I woke up early the next morning feeling energized and hit the bathroom to release my morning wood. I'm sure dreaming of Wally had nothing to do with the hard thick log I woke up with. Looking around the bathroom, I had forgotten that dad and mom had renovations done to both bathrooms before their death. Tears came to my eyes thinking that they had not got to enjoy their changes. The master bathroom needed no changes. The vanity was changed to a double sink with nice sterling silver fixtures. The shower looks welcoming with fancy large tile planks, beautiful stone accents and river rock tile on the floor. There are two large shower heads jetting out from the ceiling. I'm anxious to try it out later and a grin came to me imagining Wally and I showering in it together.
I put my shorts and tank top on and went into the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. UD was still asleep. He's usually up at the crack of dawn and I figured let him sleep in on his vacation away from the wife and girls! I looked around the kitchen and decided it looked good as well with no immediate changes needed. I forgot that during the renovations a wall was knocked out in the kitchen and made room for a breakfast bar. Four chairs were there now, but it seemed cramped. I did not care for the chair styles and will end up replacing them. The appliances are all sterling silver and everything appears to be working fine. I looked in the cupboards and decided some new dishes, cookware and silverware was needed. The pantry was bare, but I knew UD will start filling it up for me with the essentials.
I went out on the balcony with my cup of coffee. I grabbed a notepad and pen to make a list of things to accomplish (both short and long-term items). The morning was beautiful. A few early birds were doing their power walk on the beach. The gulf was calm and I soaked in the moment. After a few sips of coffee, I began my to-do list.
I quickly had a list of short-term items to accomplish, and I began putting priority to them. My most immediate item was to get my work wardrobe situated. I decided to buy new suits, shirts and ties for the television appearances. My Midwest apparel needed an update. I want neutral lighter colors for the suits, so I can use them as sports jackets with different color pants. I also want to get a couple of Floridian' sports jackets to accent my youth and hopefully my increasing wonderful tan! Another priority item was to get a television name picked out for my broadcasts. It's always a good idea not to use your given name on air so that people don't track you down immediately. I thought about just using CJ Skinner (knowing that my residence, address and other items are registered under Christopher Skinner). CJ Skinner seemed dull to me, so I needed to work on it. The station GM asked me to stop into the station two weeks before I start. He wants to get some welcome and future attraction' videos of me coming to the station. He informed me that he has a number of polo shirts, dress shirts, ball caps and a jacket to give me all with the television station logo on it.
I had to-do items for the condo to accomplish as well. Prior to starting my job, I want to paint a couple of rooms and rip some mirrors off a living room wall. The 80's disco look had to be replaced. I starred this item and made a special note of `Wally' it. I also want a new bedroom set that suits me as well as refresh the furniture in the living room and dining room. The patio furniture is sparse, and definitely needs some additional furniture to enjoy the views. The third bedroom also needs adjusted so that I can get a computer desk in it and set up my office while still having it function as a guest bedroom when needed.
I quickly drank two cups of coffee. Before I drank another one, I decided to check out the condo complex and refresh myself on the amenities offered. UD was still asleep, so I left him a note saying I'm checking the complex out and will be back soon.
I passed by two tennis courts, and went to the pool. It was situated so that the sun was present most of the day. It was a large pool and four hot tubs anchored the corners of it. Chairs, tables and loungers are scattered throughout the patio area. I'm definitely planning to spend time here. The lifeguard was doing some morning preparatory activities. I went up to him and said "Good morning. I'm CJ Skinner and I'm the new owner of 401." He replied with "Hey CJ, nice to meet you. I heard you were changing it from a rental unit to your residence. Glad to be getting more young blood into the complex! My name is Alex Turner and I'm the facilities manager here. If I can ever assist you with anything, just let me know." We continued chatting, and I told him I'm planning to get as much sun time as I can at the pool. I asked him where the work out room was. He pointed me towards the annex building entrance. I thanked him and said I'd see him later. I also said "Alex, once I get settled in, I want you to stop in for dinner and drinks." He replied "sounds great CJ -- I'm up for it when you are ready!" As I walked away, I did a quick glance at Alex again. Nice, I said to myself -- another person I want to get to know.
I entered the exercise room, looked around, checked out some of the equipment and decided I did not need to find a gym nearby. The place had everything I wanted and needed in my exercise routine. Weights, bikes, treadmills and a number of machines I will definitely try out. The room is open 6 am to midnight every day. Right now, the room was empty. I decided to check it out at various times during the day to see when the crowded times were.
As I turned to go out, I heard a voice yell at me "where are you going? I hope your face is just as handsome as your ass and legs are." I recognized the voice and turned around to see Wally coming out of the locker room. I walked over to him, smiled and said "so are you an early riser just like me?" He grinned flashing that beautiful smile at me and said "Yep. I like to get workouts in before I go to work several times a week." I asked him if it was always this quiet at opening, and he nodded yes. I told him I'd be hitting the place early until I need to change schedules for my work. He said "great, we can spot each other." Ah -- what a wonderful site looking up at his package early in the morning I thought to myself.
"I've got a busy day planned and need to get moving. My list of to-do items is made, and I'm anxious to get started on several things today." Wally replied with "if there is anything I can help with, just let me know CJ." I told him "Yes, I do need your help. I want to get your ideas on several smaller projects. How about dinner tonight, and I'll run the ideas by you?" He looked at me with those deep blue eyes and said "sounds great! I'm going to finish work today at 4." I said "plan on stopping by at 6. Do you enjoy steaks with the usual fixings? Wally stated "I have never met a food I do not like, except anchovies!" I cracked up and said "duly noted stud muffin."
As I turned around, he put his hand on my shoulder and said "I hope I did not come on too strong last night with the kiss?" I told him "No, not at all. Did I surprise you with the return one?" He smiled and said "not at all, I was hoping for it." Taking this as my queue I put my arms around him, and pressed my lips against his. He put one hand on the back side of my head and the other hand on my lower back. The kiss continued and I eventually felt his tongue prying my lips open. He is a great kisser, so that is one check mark off my list of great characteristics to look for in a man.
Our first kiss, a moment I will cherish. I broke away and said "Hopefully that was not too strong for you this morning?
"Definitely not", he replied. "Tomorrow, I'll give you something stronger in the locker room." I smiled to that and he swatted me with his towel saying he had to get moving. I gave him one more peck on the lips, which he did not refuse.
When I got back to the condo, UD was up and enjoying the morning coffee. I brewed another pot, and we enjoyed the morning tranquility on the balcony. He saw my list, and added a few items to it. Nothing big, but he wanted to check the washer and dryer to make sure it was operating fine; check out all pots, pans and kitchen utensils; get me new sheets and towels; and stock up my pantry! Between the two of us, we had quite a list going. He thought everything I had listed sounded good, and understood why I wanted to get a new bedroom set and change the furniture out. He suggested we put priority on that as well so he can assist me in getting everything done before he returns home.
Before finishing our coffee, I told UD "I ran into Wally in the fitness center and invited him to dinner tonigt. I was thinking steaks and a couple of your famous side dishes for the menu?" UD grabbed the to-do list, and started a grocery list also. UD said "let's make sure the grill is working and if we need propane." I told UD about Wally's killer bourbon drink and that he should get the recipe from him for his restaurants. UD then put a stop at the liquor store on the list to get the bar stocked up.
Uncle checked the grill, and I threw a load of clothes into the washer. We both did our morning grooming routines and met back in the living room before heading out. The grill's fine but needs a tank of propane. The washer worked fine, and the dryer appears to be working as well.
Our first stop was a men's apparel store. The salesman Greg assisted me with measurements, and I quickly found four suits. He marked up the suits and told me the alterations will be done on Tuesday of next week. I also added in several shirts as well as a couple of pair of slacks that will coordinate well with the suit jackets. I added some ties, and my television wardrobe was started. Greg asked "are you starting a new job?" I replied "yes, I am joining the weather team at the St Petersburg television station." Greg smiled and said "sounds fantastic. I'll be sure to watch your forecasts. If you can mention our name, you'll have discounts here for life!" Greg gave me a 20% discount. I paid the bill, his card and told him I'd be back in next week to pick everything up.
Our next stop was a restaurant for lunch. Both of us were hungry and soon satisfied with some burgers, salad and a couple of draft beers. UD looked at me and said "thanks for letting me tag along on the start of your new journey! I'm having a great time, and I did not realize how much I needed this time together with you."
I started to tear up knowing that our time together will be ending soon. I replied "it's me who is thanking you! I'm enjoying the time as well, and so glad I have your help as I make the transition to my new career, residence and future experiences which await me." We clanked our beer glasses together, drank the last of our beer and settled up the bill with the waitress.
UD asked "what's next on our day?" I replied "I'd like to hit at least one furniture store to see if anything jumps out at me, as well as hit the grocery store for the dinner menu before returning to the condo." He told me it sounded good but we need one more stop. I asked him for what, and he told me we need some cigars to enjoy on the patio. I cracked up and said, "definitely! We need to add in a few more for Wally as he enjoys smoking an evening cigar as well."
I lucked out at the furniture store I went to. A sale was in progress, and I found several items which suit my tastes. I ended up purchasing a bedroom set, a mattress set, a nice `Floridian' style living room set and a computer desk for my office. I received a flat screen 55" television as a promotional gift. I wasn't sure that I needed another television, but I told myself I'll find a place for it. I had the money to pay for everything but UD suggested I open a line of credit. His suggestion made sense, and everything worked out fine. I had a year to payoff everything without adding interest on and it will help my credit score. I set up delivery of everything for two weeks out since I wanted to get painting done first before moving new furniture into the condo.
We stopped ate the ABC store next and I bought some bourbon, whiskey, vodka and gin. UD added a few bottles of wine which he knew will go well with a number of dinner menus. At the checkout, I said to UD "do I look like an alcoholic?" He grinned at me and replied "no, I have a feeling you're going to entertain a lot. Eventually you will use all of this, trust me." I knew that I will use it, but at the time it seems excessive.
Our next stop was at a home furnishings store. I purchased some glasses, cookware items, dishes and silverware. They also had sheets and towels on sale, so I stocked up on those too.
UD told me there was a cigar store in the next block. We went in and found a very well stocked humidor. UD struck up a conversation with the clerk who turned out to be the owner. He introduced himself as Bruce Karshner. UD said "nice to meet you, Bruce. I'm Dean Skinner and this is my nephew CJ."
Bruce asked "how can I assist you today? Are you visiting and looking for a weekly supply of cigars?" UD replied "well CJ is moving here to start a new job next month. I want to get his humidor stocked for his evening and golf cigar time, and I need some for myself to partake in while I watch the evening sunsets here. Do you have any La Flor Domincana Double Ligero or JFR Lunatic in stock?" Bruce went to check and came back with several boxes of each brand. UD picked two boxes and said "let's go for these, you will like them. Anything else you want CJ?". I said "maybe a cutter and nice lighter?" Bruce showed us what he had in stock, and I made the choices. Bruce threw in a nice large glass ashtray on the house, as well as a 15% new customer discount on the cigars. I paid for everything, and Bruce took my contact information as well as the cigar brands for his future ordering purposes. He said "stop back in CJ when you run low. I'll help you out with whatever brand you want to try." UD and I shook Bruce's hand and we exited his store for our final stop at Publix.
The shopping activities wrapped up around 3:30 pm. The Publix trip was very productive as I began to stock the pantry with foods that UD and I will use while he is here. I also made several purchases of items that I knew I'll use after UD leaves. We had the jeep unloaded, and all groceries away by 4:30. UD got the propane tank hooked up, and I only had to wait 90 minutes until my new infatuation appeared at my door.
UD and I both cleaned up and awaited Wally's arrival. UD got some side dishes prepared, and prepped the steaks for grilling. I wiped off the new dishes, glasses and silverware for our use. I heard a knock on the door and went to greet Wally. UD remained in the kitchen and was out of sight of the front door. When I opened the door, I quickly planted a kiss on Wally's lips. I broke away from the kiss and said "welcome, please come in." Wally showed me a big ass grin, groped my enlarging cock and winked at me.
Wally handed me two bottles of wine. I said "thank you, but you did not need to bring anything." I took the wine to the kitchen and Wally followed me there.
Wally said "Dean, good to see you. I hope your day was good and the youngster here did not ware you out with all of the shopping?"
UD replied "Wally, I can't get used to hearing Dean especially when CJ is in the room. Please call me UD! We had a great day, and I hope you brought your appetite tonight?" Wally chuckled and said "UD it is then. Yes, I'm hungry for a good steak tonight."
UD replied "great. I'll get things moving here. But I do have one request for you Wally. My nephew tells me you make a killer bourbon tea? Will you make up a batch for our festivities tonight? I got plenty of fruits from Publix, some teas and we stopped at the ABC store to stock his bar properly!"
Wally smiled and said "I'll be happy too. Just pass me the supplies and a cutting board."
UD said "I also want this recipe. I heard CJ commenting on it all morning. If it's as good as CJ says, I'm going to put it on the bar menu at my two riverfront restaurants. I'll give a gulf flare to the Ohio River! What do you think of the name Wally's Sunset Pleasure for it?"
Wally cracked up and said "that sounds great UD. Once you get it on the menu, I'll make a special appearance at your place and sign autographs for your customers." All of us had a hearty laugh and continued on with dinner preparation activities.
While UD was finishing dinner up, I showed Wally around the condo to get some of his ideas. He agreed with me on the bathrooms saying they did not need any work (unless I really wanted to change something). I took him into the master bedroom, and surprised him by pushing him down on the bed. I went on top of him and began to make out with him. He said "I don't want to stop this, but be careful if you don't want UD to see this." I knew I was taking a chance, but I was horny as hell for this man that I just met one day ago. I gave him one final kiss, then continued the tour. His smile was bigger than I had seen from him yet as we continued the tour.
I told him I wanted to paint the master bedroom and advised him that my new bedroom set was a washed out grey blue color. I also added it's a wood and metal combination. He suggested a pale blue color for the master bedroom, which I liked as well.
I took him through the other two bedrooms. He suggested leaving the second bedroom alone, as it seemed good as is with a sand paint color. I told him the only change I planned in here was a new mattress set. In told him that I have a corner L shaped computer desk coming for the third bedroom, and that I wanted to move the large bed out of here to make it more of an office setting. He said "I have a full-size murphy bed in a light grey cabinet at one of my warehouses which you can have." I replied "perfect. My desk is a light grey washed out look." He looked at the walls and said "what do you think about adding shiplap or wainscoting on the bottom? Maybe a bolder color below, with a light grey upper color?" I thought about it and replied "yes, I like that. My school colors are burgundy and gray. Burgundy may be too dark but if I can find a dull finish burgundy, I think it can be pulled off. I'll finish it off with two chairs and a table along that wall." Wally said, "I like the direction CJ. Make it an office setting for you, but still useful as a bedroom when you have your family staying with you."
Dinner was exceptional and UD was showing off his hosting skills all throughout. Wally looked at UD and said, "damn, I need to visit one of your restaurants soon for the full UD experience! Please UD relax you have overly impressed me with everything. I can see why you are so successful with your businesses." UD smiled and I knew he was in the height of glory. I added "maybe we can get UD to buy a place down here and open his Florida branch? I can see it now UD's Beach Place." UD said "a good thought, I'll keep that in mind. I'll have two exceptional customers to start with, won't I?"
After dinner, I gathered up the dishes and loaded the dishwasher. I told UD to relax, and he decided to check in at home before further evening activities proceeded. Wally helped me clean up. I asked him if he will help me remove the mirrors from the living room walls? He said "yes, want to start this weekend?" I replied, "sounds good. I'd like to get the walls painted out here next week before any furniture arrives." I gave him the color scheme of the furniture and he said he'd think about a good color.
Wally mixed up another batch of his drink and he and I went out to the patio. "As you can see, I need some more furniture for the patio. It's so large and can accommodate multiple sitting areas." He agreed and said "when we go look at the murphy bed, I also have a number of patio sets just sitting around. I think you will like several of them, and you can have them." I replied, "that sounds awesome but I will pay you for them." He said "nonsense, no payment is needed. I'm going to get payment out of pounding your ass soon for it! We'll also remove your current living room set and take it to my warehouse. Someone may get some use of it."
I looked at Wally and said "that's a payment that I will gladly make to you." We both smiled, and he asked me "am I coming on too strong to you? In just the short time we have known each other I know I can fall for you very easily CJ." I replied, "go ahead and fall for me stud. I'll be there to catch you, and trust me I have deep feelings developing for you also. I want to get to know you so much better, and start a journey with you." Wally smiled, and gave me a quick kiss. He said, "good, I see that our ships are both heading in same direction."
Wally looked at me and said "one final question before UD gets back. Is he aware that you are gay or bisexual? I don't want to complicate anything for you. I'll be on my best behavior until he leaves."
I said "he may have suspicions, but I have not ever discussed my sexuality with him. Also, you can just say I am gay. I prefer being with men, and you are on my radar handsome."
Wally smiled and said "okay, it's just between us now. I'm going to sit back and enjoy this voyage with you. Since I divorced my wife, I realized that I'm gay as well. I have to say this has been the best 24 hours I've had in my life. I'm looking forward to exploring new adventures with you.
We both smiled, looked deep into each other eyes and Wally gave me a quick kiss.
UD returned to the patio with a large gift sack. Wally asked him if he was ready for another Wally's Sunset Pleasure. UD replied "hell yes, let me buy a round for all of us!" Wally did the pouring, and I asked UD "what's in the gift sack?" He handed it to me and said "open it and find out."
I took the sack from UD and said "stop this, you have already done so much -- no more gifts!" He said, "trust me you and your new friend Wally here will enjoy this. I'll also enjoy it with you two."
I began pulling out a bunch of tissue paper. The first item I pulled out was the ashtray that Bruce gave us earlier in the day. UD explained the gift to Wally while I continued unwrapping. I pulled out a beautiful walnut humidor capable of holding a large number of cigars. On the top of the humidor, there was a sterling silver plate with an engraved message. UD got up and said "I forgot a couple of items and will go get them. Do me a favor CJ, read the message privately while I'm gone. You can share it with Wally once I return."
I read the message which said "To my dear son CJ. We've been through too much and I do feel you are not only my nephew but my son as well. Whenever you take a cigar from this, please think of me. I love you very much and now I can sneak your cigars when I visit! All my love, UD". I broke out in tears, and Wally grabbed my hand asking "are you okay?" I nodded my head yes.
UD returned, and I stood up to give him a big hug. I said "I love you so much UD, and thank you for this token which I will always cherish." UD replied, "I knew you will enjoy it and treasure it. But don't ever share it with your aunt. She'll kill me if she knows I'm fostering your cigar smoking habits!"
I gave the box to Wally and let him read the message. It brought tears to his eyes as well. UD said "okay gents, lets fire up and enjoy our evening smoke. We need to make room in the humidor so I can fit the remaining cigars in there."
Needless to say, we enjoyed our cigars with plenty of Wally's sunset pleasure. The sunset was beautiful, and our endless conversation continued. I sat in awe realizing how happy I was. I had the most important man in my life sitting to the left of me. To my right an attractive man that I want to become my best friend, lover and partner in life. I know it's way too early to be thinking these thoughts about Wally, but I want it to happen and I'll do anything to make a future together with him.
