July 28, 2003 From Chris's point of view.

A lot has happened since May of 2000. Nick is a recovering Alcoholic and Kevin has long since dealt with his anger management. Brian and I are still together. Yea I know I love him. Even through all the hard times that we have been through like the rape and beating. Our love has stood the test of times. After all that mess the Backstreet Boys were still able to come out with Black and Blue and their greatest hits cd. Now they were on break. They had tried to get back in the studio back in March but they had decided that they needed more time. Why? Well because Brian and I had a little boy that we had to take care of. His name was Cory. We adopted him. Well actually I did. Brian was just there as "the other Daddy" . We all loved Cory to death. He was such a cutie. He filled our lives with so much joy. I bet you are wondering what happened on that day when Kevin left that message on Justin's answering machine. Well Brian and him had their meeting and there was a lot of shouting and swearing. Kevin stormed out and two days later they were back at it again. But slowly and surely they worked things out. The first thing was that I was off limits. Kevin and I still didn't have to much to do with each other. I still had night mares about that night. He knew it and didn't press for a friendship.

Nick had gone into rehab and came out a better man for it. You could still see the haunted look in his eyes whenever he thought of those dark times. He and Kevin patched things up but didn't remain lovers. They decided that they were much better as brothers. Me? Well I had adjusted into civilian life really well. I had a great house. Yes it was still that Beach House that I fell in love with. I had gone into business on my own building web sites. Not that I needed the money. But mostly I was still in love with Brian. He was still as good looking as the day I met him. Now that I have caught you up to date let's move on with the next part of my life. The part where I get laid! Well that and among other things too. He he he

"Good morning love," Brian said softly as he kissed my bare shoulder. "You going to get up?" I groaned loudly and turned over to look at him. "I know you had a rough night but Cory is going to in to see his Daddy." At the sound of Brian's voice made my heart jump an extra beat. I loved him. And the thought of a curly headed blonde boy running in here made my heart swell with joy.

"Where are you going?" I asked as I watched him putting on his clothes.

"I have a meeting with Kevin," Brian said softly. "He wants to talk about something with me." I guess I had a small frown on my face. "Baby please don't," Brian pleaded with me. "That stuff was a long time ago. Don't you think it is time to let it go?" Let it go? After all the hell he had put me through? After all the crap he put Brain through? After all the pain and hell he had put Nick through? "Please baby?" Brian said with his adorable pout. I felt my heart give in.

"Don't be too long," I smiled at him. Brian kissed me on the lips and walked out of the room. That was when I heard it. It started out as a small thumping sound. Than it grew into a huge thundering noise. I quickly covered back up and closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. The door flew open and I felt him jump into bed. I could feel him crawling his way up to me. I waited until I could hear his cute little giggles.

"Daddy?" his little voice sounded over me. I opened one eye to see his smiling face shining down at me. "I'm hungry!"

"Well nice to meet you Hungry," I giggled as I grabbed him and pulled him under the covers with me. In a few minutes the room was full of his high pitch laughing. I finally let him out from under the covers and swung out of bed as well. "What do you want for breakfast?"

"McDonalds!" he exclaimed clapping his hands together. I sighed as I pulled on my shorts. "Pweease Daddy?" he asked me with those adorable puppy dog eyes that he used like a weapon.

"Oh ok," I gave in. "Race you to the car!" He squealed with laughter as he ran out of the room. I thought back on the day that we had finally adopted him. I smiled when I thought about Brian. He was so worried about dropping Cory.

Flash back

"Don't worry sweetie," I said as I watched Brian holding the four month old baby. "You're not going to drop him."

"Easy for you to say!" Brian said as he cast an worried glance at me. "You're not the one who his holding him." Cory let out a happy squeal as he looked up at Brian. I watched with pride as Brian's face melted into a cute adorable smile. "Hey there little guy!" Cory gurgled with glee and wiggled his hands. Brian looked up at me with joy in his eyes. "I think he likes me!"

"Of course he likes you!" I smiled as I kissed him on the lips. "You're his pappa! He loves his pappa!" Brian blushed and cradled the babe with more confidence now. We walked out the hospital and got into our car and drove home to start our lives as a family. A real family.

End flash back

"Daddy!" yelled Cory. "I'm hungry!"

"Ok Ok," I laughed as I picked up the car keys and headed out of the house. "I'm coming. And I don't think you are going to starve to death!"

From Brain's point of view.

"Chris is not going to like this Kevin!" I shouted at him.

"You know something Brian?" Kevin glared at me. "I'm really getting tired of hearing what poor Chris isn't going to like. I'm fucking tired of pussy footing around him. Ok Ok! I fucked up! I raped him! I hurt Nick! I hurt you! That was three years ago! Let it go! I think I have more than proved myself! I deserve a life too! For the last three years I have been walking around on egg shells just so that I don't upset Chris. Well fuck him! I deserve some happiness for once."

"But do you have to buy the beach house right next to ours?" I sighed.

"Yes I do," Kevin retorted. "I love your beach house and the one next door is just like yours and I want to live on the beach for the rest of my life. You and Chris are just going to have get used to me living there!"

"Ok ok," I sighed. "I just have to figure out a way to tell Chris with out getting him upset."

"Chris is a big boy," Kevin said putting his hand on my shoulder. "I think he will take this better than you think he will. Now onto better things. How is my Nephew doing?"

"Growing like a weed and being spoiled rotten too," I said smiling.

"I would love to see him," Kevin said with a hint of sadness.

"Well now that you are going to be living next to us I guess you will be seeing more of us than," I replied.
