This novel is a sequel to my "Whale in the mirror land". The main characters come to a research institute where nanomachines are being researched. There, research was being conducted to create living plants called "Metal Plants" using nanomachines. At the same time, "Metal Bees" were created to serve as catalysts for metal plants. They escape due to an accident. They then take over the town and eventually try to take over the entire world.

There are some erotic scenes between a man and a boy between the ages of 10 and 12 in this novel, but not many. Very little. Please do not read if you are not interested in such relationships.

Chapter 1 Nanomachines

Yoshida was having a hard time falling asleep, so he decided to have a beer and calm down. He went to the kitchen and secretly took out a can of beer from the refrigerator. He popped the lid open and took a sip. He breathed a sigh of relief and looked at the clock in the kitchen.

"It's already 2 o'clock..."

Yoshida, fully awake, strolled over to his underground workplace. He could see the blue light of a monitor. Newton was sitting in front of his computer, staring intently at the screen. He was busy typing on the keyboard, not even noticing Yoshida approaching.

"What are you doing at 2 o'clock at night?"

When Yoshida looked in, he saw a 'Go game' board reflected on the screen. Newton finally raised his head. His face clearly showed that he seemed to be bothered.

"Go Game? Are you playing 'Go game' this late at night?"

"No. I'm making 'Go game' software."

"Oh, it's game software."

Newton looked forward and sighed.

"It's not that stupid. I'm creating an artificial intelligence that can play Go game."

"Wow,!" Yoshida exclaimed in admiration.

"That's quite difficult. I've thought about making one before, However, it was too difficult and I gave up soon."

"Considering your brain, that makes sense."

"Ukuku!" Yoshida clenched his back teeth. "So, When will the program be completed? I want to play against that program."

Yoshida secretly thought in his mind that he would take on Newton's artificial intelligence and wipe out all the stones on the board.

"It will be completed tomorrow." Newton looked at Yoshida.

"I'll tell you in advance. I'll play with this program first. You'll play after that."

"OK"

Yoshida left drinking a can of beer. Newton breathed a sigh of relief. Newton hates being disturbed by people. His hobby is doing everything secretly by himself at night. Long ago, when he was a professor at Cambridge, he had one room devoted to alchemy, and the walls were lined with alchemy-related books. On the table was a crucible, a blast furnace, nitric acid, mercuric chloride (mercuric chloride), vinegar, white lead, tartaric acid, cinnabar (mercury sulfide), and countless other chemicals. Newton fondly remembered those nostalgic days when he stayed up all night under the mysterious light of the red-burning crucible. The name he gave himself was Ieova Sanctus Unus, the sacred and only god. In the end, Newton was unable to achieve any results with alchemy. He stopped typing on the keyboard.

"In the end, I couldn't become the alchemist I wanted to be."

nstead, he became famous for his insignificant Principia. It was a book that was carefully written so that no one but himself could understand it. Therefore, when the book was completed, he couldn't understand it at all.

"Well, okay." Newton regained his composure and ran his fingers diligently across the keyboard.

The next morning, Newton was nowhere to be found. Only Bobby was eating breakfast. He wasn't even at work.

"I think he's still asleep because he worked late last night," Lee said.

Yoshida was interested in Newton's Go software. He came to Newton's room with Lee. He knocked on the room. There was no reply. The door was unlocked, so Yoshida secretly opened the door. He just put his head inside.

"Oh," Yoshida said in a surprised voice.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?"

Lee poked Yoshida on the back. He then pushed Yoshida into the room and looked inside. Newton was sitting with a Go board in front of him. And there was a small child sitting on the other side of the board. A boy of about 4 years old was playing with a Go stone in his hand. Yoshida timidly called out to Newton, who was staring at the board with a serious look on his face.

"Has the software you mentioned last night been completed?"

Newton raised his head and looked at Yoshida.

"Ya. That's what's right in front of me."

Newton took a black stone from the 'Go stone pot' and placed it on the board with a click sound. Without a moment's delay, the boy put a stone on the board. Yoshida and Lee looked at the board.

"Is there a living stone?" Yoshida secretly asked Lee.

"Nop" Lee shook his head.

Newton was staring intently at the board. His appearance was gradually becoming more serious. And the veins in his temples twitched. Tears seemed to be welling up in his eyes. Newton wiped his eyes.

"Uuuuu! I thought I had created a program that was weaker than me..."

"Huh?" Yoshida and Lee looked at each other.

Newton scratched his head with both hands. Then he turned the board over. Yoshida and Lee ran out of the room. When Yoshida finally turned around, Newton was biting the boy's buttock.

Crane was contacted by Nelson. Nelson's face appeared on the screen.

"There's a place that's doing some interesting research. Would you guys be willing to go investigate?"

"What kind of research?" asked Crane.

"Research on nanomachines."

"I know that. It's 'Gray Goo', right?"

Nelson shook his head.

"That's old, Crane. That's the world of novels and comics. Maybe you watch too many movies. That can't be true."

"I do know that I was worried about the nanomachines going out of control and turning into a sticky mass. What kind of nanomachines are they researching there?"

"Metal plant, that is, a plant made of metal. The research institute is in the desert. For more information, please ask the researchers there."

"It's a man named Buttocklover. Carlton Buttocklover. He seems to be quite an excellent man. However, He has a dubious reputation."

"Huh? What kind of reputation?"

"You'll understand when you meet him."

Yoshida, Lee, Crane and Newton decided to go investigate. When they left the transfer box, bright sunlight was shining all around them. The ground was reddish-brown and there were hardly any plants in sight, making it seem like they were in a desert. There was a small two-story building nearby, and a large five-story building was visible a little further away. It seemed like that was the research institute they were aiming for. As they looked around, a man wearing a white coat came walking from the other side. A man approached them slowly. Then he stopped in front of the four. He was tall and thin, with dark, tanned cheeks. His beard had grown slightly on his chin, and he looked down at the four with sleepy, half-closed eyes.

"I guess you're Crane." The man said to Yoshida in a low, easy-to-understand voice.

"No, I'm Yoshida and this is Crane."

Yoshida pointed to Crane next to him. The man turned to look at Crane.

"Then come here."

When the man said that, he turned around. Then he started walking towards the building. Yoshida and his fellows hurriedly followed.

"Are you Mr. Buttocklover in charge here?" Crane asked as he caught up with the man.

The man shook his head. And he answered without turning around.

"No, I'm just a researcher Dyson."

"I think this man has a big attitude." Lee whispered to Yoshida.

"There are bossy people everywhere."

The group was heading towards a five-story building. There was an entrance in the center of the building, with a sign that said "NanoGen." There were several greenhouse-like objects on the other side of the building.

"Is this the research building?" Crane asked Dyson.

"That's right. The first floor houses the materials management department and mechanics. The second and third floors are research rooms. The fourth floor houses the office, cafeteria, information management department, information reading room, meeting room, and rest room. The fifth floor is a simple accommodation facility for staff."

"What about that smaller building?"

"It's a guest house. It's just you guys at the moment. Also, the director's family lives there."

"family?"

"The director and his son."

"What about his wife?"

"He is single. His son is adopted."

Yoshida and his fellows followed Dyson into the entrance. After passing through the reception area and the large lobby, the group took the elevator to the fourth floor. They turned several times down the hallway and came to a large office. They passed through it and came to a large room at the back. There was a desk with several computers on it, and a man wearing a white open-collared shirt was tapping away at the keyboard. He was a man in his 50s who wore thick-rimmed glasses, and was a man with a wide frame and a visibly stocky build. He stopped and raised his head.

"The crane team is here."

Dyson called out to the man. The man took off his glasses. Apparently they were glasses specifically for presbyopia. He was pale and had eyes that seemed to pierce the depths of the other person's soul. The man sat up and stood in front of Yoshida and his fellows.

"I'm Buttocklover, the director here. Are you Crane?"

Yoshida shook his head.

"It's me." Crane held out his hand to Buttocklover. Buttocklover grabbed Crane's hand with his furry hand.

"Nelson is complaining that this institute is spending too much money. Your job is to explain to the Union the importance of what we're doing here. Please investigate and report back. Please. By the way, how is your boy?"

"Is it Ganymade? He is fine, thanks to you."

"I think we get along well with you."

Buttocklover leaned his head against Crane and whispered. "How many times?"

"Huh?"

"How many times a week?"

Crane spread out all the fingers of his right hand, added two fingers of his left hand, and secretly showed him.

"Hehe," a light smile appeared on Buttocklover's face.

"Hehehehe," Crane said with a shy smile.

"Hahaha!!"

Buttocklover grabbed Crane by the neck and rocked it back and forth. And he pulled as hard as he could. Crane fell face first onto the floor. Buttocklover clapped his hands and looked at Lee.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Lee from the security department."

Buttocklover looked down at Lee intently.

"How old are you?"

"12 years old"

Lee shyly held out his hand. Buttocklover grabbed Lee's hand and pulled him closer. He then spun Lee's body around. Then he squatted down.

"What?"

When Lee turned around his face, Buttocklover was pulling down Lee's briefs. Lee's pure white butt was revealed. Buttocklover opened Lee's butt cheeks and peered inside.

"Bang!"

"Ouch!" Buttocklover held his head and screamed.

When he looked up, Dyson was standing there holding a bundle of magazines in his hand. Buttocklover staggered to his feet.

"Then just follow Dyson's instructions." Buttocklover returned to his seat, rubbing his head.

"The director has a bad habit, so don't approach him, especially boys like you." Dyson said to Lee as they walked down the hallway.

"He'll jump on anything with a hairless penis, even if it's a toddler with a pacifier in its mouth."

"Crane, what were you talking about earlier?" Lee asked Crane.

"Talking?"

"What do you mean seven times a week?"

"Kids don't need to know." Yoshida interjected. Then he turned his head to Crane.

"Of course it's a lie."

"Ah, you get it?"

"Hmph"

"Actually, it's 21 times a week."

Dyson, who was walking in front of me, opened his eyes. Yoshida looked up into the air and sighed.

'Hahan'

Lee looked up at Crane as if he had figured something out. Then he rubbed his butt against Yoshida and cleared his throat.

"Ahem"

They arrived at the information center. There were several booths surrounded by low partitions, with monitors lined up on desks.

"This is an information viewing room for guests. Staff can view it from anywhere on the computers at their desks."

Yoshida and fellows were finally able to sit down on the chairs. One side of the room was a window, and they could see the desert stretching out to the horizon.

"Let me begin my explanation." Dyson was the only one standing.

Crane and Newton took out their notebooks.

"What we are doing at this research institute is the development of nanomachines. Nanomachines are microscopic machines created using nanotechnology. Nano means 10 to the minus 9th power. Therefore, the size is 10 to the negative 9th power meter in nanometers. This is 1/1000th of a micrometer, and while micro is at the cellular level, nano is at the molecular level. The smaller scale is pico, followed by femto."

Yoshida inadvertently yawned. Lee poked Yoshida in the side.

"Hey you. If you're not interested, you can leave NOW." Dyson said to Yoshida.

"I'm interested." Yoshida sat up in a hurry. Dyson continued.

"In other words, nanotechnology refers to technology that deals with molecular-level scale. Simply put, it is a technology that turns a large factory into the size of a microchip that can fit on your fingertip. The benefits of this are immeasurable. One such field is the medical field. The entire second floor of this research institute is dedicated to the development of medical nanomachines. It's called nanomedicine. Specifically, one method is nanosurgery, in which an extremely thin thread is inserted into the body and a swarm of surgical nanomachines are sent through the thread to perform surgery. Another method is to encapsulate a group of nanomachines in microcapsules and send them through the bloodstream to the destination, where surgery is performed. In addition, we are developing artificial red blood cell respirocytes. This is useful for emergency measures in case of cardiac arrest and for improving the performance of athletes. And the artificial phagocytic microbivorous cells, you could call them nano-combat machines. It is a great aid to the body's immune system. Furthermore, various cell repair machines are currently under development..."

"Gwa!" There was a snoring sound.

Dyson walked over to Yoshida, who was sound asleep. When Yoshida suddenly noticed, Dyson was right in front of him. Dyson grabbed Yoshida by the neck. Then he tightened it up as hard as he could and swung it from side to side.

"Uggugugu!" Yoshida's face turned bright red and flailed his legs.

Dyson finally released Yoshida. Yoshida was breathing heavily.

"Now continue. There are several types of cell repair machines. Cell maintenance machines that regularly remove waste products, chromosome maintenance machines, mitochondrial maintenance machines..."

Dyson's lecture went on and on. Lee was also starting to feel a little sleepy. Crane was dozing off while pretending to write notes in his notebook. Only Newton was diligently taking notes, his eyes shining brightly.

'I'll ask Isaac later.' Lee secretly glanced out the window. He couldn't see anything but reddish brown sand.

Dyson secretly typed something on his keyboard. Immediately, the sound of cymbals rang out loudly. Yoshida and Crane, who had been dozing, jumped up.

"Everyone seems tired, so I'd like to give you a little presentation."

The monitor screen changed and the inside of the cell appeared in 3D. Various medical nanomachines were flying around inside. Yoshida and his fellows rubbed their eyes and looked into the room. A female guide's voice could be heard from the screen.

"That's amazing," Crane exclaimed after a moment.

"Let me tell you, what I've explained so far is what the nanomedicine team is doing on the second floor. To be honest, there are many other research institutes doing similar things."

"What are you doing on the third floor?" Newton finally spoke.

"Hehehe," Dyson said with a creepy smile, his mouth twisted on one side.

"We are conducting unprecedented research there. Before I explain, would you all please come over here?" Dyson said as he walked up to the window.
