Love Is Up Where We Belong Written By Lady Nimm (9)
Part 3: "Never give a Windsor something to love, for it will eventually die." echoed the words from long ago. Harry returned from rehab, good as new. He was grateful. But he had also been sulking around palaces and public events. The girls that kept vigil outside the palace wondered which girl had the nerve to break HRH's heart.
William stared out the window. His gaze was met by clouds. He had been exploring his sexuality for a while since Nick had left. Now he was sure of what he wanted.
"Your Highness, we are about to land in Tampa bay, Florida." announced the pilot of his private jet.
William grinned and squeezed the teddy bear. "Thank you, Nigel." He had bought a dozen roses and a cute teddy bear for Nick. He was dressed in his finest suit. He stepped off the plane and into the car he would drive to Nick's. He knew Nick's adress. It's driving on the right side that was going to bother him.
He finally made it after twenty minutes of learning the american road. Will punched in the code to Nick's home and went up towards the door, knocking on the door.
Nick opened the door. Will felt his breath leave his body. The paparazzi were wrong. The months of hiding gave Nick a beautiful and fit body and it was only covered by a towel wrapped around his waist. He was wet, no doubt from the shower.
"Uh--" Will pulled at his collar. Suddenly, his tie was very constricting. A blush rose to his cheeks. "Um, h-hi Nick." he barely got out.
Nick smiled. He wasn't the only one developing an incredible physique. He had seen the pictures of William that were on the internet and in magazines. "Hello, William. Come on in." He ushered the boy in and closed the door to prying eyes. "I see you've been doing fine."
"So have you." Will replied softly. He held out the teady bear and roses towards Nick. "I know it's cheesy but I knew you'd like it as soon as I saw it."
Nick cautiously picked up the bear. He smiled. It was dressed as a knight with a sword and everything. On its shield and chest armor, it said: "Sir Hugs-a-lot". He smiled at Will and at the roses. "Thank you, Will. I'll treasure these. Actually, I have something for you." He motioned for Will to follow him. "How long are you staying?"
"About two weeks." Will replied. "Why?"
Nick leaned against a door. "Why stay at a cheesy hotel when you can stay here?" He opened the door to a gorgeous guest bedroom that left Will shocked and amazed.
"Nick, it's absolutely beautiful." he whispered. "This isn't fair, I came here to tell you that I'm ready and you surprise me with this."
"I figured that if you were going to stay in Florida, I should offer the same hospitality that you showed me and my friends." Nick replied. "I was going to go out to swim when you dropped by. I have an extra set of trunks, you wanna go?" he asked.
Will smiled at Nick and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "I've been itching to get out of this suit."
Nick groaned and turned towards the drawers. He pulled out a trunks he had bought a month earlier. He tossed them at Will's direction and left to change.
God, when had William Windsor grow from cute to, as his mother once put it, Drop Dead Gogeous? He heard a door open and his dogs barking followed by a thud. He swung open his door to see Will laughing on the floor with his pugs all over him.
"They're almost like Grandmum's corgis." Will laughed. "So are you dressed and ready to go?" he asked.
Nick smiled and walked out in his black trunks. "I was born ready. Now, I can swim before I can walk." He threw an arm around Will's shoulders and sniffed his neck. "Ooh, what's that?"
"Shampoo, you dork." Will grinned. "Race ya to the tide!"
Nick ran after him as the sun set over the Florida horizon. He tackled Will into the waves, laughing and dunking as if they were old friends.
^^^^^^^^^*^ The 3-year-old splashed in the water happily. "Mama!" he laughed as the Grecian sun set over the horizon. He shrieked with delight when his strong father picked him up. Countess Rose watched as her husband played with her son, knowing it would be their last beach trip together.
