DISCLAIMER: O-town, Backstreet Boys and N'Sync are all bands that I don't know. I am not implying anything here. This is strictly created in my fantasies. I wish it was actually happening but I highly doubt it. I am in no way affiliated with any of their records companies and anything to do with these bands. If homosexual content is illegal for you to read or you don't like it then please leave.
The only thing I have remotely in common with these guys is that Ashley Parker Angel and I were born on the same exact day-August 1, 1981.
FIRST THINGS FIRST: The wedding chapter is here!...Again! Dan and Devon's wedding has finally arrived. What crazy surprise does ND have in store for the end of this chapter. I left you a pretty nasty cliffhanger at the end of the last chapter but that will be cleared up pretty quickly in this one. The last wedding chapter, Dan and Devon got engaged so read and find out what happens at the end of this one.
Everyone be sure to check out Armand's Lair (listed under the websites below)...it hosts my stories along with a few others. Excellent job by an excellent friend. Speaking of friends, Greybear has finally got to me. After this is over I will be updating The Next Generation series, which covers the lives of these character's kids, then picking back up with this story after a short break. I hope you all enjoy!
Sorry this chapter took so long...my life is very busy right now so bear with me. The opening scene is a classic comedy sketch that even I laughed at as I wrote it so hopefully that will make up for it.
A couple of the old regulars are trying to revive the old boybands chat room so drop in during the nighttime. We wanna get a good showing in there again and maybe give it a little more life.

All I Need Is You-Chapter Twenty-Five
Room 125 of the Sundial Hotel...a cozy apartment suite in the middle of beautiful Sanibel Island, Florida. It was decked with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and balcony. It was placed in the middle of paradise, the perfect place for an outdoor wedding in May. It was a secluded yet magnificent island and the hotel was right on the beach. A small group of people snuck into said apartment and ran up to the closed bedroom door, dressed in camouflage jump suits and army paint on their face.
"Everyone quiet, we're here." Ashley said through his black ski mask.
"Ash, I'm down with this prank but was the camo gear really necessary?" Erik said as he looked down at this crazy outfit he was wearing.
Ashley thought about it for a second.
"No, but it's cool as hell isn't it." Ashley
Nick just rolled his eyes.
"C'mon you guys we're making this a tradition after we did it to these two goofballs." Brian said pointing to Nick and Ashley.
"I know I can't wait to get them. Ok, on the count of three we're gonna get jump in on them." Ashley said.
"One, two..." Ashley began
"Wait." Trevor said.
"What is it Trev?" Jacob asked, his dreadlocks coming out of the back of his army hat.
"What if they're having sex?" Trevor asked.
Everyone just looked at each other. Jacob finally broke the silence.
"It's 7am, no one has sex at this hour." Jacob said.
"No comment" Nick said as he coughed jokingly.
Ashley just slapped him.
"Well, it is their wedding day." Erik said
"Alright, alright. Let's just do this." Brian said.
"NOW!" Ashley screamed out as he charged towards the door. He hit the door head on as it was locked. The rest of the crew followed suit and crushed Ashley against the door. All of them came tumbling to a pile on the floor.
Everyone moaned, especially Ashley who took most of the brunt.
"I can't be friends with you guys anymore. It hurts too much." Ashley said as he rubbed his sides.
Devon and Dan just laughed quietly from the other side of the door.
"Ok phase II" Dan said as they unlocked the door and headed into the bathroom attached to the bedroom and closed the door.
"What the hell was that Ash?" Erik said
"Damn, I swear it was unlocked when I checked it." Ashley said.
"Try it again." Nick said.
Ashley slowly turned the knob and found it was open. He shook his head in disbelief and waved his friends in slowly and then with a signal they all jumped into the room screaming.
They found no one in the bed.
"Ya know this really isn't working as well as I had planned." Ashley said with a sigh.
Just as they were about to head out of the room Dan and Devon jumped out of the bathroom with buckets full of cold water and threw them at the group, soaking all of them.
"Wow, who's crazy idea was this anyway?" Jacob said shocked as he lifted the shirt over his head to get the wet clothes off of him, revealing a skinny yet muscular chest with a slight patch of hair in the middle.
"How did you guys know?" Ashley asked amazed
"I planned that prank on you last year. I wasn't about to let it happen to me." Dan said still laughing
"I hate you. I'm gonna go dry off." Ashley said shaking his head in a joking manner.
All of the group in now wet camouflage gear headed out towards the balcony to de-robe so to speak and dry off. Devon went over and flicked on the TV to start the day. It was going to be a busy day but a good one.
Ashley walked outside and took a look at the sky after everyone was done drying off. The sheets of water that had fallen from the sky in the past few days had finally digressed and taken a back seat to the sun peaking through the clouds. It was a somewhat miraculous feeling as one almost felt it was doing it for a reason, for a special couple perhaps.
"Ya know, it finally stops raining and I'm still wet." Ashley said shaking his head
"Not your day huh?" Nick asked him as he put his arm around him.
"It's ok, I had my day, last September. This is Dan and Devon's day now." Ashley said peeling off his shirt to show a chest that still hadn't lost its boyish look.
"Well I'm glad to see my husband hasn't lost that spunk I fell in love with." Nick said as he kissed him on the cheek.
"I'll show you spunk. Well you turned into the mellow one, one of us has to be out of control." Ashley said jokingly.
"My fellow bandmates are thanking God for whatever it was mellowed me out. I guess kids will do that to you." Nick said prophetically.
"Hey space cadet...you're talking to your husband remember? I got the same kids." Ashley said with a laugh.
Nick just looked over at him and smiled and then laughed in a small way. Ashley walked over and put his arms around him.
"C'mon baby, where's that crazy guy that convinced me to get a tattoo, or the guy that used to dodge drunk guys and throw them into pools, or the guy that lured me into a hot tub on the first night I met him?" Ashley asked.
"That was our first night together." Nick said
"I know, that's where this crazy ride started." Ashley said.
"Maybe I'll show you some of that crazy guy later." Nick said seductively.
"Can't wait that long." Ashley said in a moan.
"I know I can tell by something pressing against my leg." Nick said.
"The kids are sleeping in Donna's room. She isn't bringing them over until after breakfast." Ashley said.
"Let's go." Nick said.
"We better go around the hotel instead of walking back through the room." Ashley said looking at the huge bulge in his pants.
"Good idea." Nick said as both men walked down the stairs attached to the balcony and around towards their own room.
"Hey guys check this out." Dan said out loud as he turned the TV louder.
"In a story from the entertainment world, rumors have been flying around that there has been a possible breakup of the world-renowned pop group Nsync. Apparently, an anonymous source clued the media into the fact that Justin Timberlake was planning a solo career and now that it is public Justin has made it official. He is leaving Nsync for bigger endeavors. We take you now to exclusive footage of their manager Johnny Wright speaking to a colleague." The news anchor said as the screen switched and everyone in the room stared intently.
"Look I can't confirm or deny anything right now. Sales have been down and morale has been low among the band. I don't want to give anyone false hope because it doesn't look good. The guys have been really tense around each other for a while and things are getting ugly. Justin is going solo anyway. I'll probably jump on with him. I don't know...Hey! Get that camera out of here! Stop rolling!" Johnny said as the camera faded to black.
"Wow this is intense." Devon said.
"I gotta go make sure Lance is ok." Trevor said as he darted out of the room.
Dan got up and shut off the TV.
"I'm not gonna let anything bring me down on my wedding day. Let's go get some breakfast guys." Dan said.
"Hey wait a second. You're not supposed to see Devon until the altar so this is where you guys say goodbye for the day." Jacob said dragging Dan out of the room with a pout on his face.
He glanced over at Devon who just had a smile on his face. He threw his future husband a wink and Dan smiled. He knew this was going to be a great day no matter what. For him at least. It might not have been for a few other people.
"It's gonna be ok Lance. We'll figure something out." Trevor said, hugging his boyfriend who was in tears, sobbing.
"Like what!? Justin was the only reason we were ever big. He was the key. Without him all of our careers are done." Lance said through sobs.
"You'll find something. You've got a great voice and knack for this business." Trevor said comforting him.
"I don't know Trev, this might be the end of the road for me." Lance said.
"Hey baby, no matter what we'll still be together. We'll figure it out together. Don't worry." Trevor said as the two men just embraced, holding each other for comfort.
JC sat in his house alone on the outskirts of Orlando. His head was down facing the floor. He of course knew that Justin was planning to go solo. He had after all been seeing him ever since everything went down with Josh. They wanted to do one more album for Nsync though before that. This was screwing everything up. JC wondered if anything would ever go right for him again. Now if he could only figure out who this anonymous source that clued in the media was. As if guided by the perverse hand of fate, the doorbell rang.
JC sighed and got up. He slowly opened the door and saw someone with his head down and a hood over his head. As the person took off the head and revealed straight gelled black hair and the face of his ex-boyfriend, JC understood. He kicked himself for not understanding sooner.
JC had always known about Justin going solo eventually, they were always best friends and talked about it numerous times. JC would of course be his tour manager and Justin would be the star, just like he always was and as long as he was with Justin his life would be cared for. There was actually only one other person he had ever really mentioned it to, and that was Josh.
Those green eyes that stared into JC's soul were filled with tears however.
"So it was you." JC said
"I'm sorry." Josh said softly.
"I guess this makes us even." JC said indifferently.
"I guess so." Josh said.
Both men stood there in silence, looking into each other's hurting eyes.
"Have a good life JC." Josh said as he slowly walked away.
"You too Josh. You too." JC whispered as he closed the door.
Ashley walked into the back of the church and into the side room that was reserved for one of the grooms. He knocked on the door and walked in when he heard Dan say come in. Ashley walked in and saw Dan fiddling with his tie, a silverfish color that was underneath his metallic silver vest that could be seen slightly underneath the black tux coat. Ashley was of course wearing an identical tuxedo, his tie already done by his husband Nick. Dan looked like he was struggling.
"Looks like you could use a little help." Ashley said as he stepped behind his best friend and looked over his shoulder into the mirror that was in front of both of them. Ashley fixed his tie then left his arm on his shoulder as they both stared at the reflection.
"Look at this Danny, after tonight we'll both be married. Pretty crazy right?" Ashley asked.
Dan looked up at him with puppy dog eyes through the mirror.
"Right?" Ashley reiterated by asking again.
"I don't know if I'm ready for this Ash." Dan said.
Ashley turned him around slowly and hugged him.
"C'mon bud it's just cold feet." Ashley said.
"I know. I love Dev so much but we're talking about the ultimate commitment here." Dan said as both men pulled out of the hug.
"I had the same feelings. If you remember correctly I cheated on my husband before the wedding and everything still worked out great. You guys are perfect for each other." Ashley said.
"You're right. I don't know if I'm gonna make it down the aisle. I'm so nervous." Dan said.
"Well I took care of that too." Ashley said with a smile "I'll see you up there." Ashley said as he patted him on the shoulder and walked out of the room, leaving the door open.
Before the confusion could even set in Devon walked into the room.
"Isn't this against the rules or something?" Dan asked confused.
"Have we ever listened to the rules?" Devon asked. "I think it would be best if we walked down the aisle together. That way neither of us fall on our ass." Devon said with a smile.
Dan found comfort in that smile. He saw the rest of his life in that smile. He knew he was ready for this. Devon was his soulmate and everyone knew it. Devon reached out his hand, a hand that now would belong only to Dan. Dan put his hand in his, signifying the unity they had, and both men headed towards the aisle.
The organ struck and Devon winked at his future husband. Both men walked hand in hand, together, down that white carpet. Everyone stood up and watched in awe as the couple made their way towards the altar. Off to each side stood all of Dan's bandmates, his brother, some of BSB and a few close friends Devon had in the movie business. At the base of the altar stood Nick and Ashley, one on each side of the couple. Ashley looked at Dan and had a smile on his face. He knew that Dan was making the decision of his life, but it would be one that he would never regret.
Dan and Devon walked up the stairs of the altar. Everyone watched as they each took the candle on each side that Dan's parents had lit. Devon's parents didn't even bother showing up but it didn't affect Devon at all. He had accepted Dan's family as his own a long time ago so he was more than happy to marry in. They both took their individual candles and lit the unity candle in the middle. Two flames now became one. They may have burned on their own before but now those were extinguished and one burned brightly for all to see. The priest began to speak as everyone went back to their places.
"Dearly beloved we are gather here today to admire the unity that Daniel Mark Miller and Devon Edward Sawa are about to make and to witness the love that will be shared for the rest of their lives. I'm reminded of a quote I once heard by John Greenleaf Whittier. The famous author once said that 'For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been.'' I must warn this young couple to never hold anything back. Live life as full as you can and look at each new day as a blessing because it will be a blessing that you share together."
Those words stayed in Dan's head as the mass passed by his eyes. He felt like he was in a dream. This was his wedding day. It was all happening. He couldn't believe it. He heard something about vows and forced himself to concentrate. He wanted to make sure that this part was special because he and Devon deserved it. This was their time now.
Devon had just finished repeating the vows that the priest laid out for them and putting the gold band on Dan's left ring finger. The priest now looked to Ashley.
Dan turned around and looked at his best man.
Ashley looked at him with his blue eyes and whispered.
"This is where you are meant to be Danny. Remember that."
Dan took the ring from Ashley and turned around.
"Now please repeat after me." The priest said as Dan put the ring to Devon's finger.
Dan repeated the words that the priest said.
"I, Daniel, do solemnly swear to take you Devon, to have and to hold, to love and to cherish, to honor and obey, for good or bad, for richer or poorer and in sickness and in health, for as long as we both shall live."
"By the powers vested in me I now pronounce this couple wed. You may now kiss." The priest said as everyone began clapping.
Both men leaned in and closed their eyes and shared their first kiss as a married couple. It was an amazing feeling to both. A feeling that only those that have experienced it would know. It was indescribable. Dan felt lost in this new feeling and never wanted to let it go. Before he knew it they were sharing that feeling again right after the band had announced "for the first time Mr. And Mr. Dan and Devon Miller!"
Then of course they shared in that same kiss when all of his goofball bandmates used the old tactic of clanging your glasses with the fork every five minutes. It was good for a laugh though and so was something else involving cake.
The cake was wheeled out onto the dance floor and Dan and Devon were brought in front of it. Everyone watched in anticipation as they had a feeling about what was going to happen and they all couldn't wait to see it. Dan took the plate in front of him and took a large piece of cake with a fork and started to feed Devon but then made a quick swerve and smeared it on Dan's nose and mouth.
Everyone laughed as Dan used a towel to clean off and took the fork to shovel off a big piece for his husband. Everyone was expecting a huge comeback but Dan slowly but surely placed the piece of cake in Devon's mouth and then turned around. Devon smiled as he chewed on the sweet cake. What he didn't see was Dan's hand come back around and shove a huge piece of cake in his face. Everyone laughed and cheered as the two newlyweds played with their food.
The DJ kicked on a song and everyone got up out of their chairs to dance. Everyone was enjoying the great night and dancing their troubles away. The outside world stopped for a night as Dan and Devon sat in their two chairs on a platform and watched their friends celebrate in their day with them.
"Looks like we made it Danny." Devon said as he looked over to him with a smile.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" Dan said as he looked out at his friends.
"All of our friends helping us through it? Yeah it is." Devon said looking out at what he was looking at.
Dan looked back at his husband.
"I was talking about our love." Dan said.
Devon smiled.
"That's what you told me right before you asked me to marry you." Devon said as he looked back at him.
"I know." Dan said as he smiled.
It was truly romantic as both men leaned in for a long kiss. The world disappeared as their lips embraced. They could barely sense anything but the kiss, which is why they almost didn't hear the loud thud and the music stopping.
By the time they realized something was wrong they looked up to see a crowd gathered around someone on the floor. Dan quickly ran over to see who it was and he gasped as he saw the identity.
It was Clive Davis. He lay motionless in the middle of the dance floor.
