MT. PLEASANT HIGH - SERIES

The last chapter:

The Georgetown County Gazette published on Sunday the whole story about the escaping of Capo Monteiro since the very beginning.

Darlene Mayer, Monteiro family's lawyer, the Capo Monteiro and his sons and wives were arrested.

Lopez and Miles were received privileged information and managed to out of jail.

"Miles?"

"What?"

"Are we lucky or what? Check who's driving in..."

"That's the car! The little fuckers who got our money!"

Miles silently thanked God, but if he thought again, he was being so paradoxical that he should really not thank anyone, especially not God.

"Now it's just a matter of time. After school we follow them and figure out where they live."

"Are we gonna wait here?"

"Better not. A car parked in front of a school for too long with two men inside might look suspicious. Trust me."

Lopez knew what he was talking about.

PART 15 - BACK TO MT. PLEASANT HIGH

Paul Sardington woke up to the first day of school with the same thoughts that had been on his mind for over a week now. He woke up with a tent in his boxers and thinking about that night in Hennesey Park when he saw his school buddies fucking on that car's hood. Then Zack handled his cock and sucked him. Oh man, that shit was intense, the most intense thing ever... Even more than when he fucked that chubby girl, he was not willing to remember that. He remembered the exact words Zack told him that night.

"Oh, fuck man... Just don't ever tell a soul about it..."

"You gonna like it..."

Though Paul wasn't willing to admit that night, that live gay action happening presented by Matt and Josh before his eyes had turned him on and boiled up his teenager hormones. Zack handling his cock was not bad at all either.

No one could know what happened after that, not even his shadow could but he did ask Zack to suck him.

"Zack... Suck my cock man..."

"Really?"

"Oh yeah man, I lied to you. That girl never sucked my cock. Go crazy and just do it Please..."

Zack and he never brought that up again, but he sure had that in mind everyday. That was all he could think about when jerking off those days. The unique feeling of his friend's mouth in his cock, getting all the way in. The weird but amazing sensation when it was totally engulfed and Zack's nose got to his pubes... He couldn't help it and started stroking his meat! That was unforgettable, shooting a load of his sperm and Zack swallowing the whole damned thing? Talk about something that was hot! He wanted to do that again but was scared with every single cell of his body that it meant he was gay. He couldn't be gay. Or better, he didn't know anything about that and the consequences it would have, but he knew for sure being gay couldn't mean a really good thing.

One more thing that wouldn't go away from his mind at all were the words that Zack told him when he was surprised his "straight" friend swallowed all his cum...

"Man... It's fucking delicious. Plus you shoot a whole damned load man... You always do that?"

"Dunno man..."

"Fucking awesome."

"You liked it?"

"LOVED IT!"

"Really?"

"Wow man... Could do it all over again..."

Paul was jerking off laying on his bed and that was uncontrollable, impossible not to do it. Since that night in the park, it became a law. He would think about that night every single morning. He even dreamt about it! The effect it had in him was clear when he shot his load. Before that, he shot reasonable loads and not very far but, after that, when he started thinking about his buddies instead of girls, his jizz would fly high and land up in his chest and sometimes it would hit his chin!

This morning after he came, again landing on his chest, he kept thinking about Matt. He would probably have some classes with Matt and Josh too. Damn he felt like he wanted to approach Matt in the party last Saturday but Matt seemed so upset and started drinking so heavily that he was forced to miss that opportunity. Josh was different, he didn't feel that attraction for him, undeniable and persistent.

Josh walked into the school building side by side with Shawn and Philip and he felt good coming back to school, his life was different but he was up to the challenge, he even felt that, at some point, he was going to become an out and proud homosexual but, not now, in the future, whenever he decided he was ready. Right now he had more urgent things to deal with, like that jewelry thing that he felt uncertain about. It just felt right, but it seemed to be wrong. That whole thing was confusing.

Shawn was excited about the new school, the people were welcoming especially girls, he knew he had that effect on them but it was not like he would jump in their arms, his game was certainly not that. Philip and Josh made a good job introducing him to people they knew. His hopes were that soon he would be one of them, Shawn Hunter, just another student in Mt. Pleasant High, not the wrecked kid that had to leave Mississippi in the middle of the night leaving a whole life behind.

Philip, well, Philip. He let life carry him on, never much worrying about anything. He was just what he was, not much to add not much to hide, but still not the guy who would advertise his life choices in the school hallways. He'd hooked up with some of the guys in the school. Some nerds, jocks, average students. He never really cared for having a steady relationship, maybe it could happen if he found the right guy. This could be the year. Secretly he dreamt of having a real date to the prom, not just a girl among his friends that he would invite because she and him didn't have dates. It was time he asked a boy to be his date to the prom.

Chad Campbell, Zack Gahm, Paul Sardington, Matt Jeniker and the other guys in the 'gang' walked into the school and all eyes were on them. The chicks wished to have them, some guys were jealous that they were popular, some other thought they were too stupid to realize that life is not just high school and those popular guys were fooling themselves and one day would figure out the worst way possible that they should've spent their time in high school not trying to be popular and adored but working up their minds.

Matt used to watch Chad and the guys from the outside but now he was on the inside, he was part of the popular group. Finally! His pals looked at him with a mix of jealousy and respect in their eyes... It was wonderful. He didn't even considered giving a thought to what it had costed him, his friendship with Josh. Well, he was mad at Josh for what happened at the party in the bathroom though, if he thought again, he had nothing to be mat at, Josh only did what he did to Josh. It was all fair and... Well, let Matt think whatever he wants to. This was his moment, the walk of someone who was now among the powerful, ever admired guys from the football team...

Aside from that usual talk, "who's doing what?" "Who's dating who?" The first day of school is really a huge mess, people walking up and down the halls, comparing schedules, checking who's going to be in their classes... Not to mention the... Oh, let's let the school things for a while, there are more interesting things going on in Mount Pleasant.

"Do we actually have a plan, Miles?" Lopez asked while pulling away from the school.

"I, uh, well. I don't have any. Do you?"

"As a matter of fact, I don't. I mean, we're gonna figure out where they live and then I suppose we're going in for the money. Right?"

"This whole thing just seems like a huge mistake."

"But we're into it and there's no turning back now. Unless, that is, if you're willing to face jail time. A cop in jail. Oh that would be some fun for the inmates. A plan. We just have to find that damned money."

"Where are you driving us?"

"To whatever bar near the interstate. We can cool off there."

Usually cops were not welcome in the kind of bar but in Mount Pleasant they were not known. Had it been in Georgetown County they would've been not so gently invited out. They maintained low profile there drinking in silence, each one of them thinking of a way to get to the money. It had to be in one of the boys' houses. If that didn't work things would become harder and each minute they spent nearby Georgetown County the chances of being caught increased a little bit.

"I strongly suggest we should contact Monteiro's daughter-in-law, she seemed prepared to handle their business and well, she might have the resources we're desperate in need of."

"What are you talking about, Miles? This is OUR business now, they're gone. We go get the money, the jewelry and that's it, you know, we just get the hell outta here."

"Do you really think we can just walk into those kid's houses and, bam, We get the money, just like that, nice and easy?"

"That's what I'm saying, they're just kids, they probably didn't think about taking it anywhere."

"And how did the journalist get the pictures of the ACTUAL money? Don't you think they're in contact with the Feds by now?"

"If they were, we'd know before the thing blew up."

The waitress brought another round of beers for them and they waited until she left again to start talking.

Though Miles was not confident about the plan they didn't really have, he knew it was now or never, this was the last chance and they had to give it a shot. If this thing didn't work he knew what he would have to do: Get out of there, with or without money, take a bus and go far, as far as he could imagine, to a place where no one knew him, restart his life, try to get his wife to understand he did those things in order to provide them a better future...

"You're full of crap, Miles."

"Go to hell, man, I'm here opening my heart, sharing my ideas with you, trying to reason my way out of this mess. I don't wanna live on the run. I'm not that guy."

"Well, I won't give up that easy. I want this money, we risked everything for it. I'm not walking out of this empty handed. Either I get it or I'll die trying."

"It's easy for you to say it because you don't have a family..."

Whoa, touchy subject. Lopez hated whenever someone brought up the 'family card' and used it on him.

"All right, Miles, instead of engage on this talking with you, I'm gonna act, call in some favors with some people I know."

"Who?"

"Well, we've always let the smaller fishes go to catch the big ones, right? So now, we'll rely on those small fishes to help us out."

Quite a few low life guys were called, each one of them owed their freedom to Miles and Lopez, one way or another. Easy favors, I need two guys, I need a van, I need this, I need that... Miles thought Lopez was not the smartest cop he'd ever met but when it came to become a criminal Lopez had quite a talent. Before noon they had a big operation together.

"There. Said and done. They're all gonna be around the school, waiting for our command."

"What is it gonna cost us?"

"Buncha Benjamins..."

"That's all?"

"Those guys owe us favors... Now whatever we give them is gonna be well paid for."

"If you say so."

Monday morning in the Georgetown County Gazette's building was nothing but celebratory. Everyone who walked into the building brought their vision of "word on the street" and it was all about the Sunday Story. That's saying much more than a decade into the 21st century. Local newspapers are not that commented anymore, only when it had catastrophic news or big stories just like this one that Richard Desbordes brought into the Gazette. Monday's edition was out already with more things on the stories that were unfolded. They had to print an extra edition Sunday and Monday came with an adding to its usual circulation.

"Forty percent more, Richard. Forty percent!"

"Whoa, that's great, chief. We are the talk of the street."

"It makes me miss the old days, guys... Now we're declining. This generation reads much less newspapers than they fathers did. It's all about internet now."

"Ok, chief, let's not cry about the internet, right? We're also strong with our online edition. Let's just keep working."

"Speaking of that, Richard, how's the progress in capturing those dirty cops?"

"I tried speaking to those FBI agents and the Police Chief but got only to voice mail. I'm gonna run down to the station and see what I can get there."

The Police Department of Georgetown County did not have much to add about Lopez and Miles, only that they were the shame of the department and every single member of the Force was engaged in getting them behind bars.

"Why am I talking to you?" Richard wanted to know.

"Because I am the spokesperson for this department. You've talked to me a million times."

"I know, Ned, but I was hoping to talk to the Chief, or Rex..."

Richard had to be careful around this little man, after getting around him to reach his boss many times, they were probably punishing him for withholding the story, and thus far allowing Lopez and Miles to escape. Richard even tried reasoning with Ned.

"Richard, do not waste your words. Save it for the Channel 6."

"So is that it?"

"Is that it what?"

"You guys are trying to make me pay for getting one more job?"

"You are saying this yourself. Be careful because you might need to prove it."

"What?"

Ned stood up and nodded with his head indicating the coffee room. They started whispering as they each filled a cup of coffee.

"Between you and me, here, Richard, off the record, ok?"

"Ok."

"The Chief is pissed at you because he heard from the FBI guys that you withheld information."

"I did not!"

"I don't care. I'm a journalist too. I would do the exact same thing to ensure I could publish a story in the very right moment. Seriously, I envy you, in a good way, of course..."

"Ok, I didn't take it otherwise."

"I know you did it because it is now common sense between them, every one here know that you got some sort of deal with the FBI guys and stuff..."

"Yes, that's because neither they or your department investigated it properly and I did."

"All right, but no one in the Force is allowed to give you not a single piece of information about anything before it becomes public, do you understand?"

"I do."

They silenced when a cop entered the coffee room. He coldly nodded to Richard and made small talk with Ned.

Richard was thinking of a way out of it.

"This really sucks, you know?"

"I know it does. What they say is that you brought this on yourself."

"I did their job for them, dammit. What if I try to talk to Rex?"

Ned looked at him behind his glasses and the whispering became almost inaudible.

"I wouldn't talk to him right now. He was accused of feeding you privileged information and he is pretty upset."

"Ok."

"But he told me that he was thankful that you didn't explore much 'Lopez's past'." He air quoted that.

"I told him I wouldn't."

"So, again, totally off the record, if you wanna talk to him avoid his office here or the other one... Try to get him somewhere else. You didn't hear it from me, ok?"

"I never even talked to you."

"No, you did. The cameras registered you here, if you say you didn't it'll look even more suspicious."

"All right. I better be going."

Matt was in the same English class with Paul, Josh, Philip and Shawn. He sat right beside Paul and he was super friendly with Matt, which was new but not totally unexpected since now they were part of the same group. Josh was close to Shawn and Philip was taken by some of his girl friends to sit next to them. Josh made eye contact with Matt quite a few times but it was never responded with a smile.

"Man, I'm really surprised to see you well today."

"Why, Paul?"

"Matt, really? You drank way too much Saturday night. I even thought you were dead... I mean, Zack was supposed to drive you home and was trying to get you up so we could leave but nothing seemed to do the trick."

"Didn't he drive me home?"

"What? You don't know? Man, you were super wasted."

"Then tell me, because up until now I was thinking you two had got me back home."

"Zack gave up on you after many failed attempts to get you up. He was about to leave you behind..."

"Really?"

"Yes. He actually told me we should get going, because if you needed medical care we might be in trouble."

"Oh what a big friend."

"I told him that. But as we were leaving that friend of yours, Josh, came and I can tell he and Zack had a discussion."

"About what?"

"I don't know because at that point I was on the outside already. I could see through the door they were somewhat arguing. That was fast, though. Last time I saw you, Josh was carrying you with that new guy over there."

"Shawn?"

"Yes, I think that's his name."

"So they are the ones who drove me home?"

"I suppose. You are here, safe and sound. Didn't you need to go to the hospital?"

"No. Well, I guess not. All I know is that I woke up at home Sunday afternoon."

"Then I guess you should thank them."

"No way in hell!"

Matt spoke a little too loud.

"Is there a problem over there Mr. Jeniker? Mr. Sardington?"

"No, ma'am."

"Nothing, ma'am, I'm sorry."

"Keep it down, will you?"

After that they talked more discreetly.

"Matt, aren't you friends with Josh? I mean..."

"What do you mean?"

"Uh, nothing. I just thought you two were friends."

"We were. Now I don't know anymore. That's why I was surprised that he was the one who drove me back."

"You wanna talk about it later? You can come to my house after school."

"I guess we can get together after school, no problem."

All right, Paul got what he wanted. So much talking actually led him to invite Matt to his place. It was not as wild as being on a car hood in Hennesey Park but things could evolve.

During lunch break the groups reunited in the lunchroom and Matt was with Chad, Paul and the others in a central table, next to the cheerleaders table, privileges of being the royalty. Josh, Philip, Shawn among others less popular kids found their place in the surroundings.

Matt finished eating and came down to the 'unwashed'.

"Shawn, can I see you for a second, outside?"

"Sure. I'll be out in a minute, just finishing here."

Matt walked away from the table he used to sit at and left the room. He did not look at Josh's direction.

"What do you think he wants?"

"Dunno, Josh, guess I'll have to go there and figure out."

"So go, and come back to tell me."

That talk aroused Philip's curiosity too.

"What's the deal with you and Matt? You used to be friends."

Josh looked around and whispered to Philip when he was sure no one was paying attention.

"I guess it's not that easy having sex with your best friend and think feelings will be left entirely aside..."

"Ok. You know that I'm gonna need details of that later, right?"

Josh smiled at him.

"I'll think about it, right?"

Outside the lunchroom, Matt was waiting for Shawn to come.

"Why didn't you tell me that you and Josh drove me home Saturday night?"

"Because..." Shawn started but he saw how infuriated Matt's eyes were. "First off, you have no reason to be mad at me OR Josh. I didn't tell you because you said to me very clearly that you didn't want to hear about Josh. Remember that?"

"Yes, I do... But you HAD to tell me."

"I'm sorry, I thought you didn't wanna hear about him at all."

They both went silent for seconds, Shawn looking at Matt and Matt staring at the horizon, certainly thinking.

"Does that change your current status on Josh? I mean, the 'I hate Josh' status?"

"I'm still hating him."

"I don't understand why."

"Because he... I don't know, Shawn. I tried to apologize to Josh but he never let me, then in the party he... Oh, let it go, right?"

"Ok... Just thought you should get your friendship back. Both of you want this and are too stubborn to admit it."

"Whatever. I gotta get inside."

Josh's phone rang and it was the journalist.

"Is everything ok, Josh?"

"Up until now, yes."

"No sign of the money cops?"

"I guess not. Do you think they might come after me?"

"I don't know, you better just watch out..."

"Ok, maybe I'll go crazy..."

"Don't! Don't get paranoid, just watch out... Listen, about the jewelry..."

"Mr. Desbordes, I'm having second thoughts on that."

"Really?"

"Yes. Could we meet later?"

"I'm gonna be in Mt. Pleasant later. Do you know where Channel 6 studios are?"

"Yes."

"Go there. I'll be there after 3pm."

"Ok, I'll go after school."

"See you then."

About that time, while Lopez and Miles were having fried chicken for lunch two of the guys Lopez contacted met them at the bar. Lopez fed them the plan he and Miles had agreed on. Soon the guys left and followed to the place they were supposed to wait further information.

Forty minutes before school ended the dirty cops got in their stolen truck and drove back to Mt. Pleasant High. In the morning they got a better parking spot but they could still see the VW perfectly.

They spotted Josh and Shawn when they approached the car. The other kid was not with them. Philip would go home with his mom this time.

"What did you think about your first day in Mt. Pleasant High?"

"It was better than I thought, Josh. People were friendly with me, I talked to more people than I used to talk in my school."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"I guess you were not that popular back in Mississippi then, right?"

"You guess right."

"Funny, I thought you were popular."

"Why?"

"Dunno, you got the looks."

"Oh, that means I'm pretty?"

"Yes, you're very cute. Like you don't know."

Lopez saw the car pulling out of the parking lot and Miles let the others know through the radio the guys brought them.

"Target's on the move."

At a traffic light they stopped. From the stolen truck they could see the two kids were having some great conversation, they laughed and seemed to be in a joyful mood. Miles let out a exclamatory "crap!" when they saw the boys kissing.

"They just kissed."

"Yeah, I saw."

"On the lips."

"I also saw that."

"Didn't think they were gays."

"Who cares, Miles? That doesn't change anything. I'm only thinking about the money. They could be Adventists, Mormons, Black, Asian, straight, gay, whatever..."

They followed the VW from a certain distance, Miles followed the their path on the map. When the kids turned in Ruby Street, Miles announced:

"Don't turn in there."

"Why?"

"It's a dead end street... A cul-de-sac. If you go in, we're gonna be spotted."

"Ok."

"Park near the corner, so we can see where they go."

Josh parked the green convertible in his driveway and Shawn and him talked and laughed a lot more. Apparently they were much in a sexual mood.

"Do you think they're boyfriends?"

"Don't know why you seem so interested, Miles."

"Not interested, just don't know about it."

"Man, when are you living? 1955?"

"Whatever, forget it."

The happy kids talked unaware that they were being observed. Jordan walked down the street shortly after, he'd gotten off the bus. His school was a bit closer but the bus is slow, so he got home after his brother.

"Hey, Jordan, how was the first day?"

"Crappy, as always. How was yours?"

"Not crappy at all."

"What are you doing now, Josh?"

"I was just telling Shawn here, we're going downtown. Why?"

"Can you drop me by the mall?"

"What are you doing there?"

"Hang, see stuff."

"Why don't you invite Aaron? You two seem pretty close these days."

"I'm gonna meet him there. His mom picked him in school and is driving him there."

"Hmmmm." Josh felt something in the air, and to be fair, his brother was giving all the signs that there was something going on between him and his friend.

"Hmmmm what?"

"Nothing."

"Weirdo."

Shawn stepped in the conversation.

"Ok, Josh, I'm gonna go in, take a shower then we go downtown."

"I'm gonna do the same."

Josh actually wanted to say he would like to get in the shower with Shawn but, well, his brother was around.

Paul walked with Matt to his home and all through the way he thought whether he was making the right call on this thing or not. He didn't even know how to get that kind of talk flowing. Zack and him in Zack's car went through because of the Josh and Matt's scene happening before their eyes. But what about now? Matt going to his house with him, what would be the spark that could send his and Matt's hormones in flames? He was already hard, no doubts there but... Well, it was not easy to get things going with girls, why should it be any easier with a boy?

"You're awfully quiet, Paul. What happened?"

"I was just thinking."

"Thinking about what?"

"I dunno... Life... Funny stuff that happened..."

"What funny stuff?"

"Uh, well... Why don't we talk about that when we get to my home?"

"Oh, sure, if you prefer that way."

Matt was not naive anymore and he'd been with quite a few boys to know this one was at least a little interested in him. Apparently when you become gay, a whole "update package" is downloaded and installed automatically in your brain and you begin to see things through a different perspective. Oh, that "package" includes a "gaydar", which is what tipped Matt on Paul's apparent interest.

Paul told Matt he could leave his back pack on the couch and they got upstairs to Paul's room, they both sat on the bed and suddenly Paul lost all ability to talk. He was shy and well, if his attitude before let Matt know what was going on, now he understood it was up to him to make the next move, or else.

"So, Paul, why'd you call me here?"

"Dunno, man, dunno, just talk... Dunno."

"Whoa, a lot of 'dunnos' in the same sentence, dontcha think?"

"Hehe, I guess."

"Are you nervous about something?"

Looking closely, Paul Sardington was nothing bad, nothing bad at all! Matt's curiosity made him imagine how big was the thing he had within his pants and that lead him to make the definitive moves.

"No, Matt, I dunno... I guess I'm not nervous."

"You know, Paul, those 'dunnos' are not really helping. I'm gonna say something."

"What?"

"I think you're kinda cute..."

That one caught Paul off guard, he didn't know what to say after that. He just smiled and Matt touched his face, so tenderly that it made the moment take a turn somewhere from awkward to romantic. Matt leaned closer and Paul, instinctively did the same, they met in a kiss, shy as it may be described the first kiss of a boy with another boy but, soon the shyness gave place to something else as hands were included in the action, first around their upper bodies and not long after, well, boys will be boys and hands traveled to more interesting places, landing on those growing bulges... Paul, you horny thing! He was the first to unzip, he undid Matt's pants and fondled over the boxers what was in there concealed. Matt couldn't miss that moment and he made the initial move to get rid of his shirt, to what Paul promptly reacted finishing what his 'buddy' had started, then he did the same to his own shirt.

The first complete exploration on the body you've been craving for is something so awesome, Paul was eager to doing that for some time now, he covered with kisses pretty much every single inch of Matt's body until he finally took away his boxers and he could say Matt was endowed when he felt what was covered but when the real thing was shown in all its glory, oh man! Paul hadn't seen this big... The unexpected took place and he engulfed that damned big cock, first without much confidence but minutes passed and he was handling that piece of heaven with all the attention it demanded.

Matt was loving being blown by Paul but he, as a cock lover himself, could not let go by the opportunity to have in his mouth a new cock, one he'd never tried before, and a one that he never really thought he would want. He pulled Paul close to him and kissed his mouth while slowly pushed him onto the bed, then began the same process Paul did to him, kissed his way down until uncovering that cock. Matt never saw a cock he didn't like and Paul's was not different, he took that in his mouth with so much pleasure that Paul moaned and sighed with the feeling Matt provided him. It was something Paul felt with Zack but that was way more intense with Matt... So special...

About thirty minutes later Shawn walked out of his house and walked up to Josh's place. Lopez received a phone call right after that.

"Ok, Miles, now we have info on them."

"Spill it."

"The first boy, the driver, is Josh Davenport, the other kid we saw that look like him is Jordan, he's 14, the father is a doctor, mom is an exec, the other kid who lives down the street is a Shawn Hunter, father is Michael Hunter, constructor... He's not registered to vote, there's uh... Not many data about them."

"The important thing, Lopez, when do they return home?"

"My source wouldn't know that, right? But execs usually get home late, as well as doctors and constructors. I mean, they're probably home alone..."

"And apparently they are getting out, you see?"

"Oh yeah, maybe they're going on a hot date."

"I don't know, the younger is going with them."

"Better."

Josh dropped off Jordan at the mall and headed with Shawn to Channel 6 studios.

"Why exactly are we going to talk with this journalist, Josh?"

"Because we have to set details for the selling of this damned jewelry. I want this off my hands ASAP."

"Me too."

"Plus, I'm not sure we're doing the right thing. I mean, we're turning into criminals just like them."

"I've been thinking about that too."

"And I'm 16 and I never did anything wrong. I mean, THAT wrong, you know?

"But ends justify the means, right?"

"Are you throwing Niccolò Machiavelli on me now?"

"There is not actual proof that he is the author of that sentence."

"Nevertheless it stands for what we're talking about. I'm just thinking our means are not really justifiable."

They reached the Channel 6 building and told the receptionist they were there to see Richard Desbordes. He walked downstairs with a big smile on his face and led them to an office where they could talk. At that time, the dirty cops had already met their accomplices and drove back to Ruby Street in a van. The outside of the van had the logo of the cable tv service.

Breaking in to the Davenport's house was not hard at all. The four individuals split and searched the house.

"Turn everything upside down if you need to, but find that money! Let's get outta here in 15 minutes tops!"

Lopez searched the living room, the sofa had its cushions thrown away books flew off the shelves, the TV set was moved aside... He found nothing then parted to the kitchen.

Miles searched the couple's bedroom. Hangers with clothes fell on the floor. Bras and panties were scattered all over the place along with dad's underwear and socks. The mattress was lifted, the bathroom was not neglected but there were not many places to hide money in there.

The other guys also searched Jordan's bedroom and as they walked out of it nothing was left unsearched. The same mess seen on the parents' bedroom was also seen on the younger's. Again, nothing was found.

Josh's old bedroom now was a sort of study room and there was made a big mess too. Dad's medical books, mom's work files... Every single thing that was on the shelves flew off on the floor. Lopez parted to the attic with Miles and the other guys. Josh's room was searched in details, all of his clothes were taken out of the wardrobe and nothing was found. His mattress was moved, his bed too. Nothing. No trace of the money. The laundry, the garage... Every single place of the house was searched.

"Guys, I think it's not here, let's go to the other kid's house."

This Ruby Street that looked much like Wisteria Lane did not have many people outside their houses on a Monday afternoon. Most people were at work and the ones that were in their houses were too busy to pay attention to what was going on outside. Lopez drove the van two houses down and parked in the Hunters driveway. They all left the van and going into the old Von Brauns residence was not a problem as well.

The search in this house was much easier because the house was not that cluttered but the mess left behind was very similar to the one seen in Davenports. The boxes in the garage had more interesting things. They were disappointed their searched brought nothing new when Miles found something.

"Is it the money?" Shouted Lopez.

"No, but it's something that we can use to get the money."
