Luke's Secret Art

My Dearest Readers,

It is with great difficulty I write this, both physically and emotionally.

I work for my uncle, painting houses. Thursday, May 4, 2000, while working on an aluminum ladder I suffered a serious injury. The ladder collapsed while I was on it and I plummeted to the ground. The point of impact was my left wrist, which was dislocated. I also broke several bones in my left arm.

At this time I can only be on the computer for short periods of time, as I need to keep my arm elevated. I am in extreme discomfort and pain. The Doctor has told me my arm will never be the same. He also told me that surgery will be required to place pins in my arm.

I have answered all the letters I have received and will do my best to continue that, a little at a time. Please bear with me; I will resume my writing as soon as I can, but that may be several weeks.
