniel showed him to the room he'd be sleeping in.
"Wow! This is a big bed. I thought you said you had a twin in your room."
"There's a pull-out one under my twin. I thought you'd be more comfortable in here."
"Um, I'd be happier sleeping with you in your room."
"What makes you think you're sleeping alone? I told them we'd be sharing this one. Would you like to take a shower with me before we go to bed?"
"For sure!"
Fooling around in the shower nearly tripped their triggers. However, they wanted to save that for later; so, despite the temptation, they held back. Once in the bedroom, they dropped their towels and tumbled onto the bed.
"I'd like to take that big black cock in my mouth, unless it would upset you," Dashawn said, his voice thick with lust.
"That would be excellent! I want to do the same with yours."
"Do you know the meaning of soixande-neuf?
"Yes! As you know, French is the official language of my homeland and I know what it means when two people do it!"
It didn't take a minute before the boys were lying face to dick, studying each other's steely erection and playing with the foreskin. Intimate touching stimulated their Cowper's glands, producing a sticky flow of precum. The more they licked it up, the more their bodies produced.
Having abstained from sex for the whole week, the guys were headed for orgasms before they wanted their ecstatic feelings to end. With grunts and gasps, they plunged into freefall together. This time, there wasn't any danger of having jizz drip on the floor since they consumed all of it.
In the exhilaration which followed their climaxes, they cuddled and fantasized about their future.
"I hope when we've known each other long enough that you'll still want to marry me," Daniel said.
"I don't think I'll change," Dashawn smiled. "I'm totally into you."
"Speaking of being into me, are you going to want to be a top or a bottom?" Daniel wondered. "See, I'm learning new sex terms thanks to the Internet!"
"I can probably learn to enjoy both. But honestly, I think maybe I'm a side."
"I have learned a lot online," Daniel frowned, "but I don't know that term. Explain, please."
"I read about it on the `net recently. The article said that the dating app, Grindr, is thinking about adding it as a third option when guys describe what they like to do. Basically, side refers to about any sex experience two men can have that doesn't involve anal penetration. You know, like what we just did and the frottage we did the first time we messed around. It could also involve mutual masturbation or one of us wanking the other."
"Those are all pleasurable and they wouldn't give us pain in the bum!" Daniel exclaimed. "Perhaps I am a side too."
"We would probably like to do the anal thing sometime, but it's not necessary as a regular form of making love, as far as I'm concerned. Would you be good with that?" Dashawn asked.
"Definitely! I love whatever pleasure we can give to one another."
"When the time comes, what kind of ceremony would you want?" Dashawn inquired.
"I would like a small service with a real minister instead of a judge. Do you think your mother would marry us?"
"She will do gay weddings, but I'm not sure I'd be comfortable having her as our minister. She won't perform the service for people unless they go through premarital counseling. That involves taking some tests to see if we'd be compatible. There might be questions which would involve answers that I'd rather not share with her. I mean, what if they asked how often I'd want sex. Um, I'd die if I had to talk about stuff like that with my mother! Other than that, it would be cool to have her officiate."
As summer progressed, so did the attachment between the two young men. Daniel had been concerned that Dashawn might be put off if he discovered how wealthy the Moussa family was. He figured it would become more obvious when his mother's new car became available, and he was given her late-model Beemer.
Dashawn WAS surprised as he began to realize that despite Daniel's frugal ways, the family was evidently rolling in dough, but as Catheryn had predicted, it didn't change his feelings about his boyfriend. It made him love Daniel all the more, knowing that he could probably have about any eligible gay boy he wanted, and had chosen Dashawn to be his special guy.
Both young men had been accepted at Florida Atlantic University but had originally thought they might take courses at the junior college level for a full two years. However, seeing how easy their summer classes had been, they felt ready to take on the kind of challenge a four-year college presented. They also thought it would be cool to live in a dorm with their peers and get the full college experience.
Located in Boca Raton, only about 25 miles from West Palm Beach, it would be only a short drive home if they needed anything.
Thus, they contacted the school to see if they could still enroll for fall term. The dean of undergraduate studies was quite pleased that they wanted to start in the fall and live on campus. Like a number of other institutions of higher education, the university had been hit with declining enrollment, partially due to the Covid pandemic. He assured them that they would be able to room together. That was the deciding factor for them.
Dashawn had only one regret about not continuing at the junior college and that was because some of his high school friends, including Rick and Bryant, would still be there. However, there was the benefit of living on campus with his boyfriend which was more important. This would help them discover if they were compatible enough to settle down with one another. Love trumps friendships, and Dashawn was in love.
Both sets of parents were a bit concerned that their sons might neglect their schoolwork because of their mutual physical attraction. However, all four of them took the attitude that what will be, will be. So, they sent the boys off without the admonitions some families might have made.
Dashawn brought the dorm fridge he'd "inherited" from his cousin George who had graduated from college in the spring. Daniel bought a small microwave to sit atop it. They purchased matching comforters, curtains, and a fluffy area rug to make their accommodations more homelike.
The sleeping arrangements in the dorm weren't exactly what the boys would have wanted. There were twin captain's beds which had six drawers below them and bookcase headboards. With no additional dressers in the room, there was quite a bit of floorspace since the sides without drawers were pushed up against the wall. That was good, but they'd have preferred having a queen-sized bed they could share. Obviously, that wasn't an option. They would have to make the best of it.
George came to their rescue by offering his futon for them to use. There was enough space for it without making the room look crowded. They would end up sleeping on it when they wanted "together time." It was like having a small apartment of their own.
Despite the initial parental concerns, the two young men both received benefits from rooming together. Because he was a go-getter and a very serious student, Daniel proved to be a good influence on Dashawn. Dashawn was smart, but he had tended to coast some in high school where the competition wasn't as stiff. Daniel kept him grounded and on task.
Dashawn was also good for his boyfriend. He helped greatly in explaining words which Daniel wasn't familiar with. Being in several core courses together meant that they would continue to study together like they had in the summer. Both profited.
Their midterm grades were all A's and B's. It was, in fact, the highest average Dashawn had ever had. He was especially proud since the competition was also greater than he'd faced in the past.
By the end of their first semester, they'd raised their grades a bit more. Their parents were pleased. It seemed that the relationship hadn't been detrimental in any way.

There was an error in last week's posting on page 5, a little more than halfway down. It read: "Catheryn made an excuse about having to go over her sermon one more time and making an early night of it." It should have read "Lenore made an excuse...." Wrong mother! Sorry about that.
