Chapter 13

March Stephenson

Maxieplus

It was in the middle of February it all started, the heat wave was relentless and everyone in town was on tenterhooks. Unfortunately up in the mountains, bushfires are deadly. A big one came through here in seventy-five it almost wiped the town off the face of the earth. Fortunately, March was a volunteer and he worded me up on evacuation if anything happened. I packed up all our important documents and photos and placed the container near the front door. He had cleaned out the gutters and installed a sprinkler system, cut down some dead trees, and cleared the undergrowth. He has been here before and his garage and the gym were given the same treatment.

I weighed it all up, and grans cottage was nearly eighty years old and still standing, so I deemed it a safe bet to survive a raging fire.

I could feel the buzz in the town people were only going out for essentials, then going back home to watch their properties.

Yes, there were spot fires and I got used to the fire station siren going off and March leaving in his truck.

"Just a paddock Nicky nothing to be concerned about but we are watching it."

"How did it start?"

"Some bloody kids playing with lighters nearly took out the school playground. Everything is so bloody dry."

Brenda was a force to be reckoned with, just about every day she posted warnings and requests for neighbors to make sure the elderly and children had plenty of water. Announcements for help were still posted and I found myself paying it forward many times. I would watch the page and if someone wanted a hand to clear some brush I volunteered. Brenda had a list of our dear elderly folks that we were to call in on to check their properties out, a few people wanted help loading trucks because they were moving town, I helped with that also. I wasn't overloaded with work and I only involved myself when I wasn't busy, which was most of the time.

All sorts of information was passed onto me, like it was ground into nearly everyone in town, or should I say everyone in the hills.

The most terrifying fires were the black Saturday fires killing nearly two hundred residents and burning two thousand properties. I read horror stories that I won't repeat here, but Marysville was the worst hit. The whole town was wiped out. I found it very hard to read the fire chief's reports. Tears flowed down my face and March had to close the laptop. He stood me up as I wept for those poor soul's that were trapped in their homes, another image I didn't need.

"Don't take it on board Nicky, I could say that's nature, but it wasn't, it was a callous human act that started it all."

"Those poor people," I whispered.

"Some stayed because they wanted to save their houses and livestock, some just got caught, leaving it too late to escape. Nicky, you have to promise me, if the fires come within six miles of this place you will leave if I'm not around."

"I will baby, I have the emergency map in my car."

"The football oval, I will take you there tomorrow, it's next to the big lake you can see it from the back porch, and you get in that lake quick smart, do not stop for anything." I nodded, I wasn't worried about myself, I was worried about March, he hasn't fought a big mountain range fire, only grass fires.

Tonight is Friday and fish and chips night, we did our usual thing and tubbed it, had wild sex then showered together in our new bathroom, it was awesome. We dressed and were at mum and dads in no time.

"Big night tonight Nicky," He grinned.

"What we are having, an orgy with mum and dad?"

He giggled.

"No silly, but it's going to be a big night." I had no idea what he was on about so I didn't push him for details.

We picked our order up on the way and March and dad were onto it as soon as the paper covering was torn open. Tomato sauce lemons and salt were added, mum and I stared at them, but they didn't notice us.

Dad smiled and nodded to March who winked.

"Okay, what's up, what have you both done?" Mum laughed.

"I found you a property Nicky and your investment portfolio has opened up just in time."

"Really, great? Now I don't have to worry about people wanting my money, I won't have any."

"Well it will clean a lot of it out but you will still have quite a bit left."

"Where is it?"

"We have sold you the family home." I stared at him, he's got to be joking that house is worth plenty.

"What?"

"The family home, you remember it, Nicky, we were only waiting for your investment account to open, it's better than an apartment it will get a very good rent return."

"But I thought you were going to keep it."

"What and then leave it to you, yes that was our plan Nick, but........." He looked at March. I looked at my red-faced boyfriend he looked like the cat that had swallowed the pigeon.

"What have you done?" I accused him of being underhanded again.

"No, don't answer that. Mum, what has he done?" I looked at her.

"Nothing to do with me son, this is all his doing."

"Nicky, your parents were going to sell you the house at a really low price, I intervened and upped it by matching the money. I had to wait to get it out of the trust before I could, and that is why it took so long, nothing to do with your investments." He looked at dad.

"You mean to say we both own my old house, it's in our names?"

Mum touched my arm and said.

"Nicky, the house is your's and March's. You both got it for a good price and we couldn't be happier. We were going to sign it over to both of you, but March is a hard nut to crack. He insisted we get some sort of payment." My boy sat there proudly and I can't destroy his beautiful present, but you know me. I jumped up and pointed to him.

"You bloody idiot, we could have got it for nothing."

He started laughing and I couldn't keep up the annoyed look so I leaned over the table and kissed him gently, then dad, and then mum.

"Thank you."

"Are you going to eat those chips, Nicky?" He asked me.

"Yes." I put my hands around them and his sad face was priceless. Mum got up and found some more.

Disaster struck a few days later, my shorts fell apart in the wash. You would have thought the sky had fallen in as March begged mum to fix them. She looked them over and then threw them in the rubbish bin.

"Sorry March, Nicky they have seen better days, time to get some new ones." She giggled.

I still had other shorts to wear, the pair he had ripped halfway up the side one day, but they weren't the same. I guess I will have to find something else to turn him on and distract the locals when I run by. I had written down the size and brand and searched the web for another pair, but nothing turned up, the company had gone out of business. So in the end I persisted with the ones I had already, they weren't as well worn as the other pair but I will eventually make something decent out of them.

March's new overalls were wearing in perfectly, he even had a rip in one of them, but it could be bigger.

The gym was kicking along beautifully and March is as handsome as ever, our love life had waned some but thankfully now we are back and fully charged. If it wasn't for those shorts disintegrating it would be a lot better.

To compensate for their loss I started buying a stack of sexy underwear but I found out the first night I wore a pair, March had been in my drawer and pilfered some, they did look better on him than me.

The weather was still very hot, and my eyes were everywhere, we started using the river more often, and the weather news was constantly on the radios. The siren went and March jumped in his truck and drove off, four guys from the gym did the same. I guess he forgot to kiss me goodbye but I didn't mind it's my town he protects also. I looked into the workshop, just one car, and dad was working on it, so I went across the road to check on the ladies. They were all smiles but my guts was in a spasm, I got a coffee and handed May the water tin money, she is doing okay with it, I often help her fill the fridges up.

"The fires at the Wagner farm Nicky, the hay bailer exploded."

"Is it out?"

"I think so, the report said the fire brigade were there and had contained it."

"Looks like March will have some work out there tomorrow."

"They will probably get a new one Nicky, it would be insured."

"Oh, I didn't think of that."

"Very important to have insurance Nick, you never know what will happen."

My wise mum said as she handed a salad roll to me.

"Thankfully the rain will be here by the weekend and the temperature will drop." May was relating the news to me while she counted her money.

The truck came back about an hour later and March headed across the street.

"Not a big one but the hay bailer is stuffed."

"The insurance will buy them a new one," I said. He looked at me and started laughing, he sometimes thinks I say some silly things but this time I know I'm right because my mum said so.

We got through that week and all the reports were good, there are fires in other states but it looks like Victoria has dodged a bullet again this year.

We were at mums kitchen table signing the paperwork for the house when dad said.

"Nicky, do you want to go into the city and look at it?"

"No dad I think I know what it looks like." I giggled.

"I haven't seen the inside dad," March said.

"Well here's the keys, Nick take March into the city and show him. We have had it all cleaned up and if you go see that agent that sold your house you can put it up for rent."

March insisted he wanted to see it and he drove me a few days later. He was very excited to see where I once lived, he went ape shit over it, and had to make love to me in my old bedroom which was empty. It looked big with all the furniture out of it, we didn't discuss the price except March said he and May had taken the same amount out of the trust, just to keep it all equal. I will find out what he put in off her later on.

We did a bit of shopping then went into a big clearance store that had rejects and deleted lines cheap. March was like a kid in a candy store his basket was full in no time. I had to switch to a trolley because he wanted a carton of peanut butter that was a steal he said. What I am going to do with it is beyond me, but he wanted it.

I was looking through a table of discontinued clothing when I heard the scream.

"Nicky, Nicky come here quick." He was up the back of the store so I wheeled my trolly down to the last aisle. The specials table he was sifting through was full of men's running shorts. He already had a stack for me to try on and I went through them and found my size, the rest I had to put back.

"They were a smaller size Nicky."

"I know and my balls will get squished in them."

"Oh, how very sad." He kissed me.

I walked out of that shop with fifteen pairs all different colors except the black ones, I had to have five of them. They were identical to my old ones but a different brand, so everyone in town will be happy again.

He drove us back to the cottage and we unpacked the truck. Some will go to mum some to May, she loves peanut butter he had told me, and she can also sell some of it in her shop. The shorts were stacked up on the table, he got out a sharp knife and started making a mess of one pair, I went to the bathroom and then handed him a razor blade. Of course, I had to try each pair on and they were perfect, some unpicked all the way some half so they can rip naturally. Then they had to be washed to get the stiffness out of them.

The hot tub saw me get in with a pair on and his big smile was back, those shorts like his overalls had become an attraction to each other, and he wanted to continue the tradition for as long as he could. Life goes on and my life couldn't get any better, we used the river and the tub, the river on very hot afternoons, and the tub early evenings. On one such evening March said the businesses will wane a bit over winter, he also said it sometimes snows heavily so I was looking forward to that. He gave me a lecture about driving in the slush.

"I only drive two miles March, what trouble do you think I will have?'

"You can never be too careful Nicky, I heard a story about old Mr. Westland who ran off the road on the way to the next town, he wasn't found until spring."

"Old wives tale?"

"Maybe Nicky, but it might be true."

"I will take extra water and a few windcheaters then, and a blanket."

I smiled.

"I will too Nicky." He kissed me and looked much happier, but winter is a bit of a way off yet.

I sat with May the day after and she was still smiling to herself, mum was busy making rolls and handing out her homemade soup, so I had her on her own.

"How much did he take?"

"How much what?"

"For the house May, how much money did he take out of the trust."

"Your parents are very generous Nicky, he didn't take much for the house but he did take extra because I wanted some."

"I see, so you aren't going to tell me then?'

"No, I am sworn to secrecy on this one Nicky, sorry."

Okay I will know when I get my next statement he said he matched my payment, so all I have to look at is the withdrawals.

"He separated it Nick, I think he trusts me now that's why I can't tell you how much he took. It was there because he thought it was our parent's money, but you have changed all of that. He's now thinking of your futures and that's a really good thing for March."

"I am pleased he did that, now you don't have to worry about begging for money."

"I didn't beg Nicky, I felt the same as he did. But now things have changed and we are both happy with our partners and lives.'

"Good."

People were walking past us and saying good morning and some congratulated me, they all had big smiles on their faces, this is such a happy town and I waved and smiled back.

"It's the signage."

"What signage?"

"March had them put up early this morning. There are three standing on the road towards your place."

"I didn't see any new signs May."

"Well, they were there when I came to work."

"I had better go look."

"I think you must, better still they are all over the local page have a look in there." I opened my phone and went to the site. There were three freestanding signs with writing on them.

`This is to let you all know that March Stephenson is very happy."

`He is in a relationship with Nicky Wilson.'

`He loves him to bits, so I am not available anymore, end of'

I started laughing he's finally come out and in a big way. I think he did a great job of it, but the whole town knew anyway.

`Big deal March'

`Good catch March'

`I still love you March'

`He has new shorts on, awesome legs'

This went on and on I couldn't stop laughing at the comments there were hundreds of them.

"You had better go and thank him, he's expecting it." I stood up and looked over the road, he was standing in the doorway with his arms crossed. I walked across and pushed him into his small messy office and then kissed him forever.

"Thank you."

"I thought it was time seeing we are home owners now, and I know most of the gay things."

"You thought right my March Stephenson." I licked his neck then his chest and was heading south to give him a thank you suck, but fate, as always interrupts.

"March you in there, can I get some gas?" He started laughing.

"I will catch you later big boy, and thank you again." I patted his chest.

He kissed me and then he went out to serve the customer, laughing.

I didn't think for one minute he was trying to be funny with the signs, that's just the way he is.

They had disappeared by the next morning because he wanted to keep them at home. The local page did most of the work for him, announcing the relationship didn't surprise them, but he thought he may as well get it done, and then he won't have to answer any more silly questions without lying. The announcement celebrations continued because he locked up a little earlier and made me work until five. He made sure I had a key to the gas pumps in case anyone wanted some, I could do it. But my instructions were that I can't come home until after five. When he left I asked him again what was happening, and all he said was.

"Getting together celebration."

I pulled up in the driveway then opened the front door, he was nowhere to be seen, but I smelt a familiar smell coming from the kitchen. There were rose petals and tea candles on the floor and a little sign that said, follow us. I thought I might have some fun and I know he's in the hot tub, probably naked. So I stripped off and made sure I looked inviting and stepped out onto the porch, then I followed them around to the hot tub. There he was sitting on the side of the tub naked, there were candles everywhere and he looked so good, that grin was priceless. I got in beside him then he started kissing me.

"Thank you." He said.

"For what?"

"For being my boyfriend, for teaching me gay things, and for making me feel so good inside."

"Do you want a fiddle now?"

"Yes please, the corned beef will be ready in a half hour, and I still have to do the potatoes."

"Okay." I slipped down his body, he has done well this evening.

He gets his favorite meal, his suck, and I guess I will be doing the potatoes. Maybe he has a thank you present for me later on.

I saw the signs on the verandah and will store them in the garage. He's made his point the only way he knows. I may sound selfish but believe me, I dined on him like it was the last time I would eat.

He knows I love his body, if I could be adoring it all day I would be, well I sort of do anyway.

I did the potatoes and beans, and surprisingly he even made a white sauce to go with it, mustard parsley sauce I meant. It was delicious and that smile on his face was priceless, he put half of the meat aside to make sandwiches for lunch tomorrow, and an extra two dinners, one he ate later that night and one for breakfast.

He did ask me if I wanted any more but seeing this was his night I said no, he should have it all. I like the corned beef but I loved the Chinese better.

Our getting together officially went very well, we ate and showered then he got stuck into making me feel better inside by having me lay face down on the bed.

"How did it all go, Nicky?" Mum asked."

"Very well mum. March was on top of the world and has his extra sandwiches for lunch," I giggled.

"So you missed out, he ate the lot?" She giggled.

"No mum, not at all." I blushed.

"May is late today, I guess she has slept in again. That tea is walking out the door, it's very popular around here."

"Yes it is, she couldn't have sold all her stock so quickly."

"I think she has Nicky, she had better get onto making some more."

I was watching the garage, there was banging today and I hope he doesn't hit his finger. It stopped and I saw him go and look through the door to the gym, but no me. Then he looked across the road and smiled.

He walked across with his paper bag in hand and kissed me then mum, he sat and blushed.

"Morning tea." Unwrapping his food he asked me to make him a coffee. I laughed as I went to use the machine.

"Is it all gone March?" Mum said when I returned.

"Yes almost, one more for lunch then it's gone." He put a sad face on.

"You had better make another one then."

"Next time I will make two and have you and dad for dinner."

"That would be great son, I will look forward to it."

May turned in and drove around the back, when she got to the table eventually she was excited about something.

"What's got you all happy today sister?" March asked.

"I'm off on an adventure brother, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia. I will be away about four weeks."

He started laughing and took her hand.

"I doubt it sis, you wouldn't make it to the airport, that's if you can find it."

She looked miffed and turned to mum, she's more worldly.

"What do you think mum?"

"I think you are going to have a ball May, is Jason going with you?"

"It was his idea, I have to get a passport though."

"Apply for it online, then go to the post office."

A bit of friendly advice was dealt out while March's jaw dropped.

"You are serious then?"

"Yes March, you don't need me here and Jase and I thought we might have a holiday."

"Well blow me down, May Beth Stephenson is about to become a woman of the world."

"We could go with them if you like." I offered my two cents worth.

His head turned to me and he answered.

"We stay right here Nicky."

That ended my traveling days right there and then, and I didn't mind one bit.

"So when is this adventure going to happen May?" Mum asked.

"We are aiming at the next few next months, it will be summer over there, or hot so I am told."

"You need more herbal tea and other stuff."

"I am doing it on the weekend, you will have plenty and I will show you how to mix it."

"Do you need a hand?" I offered.

"Yes Nicky."

"So you are putting mum in charge of the shop while you are away?" March asked.

"Yes March, if she doesn't want to do it, I can hire someone, easy."

"I will do it May, you go off and have your wonderful adventure, if I need help I will get a temp in."

"Thank you, mum." She smirked. She has all the help she needs to look out for her shop, the people of this town will see to that.

"Pies May."

"What?"

"Pies and pasties, I will need the recipe," Mum said.

"All in hand mum, I will give it to you later it's not a hard job." I saw her wink at mum.

"March you have a customer."

"I have an assistant."

Dad ran out and started pumping gas, he looked like he was enjoying the job and the conversation he was having with the client.

I looked at the gym it does run itself and I should be at home cleaning instead of playing cards on the laptop.

The news of May and Jason's impending holiday hit the local page and pushed March's announcement down, and offers of help came from everywhere. May thanked everyone and said it won't be for another month or so, but she is grateful to everyone. Later on, I said.

"Okay spill the beans, mum."

"What about son?"

"The pies?"

She started laughing, and then she swore me to secrecy.

"She gets them from the bakery three towns over, standing order each week, no cooking."

"Does March know?'

"I doubt it Nicky he's not interested in how they are made, just how they taste." I laughed along with her.

"While I have you here there's been news."

"What news mum?"

"Matt Shore." I groaned as I sat and placed my coffee on the table.

"What now?"

"He's been telling the neighbours he's going to sue you."

"He can't do that he has got no case, I have receipts and bank statements."

"Yes I know you have, but he is being very loud about it."

"Probably thinks I will give him some money to shut him up, that's the way he works."

"I think, for your peace of mind you should be seeing a lawyer, just to get everything straight. Where are your statements anyway?"

"Everything I have on the house is stored at home."

"Better make sure it's safe then, just in case."

"I suppose I had better scan them all too."

I have no idea what he's up to but it will be illegal if I know him.

"You said his fiancee had a lot of his money mum?"

"Yes the rumor is he signed a lot of it over to her for the baby, he had expected to be doing the next series so he was being over-generous."

"I see, has the baby arrived yet?"

"I believe a son Nicky, Anna isn't very happy about it. She thinks she will be lumbered with it, but on the other hand, the money will come in handy." Mum smiled.

"My God, that poor baby he's going to have a fight on his hands if Matt ever gets to see him, he will try and get the money back."

"I don't know son, and I don't ask much because the gossip is offered freely. I can't force people to ask the small questions otherwise they will get suspicious."

"Thank's mum, a very wise move."

I didn't say anything to March, he's got enough on his plate at the moment but that night I grabbed the folder with all my receipts in it and will go through the lot at work tomorrow. I downloaded the relevant bank statements and printed them off also. By doing this I will have everything already sorted out for the lawyer if I need one.

My next problem was the signs and garage items, I hung three signs on the wall to sell and have done a search on the prices I should be charging, and there was still some furniture in the shed. I grabbed two guys from the gym who helped me bring in the three jukeboxes. They plugged them in and surprisingly they worked. I will get them checked out properly before I sell them, but in the meantime, I cleaned them up. March wanted one for home but I know it will end up on the verandah and then it will deteriorate in the open air.

As it happened I was sitting there researching prices the following week and a guy came in and looked at them.

"Are they in working order?"

"Yes sir, but I will have to get them rewired for safety's sake."

"Any prices yet?'

"The big one I want four grand, for the smaller ones, three each."

"And the signs?"

"Two grand each, there is more in the shed if you want to have a look."

"My names Jack, I run a vintage shop in Prahran, my cousin lives up here and he told me about the jukeboxes, and I may be interested in the signage."

"Well, there are plenty of them and petrol bowsers and oil cans a lot of garage stuff."

He went crazy in the shed, took many photos, and was sending them off to his business partner.

"I would like to take the lot can you do me a deal?"

"Give me ten minutes, I will talk to the owner."

He kept looking there was a lot to go through. I know there's at least a hundred grand in there some of the signs were worth a mint.

March was cleaning up and dad was under a car, the radio was blaring so I turned it down.

"March, I have a buyer for the garage stuff, he wants a price for the lot."

"What? he wants it all?"

"Yes, do we do him a deal or hang onto it?"

"It's up to you Nicky, it's your stuff."

"No, it is your stuff and I won't be touching a penny of it," I said through my teeth.

"What did you estimate it at?"

"A hundred grand."

"Sell it all for fifty, it cost me nothing."

"Are you sure because if I do it my way you will get more money?"

"Have you sold anything yet?'

"Well, no."

"Ask fifty baby."

I went back and told him the owner wants eighty for it all.

"I can't do that but I can do a deal, I don't only trade in vintage I do some antiques too. How about I give you fifty-five for the lot, furniture and all."

I stood back and thought about it, then I shook his hand.

"Deal."

"Good, thank you Nicky, will March be pleased?" He smiled.

"He will Jack, and thank you."

"I will send the truck up to collect it, don't worry I have a couple of guys that can pack it all up."

"Bonus." I smiled.

He didn't leave a deposit but I did put a sold note on everything that was in the gym.

"Fifty-five and he took the furniture also, is that okay?"

"It certainly is Nicky, I will give May some for the furniture, and the rest I will deposit into your account."

"I don't want to fight over this March, please keep it."

He looked me in the eyes then he kissed me, his arms hugged me and I melted once again.

"Excuse me you two, when you are finished," Dad said.

"Yes, dad."

"March can you help me with this wheel, it needs a new tyre."

He was doing a roadworthy certificate on a very nice ford zephyr that was going up for sale.

"I will see you in ten minutes." He kissed me again.

So that cleared out the shed, Jack true to his word sent a big furniture truck up and everything was loaded up, the shed was almost empty except for a few tools that March had placed in it.

"They were from the farm, I used them when I was fourteen. I don't know why I kept them."

"For a memory March, we all have them." I picked the bag up and started looking through it, a photo wrapped in plastic was on the bottom, May March, and their mum and dad, I will get it framed for him to place on the mantle.

May was hyped up because she had received her first passport in the mail today. She hated the photo but I doubt anyone likes theirs either. March was quiet I think he will miss her when she goes, but mum was happy to run everything and she had a list of phone numbers of people wanting to help.

She was also happy with the five grand March gave her for the furniture, he once again had asked me if I would take the rest, but I ignored him this time. I had the photo copied and gave her one in a nice frame, she was very happy to see it again she thought it had been lost somewhere.

"I wish March had smiled," I said as I handed it to her.

"That was the day we found out mum only had four weeks to live."

"Sorry May, I didn't know."

"No biggie Nicky you didn't know her, but March was very upset that day."

I will talk to him about it tonight, which I did, he cried and I held him. There is nothing I could do about it, and he knew by the time we went to bed that his mum and dad both are always in his heart.

It was three weeks before she was leaving when the letter arrived, I wasn't expecting one, but it is what it is. The funny thing was it wasn't Matt that was suing me it was his mother Annie. Somehow she had acquired his power of attorney and it said she wanted all my receipts from the house because she was cleaning up his estate. I found that a bit odd, I hadn't heard he was dead. I talked to mum and dad about it and she made a phone call, she talked about the business for ages, she's very good at this. By the time she got off the phone dad had sent my files to his lawyer and a copy of the solicitor's letter for him to handle it.

"She's got his signature on the power of attorney, and she is chasing up money where ever she can, he isn't dead he's just a drug addict Nicky. He gave her a list of people he had lent money to and she's on a witch hunt, so don't think you are alone." Mum said.

"My solicitor will handle it Nicky she won't get her hands on any receipts he will just tell her to bug off." Dad also said.

"Where is Matt living mum do you know?"

"With a man he's involved with, another actor he knows, they both do drugs."

"He's walking a thin line mum if he gets caught again it will be jail."

"I know Nick, his mother knows this too and she's trying to clean up some outstanding accounts." She laughed.

"She won't get anything out of me mum."

"Don't even worry about it, son." Dad held my hand.

I drove home and parked, March's car was there so he will be in the hot tub, he heads there after he showers. I picked up his overalls and underwear and threw them in the wash, I had a bag full of towels from the gym to do also, then I went to find him.

He was sitting in the tub so I stripped off and got in with him. He pulled me into his chest then he moved me to his lap. Looking straight into my eyes he said.

"Now you can tell me."

"Tell you what?"

"Why you are late, why are you looking through documents at work and why do you look so worried?"

There's no hiding anything from March Stephenson. I wiggled my ass on his crotch.

"That comes later, but firstly, enlighten me."

I told him everything and I also told him I didn't want him involved with it all, dads solicitor will fix it.

"I see, so we are keeping secrets again."

"Not so much secrets March. I can handle this one it's an annoyance if anything. I would have told you eventually."

"I believe you, but I don't want us to go through the rest of our lives not involving each other. Because Nicky what hurts you, hurts me, and I need to know what's going on because I may get pretty pissed off and do something really stupid."

"I am sorry baby. I wasn't thinking, it's just that I didn't want to worry you."

"Umm."

His hands were holding my bum and he wiggled a little.

"You can do your thing now." He grinned.

We had sort of makeup sex, it was awesome as his eyes never left mine.

Later on, I was hanging out the wash on the verandah, I will get some dinner on soon he must be hungry. He had been reading something on the local page then suddenly jumped up and rushed out.

"Nicky now she's at it, she's accusing you of stealing her son's money."

"I can sue her for that."

I had a look and there it was as plain as the nose on my face, I was furious.

The comments were all on my side and within an hour the comment was removed, but I did take a photo of it.

"What do you want to do Nick?"

"I want to talk to Matt first."

"Not now or never." He said.

"I will ask him to tell her to back off other wise I will take her home off her by suing."

"Tell her don't talk to him."

"Okay, I will send her a solicitors letter."

"Good, promise me you won't go near him."

"I promise."

I had better go through the legal channels on this one, she is a cagey old fox she knows I don't want any trouble.

We ate then watched some TV then went to bed, I have had enough sex today and I went to sleep wrapped up in Marche's arms.

Dad called early and he and March are both going to a farm, it's a big job but with them both doing it only half the time will be spent there.

"I have rung the solicitor Nicky, he will send a warning letter out."

"But I didn't ask you yet."

"I took the reigns on this one son, she can't be allowed to get away with this kind of public abuse."

"Thank's dad, I appreciate it." I hugged him.

I then hugged March, he looked so good in those overalls, I think he is deliberately ripping them for my enjoyment, they were starting to look like his old ones, but newish. His excuse is he caught them on a nail, then he winked at me.

I waved them goodbye when they left, then I headed for the gym, it was all good there and quite busy, I told one of the regulars I was going across the road for a coffee, he will watch the shop. March doesn't have any cars in today but I will still do his gas pump, I have learned to shut my mouth when someone says, 'Tell March I will fix him up next week' I write the name and amount down then I pass it on. May was so excited she was going shopping for some summer dresses, I reminded her that shes going into one of the cheapest countries to shop in, and she should only take her basics.

Mum confirmed that and May looked panicky.

"May I will come over and help you pack."

"Thank you mum, I am a bit out of my comfort zone."

"That's okay, we will get it done, and don't be so nervous, this is a true adventure for you."

"Okay, focus. We have to start making up some bags. I have two women that have helped in the past and mum I would like you to help, Nicky you don't have to this time."

"But I want to help."

"No, what if March is called away you can't be leaving every two minutes."

"I suppose your right." The people passing by were all smiles today, some stopped to talk some just smiled. They were talking about the post and I was denying everything saying the woman is deranged. Brenda had messaged me saying she had deleted and banned her from the site, but she has friends who may be on it. I don't care anymore she can't hurt me and after the twentieth local stopped I went back to the gym.
