This chapter contains a short description of sexual intercourse between a adult and a boy. This is just an imagination, not a real experience. Also, I do not recommend having sexual intercourse with a boy. Please do not read if you are not interested.

Chapter 4 Escape

It was night, and only the warehouse on the first floor was brightly lit. Insects were flying around, attracted by the fluorescent lights. Johnson was working alone in an open warehouse. He took a breather and wiped the sweat from his body with a towel. He noticed Grant staring at him from outside.

"Come on" Johnson said and Grant arrived. And he spread his hands. Johnson picked Grant up and hoisted him onto his shoulders. And then they went outside. They slowly walked along the house in the darkness.

"Grant, you're getting heavier."

"I'm already 10 years old."

"When you came here five years ago, you were so small and cute."

"Don't I look cute now?"

"You are more cute than before."

It was almost dark inside the house. In the darkness, blue and red lights flickered sharply from time to time. The leaves of the silicon plants leaked a little bit of the electrical energy they had stored during the day, emitting it as fluorescence. Each plant was slowly flickering. And they were moving slowly.

"It's disgusting. Is that thing moving at night?" Grant, who was sitting on his shoulder, asked Johnson.

"They use the energy it stores during the day to grow even at night. It's very slow though."

Small lights flickered as they flew through the plants.

"What are those? firefly?"

"Those are bees. They are active even at night. They work hard using the energy from the fruits they collects from plants during the day."

Grant looked down at Johnson. "Same as you."

"Hehe, that's right," Johnson said with a smile.

Johnson noticed someone and stopped. Someone was crouched down and doing something in a nearby house. Dyson turned around.

"What are you doing?" asked Johnson.

"I'm replacing old bees with new ones."

Dyson was holding a small box. Johnson could hear the faint sound of bees buzzing inside. Johnson just passed by.

"You weren't the only one working late."

"He is special."

Dyson returned to his room in the research building with a small box in hand. He turned off the lights in the room and gently opened the box. A small bees flew into the room, emitting fluorescent light. Several small dots of blue light flickered around in the darkness. Dyson sat in a chair and stared at the dancing light. After a while, the lights gathered towards Dyson. They began to slowly rotate above Dyson's head. Dyson lit a cigarette and put it in his mouth with satisfaction.

In the middle of the night, Grant was sleeping on his bed in one of the guesthouse rooms. The stand light above the desk cast a pale red light. The bedroom door opened silently and Karl came in. Then he sat down on the bed and stared at Grant's sleeping face. Karl lifted the sleeping Grant to his chest. Grant woke up and rubbed his eyes sleepily. Then he looked up at Karl. Karl kissed Grant's red lips. Then he stood up and left the room, still holding Grant in his arms. Karl's bedroom was a little further down the dark hallway. Grant was carried away with anxious eyes. Karl's bedroom was filled with a dim red light. He gently placed Grant on the bed. Then he took off Grant's pajamas and his briefs. Karl also stripped naked and climbed onto the bed. Then he covered Grant, who was lying on his back, and hugged him, giving him a passionate kiss. Grant's tongue entered Karl's mouth. Their saliva mixed together. After a while, Karl got up and turned Grant onto his stomach. He then opened Grant's ass cheeks, exposing his tightly closed pink anus. Karl brought his face close to Grant's anus and put his mouth on it. Then he pried Grant's anus open with his tongue and licked the hot rectal wall. Grant groaned. After tasting Grant's rectum, Karl sat up. He lifted Grant up, placed him on his back, and placed a large pillow under his head. Then he brought Grant's legs up to his chest and exposed his anus. He smeared a little lotion on that pink anus. Grant's four-inch penis was hard and erect. While Karl handled Grant's penis with his left hand, he tied the two fingers of his right hand together and inserted them into Grant's anus. Grant's anus had become loose from the many times he had had anal sex with Karl. Karl's two fingers were inserted into Grant's anus up to the base and pulled out again and again. Grant closed his eyes and continued to moan. After softening Grant's anus enough with his fingers, Karl pulled them out and made Grant lie face down. He then opened Grant's butt cheeks and applied a generous amount of lotion all over Grant's perineum.

Grant buried his face in the pillow, waiting for the pain that would soon come.

After a while, Karl's penis was in Grant's ass. Grant kept gasping. After 15 minutes, Karl ejaculated into Grant's rectum.

A man was walking behind a building. He was a security guard, Mizoguchi, tall, with glasses, and wearing a striking blue uniform. He was quite fat, with a perfectly round face, yet a small nose and a slanted mouth, giving him a rather strange appearance. As a general rule, night patrols were carried out in pairs. However, in order to save money, he walked around lonely and alone. He was walking slowly, shining a flashlight in my hand behind a building. On the other side, House's dark shadow continued into the distance. There were mercury lamps standing here and there, casting a faint light on the ground.

'I hope nothing happens tonight.'

Mizoguchi always thought so. If he were to encounter a robbery, he didn't have any confidence that he would be able to stand up to it. This was because it was completely different from what it looked like, and what looked like muscle at first glance was actually fat. Mizoguchi stopped. I saw something like a black shadow on the ground. Mizoguchi shined a flashlight on it. It wasn't a shadow, it was a deep hole. He could see small insects flying away little by little.

"Oh! No!" Mizoguchi panicked and took out his cell phone.

Dyson came rushing in, buttoning his jacket. He could already see some people near the house. The large Johnson turned to Dyson.

"What happened?" Dyson asked.

"Look." Johnson pointed to the ground.

There was a gaping hole about 50 centimeters in diameter in the sand.

"Some bees escaped from here."

"The bee..." Dyson stared into the hole. The hole seemed to go all the way down.

"How many escaped?"

"I don't know"

Dyson raised his head and looked at House near the hole.

"There's no way bees could break through the barrier and make a hole. I guess the ants did it in some unknown way."

"What should we do?" Johnson asked anxiously.

"Burn the house closest to here, the houses on either side of it, and just in case, burn down everything on the other side."

"Okay. What should we do with the bees that escaped?"

"Without silicon plants, they wouldn't be able to survive for even an hour. Leave them alone, and they'll die out soon."

A few days later.

Dyson was snoring in bed. He heard a crunching sound. Dyson's ears perked up. However, Dyson soon lost his hearing and turned over in bed. This time he heard gunshots. Dyson jumped up. Then he ran out of the room in his pajamas. He heard a series of gunshots. Several men in pajamas, just like Dyson, were popping out in the aisle.

"What happened?" Dyson asked a man nearby.

"I don't know. It looks like someone is firing a machine gun."

Dyson took out his cell phone and called the security office. He ran to the elevator with his phone still in his ear. He heard the sound of a busy tone.

"Fuck!" Dyson waited impatiently for the elevator to arrive.

He jumped out of the elevator and ran outside. The sun was already shining brightly on the desert. The sound came from the house. Some people were running towards them. Dyson followed. When he turned the corner of the building, he realized what the sound was. A small forest had formed in the desert. It was a forest of silicon plants that had grown to several meters in height. It was right near the building where the group of houses ended. Mizoguchi, a security guard, was firing a machine gun at the forest. Johnson was nearby with a large ax in his hand.

"How did they get out?" Johnson asked Dyson, who was panting.

Mizoguchi's machine gun fired randomly at the base of a huge plant, and blue flames shot up from there. Then it fell down onto the sand. Dyson noticed the sound of wings coming from around him. A swarm of bees was flying around the forest.

"I don't know, we have to get rid of everything. We can't let even one thing out of here. How long has it been like this?"

"It seems that it had already grown to this height when Mizoguchi first discovered this place. It may have been standing for a few hours after it started growing. Or maybe an hour at most. I can't say either way."

Plants near the building tilted and fell toward the building. Then, it hit the wall, and as soon as it collapsed, blue flames rose up. Someone already had a fire extinguisher in hand and ready. Immediately several lines of white liquid foam were sprayed out. Then the last silicon plant fell to the sand, burst into flames, and crumbled to pieces. Mizoguchi stopped the machine gun and wiped the sweat from his forehead. The men held fire extinguishers and poured flames onto the burning plants. The bees that were flying around coalesced into a single ball. Then, it soared high into the sky and disappeared somewhere. Dyson followed with his eyes.

"What shall we do?" asked Johnson.

"For now, I'll write a report."

"What they're doing there is too dangerous." Nelson on the screen said so. "Shady research on nanotech plants must be stopped immediately."

"Isn't it too early to decide?" Crane said.

"There hasn't been any real harm done yet," Yoshida agreed.

"However, those plants actually escaped from the cage. Although we have gotten rid of them, something similar may happen in the future. Luckily this time we were in the desert, so we were able to deal with it somehow, but it would be a big problem if it escaped and spread into the town."

"There is always some degree of risk in any research. If you are afraid of that, you won't be able to do anything, right?" Crane said.

"The degree of risk is too great."

"But I wonder how they escaped from that house." Newton, who had been silent, interjected.

"Their report - or rather, it's a dossier - suggests that the silicon ants, which are degenerated silicon bees, may have somehow created holes in the underground barrier, through which the bees and plants could escape."

"Even if that's how the bee escaped, how did the plant escape? Did they crawl out of the hole?"

"Their guess is that bees or ants brought the seeds out of the hole."

"I see" Newton said, putting his hand on his chin in thought. Then he glanced at Crane next to him. Newton and Crane's eyes met. Crane's face twitched a little. Crane turned back to the monitor.

"Director, that means..."

"What?"

"I heard that the bees fled somewhere in droves..."

A light finally went on in Nelson's head.

"Oh, that's bad."

"It's not just bad, it's really bad."

"What shall we do?" Nelson smiled and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Well, think for yourself."

Dyson contacted them. Dyson's pale face appeared on the giant monitor.

"Look at this."

An experimental cage appeared next to Dyson's face. There were some pitch black ants moving around inside.

"This is an ant sample taken from a house where the silicon plant appears to have escaped."

Inside the cage was a thick iron plate. An ant approached the board. A red string of light spewed out from the ant's mouth. It hit the iron plate. Then it turned bright red and eventually began to melt.

"Oh!" Yoshida and the others, who had been watching intently, exclaimed.

"What is it now?" asked Crane.

"Silicon ants ingest metal through their mouths and then melt it in their stomachs with high heat of several thousand degrees. These ants have learned to spit it out through their mouths."

"Wow!" Yoshida groaned.

"This is probably how they broke the barrier last night." Dyson said so.

"So you mean an ant that shoots molten iron at several thousand degrees from its mouth?" Crane said dumbfounded.

Suddenly, the face of an unknown man appeared next to Dyson. He was an elderly man, wearing glasses, with white streaks beginning to appear in his hair, of Asian descent, and looked like a straight-laced man who couldn't take jokes. The man opened his mouth.

"I'm Albert Fujimori, the Commissioner of the National Police Agency. I have heard what you just said."

Dyson on the screen turned towards Fujimori in disbelief.

"I will be taking direct command regarding this incident."

"The Commissioner of the National Police Agency goes out of his way to take command..." Yoshida and Crane were at a loss for words. Only Newton nodded in agreement.

"The experiments being conducted at your place must be stopped immediately. All the experiment equipment currently being conducted must be incinerated." Fujimori said to Dyson.

"Everything? I'd like to leave at least one house for samples."

"No," Fujimori said curtly.

"I order you to immediately send me a detailed report on the dangers of this matter."

"What is the deadline for submission?"

"I give you an hour."

Fujimori's figure disappeared from the screen.

Yoshida and his fellows decided to help search for the silicon plant that had escaped. That was Nelson's order. Yoshida and Lee were in the same booth, and Crane and Newton were in another. What was displayed on the monitor was an enlarged image of the Gaia's surface sent from a weather satellite. They focused on a radius of about 1km from the research institute and expanded to explore the state of the earth's surface. If plants had entered the area, a jet-black absorption band would have appeared and expanded rapidly. So far, they haven't found any such place. All they could see was a very normal townscape, a white road running between them, cars passing by from time to time, green fields, green forests, and here and there a reddish-brown wasteland. Yoshida yawned as he watched Lee tap the keyboard.

"Hey, don't be lazy." Lee said that without looking back.

"But it's boring."

"Okay, let's take turns." Lee said as he tried to stand up.

"Wait, wait, I'll leave it to you since you're more used to the controls. Just looking at your cute profile is enough for me."

"Hmph," Lee's mouth twisted as he returned to his seat.

Newton was dozing off in the next booth, his face buried in his keyboard. Virgil and Bobby, who had just gotten home from school, sneak into work room. Then they found Newton dozing.

"Isaac is sleeping," Virgil said in a low voice.

"Maybe he's just slacking off at work. He's not very motivated to do anything that doesn't interest him," Bobby said.

"Then let's wake him up," Virgil smiled.

"How?"

Virgil pulled out a bright red apple from his pocket.

"I heard it from you before. An apple fell on his head and the impact made him think of the law of gravity."

"What are you going to do with the apple?" asked Bobby.

"This is how you do it." Virgil threw the apple at the back of Newton's head as he dozed off.

"Bang!" "Gwahhh!"

Virgil and Bobby ran away as fast as they could.

Suddenly, a huge monitor stood up and a woman's face appeared. It looked like an emergency television broadcast. Yoshida and the others stopped and looked at the screen.

"Someone took away the seeds of plants that were being cultivated from a government-related research institute. This means that the seeds may have been dispersed elsewhere. This plant is highly toxic and dangerous to touch. If you see it, please contact the police immediately."

An image of a black silicon plant was displayed on the screen.

"As you can see, this newly developed plant is entirely black. It is said to grow rapidly. Furthermore, there are also bees and ants that live symbiotically with the plants. They are also completely black and toxic. So you should never touch them. If you see them, please contact us as soon as possible. Please call the nearest police station or call the number below."

A phone number appeared above images of plants and bees.

"Poison... huh?" Yoshida muttered.

"If she told it was a plant made of metal, people would panic," Lee said.

"Lee, is there a high probability that the silicon plants that escaped will reproduce somewhere?" Yoshida asked.

"Yes, sunlight, iron, silicon, and other trace elements. These are all they need. They don't need air, they don't need water. Humans need water, air, carbohydrates, amino acids, etc. It's much easier to live compared to that. It's a piece of cake."

"I guess so."

"And their metabolic rate is 100,000 times faster. They'll evolve 300 years in one day."

"300 years isn't a big deal."

"No, it's a big deal." Dyson's face suddenly appeared on the giant monitor. Yoshida almost fell off his seat.

"What's the problem?" Lee asked Dyson.

"Actually, I didn't write it in the report because I didn't want to worry them too much."

"Say it quickly," Lee urged.

"It's about evolution. We used the Lamarckian model rather than the Darwinian model to speed up the evolution of plants."

Lee was speechless with his mouth open.

"What does that mean?" Yoshida asked Lee.

"Is that true?" Lee finally spoke.

"In Darwinian evolution, the so-called survival of the fittest principle leaves those with superior characteristics in the next generation. But it's too late. So we decided to create a Lamarckian evolution system. In other words, we created a system in which genes reflect the functions and organs that are most used and needed in a given generation. So they can evolve efficiently."

"Great! But if that's the case, how fast will it evolve?" Lee asked.

"It was still under research. No clear results have come out, but it's probably tens of thousands of times faster than Darwinian evolution..."

Lee stumbled backwards. Yoshida quickly caught Lee's body.

"I don't really understand, but how fast does it evolve in a day?" Yoshida asked Dyson.

"If you do a simple calculation, that's tens of thousands of times more than 300 years of evolution in one day, or 10 to 20 million years."

"Wow," Yoshida said with admiration. "100 million years of evolution in one week, that's amazing."

"This is not the time to be impressed. After 100 million years of evolution, fish will come to land, become reptiles, and even become mammals." Lee shouted.

"Hmph." Yoshida thought about it secretly. A plant that turns into a mammal, grows hair, grows limbs, and runs around... A pure white flower on the top of its head. Yoshida shook his head.
