From the KTVQ Nightly News studio in Billings, Montana, Robert Borla, evening news anchor for KTVQ speaks into the camera:
"Billings Police investigated a meeting of social servants last evening, which took place in the home of Walter and Sarah Davidson in the Holly Oak area of Billings. Five servants and two soon-to-be indentured gentlemen were arrested."
"Not only are unauthorized meetings of social servants illegal in Montana, but all of the servants, and the pending indentees at the Davidson home were found with fake ID's, clothing, and travel supplies."
"Reporter Sheri Anderson spoke with Sheriff Ross Cunningham."
A video is played of Sheriff Cunningham speaking with the reporter. "What we found looked very much like an escape plan in the making. Walter and Sarah Davidson are on vacation, and left the care of their home to their social works servant, Michael Antonello. Apparently servant Antonello permitted the meeting and escape planning to take place at the Davidson's home. Fortunately, we were able to thwart their plans."
Camera back on reporter; Sheri Anderson, who speaks into the camera. "A hearing was quickly arranged for all seven males, and Judge Rudy Guralowski found all seven servants guilty of conspiracy to flee their terms of social service. The two soon-to-be indentured gentlemen gave as their defense the fact that they had voluntarily placed themselves in indentured service with the brokerage firm of Sherman, Lawson, and Stingle Imports in San Francisco, and since the time they made that commitment, Sherman, Lawson, and Stingle Imports had made dramatic changes in the terms of service for all of its indentees." "The judge proclaimed that their claims were groundless based on a review of the contracts the two gentlemen had signed with Sherman, Lawson, and Stingle Imports."
"Judge Guralowski made a summary judgment, sentencing all seven servants, who were all initially indentured for terms of eight years or less, to terms of servitude for life, and ordered all seven males to be permanently infibulated and chastity caged for the rest of their natural lives."
A video clip plays showing seven weeping young men being led to the van, as reporter Anderson continues.
"Here you can see the seven male servants, all under the age of 26, being led out of the courthouse and being placed in a police escort van which took them to the Yellowstone County Social Services Processing facility where, this afternoon, they were ID'd, tagged, chipped, tattooed, and branded as lifer servants."
"Afterwards their pubic hair was permanently removed; erection suppression chips were surgically emplaced in their groins; and their foreskin's were treated to a procedure known as a `high and tight'.
In a `high and tight' infibulation the foreskin is permanently closed by the means of four small rings that close off the foreskin as close to the glans, or head of the penis, as possible, thus permanently thwarting erections.
Finally the seven new lifer servants had their genitals fitted and locked into chastity cages which their sentences mandate they wear at all times for the rest of their lives."
"Back to you, Robert."
The camera goes back on news anchor Robert Borla seated at his anchor desk, with his co-anchor, Charlotte Morrison, seated next to him. Charlotte speaks her prepared comment in a serious tone to lead anchor Robert, "A very sobering lesson for all servants."
Robert shakes his head, "That's right, Charlotte. But you have to remember that when what seems like a rather harsh sentence, such as this one, is handed down to servants, it's often only because judges have few options. Because there are so many laws protecting servants on the books, judges often find themselves very limited in ways they can respond with creative sentencing."
"What mitigates these tough sentences is the fact that servants in Montana enjoy, overall, a high standard of living that is protected through ample legislation."
Charlotte nods to Robert, looks into the camera, and speaks, "We here at KTVQ studios are deeply committed to the institution of social servitude and to the well-being of servants. And it's for that reason that Robert and I wish to encourage all servants who happen to be watching this newscast tonight: we love you and appreciate all that you do in service, but for goodness sake, please always do as you're told, and don't ever do anything as foolish as these seven young men did. You saw the consequences."
Robert shakes his head, smiles to lighten the mood, and speaks in a down-home tone to Charlotte, "That's right. I know that you and your husband own two servants, Charlotte, as do my wife and I, and I've just got to tell you; servants can get to be a handful once in awhile, but we sure do appreciate all that they do for us, and we love them as much as our own family members. And that's why I want my servants and all servants to just do as they're told, so they can continue to lead productive and happy lives with all the benefits we offer to servants here in the "gold and silver" state of Montana."
Charlotte and Robert offer gleaming happy smiles to the camera, as Robert does an artful tic of his head to the side, "We'll be right back with the rest of this evening's news after this commercial break."
The End
