"My Rules" Chapter 32

Ty woke with a new confidence on Monday morning. Billy and Matt had came to the house on Sunday to see what all Martin had done. Martin was pleased because Billy had told them to do anything they wanted to do to the house short of tearing it down. They did not need to ask. They had left early afternoon and had taken Ashton with them with the promise to return and have supper with them. Ty's pride rose as he watched how proud Martin was of the meal he had prepared. He realized himself that not only was Martin the sexiest man he had ever seen he was also an amazing cook.

"Are you sure you want to do this ?" the lawyer asked. "You are the one that filled out the papers and gave them to Krystal. She is the one that told you what to put in them." Ty said. "You know well how women can change their minds though." the lawyer said. "So you don't want to file these papers then ?" Ty said. "I just think you need to wait. Talk to Billy about it." the lawyer said. "First off I am a grown man capable of making my own decisions but I did talk to both Billy and Matt. Billy offered to pay for the divorce." Ty said. "Matt ? Oh that is the guy that seduced the pool man's son." the lawyer said.

Ty did not always catch on fast but he smelled a rotten egg. "You must be representing the dope head." Ty said. "Well I can't discuss other clients and cases." the lawyer said. "Just give me the papers back. I will find another lawyer to file them." Ty said. "Just be careful about any advice this Matt guy gives you. If I were you I would hold off. We can file these later if they are needed." the lawyer said. "Good luck with your case. That guys whole family has been banned from the building supply store because his mother went in and attacked Matt." Ty said. "I am sure she was an innocent customer and was attacked." the lawyer laughed. "Have fun with that when you have a full store of employees and customers willing to testify different. As for these papers I will find an honest lawyer." Ty said picking up the papers. "Since we are waiting you can go ahead and pay my secretary on your way out." the lawyer said. "Krystal hired you not me. Good luck finding her and getting your money." Ty said. "The papers said you were to pay for this." the lawyer called out. "Yeah the papers you don't want to file. Good luck." Ty said as he shut the door.

Billy could tell that Ty was upset as he came down the drive faster than normal and the truck came to an abrupt stop. The door slammed as Ty marched across the yard. Billy had the front door open to air out the fumes from the grout sealer applied to the floor. "What the hell crawled up your drawers this morning ?" Billy said. "That fucking lawyer. The son of a bitch did not want to file the papers. He told me I needed to talk to you. I told him I talked to you and Matt both. He said Matt was the one that seduced that boy and then had him arrested. Dude it took all I had not to lay that mother fucker out." Ty said. Billy took a deep breath. "There are other lawyers." he said trying to control his own temper.

"What exactly did he say ?" Matt said. "Baby uh...." Billy started. "Not now Billy. What exactly did he say ?" Matt asked. Ty looked towards Billy for permission. "Do not look at him. You look at me and answer my question." Matt said. Ty told them what the lawyer said and that he had figured out that he was representing the guy that attacked Matt and his family. Matt had began to shake a little. "Do you have the papers with you ?" Matt asked. "In my truck." Ty said. "Go get them for me." Matt said.

Matt pulled his cell phone out of his pocket. "Yes I need to speak to Bart. This is Matt." he said. "Mr. Matt, Mr. Bart asked if you could hold on for about a minute so he could finish his current call." she asked. "Sure. Do you like the new message system on the computer ?" Matt asked. "We love it. You and your guys were geniuses. Hold please and let me put you through." she said.

"Matt. What have I done wrong ?" Bart asked. "Believe me if you had done something wrong it would be another lawyer calling you on my behalf. That is if I could find a better firm." Matt laughed. Matt explained to Bart what was going on. He also asked if he could handle the simple divorce case for him. " Ask Ty if he is willing to talk to me and tell me exactly what was said ?" Bart asked. Matt handed Ty the phone. "Do not embellish what he said." Matt said. "Embellish ?" Ty asked. "Don't add anything to it. If he said it, tell Bart. If he didn't say it don't add it." Matt said. "Ah, got it." Ty said. Ty spoke to Bart for about five minutes. "Thank you sir. I appreciate all your help." Ty said before handing the phone back to Matt. "Yes I will be here all day but you don't have to do this that fast." Matt said.

Martin had finished his emails and phone calls for the day by lunch time. Transferring his home number to his cell phone he dressed to go and help Billy and Ty for the afternoon. He arrived just as they were setting down for lunch. "Hey baby. How did it go this morning ?" Martin asked. "Ask Matt." Ty said. Matt explained everything that happened but that his corporate attorney from Atlanta was handling everything. "Do you trust this attorney ?" Martin asked. " His firm is the best in the state. I keep them on retainer so that someone can not hire them to file against me for any reason." Matt said.

Just as they were finishing a black Toyota Camry came down the drive. "Who could that be ?" Billy asked. A smartly dressed young lady stepped from the car carrying a brief case. "That's Connie. I thought he was sending a courier. I had no clue he was sending one of the attorneys." Matt said. "Fuck, another attorney. I will never be able to afford this." Ty said through a mouth full of sandwich. "Check that attitude before she walks in the door or I will let her have you for lunch." Matt said firmly.

Matt introduced Connie to the other three. "So you are the person that took one of the top five Georgia bachelors off the market." Connie said shaking Billy's hand. "Top five what ?" Matt asked. "We keep a running poll in the firm of the top ten eligible bachelors and you stayed in the top five. I put you in the top three but office wide you were in the top five." Connie laughed. "He is definitely off the market." Billy laughed. "How do you judge your candidates ?" Matt asked. "You are off the list now so you can't get the number one spot. We go by looks, personality, drive and of course net worth." Connie said. "Surprised I made the top ten thousand then." Matt laughed. "I am guessing by now that you have your hands full but you have an amazing man." Connie said to Billy.

Connie first read the divorce papers and the one relinquishing parental rights. She had Ty sign the paper and then signed her name and stamped her esquire number. Then she turned to Matt. "I faxed blank statements to your employers. A building supply store, really ? But they are suppose to be faxing four statements to you here. I will need those statements. I have a meeting with the district attorney at three. " Connie said. "You got an appointment today ? It takes me two weeks to talk to him." Billy laughed. "Today was his lucky day. He didn't have to come to my office in Atlanta. I was going to be in town." Connie laughed.

The four men sat at the table listening to Connie and Bart's plans for the attorney and the family of the boy that attacked him. "Is this going a little too far ?" Matt asked. "Now Matt. It is seldom that I really get a chance to enjoy my job. Don't take the fun out of it." Connie laughed. "I like you." Martin said. "If you ever need a corporate attorney we are at your service." Connie said. "Get one of her cards Martin. If you need a Georgia attorney they are the best." Matt said. "Can you put all your information on the back such as email, fax and private server ?" Martin asked. "Why would you need my private server ?" Connie asked. "Finding a Georgia corporate attorney is on my to do list. Here is my card." Martin said.

Connie glanced at the card and then took a closer, quicker look. She looked at Matt with a questionable look. He just smiled and nodded yes. "Well Martin it's a pleasure to meet you and if I can ever be of service here is my card and it has all the information you will need." Connie said. Her heart wanted to sing and she wanted to call Bart but she kept her composure. The fax machine began to chime so Matt and Connie excused themselves to the office. " If that man of yours decides to go straight just let me know." Connie laughed. "You have a husband already." Matt laughed. " Divorce could be a pen stroke away." she laughed. "I will tell you this because you are on retainer for Ty. He and Martin are an item now. They are being very careful until the divorce is final. Treat Ty right and Martin will keep you busy." Matt said. "Fuck Matt, he looks like a kid. How the hell did he become head of purchasing for a multi billion dollar corporation ?" Connie asked. " He is good and sharp as a tack." Matt said.

"Nice." Connie said after reading the statements. "Look these over and see if they are accurate ?" Connie asked. "Pretty much so. Millie may border going over the line but you would have to meet her." Matt laughed. "These will do just fine." Connie said. "What do you think about the divorce and the other paper ?" Matt asked. "Pretty cut and dry. I will fast track it today." Connie said. "Assuring Ty of that before you leave will go a long way in getting Martin's business." Matt said. "Hell if it will get Martin's business I will have this jack ass attorney pay for their wedding and honeymoon." Connie laughed. " I guess that will make me a small client if you get his account." Matt laughed. "No way. Your account activity has grown tremendously since you sold out. You are even a bigger client now." Connie said. "Anything I need to know about ?" Matt asked. "Nope. If there is you will be the first to know." Connie said. "That's why I hire the best." Matt laughed. "I accept the compliment." Connie said.

Connie spoke to Martin and Ty before leaving. Matt and Billy watched as she started to leave. "She is good." Matt said. "Why do you say that ?" Billy asked. "She got a firm hand shake and smile from Ty and a hug from Martin. She is good." Matt laughed. " Lawyers worry me." Billy said. "That's why I hired them. Remind me to call Bart towards the end of the week. She said my account with them had gotten even more active since I sold the company. I think it's time for an update." Matt said.

"What is she doing besides the divorce and custody ?" Billy asked. " I know a cease and desist with the attorney and restraining orders for the family. It's all according to how frisky she feels. With her there is no damn telling." Matt laughed. "Like I said. They worry me." Billy said. "Oh by the way the restraining order includes you too." Matt said. "So I can't get a little ass until this is over ?" Billy whispered. "No silly. It stops the lawyer or family from interrupting you while you are getting some." Matt laughed. "I am beginning to like lawyers even more." Billy said.

Ty and Billy were hard at work with the siding. Martin helped Matt finish the final clean of the kitchen. "This kitchen is amazing." Martin said. "It turned out even better than I thought. I am about ready to get out of living in a construction zone though." Matt laughed. " I can understand that. I need to talk to Billy though. He needs to teach Ty how to hang curtains and make sure a dust ruffle is straight." Martin laughed. "Let me know how you come out with that one. Someone would have to teach Billy before he could teach Ty." Matt laughed. "We are lucky. We both have .... they are both good men." Martin said. "You were right the first time. "We both have good men. Ty is hooked, just be careful. Ty did not grow up part of the gay community so he is going to have to adjust. This is the south so you know that people will make comments. This will be new for Ty and he can be a hot head. Don't take anything he says personally because I guarantee if he directs his attitude towards you he will be begging forgiveness within the hour." Matt said. "I will try to remember that." Martin said.

Connie returned just after four. Ty and Billy were both on ladders putting up siding on the front of the house. She assured Ty that everything was in motion and that he should be divorced within thirty days. She also told him to maintain his current address until this was done because that was the only address they had for Krystal. "Do I have to live there ?" Ty asked. "No you just can't sell it or whatever until after it's final." she said. " I rent it." Ty said. "Just pay the rent until this is over if you plan to move. That's all you need to do." Connie said. Before going inside she walked over to speak to Billy. Her voice got weak as she looked up to talk to Billy. Billy was unaware but his oversized flaccid cock was visible up the leg of his shorts.

Connie and Martin walked in the front door with Connie fanning her face. "Are you alright Connie ?" Matt asked. "I see why you are off the market." Connie laughed. "What do you mean ?" Matt asked. "I just spoke to Billy out there on the ladder." Connie said. "Ah you got flashed huh ? I don't see how he does it." Martin laughed. "Does it get bigger ?" Connie laughed. "Much bigger." Matt laughed. Connie stood and fanned herself again before pulling out her paperwork. She gave Matt copies of the restraining orders for both him and Billy. She also gave him the copy of the divorce filing since Ty was on the ladder. "I am sorry you had to drive all the way out here today." Matt said. "I loved it. How often do you get paid to drive around the foothills and see the fall leaves changing." Connie laughed.

Martin prepared coffee while Matt and Connie chatted in the living room. " I am going to call Bart later this week to discuss what is going on. I need to know that everything is alright though." Matt said. "I will leave you two." Martin said. "No you stay. If something were to happen I will need someone to explain all this to Billy." Matt said. " You probably need to talk to Bart." Connie said. "Are you working on my book of business ?" Matt asked. "You know you pay for the best." Connie said and smiled. "Then I am taking my friend hat off and putting my client hat on. What is going on ?" Matt asked. "You know that program design was really just a by product of your business. You patented those programs. They are suppose to pay royalties for the sale of those along with their purchase agreement payment. They got a huge government contract on two of your programs. They tried to repackage and rename them. We caught them and they are paying a shit load of royalties." Connie said.

Matt sat back and thought for a minute. " Who caught it ?" Martin asked. "That would be me. They have to give us royalties reports. There were very little royalties but they submitted a letter of intent to expand that would not be covered in the sale agreement. I started investigating and found out the expansion was for computer programs. I hired the IT research company you used. They had a copy of your original. I set up a fake company and had them check it out. It was identical so I served them with papers and they have had to pay your royalties in those programs." Connie said. "It can't be that much money for those programs." Matt said. " After all expenses including our fees, year to date, you have made more than enough to pay for a fleet of new Range Rovers like yours out there." Connie said. "That one is mine." Martin said. "Nice." Connie added. "Smart, sneaky with results. I like you." Martin said. " Our clients are our utmost concern." Connie said.

They bid Connie farewell and thanked her for all of her work. Martin promised that he would talk to his boss and would probably contact her by the end of the week. "Damn Matt. Sounds like you are getting even richer." Martin said. "More taxes you mean." Matt laughed. "I like her. She seems to have her finger on what is going on and not leave it to a paralegal. " Martin said. " I did a lot of research when I started my company. I know their rates were higher than most but you also get what you pay for. Did you understand what she was talking about in case you ever have to explain it to Billy ?" Matt asked. "Yeah. Pretty straight forward." Martin said.

Martin walked out and looked up at Billy. "I am headed to get our princess sexy." Martin said. "I don't have a princess." Billy said. "Watch it dude. He was talking to the sexy one up here." Ty said. "I know." Billy said. "You two fight that out. I will see you at home later." Martin said. " He needs to say Ty next time, not sexy." Billy laughed. "Look dude you talk to me about sexy when you have pounded a sweet pussy over the seat of a four wheeler." Ty said and grinned. " When you take the sweetest ass in the world on the kitchen floor wearing only knee pads while they grout the floor we may have something to talk about." Billy said. "Sounds like you two both have too much to talk about." Matt said from beneath the ladder. "I love you baby." Billy said and laughed. "Yes Mama." Ty said. "Watch it." Matt laughed.
