I don't know the Backstreet Boys, or N'Sync, nor is this story meant to imply anything about their sexuality, their private lives or their life choices. Please don't take any of this seriously, it is just a story, nothing more. Nothing in this story is real, it is the product of the author's imagination. That's enough disclaimers I think...

Now some suggestions, seeing as everyone else seems to be doing it. My favourite stories are: Forever (Kevin) My New Life (Lance) JC's Hitchhiker (JC) Get Another Boyfriend (Kevin) Whiplash (Kevin) Blind Date (Lance) My Surprise Romance (Lance) Josh and Just (Duh!) Lottery Winner (Joey) Jamie's Romance (Justin) Brian and Me (Brian) Kevin and Dustin (Kevin) <- I just read this one, and I can't wait till the next instalment, I can't wait to see what happens! Justin's Dancer (Justin, sort of!) Tales of a Real Dark Knight (Lance) Good Life (Justin) Under Management (Lance) Brian and Chance (Brian) Tales of A Real Dark Knight (Lance ((well, I hope so, soon!))) Blind Revolution (Justin) Thieves (Lance) That's it, I know there are more I read that I haven't mentioned, but I can't remember them right now, sorry! And, I think I'm gonna have to take some of these out my list - it's getting way too long!!! Here is part one of Season Two - I hope everyone enjoys it, and I hope that I get lots of emails - come on people! My email is at the top of the page! Give me a shout out if you liked it or hated it...now here's is part one!

On The Streets - Season Two - Part One

Kevin's Point of View<<<

I'm not going to lie and say that this past month and a half without Jared has been all that hard. It's been six weeks, but I saw Jared every two weeks, for at least a couple of days. And it has been a lot of fun. Moving across the country in the bus, or by plane when there was a long journey, staying in hotels, it's fun. What makes it all the better though is knowing I have someone who loves me, waiting for me back in Orlando. Jared makes all this worthwhile. He's always there when I call, and I try to always be available when he calls too, though I think he understands that duty calls a lot of the time. He came when we were in Las Vegas, and we had an amazing time in the casinos. I don't think Jared really liked the place that much - I think it was basically the symbol of everything he dislikes about America - the excessiveness, and I think it got on his nerves eventually, but he and I had a lot of fun, even though we came out worse off than when we went in.

The second time he came to visit us, we were in Chicago, we had a lot of fun there too, though we spent most of the time shopping and talking. The tour's almost at an end now though, and we're in Boston. After Boston, we get six weeks off and then a full blown tour with the new album, and a couple of extra songs that Nick wrote, and one that Brian wrote with a friend of his. But right now, we were stuck in a hotel in Boston, awaiting our manager to come and tell us that it was time for the signing. A knock came at the door.

"Guys! It's time for you to get down to the limo." Rick stuck his head in the door. The same guy we had as a manager for the European tour was working for us again. He was in his mid-30s, with short, dark blond hair, and he was kinda rugged looking, not too bad at all. But he was married, he even had his wife along with him. We all got up and went downstairs to the limo, but Rick held me back in the lobby. "Kev, I need to talk to you after the signing, it's about the finishing dates for this tour." Then he walked on and out the main entrance. But it's Friday today, we were supposed to finish now! This was supposed to be our last date! I walked out to the limo, and got in, flashing looks at Rick, who was avoiding my gaze. Within ten minutes we were at the signing, having taken most of the ride in silence.

An hour and a bit later, we were done, and were getting back into the limo. The album was selling, fast. It hadn't beaten any records, but the executives and sales people couldn't understand why the initial frenzy over it wasn't dying down - sales hadn't dropped since the second week, they were steady, and they were high. It was doing great. Back in the limo, I turned to Rick, who by accident had been looking in my direction. "So Rick, it's after the signing - what did you want to tell me about the final date for this tour - that's today right?"

"Perhaps we should talk about this once we get back ok?" Rick said in a desperate tone.

"No, I think we should talk about this now. What did you want to talk about?" I asked again. I had a funny feeling that I knew what this was going to be about.

"Fine, management wants you to stay in Boston until Monday - get a few more signings in, and maybe do a small performance tomorrow, ok?" Rick said, then he cringed, and cowered into the corner of the seat a bit more.

"What? But we've had the tour schedule finalised for months! When did this change come through?" Brian asked. "We were supposed to be going back tonight!" It was Friday 11th April, the final date of the tour. We found out later that the tour was to be extended a further three days, over the weekend and onto Monday evening. I wondered what Jared was up to, maybe he could come up this weekend.

Jared's Point of View<<<

Kevin has literally poured attention onto me since he left on tour. He phones everyday, at least once, he sends gifts, things particular to the places he visits whenever he gets a chance, he even sent me a video of their 'candid shots' or whatever that things called - it was mostly the guys doing signings and things, but occasionally something funny would happen, like when they were in Seattle and there was a gay pride parade going on at the same time - apparently when they found out Kevin was in town, they simply had to drop by to see him! I think a lot of men are expecting him to start waving a rainbow flag at some point, but it's not gonna happen. I just don't see Kevin doing that, and after John, my last boyfriend, lost his life because of some stupid anti-gay bigots, I think he'd understand my reservations if he said he would do it.

I'd been working a lot, getting the employees of Jive in shape. I was a little worried about the guys' health - in the video Kevin sent, I saw them eating Pizza, McDonalds, and Tacos at least twice each. Janet Dakes was doing amazingly. She'd lost a couple of stone in the past two months, and she looked great. She told me how she'd been fitted for her wedding dress, but she was worried they would have to take it in again before the big day. She seemed happy with her new figure, and her husband was due back on the 16th - next Wednesday, and their wedding was to be on Saturday. She had actually arranged most of it, they would get married, and then spend almost two months on a honeymoon - she was practically taking a leave of absence for their honeymoon. I was invited to their wedding. I was supposed to bring a guest, so I hoped Kevin was free that day.

I got a phone call from Kevin Friday afternoon. I couldn't wait - he was coming home that evening, and I was dying to see him again, it had been two weeks.

"Hello?" I answered the phone.

"Hi...Jared?" Kevin replied.

"Hi Kev, how are you?"

"Ok, but Jared, there's something I need to tell you." He sounded a little upset, I was getting worried.

"Jared, the tour's been extended for three days. They want us to stay up here till Monday." I sort of fell back into the kitchen chair. I wasn't upset, as in crying upset - I wasn't about to start bawling or anything, but it did come as kind of a shock, and I was looking forward to seeing Kevin again.

"Oh. Ummm...ok." What else was I supposed to say? "So, you'll be down on Monday right?" I asked. The phone was quiet at the other end. I could hear mumbling from Kevin, and then someone else.

"Jared, are you still there?"

"Yeah I'm here."

"Jared, are you busy this weekend?" Hmmm...Grocery shopping, return some DVD's I rented.

"No. Why?"

"Well, you could come up - you've been coming up every two weeks, and I'm sure we could come down together on Monday, could you rearrange your Monday morning appointments?" Kevin asked.

"That would be great! I'd love to!" I said with glee. Boston... cool. So far, I'd seen Orlando, Lexington, bits of Atlanta, Las Vegas, Chicago and now Boston, this was so cool. I loved travelling, and I'd always wanted to see America. I guess now I was. "Should I phone the airlines?"

"No. I'll phone them, you just get some stuff packed, and get to the airport. I'll phone you, and tell you what gate and stuff, and where to get your ticket from." Kevin replied.

"Sure. I love you Kevin."

"I love you too. Now go!" Kevin said with a smile in his voice.

"Bye." I waited for his reply, then hung up and ran up the stairs, got a holdall, and shoved some clothes in. I made sure to pick up some smart clothes, and put them in a suit carrier, just in case - in Chicago, Kevin wanted to go to a function, and I didn't have anything to wear, so we had to go shopping. I didn't want to have to waste time doing that again. I ran back down the stairs, having packed my stuff, and checked I had everything and everything was done. "Let's see...suitcase, keys, ticket - no I pick that up at the airport...right, all done!" And with that, I ran out the door.

At the airport, there were a lot of people, it was Friday evening, so I guessed a lot of people were trying to get somewhere for the weekend. About ten minutes after I arrived, Kevin called on my cell.

"Jared? The gate is gate 14, and you need to pick up your ticket from..." He reeled off some details, and after saying goodbye we both hung up. I ran to the gate after grabbing my ticket. My plane was leaving very soon, I was only just going to make it.

"Ticket please sir?" The woman asked as I approached the gate. "You've only just made it, we were about to shut the door. Thank you, and enjoy your flight." I walked down the gangway and boarded the plane, stowing my carry-on in the overhead compartment. Sitting down, I was accompanied after thirty seconds by an elderly woman who had been 'relieving herself' as she told me, apparently with much glee. She settled into reading some woman's magazine, and I just settled back to sleep...a few hours, and I'd be with Kevin.

I woke up after maybe an hour or so, and the woman was still next to me, reading her magazine. I had to piss. When I returned, the pilot came over the intercom and told us we had about three hours left. That's gotta be one of the big problems with America - everything's too big and spread out! I fell back asleep.

I woke up as we were landing, and put my seat up. Once we touched down, I jumped up and grabbed my carry-on, and helped the elderly woman get hers down, and then I headed off the plane. I walked up the gangway, and was about to pull my phone out to call Kevin, when I heard someone call my name.

"Jared!" I turned, and looked in the direction of the voice. It was Kevin. He wasn't disguised at all, even though for the past few times we'd been together he'd always been heavily disguised, with hats, or glasses, or strange clothes. He was wearing a black suit, white shirt with the top two buttons undone, and black loafers. He looked like the proverbial 'lounge lizard'. It was just after midnight, and I was guessing he'd come from some club or somewhere with the guys. We came together with a hug, and when we kissed, I could taste the wine on his breath. "How was the flight?" He asked.

"It was ok. I slept for most of it."

"Good. Shall we get back to the hotel?" He said it as more of a statement than a question. Fortunately, I didn't feel like arguing. He sort of leant on me, which suggested he'd had even more to drink that I suspected. I noticed a bodyguard standing about six feet behind him, and he followed us out to the waiting limo. He climbed in the front after holding the door for us to get in, and we drove off. Kevin was starting to doze against the door.

"Kevin? Is something wrong?" I asked, not expecting him to have picked me up drunk.

"Huh? Oh, no, everything's fine." He said with his disarming grin. I just nodded, and sat back in the opposite corner of the cab. I started to fall asleep again, but we were at the hotel before I fell asleep really. Kevin was fast asleep. I half carried, half helped him out of the limo. It was raining, and by the time we took the few steps from the limo to the hotel door, we were both soaking. I helped him to the elevator, and we headed up to his room. He was asleep again before he hit the bed.

"Good morning." Kevin came into the small suite kitchen, where I was sitting at the table drinking a cup of coffee. He kissed me on the cheek.

"Good morning." I answered, then picked up the newspaper that was lying on the table in front of me. Kevin filled up a cup for himself, and sat opposite me. I didn't look up.

"Is something wrong?" Kevin asked.

"I was going to ask you the same question, in fact, I think I did last night." I answered.

"Oh, you mean about me having drunk a bit too much."

"A bit?"

"Ok, a lot too much!" Kevin said frustratedly. "I met some old friends, ok? They really wanted to go out, so I agreed, as long as I was back to pick you up from the airport in time. I didn't mean to drink so much, I'm sorry." I reached out and took his hand.

"It's ok, I guess I was just expecting a sober greeting from my boyfriend." I said with a grin, trying to soften my words.

"Thanks Jared." Kevin said sombrely. Kevin and I both stood up, and we hugged and kissed a bit. "We're supposed to be doing some publicity thing today, but I think you might like doing it with us. Would you like to see the Freedom Trail?" Kevin asked.

"Huh?" I asked, not knowing what he was talking about.

"They're going to film us doing the freedom trail, you know, sometimes fans like to see what we do in our spare time. It was actually a competition, and some fans won tickets to walk the Freedom Trail with us."

"No, I meant what's the Freedom trail?"

"Oh, well, it's kind of a walk, around Boston, to loads of historical sites."

"Hmm, ok." I shrugged my shoulders, and we both went to get dressed.

We met up with the guys downstairs about three-quarters of an hour later. Kevin and I had shared a shower, and in doing so had made ourselves slightly late. "See, I told you guys he was here!" Nick said to Leo, Howie, AJ and Brian. He was obviously referring to me.

"What are you talking about Nick?" Kevin asked him.

"Well, we couldn't believe that you were late, and we guessed it had to be because there were two of you in the shower instead of one!" Nick said with a grin.

"Oh, ha ha." Kevin retaliated. "We'd better get going, where do we have to meet these contest winners?"

"Did Jared scramble your brains or something?" Brian asked. I have to admit I was a bit shocked, Kevin was never one for forgetting details. "We're meeting them here." Just then, flashes from a camera started going off, and some people walked into the lobby, I was guessing they were the people who had won, and the sponsors of the competition. Laura started whimpering, so Leo retreated with her. I also left Kevin's side, and stood with Leo while they sorted out the details.

"So how have the last two weeks been?" I asked him.

"Quite good, though I'm starting to reconsider going on the tour itself. I think Laura needs something more permanent, I don't want her to be moving around the country constantly. You're going on the tour with the guys aren't you?" He was referring to the tour itself, in six weeks' time. I nodded. "I might just do what you did with this tour, and just come along for a couple of days every two weeks. I want Laura to get used to Nick's place as home."

"You know it's not Nick's place anymore right?" I looked at him. "It's Nick's and your place. As far as he's concerned, you live there." Leo nodded, then the guys started off, and we heard them calling to us, so we started with them. "Would you like me to carry Laura for a while?" I asked him, not sure if he was tired.

"I'll be ok." Then I realised that the baby carrier he had converted into one of those Indian-style pouches that hooked over your shoulders so that you could carry the baby on your front. He went up and joined the guys, not standing next to anyone in particular, so as not to look suspicious. I stood next to Kevin. We were escorted outside into a kind of open-top golf cart, though very long, and we were all taken, I think there were about 12 people, including the guys, Leo and me, and the contest winners. We soon arrived at what looked like a large park. We all got out, and walked up to a woman who looked like a typical tour guide.

"Ladies and Gentlemen." Her eyes flashed from one of us to the next. "You are about to experience American history." She smiled at all of us and began. "You are now standing in Boston Common." She had an accent, very typically New England. "This is the oldest public park in the United States. The land was purchased in 1634 as a militia training field, and for the feeding of cattle. During the battle of Bunker Hill, the British left for Charlestown from this very common." We walked a bit further across the park. "On the opposite side of the park, you can see the New State House. Designed by Charles Bulfinch, it was built in 1795 on land originally owned by the Hancock family. Located opposite the state house it the Robert Gould Shaw and 54th Regiment memorial." I looked down just then, and noticed the red line on the sidewalk, and that we had followed it. The tour was completely marked out. "Let's continue." We walked further. Kevin had his arm around my waist.

Kevin's Point of View<<<

Ok, I yawned, history was never my favourite subject at school. I was leaning on Jared with my arm around his waist to support me. He seemed to be really interested in whatever the woman was talking about, but I was just strolling along, trying not to fall asleep on Jared's shoulder. After two graveyards (yay! really exciting), there was a church, there was a statue of Ben Franklin, that was pretty cool, there was an old shop, an old building, an old building, I was starting to see a pattern here, and I was getting bored! Just then I saw a restaurant. It was around lunchtime, maybe a bit early.

"Jared." I whispered in his ear.

"Yeah." He whispered back without turning around.

"There's a restaurant over there, why don't we ditch this group and go grab a bite to eat?" He turned to look at me with a frown. The woman had stopped talking, and we were starting off to the next 'place of interest'.

"I'd rather listen to this actually, it's quite interesting. And also, didn't these people win the chance to do this trip with you? Shouldn't you be walking around with them? Wasn't that the whole point of the competition?" He asked me. I sighed, and nodded my head. We caught up with the rest of the group, and I tried listening intently again...

"This is Faneuil Hall, donated to the city in 1742 by Peter Faneuil, the lower floor has always been a market. The second floor is a meeting hall, and has been dubbed the 'Cradle of Liberty' because of the protests voiced against the British there." We walked around a bit, I was paying attention, she pointed out this and that, and finally we were done with 'Faneuil Hall'.

"This house once belonged to Paul Revere..." Oh my God, my head was killing me, I was so bored, I didn't know what to do. History has to be the most boring subject in the world. Don't get me wrong, I love America and all, but a lot of this stuff was just, well, boring. Old house here, old house there, statue, statue, statue, circle of cobblestones... I don't care! I was starting to wish that Jared had agreed to come to that restaurant with me.

Another church, another graveyard, a ship yard, with a big old warship in it. I was having trouble keeping my eyes open at this point, and I think Jared was starting to realise why I had my arm on his waist so much. He carried on nudging me every time my eyes started drifting shut - I was out late last night ok? "This is the final site in our tour - the Bunker Hill Monument." The woman started again. "The obelisk commemorates the first major battle of the revolution fought here on June 17, 1775. As I am now leaving you, I would like to suggest that you go to the top of the monument, an excellent view of the city is available from the top. However, I warn you..." She started with a smile. "There are 294 steps - and no elevators." She left us at that point, the little teenybopper fans had a chance to ask us any questions if they wanted, though none came up to Jared and me at first. After about ten minutes of them constantly asking questions of the other four, a couple of the older ones came up to me.

"Are you and Jared getting married?" The first one asked, she was probably about 18, with short dark hair.

"Huh?" I hadn't actually been listening, I was hoping if I ignored them they'd just go away.

"Jared's got an engagement ring on, I wondered if you guys were getting married?"

"Oh, um yeah, yeah we are." I said with a smile.

"Have you set a date yet?" She asked hopefully. I looked at Jared.

"No, no we haven't." I said, shaking my head. "I guess we're just gonna do it when we both feel ready." I smiled at her. She nodded, and went back to AJ, who she had been talking to before. Another girl, probably about 12 years old was just staring at us from about 5 or 6 feet away. After a couple of minutes of that, I just opened my eyes, as I'd been leaning my head on Jared's shoulder with my eyes closed, and looked back at her. "Can I help you?" I asked her.

"N...no." She said with a stutter. She carried on staring at us.

"Then why are you staring at us?" I asked pitifully, I was getting so bored.

"Cos you look funny." She answered.

"What?" I asked, not quite believing she'd just said that.

"You look funny, two men, cuddling one another." I did have my arms around Jared's waist. I just let out a sigh, and went back to ignoring her, I didn't really have a response for 'you look funny'. She walked away a moment later.

"Do you want to go up in the monument?" Jared asked. I shrugged my shoulders, at least it was a way to get away from here, and I didn't doubt that the guys would be here for quite a while. I signalled to Brian that we were going up, and he nodded as he leant down again to sign whatever it was one of the girls had passed to him.

"Damn, that was boring." I said as we walked up the stairs.

"What? The Tour or the Signing outside?"

"Both." I answered.

"I didn't mind the tour so much..." Jared just trailed off. "Race you to the top!" He said in a joking voice, and suddenly I was wide awake again, so I'm competitive - so what?

"You cheater!" I shouted as he started running up the stairs. He was faster than me anyway - I should've been the one to get the head start! We both sprinted all the way up the steps, and came out onto the balcony overlooking the city.

"Wow, it is an impressive view isn't it?" Jared said, out of breath, with his hands locked behind his head.

"Yeah. Wow." I said, then just sort of collapsed onto Jared, my arms wrapped around him. "Thanks for coming up Jared."

"Huh? But I asked you to come up." Jared said with a confused frown.

"No, I meant to Boston." A look of understanding came over his face.

"You haven't been having such a bad time have you?" He said with a frown again.

"No, I mean it hasn't been all bad, and it certainly hasn't been as bad as the last tour before I met you, but it still gets boring sometimes. Even if I only get to see you for a couple of days every two weeks, it's still something." I kissed him again. We both sat back and looked out over the city, holding hands.

A few minutes later, the other guys came up. The contest winners had all been picked up.

*** Later That Night ***

"You know I've been relying on cold showers all week." Jared said, as we were getting undressed for bed.

"Huh?"

"I've been horny as hell. Don't suppose you're up for it tonight are you?" I looked at him wide-eyed - I don't think I'd ever heard Jared speak so frankly, so bluntly.

"Uh sure!" I grinned at him, and jumped onto the bed. "How d'you wanna do it?"

"Hmmm, let me think... On your back." I flipped over, and he smiled devilishly. He picked up some lube from the nightstand, and walked over to me...

A few minutes later, Jared's cock was inside me, I was lying mostly on my left hand side, and he had both of his arms wrapped around one of my legs, and he was holding me up by it. He was pistoning into me, and this position had been painful at first, but I was getting used to it - and enjoying it! He carried on pistoning...

Twenty minutes later, Jared had me in doggy-style - I reached over to my bedpost, and took my cowboy hat which I always hung there, so that it kept it's shape, and handed it to Jared behind me.

"Hmmm...I like it..." He muttered, as he took it and put it on. I looked back, and saw him slipping the hat on over his - now blond again - hair, I took an admiring glance at his bicep as he flexed it as he put the hat on, then just enjoyed the fucking again. Jared had one hand on my shoulder and one on my hip. He reached around with his left arm and grabbed a hold of my right pec. He lifted me so that my body was up against his, and carried on pounding into me...

Half an hour later, Jared was on top of me, the cowboy hat was pushed right onto the back of his head, and he was kissing me. His cock was still inside me, but the pounding had stopped, and the gentle strokes of his cock against my hole were more soothing than exciting. It was just satisfying to know he was there with me. He was kissing me so gently, so passionately, it almost brought tears to my eyes. He was so beautiful. His elbows were by my head. Finally, he came inside me again, and rolled off of me, exhausted. I looked over at him, his chest was all sweaty, and his ribcage was heaving slightly. I guess my workout was harder than his! I had to laugh at the thought. He was lying to my right. I noticed his left hand resting on his chest.

"Have you thought anymore about when you would like to get married?" I asked him, I couldn't resist it.

"Hmm? Oh Bugger-Fuck!" What? I had never heard him say that before, but ok. I raised an eyebrow when he turned to me slightly. "I meant to give you something." He rolled out of bed, and I watched his butt flexing with each step he took. His butt was shining with sweat, I just wanted to go and lick it. He went into his suitcase, and came back with something behind his back. "Now Kevin, I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to do this or not, but I wanted to, to show you that I will make any commitment to you that you will to me, I mean, I will promise you, I mean, no... oh crap this isn't coming out right. Look, I got this for you, and I don't know whether I'm supposed to get one of these for you or not, but here you go anyway." He pulled his hand out from behind his back, and handed me a ring box, the ring exposed. I just looked at it for a second.

"It's an engagement ring, I wasn't sure whether gay couples both gave rings, or if they were like straight couples, and only the person who proposes gives the ring." I looked up at him.

"I know what it is, I've gotta admit I wasn't expecting one, but it is really nice of you to give me one. Thank you Jared." I was kinda shocked, it was an impressive ring, perhaps more so than the one I gave him. For a moment, I was kinda upset about that, I mean, I'd always been the one with money in our relationship, and now Jared had spent even more money than me. Then I realised that all that meant was that Jared had spent more of his own money, and hence this meant a great deal to him. I know I shouldn't judge stuff by how much it costs necessarily, but this ring obviously meant a lot to Jared. When I looked at it up close, it was a band of gold, with square diamonds inset, all the way round, with only a ridge of the gold band edging them. It was beautiful, and yet I could see why Jared picked it, it was more, well, manly looking, it didn't look like a woman's engagement ring, the square diamonds really looked good. "Will you put it on for me?" Jared got this slight grin on his face when he realised that I liked it, and he slipped it out the holder in the box, and slipped it on my finger. We were both kneeling on the bed, and we both kissed. "Thank you."

"I love you Kev."

"I love you too." We both lay down again on the bed, facing each other. I couldn't stop smiling at him. "You didn't answer me before. Have you thought about when you want the wedding to be?" Jared looked down at his ring again, then looked up, slightly upset. "Jared?"

"Kevin, the thing is, I don't want to sound nasty or anything, but, I committed to you a long time ago. I knew we'd be together, this wedding is just confirming that, I'm not really too bothered when it is." He paused. "God, that must sound terrible."

"No, no, you're right, it is just a ceremony, I guess I just want to make sure everyone else knows that we're in love too." Jared turned to me, and smiled and nodded slightly. He was lying on his back, and I was on my side with my head on my hand.

"There is one thing, seeing as we are actually gonna do it, I definitely want my brothers to be there."

"Of course! God, I would never expect you to get married without your brothers there. Heck, if they couldn't make it, I'd cancel the wedding without even a second thought." Jared smiled again. "Do you want a big or small wedding?" Jared just looked at me with a grin, and shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm really not too bothered Kev, apart from my brothers, the guest list is basically your friends. You know how many people you want to invite." Jared seemed truly indifferent, and it was getting on my nerves.

"Come on, you must know whether you want a big wedding or a small one?" I looked at him, and he just shrugged. "Jared, you've got to have some input with this wedding, otherwise there's no point in it. It's supposed to be our wedding, not mine!"

"Kevin, as I said before, I committed to you a long time ago, this is just a ceremony!" Jared seemed so indifferent to all of this! I was getting really frustrated - I wasn't gonna plan a whole wedding, from when it was to how many guests there were to, well, everything!

"Jared, come on, please! I really want to do this together, I don't want to have a wedding that only one of us wants."

"But Kevin, you are the only one pushing for this wedding. You haven't heard me bring it up have you!" Jared answered. Ouch. That hurt. We were both talking with raised voices. "Look Kevin, I'm sorry, but I've told you everything I want out of this. I need my brothers to be there, but apart from that, it's up to you. You're the one who knows all the people, and you know America far better than I do - you'll be able to pick the right place and season than I can. I don't know what you expect me to put into this."

Jared's shoulders had slumped, a sure sign he felt defeated. I couldn't fight him once he'd given up. He also wasn't willing to look into my face. Now Jared has a great deal of dignity, and for him to have lost that, and be unwilling to even look at me, meant he had really given up. Jared didn't know what else to do. "Kevin, when I say I committed to you a long time ago, that was the happiest time of my life, when I knew that we were together, and we would be forever. Now, this is your time. I want you to be happy for this wedding, and, I think you'd be happier if you had control over it, if you could choose how we spent our wedding. I've no doubt that it will be a wonderful day, no matter how you plan it. If you need help, fine. If you would like my opinion on something small, fine. But with questions like, "how big should it be?", it really should be up to you. I would be really happy with either, small, because there's not many people I know well enough to invite to my wedding in the US, or big, because I know then we could invite all your friends." Jared sniffed. He was getting upset too. I went towards him, as we were now both kneeling on the bed again after our mini-argument.

"I love you Jared." I hugged him again, it just felt right to do it then.

"I love you too Kev." He mumbled into my shoulder.

End of Season Two - Part 1

Ok, so this is the first chapter of Season Two - is anyone out there still reading??? It would be nice to know what all the readers think! Just a sort of catch up with everyone who reads, and what they think of the story as a whole so far? Don't worry, the next few chapters are already planned out, and in the works, so I'm hoping they'll be out pretty soon. Hope to hear from lots of you soon!

Next: Chapter 49: On the Streets 2 2
