MY ELVISH BOYFRIEND (5)
By Dolphin Dan
It was the spring of 1993 and I had been dating Ernemion (Ernie) Maundelow since October. As the school year, my senior year, his junior, dragged on I started to dread the end of the year because I knew he was going back to Varandikar, and I would be going to college. I had gotten into UT Austin. Ernie was still pretending to date his pseudo-girlfriend, Jenna, who was using the fake relationship as cover to keep seeing her true boyfriend who was 25. I was surprised things managed to hold together as long as they did.
One of the best experiences Ernie and I ever had was in early April. It was an unusually warm day, one of the first truly warm days of the season, and we were glad to see the end of the cold gray rain that characterizes winters in Washington state. This was a Friday and a half day at school for some reason I don't remember. By chance both my parents, and Leigh's parents (Leigh's family was Ernie's foster family) were out that day. Ernie found me early in the day at school and said, "We will take bikes to the park zis afternoon." You did not argue with what Ernie wanted. He did ride bikes a lot; I hadn't ridden mine in months but as soon as school let out we took our bikes to a large forested park in Bellhampton with numerous trails.
That was such a beautiful afternoon. We kept riding the trails back and forth, under the dappled shade of the trees. Ernie took his shirt off and eventually I took mine off too. He usually rode ahead of me and just seeing his beautiful bare curved back, glistening with sweat, and locks of his long hair fluttering behind his pointed ears, it was just beautiful. The fact that I could see the band of his underwear sticking up over the top of his shorts didn't hurt either. After a long time of riding we stopped in the park and laid down on the grass, still shirtless, Ernie's thin tight stomach heaving, and stared up at the sky. I remember he said, "I will miss zis." I knew he was talking about when he returned to Europe. It lasted only a moment. He sat up, told me to get my bike and we would ride back to my house.
As soon as we got into the house Ernie attacked me. He literally pinned me to the kitchen floor, unzipped my shorts, pulled down my underwear and started sucking my cock like there was no tomorrow. He gave me a powerful blow job but didn't let me cum. When he felt me getting close he suddenly stopped, sat up, starting taking off his shoes and ordered me, "Get in bed, now!" We left a trail of our clothes throughout the house toward my bedroom, like they do in the movies. When I got in bed Ernie pounced and jumped on me, wrestled me onto my back and spread my legs. We had no lube so he couldn't get inside me, but he started humping my butt crack, pushing it between my cheeks which I clenched together to stimulate him. I felt drops of sweat from his forehead dripping onto the skin of my back. As he approached orgasm he made an animalistic growling sound, "RRRRRAAAAUUGGHH!!!" The explosion of his cum was hot and messy, splattering on my back, my butt cheeks, in my crack, and all over my upper legs. He immediatey flipped me over, dove his head into my groin and resumed sucking me as hard as he could. He also reached under me and stuck his long, double-jointed middle finger deep into my ass. The pressure on my prostate made me cum instantly. I gasped as I unloaded powerfully into his mouth. When it was over I realized I had grabbed Ernie's pointed ears to pull his head down on my crotch. I hoped I hadn't hurt him but he didn't complain. We had both cum harder than we ever had before in our relationship.
As vivid as the sex was, honestly what happened afterward was almost as good. My backside was covered in Ernie's cum and we were both sweaty from having ridden bikes so hard that day, so we took a shower together. We did not have sex in the shower, but it was super intimate just the same. He soaped up my back, rubbing deeply down into my ass crack, and he was in a great mood and said things like, "You are so dirty, I will clean you," and such, which were super hot in his Eastern European accent. The shower at my house was much smaller than the one at Leigh's so it was more intimate. When we got out of the shower we dried each other off, put our clothes back on and watched a movie on cable until my parents came home. The movie was "Forbidden Planet," a sci-fi movie from the 1950s. My mom was delighted to find Ernie haunting her basement rec room, and made a delicious dinner of souvlaki and homemade pita bread. (My family is of Greek extraction if you haven't noticed). This was probably the best day of my life up to that point.
Perfect days like this come at the peaks of life, and unfortunately things often fall down into the valleys after them. It was true this time as well. This perfect day was on Friday. On Sunday morning, at Leigh's house, Ernemion got a phone call from his mother back in Varandikar. His father had had a stroke. It was apparently a mild stroke. His life was not in danger, and it seemed he would recover. Ernie was not being called to come back home. But that evening we went out to our favorite pizza place, and Ernie told me, "Zis is not the end of zis. My father will get worse." It sounded less like a supposition and more like a certainty. I learned later that some elves do have the power of precognition. Ernie was stating what he knew to be fact even though it hadn't happened yet. We didn't talk about it that night but looking back on it I knew it was true.
I also did not know until later that Ernie began setting things in motion at school that very next day, Monday. He arranged to take several tests in his classes early and also started doing lots of assignments and term papers. He wanted to have this all done in case he had to leave school before the end of the year, so he'd still have credit for the full year. The worst thing would be if he got back to Varandikar and they didn't accept the credits from his year abroad a an American school. He did not tell me about any of these preparations.
At the very end of April, a couple of weeks after his father's stroke, Ernie called me at my house on a Tuesday night and asked me to come to Leigh's house right away. I knew instantly it was bad news. I got my dad to drive me over there. In the backyard--it was night and the crickets and frogs were chirping--Ernie told me that he got word that afternoon that his father had a second stroke, this one much more serious. His mother had decided he should come home immediately and Ernie would be leaving on Friday morning, his air tickets had already been bought. The official line was that he could come back for prom and finals, in mid to late May, once his father was better, but Ernie told me, "He will not get better." In fact he told me that his father would die on May 20th, at 3:00 in the afternoon. He told me this on April 27. Ernie hugged me and said that leaving me was the hardest thing he would ever do. When I got home that night I cried.
We had one last night together and that was the next night, Wednesday. Ernie came to sleep over, "like old times." My mom made dinner and after that we watched a movie on the VCR that Ernie had gotten specially, he said he paid $60 to buy it from Blockbuster Video. He said it was his all time favorite American movie. It was a film called "Breaking Away," made in the late '70s, but it was about a bunch of teenage boys in a small American town who want to win a bike race. The lead role in the film was a blond boy named Dave, and as we watched the movie while on the floor in our sleeping bags I realized this was the film Ernie had fallen in love with as a young teenager and probably the whole reason he came to America. In fact there was one scene involving this character Dave where, out of the corner of my eye I observed Ernie with his hand deep in his sleeping bag and I think he was touching himself. We finished the movie, turned lights out and then zipped our sleeping bags together. It was awkward because we knew this was the last time we would be together.
We started making out, and caressing each other. Ernie put his hand into my underwear. I groaned. We each took our underwear off and we were naked inside the conjoined sleeping bags. I played with Ernie's hair and his pointed ears. I said, "I'm not a thin, buff biker guy like Dave from the movie." Ernie smiled and he said, "Dave is a character in a movie. Danny is a real boy in ze real world who loves me."
It somehow seemed inappropriate to do hard core, raw sex. What we ended up doing was a repeat of the very first time we were together: I clasped my thighs together, Ernie put his dick between them and we did it "Greek position," which was wonderful. He came between my legs, coating my thighs with his hot cum, and then he let me do him in the same way. After I shot my load between Ernie's legs he drew his arms around my bare back and held me for a long time. He whispered into my ear, "Zis is not the end. We will meet again." We went to sleep naked, and only remembered to put our underwear on and unzip our sleeping bags in the morning just as others in the house started stirring.
For a number of reasons I couldn't go with Ernie to see him off on Friday morning. It was an hour drive to the Seattle airport, and Leigh and her family ended up taking him. Leigh did meet me at school that afternoon, April 30, 1993. She said Ernemion had got off okay on his plane, but he gave her something he told her to give to me. It was a paper envelope with something hard and heavy inside. It turned out to be a small, highly polished pebble, dark gray in color and very smooth. I didn't even realize until two weeks later that there was very fine elvish calligraphy scratched into the surface of the stone. I couldn't read it, but I knew immediately that this was some sort of magic amulet. I decided to keep the pebble in my pocket all the time, in case Ernie had put some sort of spell on it. I sensed instinctively that it was something he gave me to try to connect us.
The day I first carried Ernie's elvish pebble in my pocket, which was also the day of the AP US History exam, an interesting thing happened to me. I was coming back from lunch off campus, and walking through the parking lot of Bellhampton High School I passed several cars where various students were hanging out. This was totally normal. You would pass an old muscle car, a Camaro or a Firebird, where some headbangers would be smoking and their stereo playing Guns N' Roses or Iron Maiden; then you would pass some of the black guys and their stereo would be blasting hip hop of some kind. This was all normal. But on this day I passed a car, I couldn't even see who was in it, but it was a blue Chevy Nova and the stereo was playing a very old song which I did not know at the time, a song from the 1930s. I happened to hear it again months later and I found out it was a famous song called "We'll Meet Again," recorded by Vera Lynn. There's no way that a random high school kid in Washington state in 1993 would have been listening to some song from 1939 on his car stereo in the parking lot. This, I realized, was a magic message of some kind from Ernie. He had said, "We will meet again," and me hearing this song was a way I knew it was true.
I did see Ernemion Maundelow again. This was not the end of our relationship. It just moves to another phase after this.
More to come.
